𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ When you first arrived in hell you almost got killed and let's just say your reaction to being held at gunpoint was unexpected. You had puffed up like a balloon and just started rolling away from the person who was trying to kill you while making a loud speak/screaming noise.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You rolled so far and slowly started to float up into the sky, you ended up bumping into somone's head, the person looked up at you concerned but you were too overwhelmed to notice them as you started to cry. (You were always such a cry baby)

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ The person caught you as you deflated, you almost instantly clinged to them.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You looked at the person still sniffling, you were met with a female who had blonde hair and a concerned look on her face. (You found Charlie congratulations! That was sarcasm btw)

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Charlie ended up carrying you to the hotel with her. You just clang to her while processing what was happening.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Charlie introduced you to the crew while you hid behind her, Charlie explained how she wanted you to stay and you were still too overwhelmed to say no.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ When you first started to live in the hotel you realized quite quickly that your, well... Your really small. Like smaller then Nifty small but your still a bit taller then the egg bois.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Speaking of the egg bois you absolutely adore them, not only because their the only ones who are smaller then you but also because you liked hanging around them. You also like to hang out with Sir Pentious.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You like to help Nifty Clean from time to time but was suspended from helping her for a week after you dropped the large broom on your head causing you to puff up again and let out a loud squeak/scream. (Do you know how long it took to get you off the ceiling)

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You liked to hang around Charlie as she treated you very nicely and was always able to calm you down when you got overwhelmed. Charlie absolutely adores you but she doesn't adore when you dig yourself into the ground. (You've caused so much property damage)

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Charlie was forced to put a sand box in every corner of the hotel to make sure you wouldn't bury in the floor. You end up leaving trails of sand behind you whenever you get out of your sand boxes causing nifty to have to clean you and the trail of sand up everytime.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Vaggie is not so good when it comes to taking care of you, she tries (and fails), last time she tried to calm you down she yelled at you by accident and made the situation worse.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You hang out with Husk and Angel at time when your bored. Husk sometimes makes you mocktails loaded with sugar and candy when your having a bad day.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Angel likes to use your like a plushie to cuddle with when you guys watch movies together. Your the perfect person to cuddle with in Angel's opinion because your just the right amount of chubby and squishy. (You chubby ball)

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You never really hang out with Alastor because he makes you uneasy and that leads you to being overwhelmed and that leads you to inflating and floating off into the never ending void until you eventually deflate.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ Speaking of which you were forced to go with Alastor when he took the egg bois from Sir Pentious because Charlie said you needed fresh air. You sneak into the overlord meeting with an egg boi. Rosie flashes her sharp teeth at you and the egg boi causing you to inflate as you floated out of an open window that was open for some reason (Plot convenience). No one seemed to notice you or the ear breaking squeak you let out.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You deflated and landed on the roof, you scoot your little bottom to the edge of the roof where you saw a balcony. You saw a tall lady with white hair (everyone's tall compared to you) talking to a man dressed in all black who you thought had a cool voice.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You ended up getting a little too close to the edge of the roof causing you to fall off and hit your head on the balcony. You started to cry because of how much your head hurt, you inflated and almost floated away but the tall grabbed you before you could. The tall woman put her hand over your mouth to stop the squeaking noise you were making.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You slowly deflated as the tall women questioned what you are, she was about to throw you out but the man stopped her and took you in his arms instead.

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You ended up spending a little bit of time with them (You were done for two hours.) but your sure it's ok, I mean you weren't in any danger. (Charlie is panicking)

𖤐𖨆٭*⫸ You loved the hotel and everyone who lived inside, they were your family now and you adored them. Everything was perfect. (Until you got kidnapped, part two coming soon)

Hi! Do you know any one session ttrpgs? Preferably space/sci-fi themed but that’s not strictly necessary.

What’s important to me is that it’s creative, that it has fun mechanics and that you really have to work together (it’s for a birthday party). Also I should probably mention all participants are beginners but I’d definitely set aside some time to get into understanding the mechanics beforehand.

THEME: Collaborative Space One-Shots

Hello friend, I think I have a really neat mix of games here for you to check out. I think most of these will naturally lead to creative, collaborative solutions from your players!

This Ship Is No Mother, by New Madras.

This Ship Is No Mother is a game about people in space, working jobs that are probably going to get them killed. It's 50+ pages, fully illustrated with art by Justin Nichol.

Inspired by movies like Alien and games like Mothership and Dread, this is for fans of tension, creepy-crawlies, and general horror. Mechanically, it's a card-based Forged in the Dark game, first in the series of games currently called the Cardsharp Sonata.

In this game, players start with a full deck of cards and as you play, that deck will run down. When the deck ends, there is a climactic moment of panic as one of the characters is going to do something stupid and get themselves (and maybe everyone else) killed.

A space horror game, this is a great game option for folks who love Alien. It’s designed to play within a very specific time frame, because the game ends when you use the last cards from a 52-card deck. It’s a game meant for horror and suspense, and was designed to run with Mothership game modules, so I’d recommend looking up some Mothership modules on Itch!

24XX Unlikely Heroes - Space Questing, by FutureFriend.

All you wanted was a steady paycheck, a quiet life among the stars, and maybe a comfy closet to nap in. Action and adventure? "Mmm, no thanks. I’m good." The universe, however, isn’t taking "no" for an answer…

Time to grab some tools, buddies, and your brown space pants. Out here heroism may be less “epic deeds and grand destinies” and more “frantically pressing the right button before it all explodes!”

24XX Unlikely Heroes - Space Questing is a rules-lite sci-fi RPG that is distilled into just 4 pages that fit snugly on two sides of a sheet of paper. It is a hack of the awesome 2400 system, by Jason Tocci.

24XX is a pretty light system and is great for dungeon crawls. As with most games in this family, the rules and GM advice fit on one page, so they should be pretty easy to teach. This game is pretty goofy, as you are regular space-folk who find themselves pushed into a dramatic scenario. If you are running a game for the first time, I’d definitely recommend running this game with the help of a dungeon, such as Space Frogdom, a light dungeon with space frogs and a countdown towards the hatching of a dragon egg.

Holdfast Station, by Lampblack & Brimstone.

The rim of the known universe. A place so god-forsaken, so hostile and alien to life itself that only the mad go there—and only the desperate stay.

That’s you.

Holdfast Station is about asteroid miners surviving and holding their community together in the grim desolation of space. Regular folks in a rough spot, who hold to each other and their own. A place where survival means you trust each other, you fight like hell, and you hope for the best. A place where food and water and even air is scarce. Where the crushing emptiness and massive force of the void are only feet away. Where you live so close you know everyone by smell. Where one accident could spell everyone’s destruction.

It’s about the people who step up when disaster strikes. They aren’t heroes, just regular people—people with no choice but to risk it all for their home and those they love.

Holdfast Station is a "pick up and play" RPG—After you gather players, some dice, and the provided record sheets (physical or online), the book guides you through play, one step at a time. One player, called the Navigator, takes on the role of storyteller, narrating events, encouraging players to contribute, and moving the story along. Each of the other players takes on the role of a worker on the station, striving to survive at the edge of known space.

This game advertises itself as a “no prep” game, although if you are a first-time GM, it might still be good to read through the entire thing first, just to familiarize yourself with all of the pieces of the game. Holdfast Station is all about a terrible event threatening the station, so it naturally encourages the players to work together to try and solve the problem before time runs out. The game might run a bit long if the players need a bit of help putting characters together, but I enjoy the guidance and tools present in the game that help you stay on task.

Survivors, by Alexander Schneider.

Survivors is a science-fiction role-playing game designed as a one-shot cosmic horror scenario where players are faced with survival questions while also encountering an unknown alien force which threatens their very lives. Together they may find ways to survive (or at least hope to) but they will hardly escape the psychic horror they pose themselves. Is it the desperate situation or something else which drives them mad to a point of no return to their former selves?

If you want a horror one-shot, you might be interested in Survivors. It has a very specific opening premise, and each event that the players encounter gives them roleplaying prompts that encourage them to replicate paranoia, fear, and a deterioration of emotional stability.

This is definitely a game you have to clear with the group beforehand, as the way the game has a lot of representations of different forms of mental illness, most of them inflicted upon the players the further they delve into the adventure.

Koboldly Go!, by CoffeeSnake Studios.

Calling all Kobolds! 

Gather your crew, assemble your ship, and take to the depths of space on a mission to discover strange new worlds. To seek out life and new civilizations. 

To Koboldly Go where no lizard has gone before!

This game is exceptionally humorous and lighthearted, and works really well for groups who have some appreciation for the inherent goofiness of early Star Trek. You create your kobolds by rolling for your job, colour, and your stats. You also spend time designing your ship by drawing from a regular pack of playing cards. The biggest downside for this game is that it doesn’t come with an adventure - you’ll have to create one yourself. I’d recommend drawing from Star Trek to create a planet or star system that has an anomaly that directly affects the ship, since you spend a lot of time creating it.

Greenhorns Quickstart, by Spicy Tuna RPG.

In Greenhorns your crew will create planets and fill the cosmos with new incredible life. Survive anomalies that spawn from these worlds and stabilize the planets for long term life. Define the planets’ histories and futures through the loot you retrieve and return home to a heroes welcome. You are Kruxian. You are chosen.

The full game of Greenhorns is good for a multi-session experience, but the Quickstart is suited to one-shots and is also free! Player abilities are mostly focused on combat, with each character class contains skills that guarantee success - but can only be used so many times. This is a game that depends on players coming up with creative solutions to problems, so I think collaboration will come pretty naturally.

The setting is kind of gonzo, with a mix of space fiction and fantasy tropes. If you want a unique setting that might inspire more games in the future, I recommend Greenhorns.

ATMA, by Meromorph Games.

ATMA is a complete roleplaying game system in a tiny package. It's portable, quick to set up and teach, and plays in just 2 hours — perfect for game nights or pop-up sessions! A Game Master and 1-4 players use illustrated tarot cards to fuel RPG gameplay focused on creativity and quick thinking. ATMA excels as a tutorial for first-time GMs who've always wanted to run an RPG, while allowing limitless creativity for roleplaying pros.

This is probably the closest to what you’re looking for, I heavily recommend that you check ATMA out. It’s self-contained and super-fun to pull out and show off the the group. I don’t know if you have enough time to order the physical version, but there is an online version of the game and free print-and-play downloads if you just want a quick test of the game! I love the art and abilities presented in ATMA, and I think it’s definitely very beginner-friendly. It feels part-way between a boardgame and a roleplaying game, so if your friends are familiar with board games, this is a good bridge.

I’d also recommend…

Mothership has really quick and easy-to-understand character creation, and the game is designed to run small adventures that work as space dungeon crawls. This content is great for GMs because it gives them a location with a bunch of information to present to your players, which means that you have a lot to work with if you haven’t done something like this before. I’d recommend checking out There is A Goblin on Icarus Station if you want a Mothership adventure that has something for horror fans and comedy lovers.

Summary:

One of my all time favorite games. It is the gold standard of farming games and even has one of the best fishing mechanics. I played this during the beginning of my health problem during senior year and it really helped me cope a lot. Although I didn't play multiplayer, my friend and I played at the same time. This game has so many cherished memories especially when I got to compare gameplay with my friend. Made by one man, this is such an unbelievable game. There's unlockable events after x amount of years that entice players to continue playing.; There's also no one way to play, for example I was a lot more introverted and only talked to a few characters whereas my friend played more socially. Maybe someday I'll continue playing to complete more achievements. My one gripe is there's a lot of responsibilities to get back into, so it's a little hard to get back into. It's one of the games I can recommend to everyone. It's hard if you makes it hard, cozy if you make it cozy, etc. Excellent designs, animation, gameplay, story, choices, etc. My worry is that this game is so well crafted I'm worried playing other farming games won't live up, I am so excited for ConcernedApe's new game. He is a major inspiration to start making my own games. I have also heard modded Stardew is really good and really worth checking out. All in all, a superb game loved by so many fans. Highly recommend.

Updated Adelite Profile

Adelite is Sebastian's youngest child. She is really adventurous and loves exploring the mines, you can find her there a few times a week. Sometimes her brother Harlow will join her. You can also find her hanging around the Adventurer's Guild sometimes. She likes talking to Marlon and Gil about their adventures.

Once you get passed 4 hearts with her she'll start mailing you items she found in the mines! Can be anything from ores and bars to bombs and clay.

In the fall and winter you can find her at the museum. Once you start adding artifacts to it she'll talk about all the cool objects being added to the collection! (Not canon but I'm thinking that after the collection is finished she gets a job at the museum to take care of the artifacts :))

Her loved gifts include Apples, Blackberries, Fire Opal, Frog Eggs, Poppies, Spicy Eel, and Void Egg. Her hated gifts are Amphibian Fossil, Bat Wing, Fried Egg, Mummified Frog (not pictured, my bad), and Pink Cake. I couldn't include it but her liked gifts are all skeletal artifacts (Rib, Tailbone, Hand, ect)!

I don't know how well you can see them but her friends are Kinsey (Abigail's daughter), Jude (Sam's daughter), and Emmett (Maru's son).

somehow were back on the dragon i dunno why. dess stretches and comments she feels so stiff, like shes been standing still for 5 months. where are we? cam comments we killed a snake and now werre on a dragon. cam offers dess birdseed and frog and dans take some lol. frog says there was no snake.

theres a town! landing! theres tree stumps everywhere. dont tell me its the lorax. fuck you. dess looks down and goes "is that fucking kneedville?" dans asks how she knows this place and she says she gets around a lot. she can show us around!

the land is dead. susie just fucks off. were all following her lol. we see the sneeds, awful fashion. undyne wants one to hold the baby lol. dans wants one too lol. cam is aghast how awful it looks lol.

those trees look so weird and fluffy. cam is trying to climb it lol. cam got up nice! dess checks if the tree is magical, their not its just like that. cam yanks out a piece of fluff! dans asks if tori wants to talk to the trees.

tori and frog leave to talk to a tree dans is babysitting suzy. inferno is who knows! no chicken place in town for suzy DX tori says hi to cam and asks the tree whats going on around here. cam keeps trying to get the tree to eat birdseed. tree says they've been being harvested.

cam jumps off the tree and dess catches them, holding them like burger. tori asks the tree whos in charge of killing them. cam tries to get away and dess just tosses them over her shoulder lol. tree says they have to ask the lorax for details. tree tells tori they want a non violent way to end this but their not opposed if she kills him.

undyne asks a local where they can buy a sneed. in the shop theres so many sneeds for sale. dans messages undyne to get him one too. 100 gold what a ripoff. undyne swaddles the temmie in it, it starts crying xD cam and dess show up nice. cam is distressed that undyne and dans are dressed badly lol. dans pays undyne back for the sneed lol.

dess walks up to undyne so cam can see the sneed lol. cam tries to get dans to help them get out of dess's grip and dans laughs and tells dess to take cam into the sneed store xD cam falls on their face and scramble over to undyne wtf. dess takes suzy to the sneed store lol.

shes hiding a sneed in another to steal one lol. she succeeds and forces the pink one on cam lol. they toss it off and keep looking for inferno. inferno falls out of eeby deeby right on cam lol. the void egg landed on his head!

cam wants to do crimes with inferno wtf. they really wanna burn down the sneed shop and steal the money back. cam pays inferno wtf. inferno lies in wait xD

suzy smells meat and goes running off so dans follows her. fuck yeah meat! its someones barbeque and she demands dans gets her some meat! arbys run by dr seuss! shes hungy and chows down. dans says hes on a strict diet.

back to toriel asking about the lorax! dess and cam are independently going to the tree. gotta find the lorax! tori headed there earlier so dess and cam see her in the distance and rush to catch up.

as they walk cam gets tired and climbs up tori. someone tied a sneed to cam without them noticing and they scream and spike it. inferno goes eeby deeby for a bit damn. frog laughs and asks what their looking for. toris looking for the lorax! cam trips over a rock and goes eeby deeby.

frog starts calling out for the lorax. he shows up and somehow they all know he sounds like danny devito despite him not existing here. theres a stump now suddenly he can sit on. how. it turned into a log wtf. dans elsewhere comments he thinks his ex showed up.

dess asks the lorax, calling him devito, if hes dated dans xD inferno escapes eeby deeby! tori said he didnt have to answer that lol. he tells us about the onceler and what an asshole he is. (dans starts humming that one song to himself lol)

I actually think it’s good to have two non-opposite aspects as the non-space/time players. If you have two players with opposite aspects… aspects that are linked are like a spectrum. You do something with the spectrum or gradient of one aspect to another. That way you have more control over the session and two people aren’t responsible for two halves of one gradient.

You have your space player, who looks very confident and equipped to be a space player. This comes naturally to them. They won’t have much difficulty breeding frogs.

Your time player is a page. This means they have a preconceived and idealized idea of what time aspect is. And they think they do it or are capable of it. When they’re really shit. They must grow a lot. They might be introverted or pessimistic from being a derse dreamer. Don’t tell me nepeta isn’t like that! She had a big secret she never got comfortable with. And she had like 2 friends.

Your page will have to hurry up if there’s a time crunch. Let’s see what things are like in the pages universes in regards to their aspects. Jake - hope - oh this session was void. There was basically no hope at all. Tavros - okkkkk there was not a lot of freedom for anyone on alternia. I think there would definitely be a time crunch and every second counts.

Contrasting that, the space player being an heir suggests there is a healthy bounty of space in this session. Johns session was basically themed about escape and transition and moving forward. Equius’ session was full of meaningless bullshit and no one having any information at all. Everyone is like “did anyone notice where gamzee went” lol.

Mage of light is obviously a great resource, but I think they wouldn’t like lend their knowledge out like rose because they’re the active class and therefore they are do-it-yourself. This person might be the leader. They would instruct everyone where to be and what to do, and also have a ton of information about how the session works. Like sprite-like knowledge.

Sollux’s session is extremely doomed so mages have a lot to work with and learn from. And everyone seems to be in a relationship in meulin’s session…

Sylph of life is a good healer! Did you pick these out carefully to be just the right set? This person is like a walking medkit. Remember, one revive per person. The sylph would also foster independence and power in the session and players.

Sylphs do not have much of their aspect and are supposed to - not MAKE more like a maid, such as Aradia destroying things like crazy - but GROW their aspect like a plant carefully and nurse it until it is healthy and strong, like how kanaya has the matriorb and it is symbolically important that it is an egg. Because you have to incubate those and she cares about it like a mother.

“As you all know, this morning we are doing mostrar y compartir,” Señor Maxo starts, looking over all his full class of young students with the smallest smile on his face. “I made sure at the door that all parents brought you something to show, so who wants to go first?”

Dapper, a kid who prefers his top hats over learning his two times tables, throws his hand up first, a bright grin on his face that contrasts his deep black skin, akin to his father’s. As smart as a kid he can be, he never really focused on his learning, much preferring to doodle animals on the corners of his pages than to listen to what his teacher had to say.

“Dapper, come to the front.” Maxo welcomed nonetheless, beckoning him forwards. It wasn’t a shock when the boy lifted a cardboard box, skipping down the isle as he kept the box steady.

“It was very hard to decide who to bring in today,” he started, too happy to settle anyone’s nerves, “But papa helped me, and so I present,” he lifted the lid, the box folding with it apart from the bottom, which was being supported by only the palm of his hand. There sat a frog, it’s black eyes void of any thought as it shimmered in the classroom light. “Yesenia!”

There was a yelp from the back of the class, and then a crash following it, Juana’s glasses falling off of her face in her shock. On the contrary, Tallulah, whose seat was by the teacher’s desk at the front, leaned closer, wonder written into her eyes as anything but foreign as she watched Yesenia waddle across the cardboard.

“Yesenia is a blue poison dart frog,” when Tallulah reached her hand out, Dapper had no choice but to slap it away, ignoring the pout on her face to continue his explanation, “Don’t touch her, you could die, or become a potato, do you want to be a potato Tallulah?”

“I’m good, but Chayanne would love to be a potato!” She supplied easily, smiling at her brother who could only glare at her, a silent wish for her to quieten their strange secrets.

“Okay,” Maxo finally cuts in, ushering Dapper back to his seat, “I think that’s enough death talk por un día, whose next?”

Chayanne slowly raised his hand, clear hesitance in his movement but clear determination in his sparkling blue eyes. The kid had always been a wonder to Maxo; he knew the boy inherited his skull-like features from his Dad Missa, a man constantly around the globe for work. His other features, like his golden locks and diamond irises came from his other Dad, Philza, a renowned soldier known for his lack of mortality.

“Chayanne, you don’t have something to show?” The teacher noted as the boy made his way to the front of the class, eyes not moving from where Tallulah and Richarlyson sat close together, the former clapping her hands quietly and the latter giving him a silent whistle.

“No, I uh- I have a story, that my papa Phil taught me.” He replied, his words becoming more confident the longer he spoke. All Maxo could do was nod, encourage him to continue and hope Leo didn’t fall more asleep than they already had. “So, you know how we live on this massive ass potato farm?” There was a chorus of yes’s that spread across the room, and somehow this only enhanced the boy’s confidence. “Well, the farm is a legacy of sorts, created to commemorate one of my Dad’s best friends- Technoblade, is what he told me he was called.”

“Weird name.” Rámon mumbled, and Chayanne gave him the smallest smile, deciding against commenting.

“A few years ago he decided he wanted to break the record for the most potatoes farmed by one man ever.” He started, pacing the front of the classroom with his hands dug deep into his hoodie pockets. “Of course, it’s quite a task, and he had an opponent named Squid, who’d set the record and was continuing to set the record every minute.”

“So he never stopped farming?” Pomme interrupted, arm half raised as she smiled, and Chayanne nodded.

“This man was committed to farming these potatoes, but no one’s dedication could beat Technoblade’s.” It was simply the admiration and amazement in Chayanne’s voice that made Maxo want to listen, and it was clear the kids agreed, with Leo’s head no longer resting on the table and Tilin’s blinking eyes looking directly at the front for once, their hands dancing in front of her to keep himself occupied. “Within just a few months, with a few magical secrets I’ve been told I’m not allowed to talk about, Technoblade broke the record for the most potatoes farmed.”

The smile fell from the boy’s face, and everyone waited with baited breath for the end of his story, naive hope it would end there and then.

“But, um,” Chayanne looked over at Tallulah, who gave him a small nod and that wonderful smile of hers, and the dedication blossomed once more. “But sadly he passed away, and so we live his legacy on, and we donate all produce to charity because papa says that’s what Technoblade would’ve wanted.”

Without needing to be told, Chayanne made his way back to his seat, Rámon not-so-subtly nudging him as a way of saying ‘good job’, and the boy could only supply a small smile, nudging him back.

The rest of the day moved smoothly, with Tallulah’s flower from her garden, Trumpet’s new vinyl player, and Leo’s 3D printed dragon, everyone seemed weirdly content.

Maxo only got a chance to ask Chayanne his question at the end of the day.

Philza was picking him up that day, Maxo could spot that man’s pitch-black wings from forever away, so he knew he had to be quick before the man threw hands.

“Hey, Chayanne, could I talk to you for a second?” He asked as all the kids were walking out, bags in hand as they chatted amongst themselves. Tallulah paused too, turning to face the teacher with confusion in her dark brown eyes, brown hair falling over her face but being mostly contained in a dirty red beanie too similar to her Dad’s. The boy hummed, walking to his desk without question, leaving his twin to linger by the door. “Why did you decide to talk about Technoblade?”

The question was innocent, a want to understand the reasons behind the kid’s thought-out choices, but it didn’t stop the prior hesitation from returning.

“He-“ Chayanne started, before he squeezed his eyes shut, hands pulled into tight fists as he took a deep breath. “He showed strength when it was hardest to.” The boy decided on, eyes out of the window as he thought his words through. “I just want to be as strong as him one day, and I have no doubt the others will want to be too.”

Maxo could only manage a nod and a smile, motioning to the door with his chin.

“You best be going before your papa comes to stab me with that enchanted sword I know he has.” The teacher advised, and Chayanne could only scoff, walking out of the room before he had a chance to say anything else. Like before, Tallulah hovered, thinking it through before speaking.

“Have a buena tarde señor!” She eventually told him, before running after her brother, her long skirt flowing behind her in her haste.

It was for days like those that Maxo became a teacher.

And, sometimes, it was nice to know that the kids could still teach you some things, no matter how much smarter you are.

A little basement tour...

This is Sebastian's room. I went out of my way to give my beloved all his favourite things! A pool table, gaming & music area, coffee maker, fish tank with flounder, a little frog terrarium, gem & void egg collection, cute little froggies, even his blue vase is here!

Lily's flower and music room and a cute little bathroom and laundry area. The bath is fully usable and regenerates stamina.

I know logically this would never work, but I do love mods that give little extra growing areas in the basement! This is where Lily grows her coffee and cocoa beans. Cocoa Plant and Chocolate Cooking gives you the ability to grow the beans and adds lots of new recipes as well.

Lily's crafting room, made to display all the lovely little items you can make with the adorable mod Trinkets. Such a fun and pretty mod, I highly recommend it! :)

A quiet place day one review!

Late movie review for “quiet place day one”

finished it a few hours ago but C and I were playing a lot of stuff 🤣.

Plot: 6/10. Pretty much the same as the rest of the movies. But I did like the areas and how cool looking everything was.

Characters: 7/10. Love Eric. Sam was annoying in the beginning tbh but I liked her more as the story continued. I did tear up at the end when her and Erik split ways. The nurse deserved better but I knew he was gonna die lol. Monster went Yoink!

Scares: 5/10. I’m more of a shove it in my face, kind of person. I prefer scary games over movies to be fair. But I did think the monster in the rail road scene was pretty cool. When the nurse got snatched, my friend… we’ll call her Void. And I started punching air 🤣. Her poor dogs were so confused.

Ending: 8/10. Shockingly liked the ending. I thought the touch with the note was very on character for Sam, and it even made me tear up. I hope we eventually return to see what happens to Eric or find out more. Maybe he’s mentioned in the other movies (which I have not watched. I know for a fact I’ll hate the pregnant lady in the first movie because who the hell purposely gets pregnant during the apocalypse when you have to be silent? Girl deserved to die if she did.)

Over all: 8/10. Would watch again with my friends family. Void’s mom definitely found Void and my suffering funny lol. Their dogs also liked the snuggling. Also our friend’s mom had some buyers over for some frog tanks, and I’m pretty sure they heard the 3 of us discussing who would die first.

We decided.

C: would last maybe 2 days before sneezing and dying.

Void: a week as long as she isn’t in an explosion or something that would cause her to sneeze, he knack for walking silently would come in clutch.

Me: probably 3 days max before I ran out of my medication and I started having coughing fits from choking on my own spit.
