So, you know how there's a boat load of Welcome Home AUs floating around?

Well, now there's one more!! (And even more given some time!)

Let me introduce you to my first Welcome Home AU:

Children's Hospital AU!!

In this AU, all of our lovely neighbors are staff at the town's local Children's Hospital, which is officially titled the "Healthy Home Children's Hospital", or HHCH for short! This AU doesn't really have any spooky or funky elements to it, as I was pretty desperate for ideas that haven't already been done when I thought of it. Although, this AU does serve its purpose in being very cute and wholesome, and I'm sure that it could make for some fun content!

Anyways...

Let us first start with the Doctors!

Doctors Darling, Joyful, and Frankly have bested too many years of medical school and are now here to take care of their young patients! Both Dr. Wally Darling and Dr. Julie Joyful are physicians, and they can be found buzzing around the hospital, tending to whoever needs it! Dr. Darling, with his calm and cool energy, is more often assigned to older and more anxious kids. Dr. Joyful, on the other hand, is often tasked with the care of younger children and babies with her more energetic and sweet personality. Dr. Frank Frankly is the surgeon of the group, and he excells with his steady hands and his thirst for knowledge and for solving problems! Dispite his grumpy appearance, the children find him a joy to see when he checks up on them before and after surgery!

Next, we have the Nurses!

Nurses Sally, Barnaby, and Howdy help make up the back bone of the hospital, and they are always on their toes helping those in need! Nurse Sally can typically be found in the ER, where her quick feet and her sunny disposition are a must have, though she can be found bouncing all over the hospital! Nurse Barnaby never fails to put a smile on a patient's face with his funny jokes, and he is a dream when someone needs a distraction from a needle or anything else that may be frightening them! Nurse Howdy is extremely handy with his four hands and arms, making him an amazing multi-tasker! He is also a master of hugs, and he is wonderful with calming down particularly upset patients. He and Barnaby are also often called on the occurrence where a patient (or even parent!) needs restrained, thanks to their size and even tempers!

Lastly, we have those with more miscellaneous jobs!

Mr. Eddie and Ms. Poppy also have important jobs that help the hospital and its patients! Eddie is the HHCH's trusty mailman! He takes gifts and letters from the mail room and gift shop and delivers them to their recipients. As he knows the hospital's layout like the back of his hand, he also often accompanys visitors and volunteers, such as those who bring therapy dogs and such! He also takes extra care to dress up on holidays and other occasions! Ms. Poppy is an Emotional Consultant, and she is there to help patients and their families make difficult decisions, usually regarding treatment. Still the nervous bird that she is, she still tries to put on a brave face and a warm smile to those who need a little extra guidance or reassurance.

They're all colorless now, but I'll probably add that soon lol.

Also, I haven't designed Home yet, but I imagine he'd be the Headmaster of the hospital or something similar? I may give him a design later on.

🧡You and Blithe go shopping for Halloween decorations, having some fun along the way together!🧡

"Come on Alby! Let's go!" You Called, putting on a pout as your boyfriend came downstairs, dressed in red flannel and a denim jacket with fluff inside to keep him warm from the chilly Fall weather.

"Alright alright honey, hold your horses" Chuckled Blithe as he made his way downstairs to you. You were excited to go decoration shopping, always. You decorated for each holiday and this year was no different.

"I'm sorry sweetie, but I'm just so excited to see the latest and newest stock of Halloween decor! I totally wanna look for those cutesy spider webs for the curtains!" You Said joyfully as you bounced on the spot. Blithe chuckled and leaned forward to press a kiss to your forehead.

"I know cutie pie. I'm excited too. You know I love decor shopping with you" Said Blithe softly. And it was the truth. Ever since you two first moved in together, you helped with the house's decor. Blithe loved how you meticulous picked out certain colours or patterns for each room, your parents always said you had an eye for such things.

"Well, let's hit the road!" Declared Blithe and you squealed as you headed to the car, Blithe in tow with car keys jingling.

First stop was Spirit Halloween. You and Blithe walked in and were blown away by the many wonderful and spooky items on sale, from decorations to costumes. It was a Halloween wonderland!

"Oh my god, Alby look!" You nearly squealed as you showed off a Nightmare Before Christmas Sally costume. Blithe smiled at the costume.

"If I buy this, will you dress up as Jack with me this year?" You Asked shyly. Oh, Blithe's heart melted at that.

"Of course cutie pie, I'll be your Jack Skelly this year, Sally" Replied Blithe smiling warmly as he picked out the costume and he loved the smile you gave him. Costumes in the shopping basket, Blithe and you walked down the many aisles, marvelling at and scouting for decorations.

You two eventually walked out with an abundance of Halloween themed decorations. Loading them up in the car, you guys drove to look for some small decorations, many of the large decorations Spirit Halloween had. You guys stopped at Walmart for the bit and of course you saw the Halloween Squishmallows were in.

"Alby the Halloween Squishmallows are in!" You Grinned. Both of you made a beeline for the aisle.

"Hope they still have the Fall ones in. I really wanna find Connor The Cow in the Flannel shirt" Hoped Blithe.

"Oh I'm sure they still have the Fall ones. Fall and Halloween go hand in hand" You Assured him.

"I hope so, last year I missed out on them. I really wanted Connor, he looks so cosy like a lil' lumberjack" Recalled Blithe.

As you both reached the aisle your heart melted upon seeing Blithe find a Fall Squad version of Connor The Cow Squishmallow and just give the plushie a big hug. That sight alone filled you with serotonin.

"Oh thank goodness! I've found him!" Exclaimed Blithe, cuddling the red flannel wearing Squish in his arms as you walked over to your side as you smiled at him.

"I'm glad you found him!" You Cheered happily. Blithe found comfort in the plushies since his retirement from service due to an injury he sustained. The plushies helped when he had nightmares and when his PTSD kicked up, just holding his favourite one or snuggling up in a pile of them with you was the best calming feeling to him and he'd just relax instantly.

It was the best thing he had at the moment as you two were currently looking into getting Blithe equipped with a emotional support animal, mainly a dog. It's been a long wait and it was frustrating. So you were happy to see Blithe have comfort even if it was from a plushie while you two waited.

"There's so many Halloween Squishmallows and Fall Squad Squishmallows!" You Remarked, looking at the vast amount of spooky and autumnal Squish. Blithe looked at them, eyes wide as he scanned for one to take home.

"We don't have that one do we?" Asked Blithe pointing to Autumn The Black Cat. You shook your head and Blithe reached over, plucking her from the pile. You reached over and pulled Wade The Werewolf Squishmallow from the pile too and picked up a Fall Squad version of Malcom The Mushroom Squishmallow.

Squishmallows collected, you both drove to the next store. Along the way you both stopped for some lunch at a café.

"There's a shop selling decorations across the street, wanna take a look?" Asked Blithe with a mouthful of food making you giggle and nod.

"Sure sweetie!" You Bubbled. Walking across the street, you enter the store and began browsing the aisle. You bent to get a closer look at the decorations at the bottom shelf and when you glanced up you were face to face with a large black spider!

You let out a scream and fell backwards onto your butt, causing Blithe to laugh.

"The Hell?!" You Gasped and looked up to see Blithe hunched over, laughing as he held the now obvious fake spider in his hand like a yo-yo, dangling about.

"Oh your face!" Laughed Blithe. You started to laugh along with him, he got you good with that prank. He helped you up as you both laughed.

"Oh I'll get you back for that one" You Giggled and you both shared a laugh as you continued to browse the aisle together, all while you planned your prank on your boyfriend.

After your shopping trip into town, you drove home to start unpacking and decorating. Walking inside, you both began the decorating process.

"I'm so glad Spirit Halloween had the cobwebs for the curtains" You Remarked as you admired the spooky curtain decor.

"I love the little spooky lanterns they had, I just had to buy them. They look so cool" Commented Blithe as he began placing said lanterns about the house.

It was then as his back was turned, you decided to prank him. You crept as quietly as you could away to the other room across from the living room and found a good corner to hide in. You covered yourself up in the large pumpkin blanket you had since your Grandmother first gave it to you and waited.

"I think I picked out some good spots for the lan...." Blithe stopped mid sentence as he saw you were not in the room. And the whole house had gone eerily silent.

"Honey?" Called Blithe looking around the room. You tried to suppress your giggles under the blanket as you heard his footsteps approach into the room you were hiding in.

"Honey, where are you?" Called Blithe. You snickered a little and you froze. Did he hear you? Blithe looked around the room and saw the large blanket.

"What's that doing there?" Thought Blithe as he walked over to pick up the blanket.

"BOO!" You Cried and Blithe gave a yell, falling backwards on to his butt.

You burst out laughing as Blithe's face flushed pink.

"Wha..?" Stammered Blithe in shock.

"Got you!" You Giggled.

Blithe then began snickering. Damn, you got him good this time. Without warning, he pounced and wrapped you up in his arms, blanket wrapped up around you both.

"This year, I'm really gonna up my tricking game so you better watch out missy!" Chuckled Blithe.

"Oh yeah? Well challenge accepted mister!" You Retorted with a giggle.

You both shared a good laugh as you guys just only realised you were all tangled up in the blanket and both of you falling all over the place just to get free was just comical.

Yeah, it was going to be a great and fun Halloween this year.

AW LOVE no :( are you okay?? i definitely get nightmares like that :( i had one a while ago where someone was stood over my bed watching me sleep and i woke up and i thought i saw someone in the corner :(( i slept with the light on for a week afterwards :(( whenever i watched a horror film alone, i would watch the behind the scenes of the movie to become less qorried about sleeping alone!! :(

when i saw the conjuring 2, i was house sitting for my gran while she was in greece on holiday and i heard someone's footsteps on the stairs. genuinely freaked me out. her house was definitely haunted :/

ajdfk omg i read ghost wife a while back and even tho it's a little freaky i really enjoyed the story but there's one scene of a creepy monster standing over the bed and i dreamt about it - truly horrifying. That's really smart to watch the behind-the-scenes for real, that makes sm sense and it's a lot of fun watching the actors be silly w/ a green screen!!

omg i would pee myself fr, after my dad cut out the side of our house and expanded, sometimes our floor creaks really loudly and ofc my dad has a logical engineering explanation as of why as well as the remote controlled candles we had turning on by themselves. I always joke w/ my mom that our grandfather is coming for a visit when it happens 😅 it's a lil freaky nonetheless and hellaur graveyards can be sooooo spooky i am not going near one ever at night but i'd trust you w/ my life to protect me <3333

Spooky Season- Shohei Ohtani

Request: Can I send in a request for a friends to lovers fic but more on fluff for Shohei? & Please write more about shohei, any situation or concept you like

A/N: Hi everyone! I combined these two asks and created this cute lil Shohei fic.  Spooky season is upon us and I for one love this time of year and thought he would fit this idea perfectly. I hope you guys enjoy and feel free to send in requests! 

Word Count: 1k+

It was your favorite time of year and you didn’t care how basic you looked to others. Spooky season was upon the world once again  and it made your heart soar. You and your boyfriend, Shohei, hadn’t been together during last year at this time and you were more than excited to throw him into the season.

“I just don’t understand the excitement. It’s pumpkins and orange everything. I like pumpkin pie, but that’s it.” You shook your head, slipping your candy corn colored cardigan over your black shirt. Did you need to be wearing this in Southern California in September? Absolutely not and you would probably get heat stroke in a couple hours, but it was worth it.

“This year I’m gonna show you everything there is to love about the spooky season. Shopping for decorations, pumpkin spice lattes that you’ll love because it’s basically pumpkin pie in a cup, pumpkin picking, scary movies. You’ll fall in love with it I promise.” He rolled his eyes, slipping his abnormally large feet into his shoes before following you out the door.

“Where do we go first?” You smirked up at him, taking his hand in yours and leading him to the car. “Starbucks and then T.J. Maxx.”

Shohei got a kick out of all the decorations and tried to play off how excited he really was about all the stuff you guys bought. When you got home, huge bags from all the stores you visited throughout the day in tow, he was quick to start taking them out and placing items all around.

You couldn’t hold in the laugh that escaped you while you watched him send pictures of the things he bought in his groupchat with his teammates. He was extremely jittery from the three PSL’s he indulged in and you couldn’t get him to sit still.

When you finished decorating the house you plopped onto the couch with him, one of his large arms slumped over his eyes. You pecked his exposed lips and pulled the arm from his face. “What’s wrong, sweetie?” He groaned, flipping onto his side, pulling you into his frame while doing so and attacking your neck with kisses.

“Thanks to that pumpkin pie drink I have a headache now. This is why I don’t drink caffeine like that.” You squealed as he tickled your sides, trying to catch your breath while you felt his chest trembling from laughing behind you. “Well if you hadn’t drunk three of them it wouldn’t have been a problem.”

He moved again, pinning you beneath him as he continued tickling your sides, lips finally connecting with yours as you let a sigh escape your lips. “What’s next for the spooky season?”

You guys didn’t do a whole lot more for the season other than the occasional scary movie and halloween themed treats, but the holiday was finally tomorrow and you brought the pumpkins you and Shohei bought together inside to carve them.

His eyebrows furrowed while he looked at the large orange sphere sitting in front of him. You handed him a knife and his eyes went wide. “You want me to do what?” You rolled your eyes, rolling your sleeves up while you used your knife to carve a whole in the bottom of the pumpkin.

He watched you curiously as you did this and then reached your hand inside and grabbed a fistful of pumpkin guts. He gagged at the smell and moved away from the table while you laughed, dropping the handful of slime into the trash bag you taped to the table.

“It’s fun baby I promise, come on.” You continued to pull the guts out while Shohei began to work on his. When he grabbed his first fistful of pumpkin insides he did something between a gag and laugh. “Why does it feel like this?”

You giggled, scraping the inside of your pumpkin. “I don’t know, but you need to get it totally clean and scrape down one side really thin so it’s easy to carve.” He watched you, eyes full of enjoyment and love watching you sign along to Monster Mash playing through the speaker in the kitchen.

You could easily see how serious Shohei was taking this task, eyebrows furrowed in concentration, tongue darted out just a little from his lips, a light bead of sweat across his forehead, he looked adorable. You hated to ruin this moment he had going, but you couldn’t help yourself.

Using your free hand you grabbed a handful of pumpkin guts that you had left on the table as nonchalantly as possible before you threw it in his general direction. You bursted out laughing when you turned towards him and saw the spattering of guts all across his face, neck, and chest. He looked shocked before he reached into the trash bag and grabbed a large pile and threw it back at you.

You should’ve taken this into more consideration given his hands were twice your size and he was a professional baseball player, particularly a pitcher. You screamed as the cold slime hit your face and hair. Before you knew it there was a war going on and the house wreaked of pumpkin insides and were scattered everywhere.

Your laughs subsided into giggles as you called a truce, stepping out from your hiding place behind the kitchen island. Shohei came out from the hallway, grabbing your face with his hands and connecting your lips. “Let’s go clean up and then we’ll get the house cleaned, okay?” You nodded your head and followed him into the bathroom.

Somehow miraculously you two got the house cleaned up and got your pumpkins carved and placed outside, candles lit inside to illuminate the chosen designs. He chose something simpler, given it was his first time, and an adorable ghost adorned the front of his pumpkin. You went with something that had a bit more detail and saw Oogie Boogie on the front of yours.

His lips found your head, arms wrapping around your waist as you both looked at the front door. “I think I really love the spooky season.” You giggled and turned in his arms as he smiled down at you and lightly kissed you. “I’m glad because we need to go try on our costumes.”

He groaned as he watched you run inside, but he couldn’t bite back the smile that graced his lips as he followed you back into the house, completely in love with you.

Hello everyone, it is i, Cozy, back to give you a lil snack between schoolwork. This was fully self indulgent, to a worrying degree, so my apologies for that. But please enjoy, it was a fun little writing exercise since it’s been a while!💖✨

A distant car door shut, the sound muffled by the thick brick walls that separated you from the sparsely populated street where La Squadra Esecuzioni has been residing for a little while now. It’s not an uncommon sound, not at all actually. You’ve lost count of how many times you’ve woken up to heavy car doors slamming in the middle of the night, men of disputable morals stepping out and going about their even more so morally disputable business. But instead of filling you with annoyance that you’d have to lull yourself back to sleep again, this faint slam meant the return of your capo!

He’d been off on his very first holiday since joining Passione. Perhaps it was even the first in his life, the past never really presenting such opportunities unfortunately. 10 days. 10 whole days since the looming figure that brought a sense of calm and comfort to your shared homebase had left to start his travels to Sicily. And God had you missed him. You thought your crush on him had been manageable, maybe it would even dim by not seeing him for a while.

But oh no. It got worse. It got so much worse.

You hadn’t realised it before, but living so close with your teammates had conditioned you. You saw them every single day, for worse or for better. And that also included Risotto. Sometimes he’d be too busy to come out of his office but you were always sure to pay him a quick visit. Just to check up on him, you told yourself. You’d shoot him a warm smile that always received a small nod in return from the tired form pouring over his work.

A rush of excited energy barreled through your body, trying to suppress the need to wait at the front door like an overzealous golden retriever. You put down your phone and exhaled deeply, mentally preparing yourself as to not let on how much you’ve missed seeing him around.

You heard the familiar sound of the front door unlocking and got up from the living room couch you’d been lounging on as casually as possible. Casually making your way to the entrance to casually welcome back your colleague. Casual.

Risotto looked...magnificent. His skin had darkened under the Sicilian sun and given him a nice tan that evenly spread over his figure. He was wearing a simple black shirt that clung to the right places, adorning his chiseled chest and barely holding onto his built biceps. His hat was nowhere in sight and his silver locks poked out in different directions, clearly not bothered to tame them for his drive home.

Your quick once-over cut short over the sound of your own voice. “You’re back! Did you have fun? I missed you-” To your own surprise the words left you all too soon. In an attempt to fix the slip up you hurriedly continued. “We all missed you, I mean…” you trailed off. Risotto’s lips quirked up into an amused smirk, showing off his dimple that rarely appeared. He looked a lot more relaxed than before he left.

“Oh? We?” he said, making it a point to lean to his side to direct his gaze to the empty apartment behind you. No one else had been home. You felt heat rise to your cheeks and the desperate need to run and never return. Why was this already so hard?

You nervously chuckled and wrung your hands together, casting your eyes down at Risotto’s bag that had been put near the messy shoe rack Formaggio promised to clean up while your capo was gone. Sensing you weren’t going to rebuttal his comment, he continued. “It was nice. But I did miss you all, too.” The baritone of voice only stoked the fires burning under your skin.

He had missed you. Your mind swatted away the unnecessary word that followed his statement indicating that he’d also missed your teammates. You really needed to get a grip on your feelings.

You looked up again, feeling a bit braver to face your capo. “You look at ease, it really did you good, huh?” you softly hummed. His eyes held kindness in return, no matter how dark and spooky they were to some, they held no sharp edge whenever they landed on you.

As soon as you both stepped further into the apartment you heard him let out a deep sigh. It wasn’t of displeasure, no, those were way deeper and mostly kept for difficult meetings. He was breathing in the familiar smell of home. One that strangely enough had become the one he most associated with you. Walking behind you towards his room with his bag gripped tightly, his hand clutching the straps even harder turning his knuckles white.

He’d missed you too. So much. His trip was fun and relaxing and he could finally spend time by himself after being surrounded by people 24/7. But with every stroll past the beach, every dinner spent by himself- calmly sipping a glass of deep red wine, he wished you were there to spend it with him. To hold your hand and gently sway it as the sea breeze washed away the stress work had caused to settle onto you both. To rest on the beach together, lazing on a towel while the sun beamed down and a comfortable silence that rested between you.

Risotto was thankful for the holiday he never thought he’d have while working for Passione, but even more thankful to be back home. Where you were.

You had kindly opened the door for him, that cute smile resting on your lips as you let him pass by. The room smelled fresh and sweet like the breeze outside, the wind fluttering the curtains. “I changed your sheets and opened the window for you. Thought you wouldn’t mind it.” you shyly said as he set down his bag and huffed down on the edge of his bed. Idly caressing the light sheets in appreciation. He offered you a quick smile in return, instantly making that heat rise back to your cheeks.

“I’ll let you get settled.” You were glad he was back home safe, maybe you’d rest easier now and maybe your feelings would reach a more manageable level again. But before you could get far, not even a step further towards the hallway, you felt a big hand grasp your wrist. It felt warm and calloused, one that has worked hard and endured too much. You bounced back but steadied yourself to face Risotto who had cleared his throat and swiftly let go of your wrist. Bold move there, he warned himself.

“Sorry, I- I got you something.” he grumbled out the apology, brow creased as he dipped down to reach for something in his bag.

“Here.” He handed you a strangely shaped crumpled newspaper, cursing himself for not wrapping it in something a bit nicer. It was much heavier than your average weekly publication so you held it steadier, gently trying to unwrap whatever was hiding inside. Excitement was still bubbling inside, but a sense of ease that only Risotto supplied had nestled its way into you.

Risotto took over the discarded newspaper to let you admire the gift, trying his best to hide his excited stare, eager to know if you’d liked it. In your hands rested a ceramic mug, it looked handmade and the uneven strokes of shiny blue coloured glaze gave it a rustic touch. Lemons and leaves decorated the sides, making you turn it over a couple times to fully admire the handiwork. You were so enamoured by the gift you’d forgotten to let him know your thoughts.

“For your collection…” he trailed off, getting a bit nervous at his choice and doubting if you’d liked it. He knew you had a particular taste in mugs that were allowed into your hallowed collection. (not to be touched by your other teammates of course)

“I love it Ris. Really, it’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much.” You really did love it, your heart could barely take how much you did. Clutching the mug in your hand, you reached over and hugged him. He had barely processed the relief of you liking his gift to be hit with your form clinging to his torso. Carefully, he placed a single hand around your middle, not wanting to make you feel uncomfortable as he reciprocated. “Thank you.” you quietly let out while giving him a curt squeeze.

His arm eased you down  to sit next to him on the edge of the bed, feeling his very own surge of warmth ghost over his cheeks. His hand remained on your side, comfortably resting there, feeling right at home. You didn’t mind, not in the slightest. You were just so happy he’d returned and even brought you a thoughtful gift.

“Maybe next time I could show you around the shop I got it from. They have lots more to choose from.” he urged himself on, hearing his own heartbeat reach new speeds at the suggestion and its implications. A next time, but with you by his side.

You held onto the mug for dear life, clasping your fingers even tighter around the sides in case you’d drop it and shatter it like your chances with Risotto. Your mind raced, his suggestion having caused a mild short circuit of all functions. After a trained breath you find the strength to reply. “I’d like that very much. Just be sure to keep Ghiaccio away from the fragile stuff.” you chuckled nervously. A heavenly sound to the smitten capo.

“The rest of the team- as much as I like them- are uhm… not invited.” The smile that danced on his lips and the glint in his eyes made your heart flutter all over as you looked up at him.

A holiday? Just the two of you?

“Oh. Oh.”

You can’t seem to tear your eyes away from his as the thought settles between you. His hand on your hip hadn’t moved, only growing warmer and now finally urging you to scootch a little closer. His soft touch lingering on the small of your back now, closing in the distance and letting your hands rest on his chest as he moved to your inviting lips.

You felt like you’d burst any second, steadying your breath seemingly the hardest task you’ve had to face yet. But then your lips met, softer than any you’d felt before and easing over yours like it was the greatest privilege ever granted. A warm palm cupping your cheek, only deepening the finalisation of your mutual holiday plans. Everything you’d both been wishing to let out finally coming together, moving along your lips with a deep need and hunger that got its chance to grasp at a godly buffet.

With disbelief you both let go- regrettably so, softly gasping for air. If you wanted to go on a holiday together, you would still need to be breathing to get there. As you shared the lingering moment of closeness, appreciating the warmth and love of each other’s gazes, your hearing picked up on scuffling in the hallway.

Mortified you snapped your attention to Melone in the doorway collecting what looked like money from a passing Formaggio and Prosciutto. “Told you they’d do it after he got back.” he smuggly grinned, counting his winnings as you heard Risotto let out a small chuckle under his breath. Earning him a playful jab to his side from you.

“Melone, I won’t kill you if we split the winnings. We have a holiday to save for.” you grumbled.

Finlay:  enjoys Uv’alour Ma’throna which is the anniversary of the three races arriving in the land!! Finlay primarily enjoys it because it’s a day of rest and peacefulness -- shops are closed, people are home with their families and friends, and there are very little disturbances (it’s also the day when the church gives out plates of warm, fairly fancy food to people, so they like to help out with that)!!

Lesilfae: Doesn’t really celebrate holidays but enjoys the Trails equivilant of valentine’s day!! He often gets too many presents and sweets, so he likes to give out the things he doesn’t need -- for a price!!

Galeon: hmm, probably enjoys family oriented holidays (of which there are many)! I can’t quite pin down which one he tends to enjoy more, but spending time with his family (Hollond’s included) is one of his favorite things to do! Also enjoys celebrations that involve feasts but those are few and far between sadly!

Hollond: Hates celebrating but loves Galeon, so they often prefer Fes’Ulal (name is a wip) in which the people will make lots of food and share it with one another! It’s also one of the few times Hollond will let Galeon carry huge trays of food down to his job to share with his patrons -- they secretly love the compliments their food earns them lol!!

Greta: I don’t know if there’s a Halloween or All Saint’s Eve equivilent holiday in the Trails world but she enjoys the more... spooky and superstitious (poor word choice?) holidays! She enjoys the stories that are told into the night of wicked beings, silly ghouls, and traditions meant to keep the evil and cruel at bay! If the MC is present during this time, she will absolutely do her best to spook them lol!!

uuhhh minor lore/language note (this is a wip and may change): Uv and Ma are prefixes, Uv usually means ‘day of’ while Ma means ‘night of’! So Uv’alour Ma’throna loosely translates to “day of joining, night of peace”! it’s stupid i know <3

Kotoko Utsugi One of Y/N’s favorite things about having taken in their younger sister was seeing Kotoko happy. Before it had been so few and far between to see her smile, a genuine smile at the very least. Now that it was them who was raising her, and not their shitty excuse for parents.

Kotoko loved dressing up, and they were so glad that wasn’t one of the things that caused her anxiety or panic attacks. That’s why the Halloween season was so great for the both of them, not to mention they were never able to properly celebrate any holidays. 

This was their first time just being the two of them for Halloween. It would be their first time for many upcoming holidays, but for now it was the spookiest holiday of them all. 

It started on October 1st, Y/N and Kotoko took a trip to a Halloween store and bought a few decorations (they wouldn’t be spending any extra money on costumes, mainly because they both had an abundance of theatre outfits, and Y/N was good at sewing). They spent time putting their new decor in the living room. Thanks to Kotoko’s eye for fashion, the room quickly became a spooktacular wonderland. 

October 2nd was one of Y/N’s favorites, they watched kids Halloween movies. Kotoko’s favorite was The Nightmare before Christmas, due to the musical aspects of it. 

October 3rd and 4th had both been spent with the two making their costumes. Kotoko wasn’t an expert yet, so if she had made any mistakes Y/N had come to her rescue. Both sibling’s fingers became numb and a bit sore, because they had gotten too ahead of themselves by trying to make their costumes in two days. 

October 5th was spent parading around in their new costumes, along with playing with their old ones. All the while Monster Mash had been their background music. The best part, in Kotoko’s opinion, was when Y/n was messing around and put on some of her heels, as a result they ended up falling flat on their face. Their only response being ‘I meant to do that’.

October 6th through 19th you guys gave it a rest, only because Kotoko was the lead in Jekyll & Hyde at school and Y/N had taken extra shifts at their job while Kotoko was busy. 

October 20th was Kotoko’s musical, and boy had she rocked it. Y/N new she was Lil’ Ultimate Drama for a reason, but they didn’t know what to expect when their adorbs little sister who was known for being cute planned on playing two versions of a male character.

October 21st Kotoko came home from school incredibly excited, having come up with the idea of having her friends from her class come over for a Halloween party. Y/N quickly got excited about the idea as well (mainly because Kotoko was smiling the whole time) and they went out shopping yet again for more decorations, and foods.

October 22nd had consisted of the two of you decorating again, but this time Kotoko’s friend Monaca had come to help and have a sleepover afterwards. However, the young girl mostly ended up cooking instead. Of course it was the simple things, like making cookies, and of course you had assisted with anything that could have gotten her hurt.

October 23rd was the day of the party. Y/n helped both girls get ready with their makeup, and then got ready themselves. Kotoko was wearing her old Butterfly dress, and Monaca was a witch. There had only been three other guests (excluding Monaca), but that was probably better due to the sibling’s smaller apartment. 

October 24th was spent recuperating from the party. So the two laid out on the couch while binge watching movies and pigging out on Monaca’s leftover cookies (the ones that Y/N had hidden, otherwise Masaru would have eaten them all, he practically ate them out of house and home).

October 25th Kotoko ended up in group detention with her friend’s. So Y/N ended up taking her out to go get ice cream after she got out. In order to make her day a little bit better. 

October 26th Kotoko had gotten home before Y/N, and they walked in on Kotoko blasting music from the Nightmare before Christmas again. They found out that her favorite song from it was Jack’s lament.

October 28th was dress-up day at school, Kotoko decided to wear her cat costume from one of her first plays she had been in. Apparently it was really popular with kids from the younger classes. 

October 30th the two siblings had gone to a small fair and gave out candy. Y/N discovered empty candy packets in Kotoko’s jacket pocket when they went to wash her clothes that night. 

Then the day finally came, October 31st. Kotoko was a princess and Y/N wore a prince costume for her. Of course the two had gone trick or treating together, and the amount of candy both of them had gotten ended up creating the ‘biggest candy mountain’ in existence.

We also had a competition between the schools in our state and we won first place😌✨ so we MAY get a trip to a hotel or something like that- and the next day we have another party but this time alone in just our school and the chaos... Don't even get me started, people were fighting for some food it was so shocking and funny but I also got the highest grade in art class!! The first time I'm actually so happy about an exam hehe and I had some lil quarrels with classmates but nevermind that I couldn't care less👌

Overall, I think that's everything special that happened this week- it wasn't so bad. What about you? Did any good things happen? 👀 I hope so- and if not, that's also fine, they will.

ah yes, I wanted to start all of those too, I have watched like, two episodes of demons slayer S2 I think. The last manga I read was "the gender of Mona Lisa", I read it yesterday, but I still need to read the 4th volume (I think that's all). It's interesting too. Also on this note, sho if your reading this, I can recommend it to you and anyone whose gender identity might be a thing for them.

oh and also, "ARISA". It's a manga about two twin girls, that all I'm gonna say but, I read it like years ago bc I randomly found it in the library, but I was kinda obsessed. It was a bit spooky so, idk if trigger lists exist for it, if so you could maybe look that up before and decide if that's something for you, but I felt like you could like it. it also has 12 volumes. on another note, the manga "orange" if you haven't already read that. I actually haven't (maybe will some time), but I started it once and it seems to be a cool story.
