I just finished the movie A Dogs Journey and I’m sobbing hysterically

The end was so fucking sad with Max dying and saying “I know it was time to say goodbye. But I wasn’t sad.” And Bailey/Big Dog/Max/Molly and Ethan running into the horizon with eachother after death broke me physically and mentally

So my brother introduced me to his work friends, and they were talking about how they haven't really watched many movies outside of action and superhero movies.

Anyway, I told them that "A Dog's Purpose" was a fun light family movie to watch. :)

Marley & Me to me is a “once and never again” movie.

Was thinking about this recently and Marley & Me is probably the saddest movie I have ever seen, and I’ve come to the realization that it’s one of those movies where I don’t think I can ever watch again. A movie like A Dogs Purpose sure I could watch several times, but not Marley & Me. Like the only time I could picture rewatching it is with any future kids i might have because, I don't want the to miss out on the formative experience that movie was for me when it came to grief and loss

I can handle most films, I have very little reaction to them overall but the minute you whip out a dog film with the whole ‘they save the dog but really the dog saves them’ trope and I’m in tears, I am ruined.
