The Fan's Universal Roleplay Framework (or "An excuse for fanfic writers to use their spare d12s")
Materials
Many d12s. One per player plus one extra.
The source material, or internet access (for reference).
Setup
Decide what work(s) this story is based on.
Select a Game Master (GM). They get two d12s, Players gets 1.
Each Player selects a pre-existing character from the work(s) to play as.
GM and Players discuss what the story premise is, establish opening scene.
Play
Players describe what their characters do.
GM determines difficulty, either arbitrarily or by rolling 1-2 d12s.
Player then rolls their d12, if it's higher than difficulty, they succeed, if lower, they fail.
GM describes results and subsequent effects (Players can assist).
If a described character action is deemed by GM to be particularly thought-out and matching their canon characterization, player gets "Reward Points" (RP). Players can spend RPs to increase any of their dice rolls by 1 point per RP spent.
Players have their characters assisting each other, adding their own d12 roll to the original. If this is deemed worthy of an RP, that RP can be used by EITHER player.
Actions deemed too out-of-character get point reductions to that d12 roll AND their next one.
Repeat forever until people stop having fun.
Creator Notes: Never made an RPG before, at least not a functional one. (Who knows, maybe this one isn't even functional). I was inspired by various text-based RPs I've been in and was wondering how a fandom-centered TTRPG would work if the main goals were to 1) Tell a cool story and 2) Stay in character. It should work for pretty much any typical fanfiction scenario so there should be plenty of opportunity for variety.
Also I like d12s.
Feel free to archive this off-site. Or do whatever else you want to do with this. I can't stop you.
200 Word RPGs 2024
Each November, some people try to write a novel. Others would prefer to do as little writing as possible. For those who wish to challenge their ability to not write, we offer this alternative: producing a complete, playable roleplaying game in two hundred words or fewer.
This is the submission thread for the 2024 event, running from November 1st, 2024 through November 30th, 2024. Submission guidelines can be found in this blog's pinned post, here.

In your opinion what would be snows gay or bi awakening lol
In the books, I think Coryo is too depressed (he is) and too stressed (he is) and too mentally unstable (he is) to really think about love (the sincere kind of love), friendships, and bi/gay awakenings.
He does feel things like pain, sadness, anxiety, and desire. However, his childhood war traumas (the horrific 2 year Capitol siege by the rebels that almost starved everyone to death), hunger (physical and psychological), and early losses in life (the death of his parents and other financial problems) were great factors that shaped him to be as cold as his name.
We also have to understand that he was raised in the Capitol. He was raised in a place that was ruthless and merciless to those who don’t have money, power, or status. If you don’t belong or have no relations/connections with one of the “Old Guards” like the Ravinstills, Heavensbees, or Creeds, then you’re a “loser nobody” who has no place or future in the Capitol.
Propaganda was also everywhere (and I mean everywhere). Sympathizing with the rebels who almost starved and eradicated your people to death is a great no no. This also applies to those who secretly aided and supported the rebels.
Don’t forget, the punishment was so severe as well. Either you die a horrible death or you get turned into an Avox. Die or suffer. Those are your only options if you get caught helping a rebel or even know someone who aligned themselves with rebel sympathizers.
So I understand that Snow had to be selfish AF and put great importance to his and his family’s self-preservation and ambitions no matter the cause, reason, or outcome. And because most people in the Capitol will also choose to put themselves first before others. Heck. Being ruthless and selfish are a form of mercy to one’s tragic self if you live in a country like Panem.
Is it wrong to think like that? To most readers who value goodness and love, yes. However, for those who survived a horrific war, no, not really. And for those who are constantly starving or suffering, no. Sometimes hunger will drive anyone (and I mean anyone) to madness. Even the best of us will be tempted to commit such grave sins in order to survive and live a comfortable life.
In addition, we can’t deny that Snow was living in a cruel society where one mistake will cause you and your whole family’s life and reputation. So a poor Coryo had to pretend that everything was splendid and his life was perfect (like most of his rich classmates) because the House of Snow must not fall. It must always land on top.
Moreover, I believe that pretending and performing are one of Coryo’s strongest coping mechanisms when facing the harshness of reality. In a way, you could say that Snow would rather live and accept his crazy delusions than face the consequences of his actions. If not, he might’ve ended up being sent to the gallows or being turned into an Avox.
Even in the books, when Snow was sent back to the Capitol to meet with Dr. Gaul, there was a part of him that screamed and believed that he and his family would be severely punished. He was even in the verge of accepting his “Avox fate” for the mistakes he made while serving as a Peacekeeper in D12.
So is Coriolanus Snow capable of sincerely loving someone above himself? His childhood war traumas, mental instabilities, ambitions, self-preservation, and depression say NO.
Was Snow in love with Lucy Gray? His lonely life and delusional mind say yes, but he’s too afraid of love and just wants power after experiencing one horrible breakup. So no.
Let’s just say that love is the death of power/ambitions/glory and Snow chose the latter in order to survive and thrive.
Was Sejanus Plinth in love with Snow? Yes. Definitely. I won’t question it.
Did Coryo have feelings for Sejanus? I believe that a tiny part of his cold heart will say yes, but his confused AF mind and “rebel allergies” say no.
But these are just my thoughts and opinions anyway. Lol. I specialize in writing and editing crack!AUs. Not angst.
But I do read a lot of psychological & mental health books, Greek tragedies, historical literature, and crime stories.

——————————————————————————
In a small town known as Jessup, there was a small goblin family who lived as peacefully as the town would let them. Bolt, the youngest of 4 siblings, always wanted to pass his sisters in excellence. Whether if it was inventing or cooking, Bolt wanted his mother and father to know that he was just as successful as his three older sisters. Gizzy, Bolt’s oldest, was accepted into a Wizarding school with the highest academics. Thimble, the second oldest and most independent, went on to build houses for homeless children and ran an adoption agency. Bobble, the third oldest, went to travel the country as a premier Goblin opera singer. Bolt became jealous. His father looked down on him and told him he will never amount to anything. His father practically made Bolt believe that he’ll spend the rest of his life in a barn or tavern cleaning up after animals or travelers. One holiday, Bolt’s father surprised his three daughters with new gifts. Glizzy got new robes made from the finest silk. Thimble got a brand new set of bedding made of wool and dyed from pea flowers for the children of her orphanage. Bobble got a new harp, carved from an elder tree with strings from the finest craftsman. Bolt, on the other hand, got a spatula and a broom. Furious with his father for years, Bolt was going to prove to his family that he would not be messed with. He would prove to his father that he would be the most successful out of his family. One strange cold night, however, Bolt’s father never came home from work. There were mutterings and screams coming from the center of town. He ran to a pyre where there were three villagers hanging over a burning pile of wood. A Halfling woman, a child gnome, and a goblin… who was Bolt’s father. Although Bolt and his father didn’t see eye to eye, bolt loved his father so much that it devastated him to see his father dead. The ringing in his ears came from a voice that said “Those who can’t pay the tithe will end like these traitors!” He ran and hid in his house that he thought would be a safe place. His sisters didn’t look for him, nor did anyone he knew. The sisters were huddled together crying and forfeiting some of their riches to the tax collectors to pay off their father’s debts. Bolt, however had other plans. He wanted revenge and he knew how to get it! He was going to dedicate his life to Bane and hunt down the tyrants that murdered his father in plane sight. Until then, he works as the housekeeper in the local tavern undercover until the time is right for him to gain power and get revenge for his father’s public death!
