What Would You Buy From Gap's 90s Re-issue Collection?

Everyone routes for the Gap. We grew up with it in the 90s and remembered when Madonna and Missy Elliot fronted the campaign. Unfortunately in recent years, sporting something from the Gap has become social suicide and we feel bad for the sad khakis that no one is buying. That is until yesterday when they announced a limited edition collection of 90s Re-issue Limited Collection of jeans, khakis, pocket Tees and the iconic Gap logo hoodie we all loved from school days. We know how cute Naomi, Rumer and co all look in the ads but what would exactly would we want from the collection? Lets take a closer look at the clothes and see if we still have the original or if we need the updated version!

One would think buying a grey zip hoodie from the Gap is as easy as finding someone opposing Trump’s policy in NYC but how wrong was I! 2017 Gap has every kind of grey zip hoodie, from logo, to floral to french terry logo and even a sherpa style zip hoodie. Yes, everything but a classic, soft cotton plain grey zip up hoodie. It took a throw back to the 90s to bring back what made us fall in love with Gap in the first place?! C’mon Gap!?! So this is a must buy when it comes back in stock on Feb 7 because who knows when it will come back in stock again if we miss it this time round!

Noami Campbell would make a polyester sack look cool but a white pocket t-shirt really needed Naomi to bring it back to life? Surely there is a plain white pocket T-shirt in the 2017 version of Gap?! Apparently unless you are a boy and under the age of 14, you are out of luck! Gap seems to think us ladies prefer our T-shirts to either have a floral print plastered all over or logo on the front that tells the world we need a nap, coffee, love, to surf, victory or love again but in french?! Why? So yes, it took Naomi in a plain white round neck cotton pocket t-shirt from 1992 for the company to realized they should never have messed with a classic!

The icon leather jacket looks like its belong more to Saint Laurent than Gap and that is a good sign! On Gordon, the jacket seems to fit her all and hits her on the lower waist and paired with a black T-shirt and black jeans, you can say this Gap outfit actually looks cool! I was never that kid that spent more than $40 at Gap so if this is leather jacket is over $40 (which I think it might be), I guess it is time for me to go into a Gap again and see for myself.
