So while I was making that edit I was talking with my partner, @princess-self-shipping, and I had a realization.

I was complaining that Mira and Isa have weird eyes. I was saying that "I could give them actual whites for their eyes but I'm lazy and don't wanna." Cy pointed out that they didn't with their color edits and while I was grumbling about weird cartoon eyes, they pointed out that it could be a Vaugardian main land trait.

Which got me thinking. We know fantasy genetics and fantasy ethnicities exist in this universe thanks to a certain bitch and her identity crisis. Odile says that some of her features are clearly Vaugardian, even if we only see the parts that make her Ka Buan.

But it means shared features might mean shared heritage. Isa and Mira both share the same eye type and bushy eyebrows.

Siffrin says they don't want to look at the king because he doesn't want to know what features are from his home...but I think I know a big one. I think I know one that we can compare with the only other bitch we have from the island.

Cat eyes. Both Loop and Siffrin have cat eyes. Yes I know about that deal but their eyes are different. Distinctly different. If they were the same it would give the game away maybe a little too early.

But they're still cat eyes. And cat eyes are not exclusive to those two. There are two other characters in this entire game that have cat shaped eyes.

One is Euphrasies. She already shares other traits with Siffrin, so many people already think she's a Northerner who moved to Dormont. It's not a far reach from there to say that cat eyes are a northern trait.

And the last? Someone else from the north of Vaugard. Someone else who doesn't quite look like Mira and Isa.

Someone else who has the same messy, slightly curly hair...the same cat eyes...the same expressions sometimes. Someone Siff seemed to get attached to really quickly...

Someone who's eyes sparkle with stars.

I think Euphrasie put Claude and Mirabelle together in a room on purpose. 1) because she wanted her two favorite people to know each other and be friends and 2) she knew that their personalities would CLASH and would lead to Change from the two of them in the long term.

Nauno may be illiterate, but he likes drawing pictures! Look! They drew one of Euphi! Euphi generally tries to keep her composure, seeing how she's generally the responsible one. Deep down, however, she gets super emotional whenever Fynn or Nauno do something nice for heart.

Also it's kinda covered by his fingers but Nauno did try writing Euphi's name. Key word being try. "Iufey" is close, but it's the thought that counts.

I did in fact write them down

N a shepherd is basically a farmer lol i just wanted to give them a cool sounding name

I have yet to decide on what crops they'd grow there but so far i decide on 2 animals living there who shepherds will probably be handling

Feel free to make up a meaning for the other halos or maybe even a whole new design

In fact make whatever lore u want about the cloud kingdom i welcome it

Wanted to draw the goobers all front facing also with open mouths (where applicable). I've drawn front facing Fynn many times before, nothing new there, still very round. Euphi I've drawn front facing once, but she was looking down and I screwed up some of the details. But Nauno I've actually never drawn front facing before! He looks pretty weird tbh I feel like I screwed something up but I could not tell you what.

Figured I'd also mention that the way I draw their eyes means that yes, the eyes technically slide from the side of their heads to the front. Oh well. You can explain it away with Euphi at least by just saying heart can move heart eyes like that. But for Fynn and Nauno that is purely a stylistic decision.

Also I decided to put their names on this pretty late on and it was kinda funny when I realized I'd have to make Euphi's name smaller cause heart ears are too big lol. I've never really thought about it but compared to the other two Euphi is fucking huge wow. Fynn is a Gray Wolf, which is meant to be the largest species of canine. So what IS Euphi? Either Fynn is really small for Gray Wolf standards or Euphi is some sort of Dire Wolf. But even then Dire Wolves were the same size as modern Gray Wolves so what? I've never considered what Euphi was before heart became a Protogen. But I sure am now!
