Huh, didn't expect that. So just taken in the third arc, would you say he is a step-up from the villains that came before him?

Bear in mind that I haven’t read the third arc in a long-ass time, so I can’t say whether his quality is genuine or a figment of my imagination. Still, I want to argue for his case.

I think it’s not so much that he’s leaps and bounds better than Hawkfrost, Mudclaw and Tigerstar (not that that’s hard to accomplish). It’s that he’s new in concept - he doesn’t solve things with violence, and he doesn’t appear to have any real motive of power, as those three do. He just exists to sow seeds of discord, and once his job is done, he vanishes. He’s less predictable; you can’t begin to guess what he wants and what he’ll do to get it, because he never outright explains his goal, which inherently makes him more dangerous. 

Tigerstar wanted power through murder. Hawkfrost wanted power through murder. Mudclaw (pretty justifiably, I think) wanted power (that was technically his anyway) and almost murdered to get it. Sol? He doesn’t do any of that shit. At most he makes cats nearly kill each other themselves while he sits back and watches with a smug look. That is way more nuanced than any of the previous villains, and thus more interesting.

If I were to reread the third arc, he probably wouldn’t be as awesome as I remember, but his potential is just too good regardless, and that did not fade away from my memory with time.

This is A Figment of Discord, a horror-dark game made in RPG Maker VX Ace by @midorifragments, we play as Eris, a haunted girl that was abandoned by her parents that resides in an orphange in which Eris doesn't have any close friends in. Asides a mischievous cat named Millionmiles that may or may not be imaginary, what happens in these adventures?

"Human relationships are so frail. Luckily enough, Eris doesn't mind such things since when she was abandoned at the gates of Rosechild orphanage, deep in the woods. She held no significant friendship with the other inhabitants of the structure. Instead, she prefers spending her days with her only friend; the odd cat Millionmiles. Constantly keeping to herself with the orphanage low on food supply, could one mere apple break her quiet stance amongst the orphanage?"
