While I don't have a problem with Haarleps existence, I don't like that Raphael is reduced to a joke on his behalf as if Haarlep is a replacement of equal value and he talks about Raphael with a wink as if it's expected of the player that we share his resentment for him. From a gameplay perspective the decision to implement a shapeshifter character was probably made for the purpose of being able to have "Raphael" shift into a woman so that dudes could get another romance scene as well. I'm saying this because the animation of that particular scene is clearly made with that dynamic in mind and only works if it's the female Haarlep on male player model or two males. Which is perfectly fine of course! But the end result we got is that men get both Mizora and Haarlep, while from your average womans pov it's just silly and pointless. So I think to make it more fair, the real Raphael should've been left as an option for the girls and those who prefer him. Could've had both.

I've seen so many posts that paint opposing smoking as some impossibly Loser-ish or puritanical stance and I really don't get it

it makes you, your house, and your clothing stink, destroys your teeth, and gives you lung cancer. opposing it is. Correct. obviously addiction is very complicated and quitting can be hard, but just saying "smoking is gross and harmful as a practice (including vaping)" is True and Right actually

Consistently shocked by the idea that people think Bradley Rooster Bradshaw is chill and laid back. He’s actually shockingly unchill. He is the opposite of chill. He did not inherent any of his parents chillness. He’s a loser who’s too invested in everything.

Like ya hi I’m Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw and I cut off my remaining family, surrogate father, and support system for 15 years cuz he pulled my naval academy papers because he didn’t want me to die like my biological father and because my mother wanted me to be free of the navy’s confinements and to exist outside of a system that physically uses me for their own power and political gains— gains I will never experience and feel for myself. i really want to believe people who say they have trauma around (people they perceive as) men but i am going to keep it a buck with y'all i don't think trauma triggers are a ticket to never having to deal with hard things. not even just about this, i really think it is your responsibility to handle your triggers so that you do not harm others for your own comfort. you cannot blacklist the world into revolving around you and taking that as a betrayal shows that you are not to be trusted with anything, ever

Occasionally I imagine some of my fav characters riding in the car with me when I drive somewhere… One day I was on the way back from getting groceries and fast food, and this came to mind:

Now every time I go to get fast food, I imagine Phantom recommending food he would like so he can steal it :) He also makes comments on my music taste, and Woodrow might occasionally join him on the trips to throw in some of the older songs like from the 50s or something into the playlist…. Or nature sounds- it makes the drive go faster for me!
