#a bit update as it's been a while

Hola folks! And thank you to everyone who keeps tagging me! I hope to return to regular engagement, but my energy levels remain on a low ebb. I might need to be realistic about my ongoing spoon availability. 

But I’m still writing in bits and pieces, even if little has seen the light of day. I’ve got a number of chapters of For All Intents and Purposes waiting in the wings. Hopefully real life will cool off and @erzbethluna and I will soon be posting again!

And I’m working on a fic for @carryon-disability-week. It’s a post-apocalypse, Fallout-inspired AU titled Hope Springs Eternal. The plot is broadly outlined, and chapter one is almost ready for my beta. 

Finally, a new chapter of Those Glowing, Magickal Years went live on Friday and I’ll be posting weekly until Year Two is all up. Then a pause while I finished Year Three and return to a weekly schedule. Rinse and repeat.

“It was the perfect introduction, Basil. You are Natasha Pitch’s son.” Fiona nods her head towards the rest of the room. “[REDACTED].” Yes, that had been the idea. Once, before I even started Watford, my father told me how my mother took the stage at her club debut [REDACTED], and I knew I had to do the same. I wanted to make a statement. I wanted to remind everyone that I am her son and I stood for her legacy.  Which was true, once. Before the bloodlust came. Before the Mage took me under his wing. Before I saw Snow’s power, came to believe in it, and started helping his muddling efforts to find his place in it all.  Now I fear that I’m using my mother as a shield. As a way to hide my treachery.

These are actually some of the earliest pics I did when thinking of the AU, just never finished, but I should post them anyway! The pivotal moment of Jayce finally falling to the Dread's influence and opening the coffer, unleashing it in full.

I always felt like the moment should have been more dramatic and very apocalyptic level feeling of BAD THING happening, but it fell kind of short and was just needing to be wrapped up. Likely bc time and budget again sadly. Anyway, Jayce violently taken over with hardly any will left! 👍

Still a sketch, but I've been updating Vallotash's head design (my Mordy scion aka Mourynn's true identity) since I've been wanting to do it for a while, and to give her more mordy features and to move her horns down to just her nose + fuse them into one so I could keep the vine horns (and I like how they turned out! I wanted the vine horns to match the vines of her tail). I still like her body so I'm not gonna update or change that. I just gotta update the front view refs now.

Hey everyone! this is where the zebra is currently with the design.

It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. I always like to make sure an animal design has official colors underneath any clothing and accessory anyway. I think this will be final! thank you everyone for your feedback!

As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

the goal with my pride animals is to take requests and make people feel happy and seen.. that’s all <:-)
