[7.40pm] It was beginning to snow again. An almost ridiculous amount of fluffy white flakes was making its way down towards the earth, landing on top of your hair and clothes, quickly beginning to melt and making you shiver in the freezing evening air. Still, you didn’t really mind the snow - simply because your boyfriend loved it so much. He was very delighted by the small snow storm, giggling and jumping around while gazing into the cloudy night sky. “Y/N, look!”, Junhee yelled enthusiastically, catching a snowflake between his hands and watching it instantly melt on his warm skin, “It’s so beautiful.” You smiled, amused by his cute, almost childish amazement and nuzzled your nose against his cold cheek. “Come on, let’s go or we’ll be late.”, you murmured, pulling him with you and towards the ice rink a little further ahead, “The others are probably already waiting for us.” Junhee exhaled deeply, his breath forming a tiny white cloud in front of him. “I just love snow.”, he said softly, dark eyes forming little crescents when he smiled down at you. You rolled your eyes. “It’s literally just frozen water.” You were only trying to tease him - of course you were -, delighted by his offended expression and annoyed intake of breath. “It’s beautiful!” He gazed at you for a split second, before beginning to smirk. “And so are you.” You groaned at his cheesiness, trying to hide your blush by ducking your head and beginning to walk faster. Junhee laughed, grabbing your hand and turning you around to face him again, sliding both arms around you and pulling you close to his warm body. He gently kissed your forehead, both cheeks, the tip of your nose and - finally - your lips. You basically melted against him, sighing into the kiss. “Let’s just ditch Donghun and his girlfriend and continue to play in the snow.”, Junhee whispered as soon as you broke apart again, making you huff and playfully push him away. “Donghun’s girlfriend just happens to be my best friend, so that’s a definite no from me.” With that, you reached out one gloved hand towards him, “Let’s go, my little winter prince.” He looked at you in an offended manner, gasping dramatically. “I’m not little!”, he whined, making you grin. “Sorry, I couldn’t hear you from down there, Tinhee.” “What?! I‘m taller than you, so you better take that back immediately!” You just continued to laugh at him, quickly dodging the snowball he was already aiming at you and running away from him. “You’ll have to catch me first!” With that, you full on sprinted towards the ice rink - and towards the safety of the presence of your closest friends, Junhee already hot on your heels.

When the Sun Sets
Request: park junhee lovers to enemies au? thank you
A/N: I would like to clarify that everything written in this story is complete fiction and isn’t to be taken as a true portrayal of reality. This story was extremely difficult to write, it really hurt if I’m being honest, and tbh I’m not too sure of the quality. I just know that I struggled to write it because, while I feel angst is what I do best, I tend to prefer hopeful endings- not the kind that would leave someone distraught.
*****There is no excerpt or summary bc if you want your heart to hurt this is the right fic for you. Also, I’m just gonna add that the person who proofread this for me said “Wow, I understand why you wanted to get it out... just horribly sad. I don’t know what else to say except ouch.” So I hope that is of some help.*****
Word Count: 2,252
Genre: Angst (this f*cking hurts), Lovers-to-Enemies AU
*****This is a continuation of Just As the Sun Rises - if you liked the happy ending DO NOT READ THIS, bc it will severely wreck that*****
Tumblr media
Sometimes love just isn’t enough. You can love someone with all you have. Your heart and soul. With every fiber of your being. Yet and still, love alone isn’t enough to keep two drifting souls together. No matter how hard you try, you just can’t tie two people together by love alone. Effort and dedication need to be put into a relationship, so that it won’t fall apart.
Everything had been going so well… Until it wasn’t. Together for three years, you’d had many ups and downs but ultimately you made it through them all. This time it was different. All of those fights that previously seemed like they might tear you two apart were just child’s play. Those fights were nothing compared to the current stalemate. Neither of you had similar thoughts on the matter- and it was driving you up the wall. This wasn’t what you expected when you first started dating Jun three years ago. It wasn’t anywhere close to your mind when you moved in with him. Though looking back, maybe it should have been.
But you were love blind, and so was he. Maybe you both thought you were of the same mind then. Maybe you thought there were no worries- that love was capable of overcoming any obstacle. Except as we all know, love on its own is incapable of defeating any problem. Love is just a mitigating factor, you can let it drive you to pull yourself together, to handle things you never thought possible. On its own, love is worthless.
The problem stemmed from your viewpoints on life- marriage and children. The problem was that he wanted both of those things, and that you only wanted one. Having children had never been in your life plan. Seemingly this issue arose overnight. Nothing ever just pops up unexpectedly though, it was stewing somewhere away from the forefront. Maybe you should’ve noticed all those times his face lit up when he interacted with a friend’s child. Looking back, you should’ve noticed how he would always look at you with this heartwarming smile- the look in his eyes that screamed that what if one day he got to hold your child.
But you didn’t notice. Instead you existed completely blind to the issue, until he proposed to you. What was meant to be one of the happiest moments of your life turned into one of the worst. Jun’s proposal speech was sweet and sentimental, that the two of you were meant to be together, that you were family. And that somewhere along the line, once you made a home for yourselves, that he couldn’t wait to see what your children would look like- whose eyes they’d have, he thought they should have yours.
All the color had drained from your face, and in that moment you had been immensely glad that he hadn’t proposed to you in public. Everything had gone slightly blurry as tears filled your eyes. How were you supposed to tell the man you were madly in love with, the man that wanted to spend the rest of his life with you, that you didn’t want kids? But were you just supposed to sit back and do something so life altering, where you’d actually influence a child’s life, when you never wanted to? You couldn’t help but think how unfair that’d be, not just to you, but to Jun and the child.
Jun had thought your tears were those of happiness, and since the beginning you’d been nodding until he mentioned kids, so naturally he thought you were going to say yes. Thus he had slipped the ring onto your finger and hugged you tight. That was when you completely broke down, you started sobbing uncontrollably. Of course seeing you like this was confusing for him, he thought you were happy, so why were you crying like something terrible had happened? Nothing else was spoken of that night, Jun ushered you to bed and tucked you in after turning on your favorite TV show. Despite not being aware of what was upsetting you, he took care of you. And that made it so much harder.
Sleeping in the same bed as him was difficult. Your heart felt constricted. Ultimately the restlessness won out, and since you knew you wouldn’t be getting any sleep, you crawled out of the covers in the early hours of morning. There was too much going on in your head, all the wires were crossed and fraying. Any decision you made would hurt someone. Jun found you hours later in the kitchen, a cold mug of coffee sitting in front of you, head in your hands.
His hand smoothed down your back, startling you. “Can you tell me what’s wrong?”
“I… I don’t know how to say this.” You mumbled, looking over at him. “How- how am I supposed to tell you? I don’t want to hurt you.”
Jun laughed nervously. “The way you’re talking is scaring me. You didn’t cheat on me did you?”
You recoiled, shaking your head. “No, I’d never.”
“Well then, whatever it is can’t be that bad.”
Biting the inside of your cheek, you nodded. You just needed to say it. “Jun, I love you, and I want to marry you.” Pausing to take a deep breath you noticed the bright smile on his face at your previous words. His smile made you want to keep the next sentence captive in your head. “But I… I don’t want kids.”
The smile that you loved dropped from his face. “What?”
“Please don’t make me say it again, it was hard enough to get out in the first place.” You whispered, looking away from Jun.
His hands grasped your shoulders, turning you to face him. “I need to hear you say it again.”
     “I don’t want kids.”
Tumblr media
After you had admitted that you didn’t want to have kids, the conversation had taken a serious turn. Jun didn’t understand how you’d never talked about it before. Just like you, he had assumed you both always wanted the same thing- that was how in tune you were with each other. Clearly though, you weren’t as in tune as you thought. Weeks passed, and each day the conversation was revisited. Each time it felt like your heart was being ripped from your chest. Jagged edges surrounding where your heart used to reside.
Certainly Jun felt the same. Like a bucket of ice water had sloshed over him while he was peacefully asleep. Like a blindfold had been lifted, the world that used to hold countless treasures turned into a wasteland. How could he not? But there was a turning point. A point in which he realized you wouldn’t change your mind. A point in which you realized how much you truly loved him. If you didn’t, how could you do what was necessary?
If you didn’t love him, how could you leave him when he said he was willing to not have children if he was with you? Because that’s just what happened. Initially it seemed like neither of you would change your minds, the argument would just go on forever. No true change occuring, but neither of you being strong enough to leave. But then one day he walked into the living room, looking defeated, and declared that if you didn’t want kids then it was okay.
Maybe earlier when you felt like your heart had been ripped out, it was just the ghost of a pain that was to come. The second Jun uttered those words was the most painful moment since he’d proposed to you. Images of your future flashed before your eyes, the future of your relationship if you married him after his sacrifice. The first few years might be wonderful, filled with happy moments of wedded bliss. But then the reality would sink in, Jun would realize exactly what he’d given up, and that he’d given that up for you. You would then become the source of pain for him.
Maybe he’d regret his decision, or maybe he’d become resentful and bitter towards you. That wasn’t a future you wanted any part in. Facing the pain of leaving him now would be a hundred times better than staying in a relationship that was bound for misery. A part of you wished to avoid the end, to run away without a word, but that wasn’t you. You weren’t a coward. You weren’t a dastardly type that could disappear in the night, leaving loved ones without prior notice of your absence. You’d have to face him, one-on-one, and tell him.
Tell him that you couldn’t marry him. Tell him that you hated leaving him, but you couldn’t stay. It would hurt. It would be torture to find those words. To set them free from your mind and release them to the world. And they were. Each word became a stone settled in the back of your mouth, the weight steadily increasing as you spoke. Stomach unsettled at the look of despair on Jun’s face. Heartbreak and desperation shone clearly in his eyes, his hand clutching at your arm as he begged you to stay. He said he couldn’t survive without you. He said you were his heart, the other part of him. But you knew he could survive. You knew he could make it through, and that one day, eventually, he would thank you.
Tumblr media
After breaking his heart in the middle of your living room, you moved out, even going so far as to quit the job where you had met. You could still remember how your relationship started- at first you couldn’t stand each other, and that went on for years. Maybe it would’ve been better if you had never found comfort with each other. That way this pain would never have occurred. That way you wouldn’t know of the love that you couldn’t keep.
You were of a hopeful mind that as time passed, it would get easier, for both of you. And for a time it did, but each time you reached a better place you would run into him somewhere in town. It was never good when you ran into each other. The first few times Jun would plead with you, saying he missed you so much, and that you never left his mind. After that he quickly became bitter and resentful, forgoing a greeting and going straight to slights and insults. And he knew just what to say to wound you.
On one specific occasion, what would later be known to you as the last time you spoke to Jun, you’d had enough. Of all places, you just had to run into him at a work event, the new company you’d joined was having a charity event where a bunch of other advertising firms were invited. You’d spotted him across the room first, chatting lightly, happily, with a group of your coworkers. The smile present on his face was bright, cheerful, as if over the past two years he had known no pain. You knew the second he saw you, the smile slipping from his face with a speed that seemed inhuman.
It made your heart ache, the way his lips set into a thin line. How he set down the glass of champagne he was holding and slowly made his way over to you. A small part of you wanted to run away, to go somewhere else, but you knew that once Jun sets his sights on something he doesn’t back down. And running wouldn’t help at all. So in that moment you decided it was enough. The conversation started innocently enough, as you had been talking to a few people from another firm, but the second they left it mutated.
Words became harsh. Cruel. Filled with resentment and pain. Making it clear he hadn’t moved on, as if he hadn’t even tried. Instead choosing to dwell on his anger and pain that you had caused him. It reached a point that your voices cut through the mindless chatter of the people around you. Eyes flickered over to the two of you as the room suddenly went quiet. Surely it must’ve been a sight to see two people dressed to the 9’s, having a shouting match at a high end charity event.
A vein pulsed in his neck as he yelled. “We could’ve worked it out! We could have saved us!”
“Some things aren’t worth saving!” Your voice finally rose to match his, rage filling you. “For the past two years since we broke up, I’ve been hoping that you could move on and let go. I did what I did, for you! So that you wouldn’t wake up one day, married to me, and realize you made a mistake. Don’t you understand?” You cried out. “There was nothing to save, Junhee!”
You loved him. You loved him so much it made your heart hurt. But love isn’t always meant to last. Sometimes its only purpose is to end in pain, so that you end up with jagged edges that take years to sand down. Love can be wonderful, it can come from strained beginnings and create something beautiful- and after that creation has grown it can be torn down in the same manner. Just as the sun rises it can be beautiful, but when the sun sets it becomes shrouded in darkness and all that was beautiful is hidden. Making you question if it was ever love to begin with.

See You Soon
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jun (Park Junhee) x Reader
Genre: Fluff
A/N: This has been reuploded from my previous writing account. So if you’ve read this before, surprise!
6:45. He was late. Again. You sat on the leather couch, gripping your second cup of hot tea. He forgot again. Your boyfriend has now stood you up on your last four dates.
The soft and warm coffee shop was now making you angry and embarrassed. You told him you just wanted some tea and to talk with him. Now, you’re sitting in a cafe, with almost every waiter asking if you wanted to order anything.
You opened your phone, hoping to see some missed call. An apology text, but nothing. You tapped on his contact name and dialed his phone number. You put the phone to your ear as you listened to the call ring, and ring, and ring.
“Hey, this is-“
You disconnect from the call before you could leave another voicemail to him. Putting your phone face down on the coffee table, you took your cup of tea and took a big sip. You tried your best to stay strong, but a stray tear fell from your eye, falling down your cheek. You caught it and wiped it away before it dropped off our face. A barista met your eyes and gave you a sympathetic smile. Embarassment taking you over, you quickly looked away and looked up at the ceiling, which was nothing but Edison-style string lights.
You were done.
“I’m sorry, Miss…” You snapped out of your haze and looked up at the barista, who had a smile on her face. “We’re starting to get busy and we don’t have a lot of space left. Do you know if you’re going to order anything?”
You were so embarrassed, you could just crawl in a hole and never come out. “I’m sorry, I’m still waiting-”
“I’m here, I’m here!” an unfamiliar voice ran out behind you. A guy with jet black hair sat next to you on the leather couch, “sorry I’m late, sweetie.” He gave a grin at you before looking at the barista, “I’d love a black coffee, please.” the barista was smiling at the stranger next to you, “Sure, I’ll be right back.”
The barista quickly went back and prepared his drink while you stared at him confused, “What are-”
“I’m sorry, you’re probably so confused, but I couldn’t stand to see you being harassed like that.” He smiled, “My name’s Junhee, but call me Jun.”
You sighed in relief, “Thank you.” you took another sip of your tea, “I’m Y/N, it’s nice to meet you.”
The barista came back with your coffee and Jun thanked them, before turning his attention to you. “So, who’s the idiot that’s standing you up right now?”
Over the next hour, you and Jun began talking about everything. You told him that your boyfriend has continued to stand you up at multiple dates and how he never apologized for them. Eventually, things got more light-hearted and you began to learn more about Jun. He was an aspiring singer and was currently in a dance group with four of his friends who were trying to become singers as well.
A night that was supposed to be an embarrassment, turned out to be one of the best nights you’ve had in a long time. Jun was such a nice guy and made you laugh until tears were falling down your cheeks. He listened intently to you and knew exactly how to comfort you with all that was going on with you and your boyfriend if that’s what you still wanted to call him.
Out of the blue, Jun asked you, “Why are you still dating someone as horrible as him?”
The question caught you off guard which made you gulp your last sip of tea down. Your boyfriend wasn’t kind, compassionate, or caring. Your boyfriend could care less about you sometimes, and the longer he kept doing this, the less good you could see in him.
“You know what Jun? I have no idea why I’m still with him.” You laid back into the leather couch, crossing your arms.
“He doesn’t deserve someone as wonderful as you.”
You looked back at him, a grin slowly growing on his face. The barista came back to the two of you on the couch, an embarrassed smile on her face. “Sorry guys, but we’re closing up.”
You looked down at your watch, 9:30 PM. Your eyes widened, were you reading that correctly? How did the time sprint by so quickly?
“I’m so sorry, we’ll leave now.” You quickly collected your things and threw on your jacket, Jun following you out the door.
Now Jun was standing next to you outside the cafe, smiling at you. The fall day had turned into a chilly night, which made you wrap your scarf tighter around your neck. Your hands were stuffed in your pockets, looking right back at him. You still couldn’t get over how attractive he was, and also how incredibly kind-hearted he is. Jun let out the sweetest chuckle, then spoke. “I’m sorry for the circumstances that made us meet. But I’m so happy I got to meet you.”
“I’m happy tonight turned out so well. Thank you, Jun.”
Jun grinned back at you, “I’d love to do this again sometime soon if you’d like to.”
You contemplated it for a minute. You still had a boyfriend. A boyfriend who stood you up on 4 consecutive dates, and refused to answer his phone all night. He was God knows where with God knows who. And here was Jun, someone who finally made you feel worthy again. Someone who understood you and made you laugh all night tonight. He wasn’t your boyfriend, and it was at that moment you decided that you didn’t need your current boyfriend anymore. You were over, you wanted nothing more to do with that asshole of a boyfriend of yours.
“I’d like that, Jun.”
He smiled ear-to-ear. “I’m so glad, let me give you my number, and we’ll find a day this week.” You quickly exchanged numbers, and you looked back at Jun, who was finishing up your contact in his phone.
“I’ll see you soon then.” He said
“Very soon.” The two of you smiled as you parted ways back to your homes. As you turned the corner to the subway station, you got out your phone, dialing the number of someone you needed to cut ties with. No surprise, your boyfriend’s phone went to voicemail, and this time you left a message.
You were about to start your message for him when you looked up and your eyes widened. There was your boyfriend, a smile on his face. The smile was not directed at you, but the platinum blonde at his hip. His hand intertwined with hers and he was leaving kisses on her cheek.
Before you knew what you were doing, you stormed up to him, throwing your phone back into your jacket pocket. “Glad to know where you are.” You said to him, and his jaw dropped to see you.
“Hey.” He tried to say as casually as possible. The girl looked back at you, giving you a dirty look.
“Hey?” You said back to him. “I’ve been waiting at the coffee shop for the last 4 hours. And you didn’t show up.”
“I’m sor-“
“Please, save it for someone who cares.” You interrupted him. “Save it for your new girlfriend.”
The blonde’s eyes widened at you. “What does she mean by new girlfriend, babe?” The blonde looked back up at him. All the color had left his face. His eyes widened and jaw dropped, he stared back at you.
“Uh-I.” He stammered between the three of you.
Your train was coming into the station and you looked back at him one last time. “I hope the two of you have a great night.”
You jumped on your train and sped away from your now ex-boyfriend. A feeling of relief washed over you, leaving all your stress, worry, and anxiety over that one man behind.
Three days later, you found yourself on the subway after work, going back to the coffee shop, a little smile on your face as you read your text.
NEW MESSAGE from Junhee:
“I can’t wait to see you soon. :)”
You hadn’t been this excited and nervous for a date in a long time. You and Jun had been in almost constant contact since your night with him at the cafe. He heard all about what happened after the two of you left the cafe, and everything leading up to today.
You got off at your stop and walked the two blocks to the cafe. You suddenly became nervous, what if he wasn’t there? Maybe it was a fear from your previous boyfriend, but it still worried you. The last thing you wanted was to be stood up again.
You walked through the coffee shop and sighed in relief to see a boy with jet black hair and thin wire framed glasses sitting on the same leather couch where he saved you from a huge fit of embarrassment. He had a book out, and he was reading to pass the time before you got to the cafe.
“Hello again.” You smiled at him.
He couldn’t help but smile back at you, “Hello beautiful.”

Junhee would be so embarrassed and proud at once. Embarrassed at the sudden act of affection in front of other people and proud at the courage you had. His natural instinct would be to become visibly flustered at the exposure, but at the same time love the attention from you. The fact that his girlfriend pulls him into her lap would make him feel like she's proud of being with him, and wants to show him off. It'd feel like it was your way of showing others that he's yours and that you love it. Prince wouldn't mind it at all, although he'd most likely get teased by his friends — he's already used to being teased by his members all the time so it isn't something foreign to him. This is a thing he'd love to get teased about. Sitting on Mommy's lap would be like sitting on his throne. Only Prince Junhee belongs there.
His face became red and his smile widened when you pulled him into your lap in front of his friends and their salads.
The moment you whispered Babyboy — one of his favorite nicknames — in his ear he hid his face in your neck, embarrassed and warm.
“Mommy, please~” he pleaded in a sweet, small voice.
“Please what?”
He whined aloud, not sure what he actually wanted, and hid his face in your neck as a bad attempt to cover up his shyness.
In the future, he'll still act flustered with showing affection in front of friends, but in reality he loves doing it. Both claiming you him and his friends witnessing it will make him thrilled. Call him Babyboy in front of others all you want, he'll be giggly and proud that you show that he's yours.

Donghun would feel confident and immediately get cocky. Your move is to him a validation that you want him close to you and want to keep him there. And when it's for other people to see he knows that you're proud of being with him. With a bigger ego he'd say something to push it further, like calling you Mommy to see if you'll go as far as calling him Babyboy. If you don't he might get a little disappointed, but continue calling you Mommy until you give him what he wants. So when you do call him that, his satisfaction would be clearly evident in both his expression and actions as he smirks and gets touchier than before and addresses you as Mommy only. He'd be cute and soft the whole day to emphasize that he likes it.
“Mommy,” he said out loud shamelessly on your lap.
“Yes, Babyboy?”
“Nothing,” he giggled, only wanting to hear you call him that, and kissed your cheek right in front of everyone.
Whenever he feels like it he'll straddle you, so he can hug you at the same time as he gives you affectionate kisses here and there, and then just rest his head on your shoulder, while you're facing either the TV or some familiar, embarrassed faces. The way he just makes his way towards you and plumps his butt on your lap with no care in the world will never fail to be mesmerizing. He's such a Mommy's Babyboy. But a savage one. Whispers of your name will be heard by you and only you, just to get you in your feelings in front of others without them knowing at all. You got his full attention and he's got yours.

Sehyoon's heart would skip a beat and his smile would make an appearance. This was the type of relationship he's always wanted so this would be a huge step of you for him. The way he views you would be completely different from before. In a good way. He would show his appreciation in a casual way to not make it seem like it's a big deal, even though it is for him, since he wants it to become a habit rather than a once-in-while type of thing. Although his actions might come off as a little cold this Angel would be blushing on the inside the entire time.
“Babyboy,” you put your hands on his muscular thighs as he was sitting on yours.
He smiled without looking at you, to not show his glee.
“Yes, Mommy,” he replied softly and put his head on your chest.
“I love you.”
“I love you more, Mommy.”
He'll call you Mommy in front of his friends and sit on you whenever you pull him into your lap, or ask him to sit there, because he's a good boy and he listens to your every command. Mommy knows best. Having the courage to initiate the cozy intimacy will be rare for this Angel as he wouldn't want to come off as too clingy. And he'll want to see how often you want it. Although he might not sit on your lap without you asking him to he'll still think it's one of his favorite things to do with you. If he ever does it in front of others out of the blue it's either because he's jealous and wants to mark his territory or because you've done it so many times that he finally feels comfortable to take the first step.

Byeongkwan would love it. No doubt. This is something he's wanted to do since before your relationship even began. Affection is — according to him — one of the best parts of a relationship, and so if his girlfriend isn't afraid of displaying it in public he'd feel relieved that you're both on the same page on the matter. He's a very loving guy and would want his partner to reciprocate what he gives. This action in particular is one that he likes a little bit more, since it feels safe and cozy. And when you add his nickname into the mix you have a soft Babyboy. He'd act all lovey-dovey and call you Mommy any chance he got. If he touches you more it's because he's happy with you and just wants to feel you.
You pulled him onto your thighs and left your hands on his, “My Babyboy.”
He comfortably rested his head in your neck with a joyful pout, “My Mommy.”
After a few minutes he might be snoring.
When you're casually sitting by yourself he'll come and change it. He'll sit on your lap more often than actual couches if you guys have company. His friends'll say something along the lines of 'There's legit two empty seats left' and he'll just shrug and ignore the dumb proposition. Of course he'll sit on you instead of a soft mattress clad in fabric. Mommy's thighs are softer. And the atmosphere between you is the softest you can possibly have when you're doing PDA in front of a group of friends. If you don't call him Babyboy he'll sulk and not answer until you address him correctly. If he's feeling extra he'll even ignore you. 'Has anyone seen my Mommy?'

Yuchan would be so shy and cute a kitten would get jealous. His face would be blushing instantaneously and his smile would be on display in a split second. You'd be able to see in his eyes how much he likes it — which is a lot. His heart would flutter in love and he wouldn't be able to hide it. Babyboy probably didn't expect such an action in front of his friends and certainly not his title either. But showing everyone you're together would only make him cheerful and thankful for being with you. The blush'd never leave his face and neither would the smile. If his friends tease him about his shy antics he'd only use that as an excuse to hide in your chest or neck, and maybe stay there.
“Mommyyyyy, what are you doing to me?” he whined cutely so only you could hear, both happy and embarrassed.
“What do you mean, Babyboy?”
His face brightened up and he hid it in his hands, giggling to himself.
“Stop~” he blushed and hid in your safe embrace.
Soon he'd start sitting on your lap without you asking him or telling him to. More than less when you're alone, because it makes him feel adorable and loved. This fluffy boy will just randomly sit on your lap and give a quick peck on your skin, because he wants one in return. If you continue calling him Babyboy in front of his friends you'll probably notice how it lightens his face, since it's hard to not spot Chanshine. He will start initiating all types of intimate acts he can think of and get more comfortable with talking about you to other people. His happiness will grow in the process.

Selfish - Part 16
Tumblr media
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 | Part 12 | Part 13 | Part 14 | Part 15
Genre: angst, fluff
Pairing: Jun x Reader / Chan x Reader
Word Count: 4.4k
Summary: You love them both and you’re torn. But…what if you didn’t have to choose?
You felt like Chan was avoiding you and you didn’t know why. He ended up changing his flight and staying in Jeju for an extra day, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family. You understood but it felt a little out of the blue. So you flew back to Seoul with Jun.
It’d been a week since you’d been back and you barely saw Chan. You’d eaten at a restaurant for dinner and he declined your invitation to sleep over at your house. He said that he had work to do but he’d never declined one of your invitations and, in the past, having to do work never stopped him from coming over. If anything, he’d just bring his laptop and books with him, at least wanting to be in your presence. But you didn’t want to complain or come off as petty over this. Chan must’ve just wanted more alone time. Maybe he was stressed about work or school or both. But part of you felt hurt because, normally, he’d always come to you during those times. Something changed but you weren’t sure what.
You weren’t going to lie, you’d been in a weird mood since. You hated feeling like he was mad at you or something. So, Jun suffered a bit too. And you felt bad that you couldn’t give him your all. And he knew that there was something off with you. The trip you thought was supposed to be relaxing ended up not being as relaxing as you would’ve hoped, especially given that Chan had joined unexpectedly. You supposed that it caused a little turbulence in your lives. Maybe you shouldn’t have said anything, you wondered. Maybe you should’ve just kept the trip as one with Jun. But, then again, it seemed like everyone had a good time. And you knew that Chan wasn’t there the whole time but you also knew he hadn’t seen his family in a while. It was hard to tell how everyone felt truly. Was this all just a facade?
It was nine o’clock and you knew that Chan was working at the cafe tonight. You figured you’d just show up with chocolate covered strawberries and hope that you could convince him to let you sleep over. You missed him and you missed falling asleep in his arms.
As you walked toward the cafe, you could see him through the window. There weren’t any customers at this point. He was wiping down the tables, from what you could see. And he looked handsome while doing it. He looked concentrated, his eyebrows furrowed the same way they did when he was frustrated or thinking. When you knocked on the glass, you could tell that he wasn’t expecting you. He took out his Airpods, surprised. He opened the door, letting you in before locking it again. “What are you doing here?” he asked, little to no emotion in his tone.
“I miss you,” you said, a little taken aback by his tone, or lack thereof, “and I wanted to see you. I feel like you’ve been avoiding me…”
Chan turned around, heading back toward the table he was cleaning. “You could’ve called me.”
“I wanted to surprise you...but it doesn’t seem like you’re happy to see me so maybe I’ll just go…” You took the box of chocolate covered strawberries out of your bag, placing it on the table. “Enjoy them.” You turned on your heel to leave and, just before you got to the lock, Chan’s hand was wrapped around your arm.
“Don’t go.”
Tears were starting to build up in your eyes. Chan was usually the one that always greeted you warmly, the one that always showered you with love and affection, the one who always seemed to know what you needed no matter the time or place. You bit your lip, trying to hold back the tears.
“Baby,” Chan said, frowning at the sight of you tearing up. “Please, I’m sorry…I’ve just been in this weird space lately. I don’t mean to take it out on you...”
You raised your brows. “What do you mean?”
“There’s justsomething that happened to me recently that made me rethink things.”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“No, it’s okay. I’ll be fine.”
You shook your head. “You’re the happiest person I know…and I know when you’re not being honest with me.”
Chan looked down. “I know. I just…don’t want you to get hurt.”
“Does what happened have something to do with something I did?”
He shook his head. “No, no, it’s not that…''
To be honest, Chan was tired of keeping this secret. It was hardly his to be carrying on his shoulders like this. This was all Jun’s fault. Why was he the one to be suffering when Jun was the one living stress-free? Why was it that he was still protecting Jun like this? Chan was the one who was done dirty and he was sick of putting everyone else first. Even if you were hurt by this information, you deserved to know the truth and to not sleep next to someone who hadn’t been completely honest with you.
“So what is it, then?”
“I want to close up first. I’ll be done in five. We can talk as soon as I close the cafe.”
And within those few minutes, your mind started racing. You didn’t have the slightest clue what Chan wanted to talk about. It seemed like he was going through something and, on top of that, he’d even distanced himself from you. Did what he was going through have to do with something you did?
Chan closed up the cafe and locked the doors. “Okay, let’s go.” You started walking toward Chan’s building, which was about a ten minute walk from the cafe.
As you started walking around the corner, Chan said, “I haven’t been completely honest with you…” You bit your lip, expecting the worst. “Remember when I said I had family stuff to deal with in Jeju?” You nodded, unsure of where this conversation was heading. “That wasn’t true.”
“So why did you leave? I thought you were having a good time…”
“Well you know we’d all been drinking. Jun had been drinking the most and I saw that when he went over to the bar by himself. I went over to bring him back over to the dance floor with us while you were in the bathroom. He said some things that made me uncomfortable even though I was doing my best to be friendly and include him in everything…” Chan let out a sigh. “He implied that the only reason he agreed to me coming on the trip was to make you happy. He basically didn’t want me there. He got angry and told me that I’m your favorite and that he never gets time alone with you, which is ridiculous. The part that made me upset was the fact that he basically lied and put on this pretend act. If he wasn’t okay with it, he could’ve just been honest and said no. I-I don’t know how to feel. I can see him trying to push me out. I had to leave because I didn’t want to ruin the trip, so I kept my distance and let him have his time with you...which, I guess, was his plan. And it worked.”
Tears had been building up in Chan’s eyes as he told the story. He’d kept a lot of it in up until now and, honestly speaking, it felt nice to be able to be honest with you. He hated the situation that he was in. He felt more secure about being in this polyamorous relation ship with you and Jun but Jun didn’t seem to be okay with it at all. And it hurt him because he felt like Jun had basically pretended to be cordial with him. Chan wondered what you saw in him. What Jun did just seemed so...evil. Was Jun finally showing his true colors? Would you forgive him yet again?
You stopped him to pull him into a hug. “I...I didn’t know…”
“It’s not your fault. You didn’t do anything wrong, babe.” Those words were comforting and, with them, came a few tears. You could hear it. “Thank you for telling me...and for trying to protect me. You don’t have to hide things like that from me, I promise. I love you so much, Chan…”
He pulled away from you and you wiped his tears with your thumbs. He smiled and said, “I love you, too, Y/N…”
*
You left Chan’s house in the morning feeling a little confused and, by the time work was over, you still felt frustrated. You didn’t know what to think of the situation with Jun. It seemed like there was some turbulence in the relationship and you weren’t sure what to do next. Of course, you needed to bring this up with Jun. You couldn’t sit back and let this simmer on the back burner.
You opened the door to the nail salon. Na-Ri was there a little early, waiting for you. “Well, well, well, look who it is...The person I’ve hardly heard from since you got back.”
“Sorry,” you said, chuckling. “Things have been kinda crazy.”
The two of you checked in for your nail appointments and headed to the back of the salon to get your pedicures done. When you got settled and dipped your feet in the warm water, you turned to Na-Ri. “You won’t believe what I just found out...”
Na-Ri looked over, putting her phone down. “What’s up?”
“Remember when I said we went to dinner that first night in Jeju? The three of us? Well, everything was fine up until we went to dinner. That’s when things started getting a little weird. Actually, no, things were a little weird before that but I didn’t put two and two together at the time…I think it started when Jun fell asleep at the hotel. Me and Chan stayed up for a little bit and then we fell asleep, too. When I woke up Jun was gone and I think he might’ve been feeling jealous that me and Chan fell asleep together. Then he just got really...drunk at dinner. If we had ordered another bottle of wine, I don’t think Jun would’ve made it to the bar.”
You continued your story as you flipped through the catalog to decide on what colors you wanted. “I always try to make sure I spend enough time with both of them. Next thing I know, I go to the bathroom and then when I come back, Chan is telling me he has family issues to go and take care of and that I should stay with Jun. At the time I thought it was kind of weird and random but, at the same time, it could’ve been true so I believed it. In the past, his dad collapsed from overworking, so it was believable. Anyway, I went back to the hotel with Jun and he just acted like everything was normal after that.”
Before you could continue, Na-Ri stopped you. “Did Chan invite himself on the trip?”
“Not exactly. I was talking to him and I told him what we were doing. I guess he kind of implied that it sounded like fun and he wanted to go. So I asked Jun about it...and that’s when the lie started...I asked if Chan could come with us because I thought that it would be a good idea for us to bond. And it was supposed to be Chan’s weekend with me so I felt bad. Anyway, Jun said it was fine and that it was okay. If he didn’t want him to come, he could’ve just said no…”
Na-Ri said, “What the hell? Where’s the communication?”
“Exactly…”
“Have you talked to Jun about any of this?”
You shook your head. “I just found out last night.”
“Good luck. I don't know how you do it. One man is enough problems for me.”
You chuckled. “I don’t know how I do it either…”
“Maybe it was too soon to try this kind of relationship...”
You let out a deep sigh. “We’ve been doing this for months...I don’t know how much longer he could possibly need.”
“Well if you think about it, you haven't really done anything together, with just the three of you. So maybe it was a bit much to go on a trip together. I think it’s something you have to ease into. Like going on dates together, to the movies, to the amusement park, and stuff like that. Cause it seemed like everything between them was pretty much fine–well, neutral–before this. I don’t think he gets jealous until Chan is physically there...and, I mean, that’s not good either.”
“Yeah, you’re right. We’ll have to work on that if this is going to work.”
“Yeah, it’s the next step in the relationship. You got past the beginning stages so now the next step is for them to be more comfortable around each other and to do more things together.”
Na-Ri was right. You were still angry with Jun and the fact that he hadn’t been honest with you or with Chan. Jun’s selfish actions had hurt you but, more importantly, his actions hurt Chan. From what you could see, Chan had been trying to be friends with Jun. He’d been putting in effort, only to be rejected by Jun in the end. And Chan knew that feeling all too well.
It had been months since you came up with this arrangement and Jun was acting more like a child than an adult. But you couldn’t help but feel like part of what was happening right now was your fault. Since this was your idea, you should’ve had a better plan. But you weren’t an expert and neither were Jun or Chan. Was it too much to expect this much from them?
You probably should’ve been trying to do more things together rather than keeping things separate. Keeping things separate wasn’t realistic and, obviously, it wasn’t working. The relationship was going to have to undergo some changes if there was going to be any chance of survival. You needed to figure things out but, first, you definitely needed to talk to Jun.
*
When you asked Jun if you could have dinner later, he thought nothing of it. He answered your message, of course, suggesting that you come over to cook. But, strangely enough, you declined saying that you’d rather go out to eat. It was a little surprising since you usually enjoyed making dinner together but he thought little of it. He told you to meet him at your favorite restaurant to have some Taiwanese noodle soup.
He waited for you inside, browsing the menu. He’d been here once with you but, as far as he knew, it was a place that Chan had introduced you to. Sometimes Jun couldn’t help but feel like you had more in common with Chan than you did with him. Jun pushed the thought out of his head. Those small insecure thoughts were beginning to annoy him a bit. He was starting to feel bad about the things he’d said to Chan. Maybe he shouldn’t have been so harsh. Maybe he should’ve been more mature and accepted things as they were rather than mope about the things he couldn’t change.
Was this kind of relationship for him? Was he too in over his head? Was it even meant for the two of you to be together right now, with or without Chan in the picture? He loved you, without a doubt, but sometimes he wondered if all of this was worth it. He missed when things were simple, when it was just the two of you. Before you’d even met Chan in the first place. Part of him wished he never accepted that job or went to Japan. But maybe everything that was happening to him now were things that needed to happen.
You came into the restaurant looking a little stressed, bringing Jun into a state of distress. Were you here to break up with him? Had you finally had enough of his shit? You sat down across from him and said, “Hey.”
Normally, you’d embrace him. You’d reach across the table and brush your fingers against his hands. You’d lean over for a kiss, something. But you weren’t doing that. Jun’s heart dropped. Something was definitely wrong but he wasn’t sure what.
Jun tried to lighten up the mood. “Are you okay? How was your day?”
“I’m okay. My day was decent.”
Jun nodded. “Your nails look nice,” he said, glancing at your hands. “This color looks good on you.”
“Thanks,” you said, taking a sip of water. “Look, can we talk about something serious?”
“What’s going on?”
“Chan told me everything…”
Jun looked down. Of course, he knew that he was in the wrong. Deep down, he’d known that this day was coming. How could he think a secret this big would stay a secret? He’d wanted to come clean and apologize about it, mostly to Chan because he’d done nothing wrong in the situation. In any case, Chan was merely a victim of Jun’s insecurities.
Jun didn’t say anything so you did. “If you wanted it to just be us, why lie to me? I would’ve understood.”
Jun let out a deep sigh. “I don’t have an excuse for why I did it…” He looked up at you, finally. There was so much hurt and disappointment in your eyes, he could barely stand to see it. “I just couldn't bring myself to see you disappointed so I lied and I tried to convince myself that I could do it but I couldn’t...Then it got too late to say anything, so I just tried to swallow it. And I became a person I couldn’t recognize by the end of it all…”
“You hurt me, Jun, and you hurt Chan, too…”
Jun nodded. “I know…”
You reached for his hand, taking it in yours. “It’s okay to feel these kinds of things but it’s not okay to act like that. We agreed to this relationship and for it to work, the three of us have to have some type of communication.”
Jun said, “I’m sorry…I’ll also apologize to Chan. I’ll talk to him tonight. I really am sorry, Y/N...”
You looked him in his eyes, almost as if you were staring into the deepest, most vulnerable parts of him. “I need to know if you’re all in.”
Jun squeezed your hand in his. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t afraid of losing you. But he nodded, continuing on through these unknown waters.
*
After dinner, you went home despite Jun’s suggestion of coming over. He understood and he wanted to give you your space but he couldn’t help but feel like there was suddenly this giant rift in your relationship. It was his fault, he knew. But he missed you. He missed the way things were, just before the trip. So much had changed and it’d only been about a week. One of the ways he usually made himself feel better was to find comfort in your arms. When he had a hard day, he’d go over to your place or you’d come to his. And you’d hold him in your arms, running your fingers through his hair. But again, that wasn’t an option for him right now.
He knew he needed to apologize to Chan soon. If he didn’t apologize soon, he’d lose the nerve to do it and you’d be more disappointed in him than you already were. He took out his phone and called Chan, anxiety filling his chest. It rang five times and, just when he thought that maybe he should just hang up and forget it all, Chan answered.
“Hello?”
“Hey, I was wondering if you had time to talk.”
Though Jun couldn’t see him physically, Chan was rolling his eyes on the other end. “Sure. Do you mean over the phone or in person?”
“We should talk in person, no?”
“Okay. Where do you want to meet?”
“I can meet you near your place.”
“Okay. There’s a bar a few blocks away. I’ll send the address.”
The call was over and anxiety washed over Jun. He had no idea how to start or what to say. There was nothing he could say to take back those shitty things he said to Chan and there was nothing he could say to justify them. He was immature, insecure, all of those things. He hated that he put himself in this position and that he had to even apologize in the first place, but he knew that he couldn’t just sit quietly.
As Chan got ready, he felt very irritated. Of course, you’d already told him how the conversation with Jun went. He even felt annoyed at that. How many ways did that man have to show you that he wasn’t ready for this kind of relationship? It was so frustrating to sit back and watch Jun hurt you both. These feelings were no longer coming from a place of insecurity or jealousy; it was a place of genuine concern. It seemed like a good idea at first, but maybe this kind of relationship was beyond the three of you. Chan had done online searches trying to figure out how he should go about things but he always ended up in a loop where his question was too specific or there were too few answers for him to make an educated guess.
With the current state of things, he at least knew that he’d at least attempted some research. Had Jun even bothered to do research on what it meant to be in this kind of relationship? Chan knew that there were different types of people but he could see that Jun wasn’t the kind of person that could handle this. Once upon a time, Chan wasn’t either but he’d like to think that he’d grown since then. If being in a relationship with you and Jun had taught him anything at all, it was patience and he’d even gained a bit of maturity. At the end of the day, you needed a man who was mature, a man who made you feel secure and who felt secure in himself. Of course, Chan wasn’t perfect and he had moments where he felt insecure but, overall, Chan liked himself and the person he was becoming. He was becoming a better man, not only for you, but for himself as well.
When Jun entered the bar, Chan was already there. He was sitting by himself, having a cocktail. From the looks of it, it was dark liquor. It was one of those nights and Jun understood. Hell, he figured he’d order one for himself. He greeted Chan with a nod and sat down in the seat next to him.
“Hey,” Chan said, taking a swig from his glass.
“Hey,” Jun replied. He turned to the bartender. “Can I have the same thing?” he asked, referencing Chan’s nearly finished glass.
Chan downed the rest of his drink, sliding the glass toward the bartender. “And can I have another?”
A moment of silence passed before the bartender returned with both drinks. Jun let out a deep sigh before he turned to Chan. Chan didn’t look up, though, and understandably so, Jun supposed.
“I’m sorry for those things I said back in Jeju. I was completely out of line,” he started. “I know I can’t take any of it back but all of this happened because I wasn’t being honest. I wasn’t being honest with myself and I took it out on you instead, thinking you were the problem when I was the problem. I drank too much and I felt frustrated. I should’ve been honest with Y/N and told her I wasn’t comfortable.”
Chan nodded. His feelings about everything began to rise to the surface. “I’m not going to forgive you right away but I’ll accept your apology for now…” Jun didn’t say anything but nodded instead. He didn’t know what to say next. Was there anything left to say? Was the conversation over? Was this one of those instances where the conversation could’ve just been a phone call? Just when Jun thought that the conversation was over, Chan spoke again. “You know what was most upsetting about all of this? I thought we were finally at a point where we could be friends…I thought wow, we’re actually getting along.”
Hearing that made Jun feel even worse than he already did. He wanted to be able to be friends with Chan too but his insecurities were holding him back. In the ideal situation, the three of them would get along. In the ideal situation, he and Chan would be sitting at this bar having a drink together, laughing and sharing stories, while you were at home with no worries about whether or not your boyfriends would get into a fight. There wouldn’t be all this drama and conflict surrounding the relationship, for God’s sake!
Jun wanted to say something comforting. He wanted to tell him that he did want to be friends, believe it or not. But he couldn’t find the right words. The words, for some reason, wouldn’t leave his mouth. “I’m sorry…again.”
Chan was frustrated because it seemed like he didn’t even care. Was Jun here because you made him or was he here apologizing on his own accord? It was hard to think of him as a decent person after all the drama and lies about Malai and more recently, their Jeju trip. This was his second strike, in Chan’s eyes. If he did something else, Chan wouldn’t be able to forgive him. He couldn’t read Jun’s mind but it would be nice to know what he was thinking.
He said, “I don’t think you’re serious about this relationship. Have you considered it at all? If you’re serious about being with Y/N, you’re going to have to work harder. and I’m more than willing to support her to make this work. But if you’re having doubts or don’t think you can work with us, then you should leave us alone. Y/N is my priority. Why isn’t she yours?”

When you're upset (A.C.E)
Tumblr media
Title: When you're upset
Pairing: A.C.E x Reader
Genre: Slight angst; Fluff
Word count: 1204
Writer: Kpopmadness (Ju)
Warnings: On Donghun's story the reader goes through a panic attack
Summary: A.C.E reacting to different situations in which you are upset. Seeing you hurt also makes their heart hurt for you and driving them to make you feel better.
Chan
“Just leave me alone.” I groan angrily as I go to my boyfriends and I’s bedroom and fall onto the bed. Tears threatening to fall down my cheeks.
“Not until we sort this out.” He whines, referring to my bad day and lack of communication with him unless it was to snap at him. He flops onto the bed beside me and starts rubbing slow circles on my back.
“I don’t want to talk.” I tell him as I bury my head further in the bed sheets.
Chan stops rubbing my back and moves his hands to wrap around my waist, holding me close to him while his head rests between my shoulder blades.
“Then don’t. But let me hold you until you feel better, love.” He whispers.
Somehow, that simple phrase breaks my icy exterior, causing me to break down into sobs. Chan holds me while I cry, never saying anything, just offering comfort through his presence.
Seyoon
“Did I upset you?” Seyoon asks on our drive home from a dinner party.
I don’t answer, I keep my eyes on my phone in my lap. I knew if I said something it would only make things worse because I was upset.
“Why are you not talking to me?” He asks as he tries to take my hand but gets it pulled away.
Seyoon gives out an irritated sigh and keeps driving. Silence stretching between us the whole way home. When Seyoon parks in our driveway, I get out and go into our house without saying a word.
Seyoon closes the door behind me as he tries again, “Was it because of what I said earlier?” Referring to a snarky remark he made at me in front of everyone. Embarrassing me.
To be fair, I knew he was tired. And I knew he didn’t want to go to the dinner party and I forced him to go. It was partly my fault that he was in a sour mood, but I was too stubborn to admit that.
I take my shoes off at the front door and start walking to our bedroom to change when Seyoon’s arms wrap around me, holding me in a tight hug.
“I’m really sorry.” He whispers, his voice cracking. Making me falter.
I let out a sigh and take his hands in mine that were around my waist as I lean into his chest.
“I’m sorry too.” I whisper. Making him kiss my temple and hold me tighter.
Byeongkwan
I lay on the couch snuffling quietly, trying not to draw attention to myself. I had an old scrapbook out in front of me, seeing photos of my parents who lived half way across the world from me made me get more emotional than I thought.
I hear Byeongkwan come into the living room, making me quickly wipe the tears from my eyes. Hoping he wouldn’t notice. It doesn’t work.
“Are you crying?” He asks me, coming closer to where I sat.
“No.” I say quickly, my voice far too shaky to be believable. I meet his eyes and see worry in them, making me somehow lose it again.
Byeongkwan quickly moves the scrapbook from beside me and wraps his arms around me, pulling me into his lap. I cry into his shoulder as he plays with my hair.
“Do you miss home?” He asks me softly.
I nod my head, too upset to even voice my answer. Byeongkwan holds me closer to him.
“You’re okay, baby.” Byeongkwan whispers into my ear as the sobs subside and I slowly start opening up to him.
Jun
I wince as I try to move around, hoping it would help the pain. I had had a migraine all day. The worst I had ever experienced. The pain never lessening enough for me to get relief. By now my head felt like it was about to explode.
Jun comes into our bedroom to see me standing by the dresser shaking with tears in my eyes.
“Why are you up?” He asks gently as he rushes over to me and takes my arm.
“I can’t get comfortable.” I tell him, my voice shaky and my vision blurring.
Jun wraps his arms around me as he scoops me up and places me back on the bed, covering me with a blanket.
“You need to rest.” He whispers to me, wiping away strands of hair that had fallen into my eyes.
I let out a sob and press my hands to my temples, “It hurts to bad, Juhnee.” My voice barely above a whisper.
Jun’s eyes fill with tears as he crawls into bed beside me and let’s me bury my head in his chest as he holds me tightly.
“I promise you’ll feel better soon.” He whispers as he continues to hold me tightly. Somehow, I manage to fall asleep with my head still buried in his chest.
Donghun
We were at a party, it was way bigger than I expected it to be. My nerves already shot from the long day I had had at work. I hadn’t said anything though when Donghun mentioned wanting to come to this party. I just agreed and got dressed. Even though I could feel myself coming apart at the seams.
The music booms loudly, too loudly, people talk and yell over the music. Overwhelming me, making the drink that was in my hands shake with my ever shaking hands. My skin feels hot and the walls feel like they’re going to collapse on me, making me run my fingers through my hair nervously and roam through the room trying to find a ‘safe place’
Donghun finds me in the crowd and walks over, his smile wide. “Are you having fun?” He asks.
I look up at him and his smile quickly turns to a frown as he sees the panicked tears in my eyes.
“What’s wrong?” He asks, quickly taking my drink from my hands to hold them in his.
“I need to leave.” I tell him, my voice shaking.
Donghun watches me for a moment before taking my hand and leading me through the crowds of people, down the houses hallway until he finds an unused room and pulls me inside.
The room is a closet to be exact. A small closet. It’s hanged up clothing hitting me in the face as soon as we step inside, making the space even smaller.
“No...no...no no no.” I whimper, “It’s too small in here, I don’t want to be in here. I want to go home, Donghun.” I cry, my voice getting higher and my chest tighter.
Donghun quickly wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his chest. I fight him slightly because of the confined area.
“Hey.” He whispers in my ear, catching my attention.
“You’re okay, Princess.” He soothes, running a hand through my hair. “Just take it easy.”
I eventually calm down, mimicking the deep breaths Donghun was taking as my head rested on his chest, his grip around me keeping me close to him.
When he sees I’ve calmed down enough he places a kiss on my forehead. “Let’s go get ice cream before we go home.” He suggests, making me smile.

Country Side Vacation (2/2)
Rating: R (AO3: E)
A.C.E Junhee x Reader x A.C.E Donghun
Word count: 3.3k
Genre: smut, romance
CW: smut, mentions of overstimulation, threesome, friends with benefits, a bit of unnamed ex bashing xD
Request: Ok so this is random and it just came to me and I just thought I need it from you bc you’re the only one I know who wrote Poly- So basically can I request something where it’s like you and all of ace are friends and there’s a water fight or whatever that you walk in on and coincidentally you’re wearing a white shirt and it becomes see through but you don’t realise and join the water fight and then ace get flustered and it’s just a nerve war and teasing back and forth and some spice and ty ❤️
Splash. The cold water brought you forcefully back to the present, to Junhee’s parent’s yard and the water gun fight that had escalated while you had been daydreaming.
There was a sudden silence as the five guys looked at you in shock. Sehyoon had not moved from the spot where he had swung the contents of the bucket at you. Chan who had been the intended recipient apologized.
“Oh no! I’m sorry!”
Junhee ran up to you but tripped and stumbled on the way.
“I guess Sehyoon thought you needed a shower.”
Donghun’s eyes sparkled mischievously.
“Oh, ha. Ha.”
You felt annoyed because of his taunt. It should not aggravate you as much as it did. Yes this was why you had never made a move on him. He had a cruel streak to him. An ability to put the finger where it hurt most.
“I will get you a change of clothes. Come!”
Junhee had composed himself, buttoned up his shirt halfway, which made it look even more inviting to take it off and gestured towards the house.
Inside it was cooler and you shivered. Junhee led you up the stairs and into one of the bedrooms. There were not a lot of personal items here so you guessed this was a guest room. He opened the closet door and rummaged for something you could wear.
“Here.”
In his outstretched hand were a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. Both look too big for you. Were you imagining it or was he a bit nervous?
Something soft and heavy landed on your head. You flinched.
“You will need one of these.”
Donghun’s hands rubbed the towel over your wet hair as Junhee watched, biting his lip.
“You really need to get out that shirt.”
The low whisper made a shiver run down your spine. He wants me to take off my clothes? An arm wrapped around your middle and you suppressed a gasp.
“It’s almost transparent after all. Now what do we do when the others see you.”
You were stunned. All thoughts had vacated your mind. There was only the heat of Donghun’s hand on you and the soft towel on your head. Was that his breath on your neck?
“Hyung.”
Junhee was still there. How you could have forgotten he was in the room was beyond you. The buttons on his shirt were not properly buttoned and your fingers itched to align them as intended. Junhee and Donghun looked at each other.
“I will leave you two alone.”
Donghun’s hand disappeared and he left through the open door. You were sure your face looked like a tomato and you felt a bit bad that Junhee had witnessed it. Even though you were not exclusive by any means, or even a couple, it felt like something you should be sorry about.
Trying to pretend like nothing happened, you took off your shirt. Getting naked in front of Junhee seemed normal at this point. He had seen you clothless many times, there was no point in getting nervous now.
You loved the fabric of the shirt. It was faded blue and very soft from frequent washing.
“So what do you think?”
The clothes were not very stylish or sexy but you could not have guessed by Junhee’s expression. A blush had crept onto his face and he swallowed audibly before answering.
“It suits you.”
An old pair of shorts and a wash out tee suits me? What an odd thing to say. He looked away trying to find anything else to focus on.
“Let’s go down stairs before they break anything.”
Downstairs you found Donghun and Yuchan sitting in the shade under a tree in the garden.
“Where are the other two?”
“Getting some food. For lunch.”
For the evening Junhee’s parents had left a feast to be prepared on the grill. They had marinated meat and filled the fridge with side dishes. You were sure that you were going to explode from the amount of food you would eat later.
A huff came from Junhee.
“More like they wanna have some alone time.”
“Oh Junhee, leave them be. At least that way they don’t sneak around here.”
Donghun did not give any indication that the situation upstairs had happened. Why had he done that?
Indeed Byeongkwan and Sehyoon returned an hour later with food from the convenient store that was 5 minutes away. Judging from the faraway look on Sehyoon’s face, Junhee had probably been right about their alone time.
By the time you had eaten, it was time to start preparing dinner.
“That’s how it’s supposed to be on holiday. You just eat and sleep.”
Chan grinned and sat the bag of coals next to the grill.
“Can you do this?”
Junhee asked and gestured at the bag. He did not trust any of the guys to do it and not burn down his parents house.
“Sure.”
Coal was not your favorite but you started the fire and watched the black glaze over white. Chan sat the container with the meat down next to the grill.
“You look like a miner.”
Donghun rubbed something off your face with a disapproving frown. You had smeared coal dust all over.
“Don’t.”
You swatted his hand away. _I know I’m dirty. No need to feel superior. _
“That looks perfect.”
Junhee beamed at you after looking at the white coals in the grill. That smile could melt ice and stop wars.
“I knew I could trust you with this.”
He handed you a can of beer.
The food was delicious and you ate too much. The sun was beginning to set and it was cooler now. The leftovers compelled you to take another bit and you gave in.
You picked up a spoonful of rice and sauce. Unfortunately halfway to your mouth you got distracted and felt the impact on your shirt. You looked down and saw a chili red stain on your chest.
“Look at you, so clumsy.”
Donghun whispered next to you. Your lips trembled. Why is he picking on me so much? You shot up and stormed into the house.
_I know I’m ugly and clumsy. No need to point it out every second. _
Junhee caught your arm on the stairs. You had not even heard him calling out your name.
“Hey. Is everything alright?”
HIs brows were furrowed and his hand had tightly onto your arm as if you were at flight risk.
“I just…Donghun…”
He took two steps up which put you on the same step.
“Let’s go to my room.”
His room turned out to be the one you had been in earlier and where you had gotten the clothes.
“What is with Donghun?”
You sighed.
“He is always saying these hurtful things to me…”
Junhee studied your face and you looked away. The double bed was made which seemed surprising to you. On the other hand you had never been to Junhee’s apartment and night had he ever spent the night at your place. He had always left.
“You think his comments are hurtful?”
What a weird question. He is always making fun of me. Does Junhee not see it the same way. He stepped a bit closer and his hands came up to your shoulders.
“Is it possible that you are a bit sensitive?”
Your first instinct was to deny that you were being “sensitive” but Junhee did not seem to agree with your point of view.
“Do you… maybe… like Donghun?”
The question came seemingly out of the blue, but it made you feel even more defensive.
“No.”
It had come out too fast to be convincing and sounded more like the opposite. Which, of course, was the case. Donghun had his good moments when he was not being a brutally honest sadistic jerk. Junhee for his part was pretty naive but even he could tell you were lying. You sighed.
“I like him, okay? It’s just…. He is so… he can be… ehmm… too much. He can be kinda brutal in what he says.”
“Because you care what he thinks of you and it hurts when he is making fun of you.”
Sometimes you forgot the Junhee was good at picking up social things. He could read your mind. Or so it seemed at times.
“Yes.”
You felt like a puncture balloon, slowly deflating. It had been on your mind for such a long time that it felt odd to have said it to someone. The fact that someone else knew made your feelings more real.
“Maybe you should do something about that.”
His thumbs drew slow circles on your shoulders. Junhee was so supportive it made you emotional. Such a good soul. Never leave me.
“Junhee…”
Arms wrapped around you and next thing you knew your nose was buried in the nape of his neck. He held you tight.
“You can do it.”
His smell was familiar and immediately, unconsciously relaxed you. It was the smell of cuddling, movie nights and good times.
“I believe in you.”
Don’t make me cry, Junhee. You hugged him tighter. He kissed on top of your head and rocked you from side to side.
“Let’s go back. You can get him alone later.”
You nodded. Even though you wanted to stay in his arms you let go.
When you left the room, your heart jumped while Junhee literally jumped. There was a figure standing in the hallway next to the door.
“Hyung! You scared the living shit out of me!”
Junhee whined at Donghun. You on the other hand were more concerned with how long he had been there and, more importantly, how much he had heard.
“I’m sorry.”
“You better be.”
Junhee pouted but Donghun was not looking at him.
“I’m sorry my teasing hurt you.”
He looked down and wrung his hands.
“I actually like you a lot.”
This was not how you expected this evening to go. You were speechless.
“Donghun…”
“Sorry for eavesdropping, too”
So he had heard. Oh this is not good. What do I do?
“Can I make it up to you somehow?”
He met your eyes and smiled sweetly. It seemed like he was sincere in feeling sorry about hurting you and your heart felt warm. A warm fuzzy feeling radiated from it through your body.
“Maybe you can make her feel good?”
Junhee suggested suggestively. You turned around to look at him in shock. If someone had asked you before, if Junhee would ever suggest to someone else to fuck you, you would have said no. He had always seemed attached to you and you always thought he wanted you to himself.
“Would you… like that?”
Donghun got your attention back with his question. Would I?
“…yes.”
Your answer was quiet and breathless. Donghun looked stunning, you noted. The sleeveless shirt showed off his arms and his long hair was untied now.
“Good. Have fun.”
Junhee passed you and was almost to the stair when Donghun said: “Wait.”
Junhee stopped with his hand on the railing.
“Do you want to stay?”
He looked very confused at this question. Donghun studied your face and added:
“I think she would like that, am I right?”
It was true. Junhee felt safe and if there was a way for him to stay, you would love that. You nodded.
“If that’s okay with you, both of you, then yes I would love that.”
Your face was on fire but you had gotten that out surprisingly confidently. Junhee thought for a moment while you tried hard not to let your nervousness show.
“Okay.”
He came back and three of you entered the room you had left before. Donghun closed the door and pushed you and Junhee against it. Junhee’s back was pressed to the door, you to his chest and Donghun was behind you. You could feel his breath on your neck, hot against your cool skin, and then his lips made contact. They moved down to the nape of your neck and you gasped. Junhee, who had been taken aback, started to move too. He cupped your face and brought your lips together. It felt like coming home after a hard day. Your hands dug into the fabric of his shirt. It was thin, too thin to keep the heat of his body from escaping. Junhee was an amazing kisser, but the way his thumb brushed over your face made your heart flutter even harder. It was so tender.
When Donghun switched to the other side of your neck you sighed into the kiss, starting to feel wound up. Being sandwiched between these two guys was hot, figuratively and literally. Donghun pulled away and you seized the opportunity to get some air. Junhee’s lips were redder than before, slightly swollen. It suited him well.
You turned around and grabbed Donghun’s shirt. He let himself be pulled in, as you leaned back so Junhee was still pressed against the door. Donghun’s lips were full and warm. The kiss started a bit more tentative but he got bolder fast. You revelled in the feeling of Donghun’s tongue in your mouth and the little gasps Junhee made, when you ground your ass against his hips. It was always lovely to hear him, to the point where you suspected a little kink coming in.
Donghun pulled away when it started to get interesting.
“I think Junhee really wants to take your clothes off.”
A wicked smile appeared on Donghun’s face. You looked over your shoulder at a very flushed Junhee.
“Now that you mention it, he has been very weird since it put them on…”
He bit his lip and avoided your eyes. His shirt was asking to be unbuttoned. You ran your hands up, over his chest to his shoulders.
“Tell me.”
“You’re wearing my clothes. It’s so hot.”
There was fire burning in his eyes as he said that. You had never worn his clothes before and the thought had never crossed your mind either. Now however you felt your face burn. You agreed, it was hot.
Junhee’s hands flew to your hips and began moving up. The palms of his hands ran over your sides as he pushed the shirt up and over your head. A kiss followed, but he cut it short and spun you around.
“Take his shirt off.”
You huffed but did as he wished. Donghun was slightly more built than Junhee and your hands flew to his chest as if it was magnetic. He watched your face as you ran your hands off his hot skin. Being shirtless was the optimal way to get as much of your skin against his. You wrapped your arms around his middle and kissed his neck. He even let his head sink to the other side to give you better access. Donghun was undeniably worked up as evident by how hard he was against you.
“Tell me, how do you want to go about this?”
They had both lost their clothes and you did not know where to look. Junhee was the most gorgeous person in every room he had ever entered and Donghun with his longer hair and piercings was positively breathtaking.
“I mean don’t think we have time for …ehm I don’t know if you like it..”
“In the butt?”
You offered flatly. Poor Junhee it’s not easy for him too, today.
“Maybe Donghun can fuck me and I will take you to my mouth?”
It sounded obscene to say out loud and your face had not stopped burning since this started.
“Fine with me. Junhee?”
He only nodded with a tense face. You got on the bed deciding doggy style was the way to go today.
“Do you have condoms?”
“Yes.”
Junhee opened his suitcase and rummaged inside. Donghun used the time to run his hand down your back to your ass and give it a squeeze. His fingers came down to your clit and he circled it. A sigh escaped you and you let your head sink to the mattress as he continued to rub it. One finger entered you, curled up inside and left too soon.
“Here.”
Junhee sat on the bed by your head. He patted your hair and you came back up to your hands.
“Are you ready?”
“Yes, start already,” you whined.
He did not waste any more time and pushed in. You moaned at the wonderful feeling of being filled. This whole day had put you on edge and now it was finally paying off.
“You feel so good Hunnie. Don’t stop.”
His rhythm faltered when you said that. I hit a nerve, haven’t I?
“Fuck me harder, Hunnie.”
He grunted disapprovingly but his thrusts came harder now. You did not know if it was the nickname or something else that he liked. Junhee sat on the bed watching with an uncomfortable looking erection. It was hard to hold yourself up on one hand, so you got down on your elbow and used your other hand to stroke Junhee. He closed his eyes and bit his lips, so he did not see it coming when you took him into your mouth. His hips jerked and it took everything from him not to thrust up.
Donghun had slipped out when you had moved forward without warning. He ran his tip down to your swollen clit and back up, circling your entrance just to make you go insane.
Unfortunately you could not say anything about that because you were busy with Junhee. When he finally pushed back in, it was with a pace that was neither fast nor slow, but made up for it with force. You moaned and had to get your mouth off Junhee who was breathing very controlled. That, you had seen before. He was closed but did not want to come yet.
“Junhee, let me hear you, please.”
The control he had on his breathing broke and he moaned as stroked him. You clenched around Donghun at the sound, breathy and beautiful.
“Oh, Junhee, so good, so gorgeous, don’t stop.”
He shuddered at the praise and moaned again, louder this time. The sound almost pushed you over the edge. Almost.
You rested your head on his thigh and watched as he calmed down.
Donghun leaned forward and his breath tickled your neck.
“Do you want to turn around?”
“Sounds good.”
While the doggy style had been enjoyable, it was also unlikely for you to come in it. Donghun’s face was tense and his hair stuck to his sweaty forehead, when he entered you again. This time you were on your back and wrapped your legs around his hips. He let you control the pace and settled for kissing your chest. His tongue ran over your nipple and you flexed your inner muscles for more friction. You were so close now, your fingers tangled in his hair and legs guiding him into the perfect pace. His moan came so unexpectedly. He had been very quiet before but now his wonderful voice came out. You came to his moan in your ear.
A few erratic thrusts later he collapsed on top of you.
Epilogue
Chan had his arms crossed and glared as you exited the house into the garden. A sour expression on his face. He sat completely alone in front of a dwindling camp fire.
“Seriously?”
He pouted but instead of funny it looked hurt.
“Everyone is off, having sex and I’m here alone.”
“Chanie..”
He looked away sulkily as Donghun tried to contain the damage.
“Maybe.”
You sat down on his lap which caught him by surprise.
“Maybe next time you say something beforehand.”
His hair was beautifully soft and twisted a finger in it. Mouth wide open he could not say a word.

Música: Higher- A.C.E
