so annoying when you find a song and at first it looks exactly like it fits [certain character or pairing] and then it doesn't zz i was gonna say 我的将军啊 was zhongxiao but its NOT
#however it is sort of [redacted] from hsr.... but it's not them either and im lowkey annoyed bc the song is catchy in the#tiktok bgm way and i want it to fit someone but it doesn't#the song is like the wife of a general is waiting for him back home and the guy probably dies in battle but she keeps waiting#and then the 'most replayed' part of the song according to youtube is like oh my general where did you really go / you said you were going#to kill the enemy but you haven't still returned home blah blah#and its like nice but too desperate for zx 2k yrs of repression and tenderness#i think i just got baited by 'my general' and am trying to pigeonhole my faves into the song#it's also objectively a generic song i would fuck with it more if the male voice singing was the one staying at home and the general was a#woman. i feel like this does not make much diff in the scheme of things but it would be funnier to have a tragically widowed househusband#ramblings!

Nihil, a youtuber focused on Shining Force content, has done a video on Epic Shining Wisdom, showcasing a very early alpha version and an interview with the creator, Didakus. Gameplay footage starts at 4:40.
While I encourage people to watch the whole thing, I wanted to highlight the most important points for anyone with no time for a 30 minute video.
The majority of characters from Shining Force II are planned to return as playable characters, with the exception of Bowie, Peter, Kiwi, Lemon, and Claude;
According to Didakus, the addition of a custom character won't affect the story much, and is more intended as something to add replay value, letting the player start off as different classes. Mars is still the hero of the story;
There will be also six playable characters coming from Shining Wisdom. Of course, that includes Mars himself. These six characters plus Sarah and Kazin will join the team through the story as usual. The other characters however are optional. You will find and receive items named Force Crystals and exchange them for characters in the Caravan. I'm *very* excited for this idea because it gives you so much freedom on composing your team through the game and experimenting with different playthroughs, it really sounds like a blast;
Characters recruited in the Caravan will join at Mars' current level so you don't have to worry about them lagging behind either;
Didakus also mentions that the build here is a single test battle, and that he already has further builds with all the five battles expected for the first demo. I can confirm that, I have been testing that thing all week as well lol. Some things seen in this footage, like misaligned UI elements and weird collision have already been fixed, so yeah, things are progressing fast in my opinion;
The demo is expected to drop this month or January, I feel January is more likely at this point, but I am fired up to finish my part of things after this so, we shall see! Keep an eye out for it.
Also, Didakus is still looking for help with art, scripting and more, so check out his website for contact and donation info;

the reason its's utena tuesday is because, reaching new heights of procrastination, i wound up watching the 1997 musical & about 2/3 of the white bud musical today. (i still got 2 ½ assignments done, though, so maybe it's OK?)
the 1997 musical wasn't very good but i still found it really interesting... i think that when you contrast it against the anime, it really accentuates the "fairy tale" aspects of RGU, since that's what it ultimately feels like - a clearcut fairy tale. it only adapts the first arc (and, according to the youtube comments, is based more on the manga), and has a relatively simple fairytale ending... utena is given back her role as prince (by akio 😨 but he only shows up for like 5 mins at the end and doesn't do much else), defeats touga in the rematch, and her and anthy profess their endless love to each other. the prince wins her bride and lives happily ever after. but when you already know that the story is meant to continue past that point… it kind of feels like the bad ending of a video game, where the ending is unsatisfactory yet hints that there may be choices you could make on a replay to change your player character's fate. but that's also exactly what makes it feel like a fairytale, too - it feels like a retelling of a timeless story. maybe even a story that's been told so many times parts of it has been lost? is one way to think about it, anyways.
the pacing isn't great though. nearly all of the exposition is conveyed through notecards, which i understand was probably necessary since it was only an hour long, but still... i also wasn't a fan of a lot of the songs (although the shadow girl's song is stuck in my head…), but! the actress who played anthy, kanna, was fantastic in the role!
also, something that this one really had going for that was that all the roles were played by women! given the series' inherit takarazuka influences, that was really cool to see!
the white bud musical, on the other hand, is a much closer adaptation of the anime.. probably the thing i find the most interesting is that the cast is pared down such that anyone outside of the duelists, anthy, and wakaba are depicted by just four "allegorical extras" who change roles depending on the situation. two of them, for example, are the kashira players - but at any other given time, they can also be kozue, shiori, or just a background classmate. with how large the the anime's cast is, seeing it pared down so much... also lends to a fairytale feeling?
I think i also liked this play's depiction of some elements better too (compared to the '97 play) … i really liked how utena climbing the staircase for the first time was depicted as her walking on a staircase-ish projection on the stage, with anthy at the center.
because it more closely adapts the anime, it also kind of works well as a recap. (which seems fitting to watch it before the last two episodes 😋). it also spells some things out a little more clearly... doing such a thing can be detrimental to a story like RGU, but it also made it a little more clear to me what utena was projecting onto anthy (which i had had trouble determining), so. such is the nature of such things.
actually, that reminds me of the thing i found most interesting about this adaptation - conversations between two (or more!) separate sets of characters will often occur at once. this is usually used to draw paralles between characters and character relationships. the most noticable instance of this was that miki and juri's duels took place simultaneously (physically, at least - it was clear in-story they took place at different times). it makes for a really interesting way to utilize the medium.
also, nanami's in this one (she wasn't in the 1997 one). yay!
and then, to compare the two... notably, the prince dios makes appearances (with a song) in every one of utena's duels in the 1997 musical, while he widely goes unmentioned in the white bud. at the same time, the white bud instead alludes to the power of dios through the usage of the four allegorical members waving patterned fabric around (also used when utena draws the sword of dios), so ultimately it suits the white bud's creative usage of the pared-down cast.
it's utena tuesday

Season 5 gave such adorable rivusa moments that when I feel like shit I go to episode 18 just to here riven say “that’s my girl” in front of everyone it just makes my heart ndbdndndns (I don’t even question why according to YouTube stats that part was like the most replayed the rivusa army is eating up every thing they get) like hes so proud to show her off and everything omg rivusa dynamic was elite in season 5 no one even comes CLOSE they saved the season for me
YES YES YES YESSSSSS
Tbh that's the big reason I'm so mad about this Keli shit, even though it gets better later. How dare you get in the way of the couple of the SEASON. Like Brella in s2. Move so s5 can go up into the coveted ranks of "Winx seasons not cowardly enough to not portray established relationships and instead exclusively focus on drama"
I feel bad for all the Skloom fans out there. It's ok besties. S4 Musa was not Musa, not in personality or style, and s5 is OBVIOUSLY not Sky. I would never hold s5 against Skloom
Bro Riven being proud of Musa kdjsnsns WHO COULD RESIST!!!! He's so adorable and he's all like "of course she figured it out, she's awesome. Amazing job babe" I'm obsessed with them
S5 agrees with me that Riven would have a Musa stan account where he aggressively markets her music and loves her no I am not ok I love themm
Rivusa is SOOOO good in s5. S2 and s5 are really the Rivusa seasons
S5 has so many independent good things surrounded by terrible, they restored Musa back to her proper personality....but at what cost (I'm sorry they did that to Flora Floelia fans), but Rivusa was definitely a highlight good

She’s Creepy (Dream)
MASTERLIST
pairing : dream / clay x reader.
summary : apparently being a huge fan of a big youtuber is considered being a creep, according to minecraft gamer, dream. and ever since he called you mean things, your world turned upside down. (ANGST) (TRIGGER WARNING)
a/n : i’m aware i’ve been writing all angsts, i just enjoy a little heartbreak. this is a two part story!
you haven’t been on social media as a public figure for long, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t been on social media before this.
you knew people, you had people you look up to, as of many other social media influencers or content creators.
you grew pretty quick on youtube and instagram. your content mostly included room makeovers whenever you felt bored of your own home or your storytimes. you blew up from talking about your stalker.
since then, your subscibers stayed with you and supported you, saying that you have a charm, and that you exert good energy and vibes. and those type of comments have always made your day.
you always shared with your supporters about your life, not too personal but enough for them to feel included. of course, you’re not telling them your phone number or address, but you tried to share as many details you can legally in your story times.
that also meant that you would tell your supporters small details about you, such as what book you were currently reading or who you’ve been watching on youtube.
even before you stated posting on your channel, you’ve been watching a minecraft youtuber, dream and his friends.
some of your fans would tag them in some of your instagram posts, or tweets that brought no harm so you never really acknowledged it since it wasn’t hurting anyone.
you weren’t “fangirling” you’d say. it was more of you supported them and found them funny and entertaining.
coincidentally, you landed yourself on the dream team tiktok, which means that dream and his friends were all over you for you page.
and to show that you were active and not dead to your followers on instagram, you’d post a funny tiktok, usually included the dream team. you thought it was harmless. to you, it was just a way to show support.
but only a couple days later, hashtags about you and the dream team, more specifically, just dream, were trending.
when you saw this, opening your twitter app, you immediately went to find out what this was about. your heart jumped when you thought maybe dream acknowledged you.
in fact, it was worse.
what was trending was a short video clip during one of the dream teams chill streams on the dream smp.
the conversation between george, sapnap and dream went like this.
“you guys heard about that girl who kept reposting tiktoks about us on her instagram story?” george asked the other two boys.
“heard she watched us before she even started her channel” sapnap.
“i don’t know about you guys, but i think she’s being a little creepy.” dream said.
your heart sunk to your stomach. did your actions portray you to be a creep to other people?
“dream, you can’t just say that, especially on stream.” sapnap scolded him, george also mumbling something.
“why can’t i? i feel creeped out by her, a public figure posting me all over her socials.” dream replied, tone serious.
you clicked off the video, before it replayed again. you couldn’t get yourself to rewatch that, to hear those words again.
almost crying, you told yourself to suck it up, that this wasn’t worth you crying.
although they were who you looked up as minecraft gamers, this wasn’t worth your breakdowns.
that was until, you opened your direct messages.
you shouldn’t have. you knew the dream team stans would easily hunt you down, to ask you to back off from creeping their idol off.
but no, you still opened your dms. you expected a normal dm, ones that say they support you or some of your friends sending you memes through instagram.
what you didn’t expect was to see a flood of threats.
some said “kill yourself, you don’t deserve a spot on earth after what you did.” and “back off and leave my mans.”
it got worse from there. you thought maybe it’s just the dms, but you didn’t expect it to blow up more, with people tagging you with photos on instagram and twitter. people “cancelling” you.
you didn’t understand how this blew up like this. you were even more baffled to see some of your supporters sending you threats, too.
was this what you deserved?
you weren’t one to make rash decisions, nor were you a suicidal person.
you felt stupid. just because you supported big youtubers, you get this type of treatment?
the threats, the dm, never stopped. for three whole months, you had to deal with the never ending mean comments on your social media. you thought it would die down.
it came to the point of seeing your address and your phone number all over the internet. you never thought it would lead to this.
you didn’t know what to do anymore.
not long after, people started showing up to your apartment.
sure, your apartment didn’t have the best of security, which you blamed no one but yourself for being a public figure and living somewhere with little to no security.
they started with knocking on your door during ungodly hours. next was mailing weird stuff or sending stuff to your house. lastly, which tipped you off was that they would vandalize your apartment.
they would egg your front door, pee, or spray paint your walls of the outside.
you couldn’t handle it anymore.
soon enough, you knew you had to stand up for yourself. you had to call the police.
and that was exactly what you did. you called the authorities, which made the brave teenagers leave you alone.
while they were egging your house and making your life miserable, you knew this was the only time for you to make a rash decision. to leave the country, to somewhere no one else would fine you at. somewhere unpredictable, that no one would expect you to go.
it took a lot for you to book a plane ticket, box up your belongings and move to a completely different country, away from your hometown, florida.
you loved it in florida. though it was humid all the time, you enjoyed it. now that you had to leave, you only had a little while to cherish it before you leave it all behind.
and your family, your friends. the ones you’ve grown up with, ones you’ve grown to love and cherish. you had to leave that too. and without telling them too much information.
that hurt the most, needing to leave your loved ones behind, to start a new life, to start afresh.
-
DREAM’S POV
i didn’t know what was happening. one thing added onto another and soon it was out of control.
i didn’t say anything at the start, not thinking it would go this far. i didn’t know to what extent my fans would go.
sure, i saw all the things happening, but i didn’t do anything to stop it.
i saw her address and phone number all over social media, and did nothing about it.
george and sapnap said something, and pushed me to do something about it, but i didn’t. i was stubborn.
speaking of, it’s been months since i heard anything about her from her herself, everything i see is from my fans or hers, wondering where she is.
should i be worried?
-
YOUR POV
you left florida. the only people you told were your parents and your childhood friend, not trusting anyone else.
what you told them was vague, that you needed to leave, away from the US. specifically, you moved to Australia.
you made a decision to not live near the city, but the outskirts.
you were lucky that you weren’t a spender and you made more than enough money to make the decision to leave so suddenly.
lucky for you, you went to college and had a degree in law, so you didn’t need to worry about not having a job.
you never thought you’d make use of your degree this early in your life, thinking that youtube and being a content creator would last a little while longer.
you had to change you hairstyles, your fashion in general since you had to be in a more professional setting. although it was hard transitioning from a casual wear and having crazy coloured hair to wearing pant suits or formal dresses and going back your natural colour.
three years. it took you three full years for you to even think of visiting your parents in florida again. also, given the fact that you had a stable job and you couldn’t up and leave.
but recently, you were offered to work at another law firm in florida. you were happy to tell that to your family back home but at the same time, you were hesitant to go back to your nightmares.
but you braved yourself, since you missed your family dearly.
now, you were sitting on your desk in your cozy home, finalizing up the last of your move, like getting a house back in florida, this time with a better security just in case.
boxes of your clothes and belongings went first, to reach your new house there before you did so it was easier for you, not having to worry about your stuff.
you asked none of your family’s help, not wanting to burden them. instead you told them to just meet you at a restaurant you booked for you and your family and friends for dinner about three weeks after you landed.
although they protested, saying it was too long until they can see you again, you told them to not worry and that you were going to use those three weeks to start working at the new law firm.
you decided to take a straight flight from australia to florida, not wasting any time. although it was almost a twenty-two hour long flight, you sat throug and got to your hometown safely.
you didn’t know what was going on with the three boys you used to adore, since you didn’t have social media anymore.
but you didn’t mind it, it was peaceful.
two weeks since you’ve stepped foot in florida again. it felt amazing to breathe your hometown air again. it was refreshing.
you have fully settled in your new house, and workplace. you were glad to have met your co-workers. they were all super welcoming and made sure you weren’t left behind in anything.
so far, your transition from australia to florida has been smooth, and you weren’t worried about anything.
you got a car since you’ve arrived, so that you could travel easily from one place to another.
not to brag, but. you were making enough money to live a lavish lifestyle. a big house and a pretty expensive car, and that didn’t even make a dent in your bank account.
you were proud to see that you achieved all this yourself, and only within a couple of years.
you were just excited to meet your family in real life instead of facetime.
finally, the day of the dinner with your family came. unfortunately, you had to take a case in the afternoon, so you had to come to dinner in your work pant suit, with a turtleneck and a little late.
they understood it and told you not to worry about it, and that they would just seat themselves by your name instead of waiting for you. you promised you’d pay their dinners and apologized once again.
the sound of your heels comforted you as you walked from the valet to the restaurant. you were a little nervous to meet them again face to face after three years. but you couldn’t wait to catch up with them and tell them all about your work life that you could never tell them during the facetime calls.
you smiled to yourself, thinking nothing could go wrong. and nothing could really go wrong anyways, it was just a dinner after all.
but you hadn’t expected the three boys you used to idolize to be eating dinner at the same restaurant you and your family would be at, specifically, opposite your table.
you walked in the restaurant, telling the front of the house that you had a table reserved under your name and that you were pretty sure the rest of your family was already there.
she politely told you to walk alongside her, leading you to your family.
you weren’t paying attention to your surroundings. you were solely focused on seeing your family that you didn’t know that there were extra pair of eyes staring at you.
you smiled as your family saw you. your mum crying while standing up to hug you tightly, as she once did three years ago.
you could hear your friends shout your name loudly, as if to tell the whole world that you were finally here.
“don’t cry, i’m staying, no more going back to australia, i swear.” you told your mum, trying to reassure her that you were fine and that you were not going to leave her again, since she hadn’t stopped crying.
you moved to hug your dad, who had been patiently waiting for his turn after his wife. “you look great, kiddo.” you thanked him as he complimented your professional look.
you sat down, somewhere in the middle, between your family, opposite of your parents so that everyone could clearly see and talk to you easily.
with how noisy you family were, you were sure the entire restaurant knew your name and where you had just moved from.
they asked you about australia, what was it like to work there, away from your family. you caught up with every single one of them.
“don’t you live in that really expensive neighbourhood right now?” one of your childhood friends asked.
you winked at her, discreetly trying to answer her question. the whole table shouted and congratulated you for making it this far, in only a matter of short years.
you covered your face, shy, not wanting this part of your life to be told to everyone in the restaurant.
-
GEORGE’S POV
there she was. the person whose life we practically ruined. luckily, we didn’t ruin it all for her. i guess she made use of her brains and is working a normal job.
“dude.” i tried to attract the other two boys’ attention.
“i know.” both of them answered me.
“she’s rich rich, huh?” sapnap almost chuckled but was totally serious saying that.
“yup.” dream.
ah yes, clay. the man dream himself. sapnap and i tried to persuade him into making it right for her, for you.
sure, he had said those mean words, but he can take it back. three years ago, at least.
she disappeared three years ago. vanished. no one knew where you went. some say you moved out of the country, which deemed to be true. couple of years later people started to find out what you worked as, but i tried my best to help get rid of the information
but they just couldn’t pinpoint where. you basically uped and left everything.
and there was time to apologize, but it had been to late.
i thought she died, quite frankly. i didn’t want to be the cause of someone dying. well at least, not me, but my friend.
now us three were seated in a pretty formal and expensive restaurant to eat dinner. and we did not expect to see her here.
she came in a little late, wearing a very professional wear. seemed like you went to work before this.
i knew you were a lawyer, we three knew that since our fans found it out.
she looked completely different. hair not her usual crazy colours. just seeing her in heels baffled me. she was wearing something formal and that wasn’t what you usually wore, years ago.
-
DREAMS’S POV
she’s beautiful.
not that she wasn’t before.
but this version of her was different. her in her pant suit, in heels. a turtleneck under her blazer.
she looked elegant. classy. rich.
i mean, she is rich.
her family screamed when she told them where she lived. and man, that neighbourhood only had rich people. it had one of the best, if not the best security you could ask for.
it wasn’t easy to buy a house there. even if you had the money, you’d need a certain bank card to be allowed to even be shortlisted.
and if i saw it correctly, she drives a bentley that was just parked by a valet kid.
damn. she is one successful woman.
i know, how could i think this much of her, how dare i when i didn’t even apologized. i didn’t even try.
in fact. i did. even before she went MIA, fully on social media, i sent her direct messages everywhere. she never replied to any of them.
and i knew no one that had her phone number. and soon enough, no one had heard from her in three years.
and now she’s back. more beautiful than ever.
i needed to speak to her i couldn’t live with the guilt that stayed for these past three years.
my fans, my so called supporters made her life a living hell and i almost did nothing to stop it.
i’m sure she hates me. but i have to try somehow, right?
question is, she didn’t have a social media anymore, and i can’t just speak to her now that she was sitting opposite my table.
i kept on pondering as i heard a little bit of her conversation, about her life.
i guess she moved to australia, and worked in a lawfirm in the outskirts. so unpredictable of her. no one would’ve guessed that in a million years.
i watched as i see her smile as she listened to what her parents were saying.
i cherished the smile since i didn’t know when was the next time i’d see her.
she asked the waiter for the bill, covering the whole cost of her and her huge family’s meal.
damn, this girl is too rich for her own good.
she puts down the bill on the table, also leaving a generous tip for the waiter that served them. she stood up to walk after her family, needing to pass my table.
since she had been oblivious to her surroundings, i didn’t expect her to spot us, to notice us.
but i was wrong.

International Herzog Week
A/N: hello! i hope you enjoy this dumb little fic about andrew and his herzog nonsense. 2.6k of fluff, if you’re into that :)
ao3
—
It was the third week of lockdown, or maybe even the fourth – it was hard to keep track of anything related to time nowadays. The days were becoming less discernible and everything seemed to still. The birds still chirped at daybreak but there was a certain quiet that filled the air.
It wasn't all that different from the previous few months and by this time, you had fallen into a comfortable routine at home. The gradual crescendo of your alarm pulled you from the depths of sleep. Unlike most mornings, the sound wasn't jarring but felt more like a gentle tap on the shoulder signaling the start of the day. As you stretched your legs, the duvet crinkled along with your movement and a quiet grumble was heard on your left. Blinking in the sunlight, you turned to face Andrew, whose brows were set in a slight frown as he stirred awake.
"Morning, you," you said softly, your voice raspy from sleep.
No reply was heard from him, but the corners of his mouth turned up slightly as he placed his hand over yours underneath the duvet.
You had gone to bed without him last night, knowing his tendencies to stay up late. He had no fixed schedule to follow and, unsurprisingly, his sleep schedule was completely messed up. Seeing him awake before lunch would be a rare occurrence.
"What time did you go to bed last night?" you asked as you peeled yourself away from the warmth that you both had created under the duvet.
"Four"
"Oh god, your lifespan is steadily decreasing," you chuckled as you draped your legs over the side of the bed.
You padded over to his side of the bed, giving him a peck on the forehead. “You can go back to sleep, I gotta start work soon,” you said gently. He reached out to grasp the hand that hung loosely by your side and his eyes opened to a sliver, just enough to catch a glimpse of your face.
"Morning, love," he said, voice only slightly above a whisper.
"Yeah, morning," you let out a quiet laugh, "go back to sleep,"
“Stay here,” he whined, tugging your hand.
“You know I’d love to,” you huffed, “you’re just rubbing it in now”
You shook his hand off yours in mock anger, letting his hand fall from your grip down to the side of the bed. “Babe…” he pouted. You picked his hand up, giving it a soft kiss before placing it on his chest, “Work awaits, my love.”
As you headed towards the bathroom to freshen up for the day, you peered back into the bedroom. Andrew had rolled himself up in the duvet on your side of the bed, his feet sticking out slightly. Your heart skipped a beat upon seeing his hair messily splayed over his face and the pillow - How lucky you were to be waking up to this every morning.
—
You chose to set up your workstation on the large wooden table in the dining room. There was a study in the house, but the gentle morning light that entered through the big glass windows of the dining room gave it a warmth that was irresistible. Preoccupied with replying and sending out emails and with a few zoom meetings here and there, the morning passed quickly. The initially steaming mug of coffee you placed beside your laptop had gone cold, you realized as you absentmindedly took a sip from it.
“Morning... again” You heard Andrew call out.
You looked up from your laptop, then back at the time displayed at the corner of the screen – 1pm. “Good afternoon to you too,” you said, shaking your head.
His hair was tied loosely in a bun and his glasses were set slightly crooked on his face. He wore a grey sweater that barely covered his torso and a sleepy smile.
“Time doesn't mean anything anymore,” He yawned as he strolled over to where you sat, threading his hand through your hair. You paused your typing, glancing up at him smiling, “imagine if my camera was on.”
His eyes widened comically as he jerked out of frame, “Jesus, that would be awkward,”
You chuckled under your breath, gesturing towards the kitchen “There are some blueberries left, can you finish them before they go bad?”
He nodded in accordance and headed to the kitchen to fix up some food. With the weather deep in autumnal bliss, it was probably going to be another round of oatmeal.
Some clinking of spoons on bowls and kettle boiling sounds later, Andrew emerged from the kitchen, a bowl of oatmeal held in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.
He placed them carefully on the table, plopping down opposite you. You reached over the table to pull the saucer below his cup over, taking a sip of the warm coffee. The bitter liquid felt rough on your tongue as it flowed down the back of your throat. Your nose scrunched up involuntarily.
“That’s what you get for stealing my coffee,” Andrew teased.
“I’ll never understand the voluntary torture of black coffee,” you grumbled, “at least it was warm.”
Andrew pulled the saucer back to his side of the table. A comfortable silence blanketed the dining room. The clicking of your keyboard and the sounds of his spoon hitting the bowl padded the silence while the muted rustling of dried leaves could be heard through the windows.
“Is there such thing as insanity among penguins…” A voice broke the silence.
You sat upright with confusion, looking over your computer screen at Andrew. He was staring intently at his phone, his brows furrowed with concentration.
The voice that came from his phone went on about insane penguins and something about their certain death. As you listened, you stifled in some laughter. What was this video about? Andrew, on the other hand, seemed a little too invested. You watched in amusement as he replayed certain parts of the video.
“Bit morbid for a Monday morning,” you pointed out.
“It’s Herzog,” he said conclusively as he looked up from his phone
“Her who?”
“Herzog, he’s a German filmmaker.”
“Ah…” you nodded. You still had no idea who Herzog was.
“Look,” he thrusted his phone in your direction, leaving you to look at a lone penguin waddling away into the mountains.
“And here, he is heading off into the interior of the vast continent. With 5000 kilometers ahead of him, he’s heading towards certain death,” the narrator of the video concluded.
“Poor guy,” you said as you looked up at Andrew bemusedly.
“Poor lad indeed.” He sighed.
“Why are you watching a video about deranged penguins?” You chuckled.
“I dunno,” he shrugged, “It popped up on youtube.”
“So this is why you sleep at 4 in the morning, huh…”
“No! I was watching American news and ehm… ” He trailed off, his eyes looking upwards in search for words , “...Working.”
“He was a good looking man, that Herzog,” He said as he turned his phone to you, showing you an old black and white photo of a mustached man. You gave him a murmur of assent.
“Thot… Hah!” he huffed a laugh. You stared at him quizzically.
He tried to stamp down his laugh, considering the calm of the afternoon but he was too pleased with his joke. “That… Herzog…. Over…” He struggled out between fits of laughter, “...There”
“Fuck, that was bad,” You offered him smile, “commendable attempt, though”
“No?” He tilted his head forward, looking the slightest bit affronted, “It’s so bad that it’s good, though...”
You shook your head. Andrew frequently made jokes that were questionable at best, and you’d give him shit for it usually, but the smile that was plastered across his face as he thought about his dumb joke was so endlessly warm that any snide remark you had disappeared immediately. His smile had a warmth that filled the room, one that danced over your skin and surrounded you in a tight embrace. You looked at him fondly as he struggled to maintain his composure.
“Oh my god, should I post it?” He said, his voice dripping in childlike glee.
“No!” you exclaimed, “I swear to god, don't do it Andrew”
He raised an eyebrow almost like he was challenging you. “I’m gonna post it”, he grinned. He tapped away on his phone, smiling to himself.
—
Andrew had finished his breakfast - or lunch - and went to the kitchen to wash the dishes. He’d taken your empty cup as well, a sweet gesture you took a mental note of - remember to do something nice for Andrew sometime today.
As he left the table, you took the chance to check your phone. Scrolling through Instagram, you saw that he had posted a story.
“Jesus christ, Andrew...” you mumbled to yourself, maybe slightly too loudly because you heard him call out from the kitchen.
“It’s good, isn't it?”
“You posted the THOT thing and 20 million videos about the penguins?”
“Yeah, it’s so cool!” He protested, popping his head out of the kitchen door, “and the joy of discovering insane penguins deserves to be shared!”
“Mmm… Morning affirmations with Herzog,” you said, fluttering your fingers.
His eyes widened in revelation, “That’s fucking gold. Hold on, I’ve gotta post that too.” He grabbed the hand towel as he dried his hands briskly.
“Oh no, what have I done...”
“You being a genius is what you’ve done” he looked at you endearingly as he snatched up his phone from the table, “Can I steal the morning affirmations line?”
“Go ahead,” you said, “it’s not that funny though.”
“It’s brilliant,” he beamed, bending down to place a quick kiss on the top of your head. “Think I’m gonna be in the studio today, good luck with work, yeah?”
—
As the day went on, you busied yourself with more work. You would be lying if you said that you stopped to stretch periodically. It was more like forgetting that your body existed for an entire hour while typing in a hunched position until realizing that, wow, your neck ached. You looked at the time - 5pm. As you rubbed your smarting eyes, you decided it was time for a break.
You noticed that Andrew hadn't emerged from the studio yet. He could spend hours on end in that room, either working on lyrics or fiddling with his guitars or humming along to the piano. The studio was one of your favorite places in the house, because it felt so much like him. Notebooks scribbled with odds and ends of ideas strewn on the floor, the thermostat always set a bit warmer than the rest of the house, the sound of music and occasionally his voice filling the room as he tinkered around with ideas.
From time to time, the room would be livelier with musician friends coming over to work on material. You'd stay out of the studio when it got too crowded. Lately, since it’s been just the two of you, the studio started to feel like the most intimate place in the house.
Remember to do something nice for Andrew sometime today, the thought popped back into your mind.
Doting on each other wasn't a typical thing you two would do, it was more small gestures that showed you cared about each other. Those tiny gestures of affection were usually pleasant surprises and received with much tenderness. On one particularly bad work day, you remember how he wrote you a sweet letter and hid it underneath your pillow for you to find it the next morning. When you found the letter and thanked him for it, he blushed a deep red and hid his face behind a curtain of his hair, smiling sheepishly. Thank god, I thought you were going to find that too cheesy, you remember him saying.
Since today was a studio day, you figured he could do with a warm cup of tea. Pulling the sleeves of your sweater down to your palm, you gave your limbs a much-needed stretch and shuffled to the kitchen to make some tea for the both of you.
Precariously balancing two steaming mugs in both your hands, you carefully walked to the studio, trying not to scald yourself with hot tea.
The door to the studio was ajar and through the gap you could hear the faint strumming of a guitar float through the hallway leading to it.
“Can I come in?”
The guitar strums stopped as Andrew chirped, “Yeah, come in! I missed you.”
“I’m only 3 doors down, love,” you said as you pushed the door open with your foot.
“Yeah, but it’s too cold…” His eyes travelled to where you stood in the doorway.
“Tea?” The excitement was apparent in his voice.
You handed one mug to him, nodding, “careful, it’s hot.”
You headed to the small couch tucked into the corner of the studio and set your mug on the table next to it. A wool blanket was draped haphazardly over the couch so you balled it up, using it as a pillow of sorts. He placed his guitar on a rack nearby and stalked over to where you sat, tea mug held tightly in his hands. You shuffled to one side of the couch to give him some space but it still seemed like the couch was far too small for the both of you.
As he sat down, he leaned over and gave your shoulder a gentle kiss, muttering quietly into your hair, “Thank you for the tea, love. Sorry I didn't come out much, I’ve just been trying to hammer out this idea that’s been swimming in my head for far too long.”
“It’s okay,” you said reassuringly. Your hand reached out to his face that was placed near your shoulder, stroking his jaw with slow, hypnotic movements. He hummed softly, leaning into your touch.
“What was the idea about?”
“Herzog,” he stated plainly.
“I hate you, Andrew, I really do,” you said incredulously.
“You don't,” he grinned, “but anyway, it was just a riff that begged to be completed. I don't have lyrics yet.”
“About the Herzog thing, though…” He began, “People aren't getting it.” He seemed equal parts disappointed and humored.
“Of course they aren't!” You let out an amused laugh, “I think you should clear it up. Instagram really isn't fit for weird shit, maybe keep that to twitter.”
“I’m off twitter, though.”
“Suck it up, big man,” you teased.
“Okay fine, I’ll tweet about it,” he sulked, reluctantly unlocking his phone, “What do I even say?”
“Happy international Herzog week, folks!” you joked.
“You are too good at this,” he turned his head to stare at you in awe.
“My god, please don't tell me you're using that too…” He stayed silent, reacting only with a sly smile.
“You’ll have to start crediting me for all those punchlines...” you hesitated, “actually, no, don't. They're not that good, it’s better if people think it’s you.”
He chuckled and gave your side a small shove, “I think it’s hilarious.”
“Can you italicize stuff on twitter?” He asked.
“No… Oh wow you’re going all out, huh?”
“Only the best for your joke,” he said, giving you a playful wink.
You pulled yourself closer to him and draped your legs over his, his sweatpants folding underneath yours. The warmth of your bodies meeting gave you an immeasurable sense of comfort and security. One of his hands rested on your thigh while the other was used to type his very complex tweet. As his eyes stayed fixed on his phone, his index finger absentmindedly drew circles on the fabric of your sweatpants. Melting into his gentle touch, you closed your eyes, making a mental note to maybe move your workstation to the studio instead.

Top 10 Kpop Boy Group Releases of 2020, According to Me
My overall opinion of boy group releases this year was meh, but there were of course some absolute gems. Playlists on Spotify and YouTube.
10. "Mayday" - VICTON (June 2)
I have such a thing for dark, melodramatic EDM and borderline creepy instrumentals. The way you can feel this instrumental in your entire body is one of my favourite things about it and for most of the time spent ranking these songs, it was actually in the top 5. It's definitely VICTON's best song to date. It does start to feel a little monotone in the second chorus but it's revived by the bridge and final chorus.
9. "LUPIN" - DONGKIZ (March 13)
Funky and exciting. If you haven't listened to this, you need to. The choreography is a major selling point too - I'm obsessed with the magic canes and the fancy footwork. DONGKIZ as a whole are a super underrated group. I could listen to this all day.
8. "MMM" - TREASURE (November 13)
This song is too addicting. I'm a very big fan of its energy and all of its parts are memorable. I especially love the mini-breakdown in the second half of the chorus and love that the beat only gets crazier towards the end. This song just continues to throw new things at you until it, unfortunately, ends. TREASURE debuted strong, and only kept that strength for their next releases.
7. "Breath" - GOT7 (November 23)
I can't think of a nice way to phrase this, but I didn't expect GOT7 to release a song this good. A lot of their recent releases haven't really scratched that spot for me, but this one totally did. It's super light and catchy and I love the whistle motif a lot. I love that it doesn't hold off on showing its chorus off, so I can enjoy it more.
6. "Zombie" - DAY6 (May 11)
The lyrics are so relatable for me and I love that they released this song in English as well as Korean so I can put both on repeat all day. DAY6 have yet to disappoint me (in terms of music, anyway) and I have nothing but praise for this song and their talents in writing and performing it. It's such a good cry song and I hope I never forget it exists.
5. "Daisy" - PENTAGON (October 12)
What can I say other than PENTAGON are literally amazing? The lyrics physically hurt me and you can really feel the emotion in this song in their voices as well. It's made even sweeter by the fact that Yanan is finally back!! One thing I love about recent PENTAGON releases is the use of Shinwon's deeper, raspier tone for key lines. By far the best part of this song is the ending, from that Yanan line to the true climax in the final chorus. I always have to replay that bit, it's too perfect.
4. "Make A Wish (Birthday Song)" - NCT U (October 12)
NCT are the kings of releasing bangers about sex. Shotaro couldn't have had a better debut song and I love the mix of members they used for this lineup (all the U lineups were great this year!). This song is so fucking catchy and the choreography is perfect too. I love the false ending too; this shit literally doesn't quit. The English version fucks even harder.
3. "Goblin (Favorite Boys)" - A.C.E (September 2)
Almost all of the points for this song are for that chorus. The way it hits and then carries that momentum without fail, to me, is just flawless. Really, from that first chorus, this song upholds its energy all the way to the end and it's so satisfying to listen to. A.C.E are literally one of the best boy groups in the game right now.
2. "God's Menu" - Stray Kids (June 17)
You all knew this would be on here. It's an absolute experience to listen to, and also watch! Rest assured, you'll be seeing this song on my Best Music Videos and Choreography lists. There wasn't much that could top this song this year. It doesn't stop serving from start to finish and you can't help but get into it.
1. "Back Door" - Stray Kids (September 14)
Well, if "God's Menu" was in second place, where else would this be? I really thought SKZ had given us the best boy group song of the year and then they did THIS barely 3 months later. Honestly, it's GM's cooler, sexier older sibling; everything GM did right, "Back Door" did better.

Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero
From the 16th of this month, March 2020, to the 15th of next month, April 2020, Games with Gold has the excellent platformer – Shantae: ½ Genie Hero. As long as you have an active Xbox Live or Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscription
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/56aa27270fe749604dc54abbf19faad3/0b85ea53f3445507-30/s540x810/9343a0cc645b61ae74e950c2977ca7dddd4f090a.jpg)
It's “FREE” to download during that period but even after April 15th, you can keep playing it, it won't leave your library and if you let your subscription expire it will still remain, you just can't play it.
I have had Gamepass for about a year now, I wanted to kind of document my journey and time with games on Gamepass and one of the first that I played when I got the service last year was Shantae: ½ Genie Hero. Unfortunately, this game is no longer available on the service and I thought back in September of 2019 that I had lost my chance to talk about it in a relevant sense, but lo and behold its back now – kind of, in a zombie-esque way.
The game expiring from Gamepass was actually the launching point for me to a Switch. It was my birthday in September and Shantae was just about to be removed from the service, great present Microsoft. I was kind of depressed that in this moment in my life that I had spent about a quarter of a year playing the game that was just going to up and leave. Now I could have bought it and at a discount but if I did that I would be getting just the base game that I was practically done with. I also had all this extra money from my birthday burning a hole in my pocket and instead doing something smart like putting towards my mortgage – I ended up buying a Switch to cheer me up. And what does the Switch have but the physical version of Shantae: ½ Genie Hero that includes all the DLC.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/02902a0395b79555b750d95eeb694485/0b85ea53f3445507-ac/s640x960/b4b4fe4258655caa6275f60f9bc0e5699cfaa7de.jpg)
THAT – and the fact that one of my favorite games of all time was just remade – Link's Awakening.
So I got those two games to cope with the fact that I wouldn't be able to play Shantae on Gamepass anymore in a few days ...but I had also gotten my wife a Switch Lite for our anniversary so I kind of wanted a reason to give it to them early and we had a Switcheversay on September 28th.
NERD!
On a side note of this tangent – I feel like I'm always a little behind with Nintendo, with my earliest exposure to Nintendo being no different. Way back in the dark ages of the early 1990s I was a Genesis Lad. After school I was in a program where I first got to play a Nintendo game, there were NES consoles, games and Ataris as well. While kids at school were telling me, “YA GOTTA PLAY Donkey Kong Country 2 and Mega Man X!” The cutting edge stuff of the time, I would root around and find other games like Donkey Kong Jr. and Mega Man 2 on NES. Now don't get me wrong, those were great games I loved then and still love now but I was behind the times. I just didn't have a Super Nintendo, like most of my peers that I went to school with. I just had the Sega. So when most were playing Super Mario World, Chrono Trigger and A Link to Past – I was playing Sonic... Sonic (Sonic 2)... and Sonic... (Sonic 3 but not & knuckles)
BUT Sonic is great!
When my friends had a Gameboy Advance, I still had a Gameboy Color. When the DS was the hot handheld, I got a Gameboy Advance, I got a 3DS around the time Fire Emblem Fates came out when it seemed like everyone was clamoring for a new portable technology and I got a Wii U when it was all but dead. As previous stated, I only got a Switch last September. Heck, I haven't even played the new Mary-o yet
Pushing forwarding in the way back machine to the time when I was a still a young teen, at the age of 14, I remember a Gameboy Color game came out that I really wanted to get – Shantae. I don't even know why I really wanted it other than it was a new Gameboy Color game when new Gameboy Color games weren't coming out. Like, I remember the Gameboy Advance came out about a year ago but I didn't need one according to my parents-
Me: Mom, can I get a Gameboy Advanced? Mom: You have Gameboy Advance at Home ::At home::
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0a22710b264a37103b53810c11c4486a/0b85ea53f3445507-99/s250x250_c1/d3b2e80a5a1cd6cb9f0ae85ad9ee0c94f51258ac.jpg)
So the impact of a new Gameboy Color game coming out - blew … me … away.
Of course - I didn't get that game either.
Now don't get me wrong, I still got games as a kid on birthdays and Christmas but I feel like the games I didn't get are the ones I look back at and think – If only...
(^I never had a Neo Geo but I wanted this game)
Love you Mom and Dad
Back to Shantae though
Tangents aside – why do I think I like this game?
Why is it when I played Half Genie Hero in June of 2019 did I really got hooked on it well until the end of summer? I play, play, played it – all the modes, collect the endings, the tedious achievements like Queen of the Seven Cheese where you have to beat Risky Boots by just chomping at her as a mouse doing 1 damage at at a time.... ugh! For achievements I even … gasp (teeth noise) … speed ran it. And successfully, not on my first attempt though! Or … at least successfully enough to get the endings and achievements. I've never speed ran a game before, at least on purpose. I drew bad fan art!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/588b5a44bb860f8d816744adebb7779d/0b85ea53f3445507-3f/s540x810/bf6563aaf158e9025d184a3cb5edbc42d33d0b04.jpg)
(^Unlike everything else on this post, I actually drew that [sorry])
For the first time in my life I even looked into Fan Fiction.
Which, on a side note, I don't recommend you look at most of the fan fiction that I’ve seen if you are at work.
The game really got its hooks into me and I'm not exactly sure why but I think I might know.
Well, it feels like a SEGA Genesis game – long story short.
Short story long - I think the best way to classify what kind of game this is, is Metroidvania. You have a mini map and you unlock powers that later allow you to explore the rest of the levels you had previous been to and there are collectibles and upgrades you can buy in game. As you play you can upgrade how Shantae attacks by purchasing upgrades for her hair whip attack or armor but the big mechanic is the transformations – you can turn into animals with varied attacks and abilities as well as some other inanimate objects and living things like this tree
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/983360dd8b976b5f752f952e94acc169/0b85ea53f3445507-37/s250x250_c1/51ec776330b8d1ee032608187ef510a2ad20bfe7.jpg)
- to help you better get across the stages and discover the secrets of Sequin Land.
I've also read its kind of Mega Man– ish which I had never really thought about before but yeah, because I do love some Mega Man. It has a lot of obstacles/the levels are kinds of obstacle courses like the early NES Mega Man games and there are two areas particularly in my mind – The factory in Mermaid Falls and the Hypno Baron's Castle part of the … Hypno Baron's Castle stage. Well most of it is actually like an obstacle course now that I think about it
The score is by Jake Kauffman and man, AND if I ever make a game I want that guy doing my music. I mentioned the factory part of Mermaid Falls before – the best track in the game and maybe even in any game I've ever heard is Counterfeit Mermaids, its such an earworm,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkXd26E_Ynw
I feel like this song and Neo Town Burning are the two best games
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yParHIzy1nA
You are going to be in the camp that one is better than the other (though Counterfeit Mermaids is clearly the superior track, ahem)
Its a great soundtrack, I find myself tuning into it during my commute to work and sometime even turning off my podcast or audio books to listen to this soundtrack (yes Even Neo Town Burning too). The game's lead voice actress according IMDB is Cristina Valenzuela (sometimes credited as Cristina Vee) who sings the games title theme that also appears in the first level, Scuttle Town the first time you play the level and also when you first boot up the game its there too. POW! Give it a listen – sample plays and fades. Its great. This soundtrack is really memorable and still in my rotation almost a year after I played it for the first time.
The characters themselves too are varied in personality and the styles are now toted as being“in high definition”.
Shantae is my least favorite but I think that works well in the sense of self insert. And that's not to say Shantae doesn't have a personality, she is kind of bubbly and she cares a lot about her ties such as to her family - such her uncle Mimic and her late mother - and to her friends. The three main friends that back Shantae during her journey (that also get their own adventure in the DLC)
Sky - a somewhat more responsible friend of your that is out to give you some counsel and a ride to each stage on her cool bird
Bolo – who offers a bit of comic relief
Rotty Tops the zombie that is a true friend that shows up to support you and cheer you on, in one time literally too.
By the way there is also Risky Boots (the best character, IMO) who is the larger than life antagonist to akin to a comic book villain.
But even with the “HD” graphics, and incredible score everything about just feels like … a Sega game. I can't really put it to words to do it justice, like, it has the essence of games I grew up with. I know a lot of people already had that nostalgia rush with Freedom Planet or Sonic Mania but I only just got Freedom Planet on Switch
Which is great so far, by the way
and Sonic Mania is on my to do pile
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/cad600003856defa79dcb73aaa50da31/0b85ea53f3445507-e7/s400x600/96f5210b0db487d2c470efb8fb35571400fd16f0.jpg)
so for me – Shantae was it.
I felt that joy like I was 5 years old playing Sonic 2 for the first time. I took me something embarrassing like 8 hours to beat the first time. But after I beat it, I immediately wanted to play it again. I almost NEVER want to replay a game after I beat it – Best case is I take a break and play it again in a year. While it took me a laughable amount of hours to beat the game the first time but by the time I was really invested and on the 3rd or 4th time replaying it, I was completing it in under 2 hours. I was looking up speed running strats and Youtube videos of people speed running the game to compare and contrast how I played the game. I never, ever thought that I would speed run a game. Super Metroid still takes me an embarrassing number of hours to play and I've beat that almost as many times as Shantae now.
Having played both the Xbox One and Switch versions they look pretty similar and seem to play about the same. I noticed that the game seems to run a bit better on the Xbox One and the load times aren't as long
So I really recommend you get this game. I'm super jealous if you've never played it, you get to experience it for the first time! If you don't have an Xbox One but have a Switch you can get the physical version for pretty cheap, used I got this copy for about $20 and it has all the game content. And with the DLC you can finally play as Risky Boots!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/90fb6d3ffc231ab61c0f039be1b4157e/0b85ea53f3445507-ad/s500x750/f3d26c4b58911f1a6f72a2dd44fc110b48872440.jpg)
It goes without saying that the game I am most excited for this year, 2020 is going to be Shantae and the Seven Sirens.
If you don't have an Xbox or a Switch, the game is also on PC too. Steam has sales, last time the Ultimate Edition was on sale it was only about $21 (show pic) and with a plug and play controls great.
And just as I was checking before posting this, it is on sale for $20.99 until March 30th, 2020
Its also on PS4, I guess if you don’t have any other options

DSA: Direct Selling and the Virtual Push because of COVID
“ Like most people, direct selling executives are crossing out travel and large in-person gatherings from their calendars. For an industry known for its relational appeal, eliminating the face-to-face factor should be crushing. But instead, many executives are reporting that they feel more connected to their teams than ever before and are experiencing record engagement.”
“I’ve been involved in more field events in the last two months than I have been since I started the company in 2014,” says MONAT President Stuart MacMillan. Connecting virtually has become part of the daily workflow for MacMillan and many direct selling executives like him, as their teams and distributors take part in trainings while experiencing the benefits of connecting from home for both small- and large-scale events. “I still don’t believe there’s any replacement for face-to-face, and our people are itching to get back together—both employees and the field,” MacMillan says. “But I think what we’ve learned is that between those opportunities to get together, there are better ways to do this.”
Increasing Engagement with Function and Fun
This shift to virtual has opened the event doors wider, allowing people who would normally be limited by family obligations or financial flexibility to participate. For SeneGence Founder and CEO Joni Rogers-Kante, virtual events have drastically impacted the company’s attendance numbers. “Only a percentage of distributors go to our events, and ours was never a huge percentage,” Rogers-Kante says. “But we have five times more distributors than we have ever had at a single seminar because it was online, and they just got to sit down and login.”
The SeneGence virtual event sought to emulate a lot of the function—as well as fun—of a live event by passing out virtual awards that instantly appeared across social media channels as names were announced, conducting drawings and shipping prizes to distributors’ houses. While their next company-wide in-person event has been postponed, the SeneGence team is already implementing plans for a conference that will take place in Tulsa. “We think it will be the largest event we’ve ever had because people are so excited to get back together, and we have so many new distributors who can’t wait to actually physically show up at a SeneGence event. We just know it’s going to blow everything we’ve done out of the water.”

10 Cents on the Dollar, 10 Times the Reach
Twenty-four hours after a recent Mannatech virtual live event, the entire 12-hour event was available for replay. The 6,500 unique visitors, representing a ballpark of 8,000 to 12,000 viewers who watched the virtual event live, quickly multiplied as people shared the content and participated after the event had ended. A traditional Mannatech event hosts 1,200 to 1,500 people.
“For one-tenth of the expense, we were able to connect with six to ten times the number of people we would have connected with,” says Mannatech CEO and President Al Bala. And although event product sales were one-third of the normal amount, Bala says it was offset by the savings in product transport to the event and the convenience of shipping it directly to consumers’ homes. “It was more efficient and definitely more profitable sales than we would have had normally.”
“Even though we aren’t all together, we see you!”
“Going virtual” has a simple ring to it, but executives in the driver’s seat know the challenging behind-the-scenes experience of sifting through broadcasting options and platforms. Arbonne, who planned to launch 13 new products at their live convention this year, suddenly had only a fraction of their usual preparation time to devise communication strategies that would build excitement while playing well through the screen. Social media, which has always assumed a role at Arbonne events, was now critical, and the company leaned hard into these social integrations. To allow the executive team space to focus on engaging with attendees through the chat function, much of the content was prerecorded.
“Virtual GTC 2020 was created in about four weeks, and because of the incredibly pressing deadline, we absolutely learned as we went,” says Arbonne Senior Director of Communications Kristen Gruber. Gruber’s social media team developed teasers, quizzes and other interactive content that posted throughout the event. “This provided a level of engagement to our audience to really say, ‘Even though we aren’t all together, we see you!’”
Despite the fog of uncertainty during the first few weeks of the stay at home orders, LegalShield dove headfirst into creating virtual experiences and may have been the first direct sales company in North America to pivot to an entirely live-streamed international convention on April 4. When it became clear that their planned live event would not take place, the company transformed the auditorium in their Oklahoma headquarters into a full studio with only three weeks’ lead time. From there, they offered 16 hours of training content and recognition from over 40 field leaders and live hosts to more than 10,000 viewers. In addition, more than 5,000 associates joined their two-day Zoom Breakout Trainings before the larger event.
“For one-tenth of the expense, we were able to connect with six to ten times the number of people we would have connected with.”— Mannatech CEO & President Al Bala.
“Our field leaders are extremely creative in using Zoom as a recruiting and training platform,” says LegalShield Network Division President Don Thompson. “They use breakout rooms to host associates and their guests after a presentation for a Q&A session and for associate interaction.”
To not only survive, but thrive in this unprecedented environment, LegalShield’s CEO Jeff Bell has cast a vision for the company as a “digital disruptor” who uses technology to fulfill their company’s mission. The focus for the company is not on their limitations, but rather on how they can innovate and improve and use the tools available to spread their message and keep the field engaged and excited. “We are not at the level of Netflix or CBS,” Bell says, “but we are getting smarter and more successful in producing engaging content.”
As companies expand their live-streams to their international markets, the existing cultural and language barriers will have to be considered. Elepreneurs Chief Impact Officer Garrett McGrath, who also serves as President of the Association of Network Marketing Professionals, is watching as these virtual events begin to take shape on a global, multi-lingual scale. Although these broader events are more complex, McGrath is encouraged by the existing platforms that can do the heavy lifting for the direct sales industry.
Vimeo, a tool the ANMP relies on for its broadcasts, is paired with remote translators who use the Interactio app—which McGrath describes as a flawless application—to tap into the livestream and recreate the content in their listeners’ language.
“All you have to have is a good originating broadcast quality, and that becomes the place from where everybody views the actual convention, even though we’re bringing people in from all over the world,” McGrath says.
Caution: Challenges Ahead
Everyone is more than eager to get back to normal and industry leaders are at the front of the line, hurriedly trying to recreate their office environment from thousands of satellite home offices scattered across the globe where their leaders live and now work. But as the world has quickly discovered, working separately but together has come with its own set of unique challenges, and large virtual events are not immune to these foibles.
Security has been a hot topic for Zoom users (LegalShield reported instances of “Zoom Bombers” during their first few training sessions before password protections halted any further disruptions), but for other, more complex broadcasting platforms, hacking isn’t as much of a concern. The security concern, according to Katapult Events President Erik Johnson, should be privacy. “I wouldn’t put anything out on a stream that you wouldn’t want the world to see,” Johnson says. “Someone at home is likely recording it whether you want them to or not, and it’ll be on YouTube by the end of the day.” For companies who live and die by FTC compliance, it’s a stern warning for leaders. Even if a distributor thinks they’re in a private virtual room with only top-tier leaders, there is great potential that their words will become public.
“Our field leaders are extremely creative in using Zoom as a recruiting and training platform. They use breakout rooms to host associates and their guests after a presentation for a Q&A session and for associate interaction.”— LegalShield Network Division President Don Thompson.
There will also be a fluency issue for older distributors who aren’t used to virtual interactions and for whom these new changes will require a steep learning curve. “I feel sorry for companies that are older and already have their culture set in stone because they’re going to have to switch at some point to this,” RevitalU CEO Andrew McWilliams says.
Even though virtual events are notoriously less expensive than their in-person counterparts, going too cheap can be very obvious. “A lot of people think they can just hop on Zoom and be fine,” says Johnson, who now produces SeneGence’s virtual events. The result of a frugal presentation, however, is fuzzy resolution, glitchy streaming and a visible mouse pointer on shared screens—not the high-quality presentation multimillion- and multibillion-dollar brands should attach their names to.
For the April SeneGence virtual event, Johnson utilized Vimeo for live streaming at the Enterprise level and set up studios at the Oklahoma and California SeneGence offices. With his crew and all of their gear at both locations, they connected the two offices live on camera for a high def broadcast that looked like prime time tv.
As physical events reemerge in the months to come, Johnson warns that virtual events should never be just a recorded version of the live event. Instead, he encourages leaders to plan for physical and virtual hybrids. For example, his crew is building a side stage that is reminiscent of the ESPN Sports Desk for the host of the virtual watch party at one of his client’s upcoming in-person events. Even though one large event will be happening, two different audiences with different attention spans will be watching. By having a dedicated host, he’ll be able to accommodate both.
Facebook Live Fright
As leaders who are used to delivering speeches from stages in loud rooms begin broadcasting from their kitchen table or home office to an audience they can’t see, they’re discovering that stage fright and Facebook Live fright are two different fears and require two different skill sets.
McGrath described his feelings about hosting an eight-hour live event as somewhere between nerve-wracking and exciting. He and wife Sylvia, Elepreneurs Chief Experience Officer, introduced live speakers and announced prerecorded segments and then watched comments and emojis unfold in real-time over an eight-hour stretch.
The stamina required to create these engaging content segments back-to-back for that length of time is similar to expecting sprints in the middle of a marathon. “The biggest concern you always have is: can you keep people’s attention for 12 and a half hours?” Bala says.
But it’s not just the audience’s attention that leaders are concerned about. “I don’t think you can underestimate what it does to the speaker’s energy to talk to a crowd,” Bala says. “When you’re a speaker, it engages you at a different level. You can’t replicate that virtually.”
An Attention Shift
Change can be a dirty word in an industry rooted in tradition, and that’s why McWilliams is choosing to embrace this time of disruption. As people readily accept digital platforms out of necessity, McWilliams says this temporary shift to virtual will now be permanent for his young organization. “I’m never going back,” he says. “It has been the most cost-effective thing we’ve ever done.” In April, RevitalU experienced double-digit percentage growth over March. After their first major virtual event on May 2, the company was up almost 55 percent over April by May 7. “It does not feel like a blip on a radar screen,” he says. “What it feels like is a shift of attention.”
These live virtual events with openly visible comment boxes bring with them a lack of control, but the effect, McGrath says, is unparalleled. “We were very aware that people don’t want a presentation; they want a conversation,” he says. “There’s a risk with a conversation because you don’t know what the other person is going to say, but that’s why people show up: because it hasn’t gone through the corporate whitewash and hasn’t been overly sanitized. It’s spontaneous and real.”
“We were very aware that people don’t want a presentation; they want a conversation.”– Garrett McGrath, Elepreneurs Chief Experience Officer
In the short term, physical events aren’t possible, but even when the restrictions from the global pandemic are lifted, some executives are expecting a slow return as people remain gun-shy about close social interaction and even handshakes. McGrath says the question of when things will go back to normal is the wrong question. “The real question is, between now and then, can we document a plan that people can rely on as proven to work today?”
Is Virtual Really a Success?
There is no industry-wide metric for success when it comes to this new switch to virtual. Still, as many leaders face pent up demand and anxiety swirling around the new normal that has been thrust upon them, the measurement for success will depend upon each company’s specific goals and missions.
For affiliate-focused companies, comment engagement on a Facebook Live event could provide a gauge for distributor reach. Many executives are now reporting a sharp increase in sales during and after virtual events—when distributors would usually be socializing or traveling home—and are using that as their new benchmark for success.
Virtual can’t mimic the adrenaline rush of a packed arena, but industry leaders are approaching this new playing field with cautious optimism. For now, there is convincing emerging data that pivoting to virtual is doing little to harm the health of direct selling companies, and might actually be making a once-in-a-lifetime paradigm shift that offers a glimpse into where the future of the industry might be headed.
“This is here to stay,” Bala says. “It’s just going to become another tool in our toolbox to create that engagement with our associates and for associates to create engagement among themselves.” DSN
VirBELA: The New Virtual Headquarters
Virtual events may be booming, but it will be finding ways to digitally recreate the ordinary daily interactions that will be key for direct selling to weather this storm of isolation and uncertainty. RevitalU has found its solution through VirBELA, a technology platform that allows companies to create a virtual headquarters. With VirBELA, people can come together formally for events, like a conference room where they’ll hear keynote speakers, as well as informally, like in virtual hallways between sessions where they can start up casual conversations.
Through avatars and multi-dimensional rooms, users can interact digitally in a personal way that doesn’t create the Zoom fatigue that comes with endless video chats. “It gives you autonomy to interact with whom you want to interact with and go where you want to go,” says VirBELA Founder and President Alex Howland, Ph.D. “When you read a book, you’re not paying attention to the black and white words or pages; you’re getting immersed into the book. The same thing happens with VirBELA. Your brain starts to feel like you’re physically in the room with colleagues.
Glenn Sanford, eXp Realty Founder and CEO, has been using VirBELA as his company’s virtual campus since 2016. During that time, he grew his number of agents from 900 to 29,000 from the virtual headquarters that he mans from the casita over his garage. In April of this year, his success with the virtual platform led him to join the VirBELA team as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer so that he could extend his knowledge and experience with simulated campuses to other business leaders navigating these unprecedented waters.
Sanford offered advice to McWilliams, one of the newest CEOs to become an adopter of the VirBELA technology, by explaining that the simulated campus will only work if McWilliams insists that people meet him in his virtual Planet RevitalU office, rather than picking up the phone. “We have an office, and I don’t care if it opens back up,” McWilliams says. “We’re going to make the physical office voluntary. For our business practices and working together, it’s going to be done online.”
Virtual Event Tips
Take your virtual event to the next level with these tips from production expert and consultant to the direct selling industry, Erik Johnson of Katapult Events.
“How good your first event is will determine if they buy your next.” — Erik Johnson, Katapult Events President
Forget Zoom. Use Vimeo to live stream.
Prerecording some content eliminates the potential for user error, streamlines transitions and trims the boring out of stories.
Use permissions to put events and event extras behind paywalls or passwords. Erik uses Phinkific.com to preserve special VIP treatments, like a Q&A with the keynote speaker, for specific distributor ranks and above.
Hire a professional. Picture-in-picture, title animation and HD screen shares matter.
Show others what they’re missing. Even if you’re charging for a virtual event, share a short segment onto Facebook Live for things like new product announcements. At the end of the segment, offer viewers the opportunity to buy access to the rest of the event. It’s a double bang for your production buck and a quick upsell.
Everything has to be faster. What might have taken you four minutes to say on a live stage, should take you 90 seconds when speaking to a virtual audience.
Shoot with two cameras. A simple wide shot and a close up will give your broadcast movement and will be more likely to hold attention.
A high-quality mic is just as important as good video. If they can’t hear you well, they will leave.
Don’t be afraid to hire an outside emcee. Professional talent can take your event from stagnant to funny, drive the energy of the show, and be in charge of throwing it to different hosts—chief executives, distributors—to keep the show moving.
Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. Get rid of the extra stuttering and “um” sounds and give your team the chance to feel the flow of the event.
Double-dip your filming days. When broadcasting virtual events, you’ll likely have the members of your executive teams and an elaborate, staffed studio all in one place. Use this opportunity to film upcoming product launches, expand your expert interviews and update your opportunity presentation.
Five Ways to Simplify Your Pivot to Virtual
Don’t confuse virtual with automated. Even though there are no smoke machines and spotlights, this is not a set-it-and-forget-it type of environment. Building an interactive experience is key to getting virtual events right.
Prepare your team. Expect worst-case scenarios and plan how they’ll be addressed on the spot to protect your brand.
Choose your comment comfort level. Instantly visible, unfiltered feedback may complement the tone of a keynote address, or it might exacerbate the awkwardness of lackluster attendance. Pick an audience participation level that matches the event vibe.
Tap into existing partner platforms. Seamlessly charge registration for large events and automatically capture potential customer contact information. (Eventbrite, PayPal, Pardot and HubSpot are good leads for these functions)
Deliver an in-person experience. Pick two or three elements of your usual in-person events that can be creatively replicated while apart. If distributors have come to expect a lavish lunch break at events, send restaurant or food delivery gift cards to registrants ahead of time. These small gestures will build community while making a memorable impact.

hi howdy hello!! i go by jess and this is my first time playing my sweet bb girl, so i’m pumped! more about my girl audrey below the cut!
❛ ( SARAH JEFFERY ) ◈ dude, shut up ! AUDREY ROSE from DESCENDANTS is on screen. their fans swear they’re just DETERMINED & OUTGOING, but we’ve all seen their JEALOUS & STUBBORN side ! according to TRUMAN WIKIA, they’re TWENTY-ONE years old, BISEXUAL, & identify as CISFEMALE ( SHE/HER ). they’re currently a STUDENT & are RELIEVED about life in truman. luckily they have HER DIARY & HER SONGBIRD NECKLACE with them & can visit THE FAIRY COTTAGE whenever they want. penned by JESS.
sooooooooo confession: i’ve never watched a descendants movie from start to finish 😬 I know! crazy considering I’m playing a character from the movies, but like, have you guys ever seen a character and just be like wOW, that is My Type of character? cause that’s what happened with audrey. descendants 3 came out and was trending, and I checked the tag and like was 👀👀👀 to audrey to the point that I watched queen of mean and got HOOKED. caught a replay of the movie and watched all the audrey parts while skipping over the rest. since then I’ve been in love with my girl and she’s been on my mind so much that I’m returning to rp after a small break to play my girl. In preparation I skimmed through descendants 1 & 3, and adurey’s youtube short story so I’m good to GO.
CANON LIFE
“A lifetime of plans, gone. Our family status, gone. Audrey, you were supposed to be his Queen, and you let him slip through your fingers. Your mother could hold onto a prince in her sleep.”
daughter of sleeping beauty and prince phillip, princess audrey has been groomed since she was a child by her grandmother to become the queen of auradon. she’d been friends with prince ben since she was a child, and was expected to marry him when she got older.
grew up used to the finer things of life, and as such, audrey was a bit self-absorbed and spoiled. became the most popular girl in school due to her status and beauty. was cheer captain. finally became romantically involved with ben at some point in high school. life was going exactly as planned.
then ben decided to invite 4 villain kids (vks) from the isle of the lost to auradon, and everything went to shit. the stark black and white, good vs. evil mentality was deeply ingrained in audrey’s psyche, so she was very much AGAINST the idea of any isle kids coming over. convinced the vks were up to no good, she never warmed up to the them, and bullied them (mostly mal) at times. and you know what? she was RIGHT
mal used a love potion to steal her boyfriend, who then humiliated audrey by serenading mal during a tourney match, where audrey was cheering at. no one gave two shits though?? or suspected foul play at all?? they just cheered and were like “ah, cool! our soon-to-be-king has suddenly declared his love for this new vk who’s only been here for a few days! how awesome and totally natural !! “
audrey was still plenty popular by the end of the movie, but her fairy godmothers decided to treat adurey to a spa trip, which turned into an extended trip that required her needing summer school bc she missed so much school (aka why she was absent for descendants 2)
by the time audrey came back in descendants 3, everyone was ALL up mal’s ass crack. ben proposed to mal in front of everyone, serenading her with the SAME song he did in the first movie when he ceremoniously proclaimed his love for mal while simultaneously dumping audrey, and everyone cheered AGAIN for their union. damn thing broke audrey’s whole ass heart. on top of that, her grandmother chastised audrey for her failures in securing ben and basically failing the family.
she also lost her status come d3??? like, at the end of d1, she was still cool as fuck. but come d3 girl is not even being invited to her friend’s birthday parties anymore?? she has no friends?? no one gives two shits about how she must be dealing with everything? and wow does that not help things at all.
that night, in her loneliness and anger, audrey decided to steal the queen’s crown from the artifacts museum. it was a petty thing. she was hurt, and just did NOT want to see the crown she’d envisioned as her own for all her life be placed on mal’s head. she didn’t have a goal beyond taking the crown. however, when she went to the museum, maleficent’s scepter sensed audrey’s emotions and desires for revenge, and revealed itself to her. it’s glow lured audrey to it, fed into her emotions, and bing bang boom, audrey became the ultra fabulous QUEEN OF MEAN
under the scepter's influence, she put half of auradon under a sleeping spell, the other half she turned to stone, then she made ben a beast after he rejected her, and made mal an ugly old hag. she was foiled at the end by mal, and ended up falling under a sleeping curse as a result. with no True Love’s Kiss to awaken her (rip), the heroes ended up getting Hades to use his magic to wake her up.
at the end, she apologizes for her crimes & her emotions were finally acknowledged when mal and ben stepped up and apologized for their inconsiderate past actions to audrey (wELL, they never actually apologize?? they say ‘I owe you an apology” but both don’t like actually say sorry, and that’s 100% something audrey has noticed for sure). she celebrates at the end with everyone else when the barrier is brought down and is last seen dancing with harry hook
POST CANON
totally headcanon that she’s still not 100% happy as she’s shown in the end while dancing around okay
she’s STILL lonely!! she STILL wants those apologies!! she’s STILL lost about what to do with her future now that her whole life plan has blown up in smokes. she’s HURT okay. her friends? abandoned her! ben? abandoned her! that one hurts the most bc after spotting that pic of audrey/ben as children together, I 100% hc that they have been best buds for years before falling into a relationship. and while it’s clear ben was not really ~in love~ with audrey ( i image they ended up getting together bc it was just Expected yknow?), audrey still had feelings for ben. even if it wasn’t true love (she def wasn’t In Love tho she thought she was), she did still love ben. he was her best friend, and the fact that he never came around to apologize to her for humiliating her the way he did after the love spell broke HURT.
also hc that she had to take a remedial goodness class following her stunt
the ending given to her is life a brief showing of her and harry hook smiling at each other all soft like before dancing, which like, i’m game for, but in terms of her actual future, audrey was trying to figure out just how to do life moving forward following everything
TRUMAN
“Tell me it was all a bad dream.”
yeah so I said audrey was relieved about her life in truman? 100000% true!
her life was incredibly sad and lonely before, so convincing her that all that shit was all just a bad dream was an incredibly easy thing to do for the descendants actors okay (im sad for her bc of this tbh)
her life as she knows it: she still comes from a family of high status and money. not technically a princess, but she sure does act like one. believes she was born and raised in truman, but was sent to boarding school at auradon prep since she was a child, where she thrived and grew into a typical Popular Girl (head of cheer team/one of the most beautiful girls), before returning to truman after graduating. basically she believes she had the same perfect life she had before in canon, minus the vks, ben, and the whole fairy tale/royalty stuff (basically everything that ruined that perfect life).
all that other extra stuff, including going all queen of mean and losing ben and being drop kicked by literally everyone, is just POOF, fuzzy memories, bad vivid horror story nightmares! every now and then she’ll witness an engagement, or spot a serenade, and it’ll trigger an overwhelming sense of sadness, but for the most part, she’s content putting her life behind her. her new life is a much happier one. that could totally change once she starts encountering people from her past life again.
only really recognizes her family members as family members, and maybe recognizes some past auradon friends (maybe chad charming as her ex since he’s the only one who didn’t totally abandon her rip)
since “returning” to truman, she’s entered university on the island. she wasn’t sure where she was going with life, but she knew she’s always been really good at drawing and really good at event planning. so in uni, she decided to keep her artistic talents as a hobby and pursue a career in event planning. in pursuit of this, she’s a senior at college, majoring in hospitality management.
PERSONALITY
positive: determined, headstrong, outgoing, self-assured, polite, moral, dedicated
negative: jealous, stubborn, demanding, bossy, petty, close-minded, seemingly mean (tho she doesn’t consider herself mean, okay? she just can come off as mean/rude)
CANON CONNECTIONS
ben & mal: need them both bc they are the ones who hurt her the most so i’d loooooove to play out these dynamics in truman!! they’d be the most Triggering faces for her
jay & harry & chad & uma: underrated audrey ships i’d love to play out bc literally crumbs are given to the majority of these dynamics, and so I want to just...explore them?? three of these 4 are vks and 2 of those 3 are people audrey actively pursued in some sort of ~connection~ at the end of the movies when the Couples got together, and she did that even tho she is very Moral and has confusing feelings about vks, and i just wanna know more!!
TRUMAN CONNECTIONS
yeah this is getting long, so I’m planning on posting a whole separate post in the truman plot tag for these wanted connections!
and yeah! that’s everything on my girl! if you’ve made it this far, you’re the best my dudes!! I’m gonna be on mobile for a good portion of the day before coming on at night, but if you’d like to do any kind of plotting with my girl, just go ahead and hit that like button, and I’ll slide in y’alls dms! ♥

WHAT ARE THE TOP 6 FITNESS TIPS THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOUR DAILY LIFE?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9946b48c03ef3cbdbc478ebe5ff87c16/9909130285f5c3f1-f7/s540x810/09ca44a005c28071cdc31d0ef802c122daeff258.jpg)
Who doesn't want a healthy life? Who doesn't desire a perfectly toned body? Who doesn't admire a perfect body physique? Of course, no one because today everyone is looking for fitness tips to keep his body fit and healthy. And today, we will be sharing the best fitness tips of the day to help you through your fitness journey, go through the below tips to get your answers.
1. Take it slow
When you want to acquire a new habit, always keep one thing in mind; acquiring it in a minute is not possible. You always need plenty of time to adjust to a new routine because you have to break your previous routine first.
Make sure to consult your doctor before getting into any new physical activity like exercise, yoga, and all. This is so because doing it this way will let you know which movements you should carry out in the beginning and which not.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/11e281ce3cb5e98030490c2a41055217/9909130285f5c3f1-56/s540x810/5de77220043719b4d9d2dce6735c73cce22ce4ba.jpg)
Also, you must keep this thing in mind that there is a proper routine of exercise which must be followed in order to get the benefits of exercise, good health, and a well-maintained body.
Also, the choice of exercise varies among different people as everyone has a different body type, which has different demands.
For beginners, small exercise sessions are enough because their body cannot bear long sessions as it is not used for long practices. With the passage of time, one can gradually increase the period of exercise as his body starts adapting to the routine. AQF Sports has different accessories that will surely help you through your exercise.
Some simple exercises to begin with
· Walking
· Jumping
· Skipping
· Jogging
· Running
· Dancing
· Squatting
2. Set your 30 minutes goal
It is advised to keep a goal of 30 minutes of physical exercise on a daily basis. Adding on to this advice, it is also recommended to take three 10 minutes sessions rather than going with a single 30 minutes session.
This is because doing physical activity for a continuous long duration will make your body tired in the initial time, leaving you retarded for the rest of the time. If you prefer smaller sessions with the appropriate gap timings, your body will provide you with the real benefits like good body shape and a balanced figure.
3. Train your muscles
Always keep this thing in mind that only practicing aerobic exercise is not adequate because your body needs a little more than it like weightlifting, resistance training, and stuff like that. Such types of exercises are important for the body as they aid in the strengthening of the muscles of the body and also help in making the bones stronger.
In addition to this, these exercises are also very good at enhancing the balance of the body and also improve body coordination. This is advantageous for your body as it prevents it from becoming a victim of bone diseases like osteoporosis etc. Last but not least, these exercises prepare the body for the prevention of injuries and falls.
4. Try a combo
Combine both the gym practice and home practice to get the best combination in order to provide your body with an added advantage. There exist a variety of gyms and training centers that offer free classes with a monthly membership. Being a part of such institutions will let you learn some hottest and newest fitness moves.
Also, there you get professional trainers who help you grow through your tough times. Even if this doesn't feel comfortable to go with, you can just be comfortable at doing outdoor sports activities on your own with your other friends also.
5. Stretch your body
Always make it your habit to stretch your body for some time after you are done with your daily exercise. This is because stretching helps in enhancing the flexibility of your body and also improves the range of motion.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/e6f75ffb1a9c17c61d6532f07244e17b/9909130285f5c3f1-39/s540x810/1e41829d8676fd306806577aaa815fa2932e7a87.jpg)
Due to regular stretching, you are less likely to suffer muscle cramps or injuries. The most important part that stretching plays is to help in the improvement of the blood circulation that keeps your body healthy and active.
6. Stop wasting your money
If you have got money, that doesn't mean you should spend it roughly. Stop wasting your money in buying expenses fitness classes, which you can also carry out at your home. This world has become a global village now, and everything is just a click away.
You can look forward to YouTube videos that teach you the proper way of exercise according to your learning level. This is better because watching these videos never charges you, and also you can replay a specific move for a number of times without any hesitation.
To Wrap It Up!
Staying active not just improves the quality of your present life but also adds on to the quality of your life when you grow old. The above-mentioned fitness tips for men and women will really help you in shifting to a healthy lifestyle if you follow them properly.

Hello! You may recognize me as one of the people who has reblogged the gifset of taika with his tit out like a dozen times. really appreciate your work there. I was wondering if you could point me to the source video of the gif?
Hi! It took me a moment to look around for it but I figured it had to be on Renner's channel and yes. This would be the behind the scenes footage for his video. Taika would be around 2:04 from the gifs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBGDHjVijjg Sorry for not linking to it properly in the post itself, at the time three years ago when I made them it was all over his tag, but it has made a reemergence since OFMD. hah
