Boohbah is a bizarre brainrot show, but it’s actually more important than you’d think, along with other early 2000s programs.

I have been falling asleep to this weird show, but I picked out some details from it.

It’s a time capsule in television. It marks major transitions in technology in the early 2000s. It aired during the transition from analog to digital. It was shot in widescreen and HD, but mostly broadcasted in SD and 4:3. It's also worth noting that the aesthetic of the show is halfway between Y2K and Frutiger Aero, the latter of which was created in optimism for the future.

The segments with the humans were ASMR before YouTube. For example: There is one where Grandpappa tries to fit a yoga ball through a doorway. Most of them are also shot in nature, such as on the beach or in the plains.

I don't know what blog to ask this but I feel like yall would know. Does anyone have the post thats like, a slideshow called "how to remember the boohbahs names" and every slide goes "this is zumbah. You can remember his name by just remembering it" or some variation. I love that post so much I can't find it
