Leah Isobel: Equal parts delightful and boring, "Rockstar" distinguishes itself from LISA's previous solo material by having ideas, or at least the semblance of them: the switches between celestial melody and skittering momentum, the blunt sexuality of the post-chorus, and the critique embedded in the chorus' "teach me Japanese" bit all point to a real personality. But its blockbuster soundscape and paucity of structural interest -- that chorus is worn out by the third repetition -- squeeze out the more interesting parts. It's a La Croix song, with just a hint of flavor beneath all the empty fizz. [5]

Jonathan Bradley: “‘Lisa, can you teach me Japanese?’/I said ‘hai, hai’” is such an ostentatiously silly lyric, especially for one that recurs that many times, but it helps lighten a song that could otherwise be too self-serious in its stunting. LISA's got a likeable charisma, but she doesn’t fit imperious well, which is perhaps why her royal fanfare comes in the form of a mere Tame Impala sample. Likewise, that sample drops in just before the harsh pinging production threatens to become alienating. A pose of indomitability that is fortunate not to be as uncompromising as it imagines itself to be. [7]

Taylor Alatorre: The self-orientalizing doesn't land as hard as it should because it aims a bit too broadly -- after two decades of hallyu, it's more plausible that an oblivious fan would mistake Lisa for being Korean than Japanese. Hip hop is built on hyperbole, but the low-hanging "all look same" punchline represents a missed opportunity to foreground her status as the only Thai member of a flagship K-pop group. CL, while lacking such status, seemed to have more fun with her version of this trick on "Hello Bitches," zipping from Macau to Kakao to sake with breathless irreverence. But "Rockstar" is more stylishly produced than "Hello Bitches" was, with a refurbished griminess built of interlocking machine parts. If the end result is to evoke the kind of amalgamated cyber-Asia that forms the backbone of Bullet Train and Elon's Twitter feed, that isn't the worst possible thing; at least it gives the joke a proper setting. Will Adams: Much like a lesser known Rihanna single of a similar title, "Rockstar" is an endearing game of play-pretend that doesn't take itself too seriously. Do I believe LISA is actually a rock star? No. Do I believe she's having fun? Oh yeah. [7]

Ian Mathers: It didn't fuck me up when I saw people roughly my age noting that kids these days will sometimes refer to "taping" shows without understanding why we call it that, or that they don't recognize what the save icon is a picture of. But I did get a bit of a jolt listening to this and realizing that "rockstar" as a term is probably as referent-less these days as "dialing" a phone number is (and that's without getting into the precipitous and not wholly unwelcome decline of calling people). That doesn't mean the use of "rockstar" feels inappropriate here at all; for the length of "Rockstar" LISA certainly feels like one in the modern sense, even as the song doesn't even vaguely gesture towards the music genre that used to inform the term. But who cares? It kinda bangs. [7]

Nortey Dowuona: James Essien, a Ghanaian songwriter who cowrote "Hurt People" for Belizeian-Trinidadian pop singer Kamal., is one of the three co-writers (along with Delacey of "Drama Queen" and Lucy Healey of "imtyn"  by Grace Enger), alongside producers Ryan Tedder and Sam Homaee. These have nothing to do with the light faux Tame Impala drums that play for two bars, but I'd rather mention all of that than anything that happens in this song. [3]

Leo seufzte tief und ließ den Kopf hängen. Er war gerade erst aufgestanden und hatte feststellen müssen, dass sein ganzer Körper, vom Kopf bis zur Schwanzflossenspitze, schmerzte. Noch etwas schlaftrunken war er an die Muschelkommode geschwommen. Ein Blick in den Spiegel brachte Antworten. Da waren sie. Bisswunden - Liebesbisse. Und nicht nur einer. Leo stieg unvermeidlich die Röte ins Gesicht, als ihn die Erinnerungen an letzte Nacht einholten. Leo ließ die sie zu, schloss die Augen und strich über jede einzelne rote Stelle.

Es war unglaublich. Leo konnte sein Glück kaum fassen. Es prasselten so viele Gefühle und Gedanken auf ihn nieder. Er wusste nicht wohin mit sich. Bisher hatte er immer nur davon geträumt und über 15 Jahre voll Ungewissheit gewartet und die Möglichkeit herbeigesehnt Adam wieder bei sich zu haben. Leo lief Gefahr abzuschweifen, aber da biss Adam auch schon das erst Mal zu. Der Blonde hatte Leo von hinten fest im Griff und drückte sich enger an ihn. Irgendwie hatte Leo es sich schlimmer vorgestellt und ließ die Schulten etwas sinken, da biss Adam erneut zu. Leo schrie erschrocken auf. Nein, er stöhnte kurz auf. Damit hatte er nicht gerechnet. Dieses Gefühl. „Alles okay? Soll ich aufhören…?“, Adam klang nicht wirklich besorgt, sprach Leos Stöhnen doch eine eigene Sprache, und hielt dennoch inne. Langsam drehte sich Leo in Adams Griff nach vorne, um ihn anzusehen. Leos Wangen waren rot und es kam kaum mehr als ein Flüstern über seine Lippen. „Nein, mach… mach weiter. Es ist nur… also… du bist… ich weiß ja, dass das bei euch Haien so ist“, er lächelte verlegen und lehnte seine Stirn an Adams. Dieser grinste diebisch, „Gut.“ Keine Sekunde später biss Adam sich wieder fest. Dabei war er so unverschämt sanft und fordernd zugleich, es trieb Leo zu Verzweiflung. Sein Stöhnen klang erstickt, weil ihn die pure Erregung immer wieder mit solcher Wucht traf, dass er sich sammeln musste. Die Schmerzen empfand er mittlerweile als berauschend.  Leos Herz hämmerte wie wild gegen seinen Brustkorb. Ihre Unterleiber rieben sich aneinander und Adams Schwanzflosse umschlang Leos, festigte den Griff. Von außen betrachtet drehten sie sich dabei mehrmals, aber Adam behielt die Kontrolle. Irgendwann spürte Leo dann doch die Matratze aus Seegras unter sich und wie etwas in seinem Unterleib gegen die Schuppen drückt und ebenfalls nach mehr Aufmerksamkeit verlangte.

Leo riss die Augen auf. Nein, jetzt war keine Zeit dafür. Ein Wunder, dass er nicht erregt war, dabei spürte er die Hitze ganz deutlich.

Adam hatte ganze Arbeit geleistet. Ein Schauer lief über Leos Rücken. Er schämte sich nicht. Ganz im Gegenteil. Der ganz Ozean sollte wissen, wie froh er über Adams Rückkehr war und dass sie zusammengehörten und es funktionieren konnte. Doch hatte Adam es so übertreiben müssen? Darüber mussten sie auf jeden Fall noch einmal sprechen. Er sah Esther schon vor sich, wie sie mit den Augen rollte und diesen mahnenden Blick auflegte. Gerade versuchte er seinen Rücken zu inspizieren, da fiel sein Blick zur Tür und auf Adam, der ihn mit einem breiten Grinsen begutachtete. Die blauen Augen seines Freundes waren sehr viel dunkler geworden. Adams Jagdtrieb meldete sich. Leo wollte wütend sein, konnte die erneute Schamesröte aber auch nicht verhindern. „Guck‘ Dir an, was du gemacht hast? Ich finde es leider weniger amüsant, wenn mir alle ansehen können, was ich die…“, dann fehlten ihm die Worte, weil Adams Lippen auf seinen lagen. Genießend schloss er die Augen, seufzte in den Kuss hinein. „Adam… das ist unfair“, und sah den Blondschopf vorwurfsvoll an. „Jaja, ich habe dich verstanden. Das nächste Mal halte ich mich zurück“, dieses Versprechen klang allerdings schrecklich in Leos Ohren. Er würde dann sicher auf einiges verzichten müssen. „NEIN!“, er ärgerte sich über diesen Ausbruch, weil Adam ihn schon wieder so verschlagen entgegengrinste, “Pass einfach auf, wo du mich beißt.“ Adam legte seine Arme um Leo und zog ihn an sich. Die leichte Strömung brachte sie fast automatisch zusammen. „Verstanden und weißt du, wenn du heute nicht unbedingt irgendwo sein musst, dann wüsste ich schon etwas, was wir mit unserer Zeit anfangen könnten“, Adam war nun an der Reihe seine Stirn an Leos zu lehnen. „Was denn?“, flüsterte der Brünette. „Ich hatte noch gar keine Gelegenheit die Liebesbisse zu prüfen. Vielleicht habe ich etwas falsch gemacht. Außerdem habe ich gehört, dass Küsse“, was Adam dann auch demonstrierte und liebkoste den Liebesbiss an Leos Hals, „beruhigend wirken.“ Leos Augenlider flatterten und er legte den Kopf zurück, als Adam noch einen Kuss in seiner Halsbeuge platzierte. Seine Schwanzflosse umschloss Adams.

Vielleicht schaffe ich noch ein nicht chibiesques Bild

( Ich bin innerlich eskaliert, als mir wieder einfiel, dass Haie sich festbeißen während der Paarung. Zumindesz weiß man das von enigigen Arten. Adam gehört definitiv zu der Familie der Makrelenhaie [hier gehört auch der Weiße Hai, der Riesenhai, Makohai etc. dazu] und ich sage nun einfach, dass er das auch macht *__*)

Sarah Adams: The Rule Book: Liebe kennt keine Regeln

Das Buch erzählt die Geschichte von Nora, die mit ihrem Leben eigentlich recht zufrieden ist – bis sie auf Derek, ihren Ex-Freund trifft, der ihr Jahre zuvor das Herz gebrochen hat. Nora ist sich sicher, dass sie nichts mehr mit ihm zu tun haben möchte, doch durch eine Verkettung von Umständen kreuzen sich ihre Wege erneut und beide werden gezwungen, enger miteinander zu arbeiten als sie möchten. Nun entwickelt sich langsam eine Dynamik und sie sind sich nicht mehr sicher, ob wirklich alles gegen eine zweite Chance spricht. Das Buch erzählt eine herrlich witzige, atmosphärische Geschichte, durch die man leicht kommt. Teils gibt es spritzige Dialoge, teils ein paar längere Durststrecken. Aber das Gesamtpaket des Buches konnte mich überzeugen. Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist herrlich, es fühlt sich so echt an und sie schafft es auch, die Längen gut zu überspielen, die in dieser Geschichte leider hier und da vorkommen. Dennoch fliegt man durch die Seiten, vor allem wenn einem der Stil des Schreibens so sehr gefällt. Aber nicht nur der Stil ist gut, sondern auch die Charaktere. Diese sind so herrlich gezeichnet und man spürt die Harmonie der beiden förmlich. Auch wenn sie einige Missverständnisse haben, die ich manchmal ein wenig unnötig und in die Länge gezogen finde. Das Ende hat mich überrascht, denn ich habe so gar nicht mit so einem gerechnet. Wer also eine herrlich schöne Liebesgeschichte mit tollen Charakteren sucht, ist bei diesem Buch goldrichtig. Hey, da du mir die Frage ebenfalls gestellt hast, werde ich sie dir natürlich gerne beantworten.

Es gibt tatsächlich ein paar...

Bei DFL: ist es ebenfalls die Szene mit Adam und Leo, als sie sich das erste mal nach 15 Jahren wiedersehen.

Bei HDS: finde ich die Anfangsszene sehr schön. Als die 4 im China Restaurant sind. Ich finde da konnte man sehen, dass sie als Team enger wurden. Und die Szene am See, da finde ich sieht man, wie Leo damit ringt ob er Adam glauben soll oder nicht. Und das er ihm gerne Helfen möchte.

Bei KDE: Tatsächlich die Krankenhausszene zwischen Adam und Leo. ABER, lass es mich bitte erklären. Bei der Szene gefällt mir eher die Schauspielerische Leistung von Daniel und Vladimir ( sind natürlich immer gut, egal in welcher szene oder in welchem Teil. Nicht falsch verstehen.) Ich finde einfach die haben die Szene einfach so gut und real rüber gebracht. Ich konnte mich so gut in Leo hineinversetzten, den Schmerz den er da in der Sekunde gefühlt hat. Mir tat es selbst weh, dass zu sehen. Hatte etwas trauriges. Also, wie gesagt, das soll eher ein Lob an beide Schauspieler sein.

Bei FDG: ebenfalls die Szene im Büro als Adam Leos Gesicht in die Hände nimmt. Eine sehr schöne Szene. Als ich die gesehen hab ich für eine Sekunde gedacht,dass Adam noch die Stirn an Leos Stirn legt, also das er für ne sekunde Stirn an Stirn. Hätte aufjedenfalls gepasst. Aber was ebenfalls gut finde ich die Szene im Büro als Leo etwas moralisch fragwürdiges Vorschlägt und wenige minuten Adams grinsen und Blick. Könnte ich mir immer wieder anschauen. Und dann noch die ganze Szene im Auto vor dem Lagerhaus. Als Adam Leo sagt, das es jetzt reicht etc. Man konnte gut sehen das sich Adam sorgen um Leo macht. Wie er Leo auch hinterherschaut als dieser ins Lagerhaus geht.

So wurde nun doch etwas länger😅. Aber es gab halt auch einige Szene die gut waren. Und noch kurz zu den Schauspielern selbst. Hab ja bereits gesagt, das die immer sehr gut alles machen. Und da spielt auch die Chemie und Freundschaft zwischen Daniel und Vladimir eine große Rolle. Man merkt die Chemie auf dem Bildschirm von den beiden. Ob die Büro Szene, Krankenhaus oder den anderen Szenen. Vladimir hat in einem interview, glaube im Januar, auch erzählt das sie die See szene von FDG nach nur einem Dreh im Kasten hatten. Daran merkt man das die zwei schon richtig eingespielt sind.

Natürlich nicht nur die Männer sondern auch die Frauen machen ihre Arbeit gut. Und das ganze gilt auch fûr die Frauen. Man merkt das sie sich verstehen. Und ich finde sowas ist auch wichtig.

So das wars aber nun mit meiner XL Antwort 😆.

Zur Szene am See: Ha! HA! Ja, also bin ich nicht die Einzige, die da ein Zögern zieht. Ich finde Leos Anspannung beinahe schon greifbar für den Bruchteil einer Sekunde.

Du, alles gut, die Krankenhausszene mag ich auch sehr sehr gerne. Sie ist vielschichtig, emotional, dramatisch und voller Zwischentöne. Einfach aber auch toll gespielt von den Beiden und wie du schon sagst: Leos Schmerz, aber auch Adams wütender Schmerz und seine Enttäuschung sind so präsent.

Stirn an Stirn…ich hege Hoffnung für den kommenden Teil! Ich meine, die Beiden sind der Inbegriff vom Slow Burn und unresolved sexual tension, da geht das nicht einfach so mit dem vollumfänglichen Anfassen. 😁Ne Spaß beiseite. Ich habe da auch mitgefiebert und vielleicht etwas enttäuischt gegrunzt, als nicht doch noch das Quäntchen mehr kam.

Poah! Adams zufriedenes Grinsen über Leos Entscheidung. Das konnte schon VIEL. Ebenso wie der sich sorgende Adam. Hach. FdG war schon in vielerlei Hinsicht ein toller Tatort mit tollen Szenen.

Die Spiegelszene fand ich grandios. Alleine, dass sich Leo einen Adam vorstellt, der ihm nicht nur Tipps gibt, sondern der ihn auch noch foppt und der ihn auch noch liebevoll disst. Das in Leos halb besoffenen Kopf ist schon deutlich über dem, was ich erwartet hatte, aber ich habe es gefeiert (und feiere es immer noch).

Ich hoffe sehr, dass wir von Pia und Esther auch in den künftigen Tatorten mehr sehen werden. Ich mag die beiden sehr gerne und fände auch ein bisschen Hintergrund zu ihnen mal echt nicht schlecht.

Quick Bits:

Angel #0 spins out of Buffy the Vampire Slayer #4 (the ending events of which are presented again at the beginning here), giving us a flashback of Angel in Los Angeles and a case involving a werewolf. The tone here from Bryan Edward Hill, Gleb Melnikov, Gabriel Cassata, and Ed Dukeshire is bleaker than the Buffy series, but it’s fitting.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #1 is the first of these series that I’ve picked up, so I didn’t initially clue in that this wasn’t necessarily how this crossover had played out previously, but this first issue features a world of the two properties mashed-up in a combined reality. It’s an interesting start from James Tynion IV, Freddie E. Williams II, Kevin Eastman, Jeremy Colwell, and Tom Napolitano with some gorgeous artwork.

Black Hammer ‘45 #3 features a guest-spot for a young Abraham Slam, who seems to rub the Black Hammer Squadron the wrong way through trying to follow through with ideals and principles. It’s an interesting underlining of whatever potentially grey area operation the squad is on, as Jeff Lemire, Ray Fawkes, Matt Kindt, Sharlene Kindt, and Marie Enger continue to let that plot point simmer.

Champions #5 is a tie-in to War of the Realms and also serves as a bit of glue to hold together different parts of the event, building upon things across different areas of the Marvel universe. It also gives us a very heartfelt reunion of Ms. Marvel and Cyclops, wonderfully told by Jim Zub, Juanan Ramírez, Marcio Menyz, and Clayton Cowles.

DC’s Year of the Villain Special #1 gives a trio of teasers, two largely for the two sides of the Justice League/Legion of Doom stuff that has been going on, providing a backbone for the Year of the Villain event, and the third for Brian Michael Bendis’ brainchild of Event Leviathan, which unfortunately feels kind of out of place with the rest of it. As though the two separate stories are competing for resources, rather than being part of a cohesive whole. That said, all of the teasers do their job fairly well, piquing interest in what’s to come.

DCeased #1 is basically DC’s answer to Marvel Zombies by way of Stephen King’s Cell, but it’s damn entertaining work from Tom Taylor, Trevor Hairsine, James Harren, Stefano Gaudiano, Rain Beredo, and Saida Temofonte. The set-up for the series with Darkseid meddling with the Anti-Life Equation and winding up with something worse is perfect.

Deathstroke #43 is kind of the conclusion to “The Terminus Agenda”, on paper at least. There’s still an epilogue over in the next issue of Teen Titans and the final page of this one sets up something huge going forward.

Descendent #1 begins another new conspiracy thriller, building off a child abduction and a “truther”, from Stephanie Phillips, Evgeniy Bornyakov, Lauren Affe, and Troy Peteri. It’s a bit of a slow build, working to develop the characters nicely, but there’s an intriguing mystery here.

Eclipse #15 reaches a boiling point in this penultimate issue. Zack Kaplan, Giovanni Timpano, Flavio Dispenza, and Troy Peteri have at least partially turned this arc upside down, causing us to have some serious questions about the morality of either side in the conflict. It adds a great depth to the characters’ actions and makes me unsure as to what exactly I’d like to see in the finale.

Elephantmen 2261: The Pentalion Job #1 begins a new digital original mini-series from Richard Starkings and Axel Medellin. Burba sees himself released from prison early, only to be set up to do a new enormous heist. Starkings builds this one greatly out of what’s come before in the series and the art from Medellin is gorgeous.

Fallen World #1 is a very welcome return to the future of the Valiant universe, spinning out of the changes made to the world in 4001 AD and War Mother, with Dan Abnett, Adam Pollina, Ulises Arreola, and Jeff Powell weaving gold out of the fallen threads of the fallen New Japan. You needn’t have read anything prior to this, Abnett does a wonderful job filling in necessary details of the world and the characters. The art from Pollina is probably the best I have ever seen from him, there’s detail, grace, and expressiveness that has leapt so far beyond even the beautiful work he’s done before. He and Arreola make this a damn impressive book to look at. Highly recommended.

Giant Days #50 features a cricket match, including an explanation of the game that makes more sense than I’ve ever seen it explained before. John Allison, Max Sarin, Whitney Cogar, and Jim Campbell deliver another hilarious issue, with one hell of a final page.

The Girl in the Bay #4 is the end to this mini from JM DeMatteis, Corin Howell, James Devlin, and Clem Robins. It answers what happened in order to create two Kathy Santoris, and her murderer’s deal, but it maintains the weirdness set from the beginning.

Gogor #1 is an entertaining start to this fantasy series from Ken Garing. The set up for the Domus taking over is interesting, as is the introduction of the seemingly Hulk-like saviour in the titular character. Gorgeous artwork throughout.

Green Lantern #7 is a standout issue in an already astounding run, as Hal Jordan and a friend he finds in Pengowirr try to escape from Hal’s dying power ring. Great twists and turns throughout from Grant Morrison, Liam Sharp, and Tom Orzechowski. The layouts for many of the pages, playing with the shape of the Green Lantern symbol are very impressive.

Harley Quinn #61 is the first of this series I’ve picked up, due to Otto Schmidt taking over regular art duties, and I quite like this. This is the first part of “Role Players” from Sam Humphries, Schmidt, and Dave Sharpe, porting Quinn off to an alternate realm steeped in Dungeons & Dragons fantasy tropes. It’s pretty entertaining, with great art from Schmidt.

Hashtag: Danger #1 is another entertaining addition to the second wave of Ahoy’s comics, with Tom Peyer and Chris Giarrusso’s humorous take on the Challengers of the Unknown formula graduated from back-up to series. It’s rounded out with the usual back-up strip, text piece, and prose.

Justice League #23 has one hell of a gut punch for an ending (granted, it’s a little undercut by the DC’s Year of the Villain Special, but how could we expect something like that to remain anyway?). Absolutely stunning artwork from Jorge Jimenez and Alejandro Sánchez who only seem to outdo themselves with each subsequent issue.

Marvel Team-Up #2 continues the team-up between Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man in this Freaky Friday take from Eve L. Ewing, Joey Vasquez, Felipe Sobreiro, and Clayton Cowles. Interesting exploration of Peter and Kamala as they navigate aspects of each other’s lives.

Meet the Skrulls #4 unveils what was a the heart of Project Blossom as fractures continue to develop between the Warner family. Great twists and turns from Robbie Thompson, Niko Henrichon, Laurent Grossat, and Travis Lanham as the series winds up for its conclusion.

Nobody is in Control #1 features some very dense storytelling from Patrick Kindlon, Paul Tucker, and Wallace Ryan in this debut issue that goes down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and seemingly random information. It reminds me a bit of the structure of Steve Seagle and Kelley Jones’ Crusades from Vertigo ages ago, but with a more likeable protagonist and a decidedly different narrative.

The Punisher #11 is the explosive conclusion to “War in Bagalia” from Matthew Rosenberg, Szymon Kudranski, Antonio Fabela, and Cory Petit. When I say “conclusion”, though, I only mean it’s the end of the arc, it doesn’t really conclude anything with Jigsaw or Zemo. Great art from Kudranski and Fabela.

Red Sonja #4 delves a bit more into Sonja’s past and training, seeding something interesting, while the first assault after being resupplied takes place. Mark Russell, Mirko Colak, Bob Q, Dearbhla Kelly, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou are continuing to tell an engrossing, thought-provoking story with this series.

Savage Avengers #1 is a good debut from Gerry Duggan, Mike Deodato Jr., Frank Martin, and Travis Lanham. It spins out of Avengers: No Road Home, but only inasmuch as depositing Conan in the Savage Land. We’re getting a bit of a gathering of the team here as an ancient cult tries to summon a bloodthirsty deity from a planet past Pluto.

The Six Million Dollar Man #3 is another hilarious issue from Christopher Hastings, David Hahn, Roshan Kurichiyanil, and Ariana Maher. The comedy of errors increases as Steve tries to recharge himself through acting as a lightning rod. Just wonderful stuff.

Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider #8 sees Seanan McGuire continue to absolutely nail the character development and interpersonal interactions between the characters in a compelling and intriguing way that hooks you well on their drama, even amidst all of the action, mystery, and excitement. Also, the art from Takeshi Miyazawa and Ian Herring remains incredible.

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Han Solo #1 gives us a sweet smuggling run set between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back as Han and Chewie are still carving out what their place happens to be in this world, from Greg Pak, Chris Sprouse, Karl Story, Tamra Bonvillain, and Travis Lanham.

Transformers #4 maintains the slowburn for this story arc, delivering a bit more information, a Cyclonus that might be insane, and Brainstorm’s funeral. Also, I’d swear that the story is hinting that the newly forged Transformer is the murderer, but that may just be me putting together dots that don’t actually align. It’s really nice to see art here from Sara Pitre-Durocher and Andrew Griffith as they join Angel Hernandez this issue.

Volition #5 throws a boatload of betrayals and twists at us as Amber and Hale continue to try to track down their creator...and her dog. Ryan Parrott, Marco Itri, Leonardo Paciarotti, and Marshall Dillon are very nicely raising the tension levels in this issue.

The War of the Realms #3 sees Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman, Matthew Wilson, and Joe Sabino continue to juggle the massive amount of characters and threads going into this event (even if some of the tie-in mini-series don’t seem to line up with the main event book itself). The War of the Realms: Strikeforce - The Dark Elf Realm #1 is a one shot from Bryan Hill, Leinil Francis Yu, Gerry Alanguilan, Matt Hollingsworth, and Joe Sabino further exploring the team of Freyja, the Punisher, She-Hulk, Blade, and Ghost Rider before they ride off to Svartalfheim in War of the Realms #3. Some interesting character explorations and the nightmare of thousands of fluffy kittens.

Young Justice #5 is huge, potentially exponentially huge, as it seems to pull at the fraying threads of the New 52 and Rebirth to hearken back to the pre-Flashpoint DCU. Brian Michael Bendis, John Timms, Kris Anka, Doc Shaner, Gabe Eltaeb, and Wes Abbott may be playing with fire but it’s a very welcome warmth. Bring marshmallows.

APT-Gruppe attackiert gezielt Diplomaten

Neue APT-Gruppe nimmt gezielt Diplomaten ins Visier: ESET Forscher haben Aktivitäten der Hackergruppe in Europa, Asien und Afrika verfolgt und analysiert. ESET Forscher haben eine neue APT-Gruppe namens BackdoorDiplomacy entdeckt. Die Hacker haben es vor allem auf Außenministerien im Nahen Osten und in Afrika abgesehen. Hierbei sind sie aber auch in Deutschland und Österreich aktiv geworden. Auch Aktivitäten in Deutschland Ihre Angriffe beginnen in der Regel mit dem Ausnutzen von verwundbaren Anwendungen auf Webservern, um eine benutzerdefinierte Backdoor zu installieren, die ESET Turian nennt. Ihre Ergebnisse haben die Forscher des europäischen IT-Sicherheitsherstellers online auf WeliveSecurity veröffentlicht. „BackdoorDiplomacy teilt Taktiken, Techniken und Verfahren mit anderen Gruppen aus Asien. Die eingesetzte Malware Turian stellt wohl eine Weiterentwicklung von Quarian dar. Das Schadprogramm wurde 2013 bei Angriffen auf diplomatische Ziele in Syrien und den USA eingesetzt“, sagt Jean-Ian Boutin, Head of Threat Research bei ESET. Zusammen mit Adam Burgher, Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst bei ESET, hat er an diesen Untersuchungen gearbeitet. Ziele auch in Europa Opfer der APT-Gruppe BackdoorDiplomacy waren Außenministerien mehrerer afrikanischer Länder ebenso Einrichtungen in Europa, dem Nahen Osten und Asien. Weitere Ziele sind Telekommunikationsunternehmen und mindestens eine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation. In jedem dieser Fälle setzten die Angreifer ähnliche Taktiken, Techniken und Prozeduren (TTPs) ein. Sie modifizierten jedoch die verwendeten Tools, sogar innerhalb enger geografischer Regionen, was die Verfolgung der Gruppe wahrscheinlich erschweren sollte. Windows- und Linux-Systeme werden attackiert Die BackdoorDiplomacy agiert plattformübergreifend. Sowohl Windows- als auch Linux-Systeme werden von der Gruppe angegriffen. Dabei haben es die Hacker gezielt auf Server mit offenen Ports im Internet abgesehen. Hierbei nutzen sie nach Erkenntnissen der ESET Forscher unzureichende Sicherheitsvorkehrungen beim Hochladen von Dateien oder ungepatchte Schwachstellen aus. Ein Teil der Opfer wurde mit speziellen Programmen zur Datensammlung angegriffen, die nach Wechseldatenträgern auf den Systemen suchen. Bei Erkennung eines Laufwerks werden alle darauf befindlichen Dateien in ein kennwortgeschütztes Archiv kopiert.
