This doesn't look at all appetizing, I have to say. And that's unfortunate, because I think that an actual salad of shredded-up carrots with what appear to be raisins and mushrooms seems like it would, at the very least, taste interesting.

Those might also be black olives and cauliflower? Or marbles and other marbles? I simply cannot tell and will never be able to tell.

anyone know if the cooking mechanic in acnh increases the sell price of stuff or is there no sense in selling crops that way cause it's the same price regardless?

I have absolutely no idea at all tbh...

like if I make flour out of wheat or sugar out of sugarcane or other food out of those combined w fruit or what have you, or if I make sea bass and herbs or something does this increase the sell price or does it stay the same?

being the same as the materials you used to make it.....

or is it better to just sell the crops outright?

cause I thought I got somewhere that even if something with crops (like the spooky carriage) in the event that it is a hot item, tho I'm just asking about "in general" not hot item, that the crops sell for the normal price even if crafted into a furniture item.

actually not even sure (and don't think they can tbh) can flour or other cooking things even BE hot items?

playing late cause I'm redownloading everything on my OLED and got to playing very late and everything is closed, lol.

also my gold and blue rose collection is growing~~~ and the rare island blue hyacinths ~~~ I bred them from oranges (and tossed one T_T) before realizing through a flower breeding video that they're good~~~ and result in purples 25% of the time~~~ so if you get a blue from 2 orange hyacinths, keep it~~~

unrelated but switch games download so slowly~~~ I think that was intentional so the switch doesn't overheat or something but it still takes me 2 days to download all my stuff... it's either the switch or my internet being bad while doing it~~~ yikes~~~

It’s happening! I am finally starting a new island in ACNH, and if the name wasn’t any indication (not only is Pottsfield an OTGW reference but is derived from “potter’s field” where the dead are buried anonymously), it’s gonna be spooky themed! I even got lucky with one of my first villagers who I was hoping for this island (oh yeah, Cherry’s staying for sure).

I’m starting by placing buildings on the beaches, which will get relocated during terraforming once that’s unlocked. Anyway, I’m looking forward to eventually streaming my progress (I am currently on the 4th in-game day) once I get a new gaming PC set up. It may take some time to get everything just right; the capture card, OBS, the microphone, and everything working properly, however. But I’m determined to finally do it. I have waited far too long, spending these 4 years working on Inkwell, drawing frequently to please the IG algorithm, starting and fixating on a cooking blog in 2022, and having my 2023 occupied with Splatoon 3 and Pokémon. I’m locking in, but I hope to balance this with art and other games, of course.

I’m tired of saying things but not delivering. Finally, that is beginning to change.

I’m posting this here because this is currently where my active followers are. Idk if anyone here would be interested in me attempting to do gaming streams or anything, but I thought I’d try.

I finally sat down and did some fishing, and caught enough fish to actually cook a few of the fish dishes that I've had recipes for for a long, long time.

I think it's interesting that you can spin the food around and see it from different angles in the crafting menu.

I don't have any need for this stuff, which is why I never made it until now. But I guess I can add it to my storage for no reason now, and that's something. It's more than nothing. Not by a lot, but it is.
