“I don’t like these mirrors being here,” you say as your head bangs against the headboard. Lucky for you that you don’t feel pain these days. Guess that’s one of the very few positives. You look to your left, right and then above, mirrors everywhere. From floor to the ceiling. You wouldn’t mind small mirrors as much but this is disconcerting and not sexy at all when all you can see is Astarion fucking into nothing, his cock suspended mid-air, and he’s barely paying attention. You did not sign up for this shit. 

He’s done within couple of minutes while you are laying there unsatisfied and annoyed.

“My dark consort,” he drawls. “Don’t fret, we will ask Mephistopheles for another Rite of Profane ascension soon.” 

Yeah, you’ve heard this already.

“How soon?” You ask again, slowly getting out of bed. 

“In due course, my sweet inpatient treasure,” he assures you like he’s done countless times ever since you first brought it up. You pout as he plants himself in front of the reflective surface and starts mumbling how exquisite he looks. It’s obviously true but enough is enough. You were indulging him for first couple of months, now he should be giving you what you want. 

You roll your eyes as he starts tracing his reflection with his fingers, staring lovingly. Back in the day you were the object of such affections. He pays you no heed as you leave the room. Bastard.

“Mistress, Mistress!” You hear a worried call from one of your servants, running towards you. 

“What’s going on?”

“It’s the master,” servant says and imitates a bird flopping his wings. 

“Gods below,” you huff exasperatedly. “Again? It’s only nine in the morning!”

The servant shrugs and leads you to the main banquet hall. Another stupid habit Astarion picked up over the past few months - drinking. Searching around, you find him splattered on the ground under the window in his bat form, letting out chirpy distressed noises. Or so you think they are sounds of distress. “Haven’t I told you not to transform when you drink?!” You snarl as you scoop him up like a wet dishrag. The servant hands you a silky pillow for Astarion to lie on till he sobers up.

The fucking bat is doing your head in. No, you definitely did not sign up for this.

“Do you really need to be looking at yourself while you eat?” A groan escapes your lips as you watch Astarion engorging himself with a piece of rothé steak. Yes, he had requested mirrors to be installed even in the dining room. The only place that’s free of mirrors is the toilet because he doesn’t want to see anything as he’s taking a dump. It’s a very traumatic experience and he’s trying to keep it a secret that he’s wearing diapers under his pants right now as a precaution in case a leak happens. 

“Why yes, of course, darling. I’m not going to squander this opportunity when I can do whatever I want, now that all he had is mine.”

“Ours,” you correct him.

“That’s what I said, didn’t I?” 

You sigh inwardly. “Of course you did.”

You wake up to screams of absolute horror. Have someone attacked us? No, you realise, it’s just Astarion having a fit.

“My dark consort!” 

“Yes, dear?”

“I’ve had another bowel movement!”

You facepalm yourself so hard that you give yourself a minor whiplash. Gods below. “Darling, you do realise that bowel movements are normal for living beings?”

“It is absolutely not normal, I don’t care what you say! This is beneath me!” 

He storms out of the bathroom and approaches his writing desk. “What are you doing? Come back to bed.”

“I’m filing a complaint,” he grunts. 

The next day you read what he’d written.

I have objections against the contract and I demand it is revised. 

Bowel movements were not mentioned and therefore it is within my right to demand a compensation.

Astarion talking about his plans for domination and then executing them, only to be thwarted by Duke Wyll.

You wonder what your life would’ve been like if you weren’t so dumb. Is it possible to rewind time somehow? Pondering whether it is a good idea or not, you visit a local diviner. If not living the alternate future, you want to see how it would be. 

The diviner’s eyes take on a milky colour as she starts to process the different pasts, futures, and presents. 

“My dear,” she says in a hoarse voice. “I see the alternate path, clear as day. The man you love would be looking at you instead of into a mirror. The pleasures in the bedroom…oh my, such insatiable passion. I see travelling, relic hunting, murdering bad folk for money. What a wonderful life! But you poor thing are stuck with a pathetic man-child.”  

Leaving the diviner you decide to take the matter into your own hands and write to Mephistopheles. However, it will not be about Rite of Profane ascension.

I also sent you an apology privately for how long it'd taken me to get to this. Largely because it's just a depressing thing to talk about. Danneel is doing classic abuser techniques here--putting him down; humiliating him in front of others (when at cons like Wales Comic Con) or having him repeating negative stories at cons himself; continuously finding fault with him; making him feel like the foolish one; disregarding his thoughts and/or emotions; and using sarcasm to cause harm.

Imagine having your own spouse, your partner of what... 17 years?... saying "You'll do" when they're stanning other, wealthier actors and stars. Like, wow. Consolation prize? Thanks? As though she didn't force his hand into proposing to him. Mind, Jensen even said she laid down an ultimatum--propose or she walked. That's love, for sure!

Imagine landing no less than three shows with Amazon and a regular guest starring appearance on a major broadcaster... and still being told "Not impressed". God. That's painful.

He may likely be so busy that despite what some AAs are saying ("It's only 1.5 hour flight to home!"), he might not even fly back home all that much. Why would he? For his kids? Absolutely. For his so-called loving wife? Not so much.

Have you noticed in that clip, Jared had to stop Jensen from rambling? Because he was listening to his friend and brother in all but blood put himself down repeatedly, hearing how his friend's wife is being emotionally abusive... in public, no less. I can't even imagine how Jared feels about this.

Mind, Jared knew Danneel before Jensen did (or so Danneel claimed). Ever notice how they barely ever hang out in the past? If all four of them--Jared, Gen, Jensen and Danneel--did hang out, Jared was rarely spotted with her. He knew what kind of person she was and wanted nothing to do with her.

Even Gen barely engaged with Danneel. Oh, Gen was friendly and warm in public--I'm reminded of that one live video where Gen praised Danneel's acting as Sister Jo/Anael on Sueprnatural and the look Danneel gave her... Danneel knew Gen didn't mean it.

I know a lot of anti Jensens won't agree with me here, and that's all fine. We're allowed different opinions. Even those who are "Jensen critical" would disagree as well. Also fine. What I'm about to say next is my own personal opinion, speculation, and observation.

As I've mentioned before, I'm a survivor of abuse. From childhood onward, I've endured a variety. Emotional neglect, physical abuse, even sexual abuse as a child. That wrecks people. Because we're experiencing abuse from the hands of people who should love us. So if our own parents, siblings, relatives, whatever, are hurting us... we start to think: "Did I do something to deserve this mistreatment? Am I such a horrible person?"

And if that isn't corrected--and too often childhood survivors are overlooked and ignored, not able to get the help they desperately need, they often develop and grow into insecure adults with low self-esteem and low self-value.

One very common refrain will ring in their minds: "I am unworthy and undeserving of love."

This is where I feel Jensen's issues stem from. He was exploited by his parents for their gain and profit. Modeling, acting, often told by his father he's being punished out of love (thus creating a negative association of what love really is), and likely surrounded by a lot of people who use him for their gain and profit.

I can't speculate on the relationship between his parents, but what little I've heard and seen of Alan Ackles, it doesn't sound like a healthy example either.

If you don't know what a healthy relationship looks like, or experience it yourself... one struggles a lot. It's how generational trauma is created. My paternal grandfather... was abusive. Emotional and... otherwise (there's a massive skeleton in that closet that left me floored when I discovered it). My own father continued it. I'm determined to break it and I think I've largely succeeded. No, I didn't have a healthy relationship, but I grew strong enough to know what I had wasn't it.

I'd rather be single than in an unhappy relationship. Unfortunately, for so many survivors and victims, it's never easy. Because the voices in their head parroting the fears back to them lie.

It's sadly easier to say "Oh. That person made that choice! It's their own damned fault they're unhappy!" Or "They're the ones who stay!" It's easier to judge than it is to admit that it's not a cut-and-dry situation. That breaking the emotional abuse cycle, that breaking free from abuse in general, is never, ever easy.

I speak from experience. I lost quite a few friends because they actually thought I wanted to stay, or that I was being unreasonable in my fear. Not once did they bother to reach out and try to understand from my end.

"Oh just leave!"

No... it's never easy to "just leave".

Jensen's trapped in a very vicious cycle right now. He finds it easier to put himself down and think he deserves it, than to admit that he's in a situation that he could leave. It's scary to leave. It's the unknown. It's easier, in so many ways, to live with the pain we know than the pain we don't.

Danneel knows it, feeds on it, uses it.

So my problem with AA stans claiming to be "dark romance enjoyers" is that it's uuh. Incorrect.

I'm a fantasy romance writer and I have been in the same circles as dark romance enjoyers and writers. Like full on omegaverse non-con type shit. I don't like it myself and think it's wack, but the reasoning of the people who enjoy it is that they have lingering shame around wanting sex, around purity culture, potentially homophobia with men who enjoy omegaverse stuff, so a bigstrong alpha man who forces them to enjoy something they secretly want is a sexual fantasy to them. They can hold onto that "purity" and "innocence" and not have any shame around wanting sex, because technically someone else is forcing it on them. They can explore that safely within fiction, and don't necessarily want that to happen to them IRL, unless it's within kink scenes etc. And yeah I don't get it, but it is something people do and own doing, and I can't stop them so as long as they're doing it over there, it's none of my business.

But AA fans claim to love the "dark romance" of it, but then turn around and say that no!! He's NOT abusive!! He's NOT going to assault or mind-control Tav, it's NOT an unhealthy relationship, they're EQUALS and he ADORES them and won't disrespect them!! Just look at the backlash to the "kneel" kiss, people who got so mad that Tav looks distraught.

But look at what BW said in the infamous Discord screenshot: it's fine to enjoy the fantasy, but it's not healthy in-universe. The game itself says "maybe you enjoy degrading yourself."

But AA stans looked at that and went "UM NO!!! IT IS HEALTHY!! I'M BEING SHAMED!!! >:(" and "OH POOR BABY THINKS HE'S BELOW US AND THAT'S WHY HE THINKS WE'RE DEGRADING OUTSELVES!!"

And that's where my problem stems from.

An actual dark romance enjoyer would be like "ough yes Daddy Astarion brainwash me and make me your brainless little fuckdolll sex slave and make me take your cummies every day." Not "YAAS BABE YOU AND ME ARE EQUALS AND PARTNERS IN CRIME UWU UWU UWU (ignores all the red flags and pretends they don't exist)!!!"

So like. You claim you enjoy dark romance, but you're constantly, desperately trying to erase the actual, in-game, canon darkness of it. Any hint of it you try to excuse away, or blame on the writers, or say is OOC and wrong.

You whine and complain about "fixers" and "moralizers" and "fandom police," but you yourself are policing the very romance you claim to enjoy by sanitizing it and making it into something more palatable instead of accepting how dark it actually is.

I've yet to see any AA stan have a Tav who's like a brainwashed sex slave, or in an abusive relationship with AA. All of them are just girlbosses who are co-rulers, which leads me to believe you don't enjoy "dark romance," but privilege. That's the thing that gets you off, privilege and power, particularly a priveleged and powerful man putting you on a pedestal and giving you whatever you want, taking care of you, letting you get away with bad things because he has the power to make all your issues go away. (Is this why so many AA stans are also Russian ... who said that)

And that's FINE. But just admit that? Admit that Astarion's story isn't what draws you to him, that you just enjoy the idea of a beautiful man who has power sharing it with you, and AA just happens to have those surface-level traits if you don't engage with or misinterpret the source material. Hell, I'm a villainmancer myself, who's writing a villain origin story for shits and giggles where a girl becomes a war criminal with the loving help of her edgelord goblin king.

But y'all don't do that. And that's the problemo, lads. You made up a story in your head that isn't in the game, you idolize that story, and get mad when people go "Wait, that's not in the game???"

Jared is a character actor. People like to say character actors are "better actors" than personality actors, however there is a reason why character actors are usually not leads in movies or tv shows because most people actually prefer personality actors, which Jensen is good at. Jared is a character actor trapped in a leading man role.

Jared's first on the call sheet isn't a saving grace, it's facts, and it gets brought up more by Ackles Army than Jared fans. Why? Butthurts, Anon, all butthurts. You got to read this treasure. In the early days of SPN, AAs tried to downplayed first billings ....

Jared fans stay in their lane when they're on a bash bender and don’t actively tag actors and their fans their hate. I've had the exact same experience with Jared stans, you cannot discuss anything with them in a reasonable manner, because even if you are polite and back your arguments with facts, 99.9% of the time they will call you a heller or an AA and completely dismiss you or ridicule you for having a different opinion or view of things than them.

So yeah, exactly like hellers, no dissenting views allowed. It's very cult-like. And the irony of that is that they constantly refer to AAs as a cult, without seeing how cult-like they themselves are (in my personal experience much more so than any so-called "AAs" I've come across.)

Yeah, putting aside the vitriol and insults and focusing just on the disagreement aspect? it's not that we don't agree, I don't think I've met anyone in this fandom I completely agree on everything with. When they can't use that anymore, it truly is amazing how quickly they shut up. So I guess I'll start with calling names. I have to say I am really sad to see how you too diss someone as an AA or an Ackles worshipper if they have some different opinion.

I have to say I'm really sad you didn't check that person's profile or history, the comments they usually make. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, still, the way they were trying to accuse everyone and twist things negatively was exactly like an AA does which was my point. Behaving like Jensen's flying monkeys. They are free to be as AA or whatethey they want but that person could have expressed their point just like everyone else with differing opinions that I did post, in a clear, respectful way. Instead they chose to attack everyone by following a supposed other Anon's example. I don't have to tollerate rudeness and it's extremely dangerous what these people are doing, always trying to start huge dramas over conversations that don't even interest them. Telling me I "diss" others with differing opinions couldn't be farther from the truth. It must be confirmation bias, because plenty of opposing opinion have been posted on this blog, most from people full on harassing me and forgive me but I am going to be painfully blunt: it's abusive that you expect me to sit there and take anything anyone throws at me without responding with boundaries and clarity. That "some different opinion" was full of vitriol, a toxic emotional rant disseminating limiting paradigms and making negative assumptions about post that did not contain the content she claimed, I am saddened you can't recognize that.

I've stated several times on this blog, I don't care what anyone ships or stans, what I care about is humanity. We can be in harmony even being very different but that requires mutual respect and healthy boundaries.

And contrary to your belief, it seems, I don't have to tollerate abuse in any way, shape or form just because my opinions are different than what someone else expects. There are plenty of people I've discussed with that disagreed with me and yet never resorted to spreading lies and accusations to start drama like that vally person did. In fact, some of my followers are completely different from me and may even hate me liking Jensen yet they are pure joy to interact with and always respectful. So it's a matter of choice, those who want to live in harmony do so without trying to limit others.

And again, if anything on my blog is not for you, feel free to unfollow, it's up to you to curate your online experience and I absolutely support that, I'm not for everyone just like not everyone is for me. I don't see why anyone should ever tollerate or expose themselves to content they dislike, it's unhealthy and stressful so I appreciate those who recognize that. Should also add that I'm human so sometimes, just like everyone else, I may make mistakes or not be on brand and that's perfectly okay, I get to grow and learn and I'm grateful for that.

It's hard to tell tone from written messages so I apologize for being brutally honest, I still reinforce what I said, no one should accept toxic behaviors because we all have the ability to interact without engaging in them.

Also, do you really mean to tell me those people don't over worship Jensen? Because that's also untrue. Balanced people don't go around starting fandom fights over their favorite because, for one, they recognize the value of differing opinions and secondly, they aren't over invested in said celebrity. What's wrong with helping people become aware they are overinvested? Or would you rather they waste their lives on worshipping Jensen and attacking everyone on their path while foregoing their personal dreams and goals? That's the saddest part of all, that people get caught up in fandom drama and wars and neglect themselves and their life over a celebrity obsession. In the process, they also destroy many others which is why I discourage anyone who exhibits that kind of behavior. There are much bigger issues in life than fandom drama so it really helps to get some perspective.

Also, I sometimes get accused of being an AA too but you don't see me going to other blogs to harass them or their posts over Jensen and then insist on how I am not one in the process. 🤣

I'm gaining followers again and I just wanna make it clear that I am an Ascendant Astarion hater.

And by that I mean I hate when AA stans try to paint it as the "good" ending or say that Spawn Astarion is weak and pathetic and just pretending to be happy while AA is clearly the "true" Astarion and he's happier that way.

You can headcanon whatever you like but arguing that AA is actually the good ending tells me you're wilfully ignorant and unable to understand even the basic story concepts presented by Larian and I have nothing to gain from engaging with you. This isn't even a moral argument, I don't care what people do in the games they buy, I just think you're dumb and make other Astarion enjoyers look dumb by association.

People who enjoy AA for the horny reasons and acknowledge it's his bad end are whatever, I don't get you but I don't get most fetishes and kinks, so I have no beef with you. People who enjoy it for angst and character exploration reasons are also cool with me.

Genuinely what is happening here. Full-grown adults are saying they don't want to experience art if the writer/artist had a theme/message in mind and wants them to think about what they're engaging with. Because to them, they think it's insulting that they would have to think about or consider their choices and feelings. They think they'll be "judged" by the writer if they pick the wrong thing, and that upsets them.

Bro. You're in your mind palace. You can do and think whatever you want in there. Welch isn't going to mug you just because you picked the bad ending. And yeah they wrote it as the bad ending and intended it to be bad, but if you like it, why do you care what they think about it? Aren't you a so-called adult? Who can think for themself? Why are you then so offended that the author intended for their writing to be interpreted differently?

I think I finally know the reason behind this post of mine. AA stans think they know better than the authors, plain and simple. They both believe that the authors are idiots for daring to have a message in mind, that they're wrong and moralistic, but also that they're actively hurting AA stans by "judging" them for making the "wrong" choice, which inadvertently puts the authors and their intentions on a pedestal, which AA stans are then mad that they've put the authors on.

It's like they can't de-couple the writers from authority of the interpretation, so they resort to just saying they're meanie poopyhead moralists who don't "respect" AA fans. Like they're enemies that need to be defeated or proven wrong, and not just people whose opinions on art can be discarded if so desired.

Man. This is fascinating. Unironically what is happening in them there brains. The cognitive dissonance must be off the charts. I'm having a hard time mapping it all out.

I saw a quote yesterday or this morning and I wish I could find it so I could send it to you but it was something along the lines of: "ask someone what it would take to change their mind and if they can't answer then stop arguing with them". And I feel like this applies to our little Jensen stan friend today. They clearly don't want to listen to what is being said, they want to change out minds. If they did they would realize the blatant dichotomy between the anti-Jensen's and the anti-Jared's. One group stays on their own blogs, within their own groups, tags appropriately (if you're seeing their stuff you're looking for it) and they may say some harsh stuff about him but they never tag him etc. The other goes on vile sprees tagging him in their vitriol and making death threats, threats of violence, just some of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. If this person thinks that saying someone has a flat butt, calling them a "piece of shit", saying they don't like his acting or calling him "Jenson ankles" or "johnson" are even remotely the same as threats that have caused actual legitimate increased security for Jared.. there is nothing we can say that will sway them. They are apparently bored and think they can send a few asks (using pretty much only their limited opinions and ignoring 95% of what goes against their arguments) and we'll "see the error of our ways". I gave them the benefit of the doubt at first that maybe they were just being naïve and maybe didn't venture into fandom too deep, but their follow up asks have proven that wrong.

People can love Jensen as much as they want it's the falseness, aggression, Jared hate, and other unbalanced views AAs have that get to those who like to engage their brains. Are you an AA?

Like I wrote yesterday, I don't belong to any particular group. I'm just a simple admirer of Jensen and Jared and I steer clear of fanaticism and stanning. I love interacting with fans of the show who have are able to accept different perspectives and like to engage in conversations about the show or actors but always with respect of each other's boundaries as well as respect for the actors and their boundaries. I don't hate any particular group or anything like that because I know it's just diverse beliefs but I may step in and comment when I see people harassing the actors, bullying etc. because that reflects poorly on any fan and it also hurts the connection developed with the actors. I am well aware that most fans are awesome, I just prefer to stay away from the fanatical ones but that's in every area of life because anything taken to extremes leads to lack of clarity, focus and ability to reason and this where dangerous situations arise from.

I’m not suprised you said this after your first sentence because you clearly didn’t read past three screens when Ive answered this about 5 times already.  But since you’re special I’ll give you a truncated version: it’s to piss off the Ackles Army stans.  Longtime readers know I used to engage in petty feuds with the AAs on the defunct IMDB forums.  Read here and here to get the jist.  When I opened this account for unrelated show reasons, I thought it would hilarious if I called it “lol-jensen-ackles” knowing it will pinged the AAs’ radar and piss them off, and it did.  Then to my surprise people actually wanted my opinions.  After a time the old url name didn’t seem fair anymore but I didn’t want to get rid of it all together and so changed it to the current name and pretend that it isn’t still going to piss off the AA.  

Sidenote: another Anon thought I was anti-Jensen without reading my blog because the anti hashtag showed up in the DM profile.  In the beginning I used anti tags on non-fawning posts because some readers requested it.  Just because it’s tagged anti doesn’t mean it’s anti, it mostly means I have some sensitive readers.  But I haven’t used the anti tags in some time because I grew lazy.

I “favor” Jared for the same reasons AAs “favor” Jared, because he’s playing the lead protagonist.  It’s just natural for people to talk more about the story’s protagonist and the actors who play them.  Some of you can’t distinguish between Sam and Jared and therefore think I’m talking more favorable about Jared.

Outside the show I think I talk more about Jensen than Jared because the Padaleckis cover for eachother while the Ackles feed off of eachother.   Basically Jared is not as entertaining as Jensen, Jared’s wife is not at entertaining as Jensen’s wife, Jared’s brother in law is no where as entertaining as Jensen’s brother in law, and finally, Jared’s stans are boring compared to Jensen’s stans. See a pattern? It’s subtle, I know, but I promise it’s there.

I saw u answer an ask about "jared stans" and as a bibro (love both j2) i have many bibro mutuals on both twitter and tumbler- and we are very much aware of the jared hate and we talk and share info with eachother about certain stans but very few times does anyone argue with minions or AAs (Some do on tumbler but not all) And unlike minions or AAs we don't tweet Misha hate like I've seen both minions and AAs do to jared. I dont think that makes us boring, I think that makes us unproblemtic.

You’re probably right.  Maybe you people are interesting but I wouldn’t know it since you mostly keep to your lane.  By keeping drama to yourselves and getting what you want, you appear boring.  See, you mostly got what you wanted so you didn’t suffer the consequence of being assholes usually associated with being stans.  When I used to read scripts I’ve noticed there is a fine line between boring and interesting, the crucial missing link is consequence, meaning the writer didn’t threaten the main characters with any consequences should they fail. The hero received a call to adventure and even refused the call, but was never informed of all of the dire consequences if they didn’t succeed, so the audience were never informed of the consequences. Therefore, the audience were never engaged in the Hero’s journey and never care if they accomplishes their goals or not.  So now you know why demon!Dean and MoC!Dean was boring, there was no consequence or fallout for his choices.

I had decided not to pay attention to these fandom dramas regarding cons anymore, but lots of posts regarding Jared's cancellation are still on, so maybe one rant won't affect a lot. Please be aware that this rant is not any accusation or moral policing, and I firmly believe you are entirely free to write anything you want in your blog- it's just a vent of frustration from a follower who adores reading them.

I very much remember, when Jensen cancelled his appearance at the last con weeks after Jared's announcment of cancellation- a lot of people who were kind of relieved to see Jared cancelling, accused Jensen of being unprofessional and not caring about fans. And that was before Jensen's other engagement came out publicly (then it was a shower of criticism which might be logical or not- not going in that discussion). Now Jared cancelled his JIB appearance, and the picture just reversed- Jensen's fans accusing Jared for being unprofessional and the same people who were criticizing Jensen then jumping in front to protect Jared from that spiral of criticism. And the loop goes on and on and on. I am completely aware how much illogical and hateful AAs and hellers are against Jared, Jared's stans are not even 10% of that. But when the logical posts of Jared's very sensible fans look so blatantly biased to a neutral person, how are they supposed to differentiate between them?

I have no complaint against Jared for prioritising his work, neither did I had any complain against Jensen that time. It's their life, their work- only they have the right to decide which one is more important, not any of us. And when people are doing that, they shouldn't change their point of view based on their own fav, because then it seems hypocrisy. I understand the natural urge the defend the person you like by making string of logic, and criticising the person you don't like using another string of logic- and it is a nice pass-time, but it doesn't look pretty.

I love J2, leaning towards Jared more after Jensen's prequel fiasco. I am very much critical of Jensen when it needs to be. But I feel nowadays a lot of Jensen's criticism comes from the pre-decided idea that Jensen is not a good person. If jared does the exact same thing he won't be criticized because he is the known sweetheart. (Ofcourse the AAs do the opposite- blame Jared for everything to an extent where it becomes funny) People first decides who is guilty then backtracks the logics to put charges against him when it should be the other way around. And this mentality is not only in the fandom, but has spread in other spectrums as well.

Then there's the other side of it, the side that makes Jensen into a demigod and Jared into "Satan" so it's both sides exaggerating and running on preconceived notions.

I feel I should point out that Jensen has lost charisma points due to engaging in behavior that were non charismatic such as arrogantly bragging and patting himself on the back, lying about several things, so most people are just discovering new sides to him and reacting. Even if they do criticize him, they are rooting for him which I find beautiful especially coming from Jared fans. Have you ever watched 12 Angry Men (1957)? If not I highly recommend it, I think you will love it judging by your ask.
