Shafted = fucked over
I wish to emphasize that i did not wish to demean the message that women shouldn't be age gaped for employment in the entertainment business, since women are just as capable of acting throughout all ages of life, same as the men counterpart that had severe examples of favoritism.
What made me put my previous statement out there was that "first". It's obvious that it is harder to look for men being discriminated for their age in the acting business, but to say that there were no previous examples would be reaching too far.
Looking at the entertainment industry, i am starting to feel that only those that can keep up their public popularity beyond an arbitrary age limit, would be the ones allowed to thrive in the industry. Of course i agree that women get the worst of it, especialy because of blatant focus on sexuality. Question is, why is nobody doing anything about it? Are you really just going to blame people like me that stupidly, on accident shift the topic like this? Find and support aging actresess. Create things that require actresses that had several years of acting, to pull off. Create a market for 30+ year old women. Are you creating demand for it?
Greghus, just because i do a stupid, doesn't mean you can just flip me off. Aaargh I'm off to do some more research. You know, because i'm an ignorant idiot

i hope star wars makes the ahsoka tales indian related. i don’t think many know that the names ahsoka and shak-ti ( it’s actually SHAKTI with a completely different pronunciation : shuck - dhee ) are completely hindu based names. i know since i’m indian and my name is based off of one of the vedas, one of four religious texts. ahsoka is one of them, used to be a king’s name lol. but during the british empire they put the -a sound on a lot of words. ahsoka’s name should actually be spelled and pronounced as AHSHOK. yes with the -sh sound, and without the last -a. neat right !?
it makes that rescuing shili arc a whole lot like how the british empire actually treated indians making the train road ways. aljsdhfasljkd

6. favorite youtube channel? I have to put them into cathegories, cause It's hard to compare
Lifestyle - Emma Chamberlain. I literally have no idea about popular youtube world, but I discovered her recently, cause I had her vid recommended or sth and I think she's a modern philosopher and the most relatable girl. Especially now, when she's more "grown up" let's say.
The milk club: I don't watch her that often anymore, but she's very aesthetic and I loved her calm energy and travelling vlogs. I found them anxiety soothing.
Spiritual - Teal Swan. I especially loved her workshops with people, but I think she has a vid about every issue in the world and I find what she says so on point. + She kinda reminds of Xena the warrior princess
Makeup - a fellow tumblr girl @dandelionapril and her channel the dandelion girl. I'm tired of these makeup channels who just make us buy so much unnecessary stuff, while April is so creative and she recreates looks of vintage stars and actresess and movie characters and It's so inspiring, because she makes you feel like doesn't matter what you look like or how much makeup you own, you can look like all these women you admire.
And John Maclean, but I used to watch him for personality and to enrich my vocabulary, cause he speaks in the most elegant, expensive way + he has a great sense of humour.
True Crime - In english I listen to mostly Eleanor Naele. In polish Stanowo and Piąte nie zabijaj.
Style/clothes: Dearly Bethany. I admire her, cause she dresses so effortlessly chic and she doesn't follow trends, but encourage you to find your personal style and she's almost my height and has a quite similar body shape, so I find her advices really helpful.
Music: Jessica Haeckel - She used to do covers of Tool, Deftones, AIC etc. I've always enjoyed her interpretations. I often come back to her cover ofyellow ledbetter by Pearl Jam.
+polish: mishON and lisie piekło, cause I kinda have a crush on them? And loveandgreatshoes.
19. what do you wear to sleep?
Usually a random t-shirt (often a band t-shirt) and pyjama pants. I dream about a long whitegown, so I could look like a heroine from a Hammer horror. But now It's all about trying not to freeze.
29. how would you describe your style?
Let's say 90s minimalism with a hint of grunge, romantic gothic and also 60s/70s rocker girl, a forest fairy, an artsy college student who just woke up, an elegant classy lady and a dad who doesn't care about fashion, only about comfort, but loves his rock bands and hiking. At the same time.
(Said the girl who has been dressing like Big Lebowski for the past two weeks, but I almost didn't leave the house, so who cares anyway. But in general, I keep attention to the detail and I like when clothes just fit me well, are comfy, but have some "edge" or something unique about them).
37. favorite decade?
90s. Also the 60s/70s, I like 80s too.
56. Answered.
69. what’s something you know a lot about?
I don't know :-). I obviously know some stuff about bands and music I listen to. And gained some informations about subjects I study about. It's always like... When I want to buy a cream, I become a "skincare expert" and when I want to buy a phone, I become a technology expert for a week. So I have some knowledge about lot's of random stuff. Sometimes It's useful and sometimes It's draining, cause It's not that deep, but I'm kinda obsessed with "making the right" choice, which is impossible.

THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN REVIEW BY ICH4 ON TUMBLR
Hi pixies! I'm coming back after not making a post, just re blog some Television posts. Anyway, happy new year even today feels like not a new year anymore. Today, I'm gonna reviewing a coming of age movie. The title is The Edge of Seventeen.
The Edge of Seventeen is my first coming of age movie I watched this year. My first movie in this year is Fight Club but I'm not gonna review it, sorry. This movie storyline is following a girl's life who's her name is Nadine. Nadine live with his dad, mom, and his chad brother who's name is Darian.
Nadine's life is pretty bad at first. I mean, she got bullied, everyone hates her, and other stuffs. But, his dad is very supportive to her. One day, she met a girl who name Krista, soon they're getting close and being a bestfriend.
Nadine also met Erwin in history class. They are getting more close and I think both of them are falling in love, but Erwin first and then Nadine.
So, that's all I can tell you. We're moving on to other things that I need to review here!
First, I need to say that I relate to Nadine lmao. Nadine was me when I was hitting a puberty and just entering teenage phase. Hailee Steinfield act good in here, at first, I didn't know she's an actress because I only listened to her music back then (please forgive me). Other actors and actresess are good as well.
Second, the soundtrack is fine imo. I mean, its not that bad but its not that good. It fits well with the movie.
Third, the cinematography. The cinematography is pretty good imo. There's some scene I like. The petshop scene gonna be my favorite because the cinematography is.
I think that's all I can say about this movie because I watched this when I was in low motivation to pursuing my goals and study. Anyway, let me know your thoughts about this movie! Have a nice day, ciao!

Can I be incredibly obnoxious and ask for 1-18 for the Shakespeare ask game? I can’t choose which questions I like best 😂 if that’s too ridiculous feel free to just pick the ones you want to answer/haven’t been asked yet— I just can’t make up my mind lmao
You can!! Thank you!! Though I will change the 18th for some other random one because I've already answered it <3
1. The first production you ever saw
Dear LORD I can't even begin with this one. I saw it four times in total along my life (which isn't a lot but weird that it happened four times). It's an ongoing production on Buenos Aires (it's not online, sorry fellas) of Othello (or, well, "Otelo") and it's a very modern and bizarre version of the play. I loved it the first time I saw it and I loved it the other three, that were slightly changed with current political themes (I saw it with like two or three years of difference each). The last time I saw it was nearing the end of 2020 and they had adaptated it as if Othello was going indeed through the covid pandemic (they managed to pull that off well enough to be funny instead of depressing, yes).
Oof that was a long answer. I love talking lmao.
8. The play you’ve never seen performed that you most want to (alternately: the play you’ve never seen performed well that you most want to)
There's this play of Titus Andronicus that released last month on a theatre of my city and I'm dying to watch (the play itself never moved me much, in fact I've never even finished reading it at all, but this play is adaptated by a HUGE theatre director and wonderful actors and actresess). The thing is, it's pretty expensive lmao
Ask me Shakespeare random weird questions!!

Oh my god you’re back this is amazing!!! Thoughts about Carrie as Fantine in the newer productions and the staged concert? I’m honestly having trouble not seeing her as Eponine now
Hey anon!
I'm glad to hear my presence excites you lmao, that makes me feel!! Wanted!! Wow!!
Anyways, Carrie Hope Fletcher is just something isn't she? Like, her voice is so incredibly lovely, I was a little surprised when I heard she would play Fantine tbh. It's probably because I'm more used to hearing actresses for Fantine retain sort of deeper voices if you know what I'm saying. Like obviously not incredibly deep when you consider the parts in which many actresess chose to belt out lines, but deeper than her's, which is much more light and airy.
That being said, I still think she plays a really great Fantine. Her voice, I think, sort of highlights to me just how young Fantine was when she died, which is an important aspect to consider regarding the story and its themes/messages.
But yeah, I also kept thinking if her as Eponine, but she's played/plays both roles so well and I think that's a testament to her talent as an actress and singer.
What about you? Any other thoughts you got?

I wanna talk about the Batwoman premiere but I don't have anybody to talk to, so I hope it's okay for me to just dump this here.
It went better than I expected! Kate being gone and there being a new protagonist was done in a way I found fairly convincing actually. I'm excited for it! I read that the whole search for Kate will be an ongoing thing and people were saying that since Ruby Rose is no longer on the show they don't know why it's being dragged out, but personally I actually really like the parallel with Alice/Beth and how they assumed she was dead, and so I don't think it would be true to a lot of the characters (especially her dad) to accept she's gone. Apparently this will conclude in a manner that the fans are supposed to find satisfying. We'll see.
I do really have high hopes for Batwoman going forward. My main problem with it previously was I just didn't connect with Kate at all (I know Ruby Rose is super hot and so people really like her, but honestly I don't think she's a very good actress, I was very underwhelmed with her), so I'm hoping I'll enjoy it more now. I think it's a good start! I already like Ryan better honestly.
hey anon thats chill! i woke up early enough this morning to watch it so i can also give my thoughts!!
fyi: the below contains batwoman spoilers. y'all have been warned.
i can't see why ppl are mad abt the search continuing, dad kane's literal biggest regret is not searching for his daughter long enough after she went missing, he is Obvs gonna keep searching for kate forever. i think theyre gonna leave it ambiguous as to wether kate's Actually dead (leave space if ruby rose ever wanted to come back / make a cameo lmao) but i'm guessing the series won't linger Too long on her being gone...
and yeah i love ryan!!! i think they did super well introing her and explaining why she wants to be the bat. giving her alice as an enemy is also a great way to keep alice relevant... i'm just super excited to see all the 'her learning to be a hero' stuff!!
for ruby rose? i liked kate, i think ruby was a bit wooden at times, but she has a cute face and my God she could kiss women properly (unlike Some other arrowverse actresess) but i cant say i'll miss her Too much. i'm too excited for ryan!!
#phoebe lifeblogs#batwoman spoilers#thats the tag i'll be using fyi#please block if u dont want spoilers

School theatre trip
On 17-th November this year we went on the school trip to the Ochota theatre to watch the "Pustostany" show. It was a play connected with the workshops we had before it. The workshop was for us to better understand the play and not to get lost when watching it. There were many actresess, all around our age, so approximately 16 years old. The theme was about a jobless women's life. It was a "play about nothing", and so was the book that the play was based on. Some normal situations and habits were shown. The scene was constantly changing from one place to another, and the action had no breaks. It was a one hour show, but the amount of action was for three hours at least. Even thought, it was very understandable and pleasant to watch. I enjoyed this play.

Why do people think kat mcnamera is a bad actor
I don’t know? The day after the S2 finale (the day I watched it) I read so many comments about how awful Kat was during the scene with Jace that I didn’t even want to comment anything about the show. When I started watching the show, someone told me even though Clary is kind of the main character, the actress wasn’t that good at first BUT that she got way better as the episodes went by. And I think that’s true!
I didn’t read the books, so maybe it’s just about people not liking the way Kat portrays her, but I think that’s in the writing department more than the actress’ fault? I don’t know, I’m happy with her being Clary. It’s a bit tricky for me because I watched the movie and I didn’t like Lily Collins’ portray of Clary? So when I started watching the show and I didn’t really like Clary either, I thought it was just me not feeling the character. But during this season I’ve found myself liking her more and more, and I think she did a wonderful job in the last episode… Right now I LOVE both Clary and Kat.
But to be honest with you, I’m very happy a lot of people reblogged my post and commented they also love Kat. I’ll try and avoid going in the Shadowhunters tag from now on and I’ll stay in the positive side. I get that we all have diferent opinions and not everybody can like the same things/actors/actresess, but I’m not able to tolerate hate.
(Sorry for this rant?)

I'm actually very excited for the Mary Poppins sequel coming next year, but...
i’m also very scarred. I think no matter which media, book, movie, Disney parks or musical, Mary Poppins will be magical and bring a smile to my face. And even if Julie andrews will always be the practically perfect Mary Poppins, i also know that there are many actresess that did a fantastic job while playing Mary, may it be in the Disney Parks or in the musical. I’m sure emily Blunt will do a great job as well as the rest of the cast (like Maryl Streep or Lin-Miguel Miranda). And i also look forward to see Mary Poppins revisiting the Banks family and i’m very excited to see how Mary will interact with them after not seeing eachother for 20 years and on which adventures she will take them this time. There are so many possiblities for laughter but also for tears.
But i also fear that it will provide the last blow to sink the Mary/Bert ship. I mean i have always and will always ship them no matter what, but since this new movie will feature a new character that will be a companion to Mary, just like Bert in the original Movie, it might mean, that Bert will only play a minor role in this movie (if he even appears, but that would be a bad decision, because even if they don’t have a romantic relationship, it’s still established that they have a very tight bond like BFFs and it would be weird if Mary comes back to London and never meets up with her best friend) and it could be stated or implied that they can’t be together because Bert ages and Mary doesn’t or that their relationship is basically the same level of platonic as her relationship with Jack. To be honest story wise i don’t even understand why there has to be this Jack character instead of Bert to be her companion unless it is established that Mary is immortal and Bert isn’t so he can’t go on so many adventures anymore (however he wouldn’t be extremly old he would actually be 40 or 50)
But right now i still believe that Bert has magic himself to some amount and has been her companion for a long time because he is also immortal or at least doesn’t age as fast as normal people do. I mean think about it: In the original movie Mary and Bert seem to know each other for a very long time and have this very tight bond even though Mary goes away from London a lot and appearantly only comes back after many years. So why does it seem like they know each other so well inside and outside and have such a tight relationship even if they don’t get to see eachother so long? Some people theorize that Mary has also been Berts nanny but that would make it awkward that they are so close. I think the answer is that they know eachother longer than anyone that looks so young like they do would be able to know someone. I think Bert has some magic too. I think the reason why he couldn’t jump into the chalk picture himself is because when he said you have to think, he meant you have to think about what you want and he thought about Mary joining them. and i also think the reason why he is always at the right spot at the right time having exactly the job that is needed is because he can do magic. I think he also can talk with animals and knew Uncle Albert was on the ceiling again because he also heard it from Andrew (He said “I came as soon as i heard” but there is no human around who could have told him only animals might have known since animals like dogs can actually sense when someone is in trouble). So in my mind there is no reason why it wouldn’t be possible for Bert to be Marys companion in the new movie. Only the movie make probably wouldn’t agree with me or want to make it clear that Mary and Bert don’t have a romantic relationship.
Also i know that the author of the original book,Pamela L. Travers never wanted them to be a couple but i recently did read the books and i don’t understand why she thinks they aren’t supposed to be a couple. I mean the second chapter of the first book is already Marys first day off and who does she spend it with? Bert! And it’s said that they often or nearly always spend her day off together! Actually, they always go out and have tea and eat rashberry cakes together. Or they jump into a chalk drawing where, expect for a waiter or other service people, are completly alone and have a, well a Jolly Holiday together, just the two of them, having what others would call fantastic romantic date. From the way Bert acts around her and actually spoils her it seems clear that he has feelings for her. And it also seems like Mary has feelings for him, since she has many friends and acts very sweet torwards them and differently than she normally does with the children but when she is with Bert she completly loses her stiffness and coldness (remember in the book her character is more firm and even cross than in the movie) and even has moments where she blushes at certain occassions. So if Pamela L. Travers really thinks that there is no romance in the air than i think she is in denial.
And while they had to make Marys and Berts relationship in the movie platonic because of the author, they did try to make it as romantic as possible. There were even plans for a romantic balad for Mary and Bert. And as it is now it really seems like they do have feelings for each other. They always dance together, they flirt and tease eachlther, Mary gets jealous when Bert talks about other women, they share many cute looks and the whole Jolly Holiday number is pure romance (probably why P. L. Travers hated it so much besides the animation). Yes, everyonein the chalkdrawing says they love Mary, but they all have basically been created by Bert, who wants to show Mary how much he loves her. Yes, Mary sings “You’d never think of pressing your advantage. For bearance is the hallmark of your creed. A lady needn’t fear, When you are near. Your sweet gentility is crystal clear!“, which can mean, that he’d never push himself on her when she says no using his advantage as her friend to make her do something she doesn’t want, which makes him a true gentlemen. But it doesn’t have to mean that it’s a never and that she put him into the “friendzone“. It does mean, that he respects her boundries and only comes as close as she is comfortable with (which is already very close and she accepts that he gets close to her and sings to her because she is already very comfortable with him. She feels very safe with him) They let their relationship evolve at it's own pace.
Even in the musical there is some romance apparant between them. At the end she even kisses him on the cheek after they say goodbye.
And yes, i hear all of you scream “Does Mary need to be in love?” and “Can’t a man and woman just be very close friends?” Well i wouldn’t want to ship Mary with anyone if it weren’t for Bert. A man and a woman can be friends. Mary can have a very close friendship with Jack. But Bert is different. When she’s with him there are sparks flying all around them. So friendship is possible but if it’s the right person it is the right person.
Okay but enough of the rant now. Here is a link about my theories how Bert could actually appear in the sequel.

Any actorss and actresess how speak fluent in English? I only know Kivanc and Kerem Bursin.
Frankly, I don’t follow the actors closely, so I am not the right person to answer this, but as far as I know Halit Ergenç is fluent in English.
