Masumi (P):

Masumi doesn’t necessarily enjoy being called beautiful 

He tends to like more masculine terms like handsome

But sometimes compliments just come out naturally, and you happened to call him beautiful

He’ll get bashful. Any praise from you is good praise

Then he’ll start trying to get called that more

Tsuzuru (R):

It catches him off guard

“Tsuzuru, I just can’t get enough of your beautiful writing. It’s just like you.”

“Beautiful?” He’ll ask

“Of course!”

He smiles to himself. He doesn’t really know how to respond

Instead, he’ll just lean in closer and ask for your favorite moments in his writings

Yuki would get shy, but feels very proud

You compliment him, his outfits, and his ability to look good in anything

No one in this whole entire game knows how to take a compliment, including Yuki

He would be smiling to himself the rest of the day though

It’s so adorable

Muku (P):

“Muku!! The world’s most beautiful prince!!”

“Ahh!!” Why would you say that?! Now he won’t be able to focus!

His face is red for the rest of the day and whenever he sees you

It’s adorable

Call him that every once in a while to throw him off guard

It’s hard complimenting Misumi

The best you could come up with is “You’re like a beautiful triangle”

It works, because his eyes are sparkling and he has a giant smile

He then gets all serious and says 

“You are like a precious triangle that shines in the moonlight”

Surprisingly sweet

Kazunari (R): 

Ok I lied, maybe Kazunari is the only one who knows how to take a compliment

“You think so? Thanks!”

He smiles and then compliments you back with no effort

Damn extroverts that are good at people pleasing

But it’s fun to compliment him (he will brag about it)

Kumon (P):

Kumon doesn’t think he’s beautiful

He just kinda…doesn’t think about his appearance that much at all

So when you call him beautiful, he’s taken aback

He’ll kinda switch the subject and say it’s a part of a nutritional diet

Autumn Troupe:

Sakyo (R):

“You’re beautiful.”

Sakyo would lean back, a blush spreading from the center of his face outwards until it reaches his ears

He would scowl, pushing you away

“Don’t say that!”

Just smile and say “I’m only speaking the truth!!”

He’ll leave from embarrassment after mumbling out a thank you

Juza (P):

Juza (derogatory) kinda glares at you

Not in a mean way, but in a “wtf” way

His heart is pounding into his chest because who in their right mind would call him beautiful?

You’re not in your right mind, obviously

Juza will eventually mutter out a “thanks” and then run away never to be seen again

Banri (R):

“Ya think?”

He gives you a goofy ass smile and then (roughly) pats your head

He laughs his cute little laugh and your heart melts

“I wouldn’t say it if it weren’t true”

“Ok, that’s enough”

He’ll  get “annoyed” and then try and change the subject

Rare embarrassed Banri!!!

Omi (R):

Omi (sobs) would have a really sweet reaction

He’ll gasp a little bit and go “you don’t have to say that”

“But I do! People should state the obvious”

I feel like he would click his tongue and hug you

God, I wanna hug him

Taichi (P): 

“Taichi!! Oh, I love the outfit today! You look beautiful today.”

“Thank yo- what?!”

He’ll be so surprised like :o

He seriously doesn’t know what to do and starts stuttering out some responses

“Why didn’t you just call me cool?!?”

Runs away crying

Azami (P):

Ok I lied again, Azami takes compliments like a pro

“Wow! You’re really beautiful today, Azami”

“I tried out some new skincare products. These ones may be expensive, but give a really good glow and smooth finish”

“Show me your ways”

On the inside, he’s smiling like a doofus, but on the outside he’s seriously teaching you about skincare

Winter Troupe:

Tasuku (R): 

Tasuku wouldn’t really know how to react

He just kind of stares at you blankly

“…Why?”

“Because you are.”

“Oh. Thank you?”

You think his reaction is funny so you keep calling him beautiful whenever you get the chance

Homare (R):

Oh god, here comes the theatrics (i love it)

“Beautiful? Beautiful?!?! My dear, my beauty cannot be compared to that of yours. Your beauty is like-”

He starts rambling on and on

Of course you’re listening, but you’re also smiling at the way the tips of his ears are tinted red and his words slightly shake from embarrassment

Give him a flower that means beauty and suddenly whoosh

He’s blushing and laughing that cute awkward laugh of his

“Are you trying to say something?”

“I’m trying to say you’re beautiful.”

“Hehe…thank you.”

He likes that flower a lot more now

Azuma (R):

Damn it…this bastard gets called beautiful all the time!

You can’t even get out the compliment

“Hmmm? What is it? You’re stuttering.”

Yeah, anyone would stutter with Azuma looking at them like they were a dessert!! 

“Just that you’re- uhm…really..prett- I mean. You’re beautiful.”

Why are you the only one flustered in this situation?

Hisoka (R):

“You look so beautiful when you’re sleeping…”

You only whisper it so he can’t hear

Yet he suddenly shifts and grabs your hand

You both know he’s pretending at this point but…

You don’t say anything. Just watch him and smile

Guy (R):

“You’re beautiful .”

“Hmmm.”

That was his response. You didn’t know why you called him that, it just happened

Now you’re both standing there awkwardly

He’s just staring at you

You’re fidgeting and getting uncomfortable…

“Thank you.”

Well, you know what it is, I'm here to ask you all to vote for my boy Juza. But I wrote propaganda once so might as well do it again. This time in a bit of a story. Please excuse any OOC in my writing. First go at writing these characters

Juza exhaled as he returned backstage. He did it, he actually did it. When he came in he would've been happy to go a few rounds but now he is in the finals. It was still blowing his mind, like how? He could feel the weight of people's expectations. His fans, the fans of those who trusted him to go all the way. From the Hermie and Barbie fans to maybe even a few Karen fans. Speaking of, hopefully, she'll feel better after they go get those parfaits. He knew a great place she would hopefully enjoy. God, I hope the girls there won't be so scared when they see him walk in. As long as he is with her. He sighs once again wishing he sometimes looked more like Muku and Kumon so he could go in there without worrying about scaring people. He opens his dressing room when he hears a cacophony of shouts.

"Congratulations," shouts the entirety of the Mankai company shocking Juza as he closes the door.

Muku and Kumon rush him and pull him into a deep hug.

"Congratulations Ju-chan,* shouts Muku.

"You're so awesome Nii-chan," shouts Kumon.

"Just relax and have yourself a snack, you're making us all proud," assures Omi as he hands him some macarons. "Even made your favorite flavor."

"Those Shadow Girls better watch out as you got this," follows up Taichi.

"Oi, don't give him a big head," says Banri looking away.

"Well to be fair he should have some ego, he got further than any of us," retorts Tenma.

"Just shows hard work leads to results," smiled Sakuya.

"If you need any help the winter troupe and I will be happy to help you prepare," said Tsumugi.

"Thanks, I don't know if I deserve all these kind words. Honestly, it should have been one of you. You are the leaders for a reason and make a much better representative for our group," responded Juza.

"Banri," stated Itaru, smirking and giving Banri an expecting look. Bringing a blush from Banri.

"You're going to have to say something," joined in Chikage. Bring a groan from Banri.

"Just do it already leader, you know you have to," followed up Azami in a matter-of-fact tone.

"FINE, ok listen here because I'm going to say this once! I don't want to hear you say you don't deserve this. You acted your ass off and you deserve to win out, because you're my rival, and I want you to prove yourself the best because it means I have a higher level to reach when I catch up," says Banri, blushing furiously.

"Ah it seems Banri is being tsunami about this, no," chimes in Citron.

"It seems so," nodded Guy.

"It's tsundere," groaned Masumi correcting the two.

"I feel inspiration coming for a poem," celebrates Homare.

"Will you all shut up," screeches Banri.

"Banri," catching Banri's attention. "Thanks …. but don't get bold thinking you're going to catch up after I win. I'm about to leave you in the dirt, but feel free to try," smiles Juza. Bring a chuckle from the group as the two enter a shouting match.

"We had our laughs but it is time to focus, the shadow girls are no slouches," states Tasuka.

"Indeed they will be formidable opponents, but we're sure you'll pull through," says Azuma calmly.

"If you need a good luck charm, hold one of my lucky triangles," cheers Misumi.

"Marshmellow," offers Hisoka holding out one of his beloved marshmallows to Juza.

"If you need some new costumes I can help you out, standard gangster," says Yuki with a knowing smile.

"I can help with running through some scripts as well," follows up Tsuzuru.

"I'll be firing up the hashtags to help you win," smirks Kazunari already typing up a storm on his phone.

"Everyone," blushes Juza.

"Hyodo," states Sakyo as he and Izumi approach him.

"Juza when you joined us you were worried you never be able to stand on stage, but look at you now you got a chance to win the best actor tournament. But win or lose we are all proud of you," congratulates Izumi.

"Hyodo, I'll not mince words. You're far too humble I know you want to go out there and prove yourself the best. In my opinion, you've proven yourself a true thespian more than enough times. But if winning this tournament is the proof you need to feel you deserve to call yourself a true thespian I want you to go out there and crush them, can you do that," asks Sakyo.

"I …" stutters Juza.

"I ask can you do that," says Sakyo raising his voice.

"Yes … I want to win this, I want it more than you could believe," says Juza almost holding back tears.

Sakyo smiles. "Then you best go out there and win, because I want you to believe what we all believe," everyone in the room smiles with confidence nodding to Sakyo's statement.

Juza just runs his hand through his hair, "God it is going to suck now if I lose, but if you all believe in me. I refuse to let you all down … thank you, everyone." said Juza through a few tears of happiness as he gets pulled into one big group hug.

Juza now walks toward the stage, the final stage of this tournament. He knows no one will be ashamed he isn't to win as long as he gives it everything but now that isn't good enough. He wants to win dammit, and he going to do just that. He charges the stage ready to act his ass off.

He wanted to act in order to "become someone else", but in the process of acting he learnt to embrace himself instead, and to use that as fuel for his acting. He's extremely passionate and this passion is contagious to his fellow troupemates. He may not be the leader of the troupe, but he sure is its heart. Despite his wanting to change himself at the start, even from his initial scenes he's ready to face who he is, and to show vulnerability on stage. This and passion are key attributes for any performer to have."

I was doing these to get some inspiration into my brain and ended up liking the results.

🌸 Sakuya has a habit of squeezing your elbow gently to get your attention whenever you’re doing something else. He wasn’t aware until someone mentioned it, making him blush.

🌸 Masumi has a habit of sitting silently next to you while listening to music. Whenever a song he likes pops up, he’ll unconsciusly take off one of his earbuds and place it on your ear, being his way of sharing things he likes.

🌸 Tsuzuru has a habit of rambling to you about details he learns from working on his scripts. If he notices it he usually groans and stops talking altogether, only for you to nudge him affectionately so he keeps going. 

🌸 Citron has a habit of welcoming you with elaborated handshakes even though you two never plan them before-hand. He likes to see your face go from confusion to joy at the mess you make trying to follow his moves with a smile.

🌸 Itaru has a habit of naming or creating characters that resemble you as much as he can whenever he starts a new game. He uses it to test the first levels, sending pictures of said character defeating an enemy, trying garments, or just failing a path over and over to tease you.

🌸 Chikage has a habit of subtly tugging you closer to his side whenever it gets too packed. Becomes hyper focused on the possibility of losing you in a crowd- not that he will show it.

🔆 Kazunari has a habit of calling you a different nickname almost every day: pumpkin, boo, sunshine… though at this point most of them are a bit of a stretch like art gallery, premium or goals, so you now end up responding to anything that might resemble him talking to you.

🔆 Tenma has a habit of sending a random ‘what are you doing’ or just texting complaints about how much the summer troupe messes with him whenever he misses you and wants to hang out, but is too embarrassed to say it.

🔆 Yuki has a habit of adjusting your clothes. No matter what, even if he’s talking to someone, if he sees you entering from the other side of the room he’ll eventually approach you to take care of your dishevelled shirts, jackets or rearranging your scarf.

“Good. Now you look decent”

🔆 Muku has a habit of calling for you whenever he bumps into things so you can personify them and he can properly apologize. Though it started as a joke from your part, now you can’t help but laugh at how immerse he gets into the conversations.

🔆 Kumon has a habit of playing with your fingers. If you two are sitting together he will definitely end up taking your hand in his at some point and unconsciously give you tiny massages.

🔆 Misumi has a habit of drawing tiny triangles on any paper or notebook you might leave on his sight next to a smiling face. Sometimes when you are visiting Mankai you feel something ticklish on the back of your hand, only to find Misumi drawing a cute triangle on it.

🍁 Juza has a habit of waiting for you when you are eating sweets together so that you both eat your last pieces at the same time. You insist he doesn’t have to, but he shrugs. They taste somewhat even sweeter this way.

🍁 Sakyo has a habit of messaging you the first part of a quote to make sure you have arrived at your place. When you reply with the end of the sentence that’s when he relaxes and knows you’re back safe and sound.

🍁 Omi has a habit of feeding you the very first bite of any meal he’s making when you are around, blowing it to cool it down. He likes to see your face light up, chuckling at your weird compliments. 

“What do I get today?”

“Sir Omi, you just established the Empress of all grilled meats”

🍁 Azami has a habit of buying different creams and oils that he finds would be good for your skin. He then will give you pop quizzes from time to time to see if you are effectively following his instructions.

🍁 Taichi has a habit of looking for you before an important performance to exchange fighting poses in silence to hype himself up. The poses tend to get bigger and more extravagant until you both end up giggling so much Sakyo has to grab him to go backstage.  

🍁 Banri has a habit of pinching your cheeks. It doesn’t matter if what you just said is the smartest thing in the world, a weird remark or asked for the weather, his hand will go directly to your cheek in seconds as he answers you.

❄ Tsumugi has a habit of singing happy birthday songs with you to the baby flowers on the courtyard when they bloom for the first time. You proposed it once and now he gets really excited whenever you visit, truly thinking they recognize the sound of your voices.  

❄ Guy has a habit of offering his hand for you to support yourself at all times. When he opens a door and you are behind so you enter first, before sitting or when you are about to stand up. 

❄ Azuma has a habit of drawing shapes on your back. It always makes you shiver and he chuckles, finding it cute. Sometimes he also writes words to which you’ll try to guess the meaning of.

“Wait, what did you just write?”

“Mhm? Ah, I wonder…”

❄ Tasuku has a habit of carrying stuff for you. Whether it’s bags or textbooks, he’ll always grab it for you at some point, sometimes forgetting to give it back and therefore bringing it to Mankai.

❄ Homare has a habit of placing his jacket on you, whether is to keep you from the cold, the rain or just as a comfort blanket if you ever feel upset. He sometimes might not know the right words to say, but hopes his presence and the weigh of his jacket makes you feel protected.

nicknames | all troupes!

sakuya - he’s very shy and probably will not be able to use a nickname with out blushing furiously. but if he does decide to use one he’d probably go for something like honey, sweetie, or baby. or some variation on your name. he likes being called pretty much anything but calling him saku or babe makes his heart flutter.

masumi - won’t go for nicknames right away. but he does like calling you babe. he’s happy to be called anything as long as it comes out of your mouth. he does like being called masu, sweetheart, or babe too.

tsuzuru - he’s super big on nicknames. it’s actually shocking when he doesn’t call you by one. sweetie, sweetheart, princess, and love are some of his favorites. he’s big on being called ruru (as in tsuzuRU) or just simply babe or bae.

itaru - he isn’t too big on nicknames, but he likes sweetheart or darling. or even better, calling you his player two. this man loves it if he can make some kind of geeky reference in a nickname. he absolutely loves it if you call him taruchi.

citron - definitely calls you princess or darling. he has no issue with using nicknames (though occasionally he might mess them up). he doesn’t really care if you use nicknames for him or not.

tenma - more nervous then he thought he would be when he first tries to give you a nickname. he’s done it plenty of times on tv, it shouldn’t be too hard, right? wrong. he might be able get away with saying cutie or kitten before becoming a blushing mess. otherwise he can get away with calling you sunshine without becoming too much of a mess.

yuki - he really isn’t a huge fan of nicknames. maybe he’ll call you darling or bear if he’s really tired. yuki doesn’t really have a preference of what you call him.

muku - muku loves using nicknames. all of his favorite shoujo manga characters use nicknames so he definitely does. he really likes princess, peaches, angel, and sweetheart. using anything on him makes him a huge mess. just calling him mu will make him blush.

misumi - oh boy, he’s going to call you any name with triangle in it he can. he’ll call you, my triangle, my favorite triangle, the best triangle, or just triangle. the most normal one he’ll call you is baby. if you call him your favorite triangle he’ll be very happy, but honestly giving him any nickname will make him an overly happy puppy.

kazunari - this boy is for sure gonna call you babe, baby, bae, boo, queen, sunshine, hot-stuff, gorgeous, etc. basically, anything you can think of, he’s probably called you it at some point. kazu is down for being called anything, he particularly likes bae though.

banri - he’s another one who likes to call you babe, hot-stuff, or sexy. he would jokingly say he’d like to be called daddy, but he’d actually end up liking it.

juza - definitely any sweets related name he’s going to call you. if you’ve got a favorite candy he’ll call you that. otherwise honey, sweetie, sugar. calling him anything will make him a mess.

taichi - he’ll like to call you cutie for the most part. you can also retaliate in calling him a cutie and he’ll be as red as his hair.

omi - babe, darling, love, he definitely loves more romantic nicknames. omi is pretty happy with being called anything, but if you want him to blush, call him daddy.

sakyo - the only nickname he’ll call you is love, and even that is one very rare occasions. otherwise is probably strictly calling you idiot or dumbass. most nicknames you call him will just earn you a small smile and an eye roll.

tsumugi - definitely flower related nicknames, rose, lily, or just flower works for him. he also likes calling you darling or love. tsumugi likes being called tsumi or tsumu. a lot of other nicknames make him smile shyly and blush.

tasuku - he is not good with coming up with nicknames. if you want to be called something you have to tell him. he might call you snowflake without you telling him though. he doesn’t really care for nicknames, but if you call him one, he might have a odd look on his face.

hisoka - definitely calls you marshmallow, kitten, or kitty. he might call you snuggles too. he doesn’t really mind if you use nicknames, he does like being called hiso or mika (as in mikage) but he really doesn’t have much of a reaction to them.

homare - my rose, mon amour, darling, my inspiration are all names he likes to call you. he doesn’t really what you call him, but if you call him minou he likes that because it’s french

azuma - he calls you darling, sugar, or angel. it really doesn’t matter what you call him. he unironically likes being called daddy though

As a person part of the short person gang (im 160 cm) literally, everybody towers over me, so technically everybody is the tallboy squad compared to us short people, but the tallest are literal TREES compared to me

Muku just kept talking to him about a shoujo manga he read and showed Juza a scene where a guy kabedoned a girl

Muku really did go “hey what if you did that to Y/N???”

But Juza did end up learning the scene tho- saying something romantic and then pining you up against the wall you're closest to

it went pretty good although he did fumble like a little dummy

This boy did it on accident, he literally just tripped

He really do be clumsy in the kitchen, just tripping and pinning you against the fridge

Muku - Muku is bad about staying up late reading manga, and MC knows it. They try their best to get the little prince to bed on time but sometimes it doesn't work. Usually reading Muku stories at night helps him fall asleep.

Hanasaki High Students + Caring!MC

Sakuya - Super flustered whenever they ruffle his hair while sending him off to school. Blushes at the cute "have a good day!" notes on his bag. Sakuya also gets flowers for MC on Mother's/Father's Day.

Masumi - Loves it. Eats up every bit of affection MC throws his way; along with asking for me. He went so far to even ask for a kiss one morning, but Omi heavily rejected that idea.

Banri - Absolutely hates it. He'll brush them off constantly and scowls when he finds notes in his lunch. Relents whenever he is tucked in by them one night after passing out on the couch.

Ouka High Students + Caring!MC

Juza - Very awkward. He's not really used to much affection, especially in such a doting way, so he'll kind of stammer and stutter at first. Juza gets used to it though.

Taichi - Really appreciates the homework help. With Tsumugi, Itaru, and MC working together, he should be able to get at least a C on his English. Maybe.

Tenma - Embarrassed at first, despite being used to having people flit around him all day at sets and dealing with fans. MC's care is different though, more genuine. Tenma makes sure to do a couple extra chores for them if he can.

A series of short stories based on in-game card quotes. I just randomly found out about this, which led me to imagine scenarios with them. ☺

Starting out with Mr. Juza Hyodo since he's my husbando. 💜

You were floating in a tube, playing within the shallow waters near the beach with everyone from Mankai, except a selected few who refused to leave the parasols in fear of the UV rays.

Muku and Kumon had been teaching you how to swim, though one could argue the pool might be a safer venue.

But, you insisted since you wanted to at least plunge into the cool water and play games with the rest.

Little did you know, Juza had been eyeing the group from the beach.

His head eventually got hit by the beachball (arguably on purpose) from Banri's smash.

Banri laughed his heart out, teasing Juza who was obviously distracted. "That's what ya get from not keeping your head in the game, Hyodo." His laughter almost echoed throughout the beach. Even you glanced back to their direction at the sheer loudness of the ruckus.

"Settsu, you-" As always, Omi stopped the boys from fighting before Sakyo would step in and confiscate the beachball in the aftermath.

Whilst putting pressure on the bump, Juza still directed all his attention on the striped tube, floating nearby. Rather, he was focusing on you.

With each wave crashing in, his chest tightened and heart beat faster. Should he drag you to the safety of the beach? But you looked like you were having fun. His mind was conflicted, and his furrowed eyebrows intrigued Omi who followed his gaze and figured out the focus of his attention.

"They'll be fine." Omi commented, almost scaring the poor purple-haired lad. "They're swimming together with Kumon and Muku, right? I think they're close enough for us to catch them in case they're in trouble, so don't worry, Juza."

Yet, Juza couldn't avert his eyes from you as he was filled with the fear of losing you, the light in his life whose presence shined as bright as Kumon and Muku for God knows since when.

As the sun started to set, Sakyo called everyone to pack up so they could reach back in time before dinner.

Setting foot back on land, you rolled the tube for the fun of it, chatting with Muku and Kumon about the next time everyone could hang out at the beach.

Laughing at Kumon's joke, you let go of the tube which ended up rolling away at lightning speed.

As you dashed towards it, Juza had already approached you, holding the tube.

"Thank you, Juza-san!" You beamed in gratitude, reaching out your hands to grab the tube.

He was confused at first, not knowing whether you wanted to hug him or the tube. He figured the latter and handed the tube over to you while patting your head.

You were familiar with the gesture since you witnessed him patting Kumon numerous times. But, it was the first time Juza did that to you.

Confused, you glanced up to look him in the eye. Flustered at your sudden gaze, he looked away, muttering under his breath. "...Don't go out of my sight next time."

"Eh, why?" Your naivety baffled him. Were you not aware of the dangers of swimming in the ocean? He knew you couldn't swim after all.

Without a second thought, he responded, "Don't want ya to get hurt... I can't protect ya if I can't see."

You let out a small giggle. "Is it because I can't swim?"

Juza couldn't help his ears from reddening on its tips and his cheeks from blushing. There's a certain ring to your voice that he can't get enough of, not that he'll ever admit or tell you about it.

"Juza-san, if that's the case, I guess I'll have to keep in mind to always be near you." Hugging the tube to keep it from falling, you continued, "I'll be in your care, Juza-san."

With your smile etched in his mind, Juza didn't need any more motivation; you'll always be under his protection and he can keep that smile of yours all to himself. 💜

- So when he saw the massive gap in personality you ended up having, he was shocked (will refer to it as a gap moe he’s a weeb before a man).

summary: in which both taichi and the reader are oblivious dumbasses pining for each other. 

“It’s so unfaiiiiiiiiiiir!”

Taichi whined for the tenth time within the past ten minutes. You’d started idly counting as you listened to him rant on about how his popularity. It wasn’t a new speech to you – God knows how many times you’d heard the same thing over and over again since you’d befriended the puppy.

This time, he seemed to be genuinely upset, even comparing himself to others in the theatre like Tenma, who he’d witnessed be confessed to four times within a school day – when it wasn’t even Valentine’s, he kept stressing to you, only something like that happens in Muku’s shoujo manga!

“I thought after MANKAI got a good rep, I’d be popular too!”

He began to roll around on your bed in anguish again – he’d roll around for a short period of time, then stop to complain some more – you had come to learn that the kid was hilariously terrible at multitasking – then roll again until he reached your spot on the floor. You sat with your back against the bed, and occasionally you would see Taichi’s arm reach over your shoulder to grab a potato chip to stuff in his mouth. Then he would roll again whilst chewing aggressively. At one point you had to interrupt his rant,

“I swear to God, if you get even a crumb on my bed, I’ll end you.”

But for the most part, you were just listening and nodding along to his monologue.

“Seriously, why am I not super popular yet?! I haven’t even gotten a girlfriend!” He flopped back onto your pillow, an arm covering his eyes. “Y’know what, even guys! Anyone! I don’t care! There’s not a SINGLE person interested in me!”

“Maybe there are people interested in you, but they’re too shy to say.” You comment, from your place on the floor. Adding wordlessly to your reply, or that you’re too oblivious to ever notice when someone has a crush on you.

So maybe, just maybe, you had a small crush on Taichi. Just a tiny one. The teeniest crush you could fathom. It’s not like you fought off people to get front-row seats at every Autumn Troupe play, or that you felt yourself melting whenever he finds you waiting for him backstage and gives you the brightest smile imaginable –

Okay, so maybe, just maybe it developed into a massive crush where your heart thudded painfully in your chest whenever he showed any small sign of affection towards you, his best friend.

It’s not like you were being subtle about liking him – you were sure every person in the theatre knew about your crush on him, minus Taichi himself. Banri had even offered to tell Taichi about your feelings himself, since you “seemed to be too much of a coward to do it yourself.”

Taichi sat up bolt-right in his bed, swivelling his head over to you. His eyes were wide as he stared back at you.

“R- Really?!” His cheeks flushing at the thought, “Being shy is cute! They’re probably intimidated because I’m getting so manly, hehe! I knew taking notes from the Autumn Troupe members was a good idea!”

But no, you were no coward. And you were going to prove it to him, and yourself. You still hadn’t forgiven him for that remark either, but you’ll get him back another day. He better sleep with one eye opened the next time you stay at the MANKAI dorm.  

“I wish they’d show themselves, if that was the case…” You pushed a hand through your hair, your gaze shifting from him and taking a sudden interest in the packet of potato chips in front of you.

“Maybe…” you swallowed. “Maybe there’s one of them in here. Right now.” There was a long silence, and you stood, wanting to leave the room as soon as possible as that had taken up all your courage. Risking a peek at Taichi to see his reaction – the boy in question was staring up at you in awe, a slight blush staining his cheeks. Your eyes met his and he seemed to snap out of it, jumping up out of the bed to clutch your hands.

“Woah! Th- That was a crazy smooth line! Have you been practicing?! Could you teach me how to sound that cool?”

Your heart was hammering in your chest. It felt like it was about to take off, and a small part of you wondered if he could hear it. There was a small silence, and his smile faded away. “Are you okay?”

“Y- Yeah! Aha. Ahahaha, yep, I’ve been practicing!” you attempted to laugh it off, sitting down on the bed.

“Wow, it was so convincing, too! You’re amazing!” There it was. The thing that gave your heart so much trouble. That smile. That damned smile.

“Ahaha… thank… you.” Could your cheeks stop themselves from becoming balls of flame? You were almost begging your blush to fade as you continued. “Why… Why do you wanna learn a line like that anyway? Is there someone you want to use it on? Someone you’re… interested in?”

Taichi yelped, his hands raising immediately in defence. “N- No! O- O- Of course there isn’t! Who would there p- possibly be?!”

You raised an eyebrow, and he continued rambling as his face turned as red as his hair.

“C’mon, would I not tell you if there was someone I liked? Of course I would! You’re just imagining things! Buzz. Oh, what’s that? I think… Buzzbuzz. I think my phone’s ringing!”

“You’re literally making the noises yourself—”

“No I’m not! Buzzbuzzbuzz- briiiiing. Yeah, see, there it is again! I really have to take that so… I’ll be right back!” His voice had gotten higher pitched as he spoke on, and it looked like his head would’ve exploded if he didn’t dash out of the room when he did.

After leaving the room. Taichi pressed a hand against his heaving chest, feeling his heart pounding against it. His mind racing about what you’d said before he’d embarrassed himself. There was no way you could be serious about liking him. …Could you? No, it was more likely you found out about his all-too-obvious crush on you. Banri had kept making comments about how he’d seemed even more like a puppy around you, and the phrase ‘puppy love’ had been used too often in the dorm.

He couldn’t think straight, but he barely could when he was around you. For now, there were too many questions piling up in his mind that couldn’t be answered.

Mankai watching Anime with S/O

Let’s see! Well, I genuinely think none of them would turn down you asking them to watch anime together but as you said, some of them strike me to have different approaches, hence, this classification:

First, you would have the ‘hard-core’ group. I feel like they would get really invested while watching almost any type of anime, having even posters and/or small toys of their favorite characters, so they would for sure watch it with you! Maybe even prepare a date-like marathon of some series you both liked or meeting to see the new ones that air. Add some chips, drinks and they are even more excited than you!

Here you would find:

Citron- No further questions needed, he loves it and needs more space for all the cute merchandising he has (where did he found the money for them, you don’t want to ask)

Taichi- He has the time of his life watching with you! You both are usually commenting on everything that happens in the episode. Sometimes even trying things to see how they would turn in real life.

Itaru- Okay, all the games that turn into anime? He’s seen some even BEFORE you. You got angry but he watched the together with you again.

Kazunari- Insert one hell of an amount of fanarts here. He sometimes asks if you even would want to go to the comicons together.

Homare- He would never say no to being exposed to anything art related (even more if you suggested it!) turns into big critic-review mode whenever you two end a series or specific episode.

Banri- Here comes the known-it-all. You end up bickering about which turn is too decided what to watch, however, that’s just because he loves teasing you. He’s usually fine with anything you put.

 Then follows the ‘Daily watchers’ group. I think they very enjoy watching it but even more if you asked them to do it together (more time to be with you!) They sometimes miss things so they are grateful you fill them in with information. Sometimes, they even suggest staying in the dorm to keep up with the new season of anime starting, usually having somewhat of a preference for genres but allowing you to educate them around others.

We would have the following:

Sakuya- He’s pretty chill with whatever you end up choosing to want, enjoying them all wholeheartedly. Whenever someone in class mentions a new anime he runs to talk to you about it excited of how you would react and starts planning when to watch it.

Misumi- He’s delighted whenever you tell him you found an anime he might like. Hugs you from behind and hums as you both watch that series. Also, competition to see how many triangles you find in an episode at least once per series.

Muku- You and Muku could be the expert couple regarding shojo anime. Gushing and enjoying time watching it allow you to relax each other’s company. Friendly discussion whenever you two don’t agree with the main pairing.

Hisoka- To your surprise, Hisoka gets engaged rather easily in whatever anime you decided to watch, leaning on your lap or shoulder.

Tenma- He was a bit skeptical first, but he’s starting to become closer to the ‘hardcore!’ group as time passes. Whenever he’s out working, he calls you and you both watch it in a conference call.

Tsumugi- His students usually give him tips when he mentions an anime you might like to watch. He comes home and you two discuss to watch after dinner

Yuki- He tends to look at how the character dresses but ends up getting absorbed in the dynamic of the episode even more than you “I thought you didn’t appreciate why the lied to their families” “Changed my mind, now shush”

Tsuzuru- In a huge family like his, he’s super familiar with many animes and references so he would gladly accept watching both old and new ones. They also help him a lot to get new ideas for the plays so it killing two birds with one stone

 Finally, we have the ‘Casual but curious!’ group. I would say they had never had much contact with anime but enjoy it with you because it means cuddling time and because seeing you simply happy watching or reacting makes them smile too. After some time they might even start asking you to put more different genres to watch together.

Here we would find:

Masumi- He accepts mostly because he loves how you rest in his arms as you two watch the TV. However, at some point he starts asking you to go with him to buy that CD from the last anime you watched together. He now has collection.

Azuma- Loves seeing your reactions change so fast as the episodes progress. He would usually prepare some drinks to have and relax watching your favourite series with you.

Omi- Even though his siblings and he himself watched anime when he was younger, he never really kept watching it as he grew up, however, he fully appreciates whenever you start explaining things to him he forgot. He usually prepares some snacks too.

Juza- He relishes any time he has with you, doesn’t matter what you two are doing. Most of the time you two usually get together and enjoy watching episodes after he finishes acting practices or if you both don’t have anything after school.

Tasuku- Not a problem if you ask for an inside-date bingeing anime. Sometimes he frowns at whatever is going on as he gets lost a lot though “Did that person start glowing up in the middle of the basket court?” “Yep”

Sakyo- Surprisingly ok although it wasn’t in his plans, he always follows the story of whatever anime you guys are watching with a rather critical eye and you find it hilarious. He blushes when he notices it.

“I don’t know what I’m doing.”

At his roommate’s nth sigh of the night, Tsumugi’s worry over the well-being of his childhood friend wins out over his understanding of Tasuku’s right to privacy, and he pauses from correcting one of his student’s papers to look over at a noticeably distraught Tasuku.

“Err… Tachan?” Tsumugi calls out warily.

“…Hm?

“Is everything alright?”

Tsumugi can hear Tasuku shift in his bed, still lying down but now facing him. “What makes you say that?”

At Tasuku’s flat tone, Tsumugi flinches, knowing that he’s in for something heavy. ‘Well, best to get it over with now than later.’

“Well, it’s just that I’ve noticed you’ve been acting a bit… strange lately.” Tsumugi takes Tasuku’s silence as a cue to continue. “You haven’t been going out on your evening runs for the past few days. Most of the time you’re just up in your bed glaring a hole into the ceiling. You know that you can tell me about what’s troubling you, right? I won’t judge – I swear on my psychology degree.”

Tasuku sighs again but remains silent. Just when Tsumugi is ready to let Tasuku deal with his dilemma on his own, Tasuku murmurs out loud but almost too low for Tsumugi to hear, “Nothing gets past you, huh? Or am I just that obvious?”

“Ahaha… It’s probably because we’ve known each other for so long.”

Tasuku nods in agreement. “You’re probably right.”

“So are you ready to air it out now?”

“Yeah… Say, you’ve been in a long-term relationship before, right? For around...what, a year?”

“H-hold on!” Tsumugi stutters, waving his hands around, flustered. “I thought we were talking about your situation.”

“Just – just hear me out, alright?!” Tasuku sputters back, a faint blush on his face. “This isn’t easy for me to talk about either.”

Tsumugi takes a few deep breaths to calm himself down. “Right, right… sorry. Yes, I have. But how does that – “

“How do you know that you’re doing enough for your partner?” Tasuku cuts in.

“…Pardon?”

“I just – “ Tasuku pauses, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “Sometimes I wonder if what I’m doing is enough. It’s the first time I’ve ever been so seriously committed to a relationship.”

“So what you’re saying is… you feel like you’re inadequate as a boyfriend?” Tsumugi says slowly, tentatively, careful not to agitate his roommate any further.

“I guess, yeah. I just feel like they deserve more from me…but I’m not sure how to convey how dedicated I am to them.”

“Tasuku, one of the most important elements of a relationship is communication.” Tsumugi chides lightly. “If you’d just talk – “

“You said you’d listen, not give out advice like you’re my counselor or something.” Tasuku cuts him off with a sharp look.

Tsumugi chuckles lightly. “Alright, alright.” He acquiesces, hands raised in a placating gesture. “But for what it’s worth, I think that the mere fact that you’re fussing over something like this already says a lot about how you feel and your dedication towards them.”

Tasuku grunts a noncommittal noise in response, turning in his bed to focus on the ceiling once more.

“…Thanks for listening, Tsumu.”

“Anytime, Tachan.”

After his talk with Tsumugi, Tasuku found himself better able to focus on practice that week. When the weekend came, however, he still had no idea how to go about “being a better boyfriend”, as Tsumugi had put it. That afternoon, Tasuku was resting on the couch in the living room, watching a soccer game on TV when Kazunari and Muku came over and plopped themselves down on either of his sides.

“Good morning. Wanna watch the game with me?”

“A-actually, Tasuku, we’re here to see how we can help you.” Muku says.

“Help me?” Tasuku’s brow furrows, not liking where this conversation was going. “With what?”

“Don’t worry, man!” Kazunari exclaims, throwing an arm around Tasuku’s shoulders. “Tsumu-tsumu told us all about it! We got you covered!”

Muku nods in agreement. “N-not that I think you’d need much help from someone so lowly and inexperienced like me. I mean, you’re already so prince-like, but if my shojo manga and I can help then Kazu and I will try our best.”

Tasuku rubs his temples, willing for their conversation to make sense. ‘I feel a headache coming on…’

“Hold on, hold on… What exactly did Tsumugi tell you?”

Muku’s face flushes as if he suddenly realizes that what they were doing probably wasn’t that considerate of Tasuku’s personal life. Kazunari, however, had no such qualms.

“About your love problems, of course! We’re gonna help you take your relationship to the next level! Oh yeah!” Kazunari crows, holding his hand up for a high five which Muku hesitantly returns.

“And where is Tsumugi now?”

“Tsumugi’s out tutoring.” Itaru says as he strolls into the room, Citron in tow.

Tasuku drags a hand down his face in frustration at the Spring Troupe members’ appearance. “Not you guys, too.”

Itaru lazily shrugs a shoulder in response. “When Citron heard, he wrangled me into joining. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to help out a troupe member while waiting for my SP to refill.”

“Wait, I didn’t ask for – “

“Wah, what’s going on here?” Taichi comes barreling in with Banri. “I heard y’all talking about romance and Tasuku? That’s a surprise.”

Even Banri seems intrigued by the unlikely topic. “Yeah, what’s up?”

“Fufufu~ No need to worry, Tasuku. Let us help.” Azuma suddenly pipes up, appearing with Homare.

Tasuku whips his head around to face them. “Where are you all coming from?!”

“Come, Tasuku! Allow us all to offer our advice in your endeavor of love!” Homare singsongs.

As his troupe members surround him, each giving their own pieces of (unsolicited) advice, Tasuku only has one thought in his mind.

‘Tsumugi is dead when he gets back.’

Later that week after trying out the troupes suggestions of doing the kabedon (Muku & Kazunari), acting princely and literally sweeping his partner off their feet (Itaru & Citron), and showering them in gifts and overly showy affection (Taichi & Banri), Tasuku decided to end the week with Azuma and Homare’s idea – a fancy dinner topped off with a poem dedicated to his partner.

“I am yours.” Tasuku says, taking your hands in his. “I am yours as the stars belong to the sky – as yours as the rivers belong to the sea. I – “

Tasuku suddenly falters, lost in the softness of your gaze.

“I – your eyes. I am your tears – “ he stops himself, visibly frustrated. “Shit.” His head shoots up suddenly, eyes wide in panic. “Wait, no, this wasn’t how it was supposed to go. Let me try that again – “

“What’s up with you this week?” you cut him off, confused.

The grip Tasuku has on your hands loosens, and he looks sheepish. “Ha…I really am that obvious, aren’t I?”

You squeeze his hands in return. “Come on, I know you – even when you’re acting.”

“But this wasn’t meant to be an act.”

“What do you mean?”

“I-I wanted to be a better man for you,” Tasuku says with conviction, passion burning in his eyes as he stares into yours. “Truth is, I’ve never done this before. I’ve never been this serious and committed to a relationship like I am to ours, and I want to do this right, but truth is… I don’t know what I’m doing.” He finishes, bowing his head in embarrassment.

“Hey.” You call to him softly. “Look at me. Please.”

Slowly, Tasuku raises his head and you give him a reassuring smile.

“I like you – I love you – just the way you are.”

His face flushes, but he still doesn’t look satisfied. “But you deserve more...I want to give you more.”

“Tasuku, can’t you see?” you look at him, feeling so filled with love and affection that you can only hope that he can understand even just a smidge of your feelings towards him.

“You’re already more than enough.”

sakuya started from nothing and worked hard for everything that was his, never giving up and always persevered against all odds

so it wasn’t a big surprise when the moment sakuya realized you were the person he thought of when reciting his romantic lines, he made it clear he liked you

(luckily, masumi had quick reflexes and caught the script before it fell into the river. sakuya was too busy having the most lovestruck, dreamy smile as he started off into the horizon, saying, “i like them. i really like them.”)

(“about time, you big sap.” masumi handed the packet back, but he looked just as content to see his best friend come to the realization. if only director felt the same way... sigh)

sakuya started being more direct in the most sakuya way possible, initiating planned dates that he just called “hang–outs”

it wasn’t until sakuya asked you to come over at a very specific time to the dorms that you felt like something was going

you wouldn’t find out why until it was operation: ask you out, you got this sakuya! (abbreviated to go sakuya!!! on the labelled binder he had)

he finally asked you out when his heart told him the timing was perfect! sakuya had every tiny detail planned and laid out, presenting it at the very urgent scheduled meeting to his spring troupe members

sakuya was a true leader, he had prevented anything from going wrong and took extreme measures to make sure tonight was perfect

so when you confirmed you would come over soon, sakuya felt his nerves kick in as he launched himself into the living room, ordering everyone to get out (but very politely)

“hi, um. guys? could you leave? for the night?” sakuya shyly requested (he was so impatient though, he wanted to tell you he liked you already! it had to be the best for you!)

confused, everyone halted their afternoon activities as tsuzuru’s big brother instincts made him take over and explain the dilemma at hand, although, not well

(everyone got even more confused, what the hell was tsuzuru talking about? something about the perfect violin music? the 90s disney movie ambience? taking every comforter in the residence for a fort?)

itaru sighed, stepping up to the plate. he wasn’t taking time out of his video game time for nothing

“in other words, sakuya needs to ask someone out before he explodes from his lovey–dovey feelings. he needs the room for his date.”

(citron burst into tears, dramatically sinking to the floor as sakuya hurried over with hugs, genuinely worried for his friend. “sakuya~ you are growing up so fast! you are such a good boy!!!”)

even though he didn’t want to ask for help, the whole company automatically ignored him and went to go assist him in decorating

with a couple of funny comments here and there about why he was going out more and his literal heart eyes

(“oh look at sakusaku in love~” azuma pulled on sakuya’s cheek, everyone gushing over sakuya’s blush and his bright eyes as he thought about you. he was so passionate about you, just like acting!)

but the jokes were reserved for another time because their leader needed their help. it was time to repay back the favors sakuya always did for them, he did deserve a night of just romance!

he deserved the world for being such a good person

the main lights were turned off. twinkling fairy lights were pinned up to the top of the walls. red tablecloth was put over the main table. food was placed on a silver platter sakyo only reserved for very special occassions. proper plating was set up with every type of utensil possible (even a salad fork, there was no salad). the projector was set up behind the sofa. a comfy, elaborate pillow and blanket fort took over the whole sitting area. rose petals decorated the entryway and aromatic candles filled the room with love. tonight was going to be perfect

spring troupe raided the costumes department to quickly make waiter–styled outfits for the night (banri wasn’t allowed to help the moment he held something animal print up). sakuya let taichi clip on his bowtie and yuki check the measurements of his new formal wear. running by, homare dropped a fresh rose into a vase in the middle of the dining table before going into a verse about young love. omi finished up the delicious spaghetti, due to muku giggling about lady & the tramp and sharing a noodle. everyone put in the effort to get the volunteers ready for the biggest act of sakuya’s life

“everyone, three cheers for sakuya and his potential partner tonight!” tsuzuru led the group chant as sakuya stared at himself in the mirror, grinning as he willed himself to take a deep breath. he had this in the bag, tonight was going to be perfect

as sakuya stood in the corridor after the preparations, it felt like he was backstage before a major performance. the butterflies in his stomach were going crazy, he was so excited to see you

food? check! music? check! decorations? check! perfect outfit? check! everyone ready for their cues? check! flowers? che—wait...

before sakuya could have a minor, tiny meltdown over forgetting a very essential part of his plan, tsumugi ran back inside covered in dirt as he gracefully passed a sweet boquet with a light pink ribbon tied around the stems. it was so thoughtful, sakuya almost teared up right then and there

“this one means confessing a crush,” tsumugi said, pointing to the abundance of daisies before taking his leave, whispering good luck on the way out. tasuku waved, sporting a thumbs up

juza held hisoka up with a serious, but supportive nod. tenma winked, enough said

sakuya smiled, he had such good friends!

the common room in the dorms was evacuated as the other spring troupe members were hiding in the kitchen, acting as servers to the very exclusive mankai restaraunt. the clock struck 8pm as kamekichi flew by, closing the curtains in the process just like they discussed

sakuya heard a knock on the front door. that was his cue; sakuya moved to stand by the classy table as he heard itaru’s business voice greet you professionaly. he almost giggled at the confusion in your voice before itaru led you to the kitchen, a shocked look on your face as sakuya pulled your chair out

“you look beautiful.” sakuya honestly admitted, feeling his cheeks flush when you looked away with a smile. sakuya pushed your chair in as he went back to the other side, gently taking your hand as he tapped on the table three times. at the sign, he heard masumi start playing his classical violin in the background

phase 1: get you to sit down (check!)

“thank you, i don’t know what to say!” you stammered, looking around at the transformed scenery as tsuzuru walked in, bowing at you two before placing two menus down. there was really only one thing on the menu, but it was in some fancy cursive font so it was acceptable

“would you like to get started? or should i give you a few minutes?” tsuzuru questioned, having his notepad at ready with a black pen as he followed the script without problems. sakuya watched as you stared at the menu, unaware of what to do next

improv time! sakuya immediately ordered two servings of spaghetti, knowing it was the only thing he had planned with two cups of water (tsuzuru almost broke character when he almost reached a hand out to ruffle sakuya’s hair, pretending to stretch instead)

“certainly, sir. enjoy your time at mankai!” tsuzuru took his leave, going to wait his specific allocated time of 5 minutes before coming back. you looked at sakuya, his face starng back into yours with a fond smile

“thank you for coming—” sakuya started but was cut off by a very loud scream. a very citron–sounding scream. following the shriek, the sound effect of glass smashing on the floor and the wet slap of noodles was very clear. the violin cut off with an awful note, making you wince as you pulled your hand back

phase 2: eat spaghetti (oh, crap)

silence. then—

“OH MY GOD, CITRON!” tsuzuru yelled, shuffling open the script sakuya handed out. citron began apologizing profusely, not realizing you and sakuya were sitting in disbelief and uncertain about what was going to happen next

“ah, this was not GJ... press f in the chat.” itaru commented monotonously, offering a very sarcastic clap. “shut up!” masumi tried to salvage the situation, but the damage was already done

it wasn’t until you heard a muffled sigh that the boys stopped fighting. sakuya tried hiding his face as he sunk lower in his seat, holding his head in his hands

“i’m... i’m so sorry!” sakuya apologized, trying to form a coherent sentence without his voice cracking from embarrassment. the spring boys felt awful, quickly trying to clean up the mess and turn this date around the right way

but you smiled, standing up to put your hand on his shoulder as he tensed. were you going to leave? this had to be the worst date ever! you were too nice, you were trying to spare his feelings—how embarrassing!

“saku, it’s okay.” you comforted, bending down to look him in the eye. sakuya nodded, wiping his nose as he blinked away his frustrated tears. i must look so immature, sakuya pouted, trying to appear as calm as possible. but inside, he was screaming. how could have this happened so early on? he did everything!

“no, i wanted tonight to be perfect because i wanted to ask—” sakuya felt your hand guide his face to look at yours, your fingers gently holding onto his chin. you smiled

“will you be my boyfriend, saku?” you asked, seeing his face go blank before shooting out of his seat, almost knocking you down as he started jumping up and down

“yes, oh my god, of course!” sakuya composed himself, rubbing the back of his neck as he settled down from your laughter. sakuya instead picked you up, spinning around as he couldn’t help but laugh along with you

“oh my god, do you really like me?!” sakuya couldn’t believe his ears, you liked him even after this whole disaster of a date!

(this would be the start of the best dates ever as long as sakuya was there)

“no one has put so much effort into something for me like this before, you’re one of a kind.” you truthfully said, putting your hands on his face as he lowered you to the ground after losing the adrenaline rush

before you could connect your lips to his, you smelt a floral scent in your face and leaned back to see him panicking with a boquet of daisies

(you would soon learn sakuya was planning something very, very special for the first kiss. it didn’t go wrong, that time)

“uh... this is for you! please accept them!!!” sakuya thrusted the boquet into your hands and the rest of the night was yours to share

(sakuya kicked the spring members out, pushing them out of the door and promising to give them a huge rant later on. it wasn’t much, though, just a “i’m not angry, i’m just disappointed” speech that had no merit since he couldn’t stop smiling)

after that, you accepted sakuya and all of life’s mishaps, disasters, and unfortunate events that seemed to follow him despite his best efforts to do everything right

even though he loved just as much to spoil you rotten by spending quality time together, you always looked forward to getting the upper hand and surprising him thoughtful gifts!

sakuya hated it when you spent money on him, always taking the gift but trailing after you like a lost puppy trying to pay you back

(the kid even tried sneaking in cash when you weren’t looking. sakuya’s acting skills were useful when he pretended like he had no idea where a random $20 came from!)

(he later got excited seeing the same lucky bill on the sidewalk during a park walk, not noticing it was the same exact one he tried giving to you)

once you realized pricey, store–bought presents weren’t the way to go and only made sakuya feel guilty, you resorted to hand–made items that had your name all over it

you hid your initials + S.S. on the inside of the spot right over his heart (sakuya wouldn’t find it until one day, he was about to flip it inside out for laundry and was found cradling the fabric with happy tears sitting at the base of the washer)

daisy - juza is pretty bad with words, he knows how he feels but he just can’t say it in words, so his love language is definitely giving gifts. he may not be able to say things in words, but he does know when he sees something that reminds him of you. if he sees a cute keychain or plush, he’ll get it for you because it reminds him of you. maybe he’ll get you whatever your favorite candy is as long as you share it with him. juza love receiving words of affirmation. all he needs is some praise and he’ll be content. compliment his acting, his appearance, anything and he’ll be very happy.

coriander - he’s never been one to be solely attracted to appearances. don’t get me wrong, he thinks you’re gorgeous, but he really likes your personality. but if he had to pick a physical feature, definitely your smile. if you give him one smile it’ll make his heart flutter and beat fast for the rest of the day.

fennel - juza’s kisses are very sweet literally it’s probably all the sugar he eats he’s never really too passionate, he gets way too flustered. just short and sweet kisses. he loves being kissed on the cheek, give him a kiss on the cheek before he leaves and he’ll have the greatest day.

purple hyacinth - he’d be absolutely devastated, especially if it was something he could’ve prevented. he’d beat himself up for not doing better. he’d probably wouldn’t want sweets anymore, what’s the point if he can’t share them with you?

peony - juza doesn’t really know how to make people blush, so he goes to muku. the answer is one word. kabedon. once he sees you blush, he’ll turn away and hide his face in embarrassment. making him blush is easy, just give him a kiss and he’ll be a mess. or even just a surprise hug and he’ll be red.

red rose - anything where you’re initiating or in charge will turn him on. he’s definitely a bottom. having you in control will make him really flushed. sitting in his lap while kissing will also get him hot and flustered.

sweet pea - he loves cuddles. he won’t admit it, but he absolutely loves snuggles. he likes any position where he can have his arms around you. lay on top of him or next to him and he’s gonna pull you closer.

yellow tulip - he doesn’t like seeing his sweetheart upset. he’ll bring you your favorite candy and he puts his shyness to the side and is going to do whatever he needs to see you smile again. whether that means, giving you snuggles, making walrus tusks with pocky, or even just purposely pissing off banri to get a reaction, he’ll do whatever to make you laugh. and if you’re upset because of something someone did, he’ll bring you candy and be right back. he’s got an ass to kick.

I saw your requests were open and my first reaction was general headcanons of the friendship between the baby line (muku, yuki, kumon and azami)

I only play on the EN server and haven't read ahead so my knowledge of Kumon and Azami is pretty limited. But I love them and wanted to give them a shot anyway! I apologize if they're not the most in-character.

That said, SLEEPOVERS!!

It's Muku who suggests the idea, but Kumon who won't stop talking about it until they make it happen.

They storm Yuki and Tenma's room. (Tenma seeks refuge with Banri for the night, only to regret this choice when he and Juza won't stop bickering and go the heck to sleep.) Kumon very narrowly avoids spilling juice on the rug and Yuki threatens to exile him to the hallway. They decide to host the next one in Muku and Kazunari's room after that.

They do all the classic sleepover stuff like watch movies (Muku picks a cheesy romcom Yuki and Azami gag at, and Kumon predictably picks some pseudo-inspirational sports film), paint each other's nails, and gossip about the other troupes. Muku brings up the topic of crushes which quickly gets shut down as everyone goes red in the face.

Kumon is the first to pass out, sometime during the third film. He slumps against Azami's shoulder and he does not blush he does NOT. Yuki is the last, not because he hadn't been ready to sleep for hours, but because he doesn't trust leaving those hooligans unattended in his dorm. (He also doesn't particularly like the idea of people being able to look at him while he sleeps. Having a roommate took some adjusting.)

They're all a little extra tired at practice the next morning, but if Izumi notices, she doesn't call them out on it.
