Time for a tea post!
Been a while since my last one!
Today's tea is Twinings Berry Fusion.
Scent: Very floral, undertones of chicory. It smells like a tea shop in a very good way. Smells more fruity as it brews.
Color: Beautiful amber red.
Taste: Super sweet and fruity. I probably didn't even need to add sugar to it! The box says it has hibiscus, rose hips, orange leaves, blackberry leaves, chicory root, licorice root, apple, blueberry, cherry, acai, goji berry, and strawberry. All of that boils down (pun not intended) to top notes of hibiscus and cherry, with a nice apple finish. This would be excellent as an iced tea.
Overall a hit! I'm having it with a donut because I can't be stopped, but I imagine shortbread or a nice butter cookie would go very nicely.

10 tips to lose weight fast You can finally bring out your spring wardrobe, but your clothes are a little too tight ... How to lose those few pounds quickly, without drastic diet?
1. Drink water (with a little extra)
Drink a glass of water before the meal. Water fills your stomach and sends a full signal to your brain… and you stop eating faster. In addition, many people confuse the signal of hunger with that of thirst; drinking enough therefore helps you reduce your calorie intake. If you want to give an additional boost to your metabolism, add a slimming supplement to your water.
2. Never skip breakfast You're not hungry and skip breakfast… it saves you calories, right? Not really: breakfast gives your metabolism the go-to to speed up calorie burning and provide you with energy throughout the day. Good idea: Start the day with a low-carb protein shake, like those from Easy Body. This gives your body everything it needs to prevent muscle wasting, while burning fat faster. 3. Eat regularlyYou start the day in a good mood, eat in moderation and then suddenly… you are so hungry that your diet goes by the wayside. You know ? Starving yourself does not help, controlling your portions does. Eat regularly and in small portions. Between meals, opt for healthy snacks. Your body burns calories better, like an engine that is regularly supplied with fuel. 4. Eat less breadOne effective way to quickly lose a few pounds is to limit your intake of carbohydrates. Eat less bread, pasta and rice and avoid anything containing sugar, such as cookies, chocolate, candy… Replace them as much as possible with vegetables and (small portions of) nuts. Do you still fancy a cookie or a bar? Then opt for a protein bar, from Easy Body for example: low in sugars, but full of protein. 5. Avoid the fancyChoose foods that are as minimally processed as possible. Forget about ready-made meals, choose the right ingredients and cook them yourself for all the necessary nutrients, added flavors and other fattening products. If you want to further increase the nutritional value of your meals for a boost of energy and vitality, enrich them with superfoods like acai and goji berries, chia seeds, cocoa beans, moringa, blackberries ... 6. Get enough sleepIt might sound weird, but it's true: not getting enough sleep makes you fat. Lack of sleep actually disrupts the balance between two hormones: your body produces more ghrelin, which stimulates appetite, and less leptin, which makes you feel full after a meal. If you have trouble sleeping, an infusion can help you get a good night's sleep, such as Kneipp's Bonne Nuit herbal tea. 7. Avoid draconian dietsIf you want to lose weight, don't go below 1400-1600 kcal per day. Eating less will make you lose weight quickly, but it also slows your body's fat burning. You will immediately regain the pounds as soon as you stop, and they will be even more difficult to lose afterwards. Controlling your calorie intake is super easy with an app like MyFitnessPass, Calorie Counter, My Diet Diary, LifeSum or FatSecret. 8. Teaparty!Your favorite slimming drink? Tea ! Tea is rich in antioxidants and helps your body detoxify and burn fat. There are some for all tastes: mango and passion fruit (from Juvamine), rooibos (Infusion Fat Burner from Physalis), green tea (slimming tea from Kneipp) . 9. Feeling hungry?Still hungry? Try to tell the difference between hunger and craving. Do you want a snack? Keep busy: call a friend or paint your nails to distract yourself, and you'll forget your candy craving. Is your stomach still growling? It is because you are really hungry. Try to drink first and see if it works. Always not ? It's time to have a bite to eat. Opt for a light snack, such as a handful of almonds. 10. The toothpaste trickAre you dying for candy, feel like you're going to crack? Brush your teeth. The candy will be much worse and you will want to keep that feeling of freshness in the mouth. Plus, it's good for your teeth! If you want to Healthy check here for more details

okay i hate the taste of coffee but i want The Energy. what drink would you suggest??
For reference, 12oz of hot black coffee contains about 136mg of caffeine. A single shot of espresso contains 75mg. (For more reference, 12oz of Mountain Dew has only 55mg.)
Here are some drinks with that sweet sweet Energy but little or no coffee flavor, all based on the tall 12oz Starbucks size - Energy increases with size for some drinks.
Chai tea latte (hot or iced) - 70mg
Matcha green tea latte (hot or iced) - 55mg
Matcha lemonade - 50mg
Matcha green tea frappuccino - 50mg
London Fog tea latte (hot or iced) - 40mg
Caffeinated brewed hot teas - 40g
The “Pink Drink,” the “Violet Drink,” or the “Dragon Drink” - 35mg
The Strawberry Acai, Very Berry Hibiscus, and Mango Dragonfruit refreshers (with or w/o lemonade) - 35mg
Black or green iced tea (with or w/o lemonade) - 20 mg
Chai crème frappuccino - 20mg (any frappuccino ordered “crème” has no coffee in it at all)
Hot chocolate - 20mg
The Honey Citrus Mint Tea (known on social media as the “Medicine Ball” or “Cold Buster”) - 16mg
White tea lemonade - 15mg
Double Chocolaty Chip/Chocolate Cookie Crumble crème frappuccinos - 10mg

My Funny Milk Tea Slushie Business Idea Continued: “Milka-nista Shakes And Cafe” (PENDING NAME)
At Milka-nista Shakes And Cafe, I plan to sell non-dairy MILK shakes and slushies with some add flavor. Non-dairy milk is proven to help women build their own curves. For “regular” milk, I plan to use Lactaid, if given permission, or Organic Milk from grassfed cows. Milk is not a great drink when you go out in public.
Customers may try a Milka-nista Shake with a shot of espresso, as a milk tea shake and slushie drink, as a clean eating milkshake with organic ice cream, and more. Coffee related drinks will be added to the menu.
The foods I have included as ideas for the bakery menu are designed to help women with portion control, if you know what I mean:
- Custard egg tarts
- Vegan and non-vegan healthy cupcakes
- Cupcake “shots”
- Fresh organic caramels
- Fresh organic fudge. One flavor will be “Strawberry Cheesecake”
- Mini berry crumble tarts
- Whoopie pies. One flavor will be “Peanut Butter And Jelly”
- Fruit tarts with custard and pudding fillings as options
- Mini banana cream pies
- Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with a caramel and chocolate drizzle on top
- Lemon tarts
ALL WILL HAVE SMALL PORTIONS.
- Rice Krispies (organic) with brown rice
- French toast
- Fresh thin waffle sandwiches with Nutella in the center. ASK.
- Cigar butter cookies covered in chocolate and rainbow sprinkles
- Mini ice cube popsicles. Original idea by Hannah.
- Chocolate covered cherries.
- Chocolate covered organic rice cakes with sugar covered rose petals (edible and safe)
- Pink lemonade slushies.
- Fried pound cake covered in birthday cake batter with chocolate frosting for the dip. It will be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh cut strawberries and berries.
- Crepe cakes
- Organic gelato
- Chocolate covered freeze dried strawberries as a snack
- Thin and chewy chocolate chip cookies dipped in melted chocolate and covered with crushed pistachios
- Boston cream pie donuts with a pink white chocolate drizzle for the frosting. Some donuts will have pink frosting and strawberry jam with the custard filling.
- Flan
- Panna cotta
- Coffee ice cream milk shakes.
- Acai bowls with fruit and granola
- The teas will be served with special ice cubes that contain berries or fruit, edible glitter, and edible flowers LOL
These ideas are sexually suggestive.
By Hannah
I’m funny.
Edit:
Added:
coffee milkshakes with coffee flavored yogurt mixed in optionally to be on the menu
Boozy sorbet or gelato
Classy Jell-O shots
Delivery plans optional.

Ordering Tasty Treats for May the 4th!
I used to work in a cafe inside a bookstore and every May the 4th, in honor of ‘Star Wars Day’ I would make up little puns for the drinks and food we served.
So if you’re a Star Wars fan and happen to go to a Barnes & Noble and want a treat, here are some food puns to make your treat even more enjoyable :)
If you’re in the mood for some food:
-Butter and Almond Coruscants -A bagel with LANDO Lakes butter perhaps? -Attack of the Scones! Blueberry, Cinnamon and Apple -Or perhaps Blueberry Muf-FINNS instead? -Chewie Cookies (try them Luke-warmed up!), Cupcakes, and Brownies too! -RK(-2SO) Marshmallow Treats. There’s regular and gluten free! -Apple TARTans -Blondie or Toffee Blaster bars -Any of the Anakin-doesn’t-like-Sandwiches are pretty good! -Spinach and Boba Fetta Pretzel -Asia-POE Pretzels -Some Piz-ZA pretzels? -Maybe a Spinach and Art-Ahsoka Quiche -Or a Broccoli Ched-Darth Vader Quiche? -Chocolate Mousse-tafar -Lemon Bar-riss Offee -A slice of space-carrot cake? -A cup of Tirami-Supremacy? -Finish it off with a slice of any byss cheesecake!
Not hungry? BB-8 before? There’s always drinks! Not many Barnes & Nobles serve Dark Side Roast coffees, but there’s always the Light Side fraps! (It’s a FRAP!)
-Jawa Chip Frap -Ca-REY-mel Frap -Double Chocolate Inhibitor Chip Frap -A vanilla denta bean frap -It may be too early for the Star S’mores Frap -Strawberry or Chocolate Ban-Anakin Smoothie -Maybe a bottle of Pepsi Yoda? -Lemonade or other Jar Jar drinks? -Strawberry Acai or Very Berry Hibiscus ‘Refreshers’ too!
Or do you want something hot?
-Hoth Chocolate -Ca-REY-mel Macchiato -Any type of Lat-Tey How -Or Kappa-ccinos -A regular or white Mo-Kanata -R2-Decaf coffee -Chai T-PO -Cafe Au Leia -Han SOLO Espresso -Doppi-Obi Wan Espresso -Cantina Green Tea -R2-Decaf Earl Gray Tea -Hoth Cinnamon Spice Tea -Or any Tea-X24s!
This is mostly centered around Barnes & Noble Cafes (which SERVE Starbucks beverages but are NOT a Starbucks franchise so don’t try to pay with Starbucks cards or apps there) and the food and drinks they serve. Some drinks can also be found at a Starbucks, maybe some food.
So if anyone has any other food or drink puns for Star Wars, for ordering out at cafes or even restaurants, feel free to add!

Nourish Hanalei - Healthy Food With A View - Kauai, Hawaii
For a tasty, guilt-free lunch in an off-the-beaten-path location, try Nourish Hanalei and you will not be disappointed. Recently I met two of my friends for lunch at this unexpected area of Princeville on the north shore of Kauai. I had been seeing the Instagram posts for Nourish and was excited to try out the food they had to offer.
Sitting on a tiny piece of land, shaded by huge mango trees and overlooking the Hanalei Valley, the view is spectacular! From the valley, to the mountains, to the river, to the bay, this panoramic site is hard to beat. Two circular tables and some benches give visitors a place to sit and eat their lunch choices.
Started by three sisters, Maile, Maria and Summer, Nourish Hanalei offers a simple menu of healthy choices. The goal, as stated on their website, is "to feed our community with food that is sourced consciously, created with love, and contains only wholesome ingredients."
Menu choices include savory and smoothie items.
The Farmer’s BIG Salad $11.00
Local organic mixed greens, cucumber, sunflower sprouts, shredded beets + carrots, tomato, roasted sunflower seeds, dried cranberries.
golden tahini or garlic herb
add organic marinated citrus chicken $4
add avocado $2
The Hanalei Bowl $13
Roasted local purple sweet potato, massaged garden kale, coconut kaffir lime brown rice, shredded carrots, macadamia nuts, green onion, pineapple salsa.
choose your sauce: spicy vegan chipotle crema, golden tahini, garlic herb dressing
add organic marinated citrus chicken $ 4
add avocado $ 2
The Ha'ena Bowl $14
organic chickpea falafel, probiotic cabbage salad with local beets, mediterranean organic quinoa, local cucumber, fresh tomato salad with red onion + fresh herbs.
choose your sauce: spicy vegan chipotle crema, golden tahini, garlic herb
add organic marinated citrus chicken $4
add avocado $2
Green Jungle Bowl $12
Organic mango, local banana, organic kale + spinach, spirulina, mint, coconut water. Topped with housemade granola, banana, coconut chips, goji berries, raw honey.
Deep Sea Bowl $12
Organic acai, local banana, organic blueberries, almond milk. Topped with housemade granola, banana, coconut chips, goji berries, raw honey.
Surf Date Bowl $12
Local banana, dates, cacao powder, cacao nibs, organic peanut butter, chia seeds, cinnamon, almond milk. Topped with housemade granola, banana, coconut chips, goji berries, raw honey.
Add Ons 0.50 each
Nourish cacao nibs, bee pollen, chia seeds, hemp hearts, peanut butter, plant based protein powder, seasonal fruit
And, for dessert:
Vegan "nice" cream cookie sandwich $6.00
Seasonal Fruit Popsicle $4.00
The smile says it all. The Hanalei Bowl and ginger tea. We brought the tablecloth. 🙂
Nourish Hanalei is a family run farm in the Hanalei Valley. They grow a variety of plants, specializing in bananas, guava, acai and cacao (chocolate). Packaged products can be found at the lunch stand and in many stores around Kauai. They also sell their products online. Products vary with season. At the time this blog is being written (July 2019), these are the products they currently have for sale:
Dried Apple Bananas $9.00
Pineapple Fruit Strips $9.00
Guava Fruit Strips $9.00
Acai Fruit Strips $9.00
Trail Mix $11.00
Cacao Nibs $12.00
Chocolate Tea $12.00
Pure Mana Chocolate Spread $15.00
Since eating at Nourish Hanalei I have told many of my other friends about this hide-away. One was so impressed she posted this on her Instagram!
To find Nourish Hanalei, take the highway past the Princeville Shopping Center and turn right on Hanalei Plantation Road. Drive past some impressive real estate. When the paved road ends, keep going! It is bumpy, but I did say the location was unexpected, didn't I? You will see the little orange stand on your left.
Nourish Hanalei Hours:
Wednesday through Saturday - 11:00 to 3:00
Email Address:
After lunch you might want to take a walk. If you hike down the road further you will find the remains of a condo project that never got past the foundation. If you walk all the way to the end you will be able to see Hanalei Bay and the mountains above Lumahai Beach. Enjoy.

Dos, Don’ts, and Other Tips for the Perfect Winter Look
Most of us enjoy a good four seasons, even if you have an ultimate favorite. But as the seasons change, so too should your makeup. While spring or summer might be a perfect time for corals, pastels, or even that favorite tinted moisturizer, winter is a time to “cool” down your look a little bit. Blues, grays, silvers, whites, and otherwise muted neutrals are perfect for a frosty, wintery look, whether it be your eyeshadow, nail color, or lip shade. Whether you’re looking to channel your inner ice queen or you just want to embrace winter’s most popular trends, follow these dos and don’ts to master the perfect makeup look this winter. Do: Embrace Blue, Gray, And Navy Eyeshadows Like Father Winter himself, this frosty season’s best colors are clean, cool, and icy—and there is no better way to pay proper tribute than with an eyeshadow palette with shades of icy blue, gray, and navy. To maximize your icy options, look for a palette of pigmented eyeshadow that features soft, smoky, and glittery tones in matte black, pure white, and luminescent pink. These cool, shimmery tones will capture the chill of a frosty winter day and you can easily transition from a touch of twinkle to a smoldering shadow with a quick touch-up. Combine this icy look with a solid layer of rich black natural mascara to capture the stark contrast of the soft snow and the dark night sky. Don’t: Match the Holiday Lights Bold, bright pops of color are best left for wintery lights and holiday decorations, not your nails. Leave the eye-popping pinks and reds for summer time and instead embrace cool nail colors like ivory, gray, and silver. Do: Embrace Winter Skin Care We all know that the cold, frosty weather can leave skin looking and feeling anything but bold. The cold, dry air can make moisture disappear faster than that office cookie platter, resulting in skin that feels dry, sensitive, and otherwise unhappy. To combat winter’s drying effects while still embracing its beauty, look for a natural foundation with organic foundation ingredients, such as aloe juice, to hydrate and protect skin while offering your desired coverage. You have a variety of options when it comes to winter foundation, but for best results, make sure you tone down the tint since your skin is likely slightly paler than it is in the summer. In addition to organic aloe juice, look for a foundation formulated with natural makeup ingredients such as green tea, red wine resveratrol, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin E, pomegranate, and acai berry to keep your skin hydrated. Don’t: Keep Up with the Contouring Although winter is all about stark and bold contrasts, it’s best to leave that look to Mother Nature herself. Embrace a lighter look this winter with a quality moisturizer, a touch of blush, and a soft, natural eyeshadow. Add a touch of highlighting shimmer on your cheeks, brow, and lid sand you will soon be channeling your inner sugar plum fairy. What's your top five fav drinks? Btw i love your blog
Oh wow thank you so much! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノDrinks ok....1. Acai SmoothieActually quick tangent there's a funny story there. So when I first moved into my house they were still doing renovations so we couldn't put any furniture in, so we had to eat out for like a week. And I always went to Jamba Juice. So I ended up essentially living off Jamba Acai Berry smoothies for at least a week.2. Starbucks Mocha Cookie Crumble (it's been gone for like five years but still my fave SB drink)3. Vanilla Coke Zero4. Mint Tea5. My cat in a blender
