[ Sally Face Char. Analysis/Headcanons. ]

(Sal, Ash, Larry, Todd/Neil)

ALPHAS BACK W HER SHITTY AU, what i think it would be like if the cult wasn’t involved in their universe (yet) and they got past hs, main cast is estimated to be 18-19/freshman in college since thats how old I was when I first started writing this, i’m a procrastinator leave me alone :( , (some of the HCs will include the main protagonist but i tried to separate them for people who don’t care lmao), Dw tho most of these are just ab the main characters, we're borderlining between canon/non here, erm- can you tell i was watching south park while writing this?, also if u know me irl don’t think ab how hard I'm projecting onto these characters, take a shot everytime i say ‘really’ or ‘just’, you’ll end up on the floor, additional oc's don't have anything rn bc I'm still figuring out the tl so i’m gonna separate them from ppl who don’t wanna read.

❅ Sal Fisher.

▪ He’s obsessed with the flavor of mint(?) only buys mint flavored toothpaste, gum, and well- mints. It's not even for his breath (necessarily) he just eats them like candy.

▫ Often had panic/anxiety attacks when he was a kid, it’s a lot better now that he’s gotten older but it used to be very bad before he moved to Nockfell.

(Has never taken Gizmo to professional training, but the felines learned to work/manage around Sals anxiety during an attack and can tell when other people are beginning to get anxious.)

(Bought himself a small cat plushie that looks like Gizmo to hang off his backpack.)

▪ The pink bit of his prosthetic is a piece from his previous mask (the last one was broken from an incident before in Jersey). When Sal and his mom were hospitalized after the attack, Sal chose the color for his mask since he knew pink was his moms favorite and wanted to surprise her when she woke up.

(He never got to show her because she died of organ failure during the recovery period. So now, Sal just keeps his prosthetic mismatched like that to carry around a piece of his mom everywhere.)

▫ Sal can’t really remember the color of his moms eyes, in his memories she’s just a hazy mob of blonde hair and soft smiles, but his dad used to say he had his moms eyes when he was younger.

▪ The best at words of affirmation. He appreciates physical affection (very very very much), but just isn’t used to it. Likes to reassure and praise the people he loves (doesn’t need to be in a romantic sense, he just cares a lot about the people who choose to be in his life, yk?).

▫ Smells like leather, cigarettes, and mints. He doesn’t wear strong cologne since his nose is sort of sensitive around them.

▪ Adapted this habit of staying ungodly still while he sleeps, continues doing it when he first wakes up in the morning too. He literally looks like a corpse and no one can ever tell if he’s actually sleeping or just laying there.

▫ Has a fascination with magic tricks. (sorry guys it the undiagnosed ‘tism) specifically with coins and cards. He carries around a pack of playing cards with him at all times to fidget with (wears baggy jeans/cargo pants with lots of pockets that are always full of things(?)).

(can’t be sneaky AT ALL ‘cause if you hear keys and shit jangling from down the hall, you just know it’s his ass.)

▪ Owns a knife collection and likes to do little tricks with them too. He’s also pretty good at knife throwing but at the expense of hidden holes left around his room due to bad aiming that he covers up with band posters (One time he and Larry played a game of tossing knives at apples stacked on top of each other’s heads and got caught by Lisa. Safe to say that was quickly put to a stop.)

▫ Hard of hearing in his right ear, his auditory nerves are slowly getting worse overtime so he wears a hearing aid. Sometimes if he’s feeling sassy when fighting with Larry, he’ll just take it out and be like “can't hear you,” shrugs and ignores him for like ten minutes (pisses Larry off because he knows Sal can literally hear him just fine from the other ear but he likes being dramatic to prove a point).

▪ Self-proclaimed professional ghost hunter. He has trouble sleeping at night so sometimes he’ll just go to random places and walk around for hours. He finds abandoned buildings or areas that just give off an unsettling vibe and then text the gc his location being like ‘we should ghost hunt here’/‘lots of ghostly aura’.

(for some reason everyone just goes with it more often than not, if they’re available at the time. There’s a duffle bag in the back of Sals truck filled with ‘hunting gear’ the groups accumulated over the years, most of which were just mini-projects Todd made).

▪ Actually has a pretty broad music taste. Only really dabbled in metal before meeting Larry. (listens to Weezer, Larry shits on him for it but he could care less.)

(Deftones changed his life.)

▫ Sleepwear is strictly flannel pants and whatever top is appropriate for the season. (granted, only 1/3rd of his pants are actually his, the rest are stolen from his dad or Larry /pretty sure there's at least one pair of Todds/)

▪ Goes thrifting with Larry high (hits the bong in the car before going in /not based on personal experience lol/).

▫ Owns two pairs of shoes; beat-up old red converse from highschool and some thick black boots (decorated w chains n junk).

▪ Gizmo has a habit he’s adopted from when he was a kitten of hanging off Sals shoulders like a scarf. When Sal was younger (and smaller) he’d do it to choke the boy but now that he’s a bit bigger, Sal just walks around the apartment carrying him casually.

▫ Skateboards but only at night; he’s a fast learner but he’s also a little clumsy so he falls quite a bit. (to get away from all the stares he and Larry /sometimes the gang/ will just go when it’s deserted. Larry takes the opportunity to smoke and draw large murals/ graffiti art on the courses.)

▪ A relatively safe diver. He’ll need a little help with the blindspots if it’s dark out but overall compared to Larry or Ash, he’s a saint.

▫ He does do drugs sometimes (lmao sorry y’all). It's not as bad as it used to be (and trust me, it was bad) but he’s tried a lot of different substances before. It mostly stemmed from being prescribed a shit load of pain meds when he was a kid after his facial surgery.

(He knows it's terrible for him and that he needs to quit but he aches for temporary quick-fixes to distract himself /he’s self aware and it keeps him up at night).

▪ It didn’t really become a habit until highschool and he did a pretty good job at hiding it from his friends until Larry found him unceremoniously passed out in the bathroom one morning.

▫ Yeah. After that he kind of had to cold turkey it and force himself to detach from hard substances. It's been a while since he’s relapsed and he strictly only partakes in one joint a week with Larry but he’s learned to like the mello feeling of inhaling second hand smoke.

(Kind of why he was originally hesitant about getting on prescription medication for his depression/ that and he hates the hazy numbness that lingers afterwards.)

▪ Refuses to touch alcohol though, mostly because he grew up watching his dad turn to a bottle rather than deal with his own feelings so I don’t think he’ll ever really consider it (kinda also the reason why he’s so grateful to Lisa because Henry improved a lot after moving away from Jersey and getting a new job).

(he isn't sober but he really is trying to be better)

▫ Sweet tooth like crazy but has a knack for sour candies, but like-obscenely sour. (Freak.)

▪ Anemic, this man is literally transparent (sorry). You can see the veins running up and down his wrists tho :) (‘n some of them pop out a little bit/ even more so when he plays guitar).

▫ Cold hands. Skinny-ish fingers, but they’re long and his finger knuckles are a bit bulky. (The skin is surprisingly soft despite the scabbed scars on his knuckles.) (like i said; self improvement at a linear rate or whatever.)

▪ Kind of becomes a workout junkie with Larry towards the end of highschool when he first tried getting off substances. (He can’t really overwork himself because of his asthma at times but he’s learned to enjoy it) They used to go to the public gym but now have a set up in Larry’s room.

▫ Loves beach/lake days with the group, hates swimming/or getting his hair wet. Sure, the idea is fun but the water’s always cold, and his clothes always feel heavy and sticky- no. (the most you’ll get out of him is dipping his feet ‘n legs into the water and that’s it)

▪ Still wears old band-tees from middle/highschool but since he’s a bit bulkier now they fit a lot better.

▫ Has a 200+ photo album of nonsensical twitter posts/memes he giggles at (will send in his new favorites into the group chat monthly)

▪ Slight jersey accent lowkey, was way more prominent when he first arrived at Nockfell. It's drowned out more now, but whenever he’s angry/annoyed, it’ll slip through a few syllables.

▫ Learning how to speak spanish. Lisa and Larry teach him a little bit day by day (even though Larry definitely had a period of time where he was tricking Sal into saying unhinged shit without knowing).

(Sal found out and shot Larry in the face with a water gun shortly after/ now he no longer trusts Larry anytime his brother asks him to repeat certain phrases he doesn’t understand yet.)

▪ (sassy man apocalypse tbh)

▫ Has the kind of ‘tism where he’s obsessed with music. Writes and composes his own songs written in a (diary) journal hidden inside his pillow, but there’s no way he’d actively show anyone else.

(Sometimes when everyone is hanging out together, he’ll play them some chords but refuses to tell them where he heard it from, likes pretending the secret music he makes is some other underground artist he’s gatekeeping lmao.)

▪ Has created multiple playlists dedicated to his friends, gets really into it and then spends hours curating them.

▫ Piercing count : snake bite, 5-10 mm gauges in his ears (i'm not too familiar with the sizing for them but like a pinkie size), two helix and a tragus on his right ear, one helix on his left (he had another but that one healed wrong so he let the hole close up) and two lobe studs above the gages.

(not a piercing but his tongue is forked lol. He’s into body modifications lowkey but only because he’s like there’s nothing worse than getting shot in the face. Lmao sorry.)

▪ (exclusively) wears silver jewelry. His favorite is a ring that was apparently from his deceased grandfather on his mothers side; it’s a thick band with a shiny black diamond encased in the middle (it only fits on his thumb tho).

(wears specifically chunky vintage rings)

▫ He only has sparse patches of eyebrow hair on the side where his scarring is so he cut a slit into his brow on the other side to ‘match’ (Larry did the same thing on his right eyebrow to copy Sal in HS before he got his piercings).

▪ Does wears makeup (it’s only really eyeliner/and sometimes a dark eyeshadow but nothing for his face, his skin is too sensitive and it causes breakouts underneath his mask if worn for prolonged periods/ he has to be careful around his scarred eye too, nothing too close to the waterline or else it might get irritated). Has tried gothic makeup before, in the comfort of his own room.

(One night, Larry woke up to some sounds coming from down the hall and in his half-sleepy ridden state, he nearly shit himself because he thought he saw a ghost. In actuality, it was just Sal coming out of the dark bathroom, face ghostly white with black markings sharpening his features, and the surrounding darkness did NOT help (Larry’s vision is shit. He literally thought he saw a demon again). Sal- (who was sleep deprived, running off three Red Bulls and a pack of cigarettes) only blinked in confusion when he heard Larry's door slam shut because he thought his brother was sleeping already but didn’t think much of it before sluggishly making his way back to his room.)

(nightcrawler Sal who refuses to turn on the hallway light at night when he goes to the bathroom because it’s “a bother”. He thinks everyone’s being concerned for him when they ask him to turn the lights on, when in reality he’s just accidentally scaring the shit out of his family atp.)

▫ Wears black nail polish most of the time but he doesn’t mind other colors, his favorites to use are purple or red.

▪ Has a very intricate spine tattoo that vaguely resembles a thin abstract centipede Larry designed for him (starts from the very edge of his back hairline, reaches down to his upper tailbone).

▫ Owns a display box full of different eye prosthetics. He's played around with a bunch of different colors and fun pupil shapes before but usually just sticks to colors similar to his own eye.

❅ Ash(ley) Campbell.

(kinda sad bc I feel like I don't have enough hcs for Ash :( I looked up as much as I could but there's not a lot of fics/hcs for her. )

▪ Has a younger brother (Benjamin) there's quite an age difference between them (19 and 4 years old). She adores him though, dresses him up every halloween/holiday and has a photo collection of his costumes throughout the years.

▫ Her motorcycle is an old bike gifted to her by her dad when she turned seventeen. That same summer, she learned how to work on it, fixing it up and cleaning out the gears with her dad.

(Ash being one of the only other people in the group that has a normal relationship w/ her parents lmao)

▪ Chronic nail biter so they’re always short. Uses black polish religiously, doesn’t like extensions because they never last long and get in the way (the last time she got them, she ended up chewing through the acrylic/ tastes like actual shit and she swore never again).

▫ She has a spam/private account on every social media page, mostly just live tweets while hanging out with the guys to complain about them (I say them like it’s not mostly Larry doing stupid, loud shit in the butt-fuck middle of nowhere during a ghosthunt).

▪ Post low-grade quality pictures of Larry so people will stop simping for him (it doesn’t even work, they always want more of him).

▫ Loves watching long commentary videos about Reddit forms, her favorites are the shitty two horror story sentences and AITAO.

▪ Has a pet garter snake! His name is Riddler (don't ask, you don't wanna know) but she calls him Ridley. She has a personal preference for reptiles and has owned a few different ones before.

▫ Used to be a theater kid all throughout middle/up till early high school (still listens to Hamilton like it’s her dirty little secret).

▪ Smells like jasmine and kinda earthy(?). Likes the smell of jasmine perfume because it's her moms favorite scent.

▫ My favorite man hating lesbian fr, always putting Larry in his place.

(that being said, they both bring out the competitive side from each other, drinking games are the worst because at that point they’re just trying to see who can withstand blacking out first)

▪ Ash usually only takes photographs but has been dabbling with video recording as of late since she does them for the groups ghost hunting adventures (it’s mostly just to keep track of things and watch for ‘anomalies’).

(The closest thing you’ll get to a group vlog is funny clips she posts from editing the ghost hunting footage.)

▫ She’s kind of a lense/camera freak (like markiplier iykyk), Ash has owned a lot of different cameras over the years and has gotten to know what specific things she might like about them. So now, she’s kind of picky about her cameras- she just wants the perfect pictures fr.

▪ Her walls are lined with polaroids. She likes taking nature shots whenever the gang goes out to explore any woodsy area but most of her favorite pictures are ones of her friends or family. She got her first baby camera when she was like twelve and hasn’t stopped since then so she’s taken A LOT of pictures. There are some in boxes, hidden away in her family's attic, but most of them are inside picture books she’s collected and curated over the years.

▫ Loves the concept of being a plant mom but will literally kill anything green within a 10ft radius.

▪ Not strictly monogamous, she’s pretty open about sexuality and intimacy. (not in a bragging way, but bc she doesn’t think sex is something that you should be afraid of(?) (in moderation ofc).

▫ Has freckles! She mostly only has them on her face but they come out more in the summertime. If it gets hot outside and she wears a top showing skin, you’ll see the speckles of them on her back and chest.

▪ Also not that easy to win over romantically. She’s just having fun for now but she’s not against a relationship (has yet to find someone she’s serious about, but when she does meet someone she's into, she will be upfront about it pretty quickly).

▫ THE girl's girl- she loves women. not even because of her sexuality she just appreciates women sm, and would give the world to make a girls day (even if they’re strangers).

▪ Mapple is her childhood best friend, they met in middle school at theater (maple was more of a tech crew girl tho).

▫ She's not into self-deprecating humor. Especially if you're her friend, she doesn’t like it when people put themselves down, even if it’s meant as a joke she won’t find it funny.

▪ Still has yet to cry in front of any of the boys. She advocates for communication and talking about your emotions but still tries to look strong in front of others. (it's the eldest sister in her)

▫ Her bedroom walls have been the same eye-itching vibrant purple color since she was a little kid. She hates it(?) but kind of loves it(??) so it’s staying for now. Most of her walls are covered in pictures and posters anyway, so it’s easy to ignore.

▪ Confrontational, will address an issue with you if she thinks there is one (it's only bc she cares about her friends, yk? She wants there to be no miscommunication because she thinks it could be easily avoidable).

▫ Piercing count : Has a smiley, a stud on her left nostril, and an industrial on her right ear.

▪ Likes metal but prefers softer-more alternative/indie-rock vibes.

▫ Laser tag god. Her and Larry are pretty on par with each-other skill wise, she’s good strategically and is stealthy/ Larry shoots like a madman but he's fast, puts his whole pussy into full body dodging an attack (there's definitely been times where they decided to team up and take out everyone else to share the prize. 50/50 chance at the end where one might betray the other just to gain an upper hand).

▪ Comfort accessory is her biker gloves; plain-black leather and fingerless. It’s practical for her bike and she thinks they make her outfits cuter (she’s right).

▫ Leftie, learned how to use her other hand but her handwriting isn’t as consistent with her right one. (Larry calls her the double handed devil.)

▪ Has perfected her everyday makeup look, has been doing it since highschool (she used to wear falsies but is now a mascara girlie, chalk it up to laziness tbh)

(Black eyeliner 4ever tho. You could never make her get rid of it.)

▫ Ultimate sleeper build. She’s tall, the third tallest out of the main group and she’s lean too. If she doesn’t wear hoodies or sweaters that hide her figure, it wouldn’t be hard to notice the slight muscles that protruded out with her every move.

(She doesn’t work out as often as Larry or Sal but she still looks so good omg.)

▪ Erm. Also in my AU, Ash is kinda masc(?) she just likes wearing boy clothes because they’re more comfortable and she hates wearing a bra.

(She still sluts it out every once in a while tho, don’t get me wrong.)

▫ Has cut and colored her own hair since early middle school. In her sophomore year, she chopped all her hair off into a really short pixie cut because it honestly felt like deadweight. She’s been wearing her hair short ever since, now she doesn't really let it grow past her chin.

▪ She’s actually gained a few followers online (like A LOT) since she’s so active and is relatively popular. She doesn’t talk to everybody but she’s nice to her classmates and other acquaintances, so people love her.

(Her feed is entertaining to viewers since she’s always out doing something, either by herself or with the gang. Most of the time, she just posts pictures she takes of her friends or parties they go to.)

▫ Started sending in overly dramatic, heavily fonted texts into the group chat after seeing it online. Todd hates it so sometimes the others will copy her and button spam in glittery fonts and emojis until Todd turns his phone onto DND.

▪ Look- Ashley’s known her friends for forever, practically most of her life by now. And she loves them, she really does, but god was she happy to finally befriend another girl other than Maple.

❅ Larry Johnson.

▪ Larry is unlabeled, he doesn’t have any specific preferences. He gets crushes easily but they never really evolve more than that. He’s never been in a committed relationship yet, the longest relationship he had was with Ash in freshman year (they dated for like a week before they realized there was no romantic chemistry).

(they laugh about it now)

▫ Likes to skateboard (has a collection of old boards hung on his wall) and he’s pretty good at it. He broke his nose when he was sixteen attempting a kickflip (drunk) off a stair railing. It healed back a little crooked ever since. (also chipped his right front tooth in the process)

▪ He has a shelf above his bed lined with a miscellaneous bong collection. He's gathered a few over the past year, either gifted to him or bought by friends.

▫ Obsessed with incense so his room always smells like them to cover up the persisting weed scent (an ex-situationship introduced them to him and he just picked up the hobby).

▪ Currently working two jobs, a pizza place and a part-timer at a tattoo shop. He's planning on quitting soon to be a full time Tattoo artist.

(he’s already given most of the gang piercings/or tattoos)

▫ Tats and pierces himself, he can manage fine with getting tats but cringes at any type of piercing needles. (also HATES getting shots) it’s kind of funny considering how many piercings he has but each time he gets a new one, he still acts like a baby about it.

▪ Larry had a stillborn little sister, devastated by her loss; his parents never told him if they had a name planned so he came up with one on his own. Isabella. (sometimes he’ll look at the stars and talk to her, calls her Isa)

(Larry never knew of his dads.. Otherworldly origins but he does feel a pull towards the stars and sky. He finds it funny how they bring him comfort and he doesn’t even know why.)

▫ Strictly only buys watermelon flavored gum.

▪ Got called out by teachers a lot when he was still in school. He’s not a terrible student, and it’s not like he’s trying to be rude; he just believes that people should earn his respect. And it's not hard too, as long as you’re not a dick, Larry’s pretty chill but he’s too laid back and blunt for old people to tolerate (granted, the everlasting weed stench that sticks to his clothes everywhere he goes doesn’t help much either).

(not inclined to listen to positions of authority, other than his mother) (‘respects where respect is due’ or whatever that one guy said)

▫ Type of bro to keep one arm around your shoulder after a hug. He’s already as tall as an oak tree, but since he’s started working out his arms are HUGE. (basically, he gives the best hugs)

▪ Barely cares about his personal hygiene (sorry y’all but trust, he was WAY stinkier in hs) but has an in-depth, weekly hair care routine where Lisa will oil his scalp while he complains to her about whatever drama is going on at work or school.

▫ Lisa waxes his eyebrows too, or threads them (depending on her mood) (which btw he has those perfect 2016 eyebrows istg).

▪ Smells like weed, and faintly of campfire smoke and maple. He has a specific cologne that he’s always doused head-to-toe in (Sally doesn't let him spray it inside the car or else he’ll start sneezing like crazy so Larry has to wait until the drive is over to spray himself down).

▫ Hot tempered. He can easily get irritated by others if they say the wrong thing the wrong way (can control it better if he’s around his friends). But on the off chance someone is messing with say Sal or the girls? Larry’s stepping in like an overprotective mama bear, doesn’t matter how big the other guy is, he’ll still take him on.

(He’s the eldest of the group, and even though he’s usually the one causing trouble or being silly, he still feels responsible for everyone if anything happens (and Larry draws the line when it comes to harassment towards his friends))

▪ After finding bands he likes (if they’re popular enough) he’ll watch movie documentaries/or video essays about the group.

▫ Does, in fact, own a friendship bracelet making kit for when he and his friends are stoned (wears whatever bracelets his friends make for him on his left wrist/ shows them off at work to his coworkers like a proud dad).

▪ Owns a lion stuffie from when he was a child, it’s dirty and tattered (basically looks like a questionable dishrag) but he refuses to let it go.

“His name is King Bart and he will be buried with me when I die.”/ “Dude, what the fuck?-”

▫ Sometimes puts his hair into a braid while he’s painting, other times he’ll just use a claw clip he stole from Ash (pre-lesbian chop).

(doesn’t like it if strangers touch his hair but will let the girls play with it; braid, brush, doesn’t care as long as he can keep himself busy.)

▪ Bad vision, istg he’s always squinting at everything. He isn’t even high; he just can’t see and refuses to wear his real glasses (even though they’re literally sitting on his nightstand).

▫ Has SO many moles and body freckles. His skin is really sensitive to scented products and he has mild eczema. (it’s mostly on his shoulders/upper arms and chest)

(since Yuné has eczema too she’ll help/remind him to apply his ointments)

▪ THE cockiest mf during a game, doesn’t matter if it’s something small or even if he’s absolute dog shit at it. (WILL shit talk you throughout the entire game to piss you off/catch you off guard. but if he ends up losing, he’ll act like he let you win/ ignore the fact he came in last place)

▫ Has a ‘secret’ pet rabbit named Bombon. He still hasn’t told Lisa about her (she literally knows). He originally bought it because he felt bad for blowing up Mrs. Gibson's rabbit but he was too nervous to actually give it to her.

▪ Second to Todd, he’s also a hardcore gamer, he likes horror games/or anything with co-op. The whole gang will get on occasionally but it’s mostly him and todd. (he was an among us fanatic when it first came out/but not in the meme way, it was his special interest for like five months and he forced the others to play with him)

(type of mf that would keep count of how long someone spent at a task station and then accuse them of being the imposter. AND HE WAS RIGHT TOO.)

▫ Into video games but not that big of a fan of general social media. He just doesn’t really think about it since he’s always so busy, doesn’t feel the need to post things unless it's his art or if he and the gang went somewhere together (but will also be the first person to like your post/tweet).

(def has notifications turned on for all his friends)

▪ Always found a way to get a job ever since he could have one. He’s skilled in random things because of the different amount of odd-jobs he’s had over the years.

▫ He also has a motorcycle that was gifted to him from Lisa, originally owned by his dad, so it was pretty old but Lisa wanted to wait until he was a bit older to ride it. (Mostly out of concern for his safety lmao) Ash had to help show him how to clean and get it working.

▪ He usually just drives his shitty Honda accord bc it’s more convenient going to and from his jobs in a real car. But sometimes he and Ash will ride their bikes together.

▫ He’s the type of mf to wear a tee-shirt while it’s literally snowing outside and would still make fun of you?? For being cold???

▪ People might think he's a bit of a troublemaker but he really does care about what his mom thinks of him. It would kill him if he ever disappointed her, they became a lot closer after his dad’s disappearance and he doesn’t want to see Lisa in a state like that ever again.

▫ Chronic head-patter. He towers over everyone in the group (even tho he and Todd are pretty close in size, it doesn’t stop him) so he’s always giving someone a head pat, or keeping an arm around them. He’s just rlly touchy but and doesn’t even realize it, his body just moves that way naturally.

▪ Needs at least two hair ties if he wants to wear his hair up, which is why he prefers claw clips.

▫ He’s helping Sal learn spanish but if anyone asks him to translate a meme that he thinks is actually funny, he won’t tell them what it means (and then he’ll save the picture for later while just giggling to himself).

▪ Piercing count : Has a septum, bridge piercing, two on his left brow, two helix in his right ear and then stitched out gages (his tongue is pierced too)

❅ Todd Morrision/ Neil Douglas.

( I put Todd and Neil together bc I don't think I have enough for either of them, also I see them as an unbreakable pair, cannot make a head canon for one without adding the other. #soulmates)

▪ Todd is a horror fanatic, specifically for sci-fi heavy plots, anything with a lot of technical charm and visual effects. Neil will sit through them for Todd (he enjoys them, yeah) but he prefers shitty rom-coms, though. When they have movie date nights, the two of them will just binge watch Aliens and Neil lets Todd quote basically all the lines (even if they both have the movies memorized at this point).

▫ Neil smells like neroli and freshly brewed coffee/ Todd smells like vanilla and baby powder.

▪ Neil is a coffee enthusiast, but not in the performative tiktok way where he makes a show out of drip brewing, his daily coffee to water ratio intake is insane.

(he also eats those little caramel flavored candies all the time, and keeps at least two in his wallet.)

▫ Todd will drink coffee but only black (like a FREAK), he usually prefers energy drinks but they lowkey taste like battery acid. (Yuné made the mistake of taking an offered sip from his can during lunch and almost hacked all over the table).

▪ Toward their final years of college, Todd and Neil move into an apartment together and invite the gang out to go home decor shopping with them. (candle shopping w them>>)

▫ Todd experiences hand tremors and is epileptic.

▪ Todd is also a part of the eczema gang lmao. Usually appears on the back of his hands or forearms, it's mostly because he likes to experiment around with his inventions and shit gloveless (Todd says fuck OSHA).

(not really, he just honestly forgets and hates the feeling of his hands being suffocated).

▫ Todd is the one in the relationship who has to get the spiders ‘n bugs because Neil will shit his pants if he sees one (one time Neil saw a spider in the corner of Todd’s tub during a shower and he shrieked so loudly Sal even walkie-talkied them to make sure the apartment wasn’t being haunted again).

▪ Bonus: Todd doesn’t even care at all about the bugs. If it’s in his own house, he’s honestly fine with them existing there as long as it’s not an invasive or poisonous species. But he’ll take them outside for Neil, just to get him to calm down (doesn’t quite work bc Todd grabs them with his bare hands and that freaks Neil out even more).

▫ Neil goes to a different school than the gang on the outskirts of Nockfell because that's the closest beauty school (it's about an hour drive from the Addison apartments but he still comes down to see Todd every weekend).

▪ Neil is a cosmetologist, specifically a hairdresser. Todd is currently a psychology/engineering major.

▫ When he’s not coding or making an experimental engineering project, Todd likes to play video games. He’s literally goated man idk. It takes Todd less than a day to become really good at a game.

(Irritates Larry because he’ll literally be the one to introduce Todd to a specific game, only to find out a week later the redhead is significantly better than he is).

▪ While Todd's considered the more quiet one in the group, when he’s with Neil, he never stops talking. Whether it’s about school, or games, or his latest fixated movie series- Neil is a great listener, so it’s really easy for Todd to feel comfortable around him (not that he isn't comfortable around his friends but with Neil it’s different).

▫ Todd doesn’t like needles either but Larry convinced him to get one tattoo so the latter could get his “practice” in ( so TODD HAS A SMILEY FACE ON HIS BUTT IDC).

▪ Neil’s chill with needles, he actually really likes getting tattooed by Larry a lot. Surprisingly enough, Larry’s pretty serious about his passion for tattooing and he makes the experience enjoyable ( included with small talk and snacks).

▫ Neil makes fun of Todd every summer because the redhead is just as transparent as Sal is so he cooks under the sun. Give it like ten minutes before Todd's all red and sweaty- god forbid he shows his arms to the sunlight without some form of protection, he’d literally burn alive.

▪ Neil is the type of boyfriend who’s really sweet and affectionate, likes to do things romantically by the textbooks/ but the way Todd shows affection is by calling him dude bro and doxing anyone that messes with Neil (jk kind of).

▫ Okay, Todd doesn't dox people… but if say Larry was getting pissy over voicechat with some random dick during a game.. All he has to do is send Todd the message and the poor guy will suddenly find his home address leaked in the chat.

❅ General Group Hc's.

(super random but since i was in school i thought about this)

▪Larry has super coarse/thick hair. It’s not tightly curled, but the natural beach waves go CRAZY. (you’d think this man goes to sleep in a roller set omfg) His mom has naturally curly hair but her curls have fallen out over time from heat damage. (Lisa just usually wears her hair up anyways but she has thought about bringing the curls back)

▫ Sal’s hair is pretty fine and straight. (it’s SUPER soft tho). He cuts his own hair with his dads old straight razors. He never brushes it so it keeps its poof shape(?) (if you dump water on his hair he’ll look like a wet cat)

(he’s naturally blond) re-colors his hair every two-three weeks. (also i can’t remember if this is canon or not/ but i hc that since he and his dad aren’t super close, henry decided to color his hair to match w sal/he’s kinda awkward but he’s trying to make an effort)

▪ Ash has medium-coarse hair, it’s pretty straight. (before her big chop) her hair was really heat resistant so it never stayed even if it was curled. In highschool she used to have random strands of colors throughout her head which faded out. (by the time of senior year she cut it all off into a short-short pixie and has been growing it ever since/w some regular trims)

▫ Also side note but Todd has really curly hair but was never taught how to maintain them until he met Neil. Since then Todd and Neil help each other with their hair, Todd’s trying to learn how to do natural/protective styles for Neil (he’s gotten really good at semi- freeform locs bc it’s Neil’s favorite way to have his hair). And Neil will help him detangle and moisturize his hair after a shower while they talk or relax.

(Larry never really felt the need to cut his hair but WAS convinced into getting an under layer buzz cut in sophomore year that he’s currently growing out (around that time he did wear his hair up a lot))

▫ (when she had longer hair) Ash and Larry created a routine of pulling on each other's hair. At first it was an accident, Ash just wanted to get his attention for something and tugged on his hair (it wasn’t even hard) but after that Larry did it back to her in retaliation (MUCH HARDER THAN SHE DID) (he’s so brother core omfg, like a literal menace to society). And then the game just kept going on from there.

(okay, now let's pretend I didn't just spend the last five minutes talking about literal hair. I'm insane, ik.)

▪ Larry likes black licorice, Yuné likes the red kind; Sal and Ash just hate licorice in general and definitely poke fun at the other two for subjecting themselves to it. (i don’t really see Todd being a BIG sweets person but i do think he like sour candies)

▫ Larry and Sal have a tradition where they hangout once a week up in the treehouse alone. They just smoke and listen to music, talking about their shitty days or letting the silence comfort them when things get too much.

▪ Ash forced Yuné into watching Gossip Girl for like three days straight, started off as a ‘go piss girl’ joke Yuné didn’t understand and suddenly they’re three seasons in (i’ve never watched an episode of GG).

(The group has monthly sleepovers, the designated place will rotate between each person’s home but if they’re sleeping at Ashley’s, her and Yuné will force the boys to watch Rupaul's Drag Race w/ them. Larry and surprisingly Todd(?) really like Bad Girls Club/ messy bitches that live for drama tbh.)

▫ Since both Todd and Larry are horror movie connoisseurs (self-proclaimed), the latter likes to propose absurd questions to the group like ‘which movie villain would beat who’ or ‘would you smash freddy Krueger for one night if it meant your insides could withstand his claws’... shit like that.

(And Larry takes his horror movie debates VERY seriously, even if you find better contextual evidence against him, he’s still standing his ground)

▪ Sal runs cold so he’s always wearing socks (white socks only) but Larry refuses to wear them inside the house no matter how cold his feet get. Sometimes he’ll put his cold feet on Sals leg just to bother him (like when they’re playing games to throw him off/or at the dinner table. Usually ends with them ‘playing footsie’ (they’re kicking each other as hard as they can in the shins))

▫ Sally’s chronically online in the way where he likes to scan the internet to save funny, relatable memes/ Ash IS chronically online- but to the point where she knows everything that’s happening right now on each of the forums. Larry’s too busy to be worried about social media stuff but he does enjoy getting the occasional low grade reaction pictures from Sal, and Ash always keeps him updated on any current events on the timeline anyways, so there’s no point.

(Sometimes Ash will talk with brain rot vocabulary and it throws Larry off so hard. But it’s funny watching his expressions afterwards when she tries explaining it to him)

“... that’s stupid as fuck.” / “I know, dumbass. That’s the point.”

▪ (for future reference) Chug and Maple went to uni for about two years before having Soda.

(Woah there. haha i totally did not forget ab Chug and Maple other than this one Hc… spare me..?)

▫ Chug is such a girl dad tho omg. I see him working a blue-collar type of job so he’s also too busy to be chronically online like some of the others. But on the few occasions he is posting, it’s mostly just about Maple and Soda.

▪ Soda is so spoiled because she’s the first kid out of the group, everyone likes getting her gifts and toys. Sometimes if Chug wants to take Maple out on a date, the others will watch her for them.

▫ Travis and Larry used to be close friends as children but got distant after Travis’ dad got worse and Larry’s fathers disappearance. Travis started to take his frustration out on other kids (i see larry as the type to defend others, especially if they’re not the type to fight back) and it caused resentment on both sides.

(Also unsure of which chapter I'm gonna put this in, but Travis leaves Nockfell with his parents right after senior year because the church was trying to spread and migrate around the country to sister organizations.)

▪ Yuné and Ash bake together! The boys can’t cook for shit, save for Todd who only knows a few recipes from his parents (he’s still not really a baker though) and Neil .

(Neil can cook but he’s the type to say he’s going to make something simple and it ends up taking over two hours but the result is a five course meal so it’s definitely worth it. )

▫ But they still like hanging around when the girls bake. Mostly to just watch and mess with shit (Sal’s a good boy only when Larry isn’t roping him into things, and Todd will watch and maybe help with easy stuff like stirring or grabbing ingredients).

▪ Sometimes on rare days when he’s not busy, Neil will come by and he’ll actually help them unlike some people... Larry takes the liberty of eating their creations, and since he’s a FREAK, half the time he doesn’t even wait for it to cool down before he’s shoveling the steaming sweet treats into his mouth like a squirrel saving for winter.

▫ They're not sure why, but ever since elementary school Ash and Larry have always had at least one class together in their schedules. They only became friends in middle school but have been growing up around each other for forEVER.

hello (again) writeblr! i decided to make a new intro that has all my current wips on it, since i have way more than when i first started out on here.

about me

I go by space, my pronouns are they/them, and I’m in my third decade of existence, which is absolutely wild. I’ve been writing for most of it, so I like to think I’m pretty decent

I write mostly fantasy and erotica (sometimes at the same time), both original and fanfiction, and all of it's queer

You know what? I'm going to introduce all my characters! It's not very professional, but how can I share my art when no one knows what is is art of? So here's a basic list of my original characters! (The ones I have art of anyway)

Enjoy!

Victoria Ace:

Victoria is my favorite OC. She started out as a creepypasta self insert but evolved beyond that. She is stuck traveling to different dimensions (different prices of media I like). In most realities, she keeps her memories, but it's different in every reality. Her main goal is to make a life for herself while also not forgetting who she is and was. (Her biggest fear is losing herself and forgetting everything that makes her her)

She's cocky, sarcastic, and a bit reckless, but she is also deeply troubled and understanding of others. And yes, she is a cat girl.

Phil (he doesn't have a last name, suggestions would be appreciated):

Phil is a man struggling through the Zombie apocalypse. His sister died 11 years ago at the start of the outbreak, and he had been aimlessly wandering since. At least until he found Mark.

After getting kicked out of a survivor group, the two of them are making their way to the fabled survivor camp, a camp rumored to have completely rebuilt society. The only problem? Mark isn't being entirely honest about who he is.

Phil is standoffish and rude upon first meeting, but the more you get to know him, the more you realize he just wants companionship and purpose. He's a bit rough around the edges, but at his core, he is a very kind man.

I don't have a design for Mark yet, but fun fact, he used to be the main character of my story before I got incredibly attached to his boyfriend, uh, friend, and made Phil the main character.

Evagline:

This is Evaglin! A fairytale obsessed creature who spent most of her life completely isolated, no plants, no animals, nothing. She spent her days collecting small trinkets and any remnant of the human world. Her favorites are a cute flower necklace, the dictionary, and a partly burnt, big book of fairytales.

Eventually, after years of being alone, Evagline runs into two idiots who accidentally lose their portal travel gun. This allows Evagline to start traveling the universe! Unfortunately, her unauthorized use of portal travel does not go unnoticed by the company the two idiots were working for, and to keep their job, they have to track down Evagline and bring her back to her old, lonely life.

Evagline is sweet and kind, if not a bit neive. She loves learning and starts taking notes on her travels! She also loves art and she makes her own clothes. She communicates through strange noises, which can be understood by anyone, much to their confusion.

She had always wished she could have a knight in shining armor come save her, and to her, the two idiots did just that.

I love Evagline! She's s just a fun little character I made, and I love her so much!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, WE HAVE...

Berry:

My profile picture! Now, it's no secret that I hate the Helluva universe, but did you know I created my own self insert to beat up Stolas and "fix" problems in the show? Well that's what Berry is!

Berry is a creature created by the Angels to "enforce the law" in Hell after Lucifer locked himself away. She was created without morals, so she would do her job without the risk of turning against the angels. She was also assigned two partners. Former humans that were chosen for one reason or another. It's these two former humans that show her the meaning of living, but also just how tight of a leash the angels have her on.

She hates the sinners, and she is very vocal about it. She is incredibly violent and has a punch first question later mentality. And over her time in Hell, she has to learn that not all sinners are as bad as she was made to believe (because in this version, some sinners are actually worth saving). She also falls in love with the Princess of Hell. But that's a story for another time.

She is violent, grumpy, and angry. But with the help of her companions, she might just she able to change for the better.

Her main goal is to beat up Stolas, something she is not allowed to do because of his status.

Berry is actually another dimension traveling self insert, but instead of being one person traveling, like Victoria, she just has alternate versions of herself. And most of the time, she is horrible. (She actually started as a Princesses Jules self insert, made to assure Aria actually faces consequences. Basically, the mean girl stereotype, but who is actually the hero.)

The Lost Tale of the Red Book - The Martyred Mother

This is a temporary title for the rewrite of my current WIP The Lady of Ithilien (posted on AO3).

The decision to rewrite the story comes after a lot of thought and after realizing that I have created too many OCs who would have otherwise no space in the current narrative. The moodboard in this post is supposed to represent the themes of the rewrite, the main ones being sadness, love, motherhood, fighting and death.

They honestly haven't really changed that much. They haven't changed at all, actually. The story was supposed to be borderline tragic from the early days of its conception and it will be so in the rewrite as well. Be prepared for a lot of angst and despair with lighthearted, funny and loving moments throughout.

Info dump (Warning for some! spoilers)

If you have read the chapters of the original story which are already posted on AO3, you will already know that the main character is Elenna "Enna" Tindómiel, the (adopted) eldest child of Faramir and Éowyn.

Fancasts for "Enna": Anais Tinguely (toddler); Billie Gadsdon (childhood until 10); Nehir Ada Trabzon (10-12); Mackenzie Foy (teenage years; roughly 13-19); Synnøve Karlsen (20 years old-her death)

She is what one would call a perfect lady and is betrothed to Crown Prince Eldarion as an infant. Due to Eldarion's...troubled personality, the marriage doesn't last and she later marries Elphirion—heir apparent to Lebennin—and then Eönwë. Oh, and there a little storyline with Mairon/Sauron coming back, which will affect her whole life. No big deal, really.

Changes from the original story

Although most of what I've already written is indeed canonical in my universe, I've recently thought of some changes which I think work slightly better. I will jot any new changes here so that I have everything in one single post.

Her whole arc is about persevering through tragedy and trying to grow as a person, which isn't really easy for her.

She's still the old "Enna" in many ways, she just tries more. She still apologizes at every turn, she still does not understand why Eönwë loves her, but instead of questioning his motives, she just learns to accept that she loves him. She may question them when they're courting, but she does show growth. She eventually relapses into her old ways (her teenage phase) after her children die. She loses hope and has to be persuaded to keep going.

Child and pre-teen: completely and fully innocent and confused. This is, of course, generally speaking. Ioreth starts filling her head with ideas of pomp and grandeur and she becomes a bit entitled, although Faramir, Éowyn and Boromir try to lessen Ioreth's influence on her. Will they succeed? I certainly hope so.

Teenage years: era of abuse, assault, trauma and meltdowns ("original" Enna) with a beginning of character development, but only a little.

Late teenage years: she becomes a bit more confident and dedicates most of her time to being a mom (she loves her children)

Adulthood: extreme trauma comes again (child loss), devotes most of her time to charity and helping others, has new laws enacted, tries to make the world a better place, her peace of mind is fully broken.

MAIN PERSONALITY TRAITS: deeply insecure, very little (nearly non-existent) self-esteem, needs to be reassured, kind, a bit impulsive on occasion, but extremely good at heart. One of the kindest people. She sympathizes and cares for all those who suffer. She's VERY STUBBORN, but not unreasonable.

I've never spoken about it openly, so it's not actually much of a change, but I think her relationship with her mom (Éowyn) is complicated since childhood. Ioreth tells her she is not worth loving and that she shouldn't even bother acknowledging or listening to her. Faramir says the exact opposite. I suppose forgetting about her and choosing to distance herself from Rohan is a natural consequence of that. Elboron resents her because she "left him" and may have learned that from his beloved older sister he loves so much. He has a mind of his own, but he may have internalized that by copying his sister. As an adult, Enna will learn to embrace her Rohan side against (somehow, maybe) because of Princess Idis, whom she helps and corresponds with. Yes, I made up my mind and Idis lives in the rewrite. She exists. She's very secluded and doesn't appear much, but she's alive.

Although the events of chapter 1 do unfold in the same way, Enna does not meet Eönwë in person until FoA 22. He still saves her in FoA 15 when Mairon/Sauron tries to kill her, but she has no idea it is him. She only sees a white, bright light and (maybe) hears his voice. But that's it. I had thought of a very cute scene of Elboron and Eönwë meeting when he's like three or four with Eönwë shape-shifting into an eagle and "taking him to fly" so maybe he meets Elboron not knowing he's related to Enna and that's Elboron that, years later, has them meet. Mmm... that's definitely something to think about. He might also meet several members of the Fellowship.

Maybe they meet in passing and have a few conversations, but it doesn't go past that.

She still insists on marrying Eldarion to gain power to survive but begs Aragorn to speed up to process once she's assaulted by Duinnín, the son of Duinhir of the Blackroot Vale (the same guy who later r*pes one of her daughters and is executed by Eönwë). She tells Aragorn about it but doesn't mention his name (if there's something which hasn't changed is her willingness to protect those who harm her both because it could create scandal, but also because she believes they can be redeemed).

She is extremely traumatized by the Mairon accident but since no one knows about it (unlike in the original), everybody assumes she just lost her mind. She cannot speak of it and bottles everything up. Rumors go around and her mental health goes down the drain. Some people swear that they saw something and obviously the members of the Fellowship believe her. A few weeks later Duinnín assaults her, having heard others that she's easy. By then only Maira sort of knows what she's been through and Enna has full meltdowns. She'll start getting better thanks to her Uncle Boromir the following year.

She still very much has her haughty, condescending moments but she realizes that she's in the wrong and feels extreme guilt about it (she cries, for instance, after raising her voice at people). Her inability to control her emotions (i.e. screaming and crying in a timespan of a legit second) is also due to her "post-Mairon medications"

She also has hallucinations of "a very pretty lady who talks to me" aka her conscience.

She sucks at comforting people. She means well, but...yep. She can't do it.

She actually loves Elphirion. Elendil (OC; Aragorn and Arwen's second son) arranges their marriage (he and Elphirion are childhood friends) and, if in the original story Enna was supposed to be indifferent towards him, she isn't in the rewrite. She loves him (in a friendly way) and they have a good marriage until he dies. The only problem is that Elphirion is constantly sick and Enna still cries a lot.

She is extremely scared of Elphirion at first and doesn't want him to touch her (she starts shaking and trembling when she sees him), but ultimately decides to trust him. She may not love him romantically, but there's that.

Eönwë is her third husband and she has sixteen children by him (counting miscarriages and stillbirths). She also struggles to trust him at first, but she eventually falls deeply in love (he falls first, I think)

She is still concerned about her husbands taking mistresses and sort of accepts the possibility even with Elphirion and Eönwë. She only asks that they are honest about it and not like (teen) Eldarion.

She was originally supposed to favor her boys over her girls, but she really doesn't in the rewrite. She is an all-around amazing mother. She may still be awkward around her girls from time to time, but she loves them wholeheartedly and wants to protect them so they don't suffer as much as she did. She is a truly great mom, but she doesn't think she is and that leads her down a path of...unhappy choices. But she is there for her children when they need her and if she is hesitant it is only because she feels unworthy of their love, not because she wants to avoid them or because she doesn't love. Her children sense that and they will actually have conversations about it. It may take a while (depending what direction the rewrite takes), but they will have those conversations sooner than later. All the snippets where she is hesitant are still valid, but they are to be looked at in a wider context and they will be integrated in a more positive narrative. We'll see how it goes from there. They will still have some disagreements, but I'll try to balance everything out a bit more. As much as I love angst—and, believe me, I do—I feel like it might get repetitive very quickly.

She does have the "Wyn trauma", but it's more due to the fact that she's afraid she's going to turn out like her rather than spite. She's hesitant to build a relationship with her, but she soon feels ashamed about it and, with her oldest children and Eönwë's support, she manages to be a loving mom to her nevertheless. The "favorite child" thing is more of a running joke rather than a factual thing. She may be closer to some of the kids (it's normal in large families, I think), but she loves them all unconditionally.

She still refers to her unborn children as sons sometimes, especially during her pregnancy with Elendur even she's a scared fourteen-year old who knows that only having a son may help her survive. She may even secretly tell Maira (=her maid, bestie and confidante) and Uncle Boromir. It may take a lot of persuasion, but she may eventually admit that, deep down, she wouldn't really care about the baby's gender if it were up to her. It's all Ioreth and society.

Boromir's role in all of this is expanded and he is the one who immediately sees through her façade in situations such as this one and, when she acts stubborn about it, he encourages her to be honest with him and to, essentially, drop the act. More on this in the Boromir Week stuff.

Even during her teenage years, she is much closer to Boromir than Faramir and keeps her father at distance (both not to have him worry about what happens to her and because she feels more comfortable opening up to her uncle since Faramir can't help but see her as a child).

She intends to keep the people she loves away to protect them (especially after Mairon tells her that all her loved ones will die), but Boromir (or maybe Elendil) try to convince her that if they must die, they'll die anyway. That gives her a lot to think about.

Speaking of children, Elendur (her first child and her first with Eldarion) doesn't die at birth. He dies some fourteen years later in a very stupid accident. Although Eldarion was horrible to her, Enna lies to her son about what happened to her so that Elendur can have a good relationship with dad (surprisingly Eldarion tries to be a good father and turns out to be a fairly decent person when he is sober and not controlled by some *hideous tutor*

In spite of Ioreth's abuse and constant nagging, she is extremely innocent as a child. She is still a bit haughty as a teenager, but her façade crumbles quite quickly (especially around people who know her and read her like the back of their hand) and readily admits it is her own coping mechanism to survive. She doesn't like doing it, but she's forced to do it.

As she grows older and is affected by tragedy, she falls back into her childish innocence (as a comfort and coping mechanism) and this trait of hers is exploited by traitors and people who wish her harm (i.e. the redhead as well as others). Her mental barriers are also affected by the personification of her conscience (she may do dangerous things she does not remember because of it, but she mostly cries into her pillow and tries to atone by helping others).

She also no longer values protocol as much. It was her everything as a teenager because it gave her a sense of purpose and a sense of self, but when she gets truly powerful, she no longer values it as much. She appreciates it when people observe it, but she's more relaxed about it. She's obsessed with the Maiarin salute though and would like for people to observe that.

She also becomes more accepting and open to the idea of women remaining unmarried. In the rewrite, she's no longer stuck in her ways, but actually shows growth more plainly and is more prone to listening to others. She is still very stubborn and defends her ideas, but she is a little less stubborn, I suppose.

She also tries to ask for help if she's sick (especially when she's pregnant—it will happen a lot). It will still very hard for her and she'll still feel very guilty about it, but the first step is what matters, right? She will probably try and communicate non-verbally (through her facial expressions, eyes etc), but she tries. It's a gradual process and she has to be coaxed into it, but she tries.

She has plenty of relapses where she thinks everything is her fault though.

The things she cannot/feels too ashamed to talk about she keeps in her diaries, which will be published after her death. Even though she's more open about her struggles, she still won't tell people everything (no one does) and many things will come to light after her death.

Elendil may not die after all. I have come up with an idea of Eldarion saving him last minute and that could possibly be the start of the two brothers mending their broken relationship. But we'll see.

I will be including facts and things I've spoken of in fandom events and one-shots as well.

As I mentioned, this post is ongoing and I will link my OC fancasts here once the character profiles are all complete (hopefully by the end of the year)

I will also link other moodboards For instance, I have here one of the Faramir and Éowyn's home in Emyn Arnen (Enna's childhood home)

This is how I picture Faramir's palace. The main reference is Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy, but I will also take inspiration from other Florentine palaces. I honestly don't know wether their palace will need to be rebuilt as well. In that case, I think Aragorn will give them another place in which to stay in Minas Tirith. That place could be very well inspired by Villa Medici (Rome, Italy)

It was built in white stone (much like all of Minas Tirith) and it has a garden. Éowyn said she wanted to garden so I suppose Aragorn makes her happy.

Enna will leave her childhood home (wether it is Palazzo Vecchio or Villa Medici is still to be decided, but I think it will be Palazzo Vecchio by then) in roughly FoA 13/14 to move to Minas Tirith full time. She will also live in Minas Tirith (or maybe Anórien or Dol Amroth or even Lindon - see, this is why this post is ongoing) while Faramir's old seat at Emyn Arnen is refurbished and made a lot bigger. The new and improved Emyn Arnen (which will become Enna and Eönwë's main residence) is inspired by Topkapi Palace in Istanbul (although some elements from various Medici palaces will remain. Palazzo Vecchio will essentially be expanded to make room for a lot of Maiar and new training guilds will also be built).

Before & After

The columns remain but the general architecture of the place changes a little bit. Some elements do stay the same (fountains and other things).

You know what? I think Enna and Eönwë's "middle" residence (the one they live in while Emyn Arnen is being renovated) might, after all, be in the region of Anórien, of which Boromir is Prince in my AUs. Eönwë and Boromir have a great relationship (you will get a glimpse of it in my One-shot for day 6 of Boromir Week 2025) and I thought it would be cool for Enna to be neighbors with her uncle. Mírion and the other early children from their marriage could very well be born in Anórien/Osgiliath. That would make me very happy. Elenwë need a place to stay and, since Faramir doesn't really like his son-in-law, I doubt Enna would want to return to Ithilien before her new home is ready and her dad is out. Imrahil will definitely try and persuade her to move in a palace close to his, but I doubt that will happen either. And Eönwë certainly wants to avoid Minas Tirith because of Eldarion and other personal reasons. So I think that, logistically, Anórien could be the only suitable place within the Gondorian borders. They could move to Arnor but...it's probably too far. They might have a vacation home there though. So...I guess...Anórien it is! Boromir will be very happy about it. It will be a bit awkward at first, but maybe Enna will reconcile with her cousins earlier than previously planned, and they'll actually get to have a relationship like a normal family? Why am I feeling so merciful today? I hope I won't regret it later. Don't get overexcited though and don't get too hopeful either. The themes in the main moodboard are still valid and she will still suffer greatly. It's the point of her story. She just will probably no longer have to suffer alone and will be more inclined to confide in her family members, especially Boromir and fam. They sort of stop speaking for a few years, but they get on well again once Enna is free of Eldarion, doing better mentally and married to Eönwë, who encourages her to apologize to Uncle Boromir and to mend whatever rift she had with her cousin(s). Again, why am I being so reasonable? So merciful? It's not in my nature. Maybe I should see a doctor.

I honestly think she will genuinely try to speak about her problems—only when prodded about it though—and their relatives will try and encourage her to open up. The change is that, instead of assuming right away that they want nothing to do with her, she will try to open up before her inner voices prompt her to start pushing everybody away because she feels like a burden. But the main difference between the original and the rewrite is that she will make the effort. At Eönwë's explicit request probably, but she will try.

Since I have mentioned Imrahil in my previous point, I just would like to say that Enna and Eönwë do have their official vacation spot in Dol Amroth. Enna's health is not great (to put it mildly) and she often goes to Dol Amroth in the hopes of getting better (y'know, the warmer climate and such). Their residence in Dol Amroth is based on the Miramare Castle in Trieste, Italy

Enna is friends with Erchirion and Amrothos and is godmother to the the young lady Erchirion and Iorlas adopt. She'll be spending a lot of time with her and will see a lot of Erchirion (and Iorlas). They're a couple (the idea, as far as I know, is originally by @lucifers-legions,so she gets the credit for bringing them together).

Enna will also be vital in ensuring that she gets legally recognized as their daughter and heir (while, at first she is against female succession, she changes her mind later on. It's all part of her character development. At the beginning she is purely against it because...it's against the law. She is not opposed to women ruling per sé, but the law states otherwise so that's her line of thought. She follows the law to a t and doing something which contradicts the WRITTEN LAW is outrageous to her. No spoilers, but you'll get a taste of it in my One-shot for day 7 of this year's Boromir Week).

Her interacting with Imrahil's sons is a change of plans, since I had previously thought she would have no interaction with Imrahil's boys whatsoever. Things do change quite fast, apparently.

I am almost fully set on Château De Chenonceau as Elenwë's residence in their early years of marriage.

Enna loves flowers (roses, lilies and tulips especially) so she'll have a field day in a garden such as this one. Château De Chenonceau for the win? I came across some wonderful Irish castles as well, so I might pick one of those as well. All castles are so pretty.

I wonder what (my) Ioreth will do now that both Boromir AND Eönwë would could potentially kick her out if she oversteps the line. Unless Ioreth only comes back when the revamping of Emyn Arnen is complete and Boromir is longer there to help protect her. See why this post will need further updates!?

I haven't really thought about it that much, but I could see Boromir living in a palace similar to a Medicean one (Sean Bean was in Medici so it would make sense. Nice touch there), but also in a French palace like Versailles or one of the Loire Castles. The Archbishop's Palace of Alcalá De Henares could also be a good reference. I feel like eventually it will be up to his wife 🤣 I'll update this post once again when I have Idhrildin's personality figured out and I have her choose her own house. Boromir is an army man, everything sounds good to him and I headcanon he's not really helpful when dealing with this kind of stuff.

I do like the idea of Boromir and Eönwë being neighbors though so I guess I'll just google whatever Loire Castle is closest to Château de Chenonceau and then add elements of Idhrildin's personality to it. Lis also helps with decorating so I guess she'll have a say in it, too.

Based on a quick Google search three Loire Castles that can be visited on the same day are Chenonceau, Cheverny and Chambord. So, I guess Boromir will get either Cheverny or Chambord? Boromir doesn't strike me as someone who likes opulent things and Cheverny seems to me a little smaller compared to Chambord. But then again, Boromir is the literal Prince of the fief so...if he doesn't live in a grand house, who does? Maybe Chambord is the Osgiliath place and Cheverny the Anórien one? Chambord is the main residence and Cheverny is his wedding gift to Idhrildin which is later turned into headquarters for her charities? Idhrildin, please a decision. You pick otherwise I'll just let you have both castles.

More to follow! (I'll update this post in the following weeks and months until I start working on the rewrite later in the year). I'll update it with several other moodboards and details (and possibly a new title). Other title ideas I've come up with for the rewrite are: A Golden Era, The Golden Era, The Forgotten Tale Of The Fourth Age and A Brief Golden Moment.

I personally think the one I put at the top of the post is still my strongest option, but we'll see. Being a mother is a major part of Enna's identity (she loves having children and loves being a mom) and she's a martyr because...she goes through a lot of things. I think it fits. Mother is also a title to her. Her children call her Valide, which does indeed mean Mother in the Valarin tongue (I am basing it off Turkish) and one of the many titles she is bestowed upon once she marries Eönwë is the title of Validem (=my Valide). That's a title that belongs to Varda as well and that's what the Maiar call her. Just like Varda, she is everyone's mother now. So, Validem is the title and Valide is Mother or Mom.

Please, don't forget to send in more fic requests so that I can develop these points and get the hang of them before I actually start the rewrite! I feel like there's nothing worse than setting one's mind onto a new course and then falling back into old habits. Send in anything! Especially Dol Amroth content (yes, I'm currently obsessed with Dol Amroth and I feel like my obsession won't be subsiding anytime soon. Not going to lie a fic with Enna and Erchirion and maybe even Iorlas would be great. I came up with this thing that they're close and now I need to develop it. I might even introduce their daughter 🫢 she might be Erchirion's daughter and then Iorlas adopts her.

Plot twist: Elendil survives his assassination attempt and Erchiriorlas' daughter (her name is Ellerian) marries him.

Maybe they don't get married because he dies anyway, but they have a brief romance. He may pull an Aragorn because he feels guilty of something or he feels like he's betraying Enna or whatever.

About Erchiriorlas...family drama in Dol Amroth or should I just have them conduct a secret affair and they become public after Imrahil dies? Or Erchirion doesn't really care what his dad thinks and does what he wants? It'd be a first in my writing. Erchirion is not Imrahil's heir anyway, so I suppose he's sort of allowed to do whatever he wants? Ugh. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Have had some people ask this in the past- which is no issue! I’m going to make a clarifying post here, though:

No, I do not have set sexualities for any of the characters in my comic.

The canon of this AU is consistent of straight pairings (since most of the ships follows the parents of the main cast or me shipping Ellie with the random band of guys that follows her around) but I personally do not care who you ship. The only canonical queer pairing as of this moment is Wilting / Ed.

A large part of my refusal to name sexualities is that I would rather not risk anyone gatekeeping pairings just because it doesn’t fit a character’s sexuality. No issues against anyone who does confirm these for their fictional little dudebros! Do what you want with with your universes and stories, I’m just explaining where I’m coming from here.

I do not give a flying stick who you ship (within reason, of course! Ellie and Carol are related. Suave is a monster.). While my personal wishes are that people avoid shipping Lefty and Ellie- as I see them as family and with a slightly sizable age gap- I do not actually give a flying stick about that either.

However, this applies to my characters and my interpretations of canon characters only. Respect the wishes of the owners of any OCs featured in this comic! For example, Wolf (owned by @oreothefox715) is a lesbian. Brutus (owned by @smoresthehalloweenqueen) and Gabriel (owned by @icilarastudios) are both pan. Please respect their wishes as far as how you treat their characters goes!

TLDR: CoR characters do not have set sexualities unless they are fan OCs, in which case please respect the wishes of the creator.

(long post up ahead)

Alright, it’s close to bed time, so imma share my most recent fanfic idea that’s eating at my head. Will I ever get to write it? Not any time soon - but I’d like to someday.

But anyway, for a little context first. When I was in high school, before Dragon Ball became my hyperfixation, I was obsessed with Danganronpa. It was a murder mystery game/anime where sixteen students were trapped in a high school setting, and the only way they could leave is if they murdered each other. But not just do the murder - they had to get away with it too. The other “classmates” needed to investigate the crime scene, do a “class trial”, and vote who was the culprit. If they voted correctly, only the culprit would be executed - brutally. If they guessed incorrectly….then *they* were executed, and the culprit goes free.

With me so far? Good. Now for the actually fanfic idea.

The story would be sixteen villains of the DB universe would wake up in an unknown location - maybe a type of prison or something, I have yet to decide. And these villains would be banished at that location as punishment for their crimes. Their only chance at escape? You guessed it - kill one of their own and get away with it.

Along their torturous “journey”, friendships will form, enemies will be forced to work together, and of course plenty of super tragic, tear jerking deaths (seriously, there are SO many deaths in Danganronpa that’ll make you wanna cry). It’d be a way to bring some redemption to these villains, and develop their characters better.

I’ve done a similar fanfic before in high school, except all the “classmates” were different characters from a variety of anime. I even added illustrations, which was easier since it was on Wattpad.

But yeah, that’s my idea. I don’t know what I’d call this yet. And I’d need a big cast of characters too - sixteen to be exact. Trust me, it helps pace the story (characters die quickly). So far I have the obvious choices: Frieza, Frost, Zamasu, Cell, Cooler, Baby Vegeta, probably Kid Buu. I’m also open to other characters like Janemba and Z Broly. I’m not including ex-villains, like Vegeta, since they’ve already redeemed themselves. Degusu is a possibility, but I don’t know enough about him yet. Hit could be possible, although he’s more of an anti-hero, not a villain. And I’d prefer not to add any OCs in this story. Just cause it’ll be easier that way.

And every Danganronpa story has a main protagonist - the one leads investigations, and usually guides everything smoothly. Frieza could be an “obvious” choice. But I also wonder if I should add *one* OC as an insert protagonist instead - specifically, my sona, Icee.

Anyway, that’s my silly fanfic idea. Tell me your thoughts on it. Who knows, maybe I’ll start on some outlining on it if enough people are interested.

I made an oc for a story I was writing together with a friend back in like 2020/2021. This oc lived in a world with a magic system loosely based on the idea that making a deal with some powerful entity could give you the ability to access that entity's magic. She had a very contentious relationship to magic because of how she attained it, which was for the most part a mystery to her as a deal had been made on her behalf before she was born. A lot of her practicing magic was based in made-up rituals she adapted to meet her needs, not necessarily something she was taught or that was a universally accepted way to *do* magic.

Since I can't really use that oc anymore for a number of reasons, I wanted to take some of the concepts I found interesting about her and apply them to the Werewolf Story. In this new story, magic is a little more fickle. The "werewolves" here are supernatural in nature, so it's implied that there is, to some extent, magic in the world. But no one is slinging around fireballs.

Instead, I wanted to write a character (still somewhat unnamed, but I've been calling her Jackrabbit in my head) who *believes* in magic whether or not it necessarily exists in any tangible, malleable way. She meticulously keeps to her rituals with the belief that they ward off harm and strengthen her. She understands certain actions to be spells, to achieve a certain end even if that action is simply: brew a special cup of tea to calm bad emotions. And as long as these rituals are kept, she feels secure, whether or not the "magic" has any real effect. She believes it does, and so it does.

The main conflict of the story, however, serves to disrupt those rituals and upend her sense of safety in them. Shaking not only her own security but her faith in this magic she's believed in, and if that sounds like a metaphor for something, well yeah, yeah it is actually-

Hi heres part one of me yapping about my OC's

Tw for VERY brief mentions of depression, mental illness, suicide, drugs and alcohol (also religious themes and stuff to do with gods)

Filippa, Xanthi and Katia :

Filippa :

Inspired by hinduism, in this universe there are three gods: The creator, the mother, and the destroyer. Filippa is the creator, she is the one who created everything, including the other gods. Gods work a little bit like volcanoes, they have three states : Active, Dormant and extinct. Active is pretty much the regular state where they are free to use their powers whenever they like, dormant is when they are in a coma-like state (they can wake up but this happens when a god is close to extinction so it's not very likely), and extinction is basically the equivalent to death. Because of how old Filippa is and the fact she used up most of her power creating the earth, she is dormant and has been in this state for a very long time. Knowing she likely wouldn't wake up, she created her younger sisters, Xanthi and Katia to take care of things for her. Most stories portray her as a kind and caring old woman but no one is for sure certain what she was actually like or why she created earth in the first place.

Xanthi :

Xanthi is the second God and he is the mother, known as such because he was created to take care of the universe and care for all of its inhabitants. But without Filippa to keep him in check he pretty much does none of that, instead treating earth as free entertainment, not necessarily getting involved with anything unless everything completely goes to shit. Imagine somebody layed back on their couch in the dark eating popcorn and chuckling at their television and that's basically what he's like. So he doesn't really do anything bad but he doesn't stop bad things from happening. In human stories however, he is portrayed as a fierce warrior and protector of the earth, which only really fuels his ego. Yeah anyway god is a he/him lesbian

Katia :

Katia is the main focus of our story here, the other two are fairly irrelevant for the most part but it's important to introduce them anyway. Katia is the third god, the destroyer, called that because she's eventually going to destroy the world when the time comes. She also has the job of wiping out humanity if everything goes completely wrong but she hasn't had to do that yet. She is the youngest of the three gods and also incredibly immature, she gets bored very easily (since she's only allowed to use her powers in very rare circumstances) and decides to entertain herself by causing trouble on earth and ruining innocent people's lives for funsies. You might be wondering why Xanthi doesn't just stop her and that's because 1) he doesn't care 2) if he confronts her about it she will throw a tantrum and most likely destroy the universe which he really doesn't want. She mainly targets very disadvantaged, depressed people with nowhere to go in life that are usually on the brink of suicide and introduces them to a little thing called ✨crime✨, stuff like drugs and alcohol and violence etc. So she has this little cult of blood-thirsty mentally ill people basically. Another way she likes to have fun is by finding random people on the streets, showing them things beyond human comprehension and watching them go insane. But yeah that's Katia she is just the most evil character I could come up with and she is my silly i love her

vikki and glume have the most lore out of my ocs (for all my current ocs)

even ocs within their universe arent as fleshed out! all the ocs and some of their spoiler-free info are on my art fight page, but all of my current ocs are linked into one universe so heres a ranking of how much lore each character has:

1 - Vikki

this girl definitely has more lore considering her ghost seeing abilities adding onto her character

1 - Glume

being the main protagonist of the universe she almost ties with vikki with how much lore she has. but since vikki has supernatural powers i think shed be considered to have more but these two are at a. lose equal tbh

3 - rose and edric

will not give any info on their roles in the story but they definitely have their own story i have thought out

4 - nancy and eleanor

youve seen nancy on my art fight but she has a supporting story as she was the previous wife of edric, but she doesn’t have too much lore and is just simply mentioned in the comic (thats as much as ill say regarding her). as for eleanor, you’re all just hearing about her today but to prevent spoiling my own comic before its even published… ill just say she has a backstory lol

5- eli

i hate him but think hes so silly at the same time. hes not spoken too much about in the comic but does have a few appearances, i’ll definitely make minicomics with him but despite not much being said about him in the book he actually has a history with glume and an entire profile on their equivalent to twitter where he posts about being an “alpha male” unironically. no, he cannot name 5 soap brands.

hes a dead sassy asshole who has a backstory of his life that isnt really explored in the comics besides a small summary since he isnt too important plotwise. but again, along with the other characters with little appearances i might make minicomics oitside the book for him.

7- summer

little is explained about her life besides her occupation and a reference to how she died

8- violet and kevin

more character new to the public but they have a bit of lore and these kids wont be featured in the book but if theres a book two i might add them in. honestly they were made after i finished writing out the full story, i just wanted to expand the universe for funsies yk

9- anne

i feel bad this queen is so low on the list since i love her but i havent thought of a proper backstory for her. all i have is shes glumes sister and is used to kinda bring out glumes character more and is a supporting character. her backstory wouldnt even be relevant in the story as shes a background/sligh side character, but she still deserves one (all the characters that remain vague on lore do)

no this is not hanako, in fact, this dude is not even close to being as cool. i cant say much but theyre bland and you only hear about their death. theyre yet another character that is new to the public.

for those curious about the current state of Paranormal (my comic), i’ve decided to do all the bases traditionally. i filled two sketchbooks with a rough draft, but now im working on the actual comic itself on a new sketchbook. its fairly small so once i finish it, ill transfer that book to digital, then get new ones of the same size, and work on the comic segment by segment. honestly itll make the process seem smaller than it is so ill get done faster (i think idk). but so far im moving fast and the style changed again. i might post a sneak peak on here.

Since I'm completely out of the loop; what's the deal with all your Tavs and Durges? Who are they? What are they like? Do any of them belong in the same timeline?

(Basically go ham and tell me everything, I wanna knooow)

I have the basic rundown of my main three OCs in my pinned post but I'll also give you the lowdown on everyone under the cut because I looooooooove yapping

SO I got five Tavs/Durges, but I do way more with the first three than the other two. Briar and Ferox are durges and Molli, Myrala, and Poppy are tavs.

Briar is a spore druid and full evil. She finds her urges to be the only thing that gives her a purpose and identity, ESPECIALLY after the lobotomy memory wipe leaves her with practically nothing but the urges left in her head. She loves manipulating and messing with people and is just the wooooooorst I love her so much. Loves mold so so much. She also loooooooved being a toxic messy bitch with Gortash >:3

Ferox is my redeem durge. He's an oathbreaker paladin (broke his oath pre-tadpole when he durge murdered his wife). He's fuuuuuuull of guilt and considers himself a monster and is constantly yearning to be someone different but feels like he can't (spoiler: he can!). I still haven't actually uuuuh played him past the prologue yet but I'm probably gonna have him romance Lae'zel

Molli is my most self indulgent oc and a blatant self insert. She's a silly little guy! A bard who made a warlock pact while panicking and trapped in the nautiloid. Also she used to be held captive by Gortash because uuuuuhh don't worry about it. Normal reasons. She's got two alternate romance paths -- either Karlach or Astarion depending on whether she leans towards her good ending or her bad ending.

Myrala is actually Ferox's dead wife! I loved her so much I decided to make an AU where she never meets him and thus doesn't get durge murdered. She's a cleric/rogue. She grew up as a street rat thief in Menzoberranzan (lost her hand as punishment for stealing) until she hit rock bottom and converted to Eilistraee and fled to the surface. In her tav AU she moves to Baldur's Gate to try and establish a branch of Eilistraee worship there and help out drow refugees and stuff but she has a haaaaaaard time of it because of discrimination from the citizens and apprehension from the refugees who low-key believe that Lolth is gonna strike them down if they openly switch religions. She swore off stealing when she converted, but things are getting so difficult that she's getting a little tempted to take Nine Fingers up on her recruitment offers... And that's roughly where she's at when she gets tadpoled. She's gonna romance Wyll!

Poppy is my last tav and the least specific to BG3 because she's actually an old D&D character of mine but I am DETERMINED to play in BG3 eventually because this is exactly the type of BS she'd get pulled into. She's mostly a rogue with like one or two levels of ranger (in D&D proper she was the scout rogue subclass but we don't have that here). She was raised by a group of misfit outcast mercenaries that all treated her like their adopted daughter (her mom was the group's resident weaponsmith). At round about 17 she left the group to go "find herself" and is essentially traveling as far and wide as she can. She has the vibes of someone taking a gap year to backpack around Europe but she's been doing that for like 7 years. She also collects surrogate parents like playing cards and is going to LOVE Jaheira and Minsc so so so much.

Officially their "canon" universes are all separate, but I love to throw around aus in my head all the time. Particularly with Molli crossing over with either of my durges, because her past with Gortash means that she would recognize them and that changes A LOT of things.

OC Questions per wife's request

i can't deny my wife, guys. i can't. I'll probably do a mix of Perseus, Liliane (non-spoilery) and Lina. very Long post below cut.

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)? / 2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?

For Perseus, he was made with backstory and character sheet in mind (as he was a D&D character). Since he was the brother of another player's character, we ended up making a few decisions together - I think we decided pretty early on that we were going to go with forenames from Greek mythology (and same for the shared family members of our backstory) and we exchanged backstories, tweaking bits to fit with what the other person had written. I enjoyed it so much and Persy remains one of my favourite OCs ever, even after almost five years.

For Liliane, I struggled a lot to come up with her. I ended up starting with her class (again, she's a D&D character) which I then tried to think about how I could make it space/spelljammer themed. I immediately stuck to stars as a running theme and focused in on them HARD.

For Lina (skyrim oc), I think I actually started out in the character creator, just messing around to see what I liked. I ended up really liking the idea of her having shaggy hair and then the details started falling into place. I realised she was a very "average" looking person and thought it would be nice to write her as very normal and well-adjusted, unlike most of my other tes OCs.

3. How did you choose their name?

As I said, Perseus was named from a shared decision but I originally chose Perseus because I planned to have him use a shield. That's it.

For Liliane, I actually named her after a character from a manhwa called The Little Lady Behind The Scenes. I had joked about doing a french accent for my character and I really liked how Liliane rolled off the tongue in it. For her surname, I was referencing Joan d'Arc/Joan of Arc.

Lina.... Her full name is Pauline Dupont. Originally, it was meant to be Dumont because her family were from a village near the mountains... but I kept writing it wrong and by the time I realised, Dupont had already stuck in my mind. There wasn't any particular reason behind Pauline as a name, other than to be shortened to Lina (which I just liked the sound of).

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

For Perseus, it was likely his time with the templar order. It shaped SO much of how he behaved early on, to the repetitive attempts at getting things right to his view of himself as a not-special person, no different from any other soldier.

For Liliane, it was (obviously) her time with her fellow acolytes at the Vigil. I can't say too much because my wife is RIGHT THERE and she's got to crack Liliane's secrets out in-game.

As for Lina, I would say her time away from the College was the most impactful. It was where she discovered just how valuable Restoration was as a school of magic, especially during wartime.

5. Is there any significance behind their hair color? / 6. Is there any significance behind their eye color? / 7. Is there any significance behind their height?

Perseus was meant to be rather... average looking? So he got dark hair and brown eyes. He was meant to blend in with the crowd/background characters. He's tall because I am not tall and I like to live vicariously through my characters.

Liliane has golden eyes for... story significance. I gave her dark hair for a bit of contrast in her design and I don't remember how tall she is.

Lina also got dark (brown) hair because I wanted her to blend in with the crowd. However, she got green eyes because... honestly, because they looked really pretty in the character creator. It ended up becoming one of her main colours. As for her height, she's quite tall for a breton due to her Imperial lineage. Still short compared to most nords though.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story? / 9. Are they based off of you, in some way?

For Perseus, I'm not sure. I was in a pretty bad place mentally at the time and eventually that leeched a bit into some of my out-of-game interpretations of him. By the time the game came to an end, I was doing a lot better - as was Perseus. So I think that in a way, I relate to him from the perspective of someone who found meaning in life through the people around them.

Liliane gets my religious trauma. That's it :)

10. If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?

Liliane is probably the only one I can answer about this. There are two potential romances with players that could happen. However, I made her with a very key concept in mind that absolutely clashes with both of those players. It was unintentional, I swear.

11. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?

I always knew Perseus was going to be bisexual, purely because I myself am bi. And I knew I didn't want to limit potential for romantic or sexual relationships.

Liliane is... complicated. If you asked her, she would say "Eh, I am, of course, straight. Why would you think otherwise?" and she wouldn't even realise she was lying. We're two sessions in and she is so violently in the closet that I can't really say for certain what her sexuality is. A lesbian? Bi? What about when gender comes into it?

Lina is... probably straight. I could see her being the kind of person to experiment with her sexuality as little bit (since what else are you meant to do in Winterhold as a teenager?) and realised that she wasn't into women.

12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?

Body hair for Perseus. I hate the detail work but it feels wrong to see him without any body hair. After that, it's his scars. I feel like I'm never consistent with them.

Liliane... her overall design. I didn't have a strong concept for how she should look initially - she was originally going to have a mature face with sharp edges and a soldier-like look. But it didn't feel right and I kept thinking about her having a rounded babyface. The juxtaposition between that and her supposed purpose with the Vigil are really interesting, I think. She's very young, in many ways, despite being an adult.

Lina... hm. I think also her scars. She has a burn scar on her arm and it's still a learning curve on how to draw them.

13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?

Perseus is the only one this is relevant to at the moment. I do have an idea for what he'd do after the campaign and have actually written a few scraps down for the years following the end of the campaign. He'd likely go searching for Aegis, who went missing shortly after the campaign's end, with Yesriel by his side. Even if he gave up temporarily, he'd eventually resume the search as many times as it took. Outside of that, he'd start up a smaller sect of the templars focused on the templars who became corrupted/tempted by Caedis and have them work on redemption and freeing themselves from the god's contracts. He would 100% be fighting the "Lumen's Champion" allegations and constantly insist that he's only holding onto the sun god's two artifacts until the actual champion comes along.

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

Perseus:

He will do anything for his (chosen) family.

He easily gets swept up in a good time.

Liliane:

She wants to believe in the Vigil and its teachings.

She wants to be good.

Lina:

She is not an adventurer by any means.

She will compartmentalise every emotion until she cracks.

15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?

Perseus is tomato soup boy. Also sword go thwack.

Liliane... has little to no filter. She tries so hard but it rarely works out.

16. What is something about your OC can make you cry?

Sometimes I think about Perseus and how he turned from this depressed little man who I wanted to kill off into one of my most cherished characters that inspired so many pieces of art and writing, as well as introduced me to so many awesome people. It makes me emotional.

Liliane knows so little. It's like she's grown up in a tiny little fishbowl her entire life and was suddenly thrown into the ocean. She doesn't even realise that the apex predators are back at home in her tiny little bowl.

17. Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?

I think the only thing I regret (and even that is a strong word) is that I would often talk about Persy with a certain player in that (large) game and we discussed an AU where our characters would get together and it ended up being that every conversation about Perseus with them ended up being about shipping our characters together, even when outside of that AU.

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?

With Liliane, it's really her ability to just ramble. I know part of that is me nervously rambling while caffeinated but it's so fun to do it as Liliane.

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

Perseus is a good singer. He doesn't often have reason to sing but his voice is deep and resonant and loses a lot of its scratchiness while talking. He's one of the few characters who I actually have a voiceclaim for: Nathaniel Howe (voiced by Simon Chadwick) but slightly pitched down.

Liliane would have a strong tolerance to alcohol if she actually drank. She didn't realise that cocktails were a mixture of ingredients until recently. I think she'd like the idea of cocktails but doesn't yet realise that you can make them without alcohol. Also she can't swim.

Lina likes to walk around with a very meagre attempt at disguising herself (which somehow always works due to her mostly plain appearance) so she can listen in on the city gossip. The Thieves' Guild often try to convince her to do more work for them (which she waves off because she "already almost got expelled once" despite that being years ago and her now being a teacher at the College).
