Finally got some info worked out on MM!Levi so time to dump all of it here. Sorry for the long read :’)

Levi started out as a normal participant in the killing game like everyone else, however the memories they have all lost includes Levi’s memory of being operated on by the company behind the entire TV show. He’s unaware of the fact he is the mastermind up until seeing Xander’s dead body. Think of blood as a trigger for his sudden memories.

Now, why would they make Levi forget the fact he’s the mastermind for so long? Well it’s simple really, what’s funnier than the guy who claimed he would protect everyone turn out to be the reason they’re killing each other in the first place? :3

Levi still lacks feeling and does not care about any of the participants, whether he has his memories or not. However, there is one that interests him greatly, that one person being Ace Markey. He doesn’t know what he feels when seeing him, but he’s so unique from everyone else that he has somewhat ‘taken a liking’ to him.

Ever since seeing Ace, Levi has been doing the best he can to look like ‘the good guy’ in front of him and earn his trust. He wishes for Ace to join him, which realistically, would not happen.

During the chapter 2 execution, right at the very end, Levi personally saves Ace from death. Ace passes out rather than dies, and is taken to a completely different area that only the mastermind has access to. Obviously, upon waking up, Ace is shocked to see Levi in front of him in perfectly fine condition. After all, that contradicts the entire reason he tried to start up his execution as fast as possible in the first place.

Ace went from somewhat liking Levi to being unsure about him in very few days.

Now, how DOES Levi survive the shots and end up being in perfectly fine condition? Simple really.

During the commotion and everyone paying attention to Ace, Levi was.. well, snuck out. The company behind the TV show had set up a few strings here and there and managed to get Levi out of the court room so they could operate on him once more to keep him alive. Because of his sudden disappearence, he is assumed dead by everyone else but Ace.

Levi’s outfit is changed during the operation, as most of his mastermind clothes now officially is what keeps him alive using electric shocks.

Levi goes from simply wanting to look good, to eventually having an awfully weird obsession with wanting the approval of Ace, to the point of harming him sometimes by accident when getting too desperate. He has never felt anything like this feeling before, so he chases after the feeling not caring for whether ace likes it or not.

Oh, and despite not knowing how to feel about Levi, Ace is still terrified of him either way. He is doing his best not to join Levi at all, and Ace wasn’t supposed to survive in the first place, Levi went against his own rules.

I cannot STAND Ace Markey at all whatsoever. Like, you have this nice ass man that’s actively trying to make amends with you but you keep proving Teruko right, he should just give up on ur ass. And it’s not like he doesn’t know this either, he literally eavesdropped on Levi and Teruko’s conversation 💀 HE WAS GOING TO HELP YOU WHEN U WERE LITERALLY DYING TOO, but no your dramatic ass was like “heh…I’d rather DIE than get help from you”, dumbass. “Oh but Levi snapped on Ace during the trials!” RIGHTFULLY SO?? IDK WHY PEOPLE ACT LIKE THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR HE WAS BEING A LITTLE BITCH 😭🙏 oh and don’t get me started on how bro fucked Nico over completely and utterly unprovoked. At no point did Nico wave his fuckinf secret around, and yet ACE felt the need to do just that, and then David (lil bitchass) butted in and revealed their secret, which they clearly weren’t ready for 😭 even after getting nearly killed for being an asshole bro didn’t learn his lesson, he’s an actual dumbass‼️ Idk about yall but if I were in a killing game I’d be nice to my potential murderers! Or even better, take a page out of Teruko’s book and avoid them altogether!! God all the men in this series (except for Levi) are insufferable I can’t do this anymore 😰/j

To summarize: Ace Markey has 0 survival instincts

DRDT MASTERMIND AU!

Every DRDT was a past participant of a killing game. Now, they are all being forced to play in one more killing game.

The only unknown thing..? They’re all masterminds. (An AU made because of the mass amounts of mastermind aus on Tumblr right now and honestly I’m a huge fan of all of them.)

Teruko Tawaki - ..Actually the only one who hasn’t participated in a killing game. The mastermind who was supposed to participate (her brother from the orphanage) mysteriously disappeared. So they went to..other measures.

Xander Matthews - Survived by defeating the mastermind (canon Danganronpa endings).

Eden Tobisa - Escaped due to a motive where if someone got away with killing, they could bring someone with them. (Was horrified and ran away into society to distract herself from the killing game. This ended up being her downfall as it gave the producers ideas as to where she was.)

Min Jeung - Survived because the mascot had decided to revive a random participant as the blackened ending up stabbing themself as everyone got executed

Hu Jing - Survived because the mascot was broken (chapter 4). This is why MonoTV is so strong now, since the killing game had ended before because of the mascot being destroyed.

J Rosales - Survived by defeating the mastermind

Charles Cuevas - Survived by winning the trial (the matter was so traumatizing for him that his brain completely blocked out the fact and makes blood repulsive)

Arturo Giles - Survived because he wasn’t an actual participant in the killing game, but rather a helper to the mascot

Arei Nageishi - Survived because she ended up killing her sister who was a fellow participant in the killing game and won the trial by guilt-tripping everyone

Ace Markey - Survived by defeating the mastermind

Nico Hakobyan - Survived because they were a traitor in their killing game

Whit Young - Survived because outsiders ended up saving the killing game participants during chapter three

Rose Lacroix - Survived because she was brought into a killing game late because she was caught sneaking around the facility (her sibling was in the killing game) before helping defeat the mastermind (though her sibling died in the process)

Veronika Grebenschikova - Survived because the mastermind got defeated

Levi Fontana - Survived by being a blackened

David Chiem - Survived because he was a ‘traitor’ for the mastermind (ended up pulling strings so that the mastermind also died whilst the execution for everyone happened)

Till Alnst 🤝 Ace Markey: fighting for their lives and then resigning to die, because they get to see someone they care for (or just someone on the end of their life protect someone else). Yet they are scared to die. They don't want to die the way others plan their death to be. If they were to die, it would be by their own ways. They knew that they (probably for Till) wouldn't survive the game/competition. They were also probably ready to die too (in Till's case, I would be. In Aces case yes I would act like him too- tho I dunno too much). They are so scared. So fucking scared.

SPOILERS FOR DRDT CH 2 EPISODE 15

I didn't care about Ace at first, I found him annoying and I hated the constant screaming and I'll be honest, at first I felt happy he was going to go, but then I realised how beautiful and tragic his character is.

He's constantly outcasted for his personality to the point he's extra aggressive almost as a front it seems, considering how he calmed down a lot at the end, but he always pushes people further away. But when Nico tried to kill him, Ace realised that the others weren't just annoyed by him but were actually malicious towards him, even if only Nico tried to kill him, in his eyes everyone wanted to kill him.

Ace was desperate to survive by any means, yes he was selfish but he was human and he was scared, and now in his fight to stay alive he's going to die.

Ace is going to die knowing the only person who he thought ever gave a crap about him secretly never cared at all.

Ace is going to die knowing that his only defence in the eyes of the cast was that he was stupid and that they all thought so little of him.

Ace is going to die alone and terrified knowing that everyone hated him and is glad to see him go.

Ace Markey, I didn't like you. I used to hate you even, but now I see that you're just human. Humans can be annoying and loud and so so selfish but they're still human.

I'm going to miss Ace.

I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA SURVIVE. I THOUGHT HE'D MAKE IT.

Ace had so much development he could've gotten. He could've become better. We could've seen Ace smile again, seen him finally make friends.

But no. Instead he'll die alone, his insecurities confirmed, his greatest fears realized. Ace Markey will die alone. He spent his life with a talent he hated, constantly terrified of the what's to come, and all that suffering and sacrifice earned him was a funeral with no mourners. Who mourns the useless piece of shit who killed someone trying to be better?

Ace Markey could've developed to be someone with enough belief in himself to realize that he, too, could change. The fact that he'll never get that chance truly captures the spirit of this series.
