I just remembered all the fic comments I've gotten before saying they were reading my fic for comfort while they were in some kind of pain. So, here I am with a migraine, and I realize I started doing the same thing without even thinking about it.

I couldn't fully appreciate those comments before, but I get it now.

How beautiful.

We're a bunch of strangers united by brainrot for the most unbearably corny and French love show, and we get so full of love we have to make it into art so we can share it in a way that means it has a little piece of us in it, that part of us that says, "Hey, I love romance and friendship and hope and the indomitable human spirit in all it's messy tenderness too. I love like you love," and we put it in places others can find, so they can receive this little part of us we wrapped in tenderness and care, and so, we're there for each other. Whenever someone needs. Even though we're separated by space and time and unfamiliarity, we're there for each other.

Wow.

And even those who don't make art infuse it all with so much enthusiasm and appreciation!!

So the thing about this migraine is it's the first migraine in my life. I feel like I have a sensitivity to everything. Nothing seems to be gentle and soft and just the right kind of warm enough for me to even feel just… okay, right now— except all these works of love that make up the fandom.

It can't take away the pain, but it is helping me to get through it with grace.

14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?

baybee ALL my acotar opinions are unpopular.

I'll do a positive spin though, and say that all the people in my section of ACOTAR fandom (generally queer and loving Tamlin) are so fun and creative and have been lovely to talk to! And are honestly why I'm still neck-deep in ACOTAR fandom despite most of it being a heterosexual hellhole. People like @northern-star-polaris @mossytrashcan @queercontrarian @isterofimias @acotardeservesbetter and OFC YOU KODI have made being in this tiny section of fandom SO rewarding!!!

26. Most shippable character?

100% Tamlin bc. I love him. BUT ALSO I think it's fascinating how he's lived so long and is so sincere and optimistic, it's easy to see him getting along with a lot of different people! Obviously my favorite ships are Tamlin/Lucien and Tamlin/Rhysand, but I've also been getting into Tamlin/Nesta and Tamlin/Eris!!

I just wanted to say something about how being part of the ML fandom trained my faculties & mind to be able to jump right into loving-kindness meditation, and eventually self-compassion practice.

But then things got so real.

Anyway. Having blorbos you ship with mentally ill intensity keeps you from numbing it all away. I really believe that, because of personal experience.

Never let anyone make you think you're wasting your time by indulging in what makes you happy.

You don't have to be able to form an argument against them. Just trust yourself & the feeling that it's important. It keeps your soul warm instead of cold, soft instead of brittle, sensitive instead of dead. Of course it's important.

apart from muscle spasms i also sleepwalk/talk/etc and honestly between both of these i prefer the sleepwalking. literally never been injured while sleepwalking apart from like aweird bruise or whatever sleepbug has NEVER steered me wrong ‼️‼️👍👍
