@marymycete liked for a starter
"You're staring." It's saying something that Addy manages to actually pick up on it, but after a fair amount of consideration, she's decided that yes, the other girl is in fact, staring. Addy's somewhat familiar with that, sure, but usually she can figure out a reason, something Addy's doing that draws attention. So she points it out, not necessarily in a harsh tone, just as an observation.
"I'm Addy." Is that how she's supposed to go about this?

T or F? It would not take much for Sami to turn evil - False, Sami is a good little boy in need of snuggles and as much as I've tried to make "dark" or "evil" AUs for him they never go the direction I expect, so I don't think it's possible for him to be "evil."
T or F? Sami can't spell restaurant.. - False, Sami's a journalist, I think spelling is probably his strong suit at this point
T or F? Sami is afraid to close their eyes in the shower. - True, had to think about this one for a minute, but then I remembered how easily he gets dizzy and I think he'd be scared to pass out and really hurt himself if he closes his eyes in the shower -- probably has even happened before
T or F? Sami can't handle criticism. - True, though I think to some extent also false, like I think some constructive criticism is fine, but internally they can be a little insecure about some things, so I guess depending on what it is and how it's worded and who it's coming from they may or may not take it well
T or F? Sami likes board games, but no one else wants to play with them. - False, but only because he doesn't have the problem of no one wanting to play, they just don't often offer even though they do enjoy it--more of a casual hobby
T or F? Sami could easily survive The Hunger Games. - False, I mean we already talked about how xe's not evil...I think xe'd do xyr best to run and hide but that only lasts so long and there's no way xe'd kill anybody, though I think xyr survival skills would give xem a better chance than most, definitely the kind of person who knows xyr plants and berries and can start a fire and all that good stuff
T or F? Sami crashed a riding lawn mower into their fence. - True, because we all know if Sami ever bothered getting on a riding lawn mower it didn't go well, though I imagine the accident happened when he was younger and not medicated
T or F? Sami is tumblr famous. - False, probably would be popular if he had a blog with his journalist stuff, but it's definitely not located on this cesspool of a website, plus he's not great with contemporary technology, I imagine he's more of a wordpress kinda person
T or F? Sami can kill you in an instant and will. - False, although in some of xyr verses xe could absolutely kill you in an instant xe's never been particularly violent, so the will part is definitely in question the most, but in xyr main? yeah no too soft & squishy xe couldn't and wouldn't
T or F? Sami was forced to eat cement as a child. - False, but there was plenty else fucked up about their childhood

Since I shared Center of the Multiverse, I want to share Chance at Love— which is the Alternate Universe and Accompanying Multiverse of that.
——Chance at Love——
In this AU, Fenris does not get kidnapped by FATE and is instead allowed to live a relatively normal life with her adoptive family.
The house in Snowdin is slightly different to the OG, with two extra rooms, actual bathrooms, and the basement is larger + accessible. Gaster’s office is inaccessible.
Humans evolved to have magic instead of monsters to better survive underground
Here is some basic character info;
Fenris Fontman
-6’0
-22 yrs old
-Would rather die than go to the doctor, it took years for Alphys to be in the same building as her with a needle
-Cat in dogs body basically
-Angry at all times, mean and sarcastic but not usually violent
-WILL fight a child if provoked
-Weaponized puppy-dog eyes, has the Baby Sister Priviledges
-Barks at cats, but loved the Garfield cartoons as a kid
Abilities:
•Wolf Blasters
•Increased physical capabilities
•”Hate” spikes instead of bones
Papyrus Fontman
-6’4
-28 yrs old
-Master-Chef and in culinary school (Fen’s sensitive tastebuds helped him improve a lot)
-Lives at home since his university is so close
-Worried TM
-PUT THE COFFEE DOWN SANS YOU HAVE A HEART CONDITION
Abilities:
•Gaster Blasters
•Bone attacks
•Bone sword
Sans Fontman
-5’9
-31 yrs old
-Works a lot of jobs to help provide for his younger siblings
-Caffeine addict who now takes heart medication as his younger sister glares through his skull until he puts the coffee down (or she knocks it out of his hand and they’ve already broken enough mugs)
-Would hold Fenris like she was Simba as children
Abilities:
•Gaster Blasters
•Bone attacks
•Teleportation
Gaster Fontman
-Died at 50 yrs
-6’9
-Tall Science Dad
-Exhausted
-Did not fall into Core (Fenris walks in with a coat hanger stuck on her neck: “Daaaaad.”)
-Died in his sleep, leaving enough savings and insurance money behind for his kids to live comfortably for eternity
Optima Fontman
-Died at 33 yrs
-5’5
-Stereotypical Awesome Anime Mom
-Died from pneumonia
-Fenris’ first experience with someone she loves dying
—————————————————————
Extra Info!
-Once, Gaster sent his three kids out to buy eggs (Sans was 15). They came back with a carton of eggs, and a young hen held in his youngest’s arms.
-The Hen stayed, was named Garfield, and became the main source of eggs in the house. They do not know how Garfield has lived as long as she has, the running theory is that she’s God
-There is, in fact, a cultish following for Garfield the Hen, mostly occupied by awe-struck children
-They all love animated movies, Inside Out is Papyrus’s fav movie, Sans will always stand with Anastasia, and Fenris will fight to the death over Fox and the Hound
-They have a box of pet-toys that belong to Garfield and Fen exclusively, and each of them know whose is whose
-Garfield lives in the house, and has a harness-vest to go on walks with. Everyone in Snowdin knows shes off limits, allowed to strut around like the queen she is
-Everyone also knows that Fenris will bite everyone but Papyrus, Sans, and Grillby
-Everyone loves to play with Wolf!Fenris
-Wolf! Fenris is also the softest-floof-dog you’ll ever meet (it’s because of Papyrus and the shampoo he forces onto her)
While Wolf!Fenris does not wear clothes, she will wear a harness. Fenris’ clothes do not get ruined by transformation, and seemingly disappear until she turns back into a human. Wolf!Fenris will also be wearing a collar, usually with a tracker on it (mostly in Fell verses or worlds where she needs to track things down. She is often helpful in finding missing people), but this collar will not always appear on human Fenris.
The only time her clothes get ruined is during a forced half-transformation, where Fenris is more-so becoming a werewolf instead. There are two level’s to Werewolf transformation, the half-transformation, and the full. Full Werewolf transformation does not ruin the clothes despite form’s size. Werewolf is different than Wolf.
Currently drawing Fenris and her brothers (and Garfield) in Alternate Universes! Idk how many I’ll release at once though.
Here’s Garfield the Hen.

TIMELINE
Note: This is ONLY for her Main/BPRD Verse. This does NOT affect any side verses. This is a mix of the comic canon, Del Toro canon, and few tweaks because I can.
Primordial Times:
Anum, one of the Watchers (the first guardians of the world) steals the vril fire of creation and creates the Ogdru Jahad from mud.
The Odgru Jahad spawn 369 Ogdru Hem, and begin destroying the primordial world.
Kar Hem, the 369th Ogdru Hem is born, still in her egg.
The Watchers seal the Ogdru Hem and Ogdru Jahad away
A Watcher who has taken pity on the small creature, saves the primordial egg, putting it in a place where it can dream peacefully and never cause harm.
As punishment for creating them, Anum is dismembered, his parts discarded to the winds, save his right hand, stored in amber. This would eventually become the Right Hand of Doom. The other Watchers are cast into a realm that will eventually become Hell. They are now called the first fallen or Titans. The being known to mythology as Tartarus reigns as king, until the Titanomachy, where Hades takes the throne as per Zeus' promise. The dethroned Tartarus now serves as a warden for his titan siblings in the depths of his former domain.
Lesser spirits and beings populate the new world, becoming the gods/fae/spirits we know today.
Lucifer Morningstar rebels. He and his rebel angels are cast into the pit. They become the second fallen and spawn demon kind. He declares himself Emperor of Hell and conquers part of the Underworld. He forces his titanic prisoners of war to build his throne and the city of Pandemonium.
Hecate steals the primordial egg in a ritual to create a child, known as Makaria. The abomination breaks all laws of cosmic order, but the Fates state the child may live as it will serve the Fates in due time.
Before 110,000 BCE:
What is known as the Hyperborean Empire is established, spreading across the planet
~20,000 - 10,000 BCE:
Anum is worshipped as a deity, his hand removed from amber and put on display in a statue in the capital city of Gornium.
King Thoth the Wise rises to power. He writes his knowledge into 42 books, knowledge gained from capturing 3 of the original Watchers and keeping them captive in his secret garden. Only 2 of the books are made public.
The Empire reaches a golden age of expansion, Thoth granting seven of his sons sever vril maidens to power and protect seven new colonies: Thadrethes, Leto, Hypos, Urrasan, Lemuria, Mu, and Atlantis.
Hecate arrives in Gornium, eventually ingratiating herself in the court and seducing Thoth. This begins the downfall of Gornium and the Hyperborean Empire. Learning the secrets of his knowledge and Watchers, Hecate slaughters the Watchers and writes the hidden knowledge over the temple with their blood.
Thoth curses Hecate for her transgressions, leaving her unable to stand direct contact with the sunlight. This causes a schism in the Empire; the cult of the Black Goddess supporting Hecate and the followers of Anum and Thoth.
The Black Goddess cult devolved into a violent, bloody people, committing mass atrocities and war with the followers of Anum. The priests of Anum kidnap the godling Makaria. Hecate demands that Makaria be returned to her. The child is sealed in a black stone sarcophagus by the Priests of Anum. Denying Hecate once more the child she has since longed to have returned.
The statue of Anum becomes self-aware as a reaction to the conflict, destroying the rest of the Gornium and ending the Empire, forcing both underground. Hecate’s followers became the Followers of the Left Hand and were eventually slaughtered by their enslaved creature. Anum’s Followers of the Right Hand survive in pockets underground until today.
The Seven Cities survive for some time after the conflict but even they too seem to fall into obscurity.

Noah ~ Available RP Verses
{out of dalmasca} Here are some specific verses for Noah so that muns of muses from Final Fantasy games, not from FF games, from the MCU, from other fandoms, etc. can get an idea of how they might interact with him. If you have any questions or would like to plot in a specific verse, let me know! =)
{ for the empire } ᵐᵃⁱⁿ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This is canon Noah in Ivalice, likely in Archadia, but location will vary according to what part of the Final Fantasy XII timeline you want your muse to be in. This verse is for those who have Final Fantasy muses or want to place their muse inside the FFXII world. Your character would be native to some part of Ivalice or the same world at least, and would then encounter Noah. Plotting may be necessary to discuss the timeline and scenario that you may want. Your muse can get involved in the canon plot of FFXII if you like or we can discuss a unique plot for our muses to follow.
{ the darker corners of ivalice } ᵐᵃⁱⁿ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ ⁻ ᵈᵃʳᵏ ᵉᵈⁱᵗⁱᵒⁿ
(I am going to write up this verse in detail at some point because there are a lot of headcanons throughout the timeline of the game and the twins’ lives that need to be discussed. When I do, I will place a link to it here. Until then, if you want to know more or have questions, you can always ask me!) This verse contains everything the main verse does, but then also includes a number of headcanons regarding Noah/Gabranth, his mother, his brother Basch, the Archadian empress, and Larsa Solidor that venture into very tragic and potentially triggering topics, including child abuse/endangerment, sexual abuse, psychological abuse, violent murder, and mental illness. So any threads with Noah that are in this verse or have this tag take those events into account. Most of this will likely not be described in detail, but it exists in the fleshed-out portions of Noah’s life that we didn’t get to see. The canon game was chopped up and had many plot holes and time gaps, so this verse fills in, fleshes out, adds headcanons, explains holes and gaps, and generally smooths out the plot to make much more sense, but with some darker themes in an attempt to make a more harshly realistic story for Basch and Noah.
{ twin judgement } ᵃʳᶜʰᵃᵈⁱᵃⁿ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This verse follows basically the same trajectory for Noah as the dark verse, but in this verse Basch did not leave and go to Dalmasca. He went with Noah and their mother to Archadia, shouldered the burden of survival along with him, and became a Judge Magister as well. The twins are very much inseparable and emotionally co-dependent in this verse, having nearly identical sets of armor, heading the same Division together, and sharing quarters. Basch is highly protective of Noah, but also deeply emotionally attached to him, definitely in an unhealthy way, in that he clings to him as the last of his family. He is also poisoned with nethicite in this verse to the same degree Noah is, and his eyes are amber/orange/reflective too.
{ the two made one } ʳᵉᵛᵉⁿᵃⁿᵗ ˢᵒᵘˡ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This directly follows from the dark verse, but then adds Noah becoming a nethicite ghost after he is killed by Vayne. Not only that, but he is attached to Basch, such that Basch experiences his memories and emotions at times. Twins, two halves of a single soul, made one by Noah’s death.
{ older than the history books } ʳᵉᵛᵉⁿᵃⁿᵗ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This verse follows the plotline of Noah not being killed by Vayne at the end of the game, and living on as a revenant after technically dying once before at the Pharos. To others, he still looks like a 36 year-old man, but by modern day, he is more than five millennia old. He likely lives in a large city, but in a very small and humble apartment. This verse can overlap with his MCU verse if he involves himself with the Avengers.
{ unwilling avenger } ᵐᶜᵘ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
In this verse, Noah has been frozen in stasis by a nethicite explosion while fighting against the canon adventuring group of FFXII. He was found (likely by SHIELD or SWORD or some similar agency) in a modern day setting in the MCU, and much like Steve Rogers, he is a man out of time. This verse can also extend to Marvel in general, if you wanted Noah to join SHIELD, etc. as a specialized agent.
{ welcome to archadia } ᵐᵘˡᵗⁱᵛᵉʳˢᵉ ᶜʳᵒˢˢᵒᵛᵉʳ
This verse is essentially Noah’s main verse but incorporating the MCU concept of a multiverse. It can work for any muse not native to FFXII, not just MCU muses. Basically, the concept is that there are many different tangential timelines and verses in which there are different versions of characters, and sometimes… things get a little screwy and characters can – either intentionally or through some magical mishap – end up in other timelines/verses/worlds. So in this verse, your muse would end up in some part of Ivalice and encounter Noah. Again, this may require some plotting to figure out how and why your muse came to Ivalice and whether you want your muse to be thrown into the plot of FFXII or have their own unique plot.
{ what madness is this? } ᵐᵘˡᵗⁱᵛᵉʳˢᵉ ᶜʳᵒˢˢᵒᵛᵉʳ
This verse uses the same concept of a multiverse as the verse directly above this one, but where Noah ends up in your muse’s world instead of them ending up in his. Again, it would most likely occur through some magical mishap.
{ i’ve no right to be called by that name } ᵉᵖⁱˡᵒᵍᵘᵉ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This verse takes place during the epilogue of the game, where Basch has taken Noah’s place as Judge Magister Gabranth. However, instead of doing so because Noah died of the wounds inflicted on him by Vayne, Basch does so because Noah is still recovering from wounds so dire that they render him unable to continue as a Judge Magister. Noah - for now he must fall back to being called by his given name - has been spirited away to Old Archades where both Basch and Larsa know where he is and make sure he is well cared for... perhaps by your muse?
{ beyond the veil } ᶠᵒʳᵗʳᵉˢˢ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This verse incorporates the scrapped storyboards, setting, and timeline of Fortress, the canceled FFXII sequel. Any events that take place just before, during, or after the events of this would-be game are including in this verse. You can read more about Fortress and its story here. For Noah, this verse would likely go hand in hand with the verse “the two made one.”

@catfcng liked for the starter
"I read that dead people don't actually smell exactly like other dead animals—that there's hints of something like citrus or floral but wrong, I guess. Have you noticed that?" Maybe not the most normal question, but Addy's curious, and she's always hated small talk, anyway. Belle seemed like she might know, at least. Then again, as she considers it, and adds on, "Is the smell even that noticeable in general during embalming?" Both a potential correction and another question out of curiosity—maybe it wouldn't be that noticeable at her job, but Addy genuinely isn't sure. Regardless, she'd like to know—she's never met an embalmer, she's curious, sue her.
#lmk if you want something else!#otherwise addy has Strange Teenage Girl Syndrome (a desire to know everything and undiagnosed autism) so shes just. saying things#this is. the second time shes talked about this with someone and i need her to stop#a child's violent will to survive (verse: main)

"what are you talking about?" she's a little freaked out, to say the least. having someone come up saying nonsense like that addy was translucent and insist on it was certainly uncomfortable. shoulders drawn back, she tries to back up, brushing against the shelf behind her.
eyebrows furrow a little, and nadine leans in a little bit. "i can like... dude, i can see right through you. not even joking about it, this time! like, i can see the tomato soup ingredients right behind you. not that interesting, since it's just like... tomatoes, but like..." nadine crosses their arms. "is this like, a prank show, or something?"

Plot and AU Ideas
A Little Too Soon
In this AU, Hayden lived and subsequently died centuries before he does in his main verse, and he ends up assigned to the 11th Division due to his preference and talent for direct assault tactics. This causes him to arrive in the twilight era of Unohana's time as Yachiru, a time where she's just starting to enter the throes of challengeless ennui. Her division is desperately trying to find opponents worth her time, both out of their deep respect for their peerless Captain and also out concern for what she'd do if that soul-crushing boredom ever got to her. Hayden gets swept up in all this for a time until one day Unohana comes back from a routine hunt shaken to her core, wounded for the first time that anyone can remember. She refuses to talk about what happened, but whatever it was so haunted her that she abandoned her Division without any explanation at all, all but running away to the newly-vacated position of Captain of 4th. This leaves Hayden as someone who was introduced to Unohana as a violent, irritable, and bored psychopath who very suddenly and inexplicably turned around and took up a life of virtual pacifism and care for reasons no one can figure out.
Traditional Japanese AU
Unohana is a hitokiri turned ronin, wandering the winding roads of ancient Japan in an endless search for penance after her bloodlust caused her to accidentally scar a child. One day, she stumbles across Desmond Hayden, a foreign victim of the violent seas who survived the tumultuous waters surrounding the island nation. She decides to use him in her path to redemption, teaching him Japanese, protecting him while he regains his strength, and eventually wandering the land together as only vagabond outcasts can. However, whatever their intents for the future may be, they are forced to endure trial after trial as their pasts come back to haunt them...
Mecha Anime AU
In the far future of 2188, humanity's dominion has spread across the stars. However, humanity has spread so far that the United Earth government is having trouble keeping the belligerent frontier settlements in line, and is having to resort to ever more brutal tactics. In a period of turmoil and imminent war, a new innovation in weapons technology is created. The "Humanoid Mechanical Weapons Platform", otherwise known as HMWPs or "Mechs", bring a new level of carnage to the battlefield without needing to resort to such overkill as nuclear weaponry. Unohana is a UE officer and undefeated Mech ace (which are also known as "Shinigami" for the amount of death they are capable of) sent to the frontier to subjugate a new uprising, peacefully if possible, mercilessly if not. Once there, she discovers an unexpected diamond in the rough in the form of Desmond Hayden, a local youth who loves fighting but despises war. She conscripts him into her unit and begins to teach him the ways of Mech warfare.

INDEPENDANT // PRIVATE // LOW ACTIVITY Mine Yoshitaka of ryu ga gotoku // the yakuza franchise
21+ writer // no minors // follows back from @kansaisdragon
Account is very WIP and lowkey for the time being, more a test to get my bearings for the muse more than anything. Guidelines under the “Read More.”
GUIDELINES
Feel free to address me as “Atlas” OOC. I’m 21+ ( 25 as of writing this ), and as such would prefer not to write with writers below the age of 18. I’m criminally unmotivated with a piss-poor memory to boot, so please bear with me! My discord is available upon request, as I’m far more liable to see messages there.
Writer and muse are 21+, and due to the nature of the Yakuza franchise, both violent and sexually explicit themes may be referenced. That being said, and for the sake of my own personal comfort, it is VERY unlikely smut will happen on this account, but on the off-chance it does it will all be put under a “read more” and tagged as nsfw accordingly.
Do not kill the muse unless discussed and agreed upon beforehand. While I’d prefer a heads up before your muse does anything too drastic, chances are I’ll be 100% on board with whatever you have in mind. On that note, Mine’s opinions are not my own, nor do I condone his actions by any means. This is all fiction.
In regards to writing: I tend to delve more into literate replies with minimal formatting, but my writing is flexible and will vary depending on the interaction and who I’m interacting with. Whether it be shorthand, shitposts or full lit. threads, chances are I will make an effort to match your length; however, I do not expect anyone to feel obligated to do the same.
While ships aren’t a priority on this blog, this is something I’m very much open to provided there is ample chemistry between our muses ( and for Mine, that entails a LOT of chemistry ). Another thing to note is I portray Mine as a homosexual man, and as such, he won’t be interested in women/anyone feminine-presenting in a romantic/sexual light.
As for shipping, this next part is specifically for anyone who may write Daigo. As I intend to write, him, his feelings for Daigo Dojima were romantic in nature. This, however, isn’t expected to be reciprocated by any Daigo writers, nor will shipping with Mine be any easier if he does happen to interact with a Daigo. In his Survival AU, which I intend to be the main verse, he harbours a lot of guilt for how he’d treated matters leading up to his supposed death. As far as he’s concerned, he has yet to earn Daigo’s respect.
As far as triggers go, I’ll try my best to tag the basic ones, but if there’s anything you need me to add don’t hesitate to let me know! I’m not the best at gauging what needs a trigger and what doesn’t, so please bear with me if I happen to miss anything obvious. As for this account, there will be mature themes present: murder, crime, suicide ideation.
BIOGRAPHY
Taken from his wiki.
Born in 1976 to unnamed parents and orphaned at a very young age, he grew up in poverty, raised in an orphanage by his adoptive father who became terminally ill when Mine was still a child. On his deathbed, his father advised him to make something of his high intelligence and was sorry to leave him on his own. Having spent his childhood rejected by his peers for his background, Mine worked tirelessly to achieve wealth and status.
He became a very successful businessman in adulthood, earning a fortune in insider trading and real estate. Before the age of thirty-one he founded a venture company where he was employed in the capacity of both the company's chairman and the manager of the R&D department. As he had spent most of his life in solitude, it comforted him to have subordinates he could consider friends. He felt he was at a place in life where he could find what he truly wanted: genuine bonds with others. Mine's acquired lifestyle led him to be surrounded by people who used him for their own gain, resulting in numerous betrayals throughout his life.
In 2007, motivated by immediate profit, his trusted colleagues staged what in Mine's view was a coup d'etat in which he was dismissed from his position as the manager of the R&D department. To Mine, this left him as the company's chairman only in name. The same night, he witnessed an assassination attempt on Daigo Dojima, Chairman of the Tojo Clan, that left four Tojo men dead. Contrasted with what had just happened to him, the incident had a lasting impression on Mine. He became obsessed with finding out what Daigo's subordinates saw in him that they would die to protect.
With his investigation at a standstill, he decided he needed to see what caliber of man Daigo was for himself. He bribed a member of the Tojo, Kanda, to introduce him to the Nishikiyama Family under the guise of wanting to expand his business. Mine used aggressive methods to acquire property for the Nishikiyama Family, poaching third-tier families from under other Tojo organizations to get at their territory. The family's profits skyrocketed as a result. Their success caused conflict with the second acting patriarch of the Nishikiyama Family, which ended in Mine and Kanda driving him out.
Though Kanda claimed credit for Mine's work and became the third patriarch, Mine shot up the ranks as his right-hand man. As Mine had hoped, their success did not escape Daigo's notice, who was aware Mine was the one working behind the scenes. He warned him his methods went against the moral code of the yakuza and would end up getting him killed. Mine considered Daigo naïve and disregarded his advice, certain he would change his tune if enough money was put in front of him. Not satisfied that he understood enough about Daigo just yet, he continued his ways.
While transporting seven hundred million in payments to HQ, Mine and Kanda were ambushed by the second acting patriarch along with men from several families Mine had poached. Outnumbered, Kanda abandoned Mine and drove off with the money, a betrayal that left Mine in a near-suicidal state of despair. Daigo intervened, offering the second acting patriarch one billion yen in exchange for Mine's life and even taking a bullet for him. When asked why he would risk his life for someone like him, Daigo told Mine that it was natural to him, as he considered every member of the Tojo Clan his family.
This ultimately lead Mine to realize that the yakuza was exactly what he had been searching for, a society in which the bonds between men ruled supreme. For the first time in ages, Mine had found someone he loved and respected, and he came to consider his bond with Daigo his reason to live. With Daigo's support and his own clear thinking and financial prowess, he soon became the chairman of the Hakuho Clan as well as lieutenant advisor to the Tojo Clan.
VERSES
Yakuza 3.
timeline: circa 2009 tag: 円 ❛ I intend on moving forward in the way I see most fit. ; ( v: Yakuza 3 )
Despite the name, this verse loosely encompasses the events both leading up to Yakuza 3 ( starting where Mine is made the Patriarch of his own family ), to his actions following Daigo’s coma up until the end. WIP.
Survival AU.
timeline: post-2009 tag: 円 ❛ maybe in my next life... I'll have what it takes to earn your respect. ; ( v: Survival )
Following his fall from the Millennium Tower was a grueling and long recovery. It was a miracle he’d just barely managed to survive the fall, and it was by sheer luck alone he’d been recovered quick enough to be revived after a series of intensive surgeries to recover what was left. Comatose for the duration of his recovery, he’d awoken to discover he’d lost an arm to the fall. With his left arm shattered beyond repair, for once, he found himself fortunate his seemingly endless funds afforded him a competent prosthetic. That, however, had been the extent of his good fortune.
Following his actions, and how his state of mind had nearly resulted in him ending the life of the only man he’d ever deemed worthy of his extensive admiration, he deemed himself unworthy to return to his side. He’d lost his only purpose in life, saw himself undeserving of the life he’d retained, and having been unprepared to live with the consequences of his actions, was left without aim or direction.
With nowhere else to go, and wanting to separate himself from the city that’d caused him so much strife, he’d made an effort to wipe his slate clean; Mine Yoshitaka was dead. Had died on that fateful day, and with his death, no longer served as a burden to those he’d made a victim to his blind loyalty and devotion. Under a new name, Nagamine Asuka ( written "永峰 飛鳥"; Asuka written with the kanji for “flying bird,” he has quite the wry sense of humour ), he utilizes his understanding of the English language and moves to the United States. Not to start anew, but to separate himself from those he’d unintentionally dragged down.
Over the years, despite the distance, his newfound purpose had been continuing to funnel money into the Tojo Clan through a variety of different sources and businesses as to avoid being traced back to him, both as a means of atonement and for him to continue supporting the Sixth Chairman from “beyond the grave.”

Can I get a list of all ur ocs?
Well anon youve done it, you made me make a list of all my major OCS in one place. I hope your happy with yourself. Under the cut for obvious reasons, may link in my blog desc later.
Modern/BTD verse!!
Jilly- Ferret beastkin little creature, was recently turned into a werewolf by vincent as well so she's running around on full moons in a wereferret wolf hybrid creature form. Chaotic and friendly and wants to be everyone's bestie. She has the most energy in the world and is very kind hearted. Banned from most Claires for stealing and from one Home Depot for climbing the shelves. Prone to living life with rose colored glasses on and seeing the best in everything/everything even when there's nothing there. Socialization is a must for her and is why being basemented/kidnapped broke her psych so quickly and developed severe stockholm. Sometimes overly talkative/enthusiastic and can scare people off. Even if she sees someone shes decided shes friends with be noticeably 'evil', will convince herself it must be for some reason/her fault and ignore it.
Ciggy- Undead punk still learning to harness his powers to interact with the world as a ghost. Was sacrificed by a cult he joined for free concert tickets and to get laid. Likes to cause problems on purpose both pre and prior death and he's not above possessing someone once he learns how to. Was called Rooster in high school before he dropped out because he's loud, obnoxious and always screaming. And also has bright red dyed hair. Looking 4 ways to become less ghosty bcs he wants to be able to help raise his infant daughter, whom he died before he could meet. Bit annoying and in your face, likes poking at bruises, his or others. Kind of a sad heart seeking attention through volume and persistence.
Mike: Vampire loser! Sells drugs and lives at raves. Was turned when she was attacked by a coked out vampire (whom she supplied the product to) and has major scarring on her face and chest. Needs a somewhat constant influx of blood so shell sometimes take victims back to her place and chain them up, slowly draining them over time. Feels bad (ish) about it tho so it is possible to survive her if you are nice and or interesting enough. Kind of desperate for a friend and for love. Is a stalker. If she likes you enough/finds you interesting, she might just appear in your house one night and start rummaging through your fridge like nothing is wrong and youve been besties for years. Its best to indulge her and be friendly, otherwise she could turn violent quickly if her feelings are hurt.
Kilaine- Regular human woman, but fucked up. Born and raised by an elite waspy society she had an interest in the human body and pain tolerance since she was young. Quickly learned that these traits were socially unacceptable in most professions, so she became a doctor. The only family she cared about was her younger sister who she lost in a car accident, where they were flipped over and trapped inside while it was afire. While her sister burned up in front of her Kilaine only lost her left arm and had major burns on her body. This tipped her descent into sadism and she is now madly obsessed with bringing her sister back no matter the cost. Rude and offstandish, clinical.
Dragon age verse!
Thurwen- My main Hero of Ferelden with a bad temper and a heart of gold. City elf from the Denerim Alienage, 18 at the start of origins. She's a reaver warrior with a lot of pent up rage which sometimes scares others when she lets it out in battle. Over the years she's grown less moody as she's had to take the role of Commander. Crude sense of humor and violent impulses, very sensitive to the plights of others and tries often to help. Never seen crying in public but only cries to herself at night- major martyr and hanged man complex.
Caz- My circle mage elf inquisitor who was an apostate before the conclave. Blood magic, but make it sneaky. Wary of strangers and new faces, always dealing with the impulse to flee/find a high vantage point. Endless curiosity about the unknown/ the forbidden/ naughty, was supposed to be made tranquil for it but she escaped. Kind of a little creature as well, lived on her own for a while as an apostate in the woods, filed her teeth down to sharp ends to make herself look more intimidating (shes 5 ft tall) and less cute (her elf ears are huge and expressive, which shes embarrassed about)
Dag and Thagna- Carta twins! Professional lyrium smugglers since birth pretty much. Raised casteless in dust town and had to work their way up the chain of command by themselves. Dag is the brother, Thagna the sister. Their father traded them to the carta for drinking money and their mom died in childbirth so they have somewhat of a codependent relationship. Both charismatic and calculating, friendly and agreeable but won't hesitate to put a dagger in your back. Hard to pin down morally or physically, squirrelly bastards.
Reila: Dalish elf who works for the inquisition/ is the inquisitor in some aus. She has an extreme fixation on elvhen history and rebuilding what they have lost. Not a people person, prefers solitude. Takes some time to warm up to shemhlen as she has a hard history with them. Good friends with Caz, who recruited her in the first place. Doesn't understand very many social cues and finds societal expectations limiting and frustrating. Fondness for halla and hooved animals, which she finds graceful.
Elder scrolls verse!
Valkya: Near seven foot nord woman whos over a thousand years old by the events of skyrim. Tall and buff, two handed warrior and compulsive hero there to bask in the spotlight save the day. She was killed at the start of the events of Elder scrolls online and had her soul ripped out and sent to coldharbor and she's just been a pain in the ass about it since then. Her body can physically die and will not regrow pieces. Her soul however will escape and teleport to the nearest source of power where her body will regrow from an aetherial plasm until its whole again. Loud and brash, friendly and jovial. Actually pretty keen especially after centuries of life but prefers to play dumb as it makes people underestimate her. Plus, she really does enjoy mud wrestling and drinking contests and acting generally like a rambunctious frat boy. Ha developed a bit of a substance problem and a problem with acting out, as after being alive so long she would turn to anything to dull the ache inside of her that never goes away.
Espira- My Dragonborn! Redguard from Hammerfell who was briefly in the Ash’abah due to killing undead while protecting her parents water farm as a child. Ran away from them after years and went to Cyrodille, then to Skyrim and was caught crossing the border. Reserved, kind and soft spoken, she's a sword and shield warrior who's committed herself to doing good in the world by helping others. Dislikes killing and anything messy but believes it is often necessary in order to protect the weak. She blacksmiths often to save money on the upkeep of her own equipment, and takes up metal jewelry working as a hobby with the excess material. Prone to trusting others too much and giving too many second chances, as shes always looking for ways to make even the most hardened criminal a second look at life.
Riley- Espiras little brother who she locked in the wardrobe during the event of the water farm attack. In preventing him from doing violence against the undead she kept him from being conscripted into the Ash’abah. He's way more chaotic than his sister, and suffers from a case of little sibling syndrome in which he will often pester/poke at people just to get a rise out of them. Still kind hearted as his sister, he tries to hide it because he believes that the world is a cruel place and the cruel survive. Despite that belief he is often still unable to force himself to be cruel/careless, only making a show of it so that others leave him alone and don't see that he's very sensitive and emotional. Deaf in one ear due to a magic mishap in his youth, he trained and enchanted his most beloved rats to live for years and sit on his shoulder, alerting him to noises he would not otherwise notice.
Felria: Evil vamp :/ chaotic evil dunmer necromancer. Small and devilish and likes dead bodies too much. Manipulative and cunning, she loves acting. She's a trained assassin for the dark brotherhood and is the speaker. Likes dressing up for missions and wearing disguises like its all a play. Loves toying with people more than she loves killing them, will act in ways that cause as much trauma as possible for other people just for fun and she finds the reactions interesting. Considers herself too far removed from most people's perception of morality and of her so it's hard for her to trust someone or see them as worthy of knowing her. Finds the psychology of grief and fear to be interesting and wants to study them first hand. The hero of kvatch.
Herren: Fifty something year old rat woman looking for something to keep her going. Ran away from her wealthy family in her youth when they wanted her to take charge of the household, instead became an infamous jewel thief and swashbuckler. Spent most of her life traveling and stealing and double dealing. She's smarmy and sarcastic, a serial romancer of the highest caliber. Bit of a show off and a hedonist, always looking for the next good party or new product to snort. Her family died off due to the hard times she wasn't there for and she keeps looking for bigger and bigger heists to fill her appetite as she's chronically bored and lonely, though wont accept intimacy and will scoff at it out of the belief she doesn't deserve it. Irresponsible and selfish, lonely and terrified of any sort of commitment. Fun to party with though!
#my ocs#holy cow that took a while#how do i tag this#jilly#ciggy#kilaine#mike#thurwen#dag and thagna#caz#reila#valkya#espira#riley#herren#felria#AND THIS IS IGNORING A GOOD TEN OTHERS TOO GGSDFSDF#i have. a proble#too many!!!!#FEEl free 2 ask for more info on any :) i kno this is a lot

"i think if there's a chance we can get out of here without figuring out what the fuck's going on over there, we should try that." As much as she wants it to just be kids messing around, she can't bring herself to believe it. call it subconscious paranoia from getting murdered, or something. she'd rather just get out of there.
jules' talk about the car isn't a great vote of confidence, but they don't have much of a choice. it takes a couple tries, but she is able to open the door.
' you sure? because i found the tire iron. ' hovering over her open trunk, she held up the blunt object of choice. well, even if they chose to leave, she'd still keep it just in case, tucking it into her back pocket. ( they were her dad's jeans, they always had a lot more room ) if any dumb kids tried to mess with her, they'd probably run off the moment she pulled it out.
' well, we can see if my car starts up. it's 50/50 these days. ' jules dug her keys out, moving to unlock the door. ' yank a little hard on your door, it gets stuck sometime. '

Donna Beneviento
Game Canon (Pulled from Wiki):
Donna's Medical Report
Subject Name: Donna Beneviento
Cadou Affinity: Favorable
Brain Function: Normal, although severe mental illness.
Physically she is no different from a regular human, however, she can secrete a signal producing substance which controls plants infected by the mutamycete.
When humans absorb the pollen from a particular flower she can cause them to have hallucinations.
However, she is mentally underdeveloped and has divided her Cadou among her dolls in order to control them from a distance.
An unfit vessel for Eva.
Gardener's Diary:
November 10th
Mistress Donna is now Mother Miranda's adopted daughter. In all my years, I've never been this overjoyed.
Ever since childhood she has always feared others, due to the scar across her face.
After her parents' death she locked herself away and would only talk to Angie, the doll her father made her.
I am forever thankful to Mother Miranda's infinite compassion.
November 27th
Mistress Donna seems happy. It might be my imagination, but I feel like her doll Angie is even more lively than before.
She came to me in the garden today and used Angie to talk with me. We had a mighty fine conversation.
Something about receiving a gift of power from Mother?
November 29th
Mistress Donna gave me yellow flowers and told me to plant them in the garden.
I planted them in front of Miss Claudia's grave. I don't know if it was the scent of the flowers, but I felt light headed. Then, like a dream, I saw my departed wife.
I mentioned this to Donna and she seemed thrilled by it. She told me to go to the house tomorrow and see her. She said I could see my family once more.
I'm not sure what she meant by that, but she's so kind.
Biography:
"Donna Beneviento was born into gentry sometime in the 20th century. The family of House Beneviento had ancestral links to Berengario, an ancient mutant in folklore said to have settled the region with three others, of whom the Dimitrescu, Moreau and Heisenberg families are descended from. Whether this feudal rule over the region was continually maintained or had disappeared by the Great War is uncertain, though Miranda - a prophet serving the Black God - sought to establish their descendants as a council controlling the region under her oversight.
During Donna's lifetime, the Beneviento family slowly fell apart; Bernadette was lost to Miranda's experiments in the 1950s, and her parents committed suicide when she was still a child. Due to an undiagnosed mental health problem, Beneviento developed deep-seated interpersonal anxieties which kept her largely isolated and preferring to talk to people through Angie, a doll made by her father. Donna's adulthood was mostly focused on her hobby of doll-making, effectively replacing her deceased family. Whether Claudia was a sister or her only daughter is uncertain. (For my version of Donna Claudia was her sister)
At some point in adulthood, Donna was implanted with the Cadou like Bernadette before her. She survived the experimentation with little change in physical appearance or cognitive development, gaining the ability to secrete a psychoactive chemical which could induce extreme, even violent hallucinations in people. She was, however, judged to be a failure by Miranda, who saw her as mentally ill and underdeveloped. In spite of this, Donna was welcomed as an adopted daughter, and given a council seat at the Cave Church as one of the Four Lords. This had a positive effect on her and she would talk about it to her gardener, though was still not able to express it without Angie. "
Verses:
Intact Glass:
This is set before Ethan arrives. Donna still has Angie and uses her to talk. She will often explore the town at night, taking Angie everywhere she goes. Upon being approached she is likely to retreat back to her home. While she doesn't tend to experiment with Cadou on humans, she does divide it among her dolls to control them. She has also tested the possibility of transferring souls to her dolls. Currently the only victim she's been successful with is her Gardner, who she intends to keep forever. She desires family ties, but anxiety keeps her from communicating without Angie.
Shattered Glass:
Set after the events of the game, Donna didn't die, but instead transferred herself to a mannequin she'd made long ago in the event of her death. She's devastated that Ethan took Angie and has more trouble communicating as a result. There is a possibility that she'll somehow get Angie back, maybe through the Duke. But that's thread dependent.
In the main lore for this verse she's made dolls of the other lords, Mother Miranda, and the daughters and keeps them locked away in her home, believing that with them under her control she can have the family she's always wanted. Details including whether or not the dollified characters still have their abilities or not can be discussed while plotting. If you are playing a character that's typically become dollified we can also discuss whether it worked or not, as well as any other concerns. With enough trust she may even transfer characters to mannequins, which is what she's currently in. She is actively searching for a way to recreate her body.

10 Greatest archaeological discoveries in Greece the previous decade (2010 - 2019)
*You can see original Greek article by Pengy Riga here. This is a summary of what I read there translated in English and closer to my personal tone.
10. Possibly the oldest Homo sapiens skull in Europe (2019).
The skull was found in the caves “Apedema” in Mani and it was estimated to be 210.000 years old, five times older than any other Homo sapiens skull found in Europe. According to another research the skull comes from a transitive phase between Neaderthals and Homo erectus. This discovery invites the reexamination of the time the first men left Africa and spread to Europe and Asia as it might have happened way before we thought.
9. Ancient wooden artifacts (2011, 2013, 2014).
These include a wooden statue of a woman found in the Temple of Artemis in Brauron (5th Century BCE), the coffin of a young person from the Archaic Era (610 - 480 BCE), a small statue of Hermes and more than 550 other wooden artifacts and objects from the Hellenistic Era (150 - 86 BCE) in Piraeus. What is so important about all these findings is that they are made of wood, which naturally decomposes easily and quickly, so wooden archeological findings are very rare.
8. Neikó, the possessed lady of Síkinos (2018).
In the remote island of Sikinos there is an impressive mausoleum of the late antiquity. It was turned into a church during the Byzantine Era and remained a functional church till recently, when it closed for the public because it needed extensive restorations. During the restoration project, archaeologists found for the first time the unlooted tomb of a high-class woman, to whom this mausoleum was apparently dedicated. The woman was buried with all her dearest and most precious belongings but the tomb was so well hidden that it escaped all three known invasions throughout the centuries and was found accidentally when a wall collapsed in 2018. The tomb was not in the regular crypts of the mausoleum but hidden in a blind spot between two walls within the building. Her tomb was also sealed tightly, her skeleton was found in an unusual position and sulphur and tar were placed on her chest. It seems that she was believed to be possessed so they had taken precautions to ensure she wouldn’t rise after death. Nevertheless, she was loved by her family, judging from the beauty of her Mausoleum as well as the memorial scripts found in the monument. Her name was Neikó.
7. Ceramic plaque with verses from Homer´s Odyssey (2018)
The plaque was found in Ancient Olympia and has 13 verses from the Odyssey. It is estimated to originate from the Roman Era, before the 3rd Century AD. It might be the oldest Homeric text of that length found in the Greek territory and the only one carved into pottery. It was included in “Archaeology” magazine’s list of the 10 most important discoveries for 2018.
6. Tomb of Casta in Amphipolis (2014)
Easily the discovery that drew the most attention worldwide and a neverending archaeological and political thriller to this day. This is the largest burial monument ever found in Greece, in east Macedonia. It has a perimeter of 500 meters, four underground rooms, sphinxes in the entrance, two big Caryatids that would block the intruder from entering the last room with their arms, a beautiful large mosaic that depicts Hades kidnapping Persephone and finally four skeletons, belonging to two men, one old woman and a child. The excavation drew so much attention that it was abused for political reasons and it basically happened livestream, as the entire nation would watch the progress in the news every day. This inflamed the war between the two leading political parties, it messed up the excavating process itself and it caused unprecedented animosity amongst archeaologists and historians. The greatest reason for the fights was the initial disagreement for the dating of the monument as well as the identity of the dead found in it. Depending on their political affiliations, half the politicians and scientists would jump to wondrous conclusions without evidence while the other half would downgrade the importance of this discovery beyond belief. When the government changed, the Tomb of Casta was inexplicably and mysteriously abandoned. Only the local people kept protesting and pushing the authorities to continue the excavations. Since then, the leading party has changed again and the new government promises to continue the work as quickly and efficiently as possible so that the monument will open to the public until 2022. The scientific community has at least agreed that the tomb dates back to the late 4th - early 3rd Century BCE. There are many extremely optimistic estimations about the identity of the dead and equally many counter-arguments. Hopefully, we’ll eventually get some objective answers as the excavations continue. It’s been realised that excavations should continue in all the area as it is suspected that the Tomb of Casta is not the only monument waiting to be unearthed there.
5. Daskalió of Keros (1963 - 2018)
Daskalió is a settlement on the westmost cape of Keros island. Multiple excavations have taken place there from 1963 to this day by the University of Cambridge and the British School of Athens. The excavations have revealed a prehistoric shrine and settlement, densely and skillfully built. The shrine and the artifacts found in the excavations date to the 3rd millenium BCE, which makes Daskalió according to Cambridge professor Colin Renfrew the oldest known coastal shrine in the world. The findings suggest this was the work of an expert architect and the infrastructure on the location was based on a well planned project. Furthermore, there are indications that Daskalió was an important center of metallurgy. However, they imported the metals they used from other islands which also suggests nautical expertise.
4. The eternal couple of Dirós (2015)
The skeletons of two young adults, a man and a woman, were found in an embrace in a hill in Dirós. Double burials with the dead embracing are extremely rare and this one is one of the most ancient found, if not the oldest, dating back to 6000 - 3800 BC.
3. The Underground of Thessaloniki (1986 2013 till forever)
If Amphipolis is a political thriller, then the underground of Thessaloniki is the national comedy. Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece and thus has a bad need for a subway. The creation of a subway began in the 80s and... it’s still in the process, making the (future) subway of the city a Greek meme and a joke everyone at this point understands. However, there is a solid reason for this delay. Back in 2004 the archaeologists warned that the subway routes that were planned to be dug under the city’s central part should be modified because the area was of extreme archaeological interest. They were ignored and eventually the works were interrupted by the unavoidable discovery of Ancient Thessaloniki. Some of the most impressive findings are the largely intact main roads of the city, such as the Roman built Decanus Maximus and the Byzantine built Middle Avenue, which survived till the 18th century. Crossroads, houses, shops, graveyards and monuments have also been found. Scratches on the roads made by carriages can be seen. More than 300,000 artifacts were discovered, such as statues, jewels and other small objects. Now the fate of the underground has also become a political game as the two leading political parties fight on whether the artifacts should remain on their spot undisturbed which would make the subway’s creation harder and more dangerous or they should be removed until the subway is complete and then returned to their original place with a claimed accuracy of 90%. What’s certain is that when (or if) the subway is complete, the ancient city will be easily accessed via the metro, visible from its windows and there will also be the option to walk on the ancient roads.
2. The Tomb of the Griffin Warrior (2015)
A grand tomb was found next to the Mycenean palace of Nestor in Pylos. A skeleton was discovered in the tomb along with no less than 3500 burial gifts. The gifts were weaponry, jewels and other objects exclusively made of valuable metals and stones. Not a single plain object was found, such as a ceramic amphora for example. Many of the artifacts are made in typical Minoan style which invites a reevaluation of the relations between the Minoans and the Myceneans. The monument took its name from an ivory plaque depicting a griffin, a power symbol for both Pylos and Minoan Crete. The tomb dates back to 1500 BC and it is the best evidence of wealth in prehistoric Greece found in the last 63 years. The most important finding however is that of a tiny seal, which is unique because it’s a masterful work of miniature art that resembles the much later classical Greek art. Archaeologists deem impossible the creation of this gorgeous piece of art without a magnifying glass. The art depicts two warriors, one slitting the other’s throat with his sword. The imagery has elements that suggest an event resembling those from the Iliad - which suggests that this event depicted on this tiny seal in the Griffin Warrior’s tomb was part of the inspiration of the oral lore of the Homeric epics that began in the following centuries. It is obvious that the dead man was a most influential figure of his era.
1. Necropolis of Fáliron (2012-2016)
The most macabre discovery makes it to the first place. The largest part of the necropolis, a mass graveyard, was found already in 1913. Numerous people were executed there with the violent method of Apotymbanismós (Αποτυμπανισμός) that might have inspired the Roman crucification. A century later, in 2012, the excavations expand and unearth thousands of different burials spanning from the 8th - 4th century BCE. The most sensational discovery would happen in 2016 though; a mass burial of no less than 80 prisoners, tied and placed next to each other. All were young men of good health and were not executed with the method of apotymbanismos. Based on the evidence, the mass execution took place in the middle of the 7th Century BCE and these men must have tried to take over the rule of Athens. This was an unstable political era in the Athenian history indeed. This discovery was included in the 10 Greatest Discoveries for 2016 in the magazine Archaeology.

Vynania keeps herself at arm’s length from others, which attributes to her distant nature. Despite this, she still cares greatly for her family, and her friends can still depend on her when they need her.
History:
Four Years Ago...
Four years from the start of her journey, Vynania was an 18 year old girl with dreams of sailing the open seas and skies of Khorvaire. She lived in Seaside, one of the Southern-most cities of Cyre, and her hometown had once been a popular tropical vacation spot for many, even during the Last War.
On the Day of Mourning, when much of Cyre was covered in a deadly mist, Vynania just barely managed to escape via boat into the Kraken Bay. However the shockwave of the event still reached the waters, and sent her boat crashing into the oncoming storm. She woke up alone just north of Pylas Maradal, an elven city to the SouthEast of Seaside.
Much of the next four years was spent in Pylas Maradal, where Vynania worked at the shipyard that had been established by the Lyrandar family. Once she earned enough money, she set sail to the West to Sharn so that she could hopefully meet up with her Uncle, Dantian d’Lyrandar.
Present Time...
Instead of meeting with her Uncle, Vynania instead met a group of adventurers in the Clifftop Guild, where she is now taking on jobs. The rest of her team consists of the following:
Bastion, Warforged Paladin Not the brightest of the bunch, but he makes for a powerful and intimidating ally. He seems to be currently piecing together his forgotten past.
Shazer, Gnome Bard (MIA) A former soldier from the Zilargo army, turned con-man. He’s got a way with words, but often makes questionable decisions. Recently, the group discovered that Shazer had been forging false treasure maps and selling them to unsuspecting, fresh adventurers. He has been the cause of several dozen reckless deaths. Now, he roams the Mournland after killing an innocent woman, and subsequently leaving the group after being branded by Bastion.
Selroe, Gnome Rogue A woman who took to spy work in order to make money to help support her family. Currently goes by “Baul” as an alias, a name of which she stole to gain access to the Clifftop guild.
Kiera, Tiefling Bloodhunter A quirky character, Kiera is very far from home and it shows. Likes to experiment with her powers. However, she is definitely much smarter than she looks.
Alistair, a Human Cleric A resident of Sharn, and a former worker at a local orphanage. He has a heart of gold and urges the group to do good deeds. Though even he must learn that nothing is black and white.
Jacob, Human Gunslinger Having just recently met, Vynania knows little of this strange man. Though they have a similar goal now: Hunt Shazer. After learning what their former comrade did prior to their meeting, she wants to see him pay for his crimes. Jacob wishes the same.
Hawth, Drow Bard A mysterious and dark-clothed man, easily mistaken for a thief or a rogue. He speaks little and Vynania trusts him even less so. Thus far he has yet to prove himself trustworthy. At least they have a similar personality..
Misc:
Verses:
Main Verse - Born in the city of Seaside on the southern bay of Cyre, Vynania lived a life of excitement from day one. She learned quickly from her father about the art of sailing both sea and sky and dreamed of owning her own ship one day. This all came to a halt when she was 18 years of age, on the Day of Mourning.
Her home destroyed and having barely survived the encounter by some miracle, she spent the subsequent four years working to earn enough money to travel to Sharn and begin her adventure to find her missing family...
FFXIV Verse - Vynania found that her life was made for the sea from the day she was born. Being a child borne of an Elezen mother and Hyur father, her existence was not going to be welcomed in Ishgard. So, her family turned to Limsa Lominsa to make their home. Growing up around pirates and the like, Vynania took quickly to learning the trade of sailing.
When the Calamity struck, her parents were on the sea. Their boat never returned from its trip. Mourning and bitter, Vynania sails to Ul’dah, unable to stay in her childhood home. There, she learns the trade of the gladiators, and while her temper runs hot and the sea beckons her, she has turned her life around and vows to always protect those who cannot protect themselves.

for addy, it's never processed as her blinking out and back in. hell, she doesn't process it as anything at all. of course she doesn't, she can't explain something like that away. the idea that she just stops for brief moments doesn't make sense under the belief that she's alive. so him startling gives her a somewhat skeptical look. "where would i have gone?" she asked, mostly just joking around. she's heard before that she moves quietly and accidentally tends to sneak up on people, that was a thing from before she was a ghost, even.
@deathsbecome ... liked. remember when. wallows.
this happened every now and then, and he wasn't sure why he always got so worried. one moment she would be there, and the next... gone. it happened sometimes with spirits, but what was even worse? when the next second, they were back again. he jumps, though, she's not anything to be afraid of. just instinct. "s-sorry! sorry. uh. i just. looked around. and uh. you were gone. but." apparently not! every time, there is this tiny fear that maybe he will never see her again.

Ashelia ~ Available RP Verses
{out of dalmasca} Here are some specific verses for Ashelia so that muns of muses from Final Fantasy games, not from FF games, from the MCU, from other fandoms, etc. can get an idea of how they might interact with her. If you have any questions or would like to plot in a specific verse, let me know! =)
{ princess of dalmasca } ᵖʳᵒˡᵒᵍᵘᵉ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This is Ashelia before the death of her father and the fall of Nabudis, at age 17 and onward. She would start out very sheltered and naïve, and would not yet have gone through any of the main events of the game. However, from here, her timeline can deviate from canon, certain major events can be omitted or changed, and Ashelia would be available for alternative plots, such as being married to someone other than Rasler or being sent to Archadia to facilitate peace.
{ archadia does not own us } ʳᵉˢⁱˢᵗᵃⁿᶜᵉ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This verse takes place in the two-year interim after the death of Ashelia’s husband, Prince Rasler, and the assassination of her father, King Raminas but before she begins her quest to prove her legitimacy and restore Dalmascan sovereignty. During this time, she is in hiding as the leader of the Dalmscan Resistance, “Amalia,” with Vossler and other remnants of the Order as well as a few others who survived the fall of Dalmasca and know her true identity. They are duty bound to protect her and keep her from falling into Archadian hands, but Ashelia is headstrong, angry, and restless, and prefers to actively work against the Archadian occupation of Dalmasca, even if it’s very dangerous for her to do so.
{ for dalmasca } ᵐᵃⁱⁿ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This is canon Ashelia (age 19-20ish) in Ivalice after the death of her father and the fall of Nabudis, likely in Dalmasca, but location will vary according to what part of the Final Fantasy XII timeline you want your muse to be in. This verse is for those who have Final Fantasy muses or want to place their muse inside the FFXII world. Your character would be native to some part of Ivalice or the same world at least, and would then encounter Ashelia.
Until then, if you want to know more or have questions, you can always ask me!) This verse contains everything the main verse does, but then also includes a number of headcanons regarding Basch, his brother Gabranth/Noah, their parents, the Archadian empress, and Larsa Solidor that venture into very tragic and potentially triggering topics, including child abuse/endangerment, sexual abuse, psychological abuse, violent murder, and mental illness. So any threads with Ashelia that are in this verse or have this tag take those events into account. They also take into account more detailed headcanons about Ashelia’s childhood, and her relationships with her father, Basch, and Vossler. Most of this will likely not be described in detail, but it exists in the verse, should it come up in the muses’ conversation. The canon game was chopped up and had many plot holes and time gaps, so this verse fills in, fleshes out, adds headcanons, explains holes and gaps, and generally smooths out the plot to make much more sense, but with some darker themes in an attempt to make a more harshly realistic story for Ashelia, Basch, Noah, and others.
{ queen of dalmasca } ᵉᵖⁱˡᵒᵍᵘᵉ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
This verse follows Ashe’s main verse and includes anything that occurred after the FFXII main game but before the events of Fortress. So, anything from the epilogue of the game and in the years following the end of the war and Ashe’s coronation as Queen of Dalmasca would be covered by this verse.
{ royal avenger } ᵐᶜᵘ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
In this verse, Ashelia has been frozen in stasis by a spell cast by an Esper while fighting it with the canon adventuring group of FFXII. They didn’t have the ability to dispel the magic and free her, and so they were forced to leave her behind. She was found (likely by SHIELD or SWORD or some similar agency) in a modern day setting in the MCU, and much like Steve Rogers, she is a person out of time. Being a former princess and having experience with both weapons and magic, Ashelia was directed to join the Avengers, where she could be of use fighting for the greater good in various ways.
{ full circle } ᶠᵒʳᵗʳᵉˢˢ ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ
Ashelia would be about 30 years old in this verse. This verse incorporates the scrapped storyboards, setting, and timeline of Fortress, the canceled FFXII sequel. Any events that take place just before, during, or after the events of this would-be game are including in this verse. You can read more about Fortress and its story here.
