As someone who is both easily frustrated and will be having a full-time job in the next five years, I might've bought all 498 Animal Crossing Amiibo cards (i bought the sanrio ones prior) because I don't want spend all that time villager hunting, especially once I start working 40 hours a week while still wanting to enjoy the game.

#im super excited though #i love having specific villagers for islands but villager hunting stresses me out #the decision was between me doing a one-time payment to save money #versus spending anywhere from 20 minutes to 6 hours villager hunting #its money well-spent #animal crossing new horizons #animal crossing #acnh #amiibo cards #acnh amiibo cards

REMEMBER WHEN THESE FIRST CAME OUT AND EVERYONE WAS SELLING THEIR LEFT KIDNEY JUST TO OBTAIN THESE BAD BOIS?? (The 6 card Sanrio Amiibo collection)

So, here's what went down in my hometown, these were being sold ONLY at Target.

One day without even knowing they were released, I saw them at Target, it was the last one left!! I obviously nabbed it because I absolutely love Sanrio.

Then the internet happened... and people started scalping them and buying them all and then selling them for almost $100. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyways, yeah so I am VERY thankful that I ran across them early enough!

Did anyone else get lucky enough to get these??

COME BACK TO ME. so he moved in)#umm only other villager we had was chadder which i think my little brother picked when we shared the island #i think i remember him saying he got chadder because of dantdm...? i dont remember the details #but i got the sanrio amiibo cards which i need to stress i had wanted for YEARS. i was so fucking happy when they got a rerelease #to the point where like. i couldnt get them at first because they sold out super fast. so #i bought them from someone in twitter dms im so serious. and it fucking worked thats how i got them #anyway i wanted chai to move in because shes my fave of that set (i love cinnamoroll) but i needed someone to move out #which i always get so sad about :( but my brother offered to take chadder so i felt a little better abt it #and then i think we forgot to like. have him come get chadder in boxes. so chadder went off somewhere hope hes living a good life #thats it i think. i wish i kept a list of all my villagers ever but considering ive been playing for a decade or so now that would be. crazy #muffin mumbles

Got some Pokemon cards again tonight. specifically for 1 card, but my mom allowed me to get both blister packs :D

the 1 card is for my sister since her birthday is tomorrow and I have literally NOTHING to give her. she's gotten me some Pokemon cards before so I decided to get her one. She likes Jigglypuff, but I do not have the money nor the time to hunt down some random Jigglypuff card. BUT! I DID know that target had a blister pack with a Scream Tail as one of the 3 promo cards in it, and Scream Tail is like a cooler Jigglypuff.

So that's what I did.

Anyways, while I was putting my cards in my binder.. I realized I already had a Scream Tail of my own.. oops. but hey! I got more cards and I even got the Sandy Shocks promotional card and I LOVE Sandy Shocks, so it's fine!!

also the cool holo Iron Thorns and Roaring Moon.. I love them.

#ghostie mumbles #I put my sister's card in my mom's binder in my mom's room for easier and quicker access for tomorrow #in the process of doing THAT I found the sanrio animal crossing amiibo cards LOL #now my mom can use those in her own acnh game since she got her own copy for her own switch the other day! she's been having fun with it #I visited her island earlier today and gave her a bunch of stuff. but I still have things to get and give her in-game
