Life before the Apocalypse

~ Lyn had a rough childhood, her birthfather was shit and abusive to both her and her mother. Eventually, Laurel's mom Lily left her father when her little sister was born and then married her step-father Aaron.

~ Both Lyn's parents, Lily and Aaron were in the military. Aaron was in the army, and Lily was a trauma doctor in the military. This is where Laurel got her inspiration to want to be a trauma doctor herself.

~ During Lyn's adolescent years, she was very high-strung and easily irritated. She was struggling with the trauma from her birth father. Her mother put her in therapy which did help, although Aaron had a different approach and knew she needed an outlet for all her feelings so he got her into some combat classes and that seemed to work pretty well and also gave her defensive and offensive combat skills.

~ Laurel did pretty well in school when she applied herself, she has a knack for remembering things, usually small and obscure facts that she reads.

~ She loves the beach, having gone camping there every summer when she was a kid, although doesn't like actually going into the ocean past a certain point.

~ Lyn had a little sister named Aria. She is three years younger than her. They got along, although they were both rather different

People forget celebrities are still strangers. We think we know them because they're literally in our house on the TV and they have a certain image they project to the world. But we don't know them behind closed doors, and celebrity makes them able to evade consequences when they commit a crime and still maintain that saintly image to the public. So be just as cautious when around a celebrity as you would around any stranger and watch your drinks even non-alcoholic ones. Don't just drink something someone hands you. Hide yo kids.
