The four of you are on a mission to find new members, form the first troupe, and bring it to Furuichi until sunset or else the demolition of your father's agency will continue! Although you and your big sister are sure to find one, or two if you're lucky enough, is it just easier said than done? Or you'll be able to hold the title of 'The Saviour of Mankai Company'?

Chapter 111:

Spring is...back?

You're trying to catch your breath. Both of your hands are now gripping tightly in your sling bag as you stand still beside a lamp post where your big sister holds onto for dear life. Your chest huffs and puffs and continues to seek for air to fill your deprived lungs

"Nee-san, are you sure we can find new members here?" It's the first thing you said before she looked up to you. You can see her drained face like the life inside of her has been sucked out, her grip is still on the lamp post as she motioned her other hand to wait for her answer. "I told you to slow down! I almost tripped on my feet earlier, you know!" you scolded your big sister, to which she just laughed off as her way of apologizing between her nonstop pants. The two males had just finished catching their breaths and are now looking concerned at the two of you

"Is she-"

"She's okay, Matsukawa-san, sorry for making the two of you worry" You swiftly turned your whole body to them with a reassuring smile whilst your hands are kept behind your back and bowed respectfully for causing such a ruckus, right now you're trying to distract them from your sister—who's now at the verge of dying but she can't just die yet, you still have a mission to accomplish!

A few minutes had passed, you decide to look behind your shoulder when your big sister finally replies to you, "Trust your big sister on this, (Y/n). I promise you I'll do the best that I can!" She proudly said with her hand pressing on her chest

"Ahhhh, this will save our agency!" Matsukawa cried out of happiness, the other boy couldn't hide his smile while he looked at the two of you

Now that you remember it, haven't the two of you met before arriving at the theater? You were confused as to why he acts as if you weren't there, you felt a pain in your chest as you dramatically closed your eyes while your lips formed a pout, you were lost in your own thoughts until you heard a familiar voice near you

"Hey! I'm sorry I couldn't find the perfect timing to talk to you earlier, but I'm so glad that we met again!!" You heard his cheery voice, the one that held so much passion earlier on stage, you opened your eyes and turned your head to your side, your eyes met his that matched the color of his beautiful dark-pink hair, together with his lovely smile that illuminated an exact replica of how each and every flowers bloom every time spring season arrives. He held so much joy that you can feel yourself hallucinate cherry blossoms blooming around his face, just like the first time you met

"I also couldn't find the perfect timing to talk to you, but I'm also glad to meet you again. I was also surprised to find out that we're actually going to the same location" you curved your lips into a small smile; a gentle one, he chuckled to your reply, "I was really surprised I saw you from the audience! How's my performance?" He was quick to switch the topic as he cannot wait any longer for your comment. "It was good! The talking parrot surprised me for a bit but you're good at acting, I think you just need some more experience and also members" his cheeks slightly turned pink and thanked you upon hearing your personal remark, he didn't know but just hearing it from you makes him feel like he doesn't need anyone's comments anymore; yours is the only acceptable one, but he brushed it off as he thought that's a bit too selfish to think about for someone he just met

Izumi clapped her hands to gain the other three's attention, to which she successfully did. "Come on now, everyone. There's no time for us to feel safe" she starts to walk away and motions her hands to follow her steps, "We have to find new members, we can't let him know we're just lying!"

And with that, you heard the manager scream as if his life was going to end now, actually, you knew this was coming so you covered your ears, you can't help but to look around after that, seeing lots of eyes looking at him weirdly for causing such a scene

"W-WHAT?! L-LIE? IT WAS ALL A LIE?!"

"It was more like a street act than a lie" your big sister pouts her lips in pure disappointment as he corrected him, I mean it shattered her heart knowing that thing wasn't considered a top-tier acting even though the first time she acted was in elementary

You averted your eyes from the two males, you know very well you're your big sister's accomplice because this feels more like a crime than a lie

"S-so our agency will actually be demolished?" You turned your head to the dark-pink haired boy-that-you-still-don't- know-the-name-until-now-because-it-kept- slipping-out-of-your-mind as his voice cracked, 'He's about to cry, nee-san! It's all your faulttt' you can see how his eyes attempted to tear up. The manager crouched down as he kept crying, not giving care about the people who came across him in this state

"We have to find new members to cancel it" Your big sister begins to look around for someone who looks interested in acting, "I don't think you can find someone who wants to act just by looking at their clothes and their aura alone, nee-san, that's called being judgemental" your sister tried to ignore your words as she kept her eyes on the lookout and her lips whistling as if to block your voice. "Nee-san!" You shouted as she began to sneak away from you and you caught her in action, "Don't act like you didn't hear me!" She tried to laugh it off but you gave her an unimpressed look

"I don't know what I can do, but please let me help too!" The boy politely interrupted as he openly rests his hand to his chest, 'Well atleast we have another help' you sighed in relief. Your sister, on the other hand, cooed at the boy's offer as she dramatically wiped a non-existent tear from her eyes, her hands clasped together and she approached the said boy

"What a sweet boy!" She unexpectedly ruffled the boys' hair, to which surprised the latter. Then she was quick to switch to pinching both of his cheeks which earned an uncomfortable groan from him, you tried to hide your laugh as the poor boy from your sister's grasp was trying his best to seek help. She stopped as she apologized to the boy who had his cheeks puffed up red and swollen

"Ah! By the way, I'm Tachibana Izumi and this is my little sister Tachibana (Y/n), what's your name?" She asked, atleast it didn't slip through your sister's mind, she saved you from it, you scooted closer to your sister as you mumbled a small, "It's nice to meet you"

"My name is Sakuya Sakuma. "Saku" as in "Bloom" Nice to meet you!" He happily bowed just like you did

Now that everything is settled, in the meantime, and now that you finally know his name, all you can worry about is how you and your big sister will find new members and bring it to Furuichi by sunset. You think that the three of you are depending on your big sister, but you don't want her to take all the responsibility, you're also here for a purpose, and you don't want your sister to take all of the problems and burdens and keep it to herself, you want to prove that she can also depend on you when it comes to situations like this. And with that, you decided that it's time for you to speak up and let them hear your own suggestion

"I think that if we need new members, we need to promote the agency. We need to start by showing them what we can provide and what makes the Mankai Company better than the others!"

"That's a great idea! What can the Mankai Company provide?" Your little sister happily agreed with your idea and turned his attention to Matsukawa, this of course boosts your pride as you can't help but smile so idiotically, you just wished someone won't catch you in the act for this kind of concerning behaviour

"The Mankai Company provides a personal dorm for members, and they get to eat my cooking, two times, day and night!!" Matsukawa proudly replied, atleast now he can show off how good of a cook he is

"Well that doesn't seem too bad now, is it? Let's proceed with that!" Izumi hummed in agreement, feeling really motivated, "Lil sis, you'll be the interviewer and we'll be managers in charge of the auditions, okay?" She added, which horrified you. "What?! Why me?!" You whined as you tried to protest, but to no avail, your big sister doesn't let this one slip out and ignores your childish cavil. You simply just moved on about it as you had no other choice but to do it, it's for the sake of your father's agency, although you're a bit too hesitant to go all the way just for it to be saved, you know your sister's true to her words when she told Furuichi just how persistent she is at cancelling the demolition, and you don't want to crush all of her hardworks. It won't be for too long, so trust your big sister on this

"The recruitment for Mankai Company starts now! And the audition for new members will start" You purposely made your voice a little bit louder than normal so you would successfully gain the attention of random passersby. Although, given this to be your first ever street act, you can't avoid the shakiness and cracks of your voice, making you more embarrassed than you were before, it cringed you honestly, but you're ready to take risks, just for the agency to be in peace

"First! My name is Sakuya Sakuma, 17 years old!" His voice came out shaky too, it seems like no matter how hard he tries to act very confidently, his actions do the opposite effect and he hates it, he wants to show everyone how exciting and how fun performing can be but he guessed maybe now's not the right time, not when he still lacks experience

The street act went smoothly, in your perspective, you know very well the passersby are in complete contrast with your view, about your own story, and even though you get strange looks from random people, you've begun to grow tired of others misjudging you at first glance

"What's that?"

"Oh my, that looks awful"

"Is that supposed to be a street act?"

"Is it a part of a punishment game?"

You can see how your sister's face gloomed, which worsened the supposedly lively and cheerful mood you all had, "Oh...no one even gathered around us" It was like you both could read each other's minds and decided to drop the act right after she saw how ashamed you must have felt while looking around, seeing no one took any interest in your performance (except for one). You risked your dignity and sanity for this and yet no one was there to even watch it longer? Not fair, not fair at all

The streets were back to normal, almost as if nothing had happened. You silently walked out from the rest, looking around to examine the structures of different shops, you noticed a sidewalk, a bit higher than the street you were into so it's clearly above. It was right in front of you in a small alleyway, just between two tall shops. There, you noticed a single person leaning their arms on the sidewalk's pavement fence, is he looking at you? Maybe? But if he's focused on you then, maybe he's interested, it feels like he's been there for a while, but oh well! It won't hurt to try and ask so you let your feet lead your way to the strange guy

'Let's just hope he likes acting'

"Excuse me, are you perhaps interested in acting?" You went in the alleyway on the other side of the road as you raised your head to look up to him, he was startled for a bit when you started talking to him—his cheeks slowly burning and a dust of pink can be seen if you pay close attention

"E-ehh? Uhmmm.." his lips moved a little but his voice can't be heard, it seems like he was mumbling something to himself but you can't really hear it because of the distance between you and him

"Maybe you saw our performance, or maybe not, but right now we're in desperate need of new members-"

"(Y/n)! What are you doing over there?" You were quick to turn your head when you heard your sister call you out, they crossed the road to get to you and were curious to know who you were talking to just now, you are about to explain when Sakuya spoke

"Eh? Masumi-kun? Aren't you Usui Masumi-kun?" He was the first to initiate a conversation with the mysterious guy

"Do you guys know each other?" It was your big sister's turn to ask, and Sakuya was quick to nod in response, also humming with it

"We never talked to each other before, but he is my underclassmen" Sakuya gave out a cheerful smile, while the guy who's named Masumi was much more doing the opposite: he was frowning as he holds the headphones dangling from his neck, attempting to put it back on as he observed us from above

"Who?"

"Masumiiii!" He fake cried, expecting to get Masumi to feel guilty but he felt no remorse at all

"Uhmm..Masumi-kun, if you're interested, why don't you try to join?" Izumi offered, clasping both her hands on the side of her face as she tilted her head to the side, willingly waiting for either his refusal or approval. It went silent for like five seconds before he could muster up the energy for an answer, or rather another question

But before that, he held onto the fence really tight and hopped over it and did a stunt you all didn't expect, you had a mini heart attack from what he did because it was kinda high and it's scary but you're left amazed and impressed at the same time

"Is she also a member?" He was surprisingly calm right after he did that scary stunt. He averted his gaze from everyone else but he kept stealing glances at you every second. Surely, he doesn't want you to feel uncomfortable by his eyes slowly burning a hole through you from all of that gazing and glancing. You don't know but your sister can smell something fishy going around, and she's certain that she can't just let it slide

"Eh?? Oh kids these days..." She sighed at herself while clicking her tongue in disapproval, but the only thing that didn't match her overall behaviour was her smile creeping up, you weren't too happy about it, I mean your big sister is back to being that typical aunt that likes to ship you with almost every boy he met, not to mention her being too similar to that one aunt you both have in your hometown

"Nee-san, you're acting way too similar to auntie Rina" you joked, while giving her the 'I'm tired of this stuff, Nee-san' look, she only replied to you with a knowing smile, thinking that you're just acting too shy about it

"I don't know about that Mas-"

"What are you talking about?! She's one of our boss! Both of them are our directors!" Matsukawa interrupted, which was unexpected and it surprised the two of you because he had been real quiet after that horrible street act

'I haven't even agreed to join yet' Izumi thought but she realized it was too late to back out now, she hopes this won't be too hard of a job

"I will join if she's there" He finalized his words with a quick glance at you, which you didn't quite catch but your big sister was quick enough to nudge your shoulder and tease you

"Really? You'll join?!" Sakuya was too happy to care about how harsh Masumi is to him, he was quick on his feet to run towards him

"I don't care about you"

"That's true, but I'm happy!" He tried to hug him but he was quick to dodge and grabbed Sakuya's hair, pushing him down as Sakuya tried to fight back by grasping his arms

"You hear that (Y/n)? He's so sweet, that boy is sweet"

"Nee-san, pleaseee" you whined, not really in the mood for things such as this

Izumi was having fun teasing you about it, Masumi can't stop looking at you, Sakuya and Matsukawa are way too busy celebrating and here you are, trying your best to stay calm and composed

'What should we do? I didn't even decide to join yet' You bit your lip as you felt your anxiety rising up, can you really handle such a big responsibility?

'But he's our newest member, it feels bad deceiving him, but I guess I should keep it in me for now'

"Entry no.2: Masumi Usui, sixteen years old, my hobby is listening to music, and my reason to join Mankai Company is to support the director"

And right after that, girls swooned around him, completely blocking him from the others, you can see how he's trying his best to break free, which he successfully did, but the girls were still busy sticking to him like some leech, squealing and screaming then and there

"Masumi-kun is so cool!!" Sakuya exclaimed in awe, too stunned with how much effect Masumi has on the girls

"He's well composed, and he's incredibly good" you mumbled as Matsukawa hummed in agreement

It was obvious how irritated he is, with the way his eyebrows furrowed as he looked behind him where the girls were, and it was obvious how his mood quickly changed from irritated to head-over-heels. I swear you're starting to think if this was some sort of prank or act

"Really?"

"EEKKK!" You swear you felt your life was sucked out of you when he suddenly popped out in front, he mumbled out a worried "Sorry" before patiently waiting for your reply

"How's my performance?"

"It was good!"

"Did I do well just now?" You can hear how desperate he is for your answer just by his tone

"Your performance was outstanding-" Matsukawa decided to join in, but was quickly cut off by Masumi himself

"I'm not talking to you" He shot a glare to Matsukawa before taking all of his attention back to you

"Yes! Yes! Just continue doing that!" You replied back, feeling too bad about the manager's cries of sorrows. But honestly, you don't know anymore, you exhaled right after he blushed at your comments and left the scene. Right now you're trying to regain who you are the seconds before the incident. Izumi tried to cover her mouth and keep herself from laughing way too loud, you glared at her as you tried to cover your blush from the close proximity with him minutes ago. You're having a hard time differentiating what's true and what's not

"That was a good performance, Masumi-kun" Your big sister clapped her hands to gain the attention of the two boys across the street, Masumi politely thanked your sister, completely ignoring Sakuya who kept complimenting his performance

You were too relaxed knowing that you found another member that the deadline had slipped out of your mind, you reminded everyone as they came to realization except for Masumi who was a bit confused, but you'll explain the rest later and right now, all of you should run right now because time's running as well. You can see the station where you and your sister came from (Ch.1) and you caught a glimpse of a familiar person who just turned

"Nee-san! I know just the right person to find" you ran off, completely ignoring their calls because you might be too late to stop him

"Hey, (Y/n)!" Izumi groaned when you were nowhere to be seen, she began to panic about the thought of you getting lost because both of you are unfamiliar with this place

"Don't worry, I'll follow her" Masumi dashed away which left Izumi fumbling to find the right words to stop him

"Masumi-kun!" Sakuya was next to run. Izumi and Matsukawa— who were both being tagged into this mess had no other choice but to follow and run too

"PLEASE WAIT!" You don't care anymore, you don't care about attracting the attention of everyone who was there, he's the only last hope you have

"E-eh? Oh! It's you!" You were relieved he already recognized you, as you held onto your legs and pant uncontrollably, earning a worried look from the said male. It took you minutes for your breathing to be back to normal, maybe it'd be best if you never ran from the start

"You said you were looking for a dorm, right?!" He was confused at first but nods to your question

As you were about to introduce your agency, you were left astounded when you heard a familiar voice shouting not too far in front of the station

"PLEASE JOIN MANKAI COMPANY!!! WE PROVIDE DORM AND MEALS TWICE A DAY!!"

"Meals twice a day?!" It was more than enough for him to turn his head to find the source of this generous offer

'It seems like everyone managed to catch up' you sighed in relief as the blue-ish sky had started to slowly turn orange

Masumi’s affection for you was so direct, it could be intense.

“I want you, and only you.”

It was silly to get jealous over a man who clearly only had eyes for you, but his numerous fans had only grown in size since he’d become part of Mankai. It made your heart feel tight in your chest when you considered Masumi finding someone who’s a better match, perhaps more musically inclined or someone who can return the obsessive dedication in full force. The thoughts weren’t easy to voice but jealousy was something Masumi understood well.

He only wanted you to look at him.

He had talked to you every day, the only person he tended to have more than one sentence conversations with, he ate lunch with you, chose you as his partner for school projects, he didn’t think he could’ve been more obvious. To say what part of you inspired this dedication would be impossible for him to pinpoint, but he knew that he wanted to be your person. The thought of someone else sharing those moments with you instead of him inspired a burning ball of jealousy that melted through his normally cold exterior.

“I know, sorry for being stupid about it.” You rubbed your arm sheepishly, feeling embarrassed that your boyfriend had to yet again reassure you of his love. It was always nice to hear, no matter how many times a day you heard it.

“You’re not stupid,” Masumi responded quickly, “I love you.”

“I love you, too.” The little pretty little smile that found its way to Masumi’s face made your heart feel like it was being squeezed again, you knew that smile as one only meant for you. “We should go on a date.”

✿ you were, to put it nicer than anyone else at the time bothered to, a disgraced actor who'd just moved away from your home country to japan in order to start over so to speak. mostly you were just in the middle of getting situated into a new country and living style.

✿ you were 18, and out of those years you'd been an actor for nine. sakuya and you had barely a year of age difference, with him being 17 at the time.

✿ you were in veludo way as you'd heard it was a good place to look for employement as an actor, when you came across a young man advertising try-outs for their company, mankai. you politely asked for one, which ended in sakuya staring at you in awe for a long time before you just awkwardly took one of the fliers and fled the scene.

✿ you showed up to the try-outs the next day, which didn't end up being a lot as you were given the position immediately by the eager looking director. sakuya finally introduced himself and the two of you were set to share a room together.

✿ sakuya was immediately in awe upon seeing you, i mean, you were famous! a talented actor who had years on him in the industry! and you were talking to him! after calming down from his fangirling, he actually came to appreciate your positive and cheerful disposition. you thought sakuya was sort of cute, if not a little overwhelming with his hero-worship. but once he managed to calm down, he made for good company and was eager to help you get settled down in your shared room.

✿ you were an aspiring actor, who despite your tremendous talent had thus far been rejected from every theatre company you'd tried out for. thankfully, a certain director happened to see one of your try-outs and scouted you to join her company.

✿ you were sixteen at the time, though you'd started your hobby of acting when you were just five years old to the delight of your mothers. masumi was also sixteen.

✿ you were brought to the mankai company doors by izumi, where she informed everyone that you'd be joining the spring troupe. masumi wasn't all too happy about the attention you were receiving from her, and after being informed that the two of you would be roommates proceeded to insult you and walk away.

✿ masumi pretty much ignored you from then on, even as you were moving to your shared room. you didn't really care, though you would've loved if he got off his ass long enough to pick up his own stuff from his side of the room. it's how he ended up with a book thrown at his face.

✿ masumi absolutely did not like you upon first meeting. you were far too pretty and izumi was already praising you, you were bound to take her away from him. the book incident most certainly didn't help his opinion of you either. you didn't pay any mind to masumi really, his opinions on you were his own problem. it wasn't until you actually had to start sharing a living space with him did you start getting even a bit annoyed with him and his habits.

✿ you were a set designer looking for work, as you'd just recently become the legal guardian of your three younger siblings and needed to support the three of you. so, you'd applied to work at the mankai company and somehow got roped into doing acting work as well.

✿ you were 20 years old, two years older than tsuzuru. you'd been working as a set designer to about a year at that point, which is probably why you needed to apply at such a small company.

✿ you were hired to design and help build the set for mankai company's first production, which is why you didn't get to meet the rest of the actors at first. it wasn't until izumi brought tsuzuru to see the set for some inspiration did you two meet and hit it off, which lead to the two of you being assigned roommates.

✿ you didn't really spend a lot of time in your room, on account of having to look after your siblings and being busy with the set, so most of the time you only saw tsuzuru and the rest during practice sessions.

✿ tsuzuru admired your work immensely upon first meeting, and came to admire you as a person when he found out about your family situation. you were so... so kind and caring, always hard at work, that he couldn't help but grow a bit of a crush immediately. you didn't have much of an opinion on tsuzuru upon your first meeting beyond him being easy to get along with, but after being placed as roommates you came to appreciate his kindness and dedication to taking care of people.

✿ you'd actually previously met in some online games you'd been playing while you had to be off your feet, but you didn't officially meet until you moved into the mankai dormitory after izumi recruited you to join the spring troupe. you were placed with itaru, to his initial annoyance.

✿ after moving into your shared room, you discovered itaru's "secret" and subsequently realized that you'd met before. after that whole debacle, itaru made it his life's mission to introduce you to as many games of his as possible.

✿ itaru was initially rather annoyed with your mere presence, but after realizing that you'd met before, playing games, he became much more amicable to your presence in his room. not to mention, you were hot as fuck. you didn't initially think much of itaru, until you figured out that they were your gaming buddy who'd been a great comfort to you during your recovery. after that your relationship skyrocketed in closeness, and your huge crush grew just behind.

✿ well, truth to be told, you were a princex of a certain country, but due to your status as second born you were allowed certain freedoms that you took advantage of by travelling and looking for your personal paradise in the world.

✿ you were 24, you'd been spending the last five years just travelling and seeing the world. citron was 22, having just recently arrived in japan.

✿ you were vaguely aware of citron's existence even prior to meeting him, which is why it was surprising to come across him on the veludo way while you were sightseeing. extremely curious, you went up to him to have a chat which lead to him (poorly) telling you about the mankai company which led you to wanting to check it out, and then absolutely falling in love with the place and joining the spring troupe.

✿ izumi was... surprised by your enthusiasm for joining, but accepted after seeing your talent and assigned you to room with citron. and let's just say that we don't talk about the disaster that is two members of royalty sharing a room.

✿ citron found you so interesting, with all your worldly stories and knowledge. even if some of your talks were... strange, your free-spirit more than made up for it. if only you would stay still for more than five minutes to have those talks. you thought citron was just the cutest thing ever, especially his rudimentary japanese. sure, you could talk to him in his native tongue, but what's the fun in that? besides, his drive to learn was just too adorable.

✿ you were a nurse working at the mankai company, though recently you'd also been recruited as an actor. while initially you'd started to work just for the free room, now you saw the company as your home and family.

✿ you were 26, the same age as chikage. you'd been working at the mankai company for a year at that point, and had been a registered nurse for three of those.

✿ you weren't around when chikage originally joined the troupe, as you were taking a supplementary medical classes in an another city. it wasn't until you were called back due to an injury to sakuya during practice that you actually met chikage, your new roommate. and to say that you didn't particularly like him at first was an understatement.

✿ you weren't particularly happy about having to share a room originally, especially not with chikage who you found... shady. so your initial days spent together were mostly in uncomfortable silence and several glares sent one way.

✿ chikage didn't originally have much of an opinion on you, as he mostly just heard about how nice you were from the other troupe members. but after meeting you, he found your suspicion of him to be rather amusing. you didn't trust him a single bit to start with, you found him to be incredibly shady and annoying. and it got only worse once he refused your medical check-ups, which you then made your life mission to get him to take.

but he's only good if izumi asked him to do it.

he wouldn't even look at my hair otherwise.

but in the case of izumi asking him to do it, he does a pretty good job.

he does all his research and everything.

i think he’d be perfect at some knotless braids.

i also think masumi is a bit of a perfectionist ( even more so when izumi asks him to do something ) so it’s gonna take FOREVER to get done.

he’s the type to restart the entire braid if it looks even slightly crooked.

not only that i feel like he would pop me with a comb if i move too much.

he's actually really gentle with my hair and tries not to pull too much lest he damage my hair.

he's also my go-to choice for help on wash day.

tsuzuru is so gentle and thorough with it that you woulda thought i got a new scalp by the time he's finished.

surprisingly ( actually surprisingly ) good at it.

you wouldn't think so, but he's a great option when it comes to doing my hair and my main hairdressers are not available.

he would be good at the slightly more complicated styles, but nothing too intricate or he will struggle.

citron's also really good at being gentle with my hair and not pulling too hard on it.

problem is he's very antsy and can't stay put for very long so it would take like a week to get some box braids done.

That meant your dorm was very very cold with no heat you decide to pull out the good old Christmas quilt that you had gotten as a gift awhile back it was quite large but you were still shivering. Your phone lit up with a text message it was from masumi! It read 'hey can I come over my power went out ps. Im already outside' you let out a small laugh and went to the front door to let him in "it's freezing in here too?" He asked slightly annoyed, You nod "yeah I believe it's out for the whole dorm" you sat back down on the couch he sat beside you "well don't be a blanket hog y/n" with that he grabbed the quilt and sat pressed up against you you had to admit you it was much warmer this way. So you sat snuggled up together chatting about random things you remembered it was almost Christmas any day now! "Sooo what are you hoping to get for Christmas masui?" He thought for a moment with a sly smile he said "well out of anything I guess the thing I want the most is you~"

Sakuya

Sakuya’s embraces are always so warm and full of love, his eyes sparkle when you let him know that you just want to even be close to him. 

If you’re feeling sleepy, he’ll start reading over his lines for an upcoming play softly while you lazily play with his hair. 

He does tend to ask questions while you guys are keeping each other company. Asking if he’s hugging you too tight, if where his hands are currently are okay, if you’re too warm, too cold, etc etc.. 

It’s the sweetest sentiment but to calm his nerves planting a kiss on his cheek will immediately stop him in his nervous tracks, burying his face in the back of your shirt in embarrassment. 

Sakuya for the most part likes to be the big spoon, hands interlaced with yours while you face away or towards him. 

Sakuya’s pretty shy about being the little spoon, as he gets flustered but feels immensely loved and cared for if he is. 

Masumi

Masumi is very protective of you while the two of your are in each other’s presence, it only accelerates if you two were to be in each others arms. 

He always makes sure your close to him, that you fall asleep first so he can admire you in a constant light.

Constantly twirling his fingers softly through your hair, gently pushing stray strands behind your ear to get a better look at the face he loves so much.

Masumi loves showering you in compliments when you two are this close, whispering to you how much he appreciates you and loves you, his words making you flush in embarrassment.

Besides that, he’s not much of a talker while cuddling, instead it’s comfortably peaceful and quiet with him. The small actions that Masumi does, like pulling you in closer or pressing tiny gentle kisses across your face is how Masumi enjoys this tranquil moment with you.

He shoots death glares at anyone making a noise near you incase you wake up from it. Keeping your peace is his #1 priority.

If you wake up before him he most likely has a tight but comfy grip on you even in his sleep. His arms snug at your waist and face buried in your shirt.

Mumbles “five more minutes” half awake and hugs you tighter. If you had somewhere to be, you definitely don’t now.

Tsuzuru

Tsuzuru, although deathly tired, will always somehow be awake much later than you could no matter how messed up your sleep schedule is. 

He’d apologize for not being able to spend enough time with you being swamped in work by making you a cup of coffee or tea when you wake up. He’d know how much a warm cup of caffeine would be godsend to him.

If you show up to his room at 2 AM he’ll beg you to go to sleep, being the biggest hypocrite in the world in that moment. 

He promised that he’d stay with you for the time being and then get back to work, but exhaustion would get the best of him as he falls asleep against you. 

Before then, he’d fight it through small talk, but once he starts descending into cutesy compliments and pet names he’d never say wide awake to you, he’s out mere seconds later.

But during the day, the poor sleep deprived boy will not hesitate to take a cat nap while curling up next to you. 

Wordlessly he keeps you in his arms and rests his head at the crook of your neck. So close his breath tickles your skin.

He doesn’t mind. Relaxation is easy for him when it comes to you.

He’s almost immovable when he’s unconscious and your arms will probably go numb cuddling with him during the day. It would take a literal bulldozer to pry him off of you. 

Citron

Citron physically dives into your arms, giving you a deathly tight squeeze, excited to be in the same space as you. 

Citron enjoys holding you on the couch while you lay on top of him, his hand on the small of your back and letting your rest on his chest. 

He hums constantly in excitement of the time he’s spending with you.

But please don’t let him fall asleep. He is an absolute menace and will sprawl over you, taking up all of the space while snoring loudly.

Citron loves talking to you while you two are this close. Often giving you a small massage while asking you how your day’s going excitingly, wondering if you had done anything new to your hair or a new skincare regimen, his hands trailing around your head and face while asking. 

Most importantly, he’s an amazing listener!

He loves this especially when you two haven’t seen each other for so long, these moments he will find difficult to have to part again when needed. Even if it’s to go to the kitchen and find a snack or drink, his touch will tend to linger. 

Itaru

“Itaru can you please come to bed with me” “Not now Y/N the boys online need me” “ITARU-”

Although this man is genuinely never near a bed, he still makes room for you to snuggle up against him while he’s playing any sort of video game.

It gives him control to not completely rage while you cuddle up next to him, asleep or not, he has a bit of restraint around you when you look so peaceful.

Loves to cuddle up next to you while watching a movie, with tons of food and drink on the table in front of you both.

His arm around your shoulders as you lean your head against him.

Itaru definitely spoils you a little when it comes to these intimate moments. Swallowed under blankets and pillows and snacking on your favorite foods with a movie you both enjoy.

It’s impossible to not fall asleep within the first couple of minutes. Itaru loses all focus when he sees you sound asleep, completely forgetting about the movie, the food getting cold and the drinks warm. At this moment you’re the only thing that matters to him.

Chikage

He would definitely tease you at first of the idea of wanting to cuddle, but give into any sort of request you had in mind regardless. 

“Well, whatever helps you sleep at night” “Really? That’s what you need? Alright then, come here”

Such a filthy liar about only holding you for your benefit, and it shows in his body language.

Chikage’s constantly tending to you, his fingers trace gently down your arms, eyes locked on you watching your reaction and every move. Any sort of hint of negativity he’ll switch what he’s currently doing.

But when you smile at home, it was insanely difficult to hold in his satisfaction.

He’d rather die than to admit he wants to receive your affection either, so in a way this sort of doting is almost a diversion.

Yet he fell weak to your warm embrace either way. He let his guard down the closer you got to him.

Clasping his hands between yours, planting a small kiss at his fingertips, it made him so embarrassingly weak.

Any form of affection that you gave him seemed to come by surprise. It was a pleasant one, nonetheless, and he made sure to cherish it.

...kisses you in private, often for special occasions. His kisses are shy, yet full of joy and adoration for you. He gives you a feather light peck as a thanks for every little thing you do for him, and giggles shyly whenever you give him one in return. He only ever kisses you on the lips with your permission, and when he does, it's sweet and innocent, often lingering for about 3 seconds before he backs up again. Which gives you the opportunity to gaze at his rosy cheeks, while listening to his loving laugh.

Masumi Usui...

...kisses you whenever, wherever, however you want. He wants you to enjoy it as much as he does whenever his lips meet your skin, he is satisfied as long as he gets to kiss you. He absolutely loves long kisses. Pecks aren't on the table if you don't say you like them. His kisses always linger for a few seconds and go as deep as you allow them. The sound of lips seperating from the place they kissed sends an additional shiver run up and down his spine, makes him want more. He melts when being on the recieving end of your kiss, no matter where you kiss him. He swears, with every kiss he loves you even more.

Tsuzuru Minagi...

...kisses you in a more casual manner. He likes giving you a quick one on your head whenever you spend some time together alone. He appreciates recieving forehead kisses when he's sensing a headache from late night script writing coming up. The kiss might not magic the pain or fatigue, but it certainly lifts his spirits. He gets incredibly embarrassed by kisses when the other Mankai Company members are around, though. He once thought you were alone when he rushed over and gave you a quick kiss goodbye on your lips, turning around in horror when he heard Kazunari whistle behind him.

Itaru Chigasaki...

...kisses you for a few other reasons besides showing affection; distracting you from the game you're playing against him, to butter you up for a favor, good luck for gacha pulls...He likes to tease you when he notices you want to kiss him, maybe even make you 'go on a quest to get one as a reward'. He will end up giving you a lot of apology kisses because you know how to get back to him, all while quietly laughing into the kisses. His kisses overall are in a good middle point; not very long, but not very short, not very deep, but not very light either. Only in sentimental, in quiet moments, he takes his time to really appreciate the feeling of your skin, the feeling of your lips. He would cringe if someone would ever actually say it out loud, but he could kiss you all night long.

Citron...

...kisses you multiple times, and with much energy and joy. He loves kissing you, especially when he catches you off guard doing it. And one kiss is hardly enough, he will always go in for another few quick pecks, sometimes moving from your lips to your cheek, to your neck to leave another few smooches there, loving the way you giggle at the ticklish sensation. He is not being a show off whenever he gives you a lot of kisses in public, he just really doesn't care when people see. Also, he doesn't like not being able to kiss you when he wants to. He begs you for kisses when he feels especially needy by wrapping his arms around you and puckering his lips, while repeating, "Gimme kiss! Gimme kiss!", over and over until you give in.

🌸He practically became a puddle in your hands, his weight sinking into your hold until he felt that his tears were almost dry.

🌸Sakuya took a deep breath, then finally spoke.

🌸“It’s just… I’ve never felt this way before. So…loved. I feel so cared for. I have the troupe, of course, and they do so much for me, and I appreciate it, I really do, but being held like this, getting showered in so much love and affection, it’s not something I’m used to. It’s not something I ever was really able to have. That all just hit me right now, so you don’t need to worry, okay? I’m just really happy. And a crybaby.” He finished with a giggle.

🌸He had told you about his past and all that, but you never realized that such simple actions you did practically on instinct meant so much to him.

🌸All you could muster as a reply was “Can I hug you again?”

🌸Sakuya simply nodded, and you could notice a few small tears well up in his eyes.

🌸You wrapped your arms around him, leaning your face into his shoulder, nestling it into the crook of his neck. Sakuya returned the gesture by holding you just as tightly, resting his own head on top of yours.

🌸You both decided to stay there for a bit, and you felt the small tears from his eyes make their way down his cheek and reach the top of your head.

🌸You sighed, noticing the sounds of Sakuya’s breathing start to become more steady, and you finally smiled.

🌸This boy meant so much to you, and the thought that you meant just as much to him was satisfying.

🌸You found your way out of Sakuya’s arms to hold his hands, giving him a reassuring smile.

🌸“Come on, let’s go get those drinks before people start to think that what we were doing was a street act.”

🌸He only laughed before replying with a sigh and a simple “Yeah.”

Masumi!

🎧He’s the type to simply relish in your happiness from afar, so a lot of his displays of affection come in the form of small gifts and taking you to places he knows you’ll enjoy.

🎧Which is absolutely heart-melting, but it’s when you touch him that he really gets excited.

🎧For example, on your first date, you decided to go to a small music festival, and on your walk there, you decided to casually grab his hand as you talked.

🎧You didn’t mind touching him, and small acts of affection were always the norm for you, but to Masumi, it was an entirely different story.

🎧This person he’s always liked and cared for and adored likes him back.

🎧You didn’t even say anything about liking him back, but such a small act of affection told him how much you cared for him.

🎧You swung your clasped hands back and forth as you rambled about something that happened to you recently, almost skipping ahead of the wide-eyed boy.

🎧“…right, Masumi?” You finished, turning to him for confirmation.

🎧It took you a moment to register his expression.

🎧His eyes were almost soulless and his jaw was practically on the floor. He looked as if he was only there physically, and he had emotionally left the vicinity.

🎧Masumi’s head was practically racing with thoughts.

🎧Oh my god this is real. They like me. He simply melted into your touch, and he didn’t even think about his expression as he stared at your hands blankly.

🎧It was only when you asked for his response that he snapped out of his daze.

🎧“Mmhm…yeah…” he mumbled, looking down, his face a slowly deepening shade of red.

🎧You grinned at his surprisingly cute response, then slowed your pace a bit to match his.

🎧With you this close to him, you really wouldn’t expect Masumi of all people to be a blushing mess.

🎧His face was never towards you, but you could always see the tinge of red on his ears and notice the way his hand kept adjusting in yours.

🎧It was honestly so different that you couldn’t help but bask in his bashfulness, further encouraging it by inching your face towards his with every step you took.

🎧And by the time you made it to where you could touch his face with your own, you gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

🎧Masumi finally turned towards you, his eyes wide. Never in his life would he have thought that you’d fully return his affections.

🎧“Hm? Massu, you okay—mmph!” You only wanted to see if you had upset him or crossed a boundary, but you were met by Masumi tackling you into a big hug.

🎧He held you against him, his arms fully crossing your back, his fingertips barely reaching the front side of your belly. His head was in between your neck and your left shoulder, his eyes closed.

🎧“I love you so, so much. I always have and I always will. Let me devote myself to you.”

🎧“Woah, slow down there. I love you too.” You managed to get out with a chuckle, patting his back.

🎧In the end, you had to practically pry him off of you, and his eyes wouldn’t leave you for the rest of the date.
