G5 Mane 6 in my style!

Misty is my fave out of the group but I’m not very fond of her design so I used her mane design from Secrets of Starlight because I think it looks much better on her than her other style does.

I also headcanon Zipp to be gender-fluid and use she/he/they depending on how they’re feeling at the moment.

Unitober 2024 Day 17 "Magic"

Been dealing with several weeks of just bad art days, burnout and some personal stuff that brought on a lot of stress, but I think I’m finally turning a corner on that and feeling a lot more happy with what I’m making <3

I’ve been wanting to draw some g5 characters for a while now, and I thought this would be a great way to decompress after whatever the hell these last two months have been. Not necessarily redesigns more than it’s just me messing around and having fun with stylizing the g5 cast my way!

pipp petals -> perfect pitch!! she is now a dancer and singer (NOT an influencer!!), based off her early concept art! she can't fly well. she's charismatic, extravagant, and very thoughtful.

izzy moonbow -> glitterdust. she's mostly the same, but is genuinely one of the most practical ponies in her friendgroup. her talent is still arts and crafts, but specifically textile crafts!

zipp storm -> zigzag (ziggy)!! her talent is parkour and stunts. she differs from rainbow dash in the way that she is much less outgoing.

hitch trailblazer -> shore. he is NO LONGER A COP!! YAY!!! instead he is the local conservationist and protects the coast!! I think this better fits his role in the show

sunny starscout -> wishing star (wish). I'm making her an explorer like she was originally planned to be instead of a smoothie maker. she's stubborn and doesn't like to rely on others. her talent is making her desires happen through determination!!

misty brightdawn -> misty dawn. I want her to have a different story because I REALLY dislike opaline, but like in the original story she doesn't join the main group for a while. her talent is... she isn't actually sure. she likes foggy morning walks, and that's pretty much all she's sure of.
