"I don't make enough art." Enough for what?

Genuinely! Sometimes the answer is "my portfolio" or "to advertise my commissions" or "to reach a wider audience." These can be daunting, but they're concrete goals with trackable progress! Maybe you don't reach your ideal goal, but you can still see progress, and be proud of it!!

Other times, the answer is "to feel like a real artist" or "to deserve this attention" or "to feel like I'm doing as much as I could be." THESE are SINISTER BRAIN TRICKS!!! Do not listen!!! They are abstract and anxiety-fueled, and will be ever-shifting!! You will never feel like you've made progress!! That fucking sucks and is unfair to you!!!!!!

Make enough art to learn a new technique! Make enough art to see your progress in a few months' time! Make enough art to put an idea onto paper! Make enough art to have some fun in your spare time! THIS makes you an artist, and your art is enough when YOU decide it is!! Okay!!!!!!
