So a while ago my brain told me to do a redraw of the A Queda album cover with Caine and Pomni (yes this is my second time drawing her)

And lemme confess something to you real quick: there are two Glitch shows that really gave me vibes of different JD maps in two years in a row. First, Murder Drones was giving Heat Waves from last year, then this year it’s the Amazing Digital Circus that goes with A Queda

Okay so there's this band The Cog is Dead.

And heres is a showtime song from them.

I think I Love you - Disney Villain Style.

The band also have the song freak show ( about one but is found family)

And there's this vocaloid song called Carnival, that while the play on the words carnival-canibal does not fit Ragatha.

It's about an acrobat that no longer performs, and the resentment, anger, while a cheerful carnival song welcoming all to it Plays.

The youtuber Kathy-chan did a great english cover of it.

Who inspired your OC?:

Literally I mashed together the personality of two of my closest friends at the time and dialed it up to 111. He's intended to give off the vibe that he's so overwhelmingly dramatic and silly that any of the intimidation from his height is forgotten, as well as so loud and extra that ignoring him is a challenge.

Give me a song to define your OC:

A Queda by Gloria Groove? I discovered it by accident but it really does display the right amount of attention seeking and self deprecatory behaviour and suits him remarkably.

If I met your OC on the street, how would they greet me?:

He would mistake me for his friend Arty (long story) and probably ask who's with the dog back home.

(No one is. Everyone thought they settled it with someone else)

Can your OC be your best friend? Why?:

Absolutely. He's so much to deal with but he's really ride or die in the end and I know he'd be there for me.

I had a thik today, and I'd be happy if you could answer if some version of Joker would match the song "A Queda" by Gloria Groove or if that is or if it reminds you of another character. The parts that mostly come to me are the circus theme and the "acid" and the attitude from the lyrics. I think you can easily find some translations given the proportions this hit reached. Even appeared on Just Dance.

Also, I think more people should know this song

Oddly enough, despite his softer reputation, John Doe comes to mind. The attitude of the song is very taunting, sure, but it also talks about the singer being aware of their mistakes which I don't think is really the perspective of your average Joker. Joker has laughed at himself now and then, but in terms of a big production, he tends to focus outward and would more likely mock other people's errors and inability to connect. But with how John's story goes, particularly his villain route, I think the angle in the song works better for him rejecting his previous attempts to fit in somewhere and indulging his worst impulses instead.
