I think of writing a hakuouki fanfic in which Kazama takes Chizuru forcefully with himself in one of the routes, and then Chizuru has a child.
But some time later, Chizuru decides to escape with her child.
I'm already writing a fanfic in which Kazama had forced Chizuru to come with him in Saitou's route. He doesn't hurt her at all but well,... she doesn't trust him.
Now I'm thinking of writing another one with a similar plot but with a child in it, too.

rating the a3! boys on how well they would do my hair ( spring edition )
Tumblr media
i first did this on my mcl account ( @rico-the-nicoo ) for the hsl boys and now im doing it for my a3! boys. reminder my hair is type 4C so im gonna format it as if they are learning how to do my hair
cw; hair i guess?
Tumblr media
sakuya sakuma
3/10
precious baby sweetie pie boy honey bun sugar plum-
he would suck at doing my hair im sorry-
like he would try his best
does his research and everything
but he just sucks at it.
but he's so passionate about doing it right
so ill keep letting him do it because i don't wanna see my son sad 😥.
masumi usui
7/10
surprisingly ( not that surprisingly ) good at.
but he's only good if izumi asked him to do it.
he wouldn't even look at my hair otherwise.
but in the case of izumi asking him to do it, he does a pretty good job.
he does all his research and everything.
i think he’d be perfect at some knotless braids.
i also think masumi is a bit of a perfectionist ( even more so when izumi asks him to do something ) so it’s gonna take FOREVER to get done.
he’s the type to restart the entire braid if it looks even slightly crooked.
not only that i feel like he would pop me with a comb if i move too much.
tsuzuru minagi
5/10
he’d definitely be better at simpler styles ( like a twist out or something similar ).
can not figure out cornrows or any sort of braiding to the scalp for the life of him.
( he like me fr. )
he's actually really gentle with my hair and tries not to pull too much lest he damage my hair.
he's also my go-to choice for help on wash day.
tsuzuru is so gentle and thorough with it that you woulda thought i got a new scalp by the time he's finished.
itaru chigasaki
4/10
i would only go to him if i was desperate pt 1.
that man is not touching my hair at all.
itaru's problem is that he doesn't know what the hell he's doing.
it doesn't matter how many times you tell him how to do it or how many times he looks it up, he just doesn't get it.
which is fine by him, he hates doing my hair.
if he can't get it done in under five minutes, he ain't doing it.
citron
6/10
surprisingly ( actually surprisingly ) good at it.
you wouldn't think so, but he's a great option when it comes to doing my hair and my main hairdressers are not available.
he would be good at the slightly more complicated styles, but nothing too intricate or he will struggle.
citron's also really good at being gentle with my hair and not pulling too hard on it.
problem is he's very antsy and can't stay put for very long so it would take like a week to get some box braids done.
chikage utsuki
no/10
no.
no no no no no.
absolutely not.
the idea of chikage being in the same vicinity as my hair is enough to want to shave everything off.
love him though.

⚜ FIRST MEETING [A3! - SPRING TROUPE] ⚜
┌── ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ••✎•• ──────────
characters: sakuya sakuma | masumi usui | tsuzuru minagi | itaru chigasaki | citron | chikage utsuki summary: the details of your first meeting with your future mate. warnings: references to injury rating: sfw a/n: this was a different experience to write after all the supernatural nonsense of arcana and obey me, really not sure if this is as exciting as those ones, but y'know, sometimes a bit of a chill pill is a good thing.
~🎕
└── ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ••✎•• ──────────
Tumblr media
≿━━━━༺❀ sakuya sakuma ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were, to put it nicer than anyone else at the time bothered to, a disgraced actor who'd just moved away from your home country to japan in order to start over so to speak. mostly you were just in the middle of getting situated into a new country and living style.
✿ you were 18, and out of those years you'd been an actor for nine. sakuya and you had barely a year of age difference, with him being 17 at the time.
✿ you were in veludo way as you'd heard it was a good place to look for employement as an actor, when you came across a young man advertising try-outs for their company, mankai. you politely asked for one, which ended in sakuya staring at you in awe for a long time before you just awkwardly took one of the fliers and fled the scene.
✿ you showed up to the try-outs the next day, which didn't end up being a lot as you were given the position immediately by the eager looking director. sakuya finally introduced himself and the two of you were set to share a room together.
✿ sakuya was immediately in awe upon seeing you, i mean, you were famous! a talented actor who had years on him in the industry! and you were talking to him! after calming down from his fangirling, he actually came to appreciate your positive and cheerful disposition. you thought sakuya was sort of cute, if not a little overwhelming with his hero-worship. but once he managed to calm down, he made for good company and was eager to help you get settled down in your shared room.
≿━━━━༺❀ masumi usui ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were an aspiring actor, who despite your tremendous talent had thus far been rejected from every theatre company you'd tried out for. thankfully, a certain director happened to see one of your try-outs and scouted you to join her company.
✿ you were sixteen at the time, though you'd started your hobby of acting when you were just five years old to the delight of your mothers. masumi was also sixteen.
✿ you were brought to the mankai company doors by izumi, where she informed everyone that you'd be joining the spring troupe. masumi wasn't all too happy about the attention you were receiving from her, and after being informed that the two of you would be roommates proceeded to insult you and walk away.
✿ masumi pretty much ignored you from then on, even as you were moving to your shared room. you didn't really care, though you would've loved if he got off his ass long enough to pick up his own stuff from his side of the room. it's how he ended up with a book thrown at his face.
✿ masumi absolutely did not like you upon first meeting. you were far too pretty and izumi was already praising you, you were bound to take her away from him. the book incident most certainly didn't help his opinion of you either. you didn't pay any mind to masumi really, his opinions on you were his own problem. it wasn't until you actually had to start sharing a living space with him did you start getting even a bit annoyed with him and his habits.
≿━━━━༺❀ tsuzuru minagi ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were a set designer looking for work, as you'd just recently become the legal guardian of your three younger siblings and needed to support the three of you. so, you'd applied to work at the mankai company and somehow got roped into doing acting work as well.
✿ you were 20 years old, two years older than tsuzuru. you'd been working as a set designer to about a year at that point, which is probably why you needed to apply at such a small company.
✿ you were hired to design and help build the set for mankai company's first production, which is why you didn't get to meet the rest of the actors at first. it wasn't until izumi brought tsuzuru to see the set for some inspiration did you two meet and hit it off, which lead to the two of you being assigned roommates.
✿ you didn't really spend a lot of time in your room, on account of having to look after your siblings and being busy with the set, so most of the time you only saw tsuzuru and the rest during practice sessions.
✿ tsuzuru admired your work immensely upon first meeting, and came to admire you as a person when he found out about your family situation. you were so... so kind and caring, always hard at work, that he couldn't help but grow a bit of a crush immediately. you didn't have much of an opinion on tsuzuru upon your first meeting beyond him being easy to get along with, but after being placed as roommates you came to appreciate his kindness and dedication to taking care of people.
≿━━━━༺❀ itaru chigasaki ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were recovering from a career ending injury that you had sustained while swimming in the ocean. having previously been a professional swimmer, you were still looking for what you wanted to do next and acting seemed like a good fit.
✿ you were 24, at the peak of your career just before it was all over. you'd been in recovery for about four months at that point. itaru was 23.
✿ you'd actually previously met in some online games you'd been playing while you had to be off your feet, but you didn't officially meet until you moved into the mankai dormitory after izumi recruited you to join the spring troupe. you were placed with itaru, to his initial annoyance.
✿ after moving into your shared room, you discovered itaru's "secret" and subsequently realized that you'd met before. after that whole debacle, itaru made it his life's mission to introduce you to as many games of his as possible.
✿ itaru was initially rather annoyed with your mere presence, but after realizing that you'd met before, playing games, he became much more amicable to your presence in his room. not to mention, you were hot as fuck. you didn't initially think much of itaru, until you figured out that they were your gaming buddy who'd been a great comfort to you during your recovery. after that your relationship skyrocketed in closeness, and your huge crush grew just behind.
≿━━━━༺❀ citron ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ well, truth to be told, you were a princex of a certain country, but due to your status as second born you were allowed certain freedoms that you took advantage of by travelling and looking for your personal paradise in the world.
✿ you were 24, you'd been spending the last five years just travelling and seeing the world. citron was 22, having just recently arrived in japan.
✿ you were vaguely aware of citron's existence even prior to meeting him, which is why it was surprising to come across him on the veludo way while you were sightseeing. extremely curious, you went up to him to have a chat which lead to him (poorly) telling you about the mankai company which led you to wanting to check it out, and then absolutely falling in love with the place and joining the spring troupe.
✿ izumi was... surprised by your enthusiasm for joining, but accepted after seeing your talent and assigned you to room with citron. and let's just say that we don't talk about the disaster that is two members of royalty sharing a room.
✿ citron found you so interesting, with all your worldly stories and knowledge. even if some of your talks were... strange, your free-spirit more than made up for it. if only you would stay still for more than five minutes to have those talks. you thought citron was just the cutest thing ever, especially his rudimentary japanese. sure, you could talk to him in his native tongue, but what's the fun in that? besides, his drive to learn was just too adorable.
≿━━━━༺❀ chikage utsuki ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were a nurse working at the mankai company, though recently you'd also been recruited as an actor. while initially you'd started to work just for the free room, now you saw the company as your home and family.
✿ you were 26, the same age as chikage. you'd been working at the mankai company for a year at that point, and had been a registered nurse for three of those.
✿ you weren't around when chikage originally joined the troupe, as you were taking a supplementary medical classes in an another city. it wasn't until you were called back due to an injury to sakuya during practice that you actually met chikage, your new roommate. and to say that you didn't particularly like him at first was an understatement.
✿ you weren't particularly happy about having to share a room originally, especially not with chikage who you found... shady. so your initial days spent together were mostly in uncomfortable silence and several glares sent one way.
✿ chikage didn't originally have much of an opinion on you, as he mostly just heard about how nice you were from the other troupe members. but after meeting you, he found your suspicion of him to be rather amusing. you didn't trust him a single bit to start with, you found him to be incredibly shady and annoying. and it got only worse once he refused your medical check-ups, which you then made your life mission to get him to take.

hi :) i had a bad day, a few days ago there was some problem in my family. can you write omi, tsumugi, chikage (if you feel like just one of them that's also ok) comforting their s/o who has run away from home due to family problems? thank you
Hello!! That seems terrible, and I hope your situation gets better :(. In the meantime, I hope you can find comfort in my writing, and I’m actually honored you’d come to me with such a personal request. So, with everything I’ve got, please enjoy these!!
Request rules
Omi
📷It was just a hard day for you. You wanted nothing more than to just relax a bit in a space away from it all. Away from all the people who had hurt you.
📷 For you, that meant holing up in your room with a video game. Not that it did you any good.
📷The tears still flowed, the pain in your chest didn’t go away, and you still wanted an escape.
📷That was, until there was a knock at the door.
📷”Hey, you’ve been in there for a while. You okay?”
📷A familiar voice rang through the door. Omi’s, to be precise.
📷The second you heard it, you tried to clean yourself up a bit before answering.
📷”’M fine.”
📷”Mind if I come in?” He asked gently, noticing the tone of your voice.
📷”Go ahead.”
📷When he entered, he found a wet, crinkled mess of a person.
📷”Oh.” Omi’s voice softened along with his expression as he shut the door and made his way over to you.
📷”Did something happen?”
📷You shook your head, hesitated, contemplating, then nodded.
📷”Wanna talk about it?”
📷”I guess. Just some issues that led me here are coming up again. It’s a long story.”
📷”I can settle in.”
📷And so you tearfully recounted your tale as Omi rubbed your back, not saying a word.
📷After a while, all he could come up with was “I see.”
📷There was a bit more silence before he spoke again.
📷”I can’t say I know exactly what you went through, but I had a similar experience when my mom died. The family fell apart, leaving me in charge, and running away led me down a pretty dark path. Hell, I lost my best friend down there. But I found my way here. And it’s all I could have ever hoped for. So, I hope you’ll find that place too, if you haven’t already. Either way, I’ll be there the whole time. No matter what. I’ve got you, and all I want is your safety.”
📷His sentiment was sweet, even for one who didn’t bother with flowery language much.
📷And yet, it made the already overflowing emotions run even more rampant, leading him to hold you close.
📷”I’ve got you. You won’t have to worry anymore. I promise.”
📷No matter what he did, he wanted you to feel safe, even if just for a bit.
📷And you couldn’t be any more grateful.
Tsumugi
🥚After moving in with Tsumugi, you finally decide to reveal something huge to him about your situation.
🥚Through tears and stammers, you somehow manage to explain why you ultimately rushed moving in with him.
🥚During your entire speech, he made sure to keep quiet, allowing you to get all of your words out, no matter how hard it was.
🥚Once he was entirely sure you were finished talking, he finally spoke up in the softest voice he could muster.
🥚”Though I can’t say I know what that’s like, I do want to let you know that I’m here for you, no matter what. I’ll do anything I can to help you, whether that be resolution or avoidance, just let me know what’s safer. But for now, let’s not focus on that. Let’s just sit here for a bit, okay? We don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. Is it alright if I touch you?”
🥚You nod, and he pulls you into a hug.
🥚”There we go. You mind if I stroke your hair?”
🥚Another nod.
🥚”Alright. Just know you’re not alone anymore, alright? I’ll always be here, and even when it seems like nobody’s on your side, I am. You don’t deserve to be alone.”
🥚Somehow, his words made your tears flow even more, and you buried your head into his shoulder.
🥚Tsumugi made a sort of “aw” noise as he felt your body shake in his arms before murmuring sweet affirmations against the top of your head until you cried yourself to sleep.
🥚But just before you could fall asleep, he gave you a soft kiss to the forehead.
🥚”I love you. And don’t worry, I’ll be here whenever you need me.”
Chikage
🌶️”You know, we’ve never talked about how you joined the company, Chikage,” was what you decided to bring up in the Mankai dorm’s common room after an exhausting practice.
🌶️”How I joined? I used the process the rest of the company did: ask, audition, join. Why are you so curious all of a sudden?”
🌶️”Mm. Just thinking about it.”
🌶️”Well,” he replied with a sly smile, “How about I flip the question right back at you? How did you join?”
🌶️”Same process.”
🌶️”Why did you join, then? Why here?” Chikage asked, sitting beside you, hoping to toy with you a bit.
🌶️The intention didn’t quite reach, however.
🌶️It was as if the question was a gunshot.
🌶️Tears quickly pricked your eyes, and your voice became choppy.
🌶️After finding your words, you explained why and how you ran away only to find this place before your body crumpled against the couch.
🌶️Chikage’s demeanor immediately changed. His eyes widened a bit, and it was as if some sort of mask had slipped. He was hit with a flood of memories and a sense of kinship.
🌶️He remained silent for a bit before finally speaking up, eyes focused on his hands held on his knees.
🌶️”I did the same thing, you know. Not that this was the first place it led me. It actually led me to a pretty dangerous place at first. There, I found a family, then lost it. It broke me, but it led me here, and, despite what I did when I first came here, I found a home and a family. Listen, what I’m trying to say here is that,” he sighs, finally looking over at you, his expression having lost all signs of deception, “I hope that happens to you too. You’ll be happy and safe by the end of this alright?”
🌶️And for the first time since you’d met him, his smile wasn’t fake.
🌶️You finally looked up at him, and, though blurry, he looked so strangely serene in that moment.
🌶️Though you felt it may have been a bad idea, you draped your arms around him to place your head into the crook of his neck, your body shaking as you cried.
🌶️Hesitantly, he returned the action, awkwardly hugging you.
🌶️”You’ll be safe. I’ll make sure of it.”
🌶️You know he’s serious, right? Like he’ll probably commit crimes to make sure you’re safe.

Lavender for Royalty; Sage for Wisdom (Book 1) Chapter Twelve
Kyoya Ootori x Reader
Chapter Twelve: Arborvitae for Friendship
Summary: The Host Club collaborates with the Newspaper Club.
Attention: I will be going on a brief hiatus until the 22nd of January due to being abroad. I hope you guys have a great January!
“The cherry blossoms are so beautiful,” sighed (Y/N)’s guest.
“I love this color pink. It’s so sad they’re not around all year,” said another girl.
“Cherry blossoms are symbols of rebirth and new beginnings,” said (Y/N). “The fact they appear only once a year makes that special. It reminds you that every day is a new start.”
The girls sighed dreamily. “So romantic…”
            “Haruhi, duck!”
Everyone looked over at Tamaki. He jumped through the air and pulled Haruhi to the side as a ball rocketed past her head—kicked, of course, by the twins.
“You idiots!” said Tamaki. “You almost extinguished the flame that is Haruhi’s life!”
Haruhi groaned from where she lay on the ground. (Y/N) knelt and helped her up.
“My life is already in danger,” she huffed.
“Boss, it’s your fault for not catching it,” said the twins, shrugging. “It’s disgraceful that the Hikaru Genji of Ouran can’t play ball properly.”
“Come again? Then try stopping this!” Tamaki wound up his leg. “Starlight Kick!”
He kicked the ball, and it shot up into the air. Everyone’s jaws dropped open. It was so fast. …And so of course.
“Farewell!” said the twins, waving as the ball disappeared over the trees.
            Crash!
Kyoya sighed. (Y/N) winced. Haruhi groaned.
            “Oops…” said Tamaki.
l
I’m sorry! Please accept my sincerest apologies!” said Tamaki, bowing to the newspaper club.
The president, third year Akira Komatsuzawa, winced at his words. Chikage Ukyou and Tomochika Sakyou stood on either side of him.
“Oh, it’s okay,” lied Akira. “It was only a window that shattered and my head that received a direct hit.” He had a nasty bump and a giant icepack on his head. “But it was good timing. We were hoping that the Host Club would allow us an interview.”
“I didn’t know there was a newspaper club,” said Haruhi, frowning.
“They only produce this—” Hikaru and Kaoru picked up a paper. “The so-called OU-Spot. It’s a tabloid that exaggerates love affairs between students, class divisions due to family rivalries, and so on. Their fabrications have gotten so wild that no one reads it anymore.”
“It’s just a gossip rag,” said (Y/N), nodding.
“Sure…in our quest for readership, we lost sight of the truth,” said Akira, sighing. “But with the imminent closure of our club, our eyes were opened. Please lend us your aid! For the spring special, we’d like to reveal the truth about your charm in ‘In the Footsteps of the Host Club; 24/7!’ ”
“Really?” Tamaki’s eyes widened. “You mean it? You want to capture how I corner violent criminals and reveal my daily efforts in stopping criminal activities?”
Akira frowned. “What? It has nothing to do with ‘Police 24 Hours.’ ”
“We accept your request!” said Tamaki.
“No, we don’t,” said Kyoya, pulling Tamaki back with a cold smile.
“Kyoya, you don’t know how touching that show is!” whined Tamaki. “Besides, it was my fault he got hurt!”
“I’m sorry, but our information is restricted to customers only,” said Kyoya.
“Don’t worry. You won’t incur any medical costs. The Boss’ll pay for it,” said the twins to Akira.
“Tamaki, we’re not contributing to a newspaper that makes up scandals for it’s own gain,” said (Y/N), hands on their hips.
“We can’t erase our past mistakes after all,” said Akira, “swaying” and nearly collapsing from his wound. “I regret that we must shut down our club…”
“That’s not true!” said Tamaki. “People can always get a second chance! Alright, leave it to me! The Host Club will go all out and help rebuild the Newspaper Club!”
“No way,” said Hikaru and Kaoru.
            “We’re not,” said (Y/N).
            “What?!” said Tamaki.
“If we went along with all your altruistic endeavors, there’d be no end to it,” said Hikaru, shrugging.
“It’s tiresome. Let’s go,” said Kaoru.
“Tamaki, we’re not discussing this anymore,” said (Y/N).
“Come on, Tamaki. Back to the clubroom,” said Kyoya.
“Don’t you guy have a heart?! They’re shutting down! Their family is breaking up!” Tamaki huffed. “This is a presidential mandate. You can’t refuse!”
“We refuse,” said the twins. (Y/N) and Kyoya still had their arms crossed.
l
“He’s upset,” said Kaoru. “He’s still in costume.”
“It’s just like the way kids give each other the silent treatment,” said Kyoya.
            “Pouting,” agreed (Y/N).
“That’s because Tamaki hates to be alone,” said Honey.
“Someone should tell him he looks stupid,” said Hikaru.
“Is it that wrong to help out the Newspaper Club?” said Haruhi, tilting her head.
“Haruhi, that’s odd—you’re taking the boss’s side?” said Hikaru and Kaoru.
“No, but…” Haruhi sighed. “If we leave him alone, I have a feeling he’ll eventually start looking at us like a puppy, and we’ll be forced to give in. It’s strange, but I know it for sure…”
            (Y/N) grimaced. “You’re not wrong.”
“I thought you two would’ve gone for it,” said Haruhi, looking at the twins.
“This time it felt tiresome. Boring. Been there, done that,” said the twins.
            “Honey, Mori?” said Haruhi.
Mori didn’t reply, and Honey grinned. “I’m eating cake!”
            “(Y/N)?” said Haruhi.
“I don’t like people prying into my life,” said (Y/N).
            Haruhi sighed.
And then Tamaki looked over with big giant puppy eyes. Everyone winced. He looked back, eyes even bigger than before. Everyone groaned. He looked over a third time, and Kyoya snapped his notebook closed in frustration.
“There will be conditions,” said Kyoya. Tamaki brightened like a dog, and Kyoya went forward. “We will provide a plan for the special feature. And the interview is forbidden. Customers must not be bothered, so the service scene is out.”
(Y/N)’s shoulders dropped. They were still suspicious of the newspaper club, but at least boundaries would protect from prying.
            “Got it, everyone?” said Kyoya.
            (Y/N) nodded. “Sounds fair.”
“If Kyoya says so, we’ll go along,” said the Hitachiins.
            “Okay!” said Honey. Mori nodded.
“Right! Let’s start planning now!” Tamaki had already returned to his confident, happy self.
l
“Tamaki Suoh must have established the club to show off his power to the other students,” said Akira as he planned (plotted).
“But the students hardly ever complain,” said Chikage.
“Female students keep their mouths shut. Male students who know Suoh are evasive,” said Tomochika.
“You’ve seen it yourself,” said Akira. “He pretends to be a nice and sweet idiot. Tamaki Suoh…I wager he’s an exceptionally shrewd man. I’m betting he has a dark side!”
“So are we only paying attention to him?” said Chikage.
“No, we need more than that…We need him to have brought in more bad influences to Ouran,” said Akira, narrowing his eyes. “Like the scholarship students. Undoubtedly, he forced the first-year to join. And the second year? They’re suspicious. They’re rapidly climbing the ranks of power…That shouldn’t be possible for a commoner. We’ll find out what’s truly going on with this Host Club, get a great scoop, and show this school the power of the Newspaper Club!”
l
“Greeeenlight, redlight!” Tamaki whirled from the tree, but the Hosts were still and weren’t still approaching. He hadn’t caught them. “Greenlight, redlight! Greenlightredlight!” Each time, the twins were posed differently.
The newspaper club watched in shock. This was…a children’s game. They were expecting something more refined at the very least.
“It’s no wonder you’re surprised,” said Tamaki, smiling at the other club. “This is a traditional game of the common folk. There are many other fun games commoners play without spending a dime.”
“I see…” said Akira doubtfully. “But what has it got to do with our article?”
“Friendliness!” said Tamaki with force. “Friendliness is critical for wiping away the newspaper’s club negative image and gaining back the readers! According to our calculations, it will work. ‘Handsome Hosts Play a Commoner Game!’ An outdoor game will let you capture the image of spring in the background. It’s so elegant—perfect for a front-page article! It will be the perfect event!” Happily, Tamaki returned to the game and promptly “spotted Kyoya moving.”
“You’re Fujioka, right?” Akira walked towards Haruhi, who looked at him in surprise. “Why did you join the club?”
“On account of my own carelessness,” said Haruhi.
“Oh?” Akira leaned forward in interest.
“Haruhi, focus on the game,” said (Y/N), moving while Tamaki wasn’t looking and pushing Haruhi away from Akira. They smiled “politely” at Akira. “Apologies, no interviews, remember?”
“We need some background for the piece,” said Akira, gritting his teeth. “For instance, why did you join the club?”
“It sounded interesting,” said (Y/N), barely paying attention to him.
“Yes, but it’s helped your status, hasn’t it? As a commoner, being relationships with the powerful is important. Is that what you get out of this?” Akira leaned in. “Gold-digging for connections?”
(Y/N) narrowed their eyes ever-so-slightly. At Tamaki’s side, “out” of the game, Kyoya raised a brow as he saw Akira speaking to them. He looked at the twins and nodded. It was time for their plan to be put into action.
“Hide and seek time!” said the twins, jumping between Akira and (Y/N).
“We didn’t finish the game!” said Tamaki.
“We’re bored, Haruhi, hide with us,” said Hikaru and Kaoru, grabbing Haruhi’s arms.
“Hey!” Tamaki ran to them, grabbed Haruhi’s hand, and pulled her away. “Hide with me!”
“I’ll count!” said Honey cheerfully, and, while the rest of the hosts pretended to hide, the newspaper club stormed away. Little did they know where the club had gone to hide.
l
“This is ridiculous!” said Akira as he stormed through the halls of Ouran Academy. “We can’t participate in this farce! Let’s go back to our clubroom and finish the article!”
“But, President,” said Chikage. “Writing a gossip column on Suoh without proof—”
“Even if we don’t have proof now, all we have to do is write an article that forces his hand,” snapped Akira. “I went out of my way to get that ball and fake an injury. What a waste! Anyway, let’s take him and all his pesky hosts down tomorrow with a front-page article—” His eyes widened as he opened the door of his clubroom.
“So. It’s just as we thought.” The Hitachiin twins, sitting on his desk, smirked.
“It was so obvious,” said Kaoru.
“Boss was the only one who didn’t notice. He’s pretty dense when it comes to himself,” said Hikaru.
“Let me tell you this,” said Kaoru. “If you do anything to the boss or anyone else in this club, you won’t get off free. Not just the Hitachiins, but every family of our club will become your enemy. Are you prepared for that?”
“As I thought, you’re using your family powers!” said Akira. “And Suoh ordered you to do it!”
“Wrong. Tamaki would never do that.”
Akira jumped as Honey spoke and whirled. In the doorway stood Kyoya, Honey, Mori, and (Y/N).
“We love Tamaki. That’s why we won’t let anyone bully him,” said Honey, smiling. Mori nodded.
“Even though he’s an idiot,” said the twins, though they were agreeing.
“We all have our own family names, too, if we wished to go that route,” said Kyoya. He looked at Akira coldly. “Not that we would need to. We’re respectable, unlike some.”
“Not all of you have family names!” said Akira, glaring. “Your scholarship students, they’re there for a reason! Either Suoh forced them into it or they’re going to use his name—”
“Haruhi and I are making our own way in the world,” said (Y/N) sharply. “Tamaki is our friend.”
            “Gold digging commoner—”
“I’d suggest you stop speaking,” said Kyoya. He pressed on a hidden button on the first aid kit he had so graciously delivered to Akira. The president of the newspaper club paled as Kyoya retrieved a disk from within the case. “Otherwise, who knows what we may do with this disc that has proof of your plot and precisely what slander you were planning on spreading about Tamaki, (Y/N), and Haruhi?”
Akira, Chikage, and Tomochika let out strangled cries. They had lost.
l
“I’m glad they won’t be bothering us again,” said (Y/N), sighing.
“We humored Tamaki, and we handled an issue.” Kyoya sighed. “As long as he doesn’t drag us into helping another disreputable club, we should be fine.”
“It is Tamaki we’re talking about,” said (Y/N), smiling.
“Perhaps.” Kyoya smirked. “But Komatsuzawa was right about one thing—we do have power to throw around if necessary.”
            “You guys, maybe,” said (Y/N).
“I—We wouldn’t let your reputation be harmed,” said Kyoya. “You haven’t done anything.”
(Y/N) paused, and Kyoya looked at them.
“I haven’t. But…my family.” (Y/N) grimaced. “My reputation can be harmed by association.” Kyoya was silent as he waited for them to speak again. “My aunt and uncle, they’re kind. They’re good people. You’ve met them. But they’re fostering me for a reason. My parents—” they sighed “—they had substance issues. They were in jail for most of my childhood. I have no idea where they are now. But my aunt and uncle raised me.” (Y/N) looked at Kyoya. “I’m not ashamed of them. But I know that people will look down on me if they find out, and I am trying to make a name for myself.”
Kyoya nodded. He already knew all of that—he ran serious background checks—but that didn’t change the way he looked at (Y/N). They were still the person he had grown to truly care for, the one he had feelings for. (Y/N) was intelligent, ambitious, tenacious, and a genuinely good person on. Whoever their parents were, whatever they’d done, it had nothing to do with (Y/N).
“I understand,” said Kyoya simply. “You are more than the reputation of your family.” He understood the desire to show your own worth independent of one’s family—particularly of one’s brothers, in his case.
“Thank you, Kyoya,” said (Y/N), smiling.
            “(Y/N)?”
            They glanced at him.
“If someone attempts to use your class or family against you, tell me,” said Kyoya. “I will handle it.”
“I don’t need you to fight my battles for me,” said (Y/N). They knew that if they intended to move up in society and make a name for themself, they would have to get used to condescension from some.
“I am your friend, (Y/N),” said Kyoya. “I wish to help.”
(Y/N) felt their heart pound as he spoke, and the myriad of reasons they liked him—his kindness beneath all his coldness, his watchful eye for danger, his sharp mind, his respect for them—came to their mind.
“Yes. We’re friends,” said (Y/N). This was the first time they’d said it out loud. They smiled. “You and me.”
Kyoya quite liked the sound of that.

A/N: I don't know where this came from. I just had an idea for it and wanted to write it down. A small, quiet moment with Gilbert.
Gilbert x Reader, comfort fic
WC: 500
Tumblr media
Daylight wans. The sun begins its slow descent, acquiescing the reign of the sky to the night. The moon rises, regal as a queen, bringing with it a court full of cold, diamond-bright stars.  Your slippered feet move silently across black and gold carpeting, the lace hem of your nightgown brushing light kisses against your ankles. You pause outside his door, the massive dark wood carved with prowling tigers as if protecting the study and all of its secrets.
But you are not afraid of their claws or sharp teeth.
With a steady hand, you press down on the gilded handle and enter.
He is sitting at his desk, writing, working, always working. He’s shed his cloak, his gloves, his belt, his cravat, all the golden ornamental trappings of his authority. The sight of him, stripped down to his gray shirt, his dark pants and socks, flattens your lungs, swells your heart. One elegant hand is pushed into the midnight silk of his hair, his head tilted away from you as the dark feathered quill scratches continuously along the parchment. Moonlight spills like ethereal paint through the arched window, fighting with the soft, orange glow of the chamberstick over who is allowed to illuminate the planes of his face, which type of light is allowed to tenderly caress that pale skin, the gentle slope of his neck.
One step into the room and the quill freezes, his head turns and he sees you there. There are shadows under his brilliant, blood-red eye. You worry he is not feeling well, he is pushing himself too hard, he is drawing on a finite source of energy that may run out.
“Come here.”
The command is still a command, however gently he may speak it. But you go willingly, crossing the room until you are at his side. He shifts his body, pushing the heavy desk chair back slightly and then pulls you onto his lap, sighing when he feels your weight against him, as if it is relief, as if it is oxygen.
You are here.
The quill lies abandoned on the desk, losing its last few drops of ebon ink.
You are here and everything else will wait.
He wraps his arms around you, pulling you so tightly against him that every breath you take pushes against his hold. You don’t mind. He nuzzles against the silk of your robe, roughly pulls it until it drapes off of you, leaving him your bare shoulder and one thin silken nightgown strap. He buries his face just there, hides his unearthly beauty away from the world so that he may get lost in your darkness, your scent, the warmth of you. Your hands slide across his shoulders where you feel the tension coiled within, the serpentine stress that bites at him daily, sinks its gleaming fangs into him over and over without remorse. Your hand comes to rest on the back of his neck and you cradle him, loving and secure, against you. His breath is hot, unsteady as you tighten your grip on his nape, firm and unyielding.
I'm here, it says. I have you.
The Conqueror Beast can finally, finally rest.

A Well Meaning Idiot
pairing: tamaki suoh x reader, host club x tamaki
summary: when ouran's newspaper club take a new interest in the host club's king, it leaves all of you feeling wary. tamaki might trust them blindly, but the rest of you don't. it's not hard to guess there's an ulterior motive in their mind that means you'll have to jump to tamaki's defense.
notes: takes place during 1.14 (covering the famous host club!), it's basically just all the hosts and reader working together to protect their favourite idiot.
word count: 1.1k
Tumblr media
The Newspaper Club of Ouran Academy were trouble. It didn’t take an idiot to work that out but, unfortunately for all of you, Tamaki Suoh is an idiot. A well meaning idiot, but an idiot nonetheless. Lucky for Tamaki, the rest of the host club have a bit more sense. The new interest in writing an article about the host club seemed incredibly outlandish to begin with. You’ve heard their justifications but the whole thing seemed suspicious, especially since you know what a gossip rag Ouran’s newspaper is. Their interest in the host club definitely wasn’t born out of good intentions, that much you can gather. Proving that though, that’s going to be difficult.
You decide very early on that you’re not going to question why Kyoya’s family have made first aid kits that have listening devices installed in their base but right now it serves a purpose. Given the state of their club room, you don’t get the impression that they’re big on getting rid of things and hopefully it will get you the proof you need so that the newspaper club stays far away from your friends.
It’s easy enough to distract Tamaki. The moment Haruhi had mentioned some of the commoner games she played as a child, he’d been entranced and desperate to play. It wasn’t hard to notice that Akira was starting to get frustrated and once Tamaki ran into the school’s maze, the plan was set in motion.
It also wasn’t hard to slip away from the group bonding activity, mainly because you know who Akira’s focus is trained on. So much so that, aside from talking to Haruhi, none of the members of the Newspaper Club looked twice at the rest of you. They’re so distracted, in fact, that it’s incredibly easy to sneak into their club room.
Tumblr media
“I’m writing the article.” Akira Komatsuzuwa is a man on a mission. His frustration is palpable as he heads towards his club room. Chikage and Tomochika are behind him, trying to keep up, but the pace he’s set is ruthless and both of the younger men are trailing behind him.
“Wait, Mr. President!”
“It’s too dangerous to write gossip about Suoh. You don’t have any evidence, sir.”
“Who needs evidence? All I have to do is expose him and everyone will see it! If I set my mind to it, I can imagine any number of articles that would cause a commotion among the idiots at this academy. I’m going to expose Tamaki for the twit he is.” Akira slams the club doors open, blinded by his frustration. Their club room is perpetually dark, so it takes his eyes a moment to adjust to the lighting difference. It surprises him when he sees three figures perched on his desk. “Huh?”
“Hmm. So, we were right all along.”
“You three.” Akira looks unhappy at your intrusion but not entirely surprised. It’s probably a good thing he hasn’t noticed that Kyoya is sitting in the back corner of the room. Next to you, Hikaru shrugs lightly.
“Well, I guess it was pretty obvious.” On your other side, Kaoru nods slightly.
“The boss is the only one who hasn’t caught on yet.”
“Well, we all know Tamaki can be really dense when it pertains to anything about himself.” The twins nod at your comment but all of you are monitoring Akira’s expression. You know you’re not in any real danger, all of this is still being recorded and Mori is right outside the door, but Akira has shown himself to act erratically and you’re not entirely sure how this confrontation will go.
“I should warn you: if you threaten him, there will be consequences.”
“Are you ready to have the Hitachiins and every other club members’ family as your enemy?” Kaoru’s words seem to reignite a spark in Akira’s eyes and rage seems to take hold of him.
“I knew it! You’re nothing but his lackeys! Tamaki’s holding his parents’ power over all of you!” The voice that speaks next comes from outside the club room, and Akira flinches as Honey speaks up, with Mori close behind him.
“That’s not true. We don’t hang out with Tama-chan because of his parents. We love him. We all like being around him, and that’s why we choose to be here.”
“He may be a hopeless idiot, but even so.” It’s easy to spot the fond looks that grow on the host club's faces when they’re reminded of Tamaki. You don’t doubt that there's a similar expression on your own face. Tamaki lived a lonely life before his father moved him to Japan, whilst he can be annoying it’s clear you all think the world of him. In all the time you’ve known him, he’s barely ever mentioned his family around you, let alone used their influence to do anything. You don’t think it’s even occurred to him that he could wilfully do that. Regardless of how Akira Komatsuzawa thinks Tamaki is; you all know the truth.
You watch Akira with a measured expression, waiting to see how he’s reacting. “Well?” The twins are quick to follow up with the question you all want to ask.
“What will you do?”
“Please leave Tama-chan alone, okay?” Honey’s comment seems to break something in Akira as he lets out an infuriated cry.
“I’ll get you all! It’s not just about him anymore! I’ll write an article that’ll ruin all of you!” At Akira’s proclamation, Kyoya smirks and rises to his feet.
“Go ahead, be my guest. Although…” The megane makes his way over the desk you and the twins are sitting on. He retrieves the first aid box, flipping it over and retrieving the memory disk from its base. He lifts it into view and the small fraction of light coming through the half-drawn curtains seems to glint off of it. “What do you think we should do about this little disk? You see, it’s been here since yesterday. And it recorded everything.” At the sight of the disk, the newspaper club members all seemed to blanche, and it’s clear that this conversation will soon be over.
“President!”
“Just give up already!”
It’s Kyoya that makes a closing remark to the newspaper club, saying what most of you are thinking. “Let me explain it to you in terms you can understand. You would do well to remember that the Ootori group and the Hitachiin family alone own enough stock to remove your father from his position as president of the Komatsuzawa Publishing Firm. However, we would never do something like that. We are not like you. What we strive for is fundamentally different.”
With that, all of you make your way back down to the school gardens. You’re quick to find Tamaki and Haruhi in the maze, both of them none the wiser as to what’s just occurred. Probably for the best. You wouldn’t want it to go to Tamaki’s head.

Under the Covers - Silvio Ricci x Reader (Ikemen Prince)
Tumblr media
A/N: a little fluff for @xbalayage
Pairing: Silvio Ricci x Reader
Prompt: early morning wake-up
Tags: fluff, female-bodied reader (no pronouns used), mentions of pregnancy
Tumblr media
"Oh, shuddup already," Silvio mumbled, his eyes still closed, the chirping birds outside oblivious to his demands. "It's too early for this racket."
He sat up in the large bed, the early autumn air cool on his bare chest. He rubbed his eyes, the gold bands encircling his fingers gleaming in the sun's early rays, as if that would help clear his mind, but the birds continued to chirp loudly.
Silvio glanced to his side, your body laid close to his, wrapped snug in the plush blanket. He glared out the window, his cerulean eyes narrowed with disdain, wishing those birds would leave soon and not wake you up.
Sighing softly, he allowed his body to fall back on the bed, careful not to disturb you. He rolled onto his side, propping himself up on his elbow as he watched you sleep.
Just looking at your face, eyes closed with a soft smile on your lips, was enough to make Silvio forget all about the noisy birds. One look at you was enough to make him forget more than he cared to admit.
He watched as you stirred in your sleep, your leg carelessly kicking off the covers. Silvio tsked softly as he automatically reached for the covers, pulling them back over your body.
"What are you doing, Silvio?" you asked, your body still clearly half-asleep.
"Ya gonna -" he began to answer, his cheeks turning pink as he stumbled to answer you. "Oh, it doesn't matter why I'm doing this, just let me do it," he mumbled more to himself.
Flustered, Silvio fumbled with the covers, trying his best to cover you properly. As he was doing so, he glanced down at your body; his arm, having a mind of its own, reached out towards you, his hand resting on your growing belly. He used his free hand to adjust the covers, ensuring you were both snug under the blanket.
You shifted, your body facing Silvio's. He, in turn, faced you, a content smile adorning his handsome face. He didn't know when; he couldn't explain how. But somehow, you squirreled your way into his heart.
The birds sang as they flew outside his window, Silvio blissfully ignoring their sounds as he gazed into your face, your fingers interlacing with his under the covers.

Finally alone
Pairing: Susumu Yamazaki x f!reader
Summary: You were starving and decided to go check out the kitchen to see if the food was almost ready. When you get there however, you only find Yamazaki who was alone cooking for everyone. Until, taking advantage of the few moments you spend together, you decide to flirt with him…
Words: 1.9K
Warnings: none
A/N: I AIM AT YAMAZAKI AND HIT CHIKAGE LOL I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT LIKE THIS
Tumblr media
It was a rainy day in Kyoto. Drops of water falling rapidly outside the Shinsengumi headquarters. The climate had cooled considerably. The cloudy sky and the sound of rain brought a feeling of comfort, it was something you needed a lot lately. Your mind was full of useless thoughts that only gave you a headache. 'What are the boys doing?', you ask yourself. As much as you loved the feeling that days like today brought you, the lack of company or something to do really made you impatient and stressed. You were in your room, as usual, reading a random book you found in the Shinsengumi's quarters. It was one of the ways you found to pass the time on rainy days, and unfortunately they cut your list of ways to kill boredom in half. Normally you would simply walk around the headquarters seeing if anyone needed help or go talk to Okita about anything. You even insisted on letting you participate in that night's patrol but Hijikata's orders were short and blunt. They didn't want you to get the flu or maybe something even worse.
"They're kind of right, you know…" - you think out loud
You still didn't have clothes to protect you from the cold of a rainy night, so it was better if you just stayed in your room. You let out a heavy sigh and start leafing through your book again. It is a book that tells some interesting facts about the West. Their way of acting really was very different from what you were used to. Well, this is definitely not something you want to be reading right now. You would rather be reading a good novel or even some fantasy, but as not everything is as we want, a book about Western cultures and customs was your only form of entertainment. As you continue leafing through the pages you come across some Western foods and how they are prepared. Oooh Yes, you made a mistake going into the chapter about food, because my god how HUNGRY were you at that moment. Instantly you felt your belly begging for food, any food whatsoever. You even thought about ignoring it and continuing your reading, however it seemed that the more you fought against your hunger, the more it appeared and took over you.
"Okay... I think i need to go to the kitchen"
Slowly opening the door to your room, you look around to see if there was anyone outside who could possibly stop you from going to the kitchen. Hijikata would definitely catch your attention if he found you outside your quarters wandering around, but you couldn't just sit around and wait for dinner time. With slow steps you walked towards the kitchen, where with every step you took towards the kitchen, a strong smell invaded your sense of smell. That only made your situation worse. The growl of your belly getting louder and louder and your steps unconsciously also becoming faster, until finally, you arrive at your destination.
As soon as you open the door, swearing that you wouldn't find anyone and that you would have the kitchen to yourself, you come across Yamazaki chopping some vegetables.
"You should be in your room" - he responds after stopping cutting the vegetables and looking at you - "Hijikata won't like knowing that you're out here in this cold"
"He won't know if you don't tell him!" - you respond, sliding the door behind you and entering the comforting environment of the kitchen - "The smell here is incredible, Yamazaki! What are you doing?"
Yamazaki watches you for a few seconds and then shifts his gaze towards the cutting board and continues his work where he left off.
"It's nothing that amazing if that's what you think, it's just an ordinary Ramen"
"But what about all those vegetables you're cutting??" - you intuitively approach Yamazaki, standing side by side with him - "An ordinary Ramen doesn't have all these ingredients!"
Startled by the sudden approach, Yamazaki just hides his face and continues preparing the ingredients for dinner. You and Yamazaki have always had a romantic interest in each other, however, whether because of the risky position he finds himself in, always getting involved in battles or simply because of his fear of falling in love, he never revealed his feelings for you and you never had the courage to open up to this point with him. It reached a level where everyone in the Shinsengumi knew the true feelings you both felt for each other and even made fun of you for it. However, nothing was ever changed and the two of you have remained friends ever since.
Over the years, some events happened and Yamazaki started to be called on almost every mission, which drastically reduced the time the two of you shared together. Moments like this now, where just the two of you were present was something rare, too rare to be more specific. You even wondered if he still felt the same way about you after so long. Your feelings and desires remained unchanged, and you, deep down, hoped that Yamazaki's would remain the same.
"It's supposed to be more nutritious, they've been needing a lot of nutrients due to the increasingly difficult missions lately" - Yamazaki replies while throwing the already chopped vegetables into the broth that was boiling, avoiding looking at you as much as possible.
You weren't going to just stand by and watch Yamazaki work without doing anything. You wanted to and would enjoy this moment of the two of you alone. You would drop some flirting there and some compliments here to see how Yamazaki would react. You really hope everything is still as alive as before.
Slowly then, you approach Yamazaki again - "But what about you Yamazaki? I want to know about you! What have you been doing lately? It's been a while since we talked just the two of us!"
"I have continued my work as usual. Only leaving the headquarters when necessary. In my free time I remain in my quarters enjoying the silence. - he answers without even looking at you.
"Ah yes, I see."
A long minute passes. You seriously question yourself if you should have insisted on trying to find out that Yamazaki still felt the same way.
"And you?" - He finally asks - "What have you been doing?"
Surprised by the sudden question aimed at you, you respond visibly cheerfully
"Ah, I've been helping wherever I've been asked. Be it on missions or just with some tasks here at the Shinsengumi!"
"Ah, that's good." - Yamazaki responds, looking briefly at you with a smile on his face right after returning to his final dinner preparations
Silence again. It was already killing you. You had even lost hunger. What else did you need to do to show that you missed him? Scream and beg for attention? You decide to take a chance one last time. This time the two of you side by side at the stove, looking at the ramen bubbling as it cooks the vegetables. The smell slowly bringing back your previously dormant hunger.
"That looks delicious Yamazaki! I confess that I missed eating something prepared by you again…" - you say, turning to face Yamazaki who already had his eyes on you, causing a slight blush to appear on your cheeks - "I want say… it's been a while since anyone from the Shinsengumi has eaten something you made, right?? I can't be the only one…"
"It's okay, I confess that I missed you too, all of you" - again a response that you can't understand if it was an attempt at flirting or just a compliment with no ulterior motives.
"Ah yes, I'm sure the boys missed you a lot too."
Either way, your morale drops instantly and you desperately make an attempt to get closer, bringing your face closer to Yamazaki while dividing your attention to his lips and his eyes. Noticing your approach, Yamazaki pulls away and shifts his gaze to the kitchen counter, leaving you lost in your thoughts looking at the now empty space in front of you.
"Okay, I'm going to go" - you respond, no longer able to stand being there and holding back your tears as much as possible
However, the moment you slide the door to go out towards your room, with your eyes full of tears, Yamazaki grabs your arm bringing you back into the kitchen, closing the door behind you again. He pins you against the wall and brings his face closer to yours.
"I spent the whole time thinking about you. Wondering if it was worth continuing the game of not taking any responsibility. Wondering if the next time we were together again the feeling would be mutual" - he comments, his breath caressing your ear - "When I heard your footsteps and saw you coming in I held myself back from grabbing you and kissing you, I held myself back from having my feelings crushed by a false impression of there still being something between the two of us, but now I realize that we've been through a lot time pretending and holding back our desires" - one of his hands goes down to your chin, lifting it, making you look into his eyes, tears already taking over your face - "So what do you think? Dating me from now on? Make a commitment where I will be yours and you will be mine. Where everyone will know we have something." - he brings your face closer, your lips almost touching - "I hope your answer is yes y/n, because I can't take it any longer to simply act around you and others as if nothing is happening between us. So say y /n, tell me you love me and that you accept being mine forever." - He looks into your eyes, waiting for your answer.
"Yes. I accept to be your Yamazaki. Forever." - you respond, longing for the contact between your lips and the man in front of you, his breath giving you goosebumps and invading your mind with thoughts, you couldn't bear to be away from this man any longer.
“Great, I think we can start acting like lovers then.” - and like that, Yamazaki finally connects his lips with yours. His kiss was slow but at the same time desperate, as if he wanted to enjoy every second of these rare moments, but he also wanted to kill all the longing he had during the entire time the two of you were away from each other. Yamazaki lets go of your arms and cups your face, kissing you more and more, thirsty for your touch and attention. With your arms already around his neck, you break the kiss due to lack of air. Yamazaki's gaze chills you again, making you realize how much he missed you and how willing he was to make up for lost time.
"I think we'd better go to a more private room" - you suggest, letting out a mischievous smile from Yamazaki
"I'm glad we think the same thing"
He pulls you by the arm and the two of you walk towards your private quarters.
I hope you remembered to take dinner off the heat.

Hey friend! For the mlm prompts, if the free day prompt hasn't been taken yet, I'd like to request Sirius x Harr with a Teacher AU. If your feeling up to it, Lancelot can come play too, but he's not required if not.
Leave it to Krys to think up a good prompt for the free day!! Thank you so much for this, I still remember the cozy morning when I drafted this! Oh, Lancelot definitely can come play too.
[ 🌈 part of the character x character or genderbent!character x mc requests🌈 ]
For Different Universe, Same Love creative challenge, hosted by @queengiuliettafirstlady and me.

𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫
When Sirius pushes open the door of the principal's office, the familiar intense aroma of rich black coffee flies to his nostrils and he already knows, for sure:
"Oh Harr, you're here too. Hello. And hello, Lance."
The blonde-haired man relaxes back in his office chair, putting down the document he's been reading through, offering a greeting back to Sirius just as Harr does. Still, a heavy sigh fills the room the very next second.
"Those brats just refuse to at least try and focus during this time of the year. Classes are turned to chaos."
Something is pushed into Sirius' hands, and he accepts it without thinking twice because of the risk of spilling its scorching contents. When he looks up, he finds a chaste but knowing smile on Harr's face.
"Here, take my cup. I'll make myself another. We drink it the same, after all."
It's no wonder that Harr sympathizes with him, not having it any easier on his end in Magic Crystal Usage class, especially considering the safety risk when presented with a room full of absent-minded students who are counting the days until the end of the school year.
"It's true, we drink it the same. Unlike a certain someone who prefers to put so many sugar cubes, we can take it to Mr. Ash's laboratory to study it for poison."
"Sirius, enough."
The widening smile on Sirius' face blooms into a short but hearty laughter that prevents him from taking the long-anticipated first sip - but even after he's ready to immerse himself in it, he finds another reason to pause.
"Lance, I'll show you how me and Harr sweeten our coffees without any health risks. Watch closely."
The hand that lands on Harr's cheek is warm and gentle when it turns him to face the taller man, and along with those words, it should be enough of a warning sign. Yet Harr's surprise manifests as a small gasp on the plush lips of Sirius when they clash into his, his mouth now agape and inviting for the seemingly innocent demonstration. It's all up to Sirius to take advantage of it or not, and his pent-up aggravation dictates a need to deepen the kiss. This time for the stress relief qualities it bears, not for the bitterness of his coffee.
"Indeed, why haven't I thought sooner of this?"
Lance's voice breaks through the haze, and his lovers only now realize that he got up from his chair and approached them. Sirius' hand remains on Harr's face, almost protectively, in stark contrast with the inviting look in his eyes.
"Now, don't steal my sugar. Find your own."

In my fanfic, even though Kazama is forceful and dangerous, he tries to prove himself as a good husband to Chizuru despite how much Chizuru thinks of him as a devil and dangerous man. He tries to let her know that all his brutal acts were due to his cross with humans and not with her.
He's also very faithful to Chizuru. Not only he believes that he must be as faithful as she is to him in a normal relationship but in a relationship in which Chizuru is staying in against her will, he tries to prove that to Chizuru despite all the negative thoughts that she holds of him. He tries to refrain from any small act that makes her hold a more negative thought of him on that matter.
He tries to show Chizuru that since he deprived her from her lover Saito and her love life and took her with himself against her will then he accepts his obligations to her as her husband even if he doesn't love her or they don't get along well.

For Matters of the Heart
Tumblr media
Pairing ~ Jin Grandet x Reader
Word Count ~ 375
Warnings ~ Angsty, heartbreak with hope at the end, reader has blue eyes (not really a warning, just an FYI for anyone who self inserts like I do lol)
Tumblr media
"It's okay," you said, and smiled, but the smile never reached your eyes. Instead, the pain that already swirled there intensified, darkening your usually bright blue-green irises. To anyone else, you would seem poised and unaffected, but Jin knew you better, and he saw how you wilted under the weight of his words; the words he didn't even mean; the words he only used to protect you.
But was this really protection?
He understood now, what you meant when you told him that showing his emotions was bravery, and he couldn't help but feel the sting of regret at the fact that he'd told you to smile anyway. Because when you told him how much it hurt you to see him hide away his pain, he didn't understand; but now he did. It was like a knife straight to the heart, twisting deeper when you turned your head away from him to hide the tears that threatened to fall despite your best effort. Where was this understanding when he needed it? Where was this realization when he still had the chance to fix all of this, to tell you how much you meant to him, to tell you he loved you more than words could describe?
"I understand." You muttered softly. "I wouldn't choose me either." A soft, yet pained smile, one filled with more hurt than Jin thought a smile ever could be, crossed your lips.
No.
That single word etched itself into Jin's very soul. He wasn't protecting you, he was hurting you. He wasn't saving you, he was destroying you, and he saw it in your body as you turned to walk away; your shoulders tense with the strain of unshed tears, your hands clinging to each other, because what else would you cling to? He had left you no room to cling to him, and anguish coursed through him.
Those hands should be clinging to his hands. Those shoulders should be lax and relaxed, and you should be crying against his shoulder if you were in pain. You shouldn't have to keep all that pain locked away inside a body that was never meant to hold it… and neither should he.
And before he could even realize it, he was running after you.
~

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Tagged by @leviathiane !
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
109!!! I'm a writing machine
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
507,410 ^-^
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly HxH right now, but I'm always thinking of writing more Zero Escape. I also have fics for AITSF, A3!, and other stuff (obligated to mention that I have 57 A3! fics)
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Care - Mizuki & Date (AITSF) Coexisting for Traumatized Detectives - Yosano & Dazai (BSD) An Undefined Truth - Killua/Gon (HxH) Shaking - Kokichi/Kaito (DRV3) Love, Justice, and the In Between - Boss & Date (AITSF) ...Most of these I still love, but one of them is indicative of my dark, dark past. I'll only link the top kudos'd.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes!!! I try to every time!!! Because I like getting responses as a reader mostly, it's nice to know that I've made someone's day better and I like the community that comes with comments!!! Also it's nice to add numbers to that comment counter.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
kill switch, save switch (Zero Escape) - Everyone dies in the Submarine Ending!!!!! Honorable mentions to: Turning Back (A3!) - Chikage abandons a child (not of his own choice, but fully aware of how damaging it is) and then thinks that they're probably dead Playing the Part (AITSF) - Iris is dead, but nobody knows it. Blood Trails Leading Home (AITSF) - It's an Annihilation End fic, everyone is dying and the antagonist is planning to kill even more people.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I try to give most things a hopeful ending at LEAST fdkfkkgfdff it's impossible to choose. I'll go with Follow the Light to its End, a Killugon fic that ends with a kiss ^-^
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really? I did get a comment recently that said "once the confession is over, I don't feel the love anymore. Still nice fic," which......... thanks (sarcasm) Usually comments like that are people trying to be nice but ending up too blunt... so it's whatever.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Nah. Nothing against it, just not my zone.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Sometimes!!! Never in the form of X meets Y though, always putting one character into another's universe. I don't write them often, I'd write them more often if there were more people who would read them and my niche ideas. I think the only one I can remember posting is paradoxical, an A3/ZE crossover which. is crazy. What if Azuma's brother Hajime was actually Hisoka's brother August, but in the same way Akane from Zero Escape is June--the way that June is a mask, a cover. What if they were in a nonary game. What if Azuma accessed the morphogenetic field. CRAZY.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope! But I'm totally open to it!!!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Sort of!!! I did the Masukyu magic AU series with my friend Mikey :> Cowriting is really hard but it's fun.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
ALL TIME is hard. I'll give you a top 3: Killua/Gon (HxH), Hisoka/Homare (A3!), Junpei/Akane (ZE) Also honorable mention to Chikage/Citron/Itaru (A3!) for being the subject of my longest fic.
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I'm constantly writing like 5 things at once, so it's a gamble with everything I write... I really doubt I'm going to finish the Pariging time loop WIP I have though orz I really love what I have so far of it, it's just... I don't know where it's going orz
16. What are your writing strengths?
Character emotions!!! Showing how characters respond to each other!!! Introspection!!! I like to think I'm pretty good at a lot of things.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I've been working on making sure that my characters don't talk in a void lately T-T I'm not BAD at description, but it so often falls to the wayside... Also comedy is hard for me.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I mean... it can work, I suppose? I wouldn't do it myself, because I'm not confident in any language other than english (I'm sorry high school german teacher...! I fell off because of covid...! I'm unlikely to use more than a couple german words for Klavier's faux-german thing, if I ever write a fic about him, lol) When other people do it, it's fine, except if I notice them using it wrong I think it's silly.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
First fandom I wrote a fic for ever: Warrior Cats First fandom I posted a completed fic online for: My Hero Academia
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
Since I have so many it's kind of impossible to choose... But I'll say my long fics, especially the 40k multichapters. I put so much work into every long fic of mine, I can't choose a favorite child T-T Here's a link to my AO3, filtered for only fics over 10k words just in case anyone is interested in the 8 longer fics of mine Also mentioning you, at last, a little shorter than the above at 8.6k, but definitely one of my favorite A3 fics I wrote!!! It's a platonic soulmate AU, I'm constantly tempted to use the AU for another fandom because I think the rules of soulmates in it are really good. And while it's not a long fic, I reread smoke signals (HxH) recently and I love what I did with it. I think a lot about it still because I think that the offscreen apology Gon is implied to have given Killua is really interesting, and smoke signals is me writing my idea of it ^-^
Tagging... anyone who wants to, I suppose!!! If you're a writer and you're reading this I'm tagging you. Yes, you.

Characters I Write Reader As
Pretty much everyone I write for I'll write the reader as; however, be specific with how you want your request. If you ask for X Character!Reader, it's usually romantic. If you ask for & Character!Reader, it's usually platonic.
I will not write Character!Reader if the character reader is to be based off is a child, i.e. Klee!Reader. If you want Character!Reader to be that specific character, I write them as being an older sibling of that character and having similar characteristics. [This is the only exception I will make as I am a primarily Character!Reader blog]
I will, however, write Character!Reader based off a teenage character, i.e. Crona!Reader; this is strictly platonic.
I write gender-neutral pronouns unless requested otherwise.
I'll also write Character!Reader when the character is from a fandom not listed here, like Chat Noir!Reader (in the context of Reader having the Cat Miraculous). If you're not sure, you can ask; I'm not terribly mean. [If you're interested in Human Sans/Papyrus!Reader, I'm up for writing them as well]
What I Write
Family Bonding
Angst
Fluff
Comfort
SFW
Slightly Suggestive
Same-Sex Relationships
Found Family
Family Feels
Pregnancy
What I DON'T Write
Pedophilia
Yandere
Homophobia
Transphobia
Most Fetishes
Paraphilia
Abuse
Self-Harm
Suicide
NSFW [Originally in DO write but the more I thought about it, the more awkward I felt thinking about it so I'm taking it off the table]
