doing a thing where i just drawlike it's a pen, no erasing and fuck Os and Achatius came out looking good. I've been obsessed with them lately
[ID: screenshot taken from an active canvas in the art program Fire Alpaca. The drawing shown is on a transparent canvas in thin black lines. depicts two men, both vampires. on the left, a muscular man with a layered, choppy hairstyle stands wearing no shirt, only sweatpants. he also has freckles, lots of body hair, moles, very large scars, a cut off piece from his ear, and a large hairy birthmark on his abdomen. he is smiling and flexing his left arm. On the right, is another man, this one hunched over and hanging on the flexed arm of the other. He is very thin, with less but still visible body hair, also wearing no shirt just sweatpants. his ear is in tact, and he is looking up to his husband. it is apparent via two fang puncture marks on the larger man's arm, and blood running down the thinner man's lip, that he has taken a drink from him. they are in love. Old Vienna
Wien 1, Singerstrasse 10/8/6 Anno 1910

Album Review: Achatius - Funereal Presence
Album Review: Achatius – Funereal Presence
The black metal scene in 2019 seems to be doing well, at least if you look into the number of album releases alone. Unfortunately, the quantity very rarely equals quality. Bandwagons are easy to jump on, and labels only enhance the saturating effect by signing bands that are easy to access for the audience. Hip and trendy. Following the popular consensus of what is right and what is wrong in…

St. Achatius, Martyr - A Fourteen Holy Helper - May 8
Saint Acatius, from Cappodocia, was a Roman soldier, a captain in the army during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. One day, while on a campaign with his troops, he heard a voice saying, “Call on the God of the Christians.” He responded immediately to this grace. He sought instruction in the Faith and was baptized. After this, he tried to convert those under his command. Hearing of this the emperor cast him into prison, tortured him on the rack, and had him scourged. Having survived this, he was handed over to a tribune named Bibianus. Asked his name he said, “My name is Christian, because I am a follower of Christ.” He was beaten with clubs and, after seven days in another prison, he was transported to Byzantium covered with wounds. While on this journey a consoling voice was heard from the clouds, “Acatius be firm.” The soldiers heard it and were terrified. Many fellow prisoners, who heard the voice, were converted. Finally, after angels healed his wounds, he was beheaded. The year was 303. He is invoked against headaches.
