Before I knew it, the setting sun had painted the town red.

Cyrus: It's about time we head back to the castle.

Emma: Oh yes, it's almost time for the party to start.

It seems that the Fata Musica performance had finished, and I could hear people passing by commenting on the show.

Woman: Ahh, I was so moved I cried. I want someone to pledge their love to me like that...!

Man: It's not our silver wedding anniversary, but maybe I should pledge my love to her too...

Cyrus: ...The audience seems to have loved it.

Emma: Hehe, that's right. The scene where they pledge their love seems to be particularly popular.

Cyrus: That was certainly a wonderful scene.

Cyrus: Not only were the actors' performances great, but it's clear that Suzuka has worked hard on the dialogue. (TN: Suzuka is the script writer of Fata Musica)

Emma: Um, Cyrus-san... Do you usually watch a lot of plays?

Emma: I think that watching the play while analysing the dialogue is quite professional.

Cyrus: Suzuka has amazingly managed to adapt the script to be more moving while still keeping in line with the original.

She got into the training program where she met other fellow sidekick to be like G-Lo and Green Rod. She would then with set up with Lady Musica and protect Sonata City. Lady Musica was then targeted by the Black Hat Organization and was taken out of commission until she met the White Hat Organization which prompted her to join as well. 

* She is inspired by Mai from Avatar, Maud Pie from Friendship is Magic, and Raven from Teen Titans. 

* She knows Latin and can speak it well 

* She actually can sing pretty well. 

* She is actually a good cook. 

* Her family specialty is conjuring familiars from mythical creatures to spirits of various origins. The familiars are in a book that she carries with her . The book can allow her capture familiars. The Book is called the Book Of Summons. 

* She has a black cat named Jett that accompanied her when she became a hero. 

* She will later learn to merge with her summons and become more of a physical fighter. 

* Of the sidekicks, she is closest to Kikakapu, Good Vibes, G-Lo, and Green Rod.

SYNOPSIS: DREAMS OF DRACULA: AN IMMERSIVE MASQUERADE EXPERIENCE transpires on two floors, in six rooms that allows guests to choose their own journey through history’s most famous vampire, Dracula, based on the Bram Stoker classic. The experience offers guests a mix of immersive theater, dance, and indulgent masquerade. Woven throughout the show are elements of dreams that can allow guests to encounter having their own dreams analyzed, lend their hand in co-writing a gothic ghost story, or have a poem composed in tribute to their beauty. Guests of legal drinking age can begin their experience in the Oscar Wilde Salon to imbibe in a variety of decadent themed cocktails where they will be entertained by Oscar and his very wild friends! A custom Dreams of Dracula app built by Shivoo Studios also allows guests to further interact with their dreams as an augmented reality post experience after the show. The VIP program begins at 5:45 pm and concludes at 9:00 pm in the Oscar Wilde Salon.

REVIEW: As we begin the Halloween season, there are a variety of haunted attractions and horror theme plays to spice up your fall haunts. There are limited more adult experiences, and if you’ve already experience “Sleep No More” or “Speakeasy Magic,” then DREAMS OF DRACULA: AN IMMERSIVE MASQUERADE EXPERIENCE is an exciting evening of immersive theater on the westside of New York City.

I am not usually a fan of dance, but the main program, “M Cycle One – Castle Dracula” & “Cycle 2 – The Virgin & The Vampire,” are an engaging mix of theater, dance, and pantomime. It transpires on the second floor that features a larger dance space. The story transitions through several rooms as it interprets the tale of Dracula. There is limited dialogue, however Renfield gets to rant. Added into the tale are two angels who witness the tragic events and on occasion whisper into guests’ ears to guide them through the tale. Even if you are not well immersed in Stoker’s novel, the story here is easy to follow. The costumes and musician choices add to the hypnotic and sensual feel to the experience. The masks provided to the guests and the requested black attire add to the voyeuristic experience, evoking the spirit of Kubrick’s “Eyes Wide Shut.”

The Dracula cycles are performed for the duration of the time blocks. However, there are other experiences going on in the salon and a couple of other rooms. I was enchanted by the Dracula production so I only stole a few moments away to see what was going on elsewhere. Lord Byron, Mary Shelly, Oscar Wilde, Freud, a fortune teller, and a few possessed characters haunted the other spaces offering guests other tales and experiences.

I would recommend purchasing a tier that provides access for all Dreams of Dracula cycles performed that evening and a few other perks that add to the evening’s experience. Likewise, that tier provides early access to The Oscar Wilde Salon, designed with a lot of atmosphere and sets the tone for the evening. There are four signature cocktails, I enjoyed the Voodoo Punch and the Whisky Smash is tasty.

There is an app, created by Shivoo Studios, that adds another element to the evening’s experience. It permits guests to interact with their dreams as an augmented reality post experience after the show in the salon area. I played with it a bit and found it a novel idea to give those who are unable to put down their phones something to do.

For those not familiar with an immersive experience, other than “The Un-Dead” (General Admission) tier and unlike a haunted attraction, you are not rushed through and allowed to become fully immersed in this experience. The show is all about creating a complex ambience and does not rely on twists and turns to hide jump scares. The dancers and performers are excellent, hypnotic and compelling. They announce that they want you to explore, and the angels offer some limited guidance. I would have liked to have known something more about the other experiences offered and where they might be located within the space. If I had known in advance, I would have arrived for the earlier start and spent the night fully experiencing all the production has to offer. Considering the price of a Broadway ticket, DRACULA: AN IMMERSIVE MASQUERADE EXPERIENCE provides a more compelling, participatory experience. Would definitely recommend it as a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season with a group of friends or your significant other.

Sin da ragazzo calca le tavole del palcoscenico, diventando uno dei nomi di punta della scena napoletana: è - insieme alla sorella Pupella - il più famoso dei fratelli Maggio. Apprezzato dal pubblico e talvolta anche dai critici, Dante Maggio crea figurine saporose con le sue battute autenticamente salaci e in virtù di una grintosa disinvoltura sulla scena. Di carattere ribelle e impulsivo, da giovane finisce in riformatorio e prima di accedere ad una certa notorietà si inventa un sacco di mestieri, da gelataio a strillone, da falegname ad attrezzista nella compagnia teatrale del padre, la Maggio-Coruzzolo-Ciaramella, nella quale poi debutta come attore pur interpretando brevi battute. Ma è proprio con il padre Mimì che si fa le ossa prima di passare con Achille Maresca a recitare accanto a Raffaele Viviani e ottenere un lancio da vero attore con Anna Fougez. Nella stagione 1937-38 è a Napoli e partecipa ad alcuni sketch con Dapporto in Visi e maschere, poi lavora a Roma durante il periodo bellico in Quello che bolle in pentola e In picchiata sui cuori; quindi recita con il fratello Beniamino nell'immediato dopoguerra in Se il mondo fosse quadrato. L'avanspettacolo è il settore al quale Dante Maggio si sente più vicino e, forse a causa del suo carattere bizzarro e ribelle, perde moltissime occasioni per un vero salto di qualità con la Osiris, la Riccioli-Primavera, De Filippo. Nella stagione 1947-48 è in ditta con Vera Nandi in una rivista di un certo successo, Siamo ricchi e poveri, di Pisano, poi è con la sorella Pupella e Vera Rol ne La bugia del giorno di Amendola e Maccari, con il fratello Beniamino in Scugnizzi e femmine e Riso... dolce, entrambe del 1949; cui fa seguito nel 1951 Napoli non è milionaria nella quale fa debuttare il piccolo mulatto Angelo, da lui adottato dopo la guerra. Il dopoguerra vede Dante Maggio debuttare nel cinema, dopo un infelice inizio nel 1940 con un film di scarsa distribuzione. Ed è proprio nel cinema che Dante si costruisce un'onoratissima carriera anche se viene adoperato in ruoli di contorno o di carattere, spesso di una certa importanza, altre volte convenzionali. Sempre più assorbito dal cinema che gli offre ottime occasioni, Dante dirada le sue apparizioni in teatro non prima di aver riunito la famiglia artistica dei Maggio, tranne Pupella, per l'unica e sola volta nella rivista Venere con i baffi. Riesce anche a far scritturare il figlio adottivo, il piccolo Angelo Maggio, come protagonista nei film Il mulatto e Angelo tra la folla, entrambi diretti da Francesco De Robertis nel 1950, i quali ottengono una tiepida accoglienza. Attivo anche in televisione, appare con il fratello Beniamino nella versione per il piccolo schermo di Rinaldo in campo per la regia di Garinei e Giovannini (1963) e, negli anni sessanta, secondo la moda del momento, appare in alcuni western all'italiana con lo pseudonimo Dan May. Fra le sue ultime interpretazioni l'originale televisivo Diagnosi nell'episodio Per un bambino diretto da Mario Caiano (1975).

Los otros Gondra es una función de teatro que a quienes vivimos por aquí, quizás nos impacte menos que los que viven por allá. Borja Ortiz de Gondra quien escribe el texto y también participa a modo de actor narrador. Nos cuenta en esta ocasión la historia de una familia de Algorta. En ella hay una parte a fin a la lucha armada e izquierda abertzale que justifica y reclama el famoso impuesto revolucionario y por otro lado, quienes en una posición más moderada, rehúsan de entrar en el juego que ETA, quiso meternos a todos. La función quizás un poco larga y algo confusa, está bien interpretada y ejecutada. Crea quizás tópicos muy previsibles, pero ayudara a quienes no vivieron esa época a entender que por encima de ideas, están las personas. Esas que la muerte se encarga de poner al mismo ras de suelo cuando son enterradas. Y digo esto, porque el legado del nicho familiar es la buena excusas que Borja entremezcla con la ficción para plantear diálogos y situaciones que no buscan posicionamientos, quizás solo reflexiones. Olvidar, perdonar, reconciliarse… Quizás mejor vivir, y expresar lo que el corazón de cada uno de nosotros nos dice. El latir de cada uno de los corazones de los intérpretes, se agita y de manera intensa se ofrece con una buena escenografía de un frontón donde luces y sombras, dejen entrever que lo de menos, es si fue verdad o mentira la historia que Borja cuenta. Lo demás, es como vamos a encarar el futuro y sospecho que a Borja le ira bien.
