January 25th 2017: "At this point, I am dancing entirely in my flat shoes, but the next big step for me is to be able to dance on pointe. As classical ballet dancers, we are always in pointe shoes. It almost feels like starting from the beginning again, but I'm hoping the feeling and confidence of being on pointe will come back quickly. Here I am, starting slowly with pointe shoes at the barre." . Last night Lauren was performing in the world premiere of Alexei Ratmansky's 'Songs of Bukovina'.
