It's done! The final piece of my Dinluke big bang collab with the most inspiring @coriesocks! The whole wonderful and heart warming fic is up already so go go read I know places (where we can hide)! (This piece is for chapter 7!)

Like I get tarping a bed (bed is square, tarp is square) if there’s gonna be watersports type activities but if you care about the couch then don’t fuck wet on it! WHAT is this in-between putting a small tarp down for the hoes situation. They weren’t even that oily.

OUR DOG WAS ON THE OUTER PART OF THE WINDOW????
#there's a hole where the tarp is because unfortunately our cats go outside (i have no say in this family doesnt listen to me) and they claw#through it if the door isnt open#ANYWAYS THIS BIG ASS DOG TWICE THE SIZE OF THE CAT WHO DOES IT WIGGLED HIS WAY THROUGH IT AND WAS STUCK????#well. he wasn't actually stuck he was able to get back in just fine but he sure as hell made me think he was stuck#we have to get a new tarp for the window soon because obviously duct taping the area over and over again is not working.

#📗 my post#🧯 overhalliday (s/i)#yeah ummm yeahn . hey . theres a lot in here let me divulge in the tags#hes supposed to live in like a town thats pretty Scrunched In with buildings kind of surrounding the place so the debug building behind#is supposed to mimic the back alley area that he uses for all his scraps && parts. really id imagine at some point he put a tarp over it#so metal doesnt rust && whatnot . but theres not really a way to do that i think in the sims#the bathroom being right where the stairs are is both a) bc i wrote that in a fic b) sometimes houses are dumb okay we cant all win#there isnt an operating table apparently?? so im using a lounge chair as a stand in and honestly it works well#really if i wanted to i wouldve added like soo much more clutter because he is. not the most organized#ftr i think like every sims bed has a headboard and he DOES NOT have that hes got a bed frame and a mattress that is IT!!!#^ not every sims one . the ones that dont talks abt...bed bugs. which . ew#and for the record also i think his place is only unique in the sense that you walk in and theres a workshop . exterior wise theres#probably like a bunchhh that look the same as youre walking down . all scrunched together#i actually donthave a set place in mind that he lives i just know its like. a Town#a town that doesnt have a hardware store . so he takes a train if he ever needs supplies & it takes abt 10 minutes to get to the city#so hes not like. Cut Off per se but the locals definitely know his deal enough#idk looking at it and imagining a bunch side by side makes me think of likee. like. norway? <- my biases it was like the 2nd thing i google#it would be nice to live by a bunch of water#but also im . i dont know anything abt architecture this very easily could read as somewhere in america or something like that#idk but in my head it snows a lot there thats like all i have thought out

but yea me and my sister had this "game" where we smothered pillows on each other's faces and sat on it and screamed it was fun
#and ok this may have freaked my friend out but she was a neighbor who was in the same school and around my age#so we played barbies except one of the topics on the roleplay was kidnapping and hostage#and hit and runs#honestly thats actually normal ive never seen kids playing with dolls and do something like tea parties#w my ate it always ended with family drama#so anyways the neighbor girl we would roll each other in tarps and beat each other snd spin them#speak iza#i am not making this up btw its only now i realized how not normal it was#but it was fun yes

Gripped with the urge to do intense backyard DIY I've never done before (I have not done ANY backyard DIY before) at...checks watch....1 am
#ramblings of a lunatic#i wanna set something up for a cool movie night w/ my friends that'd involve tarps and projectors and stuff#and i have a mental image of it in my brain but it'd take help from my dad to complete#but a) he is constantly busy b) i love him and normally our relationship is good. but he made me cry a little today#and bc i don't actually get to be angry that often in this house i am- in fact- going to hold a secret grudge for the next two weeks#as this is the only coping mechanism I have#this is bad#i know#ANYWAY#how hard can it be to get one of your siblings to drive you to the local hardware store and back so you can buy wooden supports and a tarp#not that hard right???

Why are all the camping resources pushing light weight gear so hard?
I swear every third rec list i see is telling people if you hike with more than 15lbs of stuff your back is gonna explode and die
#i think ultra light camping is cool as shit but everything i see for it is like $100 tarps#when you can just go buy a 10x10 and the hardware store and some paracord#for like $20 at the hardware store#im exagerating i dont think any of the tarps are actually $100#but i would not be surprised

people discovering steven universe in 2023 are always like "this show is really good why the hell were yall so weird about it"

'idk about yall but i like SU. even SU future????'#the ending of the su was mehh with redeeming the diamonds when i feel like there should be some distance btwn steven and the-#-sisters who were all in an abusive cycle--including his own mother--#but like. also. its good to talk to people. even if their lives and opinions clash with yours. Andy is a great example#i actually liked Rose Quartz and her relationship with Pearl. the whole revolutionary knight falling in love with their leader is my thing#plus. Rose didn't even see pearl as a slave like what most ppl think. It was kinda funny to see the hate for rose just bc her arc reversed#SU is like rose quartz. did as good as it could with what it had at the time#i was listened to a thing that brought up some valid points but there was one point abt Steven treating the others like crap to-#-find out abt the diamonds and like. yeah. 1) he's gonna be a little jerk bc kids are little jerks and 2) He's a kid who wants to know-#-more abt his family. his bloodline?? like. we don't bash adopted kids for wanting to know their bio parents of kids who seek the advice of-#the show gave me so much comfort as a child in a family of immigrants and it was NICE to see a kid's concerns get taken so seriously-#-despite their small problems in the grand scheme of things bc I sure as hell didn't have that until I reached a crisis point in highschool#anywho. enough projecting#steven universe#tarp tarp
