since middle school, it’s been like a kind of dream to draw Gemma and do her justice

I keep seeing everyone talking about Jayce being the only person capable of saving Viktor. How in every universe Viktor chooses him.

But I don’t see anyone talking about how that means in every universe Jayce breaks his promise to destroy the hex core. In every universe Jayce can’t let him die, can’t let him go, chooses him over his morals, his integrity, his common sense.

So, let me start by saying I don’t know anything about DND at all.

I’m not familiar with the world or aware of well-known locations, deities, items etc, etc. Most if not all of the references in BG3 go right over my head—so I tend to look a lot of things up just so I have some frame of reference.

You may remember this conversation from the Epilogue with ‘Friend Gale’. If you turn down his initial offer for you to come be a guest lecturer, he’ll gently insist that you still come visit him, and offer you this to entice you:

It’s super sweet, right?! How could anyone resist an offer of a good dinner and some wine with a friend?

It just recently occurred to me that ‘Elverquisst’ sounded pretty fancy, it must be a DND thing too? At the very least I was sure it’d have some short description or reference, though I half expected it to just be a local Waterdhavian wine.

Elverquisst was ruby colored, "distilled from sunshine and rare summer fruits." It was smooth but flecked with gold. The Ancient Danger had two megaspiders, a spelopede, and four random naked Ancients. The two Ancients who were still alive were promptly shoved back into their cryptosleep caskets because ain't nobody got time for that.

Kwahu tucked himself up inside one of the newly vacated caskets, where he will sleep safely until his duplicate sickness can be cured.

Wow, that was far more anticlimactic than I was imagining

Nonetheless, Mechi is healed!! No more will he be plagued by nosebleeds and nauseating psychic connections to his new twin. In about six days, Melissa can heal Kwahu as well, and everything will be hunky-dory.
