In an astounding display of gastronomic prowess, Joey Chestnut once again reigned supreme as the undisputed hot dog eating champion. The annual event, held in front of a captivated crowd, witnessed Chestnut devour an astonishing number of hot dogs, solidifying his status as a legend in competitive eating. With jaw-dropping determination, he consumed an incredible amount of calories throughout the contest, leaving spectators in awe. As he devoured each hot dog with lightning speed, the calorie count began to climb at an alarming rate. Chestnut's voracious appetite led him to consume a staggering number of calories, far surpassing what an average person might consume in a week. While the exact figure may vary from year to year, the sheer magnitude of his consumption leaves onlookers astounded. Behind the accolades and cheers lies a testament to Chestnut's unwavering commitment and unyielding appetite. His triumphs in the world of competitive eating continue to rewrite records and push the limits of human capacity. As fans marvel at his extraordinary feat, one thing remains certain: Joey Chestnut's insatiable hunger for victory and his remarkable ability to consume calories at an unparalleled pace have solidified his name in the annals of competitive eating history.
How many calories does Joey Chestnut consume?
Joey Chestnut, the legendary competitive eater, has captivated audiences with his astonishing ability to consume jaw-dropping amounts of food. As a true master of the sport, he has shattered records and set new standards, leaving fans and competitors in awe. One question that frequently arises is just how many calories does Joey Chestnut consume during his eating feats? Well, the answer is not a simple one. With each competition varying in duration and food type, it becomes challenging to calculate an exact figure. However, it is safe to say that Chestnut's caloric intake reaches astronomical levels. In events like the renowned Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, where he famously devours an extraordinary number of hot dogs, buns, and condiments in a limited timeframe, it is estimated that he consumes several thousand calories. The human body's average caloric needs pale in comparison to what Chestnut can devour in just a matter of minutes. It's important to note that Chestnut's eating abilities are exceptional and should not be considered a reflection of healthy eating habits. While his feats are undoubtedly impressive, they are performed under controlled conditions and not recommended for regular individuals. So, the next time you witness Joey Chestnut devouring an unbelievable amount of food, marvel at his extraordinary talent but remember to approach your own dietary choices with moderation and balance.
How do competitive eaters consume so much?
Competitive eaters possess a remarkable ability to consume vast amounts of food in jaw-dropping competitions that captivate audiences around the world. While the average person may struggle to finish a regular-sized meal, these athletes push the limits of their stomachs, showcasing incredible feats of gastronomic endurance. So, how do they do it? First and foremost, competitive eaters train extensively. They dedicate countless hours to expanding their stomach capacity through a process known as "stomach stretching." This involves gradually increasing the amount of food they consume over time, allowing their stomachs to adapt and expand. This training not only involves consuming large quantities of food but also focuses on developing efficient swallowing techniques to minimize discomfort and maximize speed. Another crucial aspect of competitive eating is mental preparation. These professionals employ various psychological techniques to overcome the body's natural signals of fullness and maintain focus during intense eating challenges. They often practice visualization exercises, mentally rehearsing their performances and envisioning success. Mental toughness and discipline play a significant role in pushing beyond the body's physiological limits. Moreover, competitive eaters employ strategic eating methods during competitions. They may use water or other liquids to help lubricate and soften the food, making it easier to swallow. They also rely on techniques like "chipmunking," which involves storing food in their cheeks temporarily, allowing them to continue eating while they chew and swallow. It's worth noting that competitive eating comes with risks and should not be attempted without proper training and guidance. These professionals undergo thorough medical check-ups and work closely with nutritionists to ensure their health and safety. In conclusion, competitive eaters possess a combination of physical training, mental fortitude, and strategic techniques that enable them to consume extraordinary amounts of food. Their exceptional abilities have turned this unique sport into a fascinating spectacle that continues to astound and entertain audiences worldwide.

Exploring Lebanese Fusion Cuisine: Modern Twists on Classic Flavours
Lebanese cuisine is celebrated for its vibrant flavours, fresh ingredients, and rich culinary traditions. While the classic dishes of Lebanon hold a special place in many hearts, chefs and food enthusiasts around the world are embracing the challenge of blending these traditional elements with modern culinary techniques. This exploration of Lebanese fusion cuisine reveals how innovative chefs are giving classic flavours a contemporary twist, creating a new and exciting culinary experience.
The Essence of Lebanese Cuisine
Traditional Flavours
Aromatic Spices and Herbs
Lebanese cuisine is characterised by its use of aromatic spices and fresh herbs. Common ingredients include garlic, lemon, parsley, mint, and spices like cumin, coriander, and cinnamon. These flavours combine to create dishes that are both robust and refreshing.
Staple Dishes
Staple dishes such as hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and kibbeh form the foundation of Lebanese culinary tradition. These dishes are often served as part of a mezze, a selection of small dishes that encourage communal dining and sharing.
The Rise of Fusion Cuisine
What is Fusion Cuisine?
Blending Culinary Traditions
Fusion cuisine is the art of combining elements from different culinary traditions to create new, innovative dishes. This approach allows chefs to experiment with flavours, techniques, and presentations, resulting in unique culinary experiences.
Global Influence
As global travel and cultural exchange have increased, so has the influence of different cuisines on one another. This has led to the rise of fusion cuisine, where traditional recipes are reimagined with ingredients and techniques from other cultures.
Modern Twists on Classic Lebanese Dishes
Hummus Variations
Avocado Hummus
One popular fusion twist on traditional hummus is the addition of avocado. This modern version combines the creamy texture of avocado with the classic flavours of chickpeas, tahini, and lemon, resulting in a rich and velvety dip.
Beetroot Hummus
Another contemporary take on hummus incorporates beetroot, giving the dip a vibrant pink colour and a slightly sweet, earthy flavour. This variation not only looks stunning but also adds a nutritional boost.
Innovative Mezze
Falafel Sliders
Traditional falafel, made from ground chickpeas and spices, is typically served in pita bread. A modern twist involves serving falafel as sliders, sandwiched between mini buns and topped with unique condiments like spicy harissa mayo or tangy pickled vegetables.
Lamb Tacos
Inspired by Mexican cuisine, lamb tacos with a Lebanese twist feature spiced lamb, tabbouleh, and a drizzle of tahini sauce, all wrapped in a soft taco shell. This fusion dish combines the bold flavours of Lebanon with the beloved format of tacos.
Main Course Fusions
Shawarma Pizza
Shawarma, a popular Lebanese street food, is traditionally made by roasting marinated meat on a vertical spit. For a modern twist, chefs are using shawarma-seasoned chicken or lamb as a topping for pizza, along with ingredients like garlic sauce, pickles, and fresh herbs.
Mujadara Risotto
Mujadara, a comforting dish of lentils, rice, and caramelised onions, is reimagined in the style of Italian risotto. By cooking the lentils and rice slowly in broth, the dish takes on a creamy texture, while the caramelised onions add a rich, savoury depth.
Fusion Desserts
Baklava Cheesecake
A Sweet Hybrid
Baklava, a traditional Lebanese pastry made with layers of filo dough, nuts, and honey syrup, is combined with the creamy richness of cheesecake in this fusion dessert. The result is a decadent treat that blends the best of both worlds.
Rosewater and Pistachio Ice Cream
Infusing classic Lebanese flavours into ice cream, such as rosewater and pistachio, creates a refreshing and fragrant dessert. This modern twist pays homage to traditional ingredients while offering a cool and contemporary finish to a meal.
Embracing Innovation While Honouring Tradition
Balancing Act
Respecting Origins
While fusion cuisine offers exciting opportunities for innovation, it’s essential to respect the origins of the dishes being reimagined. This means honouring traditional flavours and techniques, even as new elements are introduced.
Culinary Creativity
The beauty of fusion cuisine lies in its creativity and the ability to surprise and delight diners. By thoughtfully combining the familiar with the new, chefs can create dishes that resonate with both tradition and innovation.
Lebanese fusion cuisine is a testament to the versatility and enduring appeal of traditional Lebanese flavours. By incorporating modern techniques and global influences, chefs are crafting dishes that are both innovative and deeply rooted in cultural heritage. Whether you're a fan of classic Lebanese food or an adventurous eater looking for new experiences, the world of Lebanese fusion cuisine offers something exciting for everyone.

How to start the Keto Diet?
Starting the Keto Diet involves several steps. Here's a basic guide to get you started:
1. Research and Understand: Begin by researching the Keto Diet to understand its principles. The Keto Diet is a low-carb, high-fat diet that puts your body into a state of ketosis, where it burns fat for energy instead of carbohydrates.
2. Consult a Healthcare Professional: Before starting any new diet, especially one as restrictive as keto, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian. They can provide guidance tailored to your individual health needs. Read more
3. Calculate Your Macronutrients: Determine your daily calorie and macronutrient goals. In a standard Keto Diet, you typically aim for about 70-75% of your daily calories from fats, 20-25% from protein, and 5-10% from carbohydrates.
4. Plan Your Meals: Create a meal plan that aligns with your macronutrient goals. Focus on foods rich in healthy fats (e.g., avocados, nuts, olive oil), moderate protein sources (e.g., poultry, fish, tofu), and very low-carb vegetables (e.g., leafy greens, broccoli).
5. Start Slowly: Transitioning into ketosis can be challenging. Gradually reduce your carbohydrate intake over a week or two to minimize the initial side effects like the "keto flu."
6. Stay Hydrated and Get Enough Electrolytes: Ketosis can cause your body to excrete more water and electrolytes, so it's important to stay hydrated and consider supplementing with sodium, potassium, and magnesium.
7. Monitor Your Progress: Keep track of your food intake and monitor your ketone levels using keto test strips or a blood ketone meter to ensure you're in ketosis.
8. Be Mindful of Hidden Carbs: Carbohydrates can hide in unexpected places, so read food labels carefully and be mindful of sauces, condiments, and processed foods.
9. Include Fiber: While carbs are restricted, don't forget to include fiber from sources like low-carb vegetables and nuts to support digestive health.
10. Be Patient and Adapt: Everyone's body is different. It may take time for your body to fully adapt to ketosis, so be patient and make adjustments as needed.
Remember that the Keto Diet isn't suitable for everyone, and it's essential to prioritize your health and consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes. Additionally, it's not a one-size-fits-all approach, so personalized guidance is crucial for success.

got the cops called on me for the most hilariously sensible reason last night
So i have a new industrial piercing (my first piercing..! i love it •w•), and it got infected because of course it did, it's a cartilage piercing and i live outside. Context i've been living in my car for the past few weeks, which has been pretty good but one of the tradeoffs is i do not have a bathroom. The piercer told me if the piercing got infected I could soak it in saltwater, so i needed a source of 1. salt, 2. water that is warm or at least not the below-freezing ambient temperature i currently exist in.
Gas stations have both these things. (I have yet to purchase salt for my occasional propane stove cooking). Only problem is it was past midnight in a rural area, so I didn't find a 24 hour convenience store until around 100 miles into my route for the evening.
At 3 AM local time the store was inhabited by just One stern-looking employee who was mopping the floor. My grungy ass walks in carrying a small collapsible bowl and immediately begins casing the place like the world's shittiest thief, looking for those little free salt packets. I looked around the (empty, no hot food at 3 AM) hot dog stand and saw only wet condiments so i circled back around to the grocery section in case they were selling salt shakers I could buy. No luck so i desperately returned to the hot dog counter in case I missed the salt, and noticed a cabinet labeled CONDIMENTS below the dog cooker, which did conceal salt packets. I stuffed a handful of them in my pocket and hoped the mopping woman wouldn't ask, then pivoted to the bathroom where I locked myself for the next fifteen minutes.
I filled my bowl with hot water which was actually cool water but at least it wasn't frigid, and mixed salt into it and held it to my ear. After a few minutes the staff, who had been understandably watching me from around corners the entire time I was searching for salt, knocked on the door. I replied "hello?" and she didn't respond, so I assumed she was just checking if anyone was in there before she tried entering to continue mopping. I finished cleaning my sad little ear and bought a bag of yogurt pretzels as a gesture of good will because I felt bad for taking her salt and taking too much time in the bathroom when she needed to clean.
Enter The Pig. I had returned to my car and grabbed my first aid kit to apply antiobiotic ointment, when an officer entered the store. Trepidation when he arrived since I knew I was being a freak, but then i thought he was just doing his own shopping, then he came back out and approached my vehicle.
Rolled down my window and he asks what was going on in the bathroom. (What if i had been just taking a long shit??). So I showed him my ear and my bowl and explained, as Alertly, Calmly, and Soberly as i could after driving for multiple hours after midnight, to the face of someone who can ruin my life with a penstroke, that I was on the road and had to soak this infected piercing. Luckily it was a confused young cop who was too bewildered to inquire much further, not an old hardass who might start asking more challenging questions such as "where are you going" or "where are you staying tonight and why are you washing your ear at the gas station and not there." He clearly barely even looked at my car - asked if i was a local when my license plate is from two timezones away - and let me go without even collecting my information.
That was the sixth time that police have confronted me for acting outside social norms. The first time was because I was plucking an invasive plant species from the side of the road and he thought I was falling when I walked up & down the slope. The second time I was walking home alone at night, and maybe someone called because I had a backpack on and they thought I was trying to rob a house. I was just walking home from the train. The third time I had been biking home in the dark without a headlight, and i fell on my face and didn't know I was bleeding until a bastard pulled up and told me someone called because they thought I got hit by a car. The fourth time was when I fell in the river last winter and i was knocking on random doors asking for directions home to minimize my risk of hypothermia, and I suppose the woman who drove me home called to send someone to make sure i was okay? The fifth time was the first time I slept in my car, which ironically was before I started serially sleeping in my car. I was falling asleep on the highway after an all-nighter so I took the next exit and took a nap in my driver's seat at the end of a random residential street before I ended up on the news, and that's how I learned suburbanites are paranoid as all hell about anything out of the ordinary because a cop knocked on my window and asked me if I was drunk (who would say yes to that question?). Now I select my sleeping sites very carefully, which is probably the most annoying thing about hashtag vanlife, but I haven't gotten The Knock again yet and sometimes when I pull into random public lands after dark I wake up to mountains I've never seen before and that fuels my soul.
Lesson learned is that if you need to snort sodium chloride in a gas station bathroom at 3 AM, just have an ear piercing and dampen the hair around it and carry a bowl around, and you've got a story that's Too Weird To Be Making Shit Up.
#seriously how do y'all stay out of trouble#I Am Just Living My Life why does that incite so much suspicion.#this time was fair though i 1000% looked like a criminal who was about to drive home under an influence#blogging#FOLKS WHO FOLLOWED FOR ART I HOPE YOU ENJOY STORYTIME TOO LOL.#I saw THIRTEEN!!!! shooting stars while driving last night#i think that is a new personal record. was there a meteor shower? surely there was.#Two of them were bright enough to leave a dust trail.. ⭐︎つ⭐︎#mountain roads are so scary lol what do you Mean there is no guard rail on this narrow winding road that drops off into Death Zone#not to mention when there is snow on the road..?#my tires spun out the other night because i was clinging too close to the uphill side of the mountain and went off the road#in my defense i could not see the lines on the road on account of they were covered by snow#anyway i sunk deep but luckily i have 4WD so i could wiggle out without help#but the snow gripped my tires and pulled them in the opposite direction i was trying to go..#what if i was driving on the side facing downhill and slipped off the road and the snow gripped me.#best case scenario: car is Funked. worst case scenario Death#anyway i think my ear is slightly less painful & inflamed this morning..? i am going to go wash it at a much less sussy hour#the sky is so clear and bright here...#madly in love with the milky way.#i wonder how often ppl assume ppl are sneaking hard drugs when they actually have a completely legal reason to be acting strange.#not that i'm not living on the fringes of the law rn with the whole car thing and that's the only reason i had to be weird at a gas station#but like... lives be strange and complex and human behavior is rarely as simple as it seems there is always a story!

I have a Chenford prompt for you.
Lucy gets up the nerve to ask Tim to be her partner. Tim refuses but doesn't give a real reason. Ultimately he has to confess his feelings because he knows he hurt her.
I do apologize for such the long wait, but I hope this does your prompt justice! Enjoy! :)
Lucy Chen needed to find a new partner. Nolan had finally graduated from being a boot to a P2, leaving probation and Sergeant Grey had made the decision to partner John with Jackson in hopes of making the transition smoother. He had also appointed Lucy to work as a one man show. She knew the opportunity to work solo for any officer was always there and would always be there, but she also had her reasons for wanting to have someone sitting in the passenger seat two feet away from her.
Her week of riding solo was exciting but also nerve-wracking, the doubts that maybe she wasn’t ready for this lingered in the back of her mind every morning, as she moved to sit behind the wheel of the shop. The shifts went by smoothly, but she found being by herself to be desolate, having no one to talk to or no one getting upset when she messed with the knobs of the air conditioning.
Soon, the number of shifts and off days had accumulated into over a month and to put it simply, she was miserable being by herself, which she brought up the following week when she met Jackson and Nolan for lunch.
“Why don’t you ask Bradford? He doesn’t have a boot right now.”
Lucy hesitated before speaking, playing with the fork in her hand as she pushed a piece of lettuce around the bowl. “I’m not sure that’s a good idea.”
“You wouldn’t know unless you ask.” John pointed out as he observed his friend that sat across from him.
“It’s just…” she paused. “I don’t want to work alone. After everything that happened with Caleb and Rosalind and then going undercover a few months back. I really don’t want to work alone.”
Jackson and Nolan shared a look before Jackson took the opportunity to speak. “Lucy, why didn’t you say anything? When we get back, I’ll go talk to Grey and-“
“No! This is something that I need to do.”
Jackson changed the topic, showing his friends the picture Angela sent him earlier that morning of the baby smiling in their sleep as their lunch break ended, the officers returning to their respective shops. All too soon the numbers of the clock on the dash rolled to six o’clock, Lucy parking the shop back in between the white lines in the garage, removing her things before she returned her war bag and long gun. She made her way to the locker room, changing back into her civilian clothing, securing her off-duty weapon into the holster attached to the side of her jeans before grabbing her bag and heading out.
“Hey.” She heard someone greet as she walked across the parking garage, the person joining her by her side putting a smile on her face.
“Hey. I heard you had a fun day.”
The person grumbled, “Never thought I would be running out of a house full of bats before ten.”
“I just hate that I wasn’t there to witness Tim Bradford running away. I bet that had you regretting not taking that Sergeant position.” She teased as they approached her car, Lucy shaking her head at the sight of his truck next to hers.
“You’ll never get your hands on the vest footage Lucy.” He glared before his face softened. “I’ll never regret turning that position down. I kept my word, didn’t I?”
“That you did.” She smiled, readjusting the bag on her shoulder as she stopped at the rear of her car. “I’m actually glad that I caught you, I have a question I need to ask.”
Tim turned, leaning his back against the panel of his truck as he waited.
“I was wondering if we could possibly partner up. With Grey partnering Jackson and Nolan, I discovered that I don’t like working by myself, and I know that probably makes me look weak but I feel like-“
He stared her down as she rambled, her words threatening the sides of his mouth to turn upward as he fought back a smile.
“That doesn’t make you weak Lucy.”
“Maybe not to you but to someone else…” She sighed, turning her head to look away.
“Screw what other people think, they don’t know what we’ve-“ He stopped, shaking his head as he unconsciously took a step forward. “Their opinions shouldn’t matter.”
“But they do.” She told him honestly. “So, think you can handle working with me again?”
Tim took a moment to look her in the eyes before looking away, Lucy watching as something flickered behind his eyes before it disappeared.
“I can’t.”
Lucy took a step forward, her brow furrowed as she gently let go of the bag on her shoulder, the bag hitting the concrete. “Why not?”
“I can’t Lucy.” He said to her sternly.
“You’re not my TO Tim, you can cut the attitude.” She challenged before pushing the question once again. “Why not?”
He took a step forward, his arms crossing over his chest as his demeanor changed. “I may no longer be your training officer, Officer Chen but I am still your superior.” He told her, his tone laced with warning with every word he spoke.
“Respectfully sir, I deserve an answer.”
“One that I don’t have to give you.”
Lucy’s eyes searched his before she took a few steps back, turning around as she crouched down to pick her bag up off the ground. “You know I-“ She started as she turned back around to face him, adjusting the weight of the bag on her shoulder before thinking better of it. “Have a great evening, Officer Bradford.”
Tim watched as she got into her car, slamming the car door shut as she turned over the engine. Lucy sat behind the wheel, taking a deep breath before shifting the car into reverse and then into drive, leaving the parking garage. She couldn’t believe him, she thought to herself as she pulled off the highway and into a parking lot, steering her car towards the drive-thru of a sandwich joint. She ordered, messaging Jackson about the failure that was her evening as she waited for her food.
Twenty minutes later, her emotions had calmed down as she stepped onto the elevator of her apartment building. He was being unreasonable, she had decided as she chased the straw of the drink in her right hand, taking a sip as the bag of food on her right wrist swung freely. The thumb of her left hand scrolling through the social media feed on the phone as the elevator jolted to a stop on her floor. The heavy metal doors opened, allowing her passage as she stepped off the car, pocketing her phone as she pulled the keyring from around her left index finger.
“You’ve got to be shitting me.” She cursed in disbelief as she rounded the corner. “Talk about someone second guessing themselves.”
Tim looked up from where he stood beside her front door with his arms crossed, listening to her mumble, as the sound of heeled boots he knew could only belong to one person walked across the hardwood flooring of the narrow hallway.
“Unless you’re here to give me a damn good reason Bradford, I suggest you leave.” She told him as she stood a distance away from him, sliding her key into the deadbolt.
“I’m sorry Lucy.”
Lucy snorted, rolling her eyes as she removed the key, inserting it into the lock on the handle, turning the key left as the knob turned, opening the door. “If it makes you feel any better, your apology is somewhat accepted. But that still doesn’t give me a reason as to why, you are refusing to work with me.” She told him as she stepped through the threshold, placing her bags onto the kitchen island, pulling out the cardboard container that held her sandwich, the soft click of the door quietly shutting behind her telling her that her company had followed.
Tim walked further into the apartment, only stopping once he was across from her, the quartz countertop keeping the two separated. His mouth opened and closed as the words that were on the tip of his tongue failed to convey.
Lucy proceeded to ignore him as she moved around the kitchen, grabbing a plate out of the cabinet as she placed her sandwich and fries onto the dish, grabbing the handful of condiment packets out of the takeout bag. She grabbed the plate of food, walking past Tim and towards the couch.
“I love you.”
Lucy froze mid-step at the whispered confession, her heart accelerating as she waited with bated breath for him to continue.
“I have fallen in love with you Lucy Chen and I- I can’t be your partner, not in that sense.” He told her, glancing at her over his shoulder as he spoke, their backs still to each other as he turned around. “Out of everything that I have been through, this, loving you, scares the shit out of me.”
“You’re just saying that.” She whispered with glossy eyes, as she placed the plate in her hand down onto the coffee table, refusing to turn her body around.
Tim took a step forward, his hand reaching out to gently grasp the crease of her elbow. “I’m not. I look at you, and you’re home.”
Lucy hesitantly turned, his hand falling away as her gaze found his.
“I’m not just saying it, I mean it Luce. I love you.” He told her, enunciating those three words as he took a small step forward, lowering his forehead to rest against hers. “You have annoyed me more than I ever thought was possible, but I love you and I want to spend every irritating minute with you.”
Lucy could feel his uttered confession against her lips as her nose brushed against his, her hand pressing against his chest as she moved to stand on the tips of her toes. Her lips feathered against his, their breaths mixing as she took the final step. His lips were soft against hers, a hand tentatively wrapping an arm around the small of her back as Lucy’s hand crept away from his chest and towards the back of his neck, fingers carding through the short strands of dirty blonde hair as she attempted to pull him further into her.
The touches from fingertips were gentle and light as they tested the bounds of this new development, mouths opening under the tongue of the other as the soft kiss soon turned fervent and quickly spiraled out of control.
Lucy moaned into his mouth as the hand around her waist began to drift lower, her fingers curling into the stands of hair at the nape of his neck, her lungs protesting for air as he abandoned her kiss swollen lips.
“Is that a good enough reason?” He exhaled as he looked at the woman standing in his arms, a trance-like look on her face as she pulled back ever so slightly, to catch her breath.
“What?” she asked, shaking her head.
Tim smirked. “You asked for a damn good reason for me being here.”
“You know, I don’t know… Maybe we should discuss this some more.” She smiled as she used the hand on the back of his neck to pull him back towards her.
“That,” He whispered against her lips. “Sound like a good idea.”

Rating: Fluff so far
Length: 1.1k words
You didn’t know when this was all going to end you were getting tired of all the smiling employees and new rooms and you just wanted to sit and cry feeling betrayed by the pain inflicted on your poor ear. It throbbed and you sniffed as the boys were gestured to the room they all stood up and began looking around.
They were dragging you back and forth holding collars up to your neck. You found Jimin in the corner looking at a particular one and you walked over and sighed leaning your head on his arm and he blushed.
“I find soft for you” he said and you touched the soft black velvet choker and there was a gold chain on it that held a beautiful gold heart. You took it and put it on with the help of the mirror and you saw your reddened ear and frowned. “You don’t like it, okay”
“No I love it, I was looking at my ear” you smiled and grabbed his hands “Thank you, Jimin”
“Ah Noona neomu Yeppeoseo ah you so very pretty” Jungkook blushed and you thought he looked so cute. They got their phone and address on the back of the metal heart tag and your name on the front. The store bowed and said congratulations and the boys guided you outside to a small bus service and we were all being driven somewhere by the same business suit man.
Feeling nervous but also relieved to finally be out of that building, you watched the world go by out the window. It started raining and you smiled happily you arrived at a big building and everyone got out and took all your things from the vehicle and the business man drove away.
Everyone raced under cover but you stood in the rain your hands outstretched, ignoring the guys calling you over. Giggling at the feeling of the rain hitting your face you spun to face the boys smiling brightly. “I love when it rains”
“You are going to get sick” Namjoon shouted and you laughed and ran over and you all went inside and into the elevator. They opened their door and they all walked in taking off their shoes, you followed them and began removing your shoes.
“Stay there and we will get you a towel?” Namjoon said and Jungkook returned with a towel and you smiled drying your hair, you weren’t really that wet, you looked up at Namjoon who took the towel and began patting your hair and drying your feet and he let you inside. “This is your new home, what do you think?”
You didn’t say anything curiosity taking over and you began walking around looking into every open room. Heading down a hall way you peeked into an open room and saw Seokjin unbuttoning his shirt he winked. Your cheeks burnt red and you ducked your head and you spun on the spot and ran back to the living room.
You ran into Yoongi who leaned down to see what had spooked you so much. His voice was gentle and he spoke quietly and slowly so as not to scare you further. “You fine, you fine” He said his hand gently rubbing your arm, “Why so scared?”
“I um walked in on Seokjin changing” You blushed and he was translating in his head and you decided to try again gesturing to your clothes “Seokjin Clothes off”
“Ah yes very scary” he gave you a gummy smile and lead you to a door and when he opened it you saw Taehyung and Hoseok folding and hanging your clothes. “This, this is yours”
The room was narrow and long it was like a walk in closet, and you noticed there wasn’t a bed. You didn’t say anything but you knew for a fact you weren’t going to sleep in any of the boys rooms. You hardly knew them, your plan would be to take a pillow and blanket and stay in this room on the floor.
You left the small room and sat in the living room when Namjoon approached you and smiled he held a small box in his hand. He seemed nervous and he stuttered a little as he spoke “It’s customary for applicants to present gifts to their femme and um, this was my mothers, it’s a book on her experience as a femme and I thought it might help you adjust and any questions you might have.”
“Thank you Namjoon that means a lot to me” you smiled and placed the book back into the small box and carried it back to your closet like room. You had also took this as an opportunity to make a small nest with blankets and pillows in the corner. On the way back to the living room the news was playing. The boys had added English closed captions for you which was appreciated.
“Today marks a step in right direction, Masc Research has announced the first male pregnancy has been a success the Masc name is Kwon Jiyong and he gave birth just this morning and both Pammy and Baby are glowing in this photo. Kwon Jiyong is the Masc to four proud fathers.”
The television was switched off and Jimin smiled announcing that dinner was ready, you all headed over to the table. The table was filled with plates of dishes you had never seen before. Soup and rice bowl in front of everyone their was something that looked like cabbage but covered in perhaps tomato paste it was so red. There was a plate of seaweed sheets and a plate of something almost like sliced vegetables in a sauce with sesame seeds on top. The main dish was a fish in the middle of the table it had sauce and shallots.
You watched how Seokjin and Jungkook ate and copied each of their movements. When Jin ate some fish you did too, when Jungkook tried one of the sliced vegetables in sauce, you followed this action. However you found out they were chewy and in fact not vegetables. It was your favorite dish so far. The chopsticks were a bit of a challenge but you got use to them quickly.
You watched Jungkook put something on his meet and rice so you did too only to find out it was spicy. Whining and fanning your mouth, you took a drink of water but the burn seemed to spread making you feel warm. Hoseok ran off and came back with a glass of milk, you drank it and it eased the burn minutely.
Once the burn was gone you continued eating and remembered to ask about each dish and condiment before eating it. Your hand started cramping from the chopsticks.

RECIPE: Pasta e fagioli (from The Dinner Plan by Kathy Brennan and Caroline Campion)
We start thinking about this beloved Italian peasant soup as soon as the temperature starts to drop. Basically “pasta and beans”—pasta e fagioli, often pronounced “fazool” in the States—in a tomatoey broth, it has all the appeal of tomato and noodle soups with added heartiness from the legumes. We like to round it out with some spinach, although it’s not necessary, and follow the tradition of topping the soup with Parmesan cheese (be generous!). We also like to add olive oil, preferably the good stuff. As the renowned Italian chef Lidia Bastianich of Felidia in New York advises, drizzle olive oil on a dish before it’s served to give it a “smile.”
Serves 4 to 6
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 yellow onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
One 28-ounce (794-g) can crushed tomatoes
Leaves from 4 sprigs fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Large pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
1 cup (180 g) ditalini or other small pasta
One 15.5-ounce (439-g) can cannellini beans, drained
2 large handfuls of baby spinach (optional)
Good olive oil
Freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are softened, about 6 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes (reserving the can), thyme, and pepper flakes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Fill the tomato can with about 3 cups (720 ml) water, then stir the water into the tomato mixture and season with salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then stir in the pasta. Reduce the heat and briskly simmer, stirring often, until the pasta is just al dente, about 9 minutes. Stir in the beans and spinach (if using) and simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes. Check the seasonings. Serve with the olive oil and cheese.
Make Ahead: Prepare to and keep, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you’re making the soup more than 1 day ahead of time, cook the pasta separately and add it to the soup before serving because it absorbs liquid and expands over time.
Staggered: Serve hot or warm. We actually think it tastes better when it’s cooled a bit. Reheat over medium heat, stirring often and adding a splash of water if it has thickened up (unless you prefer it more stew-like).
From the authors of the IACP award-winning cookbook KEEPERS, an entirely new and personalized approach to tackling the dinner dilemma.
Between juggling work, family activities, mismatched schedules, and often bare refrigerators, there are all sorts of situations that make weeknight cooking a universally challenging—and frustrating—experience. The Dinner Plan offers five meal strategies—Make-Ahead, Staggered, One-Dish, Extra-Fast, and Pantry—that will help get dinner on the table no matter what the workweek throws at you. The 135 recipes—from main dishes to sides to salads and “lifesaver” condiments—provide lots of practical options whether time is super-tight, you haven’t had a chance to run to the store, or everyone is coming home at a different time.
And most importantly, all of the recipes are “keepers”—brag-worthy, reliable, crowd-pleasing preparations that you’ll confidently turn to again and again. Shrimp Scampi, Sheet-Pan Chicken Fajitas, Foolproof Carbonara, and Mexican Skillet Lasagna are just a few examples of doable recipes that will earn their place in any busy cook’s repertoire. Rounded out with plenty of tips and a bonus section on healthful snacks called The Forgotten Meal, The Dinner Plan is every home cook’s indispensable weeknight dinner guide.

17 Practiced Weight-Loss Tips
Losing weight is not ever easy and there’s no one tip that’s going to change that. Though, it also doesn’t have to be as complex a process as many of us make it by counting every calorie or disrobing our diet of whole food groups while trying to follow violently preventive diet plans.
As an alternative of accepting a radical or all-encompassing method, try accepting a series of healthy customs and making them an essential part of your eating monotonous. As your good habits start to outweigh the bad, you may well find that losing weight and, critically, upholding a healthy weight become natural to you. And you’ll get to keep on eating carbs through.
Underneath you’ll find 17 tips that can put you on the path to weight loss. You don’t have to try to take on all 17 at once. In fact, we’d certainly advise against trying that, because you’ll surplus manually and rapidly lose incentive. Pick a few to start with that you think you can achieve, then keep coming back and adding more in to your lifestyle. Before too long you’ll find that the fit choice becomes your first choice in all kinds of situations, and when you add all those composed, you’ll be losing weight without even thinking about it.
1. Be Truthful
“Time and again, patients say to me that they are dissatisfied that they have ‘only’ lost a pound in a week,” says George Hamlyn-Williams, principal dietitian at The Hospital Group. “The realism is that one pound (454g) of fat equates to around 3,500 calories. This means that over the week the pound was misplaced, they have eaten on average 500 calories less per day – a massive attainment! It’s so easy to eat or drink an additional 500 calories – two standard 50g bars of chocolate would do it. But, to eat 500 calories less is much more hard and to be reliable with it is even more challenging – so give yourself a break and pat yourself on the back if a pound comes off. Dredge up, if you keep going, that’s 52lb (23.5kg) over a year – over 3½ stone!”
2. Get Aware With Portion Sizes
“If you’re watchful of portion sizes you can say goodbye to calorie including,” says Kerri Major, a listed dietitian and SENr sports dietitian, and author of The Dietitian Kitchen. “It can be valuable to look at the optional portion size on food packaging and see what you’re eating in comparison with this.
“Using your hands to get a coarse idea of an suitable serving size can also be a really valuable tool. This is never going to be 100% accurate, but it’s a simple and valuable way of helping you get the right portion sizes.”
Here’s Major’s general advice for the portions that make up a stable meal.
· Protein 1 palm-size portion
· Carbohydrates 1 handful of complex carbohydrates, characteristically wholegrain diversities
· Vegetables 2 handfuls of non-starchy vegetables such as broccoli, mushrooms or salad leaves
· Healthy fats 1 thumb-size portion
Furthermore, a share of fruit is one piece of whole fruit, like a banana, or one handful (about 80g if you have scales to hand), and Major counsels aiming for three helpings of dairy or dairy replacements a day. “Helping sizes of dairy vary contingent on the product,” says Major. “Once more, I endorse checking the food label, which typically indicates an suitable serving size.”
Of course, what’s precisely right for you be contingent on a number of things, counting how active you are. If you’re hesitant how much you should be eating, Major proposes seeing a registered dietitian.
3. Start Slight
“When set new goals, focus on two to three small, truthful goals at a time and work on attaining them before working towards any more,” says Major. “If you want to start working out more, don’t go from zero to 100. That will be a tremor to the system and something that is hard to stick to. Plan to workout once or twice a week originally, at a time that is good and sustainable for you, before you plan to upsurge your sessions further. Make sure whatsoever the goal is, it is SMART – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-Based.”
4. Don’t Rely On Inspiration
“Numerous persons depend on inspiration to keep them going when it comes to working out and eating well,” says Major. “Yet, incentive comes and goes, and it’s never there when you want it or need it most. The key is to create hale and hearty habits and become disciplined – two things that can bail you out when incentive is low.
“Hale and hearty habits can be something as humble as taking the stairs as an alternative of the elevator or walking instead of taking the car. Being controlled is showing up and doing something even if inspiration is at an all-time low. We all know that we regularly feel a million times better for doing something that we know is good for our health than not doing it at all.”
5. Drink additional water
The rapidest and easiest way of plummeting calorie intake is to drink more water. A study of more than 18,000 adults found that cumulative daily water ingesting by just 1% resulted in the intake of 70 less calories, while drinking three extra glasses dropped calorie intake by 205. Reduced sugar ingesting was a main aim for the calorie discount, according to the Journal Of Human Nutrition And Dietetics.
6. Be careful added sugars
These can tiptoe into all kinds of foods that you might not imagine to be full of the sweet stuff, like condiments and shop-bought sauces. “Opting for foods deprived of added sugar is a must,” says Jonny Mills, coach at boutique fitness studio Sweat It. “Sugar spikes your blood glucose and if you don’t burn it off it’ll be stored as fat.”
7. Promotion your tastes
“Make it calmer for yourself to make better choices,” says individual trainer Jess Wolny. “The phrase ‘learned taste’ is basically jobless for food – all your tastes are acquired, so acquire healthier tastes and you’ll want to eat on the mend. Make the change to black coffee in its place of cappuccinos or dark chocolate rather than a slab of Dairy Milk, and after a few weeks you’ll never want to go back. One good tip is to try to recall you’re a grown-up and you eat like one. When reaching for a snack, think: would a child want this? Don’t rely on willpower – this stuff isn’t supposed to be hard.”
8. Stay liable
“Being liable to manually goes hand in hand with sustenance from friends and family,” says private instructor and physique trainer Phil Graham. “Liability comes in numerous forms – it could be just a aptitude to yourself or telling the whole world via social media – but it’s vital for keeping you driven when the going gets threatening. And a provision network is also vital for times when things go wrong and you need to get back on track. Even healthier, find somebody who has been there and done it themselves because their advice and vision can be priceless.”
9. Record what you eat
“Script down what you intake is a best method of following your eating lifestyles,” says private trainer Adam Jones. “Does your nourishment vary on vacations or under times of stress? To go one step additional, you could do this with a exercise spouse and show each other what you’re consumption. No one requirements to note McDonald’s or Krispy Kremes if they’re in approachable struggle.”
10. Clean out your closets
“If I am trying to get lean I won’t keep foods at home I know I should be evading,” individual coach at UP Fitness Marbella Shaun Estrago. “Even if you have astonishing determination it can be almost unbearable to get in after a very long day and eat the food you know you should when there’s a stack of delicious extravagances just an open closet door away.”
11. Indulge manually
“The number one importance in any fat loss task is obedience,” says David Godfrey, presentation director at One Performance UK. “If you can’t withstand the programme in the long period you’ll not ever attain your goal – or you’ll just ricochet as soon as you do. Compute your calorie target for the week and permit 10% of that to come from your favourite foods. Maximum persons feel like they’re unprincipled when they intake their favourite foods, so integrating them into your nourishment strategy assist maintain you on track deprived of guilt or painful expense. The psychological impression of this is huge.”
12. Don’t depend on on fat burners
“At finest fat burners are an lavish mixture of caffeine, green tea and other components designed to increase the metabolism or mobilise fat,” says private mentor and fitness model Sean Lerwill. “At foulest you may be taking be something harmful to your health. Voluminous persons take a fat burner as an reason to skip the gym when they’re weary (frequently for the reason that they aren’t eating adequate) or short on time, in the incorrect confidence that it will do the job as a replacement for physical training. Nevertheless even if your fat burner does mobilise fat you still need to keep fit to burn it off or it will just continue to be stored.”
13. Eat gut-friendly diets
“Nutrient preoccupation through the gut is the key to successful weight loss,” says Matt Warner, head of personal training at Ultimate Performance Manchester. “Tenderness of the gut lining can avert fascinating nutrients, which can make you more starving and knock your hormones out of wallop, heartening fat storage. Evade foods that you’ve found to cause gut uneasiness and eat more fibre (veg) and omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin D3 (oily fish), as well as taking a high-quality probiotic to refill your gut with good microbes.”
14. Make your own diets
“If you don’t make your personal food then you can only predict at what you’re really eating in terms of calories, macronutrients (carbs, fats and protein), micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and fibre,” says personal trainer Gus Martin. “If you don’t have a clear impression of what you’re eating, you simply can’t cane to the everyday restrictions needed to create a calorie deficit, which is when your body has no choice but to burn fat stores.”
15. Boss the supermarket
“The most significant session of the week for fat loss isn’t in the gym, it’s in the supermarket,” says individual coach Steve Kowalenko. “The selections you make when you’re food shopping will control how well you set yourself up for the week in advance so buy, cook and eat real food. Maintainable long-period weight loss is about etching good habits and that all starts with what you put in your food basket.”
16. Don’t shop starving
“Shopping starving leads to bad thoughts,” says listed nutritionist Sophie Thurner. “We all know it and yet we all still do it. That three-for-two proposal looks so tempting, and then you end up getting three of the not-so-healthy things, which you’ll have to finish, because nobody of us like to waste food. Have a detailed list of matters you need for a beleaguered, well-organized approach without the risk of buying things you don’t need.”
17. Keep healthy food
“Confirm you have hale and hearty small amount of food obtainable,” says Thurner. “That can be anything from hummus or lodge cheese with carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers or celery, or a hard-boiled egg and a wholegrain cracker, to some Greek yogurt with fresh berries. Stock your pantry with nutritious staples such as tinned chickpeas and tinned tuna, and have some frozen veg and herbs in the freezer.”

you’ve never been a clean person who has their shit under control
especially when it comes to keeping your own room clean
so how are you supposed to keep a whole apartment tidy
when you first moved into your new place that solely belonged to you,,, you thought everything was great because
you were a grown ass adult
to an extent at least
and you didn’t have your parents lecturing you and ordering you to tidy up your room,,,,, you are now an independent person who doesn’t need any help and can function on their own
or so you thought
two weeks in and your place has turned into the dumpster from hell
you did wash the dishes,,,, somewhat and did the laundry,,,,,, somehow
but because you are too lazy to take out the trash, you keep trying to stuff all of the garbage into the same trash bag even though there is no room to fit in anymore
okay you admit keeping a flat clean is a challenge
your tidiness may not be topnotch but your likability towards your neighbours makes up for it
except with one person,,,, namely the one who lives right next to you
alias lee jihoon
it’s not that you hate him or vice versa (you hope)
but more of,,,,,,,, he doesn’t talk a lot and you don’t see each other frequently
which surprises you as you even meet neighbour seungcheol more often and he lives like three levels below you
and it’s hard to build up a conversation with jihoon
there are two ways how a poor attempt to crack his shell will end up
either he shows his disinterest
or you can already tell by his body language that he feels uncomfortable and doesn’t want to talk
what am i saying it’s almost the same
but what you DID pick up was that lee jihoon is NOT an asshole
he may be quiet and hard to approach but he is not detestable!!!!!
whenever one asks him for favors he usually,,,,,,
R E J E C T S
you tried your luck several times
it always ended up with the same result but different words
“no”
“ask someone else”
“how about n o”
“i’m busy”
“that’s not my forte”
“oh look at the time i gotta go!!!!”
“jihoon,,,,, it’s eight in the evening and f r e e z i n g what do you want to do outside”
“i got a gig”
“but it’s a holiday,,,,,,”
“look that was me trying to reject you nicely now pLS STOP ASKING ME Y/N”
oKaY lee jihoon is an ass
you wonder,,, have you done anything wrong???
bc even when yOU offer yOUR help to HIM he shuts you down
“it’s fine!!!!!!”
“this is fragile i don’t trust anyone holding this”
“jihoon i’m not a klutz i swear you’ll trip and break it yourself”
“that’s what mingyu told me too and when i accepted his help that one time, he was the one who tripped and broke it so N O”
this dude can get grumpy
but when he is super extra grumpy and lets it all out on you he’ll realize his mistake and apologize
point proven that jihoon is not e n t i r e l y an asshole
remember you are a messy person?
well your parents decided to visit you on saturday
and they announced their surprise visit the day before
and that equals to you being DOOMED
your place is still a whole dumpster and all you have in the kitchen are frozen pizza, ramen noodles, eggs, condiments and candy
which means you are DOOMED X2
you know that you’re not able to clean the mess and go shopping in one day,,,,, it’s too much
hell you’re probably busy cleaning all night long into the morning because yes THATS HOW MESSY IT IS
you need help and p r o n t o
since mingyu has the reputation of being the cleanest one in the entire apartment block you try to ring him up,,,,,, but he’s currently not in town dsakjhdkj
and you don’t even try to ask seungcheol bc he’ll pull a dad on you and lecture you
knowing that all the others have their own schedules and you’re not all too close to them it seemed inappropriate to ask them
which only leaves jihoon as your last hope
so you rush over to his door and bang so long until he opens the door with an exasperated sigh like he already knows what you’re about to ask
“JIHOON PLS HELP ME IF YOU VALUE MY WELLBEING”
he’s about to slam the door shut but you manage to keep it open with your foot
“I AM SERIOUS LEE JIHOON”
“you asked and this is my answer y/n”
“my parents are coming over and i need to seem like a functioning adult who is able to take care of themselves and their apartment but i don’t have any food left and i can’t go out shopping anymore so pls help me!!!!”
he blinks as he processes your words and then asks
“aha,,,,,, and you want me to,,,,,?”
“can i pls have some of your food???”
“are you c r a z y OF COURSE NOT!!!!”
of that took the last straw
and the door falls in its lock in front of your face
you bang on his door and whine around being the extra and desperate person you are
but as you realize he’s not going to fall for it you give up
this is a challenge you have to get through your own
even if it is going to cause you a lot of pain
aka your mom’s i tOLd yOU sO
when it comes to food you just have to improvise and say you had a huge gathering a few days ago and used up all of your food
yeah that seems like a good excuse
they’re definitely going to buy it,,,,,,, you hope
you were right with your prediction that you’d need the entire day and morning to clean up your place
and you have enough time left to go take a shower
tbh you’re still very anxious about the food problem
but well now it’s too late to think about it it’s time for improvisation
cue someone rings the bell and ofc it’s your parents
they’re quite impressed that you managed to have a clean place wow
and everything seems to run smoothly
until your dad decides to be t h a t guy and ask when it’s lunch time
“yeah about that,,,,,, i was thinking about something simple like pizza!”
and your mom sends you a suspicious look
“y/n you love to cook tho,,,,”
“i’m feeling a bit tired that’s why”
“well then we can all cook together!!”
oh s h o o t
your dad has the AuDACitY to head to your kitchen
when the doorbell suddenly makes a sound
you quickly run over and your jaw almost drops when you see the person in front of you
bc your parents are nosey and curious they stand behind you to see them
“hey,,,, i’m not too late am i??”
it’s jihoon with like 3 grocery bags in his hands
but what’s more
jihoon is fucking s m i l i n g
like a shy type of smile and you are sO perplexed because??? what went over him ????
your mom was first to react
“y/n i didn’t know you were in a relationship??? whatta surprise hELLO I AM Y/N’S MOM AND YOU ARE?? WAIT A SEC,, COME IN FIRST”
“mom we’re not-”
“it’s alright,,,, hello i’m jihoon,,,,,,”
did he just indirectly confirm that you were d a t i n g
in front of you parents
but they don’t seem to mind actually they are dELiGHTed
while your mom pushes him into the kitchen and asks him all kinds of things your dad stays behind with you and gives you the pat of approval
“looks like a nice guy,,,, how did you two meet??”
“dad we’re neighbours”
“i see,,,,,, love comes in all different kinds of situations huh”
not him too sdkjhdskj
somehow it ended up in the four of you cooking lunch together,,,,, what
“play along” jihoon mumbles quietly before he returns to chopping the vegetables and then asks in a normal conversational tone
“babe can you boil this already?”
did he just call you b a b e
in front of your parents
WHY DOESN’T YOUR DAD OR YOUR MOM SEEM TO MIND WHY ARE THEY FINE WITH THIS
nonetheless you roll with it
and after a while you get used to it as well as with jihoon’s sudden touches like squeezing your hand reassuringly
and by the time you’re all at the table you nearly forget that the couple thing was just a front
and jihoon’s actually laughing at your dad’s lame jokes once in a while and you swear your mom is just w h i p p e d
by the time your parents are about to leave
your dad has some friendly talk going on with jihoon and your mom quietly remarks
“y/n tell me asap when you’re thinking of sealing the deal with him i can’t wait to play wedding planner!!!!!!”
and you’re like mOM PLS
if they only knew
and then they FINALLY leave
but ofc mother couldn’t leave without hugging you and jihoon first
when you turn around jihoon expression went from happy back to the indifferent and grumpy asshole jihoon
you start to go slow and test the waters
“uh, thanks for that you were my lifesaver!!!! but uh,,,, you didn’t have to say that we were a couple”
“i just went with what i thought would be most believable,” he deadpans and wants to leave to but you hold him back
“what is it???”
“was it then really necessary to call me babe????”
and boom he stays silent but instead he turns red
a small smile makes its way to your face
“can it be that you like me hmmm?????”
“you owe me 20 bucks y/n i sacrificed that much money for your food”
“what if i say i like you too hm ???”
he scrunches his nose in disgust but sadly for him it just looks so adorable because by then he is flaming red and you can’t take him seriously anymore
“don’t get ahead of yourself,,”
he turns to leave but in the last moment he faces you
and tugs on your collar
and pull you closer to him
and plants a peck on your cheek
“you know what? forget the 20 bucks”
THEN he quickly leaves your place and your smile turns into a grin followed by a victory dance
point proven that jihoon is NOT AN ASSHOLE AT ALL
although he says not to pay him back the 20 bucks
you still don’t tbh oops
instead you ask him out
and for the first time
he says yes
