Love the idea of scar grounding his adult son, also. Like Tubbo has to make a new staff, sure, but also they litterally just had that whole convo about how he's an adult and can make his own decisions and then 'YOURE GROUNDED' yeah good luck w that scar.

Fae are clearly not like SMALL children for very long [if their lives are hundreds [thousands?] of years, they seem to only look like 'kids' for the regular first 20] I wonder if the Fae King cares at all that he missed the tiny portion of Tubbo's life where he's small since he clearly *cares* about Tubbo ahhhhHHHHHH I love the Fae King.

AND THEN THE NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT *Grabs him and kisses him* MUMBO THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID NO TO DO I DONT THINK YOU'RE ALLOWED TO BREAK YOUR OWN RULE - i will however allow it because THEY ARE KISSING. WE'RE 145K IN AND THEY ARE FINALLY KISSING THE ELF AH. Also Mumbo and Scar being the first two to kiss feels SO important because here is this Vampire Scare has crushed on for years, who has declared Grian his mate, who is the Lord of the Coven Scar is a part of whether or not he recognizes it. And Mumbo kissed him first. And it was POSSESSIVE. *HIS*. Like that feels HUGE for their relationship.

And Grian's kiss being softer feels like its huge too - its a reflection of theres. How it started by Grian forcing his hand to be his friend but then they became real friends - so real that he said Scar was his best friend to the FAE KING. So real that Scar followed Mumbo into a coven to save Grian, that Scar went back to the FAE REALM to SAVE! GRIAN! Their relationship can really be summed up by that last line. He went into the Fae Realm - for grian. No one in this relationship is ever allowed to doubt themselves ever again.

Also poor Tubbo is watching his dad kiss people. How horrifying for him, this is his grounding lmao.

AND SCAR IS SO OBLIVIOUS JESUS CHRIST HOW DID HE TEACH HIMSELF MAGIC BC IM WONDERING IF THEIR ARE BRAINCELLS UP THERE. But also this now raises the stakes 👀 mumbo's old coven is gonna come for boatem eventually. They don't have the pre-warning of scar's work anymore. Mumbo has two mates now, and I bet money that Grian's godling blood has gotten around. Scar's Fae Blood. The fact that Scar has another weakness????

I keep thinking about the whole 'A coven is only as strong as its lord' clearly Mumbo's coven is *strong*. And its probably good that they have connections like the fae king, or cleo. But also, the other thing that won't leave my mind? The Fae King called Grian a godling directly to Scar. And it wasn't in the Fae Language, which means Mumbo heard it too. And they might not have realized yet because there was a lot going on. But one of them is going to have to. I have a feeling you're gonna force their hand soon 👀👀👀

I love him too <3 He's an ass but he had good intentions. TERRIBLE execution and even worse communication skills with his family (seriously, mans couldn't take three seconds to explain to the child he had around him more than any other child??) and I do plan to have at LEAST one story about a Fae festival <3

LOL IT WAS A VERY BAD FAIRY RING BUT HE DID IT. Destroyed his staff in the process and nearly gave his dad an aneurysm but he did it and in the most showy way he possibly could have <3 It was so important to me that Tubbo (and not Mumbo and Grian) would be the reason the Fae King changes his mind, cuz not only is it a moment where he realizes and accepts that Scar isn't that child he watched playing in the Palace garden anymore but is in fact an adult, it's also an almost painful parallel to his relationship with Scar, because the King raised Scar himself basically- but where the King loved Scar he was cold and distant and never told him anything, whereas Scar and Tubbo have a very warm and openly loving relationship. The King told Scar to stay without telling him why and Scar ran away, and Scar told Tubbo to go/stay away to protect him and Tubbo came to help anyway <3
