You don't like the way he looks at you. He's going for something like sympathetic understanding, you think, a honeyed reassurance he knows what you've gone through, he gets it--

He knows nothing.

He wasn't there.

He didn't see you choking on your own agony, trembling hands pressed tight to your chest and trying not to think about the exposed bone you can feel beneath your fingertips. He didn't see you finally lose the strength to hold yourself up, vision blurred, clothes and skin soaked in blood as the pool around you only grew wider. He didn't see you fighting to hold onto consciousness even if it meant enduring the unbearable, terrified that if you let yourself rest, you'd never wake back up.

He didn't see the aftermath. He didn't see the tears, the mental anguish, the desperate need to know why you weren't considered important enough for the police to help. He didn't see you take to the skies, finding a lonely cliff edge to stand and shout away your pain, your frustration, your fury.

Why aren't you here? Why won't you help us?!

ㅤㅤsure, compared to humans Mewtwo was fairly large, and even for parallel versions of himself ( he doesn't even want to think about that ) , but there were plenty of Pokémon that were far more massive— a fact he found mildly displeasing, but it wasn't super important. he wonders what the Rotom's frame of reference is for his size. if he was being compared to Mew or Rotom itself, then ... yeah. he was several times their size.

He's a busy man, but, never too busy to play video games. Besides his mobile gaming habit, Proton has a seriously large library of games on his Switch system. Splatoon, of course, was a necessity.
