Abortion is Murder & Unbiblical
The Bible does not use the word abortion. How could it? The term itself as a procedure wasn't invented yet! However, the Bible does cover:
Humanity's inherent value and rights as (uniquely among creation) made in the image of God
Murder
Child/infant murder as something abhorrent to God
Life's beginnings, indirectly (although that also has biological support)
Legal ramifications of killing a child in the womb
How God sees and interacts with children in the womb
How we as His followers are meant to treat children
What He expects us to do for the defenseless and vulnerable (i.e., the most defenseless and vulnerable human imaginable is the one in the womb)
And how the question of following Him and His Word is what makes or breaks the difference between a Christian and someone who claims the name but is tragically unsaved  Below are some verses and some additional explication (partial credit: @glowsticks-and-jesus)
Proverbs 31:8
Luke 1:44
2nd Kings 17:17
Jeremiah 19:5
Genesis 9:6
Exodus 21:22-25
Matthew 7:20 - 23
John 15:14
1st John 1:5-10, 2:3-6
Exodus 20:13
Mark 10:13-15 Leviticus 20:3-5 (https://biblehub.com/hebrew/mizzaro_2233.htm)
Matthew 18:10, 14
Psalm 22:10
Jacob & Esau, John the Baptist, Samson, etc.
Judges 16:17  Glowsticks-and-Jesus Collection:
"Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.'"Jeremiah 1:4-5
"The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name."Isaiah 49:1
John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary greeted her cousin (Luke 1:39-45), an example that babies in utero are responsive human beings already aware of the outside world.
The righteous Hebrew midwives at the time of Moses pleased God by saving babies deemed unworthy of life by the authorities of their day (Ex. 1:15-21).
As an additional note -- these references are included above, but worth a second mention -- it's plain that child sacrifice - child murder - is something that God abhors and explicitly does not command. I'd look here (https://biblehub.com/jeremiah/19-5.htm) and here (https://biblehub.com/2_kings/17-17.htm) and check out the cross-references as well. Likewise, there is direct support for laws against murder and the protection of the unborn (up to capital punishment) in the Bible (Genesis 9:6; Exodus 21:22-25  -- an additional reference here included about the common misunderstanding of the latter verses: https://www.str.org/w/what-exodus-21-22-says-about-abortion).
In summary -- it's possible (although, I believe, it does deprive its proponents of a foundational basis for the value of life) to be both secular and anti-abortion. But it is not possible for a Christian who truly understands their faith, their God, and His Word to be pro-abortion.

People need to realize that 99% of Trump voters, didn't vote against Kamala because she's a "black" woman. Rather I'd be ecstatic if a woc was put into office. I voted for Trump because his beliefs and proposed policies, as well as what he did in his previous term, align with my PERSONAL beliefs as well as what I hope for America. Race and Gender has nothing to do with the votes, and people need to start waking up and realizing that!!!

Anon wjo told you you should care more about people-
You just reblogged a post about women who ae panicking about pregnancies and its complications becoming deadlier. Its not even an hypothetical, with conservatives restricting laws about abortion more women are dying from complications because they can only abort once the danger is too great with many of them dying. Children are also being born into extremely poor or abusive families because of it
Hi!
(post in question)
I'd love to see some statistics on this if you have any.
I'm struggling to understand this considering there isn't a national abortion ban, nor has it been suggested there will be, and as far as I'm aware the concerns for women's health is related to that, rather than state-specific abortion bans (especially in states where the woman isn't criminalised for the abortion, and it's also not criminalized to go to another state at gain one).
Also, in addition to your point about children being born poor or into abusive households. I'm struggling to see how abortions would reduce the number of children born in abusive households, or why the solution to poor pregnant women being unable to afford to look after their children would be to terminate their pregnancy rather than support them in being mothers?

Abortion is a very basic definition that y'all don't seem to get. "the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus" miscarriages are one form of abortion they're literally called spontaneous abortion. The typical first step for ectopic pregnancy treatment is an abortion using methotrexate. Abortion isn't some super special baby murder technique, its anything done to terminate the pregnancy that doesn't end in happy baby.

Evangelicals who support abortion? Obvious red flag on a planted operator.
The Deep State has a losing ticket. Their shady dealings are only going to get more devious (and obvious).

I'm all for life from conception to natural death. I'm all for life and against abortion, no matter what the circumstances. Nothing explains or justifies the murder of abortion.
I say this as a woman and a Catholic.

Dropcards
You don't need to be a theologian
You don't need the patience to publicly debate
You don't need to spend every weekend in the park with a sign
You just have to do something
Tumblr media
Leave at least one anywhere you go
leave them in your cart, leave them in the restroom, put them over the keypad at the gas pump
I put them in cases of beer. What better to spark a conversation about abortion of all things than a few cold ones? I left one on top of the Country Crock today at Publix.

An Ode to Simplicity :D
I have rarely, if ever, had trouble hitting a minimum word count. I like to explain things. I like to look at things in depth and from different angles. But what I love is the simple distilled truth of something. There is elegance in brevity. (Which I don't often attain to, as you can see. :D) There is also, usually, a lot less room for deception. This is one reason I favor the pro-life position. When I see pro-abortion arguments, I typically see three pages of mental and verbal gymnastics that have to speedrun through logical fallacies and into advocating ableism, discrimination, eugenics, and more on their hasty way to explain how it's actually "compassionate" and "moral" and "forward-thinking" to murder babies. Oh, sure, there are a few tired, pseudo-pithy mottos that can be tried: "the freedom/right to choose!" and "equal rights!" and "my body, my choice!" But I or anyone can drive a truck through the plot holes in those slogans with very little effort. - For example, "Freedom/right to choose!" becomes a lot less nice-sounding when you ask, "Freedom/right to choose...what?" Because it turns out that most sane people actually have some strong opinions about giving someone else the freedom and the right to choose to murder people. - "Equal rights! Human rights!" Great! So what about the rights of the human in the womb? Ask this, and you'll watch the pro-abortion crowd either fall over themselves to deny science or to reveal that they actually don't believe in equal rights for all humans -- they instead believe in equal rights for some humans and not others, based on physical and arbitrary characteristics like size, degree of development, and location. Which is what we call "inequality" and "discrimination". - "My body, my choice!" Sure! Except it's not your body that's getting torn apart by forceps or starved of nutrients, obviously, so it's not really your choice -- you're just taking it away from the baby. Not to mention that EVERY civilized society restricts the lesser right of autonomy in the event where it infringes upon another's primary right to life. (Otherwise, have fun explaining to people why you believe there shouldn't be any laws against assault, murder, rape, drinking and driving, etc.) - BONUS: "YOU'RE KILLING WOMEN!" Um, no -- you are. Where do you think women come from? Rocks? And feel free to look it up -- there is a difference between triage, tragedy, and murder. And in no medical case is an abortion the "treatment" necessary to save the mother's life -- oftentimes, it can actually put her in even more danger. Meanwhile, while the proponents of abortion have to either write essays and essays futilely attempting to claim otherwise to maintain the moral high ground OR abandon it altogether and lean into the whole infanticide-worshipping cult thing, me and any other pro-lifer can state our position as a whole pretty simply without having to do any of those things. It goes like this: "Hi! It's wrong to murder babies. Please stop doing it."
*Mic drop* That's it. That's literally it. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. :D

The whole "let's shave our heads and abstain from sex to show the men what they did!" Movement from women on the left is actually a great idea. Less sex = less pregnancies = less unnecessary abortions = more lives being saved. It also shows who saw abortion as birth control. Keep it up ladies!
EDIT
I just want to say that I've realized how hurtful the shaved heads aspect of this movement can be, especially to women who don't have control over their hair. This movement is spreading the lie that you need hair to be beautiful, which isn't true in anyway shape or form! So any woman or young girl out there who is seeing this movement and believing this lie, just know you are beautiful no matter what <3

I’m so sick of the abortion debate honestly. There’s no more accountability for murderers—I mean “mothers.”
This has got to be the dumbest generation ever. Era. Whatever you wanna call it. In this essay I will— jk. But am I? I might turn this into one if I really feel like it.
“My body, my choice.” Argument is complete garbage. Because the whole argument crumbles to shreds as soon as they fall into the outcome of bringing another body into the equation.
I think they forget to realize that human rights apply also to human fetuses that grow inside women. And we have science to thank for reminding us that human life begins upon conception.
So they can deny alllll they want, saying “it’s not a baby, it’s a fetus” “it’s a clump of cells” “it doesn’t have consciousness” “it’s not developed enough so therefore it doesn’t hurt the fetus”
Alllll these points are pure BS when the facts point to a fetus being alive and a LIFE worthy of finishing its development. And this means we have to advocate for these ones who can’t speak or choose life for themselves.
Human rights don’t stop at the mother who holds the baby in her womb. Human rights are spread across all sectors and are meant to be EQUAL, even among fetuses that have just been conceived.
Because every fetus is human DNA that eventually grows into a uniquely designed person. So no, the mothers choice is not more important than that baby’s choice. They are both equal.
And before you say “but the mother is the one who has to live with the consequences, while the baby isn’t even born yet.” Does that mean the baby’s human rights don’t apply until birth?
Humans rights can’t vary upon the location of the human (womb or birthed), the stage of development of the human (infant or adult), or the quality of life they have (able vs disabled) or else I’m afraid we’d be going down a slippery slope by starting this rhetoric.
The baby didn’t ask to be created. This was the result/outcome of a choice made by its mother and biological father. Babies shouldn’t have to suffer the consequences of their mothers/fathers terrible decision making process.
If we really want to get into the “my body, my choice,” argument, let’s start here: the mom gets to choose 1) if she is having sex or not (in most cases), 2) who she is having sex with, no?
[obviously I’m not referring to rape/incest cases, in which I would leave these cases in a completely separate circumstance, but argue that I still don’t think abortion is the right option.]
So on that note, why is it all of a sudden a phenomenon for pro-choice individuals to drop all accountability on mothers and give them a free pass to murder if they absolutely do have a choice?
A mothers third option, whether to keep the baby or not, is essentially deciding whether she’s going to be a murderer, violate a baby’s human right, and lose her motherhood, or keep the child.
So in conclusion, my body my choice is a fair argument, so long as you actually apply that to the baby as well. Because if a mother can’t advocate for her own baby, then who will?
In conclusion, just think about what you’re really choosing when you decide to sacrifice your baby because of an irrational decision you made. Abortions really are murder.

I like to think I do listen and have empathy - can I ask what makes you think I don't?
Also, how is someone's life being threatened by my views?

just to be clear this blog is straight up pro abortion. Honestly fuck the pro-choice rhetoric I always see “keep abortion legal bc sometimes its medically necessary!” I mean yeah of course but that doesn’t sound like much of a choice to me.
Keep abortion legal simply because it needs to be a choice, whether it’s necessary or not. People need to be allowed to do what they want with their own bodies, even outside of a life or death situation. The reasons for the procedure are really nobody’s fucking business except the patient’s.
In conclusion: yayy abortion woohoo yay!🥳

That baby has a heart beat inside the womb. Light actually flashes when sperm enters the egg. At that moment, at that flash, those single-celled organisms become multi-cellular and a baby is created.
Fetus = baby
Fetus = progeny = offspring = baby
If a single called virus is life on mars, why isn’t a multi-celled organism demonstratively growing (heart beat, growth, breathing, eating) ruled life on earth by all? Because once you label the baby alive, the DNC and its donors lose the ability to kill it and make money off it.
