Let's see if I can get through an episode or two of SVSSS before D&D tonight
#isa babble#it's an mxtx story and i've enjoyed the other two#i guess my main issue w the show adaption is the animation style#that sort of 3d rendering is not something i've been a huge fan of ig?#probably bc my experience w styles even remotely similar to it have been western kids shows#which uhhhh this is not lol#wondering if i'll have a better time reading the novel#esp since i saw at least one reddit comment praising their translation's extensive footnotes regarding chinese internet culture#and explaining a lot of the in-jokes references and the like#aaaaaaand yeah i can't get through the first episode of the show#which meh i kinda figured#novel hunting time#i saw there was a manhua that got like 3 chapters in & cancelled bc of Reasons#which. sad. since i really enjoyed the manhua adaptions of tgcf & mds that i could get my hands on
