Unsure as to how they even got home all Maddy could remember was the booming music. Okay so maybe getting tickets to a random concert wasn't the greatest idea, but it had been fun. She had danced with her girlfriend all night, shots poured, guys flocked even if they had no chance. Brushing back the gorgeous girl's hair she was still tender with her touch. "B." Surprisingly Maddy didn't feel the crippling effect of the alcohol. She probably was still dehydrated but she at least wasn't hugging a toilet. "Babe." Her second attempt at waking the girl beside her. Fingertips sliding against the girl's skin she let her hands ghost up her shoulder. Kissing at the spot quickly she smiled against the soft skin. The one who always was the last to wake now was waking up Bianca the way she loved being awoken. "We have to go get up."

It's true, their house in Forks had definitely seen better days, but they hadn't been back for at least 70 or more. Maintaining it would be suspicious at best, and besides... Between now and then, their coven had grown by three. The place needed updating and expanding as well as extensive repairs here and there, but Esme knew that when they made the decision to return, with the Black family's blessing, of course.

"I'd like to disagree, but it's not like you're wrong," comes Esme's reply. As vampires, they didn't need comfort. Alice and Jasper are probably the most adept at living just with just their immediate needs met, Carlisle too, but Esme can't imagine Rosalie being all too pleased.

"Don't worry, I'm going to draw up some plans asap. For now, we have what we immediately need. Feel free to toss design plans at me. I'm sure you've already envisioned the entire place."

i've yet to interact with ac1nums, but i've been admiring from afar lmao. i sound like a creeper. they're a very talented writer and i love the range of different characters they have on their blog. also obsessed with the fact that they write evelyn hugo.

xaden licks his lower lip once before taking it between his teeth, the gesture all he can manage in order to keep himself quiet tonight. he's just entered the gym where cadets are sparring on various mats, violet and rhiannon on one of them. he looks at violet for only a few seconds, though, before forcing himself to look away. it had only been three nights ago that they'd shared that kiss in the courtyard while sgaeyl and tairn had been... busy. it's a kiss he'd told her had been a bad idea, and yet... it had been a lie. bodhi and garrick flank him as they walk further into the space, the three of them stopping along the edge to watch the others fight.

as subtly as he can, which is rather impressive at this point given all the time he's had to master his own power, he'll allow his shadows to approach and caress violet, letting her know he's entered the room. whether she already knows it or not, he won't intrude on her thoughts — he hasn't even let her know they can communicate in this way, yet. ❝ sorrengail... you call that a punch? ❞ to tease her like this is the only way he'll allow himself to interact with her, at least for now; it's safer this way. arms are crossed over his chest, his stance rather stiff as he watches the woman despite how hard he tries to come off as disinterested.

was this really happening? it must of have been a dream. because the minute nathan opened his door, the last person he expected to see on his door step was his wife. she was supposed to be on tour not in tree hill. he had made the decision to go to high flyers because she wasn't around. not that this would change his mind because he had made it up already. and he wasn't even sure if he even wanted a relationship with haley at this point. he loved her. he probably always would. always and forever. it's what sucked. he still did love her, he just couldn't trust her. ❝ haley, what are you doing here? ❞ he was shocked to see her there and now he had to also go to the hospital because his dad ended up in an accident. there was too many things going on in nathan's life at once and he wasn't sure he was prepared to deal with it all tonight.
