i was reading another chronicle from middle ages and i am a little bit in love with it. the chronicler writes down only his birth as the main event of one entire year. for next one he writes of an earthquake and how his mother took away his sisters in fear the roof would fall on their head and that "therefore i didn't love her too dearly, for she should have cared more about me". it reminds me a little of the other one chronicle in which the author recalls how brave and pious his father was "not because it is relevant to the story i am telling, but so that you will remember him in your prayers".
i am silly enamoured of it.

Candace looked toward Saiph, eyes widening. "Really? You can do that? Great, yeah, sure, let's fly up there."
"YES!" Luciano pumped a fist, grinning. "This is gonna be even more fun!"
Usama sighed at Luciano. "You're just like your son."
Luciano rolled his eyes lightly at her. "You don't have to remind me..."
"We'll see you inside soon, then." Kamiizumi stated, before looking toward Lena, nodding. "Good idea. Let's go."
Kamiizumi, Lena, and Nadine all went through the hidden entrance to find themselves at....well..an area that was completely covered in snow. There were several frozen soldiers in place, some that looked still in the midst of fighting, others trying to flee in terror - but all of them were frozen solid. Kamiizumi stared at them, observing them carefully - in case any tried to break out of the ice. However, none were moving at all.
"H-hi. Erm," Someone cleared their voice, and Kamiizumi turned to see none other than Loreley, who awkwardly waved at them. "Nice to see you... again? Thanks?" She sounded more nervous than usual - probably because she wasn't used to being dropped into combat.
"Miss Loreley?" Kamiizumi greeted gently. "Thank you for, er, clearing the path for us."
"Was it a bad idea for me to freeze everyone on this floor? I mean," She scratched the back of her head, "I wasn't trying to but I kind-of panicked when the enemy found out I was just wearing a disguise, so I resorted to this."
"It seems that your instincts worked in our favour, so I think it's fine this time. The others are upstairs?"
Loreley nodded. "The only way upstairs in this place is to...well...use the stairs."
"Is it rigged with any traps?"
"No idea. I was too busy freezing everyone still on this floor while those that escaped me ran up there."

(Gp actress x fem reader)
(Scene# 01)
(your name is Fairoz in the story)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aman Dagon, the enigmatic, handsome and alluring actress that everyone drooled on. Who wouldn't? Her tall height, black soft, silky hair that one desired to touch, including her co-stars but her cold and mysterious personality intimidated them not to. She was famous for her villain roles especially the ones in which she was in a historical drama playing a distraught, arcane yet passionate lover oh, and how can we forget her iconic mafia lady role. It was her debut role that caused the wave of enchantment among women and men. People also know about her softer side for the heroines as she always acted gentlewomanly around them. This caused her female fans to fall in love with her more. She was always surrounded by paparazzi and everyone wanted to know more about her personal life. Her family owned many different businesses which she also took care of when she was not busy doing movies or dramas.
People were more than shocked when they found out that she was engaged. It all started when a fan made a TikTok about a ring on her finger that seemed different from her usual style and that she began to wear on more than one occasion. The internet went wild and even though her PR team was ecstatic to see that, they were tired of seeing and trying to control baseless and atrocious articles. It was after a month that the team was finally instructed by Aman to confirm that she was engaged. Aman didn't have any socials, which had made her fans more agitated as they had little source material to do research from. People were already jealous at her wife and few were genuinely happy for her. Even her co-stars were shocked as Aman's behavior didn't give the slightest hint about her engagement.
The real truth was that this marriage was hell, to begin with.
"Aman ma'am -- what? I mean didn't we already decided the amount to be 5 million? How come you are changing this now?" The director, Usama looked at Aman stunned.
"Mhmm , so you are saying you can't do it? Is that it?" Her deep voice , although calm , still sent chills down Usama's back. Not to forget her father was quite influential in entertainment industry.
"I am - sorry but yes , the contract had been signed prior , you remember right?."
"Do you know I can buy this company of yours and actually don't want your money . I didn't have any interest in doing this movie too but .....I did not do it for money or any of your shit." Yes , this is how she talked when she was annoyed . Her die hard fans would refuse to believe that she can be this egoistic but she was , and she was good at hiding it as well.
"But you do know if I sue you for forging a fake contract and paying me less , you will loose everything ....not to mentions my fans , they will make sure you can't do shit after this. So , all of this can be avoided if you hand me over , oops , haha. I meant , give me the hand of that girl you brought on set one day to me in marriage."
Mr. Usama nearly fainted right there. The girl she just talked about was her niece who was still in college. He couldn't believe his ears. Marriage of Fairoz to a woman like her, this is ...a nightmare.
"Earth to my favorite director" Aman snapped her slender fingers in front of his face, startling him. " I know it's hard to digest. That's why I will give you some time to decide and discuss this with your family and by that I mean ......a date for our engagement pronto.."
"She is my niece and what you are asking for is---I am sorry but --not possible."
"Not possible? Mhm. it has been forever since I have heard that word. Or you can say I am not used to hearing it ." She paused to let out a sarcastic chuckle. " Let me give you even a better one, I hate when people say it to me." Making the man gulp with her slow steps cornering him, she continued "I don't get what is impossible about a marriage? Isn't that the best thing you can get in your whole life? Me as your niece's wife. Pft. Never knew you to be so ungrateful."
Usama pondered over her words . Maybe she is right. What if she is a bit arrogant , that is a pitfall of being in the industry. 90 percent of people Usama had worked with are like her. If only focusing on the pros momentarily , the proffer doesn't sound terrible. Especially in the long term. Fairoz , if this goes well , may live a fruitful life. Just like her parents wanted and if Aman is proposing herself that must mean that she likes his niece.
Heaving a breath in , the words "I'll have a talk with my family . Sure." flowed from his lips which made the taller woman smirk.
"I am looking forward to a cordial response." Usama very well knew that she definitely won't take anything other than a cordial answer anyways.
Little did Aman know that the girl she was probing after would change her life in ways she hadn't had the slightest inkling about.

Allaah's tests have a purpose. They're not meant to be easy, and the hardships are clear. But remember, Allaah has given you the strength to handle it all because He never burdens a soul beyond what it can bear.
So, if you can face anything, why fear? Why pull yourself down or beat yourself up? Instead, turn to Allaah, for He is the true source of your strength.
In tough times, you may feel alone. But understand this - your Duas require action. It's not just about making them and waiting. When you pray with certainty, it lights a fire within you to take steps, no matter how big or small.
We are called to act, not just once or twice, but with consistency. So, trust Him, keep doing what you need to do, and remember, don't rely on the means - rely on Allaah alone.
What more do we need in life? When Allaah is managing all your affairs, doesn’t that take away the stress of making big decisions or fearing the unknown?
Relax. Your life is planned by the best of planners. Your job is to stay true and loyal to Him. No one deserves worship except Him, and nothing happens without His will. Be His obedient servant and love what He loves.
You've got this. And believe me, it's much easier than trying to please everyone else.
— Um Usama

Transcribed Twitter thread by Mouin Rabbani about why Israel has suddenly stopped equating Hamas with ISIS.
About a week ago the US and Israeli suddenly stopped comparing Hamas to ISIS. The term “Hamas-ISIS” had become de rigueur among Israeli officials in their public statements, and along with their partners-in-crime in Washington they often insisted Hamas is worse – much worse even – than ISIS. It’s a familiar playbook. In 2001 the Twin Towers had barely collapsed and Ariel Sharon immediately began insisting the PLO was no different than Al-Qaeda and that Yassir Arafat was worse than Usama Bin Laden. Israel’s flunkies and apologists immediately and dutifully followed suit.
But “Hamas-ISIS” is no longer. Israel’s acolytes have for the most part yet to receive the message, and continue parroting a line that has gone out of style with their leaders, but will probably follow suit at some point within the next 24 months.
So, what happened? Most obviously, the US and Israel have been negotiating, concluding, and implementing a series of agreements with “Hamas-ISIS”. It’s not a particularly good look to be in intensive discussions with, and make one concession after the other to, a movement that is purportedly more vicious and brutal than an organization that not only the West but also the international community considers entirely beyond the pale. Especially at a time when a broader agreement, extending beyond an exchange of captives, is reportedly being discussed in Doha by the CIA and Mossad chiefs – the city where not only the Qatari mediators but also Hamass current and former political leaders, Ismail Haniyyeh and Khalid Mashal, also reside.
The fact that Hamas is negotiating exchanges of captives and releasing not only foreign but also Israeli Jewish civilians, rather than slitting their throats in gruesome snuff videos also doesn’t help the cause. Nor do testimonies by released captives that, the violence and abuse of their initial seizure notwithstanding, they have generally been treated humanely. Of course, no civilian deserves to be held captive unless convicted of a specific crime by legitimate authority, yet the contrast between the testimonies of released Israeli and Palestinian civilian captives is enormous. Released Palestinian women and children speak of constant physical and verbal abuse, particularly since 7 October; all manner of deprivation; and an escalation of abuse once it became apparent they would be released. Furious at Palestinian joy at the release of their own captives, rampaging Israeli forces have also shot and killed several Palestinian well-wishers, enveloped most others in clouds of tear gas, and raided the homes of receiving families to evict journalists and warn against celebrations or even “expressions of joy”.
Palestinians are not ruled by the Israeli government in the same sense that Israelis within the pre-1967 boundaries are. Rather, they are subject to military government, effectively an Israeli military dictatorship whose rule is best described as totalitarian. It has for example banned flags, even particular color combinations (in clothing and painting for example), and in 2023 also “expressions of joy”.
Hamas videos of the release of their captives, in which they assist the elderly, provide water bottles, and wave goodbye (not quite ISIS-friendly optics) have been criticized as political theatre and propaganda. Fair enough. But it is still quite the contrast with the scenes outside Ofer Prison where Israel releases Palestinian captives. There, the best that Israeli propaganda can achieve is clouds of tear gas, intimidation of journalists, live ammunition, and bullet-ridden corpses. (And, for good measure, arresting more civilians than it releases.)
So not only did the US and Israel want to avoid the accusation they were negotiating with ISIS, the available imagery is also unconducive to the narrative. Joe Biden will go to his grave insisting he has seen videos of infants beheaded by Hamas, but it’s gotten to the point where even poor Jill rolls her eyes. Other Israeli and US claims have also drawn the short end of the stick. For example, the Israeli authorities recently reduced their tally of Israelis killed on 7 October from 1400 to 1200. The reason is that 200 corpses, burned beyond recognition, belonged to Palestinians rather than Israelis. This suggests Hamas was not systematically setting fire to live humans. Similarly, Israeli intelligence (or what’s left of it) has now concluded that Hamas did not have prior knowledge of the rave organized close to the boundary between Israel and the Gaza concentration camp. Therefore this could not have been a premeditated atrocity. I am of course not claiming no atrocities were committed on 7 October, but rather that as more facts become available the “Hamas-ISIS” propaganda line becomes increasingly untenable.
If we put aside Biden’s hallucinations and take Netanyahu off endless repetition for a moment, the ideological, organizational, and political relationship between Hamas and ISIS remains a legitimate field of inquiry. It’s also pretty conclusive. Hamas and ISIS are indeed both Islamist movements. But that’s pretty much where the comparison ends. To suggest they are equivalent or identical is akin to claiming there is no difference between constitutional and absolute monarchies because their heads of state acquire office in the same manner. Hamas is the Palestinian chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood, a regional Islamist movement formed almost a century ago. Its various national branches have sought to achieve political power through mass mobilization, and as such have formed political parties; provided social services; participated in elections, coups, and uprisings; engaged in armed campaigns against domestic autocracy and foreign domination; and in a number of cases formed internationally-recognized governments. It’s a fundamentally different template than that pursued by ISIS.
Hamas was established in the cauldron of the Israeli occupation, and like other Palestinian organizations actively participated in the struggle to end Israeli rule. In 2006 it participated in Palestinian legislative elections, fully certified by the Carter Center, which it won. In 2007 Hamas seized power in the Gaza Strip after a year during which its various domestic and foreign adversaries, to put it politely, actively worked to undermine it. In the intervening years it has in addition to attacks which have garnered global headlines developed relations with states as diverse as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Russia, and Qatar; negotiated prisoner exchanges and ceasefires with Israel; freed and released foreign hostages (including BBC journalist Alan Johnston) abducted by rivals and criminal gangs; endorsed a two-state settlement with Israel; and cooperated with a variety of UN agencies and international organisations. Its governance of the Gaza Strip years has, to varying degrees, been hegemonic and repressive, but like its politics and policies defies any comparison to that experienced under ISIS’s self-styled caliphate in Syria and Iraq.
ISIS has in fact been bitterly critical of Hamas, and considers the group in its entirety, as well as its individual members, “apostates” and “polytheists” – its most serious transgressions of all. This is on account of, among other mortal sins, Hamas’s participation in democratic elections, its failure to govern solely in accordance with shari’a (Islamic law), relations with Iran and other regional states, and prioritization of Palestinian liberation. Perhaps for this reason Hamas made short shrift of attempts by the Islamic State movement to establish a foothold in the Gaza Strip, primarily in Rafah, during 2015-2016.
END. Postscript: @rao2of has kindly pointed out a significant oversight on my part: that in its efforts to normalise relations with Egypt after initial post-Sisi coup hostility, Hamas began cooperating with Egypt's anti-ISIS campaign in Sinai, drawing even greater fury from it.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh):  Farewell Hajj and the Death of the Prophet (pbuh)
After the Death of the Prophet (PBUH)
The pure soul of the Seal of the Prophets reached A’la al-Illiyyun (the Highest Rank). His wives put a cloth over his body and started to cry.
Usama heard from his mother that the Messenger of Allah was living his last moments, he postponed setting off and came to the Mosque with his army. When the Companions heard the cries and screams coming from the house of the Prophet, they were shocked. It was as if the sky had fallen on them. Everybody was stupefied; the eyes were shedding tears of sorrow and grief.
Even Hazrat Umar, who was a symbol of courage and justice, was affected badly from that terrible moment; he was terrified and shouted,
“The Messenger of Allah did not die. He is alive. He was struck by lightning like Moses. If anyone says, ‘Muhammad died’, I will split him into two with my sword.”
Hazrat Abu Bakr Soothes People
When the Messenger of Allah died, Hazrat Abu Bakr was in his house in Sunh. They gave him the bad news. Hazrat Abu Bakr, who felt as if one part of his part broke off, went to the house of the Messenger of Allah quickly.
He lifted the cloth that covered the blessed face of the Messenger of Allah in terror and astonishment. His face was in the form of embodied light. He bowed down and kissed the Prophet’s bright and luminous forehead three times. He uttered the following words in tears:
“O Messenger of Allah! Your death is as clean and graceful as your life.”
Then, he consoled the household of the Prophet.
Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar
After leaving the house of the Prophet, Hazrat Abu Bakr went to the Mosque. He heard Hazrat Umar say, “The Messenger of Allah did not die.” Thereupon, he said,
“Whoever worships Muhammad (pbuh) should know that Muhammad (pbuh) died. Whoever worships Allah should know that Allah is Hayy (immortal).”[3]
Then, he recited the following verse:
“Muhammad is no more than a Messenger: many were the Messengers that passed away before Him. If he died or was slain, will ye then turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve him) with gratitude”[4]
This verse had been sent down during the Battle of Uhud, when a rumor stating that Muhammad was killed became widespread. Though the Companions had read that verse, maybe, hundreds or thousands times, but they seemed to have forgotten it due to their sorrow at that time.
However, Hazrat Abu Bakr who maintained his strength did not forget it; he fulfilled a great service and duty by reminding the Companions about it.
Upon the speech and reminder of Hazrat Abu Bakr, the Companions came to their senses. They pulled themselves together and overcame their astonishment.
Then, Hazrat Abu Bakr recited the following verse:
“(O Prophet! Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day).”
Hazrat Abu Bakr, who did not lose his strength, fulfilled a great service for the Islamic community through his speech.
The distinguished Companions realized and accepted that the Messenger of Allah had died; Hazrat Umar gave up saying, “the Messenger of Allah did not die.” And he came to his senses.
Madinah had never been so full of joy when the Messenger of Allah arrived in Madinah for the first time since the city was founded; the same Madinah was experiencing the saddest moments now; the skies of Madinah were covered with sorrow and grief.
Hazrat Abu Bakr is Elected as Caliph
Upon the death of the Messenger of Allah, Madinah was mourning. Eyes were shedding tears and hearts were shedding sorrow and grief.
However, mourning and sorrow would not settle things. It was necessary to elect a president, a Caliph, who would take care of the affairs of the Muslims and who would apply the decrees of Islam.
Soon, there was an attempt to choose the Caliph. The person that deserved this post more than everybody else was Hazrat Abu Bakr because the highest rank of the Companions were the most distinguished Companions that believed first in Makkah. And the most virtuous of them was Hazrat Abu Bakr. In fact, Hazrat Abbas and Hazrat Ali were closer to the Messenger of Allah than anybody else in terms of kinship but the Prophet regarded Hazrat Abu Bakr, who was his friend in cave, superior to all of the Companions. He showed it when he was ill too. He ordered all of the doors opening to the Mosque to be closed but let the door of Hazrat Abu Bakr open. He handed over the duty of leading prayers Hazrat Abu Bakr three days before his death. He made Abu Bakr lead prayers, one of the most important pillars of Islam. Therefore, he was the one that deserved being the Caliph after the death of the Messenger of Allah. And it happened like that.
After the long talks and negotiations made on Monday, the day when the Messenger of Allah died, from the afternoon until the evening, Hazrat Abu Bakr was elected the Caliph of the Messenger of Allah and people paid allegiance to him.
General Allegiance to Hazrat Abu Bakr
It was Rabiul-Awwal 13, Tuesday…
Hazrat Abu Bakr went to the Mosque of the Prophet and ascended to the pulpit.
Before he started to speak, Hazrat Umar stood up. After praising and thanking Allah, Hazrat Umar addressed the Muslims: “Allah made the best of you, the friend of the Messenger of Allah in the cave, your Caliph. Stand up and pay allegiance to him.”
The Muslims in the mosque stood up and paid general allegiance to Hazrat Abu Bakr.
After the allegiance, Hazrat Abu Bakr praised and thanked Allah, and spoke as follows:
O people! I was elected as your governor and Caliph though I am not the best of you. If I do good deeds, help me; if I do bad deeds, show me the right way. Honesty is reliability. Telling lies is betrayal. Inshaallah, the weakest one of you will be the strongest one of you in my eye until I surrender him his right. Inshaallah, the strongest one of you will be the weakest one of you in my eye until I remove from him the rights of others.
O people! Do not give up fighting in the way of Allah. Know it very well that a nation that gives up jihad will be servile. Obey me as long as I obey Allah and His Messenger; if I do not obey Allah and His Messenger, do not obey me. I ask forgiveness for me and you from Allah.”
The Prophet is Washed and Enshrouded
The Muslims were busy with electing the Caliph, who would take care of the affairs of the Muslims, on the 12th day of the month of Rabiul-Awwal from the afternoon until the evening; so washing and enshrouding the dead body of the Prophet was postponed to Tuesday. After the general allegiance to Hazrat Abu Bakr was completed in the Mosque of the Prophet on Tuesday, the dead body of the Messenger of Allah was started to be washed and enshrouded.
Hazrat Ali, Abbas, Fadl b. Abbas, Qusam b. Abbas, Usama b. Zayd and Shukran (Salih), the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah, were in the house of the Prophet in order to wash him.
Ansar also wanted to contribute to this lofty service. They expressed their wish regarding the issue. Hazrat Ali allowed Aws b. Hawli on behalf of Ansar.
Hazrat Ali washed the Messenger of Allah because he said to Hazrat Ali when he was alive, “You wash my body when I die.”
Aws b. Hawli brought water with a pitcher; Abbas, Usama and Shukran poured water over the body of the Prophet. Hazrat Ali rubbed the body of the Prophet with the cloth that he wrapped around his hand. The body of the Prophet was very clean; it smelled nice. The house of the Prophet smelt very nice; they had not smelt such nice scent before. There was nothing in or on the body of the Prophet that were usually seen in dead bodies. While washing the Prophet, Hazrat Ali said, “May my mother and father be sacrificed for you! O Messenger of Allah! You are clean when you are alive and dead.”
After the washing was completed, the Seal of the Prophet was enshrouded by Hazrat Ali, Abbas, Fadl b. Abbas and Shukran.
Janazah Prayer of the Prophet is Performed
On the 13th of the month of Rabiul-Awwal, Tuesday, the washing and enshrouding of the Messenger of Allah was completed before noon. The body was put on the bed of the room of the Prophet. At first the men, then the women and last of all the children fulfilled their last duty toward the Prophet in awe and sorrow.
Burial of the Messenger of Allah
The issue of where to bury the Messenger of Allah was negotiated.
Some people suggested taking the body to Makkah; some suggested burying him in Madinah in the Cemetery of Baqi and others suggested burying him in the Mosque.
However, Hazrat Abu Bakr said, “I heard this sentence from the Messenger of Allah and I have not forgotten it: ‘God Almighty removed the soul of each prophet where He wanted him to be buried.’ Therefore, we should bury the Messenger of Allah where his bed he lied on was.”
This suggestion was adopted by the Companions. Thus, they decided to dig the place under the bed in the house of Aisha as the grave of the Messenger of Allah. Then, the bed was removed and that place was dug in the form of a grave.
Bilal Makes Muslims Cry
The Messenger of Allah had not been buried yet.
Bilal called the adhan with his touching voice. When he uttered, “Ashadu anna Muhammada’r-Rasulullah”, the Companions started to cry sobbingly. The Mosque of the Prophet was full of crying sounds.
It was the last adhan recited by Bilal. He did not recite adhan again after the death of the Messenger of Allah.
The Prophet is Put into the Grave
It was late Wednesday night.
The Companions placed the dead body of the Messenger of Allah into the grave among tears.
We have tried to narrate the phases of this unique life as much as we can; now we are finishing it with the following prayer:
O Allah! Do not keep us away from the sunnah of Your Messenger in this world; do not deprive us of his intercession in the hereafter!
Amin… Amin… Amin…

Good morning. 🍃🍃🍂
14 October 2024
Tumblr media
I was wondering what was happening 1000 years ago today, so I asked Copilot. Most of this is drawn from wikipedia.org:
On October 14, 1024, several significant events were unfolding around the world:
Salih ibn Mirdas' Forces: Salih ibn Mirdas' forces, led by Ibn Tawq, were advancing against Aleppo. They engaged in sporadic battles with the Fatimid troops of governors Thu'ban and Mawsuf. Salih and the Bedouins camped outside Bab al-Jinan and demanded the surrender of the lead Islamic judge of the city, Ibn Abi Usama, who refused
Aleppo is a city in northwestern Syria, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) south of the Turkish border. It's one of the oldest continuously-inhabited cities in the world.

Inspirational Queer Muslims you need know about them
Tuways
Tuways or Tuwais was a renowned Mukhannath individual in the early days of Islamic Arabia. His/Her real name was Abu Abd al-Munim Isa Abdallah al-Dhāib. In Arabic, the name Tuways or Tuwais means peacock. They were born in 632 AD in Medina, on the same day Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) passed away. According to various scholars, Tuways is often described as one of the leading Mukhannath musicians of Medina during his/her lifetime. He/She served as a mawlā of the Banū Mak̲h̲zūm, under the patronage of Arwā bt. Kurayz, the mother of the Caliph ʿUt̲h̲mān b. ʿAffān.
Tuways initially gained recognition by performing melodies learned from Persian captives & went on to become a celebrated musician during the Rashidun Caliphate, the first Islamic Caliphate. According to some accounts, he/she was a devout queer Muslim and was never blamed for his/her queerness.
al-Dalal
al-Dalal was a Mukhannath poet & musician, based in Medinah. Not much is known about his life. Tuways was his/her master and he/she was one of the favourite pupil of Tuways. al-Dalal is often portrayed as a witty but sometimes crude male who "loved women" but disliked to have sex with them. Few accounts report that he was a bisexual, had sexual encounter with both woman & her groom.
During the reing of Umayyad Caliph Sulayman ibn Abd al-Malik, al-Dalal, along with other Mukhannathun were persecuted for their boldness. They were forcefully castrated. They were enslaved by Umayyads.
Abu Nawas
Abū Nuwās (also known as:Abū Nuwās al-Salamī, Abū 'Alī) was an openly gay poet, and the foremost representative of the modern (muhdath) poetry that developed during the first years of Abbasid Caliphate. He also entered the folkloric tradition, appearing several times in One Thousand and One Nights.
He attended a Qur’an school and became a Hafiz at a young age.His youthful good looks and innate charisma attracted the attention of the Kufan poet, Abu Usama Waliba ibn al-Hubab al-Asadi, who took Abu Nuwas to Kufa as a young apprentice. Waliba recognized in Abu Nuwas his talent as a poet and encouraged him toward this vocation, but was also attracted sexually to the young man and may have had erotic relations with him. Abu Nuwas's relationships with adolescent boys when he had matured as a man seem to mirror his own experience with Waliba. Abu Nuwas wrote poetry in multiple genres; Abu Nuwas’s diwan, his poetry collection, was divided by genre: panegyric poems, elegies, invective, courtly love poems on men and women, poems of penitence, hunting poems, and wine poems. His erotic lyric poetry, which is often homoerotic, is known from over 500 poems and fragments.
Mahmud of Ghazni
Yamin-ud-Dawla Abul Qasim Mahmud commonly known as “Mahmud of Ghazni” or “Mahmud Ghaznavi”. He was known as a great sultan of Ghaznavid Empire. But he is also controversial for his invasion in indian subcontinent & treatment of non-muslims. Besides, he is regarded as icon of queer love.
Mahmud was a bisexual muslim. Mahmud had 9 wives and innumerable concubines as well as male slaves. Mahmud of Ghazni's name is often associated with a man named “Malik Ayaz”. Malik Ayaz was a handsome Turkic-Georgian slave brought by Sultan Mahmud. He was a very close companion of Mahmud; was very devoted to the him and fullfilled his all wishes.
The relationship between Mahmud and Ayaz is highly celebrated in Persian poetry and literature. There are a set of 6 poems by Farid al-Din Attar that are inspired by this relationship. Sa'di, a 13th-century poet includes 2 stories about the lovers in his best-known work, Bustan, a collection of reflections on human nature. The chapter “Concerning Love” describes someone complaining that Mahmud’s favourite slave “possesses no beauty.” Upon hearing this, Mahmud responds, “My love, O sir, is for virtue, not for form or stature.” The second story depicts the king travelling with some of his men when an overturned chest of pearls is discovered; all except Ayaz go after the pearls. Questioned by Mahmud about the possibility of gaining riches, Ayaz explains he wants nothing. “I walked in haste behind thee, I do not occupy myself with riches away from thy service.” Nidhami-I-Arudi, a 12th-century Ghaznavid court poet describes the well-known and famous love of Sultan Mahmud for Ayaz, though he explains that Mahmud, being a “pious and God-fearing man,” wrestled with this love. One night after drinking a lot of wine, Mahmud couldn’t ignore Ayaz’s beauty: “Thereupon love plucked the reins of self-restraint from the hands of his endurance, and lover-like he drew him to himself.”
Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad (Babar)
Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad commonly known as Babar or Babur. Babar was the founder of the Mughal Empire. He was a Bisexual & was also the first queer ruler in Mughal Dynasty. Babur's religious and philosophical stances are characterized as humanistic. Babur was an acclaimed writer, who had a profound love for literature. His library was one of his most beloved possessions that he always carried around with him, & books were one of the treasures he searched for in new conquered lands. During his 47-year life, Babur left a rich literary and scientific heritage. He authored his famous memoir the Bāburnāma, as well as beautiful lyrical works or ghazals, treatises on Muslim jurisprudence (Mubayyin), poetics (Aruz risolasi), music, and a special calligraphy, known as khatt-i Baburi.
He married multiple times but had little attraction towards women. Babur had an affair with his male slave named Baburi Andijani (also known as Baburi). Babur rescued him from the Uzbek camp market in 1499. Babur mentioned his lover's name several times in the "Babarnama" and expressed his feelings towards Baburi without fear. Babur even wrote several Persian romantic poems about same gender love. It is also claimed that Babur built Babri Masjid as a token of love for Baburi Andijani (well, I am not pretty sure)
Maryam Khatoon Molkara
Maryam Khatoon Molkara was a well-known transgender rights campaigner, broadcaster & volunteer in Iran, where she is widely recognized as a matriarch of trans communities. Maryam was later instrumental in obtaining a letter which acted as a fatwa enabling sex reassignment surgery to exist as part of a legal framework. After the Islamic Revolution, Maryam faced intense backlash due to her gender identity. She underwent arrests, and death threats. She was fired from her job at the Iranian National Radio and Television, forced to wear masculine clothing, injected with male hormones against her will, and detained in a psychiatric institution. Later she was released by the help of religious leaders. She also fought for legal recognition of trans people in Iran.
In 2007, she founded the Iranian Society to Support Individuals with Gender Identity Disorder (Persian: حمایت از بیماران مبتلا به اختلالات هویت جنسی ایران) the first state-approved organization for transgender rights in Iran. Before this, she used her own property in Karaj to help other transgender people receive legal advice and medical care, including post-operative care. She continued advocating for other transgender people and bailing them out of prison after they were arrested, even knowing she would likely face violence for doing so.
Sally Mursi
Sally Mursi was an Egyptian transsexual entertainer. She was most controversial figure in Egypt for her sex reassignment surgery.Sally was born in a religious muslim family.Sally was a student of Al-Azhar, which is renowned as one of the world's most prestigious universities for Islamic learning. She completed her sex reassignment surgery in 1988. When Al-Azhar's Medical School for Boys came to know about her sex-change operation, they refused to accept her as their student.
She was also accused of trying to get out of military service and was ordered to report for induction into the army. Army doctors examined her, and finding that she was a woman, concluded that Sally was not medically fit for military service.Sally was refused a transfer to Al-Azhar’s Medical School for Girls. So she filed a case against Al-Azhar Medical School later which stirred a nationwide controversy. Despite going through many problems, she didn't stop her fight for her rights.
At that time Mohammed Sayyed Tantawi, Grand Mufti of Al-Azhar, issued a fatwa that Sally's change was necessary for her health but that before the operation she should for one year dress, behave and comply with all obligations of Islam for women (except for marital obligations). This fatwa was the first Sunni ruling on sex reaffirmation surgery. Eventually Sally won 2 legal rulings against the Al-Azhar school, but it ignored them, and also blacklisted her at other medical schools. So she completed her education from Cairo University on literature.Sally also legally married with a man in Egypt. But still transsexuals like sally faced discrimination & harassment in Egypt.
Bülent Ersoy
Bülent Ersoy is a popular transsexual singer and actress of Turkey. Often nicknamed Diva by her fans. Ersoy's some of the famous hits are "Ümit Hırsızı", "Geceler", "Beddua" , "Maazallah", "Biz Ayrılamayız" and "Sefam olsun". Ersoy Ersoy began her career as a male singer, in the genre of Turkish classical music. Her grandparents played classical Turkish music and she first took private lessons and then studied at Istanbul Municipal Conservatory. Already one of Turkey's most popular singers and actors, she gained international notoriety in April 1981 after having sex reassignment surgery in London by a British plastic surgeon. She kept the name "Bülent" even though it is a typically masculine name. After the operation, Ersoy found herself in opposition to 1980 Turkish coup d'état of Kenan Evren. In a crackdown on "social deviance," Ersoy's public performances were banned along with those of other transgender people. To circumvent the ban, she petitioned the Turkish courts to legally recognize her as a woman. The petition was rejected in January 1982. Days later, she attempted suicide. In 1983, she left Turkey in protest of the Evren regime's repressive policies and continued her career in Germany. Along with her musical career, she made several Turkish movies in Germany.Later Ersoy came back to turkey when Evren left office and many of his policies were rescinded.

Hello! The chronicles you've been reading seem super interesting, what are the titles 👀?
One is the chronicles by Usama ibn Munqidh, I am reading the version curated by P. M. Cobb under the title “The book of contemplations”, but you can find it also curated by P. K. Hitti under the title “An Arab-Syrian Gentleman and Warrior in the Period of the Crusades; Memoirs of Usamah ibn-Munqidh”.
The other one is the “Cronica” of Salimbene de Adam (the most opinionated man of his times), translated from latin by C. Cantarelli.

Unveil
(Gp actress x fem reader)
(Scene # 03)
(your name is Fairoz in the story)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unveil part 1 Unveil part 2
Fairoz's eyes lingered on the fabrics that were laid out on her bed. The fabrics which were sent as a gift by the Dagons. Not only that but the jewelery as as well. Her aunt , Dilay excitedly displaying the gifts to Fairoz while her ramble about how 'the dresses ould be designed' , 'how beautiful, expensive and refined this embroidery looks' and 'which dress would Fairoz wear on what occasion' remained constant to her neices's ears.
It had been a week since Fairoz had accepted Aman's proposal, but not initially. Yes, the girl had rejected Aman. She just couldn't imagine such a life nor had any interest in marriage, especially if it was with Aman. It would seem unfair to Aman as well. Nevertheless Aman was persistent.
'We can get engaged only.'
'Don't do this to me...'
Words like that which Aman said to her in their second meeting. It was quite embarrassing and almost made Fairoz feel guilty but she reminded herself that it was her choice , why should she feel bad. It's not Aman's life , it's mine. She is not the main character here , I am.
Her pillar of strength after her parents death was her uncle , Usama. How he brought her up , supported her , just like her own father would have done. So when she heard him pleading as if his life dependant on it on the phone with whom she presumed was Aman's father , her walls weakened as well. Her uncle was in a turmoil . The man known for his charisma and outstanding works , was broken .
"Report them, papa. Tell the police. They have no right to--
"Dove, you have no idea, what they can do."
"But even if I accept the proposal, how the hell would I spend my life with her knowing her family threatened you! This isn't right. Ugh! This is making me soo ---" Fairoz slapped her uncle's study table which was followed by a bleak silence.
"How were you even working with such horrendous people, baba?."
Usama sighed and sat on the couch. "I--because I focused on the work, Fairoz. Working with her was bound to happen one day. I never thought that this day would come where she would be asking for---" he paused and gulped "It's my fault, I shouldn't have brought you with me to the set that day." Fairoz leaned off the table and scurried to her uncle's side.
"No, no, don't blame yourself. I wanted to see it remember? And who could ever imagine what is going to happen next---isn't this what we call life. We face tests, fears, predicaments and happiness. These things make up the whole experience of what we call life. Now, putting aside the worry, let's think about a solution." Usama smiled and gently patted the girl's left cheek. She was always so level-headed and strong-willed. His brother would be so happy----if only he was here, maybe he would have protected his daughter better. 'I failed at it....so bad.'
"Looking at the pros, well, Aman really likes you. She would keep you happy....probably. She has left the industry and has a stable life. And cons--" Usama breathed in a sigh "Do I have to explain? Their wealth is their power. I am like any other parent, deeming Aman as untrustworthy to be your life partner. She is stubborn, hot-headed, and--I don't know. " Usama put his head in his hands. All of this was giving him a headache. How can the safety of Fairoz be guaranteed? She was his daughter. He and Dilay were unable to have children and Fairoz fulfilled their dream. No! He has to remain strong for her.
"Papa--I don't think there is any solution for them to leave us alone except that I accept it---right?" They both stared at each other. Usama was trying to convince himself that no there has to be a way other than this.
"If your job is at stake then I wouldn't jeopardize it. You and Mama did so much for me, you both don't deserve it. And I assure you, I would be fine, absolutely fine. She would have no power over me, I won't let her." Her tone was filled with so much conviction and ...reprisal that Usama was speechless. He couldn't even reply before she spoke "You can call and say yes to Aman for me. Now, take a good night's rest and forget all about this. Imagine this never happened and be happy that your daughter is getting married." Giggling she kissed his forehead and left the room. Usama, with his heart full of regret, anger, guilt, and dejection, did what had to be done.
Present time
"I mean yeah, I know---but that is not what I wanted. Wait, hold up. I'll call you later. And you better have a solution when I call you again." After whispering the last part Aman hung up the phone, her eyes stuck to the figure which they were dying to see. It was as if a sudden wave of coolness and placidity had spread over all the nerves and each and every cell in her body. She was in white kameez and trousers, with minimal makeup and accessories. A bag lazily hung on her shoulder which indicated she was coming from her college. Her beautiful and absolutely breathtaking soon-to-be-wife elegantly stood by the door. Her expression is devoid of feelings, the feelings which were felt by Aman at that moment. But that's okay. One day those feelings will be reflected back.
'She will be happy seeing me. She will be happier when she starts her life with me. Her shyness is almost gone, and sadness will be over too. After all, she has no idea how lucky she is yet.'
"Fairoz, always so good to see you." By now Aman hadn't even noticed that instead of inviting Fairoz in , she had walked up to her, near the door. She took the chance to close the door whose handle Fairoz was holding casually and took a deep breath, inhaling her fairy's scent. "So--umm what brings you here? , love. Did you come by yourself? You could have called me---I would have picked you or sent the driver--you
"My uncle also has a driver," Fairoz stated the obvious. Aman scoffed in her mind 'Oh yeah, her uncle exists too.'
"Anyway, come have a seat." Instead of the table, Aman led her to the couch and immediately dialled her PA's number to order some refreshments.
"When I told them I wanted to meet you, they didn't question me. Do they already know?." Fairoz referred to the employees.
"Yeah, of course. I told them the very day, I got the good news." Fairoz nearly gagged at the appearance of red hue on Aman's ears and cheeks. Too much bashfulness for someone who belongs to a family of blackmailers.
"Were you missing me love? I did. I miss you every day, every second. Can't begin to tell you how happy I am to see you here."
"Well , this is going to be normal , I guess , me coming here---everyday." It was as if Aman's ecstasy reached a new high. Really?! Her wife would do that?!
"I am going to work here so might as well get to know the map and people, right? That is why I came here since I was free from college early today." Fairoz plastered her most gentle smile. Meanwhile, Aman blinked in confusion. Work here? Oh....
"Yeah , yeah of course. I would give you a tour."
"Not only the tour, though. You would take my interview and hire me as well. " Fairoz reached into her bag and took out a file. "See, I brought my CV. " Which contained all the digital work as well as some internships Fairoz had done up til now, not to forget extracurricular activities relating to business in her college. "But this is for later--first the tour. I can't wait further. Please."
God , this girl. Where did this demanding behaviour come from though? Was she teasing? Or serious. She looks serious. And cute and....
"Umm--damn. Isn't someone too excited? Isn't it early though? Like interview can be done after marriage."
"Yeah, it can but you know I don't trust anyone so easily. " She put her hand on the side of her face as if she was telling Aman a secret "Also--what if you don't hire me after marriage. People change you know."
Well---that was the plan but this girl---how can Aman say no? Her doe eyes are not made for tears.
'I can't be a villain right now. She already knows about the threats--of course she does--she hasn't discussed them with me which is very odd but if I say no to her---she will hate me more. I don't want my wife to hate me. Dammit , why did father had to do such a vile thing. I would have convinced her through my gifts and charm but no , he has to ruin everything!.'
"Of course , love. As you wish. And you will work here , totally your call. Come on , let's go." Aman took her on a tour and also to her dismay she had to make Fairoz meet other people. She hated every moment when her wife smiled and giggled with someone.
'That is meant for me!'
after that they came back to Aman's office, had some snacks, and in between that, Aman read her CV. She was indeed impressed with her girl. Such a hardworking pookie.
"So , Ms. Fairoz , what is your weakness. Sorry I had to ask this. HAHA!."
"Mhm. Well, weakness can make you stronger if you know how to overcome it, but what good would it do me if I revealed my weakness. Because to oneself weakness is their power but the moment someone else gets to know of it---they use it against you. So I refuse to answer such a stupid question."
"....."
Oh God. Control yourself and your thoughts Aman.
'Fuck, that was hot.'
Clearing her throat , Aman smirked. "Very well , love--
"Uh uh. Ms. Fairoz at the moment , not love. Ma'am."
'Okay, it's okay. Think of something else. God, ma'am. That word just did wonders to my senses. Am I going to be hearing this every day? Fuck, yes. Say it again, baby.'
"Hello?? Ma'am Aman. I think I should go now. You should work too." And before Aman could get out of her daze and stand up to stop her , or say something at least , Fairoz leaned down and kissed her cheek.
"Have a good day at work. Bye."
"......bye..." What is happening? No, no. Wait, her eyes traveled to the contract on the table that Fairoz had just signed. An offer letter.
'What---no that was not I imagined. Why did I do it?! Oh my God. But how could I have said no? Maybe it is good...I mean...what? , I was fucking enjoying every second of it. But still ARGH! That means she won't be a housewife instead she would meet other people. That is disgusting. People are shitheads. No, no. Whatever, I will take care of this later. Let's get back to work right now.'
As a matter of fact. no. After marriage, Fairoz continued to work here and for Aman, it was as if it was a crime to say no to her wife well in some things Fairoz let her have some say. But Aman's lovestruck dumb brain didn't know it was just so Fairoz could let her feel some power and fuel her ego. To give her a sense of authority and shatter it in the next.
For example , fine Aman lets Fairoz go to meet her uncle but that is because Fairoz lets Aman choose the dress after all Fairoz asks in her best sweet voice.
Making Aman invest in her uncle's project, it's okay if Aman does not want to do it. Just go sleep in the guest room then and forget about even interacting with Fairoz because you are going to get ignored for weeks.
Fairoz cooks Aman's favorite dish on the condition that she makes her father apologize to Usama for his harsh words. Pretty lucrative deal for Aman if you ask me. I mean your soulmate's happiness in exchange for such petty requests? Bring them on!
But Aman still doesn't let go of her dark side too. If someone dares to bring a minute disturbance in her wife's life even if she is not aware of it, they get to face Aman. Prepare to get your whole life destroyed. For instance, after it was confirmed that she was married to the niece/daughter of Usama. Yes, people somehow found it out. What else do you expect from no-lifers? There was a mixed reaction. Thankfully there were almost near to zero information about Fairoz online, Usama did a great job at protecting his family's privacy, but still, people had their way of doing things. I mean who can escape from cameras in this age?. Anyway, some limits were crossed and so Aman had to cross some too. Nobody gets to spread goss or even get the right to comment anything near to bad about her wife. You are getting sued, baby. The plus point is that Fairoz doesn't even know about it because she developed a phobia of searching for herself or Aman's on the internet. After all, in her heart she knew she would stumble upon something distasteful so it better to avoid it in the first place, so her mind was in a good place---except for the fact she was now living with Aman. Albeit doing a good job at cooling Aman's controlling nature she was still amazed at her ability to be stubborn at times.
"Come on--baby , please. I would do anything."
"No. I am only 27."
"So? What does---isn't that like a reason to-
"Aman you are talking about a baby, not a go-kart." Aman cuddled Fairoz before she could get up from the couch. "Nah, I am not letting you run away, darling." Her voice made Farioz's whole chest vibrate.
"You are acting like one yourself , I don't think we need another one."
"Noooo----well this baby of yours will raise chaos if you don't give it another friend." Aman pouted and started to pepper kisses on her wife's face.
"Aman--Stop it!"
"I know---I hate babies--but of course, I have to have one. What about my bloodline? I promise to be a good parent. Babyyy---." She whined making Fairoz push her away aggressively.
" Is that supposed to make me feel better? What are the chances of you not hating your own?"
"..........50 , okay how about ..50.85 percent."
"......"
"AMAN!" The couple got startled by none other than Mr. Dogan.
"What utter shame have you brought on our family! Begging your wife? THAT TOO FOR A CHILD? Why do you even need her permission?? I might have not said this before but you really tarnished your ancestors and my name today. Your grandfather would have had a heart attack if he witnessed this now!." The couple stared at him silently. Fairoz spared a single glance at Aman which made the latter shiver more than her father's words, and then left the room stomping.
"SEE! Look how she behaves! And look at you! WOW! Sitting like she didn't just disrespect me just now!."
Aman had enough.
"FATHER! First of all this is a private matter and do I look like I give a damn about what grandfather would have thought?! This is not the 90's! Also---don't ever say anything about my wife like that. You ruined her mood."
'And now I will suffer . She won't feed me with her hands anymore. Life is soo not fair!.'
"I was so close to convincing her! You always ruin my plans! Leave us alone for once! Fizzy! My love!!." And just like that Aman sprinted upstairs leaving her father flabbergasted. What has she become? A woman of power acting like a dog.
'I should have never sided with her on this marriage.'
(AN: Lmao💀, love the turn this story took. Originally started as a dark fic and ended up being a crack and tbh loved writing it. Couldn't have thought of a better ending. Aman's ego really downsized, lol. Yanderes getting reversed uno is what I live to see👍)

🍃🕊🍃 Wiladat Anniversary of Imam Zaynal al-Abideen (as) 5th Sha’ban 🍃
🍃 Birth 🍃
In the period of the second caliph “Ummer”, the Muslims conquered Iran. The daughters of Yazdgard were brought to Madina.
All had gathered in the mosque of Madina to see what was the decision of the caliph, about them. He wanted to sell them but Imam Ali (as) stopped him from doing so and said to Urnmer, “leave the girls free so that they marry whosoever they wish.”
One of the girls chose Imam Hussain (as) and the other chose Imam Hasan (as). Imam Ali (as) said to Hussain, “Look after this woman very well, because, from her an Imam will come into existence (born) who will be the best of the God’s creations upon the earth and the father of all the Imams (after himself).
Not very long after that the sun of his existence arose, on Thursday, the 5th of Sha’ban, 38th Hijrah, in Madina.
He was named “Ali” later on titled as Zaynal al-Abideen (as) (the decoration of the worshippers) and Sajjad (one who performs much prostration).
🍃 The Ethical and Moral Characteristics of Imam (as) 🍃
1. Piety and Abstinence:
One of the special features of Imam’s character was his piety and abstinence. Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as) said, “Ali Ibn-ul-Hussain (as) resembled most of all the sons of Bani Hashim, with Ali (as)”.
His son Imam Muhammad Baqir (as) said, “One day I happened to see my father, I saw him (completely) immersed and (thoroughly pre occupied) in the prayers and with all the attention towards God. His color was faded and his eyes were sore and red due to weeping, his feet were swollen by (prostration) and legs, and knees had developed corns. I said humbly “Oh father, why do you loose your self control during the prayers and put yourself in such an inconvenience and discomfort. My father wept and said, “Oh son however and whatsoever amount of prayers I perform even then it is meager and very little as compared to the prayers of your grandfather, “Ali Ibn-Abi Talib.”
Taous Yamni says, I saw Imam lying in prostration saying, “Oh God your servant, needy towards you, is in your house waiting for your blessing, forgiveness and favor”.
2. Attention to the life and training of people:
Imam Zaynalal-Abideen (as), like his grandfather, was busy in cultivating land and palm date orchards. He offered two Rakat of prayer near each palm date tree. During the prayers he would get himself so absorbed that he did not have any attention towards anything except God. He traveled to Mecca, on foot, twenty times. And continuously guided and conducted people through the attractive melody of the Qur’anic verses.
All the human qualities and attributes were collectively present in his personality. He was the complete specimen of tolerance, forgiveness and self-sacrifice. He looked after and administrated hundreds of houses of the poor and hunger stricken. Daily a number of goats were slaughtered in his house and he distributed all their meat among the afflicted. He dressed the naked and dress less ones and paid their debts and loans. But he himself took simple meals and put on simple dress.
A person came to Ali Ibn-ul-Hussain (as) and started addressing him with filthy and abusive language. Imam (as) turned his face towards him without the slightest anger and quarrel or strife and said, “Oh brother, if what you say is right and correct and these vices are present in me then God may pardon and forgive my sin. And if you are telling a lie then God may forgive you and pardon your sin.”
The man was very much ashamed and asked Imam (as) to pardon him. Abu Hamza Somali who was one of the friends of Imam (as) asked his servant to briefly define the character and morals of Imam (as). He said so, “I am at his service for so many years. Whatever I saw was righteousness, piety and purity. My lord helps and assists the people and solves their problems, with all the difficulties worries and pre occupations that he himself faces. Zaid bin Usama was lying on the deathbed. Imam Sajjad (as) visited him, Zaid was weeping. When Imam (as) asked him the reason of his weeping he said, “I have to pay fifteen thousand Dinnars as my loan and debt and my wealth is not so much as to pay off the debt.” Imam said, “Do not weep and be contented, I will pay all of your loan.”
When the nights would become dark and all the people went to sleep, Imam Sajjad (as) would get up put the food in a sack and on his shoulder. He covered his face so that he is not recognized. Then he took that food to the houses of the inflicted and have-nots and gave it to them.
He administrated and looked after nearly a hundred guardians less family in Madina, most of them comprised indigent, helpless and crippled, handicapped and paralytic ones.
What a surprise! None of these families knew that Imam Zaynal al-Abideen (as) was the one who managed and run their lives.
But after his death, when the aids were discontinued they came to know that Imam (as) was their helper and friend.
🍃 Imam Sajjad (as) and the Sahifa-e-Sajjadia
When the Imam got stuck in a tight corner and was virtually besieged he was obliged to state his objects and motive in the form of the prayers. These prayers have been compiled in the shape of a book named “Sahifa-e-Sajjadia.” This is an ocean of topics and objects of science, mathematics, physics, astronomy, social and political sciences and ethics. Obviously and apparently this is a book of prayers.
But, in fact, this is the expression of fact, pains, and difficulties. We present here a few sentences of it as a specimen.
1. Oh God! I take asylum and refuge with you from the revolt, and rebellious (attitude) refractoriness, of the anger and jealousy and the scarcity of patience, and extravagance and intemperance in life.
Oh God! Keep me alive till my life is led in your service and obedience and when it becomes the pasture and meadow of Satan, take me towards yourself and take my life.”
2. Oh sons! Respect you father and mother because if the father was not there you would not have come into existence. Look at the mother that she looks after you with all of her existence (energies). She is not afraid of it that she herself remains hungry and feeds you. She herself remains cloth less (without dress) and covers (dresses) you. She remains in the sun and places you in the Shadow. You cannot thank her. This is God who has the power of thanking her (giving her the reward).
3. Watch over and attend your child because his good or bad (virtues) are related and connected to you and you are responsible for his training and guidance.
4. Be kind to your brother and sister because he/she is your hand (helper) and your power. Help him against the enemy and be his well wisher.
5. Respect your teacher and be polite in his assembly (session) and listen carefully to his words. Do not talk loudly before him. If somebody questions him about something do not reply before he does although you may know the answer to that (question).
6. Respect your neighbor and help and assist him. If you happen to observe a fault or sin of him do hide it and when he slips (commits sin) admonish him.
7. Be just in your conduct and behavior with friend and love him as he loves you. If he makes up his mind to commit a sin stop him from that and always be a blessing for him, not a torment for him.

"How beautiful it would be, if someone calls you their home and write poetry for you, write about your beauty, not the way you look but how your heart and the soul is, despite all the imperfections you carry, nothing soothes them more than your presence. They just don't dream to be with you they ask God for this."

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh):  Farewell Hajj and the Death of the Prophet (pbuh)
The Prophet Asks the Muslims to Forgive Him and He Forgives them
The Messenger of Allah wanted to meet his Companions and forgive one another when his illness was very severe one day.
He leaned on Hazrat Ali and Fadl b. Abbas, stood up with difficulty and went to the Mosque. He ascended to the pulpit and sat.
He said to Bilal,
“Call out to people and tell them to gather in the Mosque. I want to address them. This will be my last address and will.”
Bilal fulfilled this order. The mosque became full of people.
After praising and thanking Allah, the Messenger of Allah addressed his Companions as follows:
“O people! The time to leave you has approached. If I have hit any of you, here is my back; come and hit my back. If I have taken the property of any of you, come and ask it from me. Do not ever have the thought, “the Messenger will get angry with me if I ask my right.” I never get angry with anyone when they ask what they deserve. The best of you in my eye is the one that asks what I owe him or says that he waives his right. I want to go to the presence of my Lord without having any rights of any people.”
There was a sad silence. The Messenger of Allah repeated his words: “O people! If I have hit any of you, here is my back; come and hit my back. If I have taken the property of any of you, here is my property; take it.”
Somebody stood up and said, “O Messenger of Allah! You owe me three dirhams.”
The Prophet said, “I will never say to anyone that he is lying or never ask anyone to swear about this issue; however, I would like to know how I owe you this amount.”
The man said, “O Messenger of Allah! Once, a poor man came to you. You ordered me to give him three dirhams and I gave it to him. That is what I want.”
The Messenger of Allah said, “You are telling the truth.” He said to Fadl, “O Fadl! Give this man three dirhams.”
The Doors Opening to the Mosque are Closed
After that the Messenger of Allah said, “Close all of the doors that open to the Mosque; leave only the door of Abu Bakr open.”
Upon this order, all of the doors of the houses around the Mosque opening to the Mosque except Hazrat Abu Bakr’s were closed.
Hazrat Abu Bakr is Appointed to Lead the Prayers
During the illness of the Messenger of Allah, he always came to the mosque when the adhan was called and led the prayer.
Three days before his death, his illness got worse. Therefore, he could not go to the mosque. He said, “Tell Abu Bakr to lead the prayer.”[
Thus, he left the duty of leading prayers to Hazrat Abu Bakr.
The Prophet Leads the Prayer for the Last Time
Hazrat Abu Bakr was about to lead the noon prayer.
Meanwhile, the Messenger of Allah felt a bit relieved. He went to the Mosque with the help of Abbas and Hazrat Ali.
When Hz Abu Bakr understood that the Messenger of Allah was coming, he wanted to move back. The Prophet signed to him to stand there. Then, the Prophet ordered the people around him to make him sit next to Abu Bakr. They made him sit on the left of Abu Bakr. The Prophet led the prayer by sitting.
This was the last prayer that the Messenger of Allah led in the Mosque of the Prophet.
Gabriel Comes to Ask about his Health
It was the tenth of Rabiul-Awwal, Saturday.
Gabriel was sent by God Almighty to ask about the health of the Messenger of Allah. He said,
“O Ahmad! Allah sent me to you. Although He knows what he will ask you better than you do, He is asking, ‘How are you?’”
The Messenger of Allah, who felt the longing for meeting Allah in his heart, said, “O Gabriel! I feel troubled and as if I will faint.”
One Day before his Death
It was the eleventh day of Rabiul-Awwal, Sunday…
Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), the Prophet of the jinn and people, had a very high temperature. His wives were around him. Aisha was next to his head.
Meanwhile, Usama came from the military headquarters. The Prophet was lying lost in thought. He had no power to move. Usama kissed his blessed hands and head. He was full of grief and sorrow. He stood opposite the Messenger of Allah respectfully. The Prophet did not say anything. He only raised his hands and wiped them on Usama. It was understood that he was praying for Usama.[10]
After the Messenger of Allah prayed for Usamah, Usamah went straight to his army.
Gabriel Comes for the Second Time
It was the eleventh of Rabiul-Awwal, Sunday…
Gabriel came again to ask about his health. He also informed the Prophet that Aswad al-Ansi, who claimed to be a prophet in Yemen, had been killed. The Messenger of Allah informed the Companions about it.
That Monday
Monday was an important day for the Prophet… He was born on Rabiul-Awwal 12, Monday…
The Messenger of Allah felt a bit relieved on Monday. When he felt it, he stood up, made preparations and went to the Mosque.
Meanwhile, the Companions were performing the morning prayer behind Hazrat Abu Bakr. The Prophet was very glad to see this luminous scene and he smiled. He also performed the morning prayer behind Hazrat Abu Bakr.
When the Companions saw the Messenger of Allah with a smiling face among themselves, they became very happy thinking that the Prophet recovered.
The Prophet in his own Room
The Messenger of Allah, who performed the morning prayer of his last day behind Hazrat Abu Bakr and rejoiced his Companions, went back to his room after the prayer. Then, he went to bed.
Meanwhile, Usama, the commander, came to say farewell.
The Messenger of Allah said, “Set off with the blessing of Allah today.”
Upon this order, Usama b. Zayd went to the headquarters and ordered the mujahids to move.
Hazrat Abu Bakr Asks Permission to go to his House in Sunh
On Monday, Hazrat Abu Bakr noticed that the Messenger of Allah was better. Therefore, he went to the Messenger of Allah and said to him,  “O Messenger of Allah! Thank God, you are better this morning. If you let me, I want to go to my house in Sunh.”
The Messenger of Allah said, “All right!”
Thereupon, Hazrat Abu Bakr went to his house in Sunh.
He Addresses the Muslims and his Household
His last day… Monday…
The Messenger of Allah uttered the following sentences:
“O people! Dissensions like dark night troops are approaching.
O people! You cannot find any evidence against me because I rendered halal and haram whatever the Book of Allah rendered halal and haram only.
O Fatima, my daughter! O Safiyya, my aunt! Do deeds that will be accepted by Allah. Do not rely on me because I cannot save you from the torture of Allah.”
What the Prophet Tells Hazrat Fatima
Fatima was the only daughter of the Prophet that was alive. She was the only child of the Prophet that he could love.
Hazrat Fatimatu’z-Zahra was the child of the Prophet that resembled him the most in terms of high ethics, walking and sitting style among his children.
On the last day of his illness, the Messenger of Allah summoned Hazrat Fatima, her only daughter, who was a symbol of high ethics and grace.
When she came, he made her sit on his left side. He whispered something to her ear.
Hazrat Fatima became very sad and grievous; then, she started to shed tears.
Then, the Prophet whispered something else to her ear. This time, Fatima, who was crying, started to smile and became happy.
When Hazrat Aisha, who was there at that time, asked Hazrat Fatima about the reason, she said,
“First, he said that he was going to leave this world and me soon; therefore, I cried. Then, he said, ‘You are going to meet me before anybody else in my family.’ So, I became happy.”
Last Moments…
It was the 12th day of Rabiul-Awwal, Monday…
The sun was moving toward the west.
The blessed head of the Messenger of Allah was on the chest of Hazrat Aisha. He was having difficulty in breathing. His tongue was busy with mentioning the names of Allah. He repeated the same prayer: “Allahumma ar*Rafiq al-A’la (O Allah! Take me to the most sublime companion.)
” Even at this stage, he did not give up guiding his ummah; he said, “Treat the slaves you have well. Pay attention to salah (prayer) and keep performing prayers”
This grievous scene was wounding Hazrat Fatima’s feelings. She hugged the Messenger of Allah saying, “O, the agony that my father suffers!” Then, she started to cry.
The Prophet said, “Your father will not suffer any agony from now on.” Then, he said, “My daughter! Do not cry. Say, ‘Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun (To Allah we belong and to Him is our return)’ when I die.”
Gabriel and Azrael Come Together
The Messenger of Allah was living his last minutes in this ephemeral world.
Meanwhile Gabriel arrived with Azrael. He asked the Messenger of Allah about his health. Then, he said, “Azrael, the angel of death asks your permission to enter.”
When the Messenger of Allah gave permission, Azrael entered the room and sat in front of the Prophet.
He said, “O Messenger of Allah! Allah ordered me to obey your orders. If you want, I will take your soul; if not, I will leave it to you.”
The Messenger of Allah looked at Gabriel. Gabriel said, “O Messenger of Allah! Mala’ al-A’la (Highest Assembly) is waiting for you.”
Thereupon, the Seal of the Prophets said, “O Azrael! Come and fulfill your duty.”
The Prophet Meets his Lord
The Prophet’s head was on the chest of Hazrat Aisha. There was a bowl of water near him. He put his hands in the bowl and wiped his face with his wet hands. He said, “La ilahe illallah.
” Then, he removed his hands from his face. His eyes stared at the ceiling. He passed away by repeating the sentence “Allahumma! Ar-Rafiq al-A’la!”
It was the 11th year of the Migration the month of Rabiul-Awwal, 12, Monday / Ad 632, June, 8.
