Aloria Weaver shares some research on acrylic paints & primers – where acrylics come from, what's really in them, and some little-known facts that might just shock you...

• The idea of the intrinsic safety of so-called "water-based" acrylic paint products and polymers is quite exaggerated, and may even be dangerously misleading.

• The large majority of these products may carry significant toxicity. In particular, cheaper products can contain powerful toxins such as glycol ether, plastic softeners (phthalates), formaldehyde, styrene, unreacted or concentrated volatile monomers, or benzene, a recognized carcinogen.

• Even MSDS (materials safety data sheets) information may be misleading, incomplete, or incorrect. Polymer chemistry is highly complex, and chemical firms are known to hide some key facts behind brand names, scientific language and impenetrable patents.

Пожалуй, пора уже что-то рассказать и показать.. Куда я пропала и почему..🙂 И так.. Шел сорок четвертый день моей работы над росписью стен в Белицком спортзале.. Сказать, что я уже прилично задолбалась, это не сказать ничего..😵 Рисунки полностью готовы на трёх стенах. Четвертый месяц работы. И только три стены. Без основного фона, который там по задумке должен быть салатовый. Который мне ещё предстоит выкрасить.. 😵😵😵 Зато не нужно никаких фитнесов и тренажеров, такой стройной и прозрачной я была лет десять назад последний раз.. 😋😁 Как-то так..🙃 Постараюсь не пропадать и наснимать вам сториз..
