Despite what people complain and snark about, Bruce does in fact have contingency plans for pretty much everything. And while he doesn’t have an exact contingency for Jason apparently accidentally kidnapping the apparently prince of the Realms- some infinite space where the dead resided according to Zatanna and Constantine, he’ll have an existential crisis about it later thanks- he did have one for his kids accidentally kidnapping someone. 

He just doesn’t think that exact plan will work in this case, seeing as that plan had to do with civilians and not very large kings that could obliterate the entire world with a hand wave, nevermind the fact that they have so many armies. Not to mention what is apparently both the king’s second-in-command and brother. 

Well, if none of his usual contingencies won’t work and Constantine’s attempts at making a deal isn’t working, nor is the other’s attempts to talk the two down, then it’s plan Z time. Seduction it is.

Love the thought of Leo just casually being well traveled to absurd degrees. Like one day they’re facing their new Big Bad of the year and like, Draxum or whoever says that the key to their fight is located somewhere in, like, Latvia or some place, but no one knows where to start.

Then Leo’s like “oh I know a place” and when asked how the heck he could know of one it smash cuts to Leo falling through the ceiling of said place due to a portal mishap.

Also love the idea of Leo, being as accidentally (and then later, purposefully) well traveled as he is, sometimes taking his family on outings to different places all over, maybe to some new Yokai spots he found along the way.

In these places, Leo 100% lets his bros get scammed by tourist traps.

ok so hypothetically with the way sophie’s teleporting works would she just like. be banned from races of any kind because she’d inevitably think super hard on where she wants to go and already be traveling fast and just teleport there?

like she’s doing a silly lil bike race (she canonically rode a bike as a kid and he probably figured out how to ride one in the forbidden cities) w/ keefe one moment and the next she’s in the void and she’s like :| and does the Teleport of Shame to the finish line to hail him to apologize and wait for him. fitz invites her to go running with him at evergreen but makes it clear it’s not a race because he’s heard what happens when she races people, and they’re doing fine jogging for a while and then she sees biana off-course and gets too excited and accidentally runs into her the ground via teleporting.

if she’s in a cab with dex on a forbidden cities mission, could she accidentally teleport the cab to their destination?? how would the black swan cover that up???

After the third years went on their internships, Heartslabyul felt pretty lonely, especially due to a lack of Cater(s) to cheer people up.

To combat that, Ace and Deuce (with Riddle's support) created a Magicam account for the dorm.

The posts mainly feature the daily life in NRC, with unbirthday parties and pranks. Commom guests include the former first years (now sophomores) and Riddle every now and then.

With the whole overblot thing still happening, they also use the account to communicate with the students abroad, a few codes include:

- Epel's fountain pen broke and we had to get a new one (Epel Overblotted);

- The Owls were out and about (the silver owls besieged the school);

- We had a Rook problem (there's an stalker/assassin on campus);

Needless to say, none of the former thirds years are having a good time. Every new post giving them anxiety.

On a lighter note, Riddle also uses the account for studying, reviewing materials before tests and doing special posts on topics most students struggle with. However, it's a general consensus that his most popular post was a short video where he introduced all of the hedgehogs at the dorm, just 60 seconds of a happy Riddle showing a bunch of hedgehogs to the camera.

Yuu also uses the account as a fundraiser to reform Ramshackle/ buy tuna for Grim (Crowley isn't helping).

The Non-Newtonian Newborn: Chapter 5 Preview

“There is nothing in the code that would cause an intentional misread,” Arm says after looking over the program, “Since I am the only one who has done maintenance on it for the last few years, I have administrative access that is higher than the access the infirmary staff has. Even if there was someone higher ranked than me, I would be able to see any adjustments added to the code since each edit creates a new update. The last update was four months ago when we bought new digital microscopes for the lab.”

Porsche holds back a groan and tries not to grip his hair, “Okay, but what if they could hide the fact that they made an update to the program? Like, erase record of it or-”

“Each update leaves a blueprint. It automatically audits the change because you risk the program crashing if each change isn't documented and time-stamped,” Arm says, “If someone from the outside would do something to the code, the change be time-stamped and identified by the username or IP address.”

Porsche breathes in and out as Kinn puts a hand on his shoulder.

“What's this about?” Kinn asks, “I…I appreciate you trying to help and get answers for Kim, but the paternity was already identified. Looking at her, it doesn't take long to see the resemblance. And even though I don't understand it, Kim has come to accept it and he seems to really…I don't know, love her.”

“This isn't about Kim,” Porsche says, pulling away before pointing at Chay, who has just been gently and slowly spinning Achara in one of the stools - much to her delight, “Your pa just pointed a gun at my brother and accused him of being Achara's other parent!”

“It's because I am,” Chay says, “Korn was just feeling protective of Kim. The DNA results took him by surprise. Me too, but I feel so connected to her. And I think she looks a little like me! She's a little closer to my skin tone and I think she has my lips!”

Porsche tries to keep his breathing under control, then looks at Kinn once more.

“The results are wrong.”

Kinn steps closer again and cups Porsche's face. We’ll have them run Chay’s DNA against Achara's separately. Like they did with Kim. Just to check. Doctor Saelim is a good man…surprisingly ethical, considering he works for us. I don't think this is something he would lie about.”

Porsche exhales, “So it has to be a technical glitch. Right, Arm?”

Arm clears his throat, “...I really don't see how it would be-”

“Arm,” Porsche says in a warning tone.

“But we can narrow down the possible matches to you, Chay, and your mother and see if Achara shares DNA with you.”

They go down to the infirmary after that. Both Chay and Achara get swabbed and both tasks are carried out. The database is done by Arm himself while Porsche watches the nurse without blinking to make sure she doesn't switch out any samples. Doctor Saelim examined the samples manually.

It takes about an hour to get an answer to this. Porsche feels like he is waiting for the most important news of his life. Chay doesn't seem particularly bothered at all and is too focused on his baby-

The baby. She is NOT Chay’s baby-

“I have concluded that Chay is this child’s parent,” Doctor Saelim says coming out, before nodding at Arm, “The database gave the same response?”

Arm nods, not quite able to meet Porsche’s eyes, “Yes, Doctor.”

Chay leans forward slightly to look at Porsche, “See, Hia? I told you she is my baby!”

Porsche finds himself jumping to his feet to pace, “You're a kid, Chay! You can't be a father, and you didn't even do anything reckless to make this happen! This isn't fair to you! You're just going to be-”

“Stop talking so loud!” Chay hisses, trying to soothe a now crying Achara, “You're scaring her!”

“She's the one who is scary! She came out of nowhere, knows how to teleport, and has latched herself onto two random guys!”

“She's my baby! Don't talk about her like that!” Chay says as Achara cries louder. Porsche can't think.

“We don't know what she's capable of! We don't even know how she got here! She-”

Before Porsche can finish his sentence, Achara disappears out of Chay’s arms. Chay jumps up, lets out a panicked sound, and points a finger at him.

“Look what you did!”

Porsche doesn't know how he made a baby teleport, and yet he feels so incredibly guilty.

Kim used to swim a lot more when he was younger. Something about the water soothed him, and swimming laps was always an exercise that felt more like self-care than actual work, despite it working all of his muscles. It provided a way to clear his mind of all the stress of living at the compound. When he moved out, he didn't need to utilize swimming as much, but he forgot how much he missed it. He loved swimming with his mother and brothers the most, but as he got older, he appreciated having the pool to himself so he could enjoy the peace and quiet.

He hasn’t had much of that the last few days - although moments of peace and quiet were few and far between before that, especially in his head.

And while he's still concerned and anxious over how this is all going to play out with Chay, something about this situation makes him feel better about his life. It was like something was missing for so long, and now it's so much better.

As Kim goes under the water, he stays beneath the surface and lets himself sink to the bottom for just a moment. When he was younger, it would feel like time would just freeze every time he did that.

Yet when he comes back up for air, it feels like he has anything but time. His heart stutters in his chest when he sees Achara appear at the very edge of the pool, the left side of her body dangling halfway off and over the deep end as she cries hysterically. His brain is still trying to catch up when gravity works against her and she topples over, plunging into the depths of the water.

hey besties it's me ya boi Kyeterna, back at it with more docas stuff. This time something i had written a year ago but never finished it until now-

The jist is that as soon as Mordei meets Constellation in the Gold timeline- alongside their pact with Eia, they started having dreams as a side effect of having partial access to Wisdom. That includes- a glimpse into the truth of the world they live in- a simuation, a fake- and a glimpse into a past they never had- regrets lingering from the copper timeline. Regrets of Cosmos's demise pretty much. They feel Renacinis's guilt of not realising their son was willing to do anything to cure their father, not realising Gale was using them, not realising they unwittingly led their son to their death, not protecting them.

I am so normal about them guys trust me~

okay i am damn delusional now so be prepared for orv x genshin, aka: dokja venti sookyung are found family pre scenario, underground killer never existed thanks to venti's persuasion, later sookyung venti adopted kimco, hades and persephone become dokja godparents.

in an afternoon of february 15th, a small wind wisp suddenly appeared in front of dokja and sookyung. she was very cautious at first, but her son seemed to be very, very enthusiastic about the new friend, so she decided to let it slide (she didn't want to ruin her little son's birthday, and truth to be told, her instinct told her that this 'being' doesn't want to harm anyone). the hesitation did appeared at first, but it soon disappeared. they talked about various things in their life, dokja and sookyung would chat about books and the wind wisp, named venti, would tell them myriad of legends at his home country - the nation of wind mondstadt, and from other places at his world called teyvat. how he got lost to here is a mystery three of them could not solved, but someday someone will have the answer for that.

when days are tough for dokja and sookyung, venti would eases their pain with his 'magic' (though it didn't work too well compared to when he were in teyvat, but it worked somewhat), reads folk tales and sings lullaby for them. when days are okay for dokja and sookyung, all three of them would go to the park close to their house with a book, sit under a old tree and read it together, or play with the soft breeze and take a nap under the care of winds.

but good days did not last long. dokja sookyung killed the father and went to jail, left her dear family: her dear son and her little wind wisp behind.

dokja read everything again. again. and again. just like how his mother told him.

the wind never left him. never left her. he embraced them, the wistful winds echoed with their hearts.

when sookyung wrote the first letter of 'underground killer', venti appeared in front of her with his mortal form, grief bleeding from every fabrics of his existence. venti told her not to write it, because dokja would commit suicide few months after the publication of the book, and he did not open his eyes again.

needless to say, sookyung cried herself to sleep, and venti embraced her and sang her a lullaby to sleep.

she threw the paper, never thought about writing the book leading to her little son's dismay again.
