remember when I said I was writing a 10-parter showtime fic and then I lied and made everyone think it was only 5 chapters and it was never gonna be updated ever again but then I lied again this time with the truth because now chapter 6 is out?

There's a reasoning attached to the fic about why this story never went past chapter 5, despite chapter 6 being written in advance. Though, please enjoy the read. I hope it being a long chapter makes up for the long absence of update :3

Hey y'all, I'd just like to genuinely thank you all for the supportive messages and the donations. Really, I cannot think of words that would justify how grateful I feel for everyone's help. We're still on the waiting list for the police to investigate the break in, opting to check if there were any CCTVs nearby in order to check the criminals fleeing the scene of the crime.

Other than that, I'm doing much better mentally than yesterday, so I can most definitely write the 2000 followers special again.

I also wanna say how awesome and amazing this community is. I've never been a part of a fandom that pushes my creativity to it's highest, while being supportive and not being at each other's throats because being in the FNAF fandom does things to you. I was pretty popular on the fnaf twitter scene, but it was SO TAXING AND DRAINING that I don't consider it worth going back to.

This is genuinely THE BEST community I've ever had the honors to be a part of (Shipwrecked 64 came very close), and I'm very honored to be at the spot that I am at right now, as creator of the Harlequin AU.

Thank you for supporting me, in my best and worst times. Thank you for being interested in the story I want to tell, and even asking about the world of it as well as it's cast. Thank you for always taking the time to reblog and comment in my works, because I love reading everyone's special inputs.

A very, very special thank yous to all my friends who inspire me to become a better writer and artist, to @thescarletnargacuga who is technically the co-writer for this AU at this point lmfao, to @nobody-nexus for being an amazing and loving partner <3, and to @sm-babie for getting me into showtime, which is the major reason this AU and it's story even exists.

And I know I don't always get to see it because of my incredibly short attention span (and tumblr's weird notification system), but I also would like to thank the other artists who've made fanarts, fanfics or OCs for this AU. There's A LOT of them, that it overwhelms my brain and I'm just- wow. I'm just really taken aback at how much people like this small, incredibly canon-divergent AU. My brain is getting FRIED at all this in the best way possible but woo I need a bit of a breather haha-

I hope I can continue to provide quality Harlequin (and showtime) content, and I hope to keep this train rolling. Keep being awesome, and keep being creative, everyone! The regularly scheduled content will be back rolling on track very soon. :')

I HAVE (almost) PERFECTED IT NOW YIPPIEEEEEEEE!!!! AND WITH ONE MINUTE TO SPARE

it only took like, 3 days for me to be able to get used to the speed of the 1-hour challenge lmao, though I doubt that I'm going to be able to keep this consistent, since various AU Pomnis = various designs = varying difficulty in terms of drawing them all in just the span of only an hour

I think this is a sad reality of just how much the mindset of productivity our generation and the ones before us were raised in was so incredibly toxic, but we didn't have much of a clue. We're never allowed to have fun or play video games because it's seen as "unproductive" and won't bring food to the table, you gotta have a "professional" job if you want to make it in life.

Obviously times have changed now, but it's still a little disheartening to see that the only reason why video games are widely accepted nowadays is because we can now EARN from playing them via youtube and thanks to the let's player's help. Obviously, more power to the people who can monetize their hobbies, I'm also one of those people-

But the point I'm trying to put out here is the fact that we're all so wired to think that everything we do MUST be completely productive and earns money, that simple things such as eating while lounging back and watching TV, taking a nap or even playing video games as a past time is considered "being lazy" and it feels like we have to constantly watch our backs and do these things in secret like it's some kind of forbidden ritual, away from judging eyes.

None of us know how to relax, and if someone does, they're shamed for it. Put up as an example of "don't be like this person". I honestly hope one day, the world learns to move away from this toxic mindset.

Sorry for the yapping just felt the need to put my two cents out there

I fucking loved the Alice in Wonderland 2010 movie and I keep being reminded by it whenever I see @endomentendo's wonderland AU, so I redrew one of my favorite scenes from that movie with their Mad Chatter and Cheshire Jax. lol

I love how I'm known as "the Harlequin AU creator" like yeah, that's my official title now

Like hi yes I'm the dumbass who took one good look at these two and thought "you know what would be awesome. if they were robots in an 1800's sci-fantasy world and were super hot spouse material"

When I was young, I had a very strong curiosity. When me and my late grandfather (may he NOT rest in peace for the trauma he put me through) arrived at my mom's now defunct small roadside store, he left the motorcycle on while he talked to mom. Me, the ever so curious child, wondered, "what would happen if I were to use the throttle like the cool dudes do??"

This is an artistic recreation of the whole scene

It goes as well as you expected. And now, I have a burn scar on my stomach after the motorcycle stopped accelerating and knocked over to the left out of balance, causing the skin of my stomach to become singed from the heated exhaust.

My mom and I had different memories of what had transpired: What I remember was that the motorcycle never accelerated forward, and only got knocked over from the shift in balance.

My mom tells me that the motorcycle accelerated a few feet forward due to how much I gripped the throttle, before coming to a stop and then getting knocked over from the shift in balance.

I think my mom's story is right, and because of the shock of the moment and just how fast that moment was compared to my feeble little brainlet, my brain chose to block out the memory of the motorcycle speeding entirely hence why I can't remember it happening.

I still have the scar on my stomach, I have no idea if it'll ever fade away completely, or if it'll stay with me till the rest of my days. Hoping it's the latter, cuz scars are cool and I could tell my sibling's grandchildren I battled a roaring metal beast when I was but a wee lass 👍

DAY 3 - FREAKSHOW by @hootbon

I wasn't able to pull through and finish in the span of an hour, but I'm overall still very proud of this because I was able to apply some overlays early on that enhances the colors of the full piece, which is something I can expand on more for the next day

That didn't mean I didn't run into some trouble, since the frills of the tutu was not in my realm of expertise, resulting in a pretty wonky looking tutu

Still a learning curve, but it's a direct improvement from how I approached the previous day nonetheless. Who would've thought handicapping yourself via 1-hour challenges would lead to hardships and constraints, oh boy!

I would also like to take the opportunity to say just how great this fandom has been.
