I love your take on Crowley!

I know that the early, non-Diasomnia stories aren't really your thing, but are you reading the novels at all?

I have been following some of the fan translations and the second book seems intense! Would love to hear what you think about them.

thank you! 💚💚💚 I'm not really sure why you think I don't like the earlier arcs though, I love pretty much all the characters and their storis! (I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.

that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...

I couldn't resist drawing another flavor of Nightmare for @glaniak's open collab, Icecreammare! This was actually my very first idea (I had 4 in total but won't have the time to draw the last 2, at least before the collab closes. Maybe later I'll make my own little buffet with the 4 flavors?) and I just couldn't let it go even after already drawing the Galaxy flavor.

So! This one is rainbow-flavored, with a bitty twist! Just imagine scooping one of them babies, each has a flavor of his own (and a personality too! XD)

Anyway, this was so so fun, and now I'm really craving ice cream.

One of the best - and saddest - punchlines in RGU is when Touga tells Miki to claim his precious things before somebody else takes them away, and then Akio proceeds to do exactly that to Touga by grooming Utena. Granted, Utena is a baby lesbian so Touga never really had a chance, but the irony is there.

The design isn't super final, I can never really decide how I want the accents to look... trying to keep them in line with how the Askr trio's weapons look. Especially the signature color magic glow that's present in their special arts!!!

Anna has it too!!!!! You just don't see it bc her art gets cut off in game. Also, additional image bc you don't see the handle v well in her special.

Which is why, here, the green gem is most prominent on Moe's weapon.... geen....... idk if I'm keeping the other ones that look like the summoning circle orbs. It was just something I wanted to try out!

BUT. BUT. The Main Idea here is that Moe added its own touch to the staff. Yeah, the dangly halo was a Neat idea, but this concept is just so much funnier to me..... says SO much about Moe as a character... it is ALWAYS. Making and customizing things. I can also see Moe using the carabiner practically as well! Now, I wonder why it held onto those two feathers in particular... 🤔

HCs about everyone's aesthetic taste for furniture, environments, decoration?

siffrin - cozy, eclectic. throw pillows and knit blankets. shelves full of knickknacks. corkboards full of letters and drawings and cards.

mirabelle - cute, neat. wallpaper and posters. matching bins of craft supplies. kitchen stuff shaped like fruits and bathroom stuff shaped like ducks.

isabeau - inviting, purposeful. nicely carved wood. comfy matching couches and armchairs. big windows with the curtains tied open.

odile - minimalist, rich. dark shades, low lighting. heavy textbooks between nice bookends. thick, soft rugs.

bonnie - busy, natural. strings of shell and sea glass on the walls. piles of cool rocks, stacks of old papers. bold scenic quilts.

MAN your art, but especially the latest pieces of Walking Fire Friend and Sparkle Dog really have the vibes of like, sanrio?? I want stickers and half a dozen accessories with them plastered all over so bad

again and again i find myself lamenting that audio roleplay isn't taken more seriously by some people. like yeah, they often have a romantic element, and by nature they usually directly involve/address the listener- and i totally get that those things aren't to everyone's taste. no art or entertainment is universally appealing, and that's okay! but.. it still makes me a lil sad that the "cringe" reputation of asmr/audio rp precedes it. there's a whole lot of talent and creativity being poured into these audios by so many people that i feel goes unrecognized and/or disrespected simply due to the medium that the stories are being told through.

With all the relevant criticisms irt Larian's treatment of Wyll, I still won't leave people off the hook for completely ignoring him, though. He is a very interesting character, with a fascinating story. 'He's too good' so are Halsin and Karlach, and that doesn't seem to stop anyone from engaging with them. Halsin as a non-origin character has way less content than Wyll, and it's not as if his personality particularly evolves or if he has a very nuanced arc. Karlach may have more content than Wyll but has a very flat arc, with no development, so the most interesting outcome for her narratively is dying, but people hate engaging with that, because they're allergic to experiencing any emotions that aren't puppies and doggies positive. So, people aren't even getting the most out of her story, and she's still a fan favorite. Much in the way I know I'm not getting the most out of Wyll's story and he's still my favorite.

You have no excuses, saying 'he has less content' is no excuse because you love characters with equal amounts of content that are just as 'good' with no problem.
