I'm really happy they used the style of the LA remake for the upcoming game. I've always preferred that style of Zelda game, plus it's so cute to look at. The fact they're making Zelda mechanically different from Link is also sweet in my opinion, allowing her to be her own type of hero.

Me too!

Now I'm someone who never wanted a Zelda led game. However, I love that not only is she not just Link but reskinnned, but making her in a cute, smaller game was genius.

I will be getting this day one and any adorable amiibo!

Heehee, I'm so excited for real dungeons again!

#legend of zelda #loz #twilight princess #loz tp #i'm still reeling that someone sent me an ask about this one.. that they took the time to find my tumblr and tell me they liked it #it really meant a lot; thank you to anyone that stops to leave comments like that. they make me happy #but yeah! here's the usual symbolism ramble:#i thought it'd be cool to have the 'spirits' flowing one way and the cats walking through them the other way #to kinda show the difference in life inhabiting the village in the past and present #link's face is covered because impaz was just waiting for 'the hero' so his clothes are what matters; not his face #and it (hopefully) gives a surreal and intangible sense to 'the hero' she could only hope would actually show up #you can feel free to interpret the glowy blue sheikah as ghosts or just as memories of the past! i couldn't decide either way #the one on the bottom left is oot impa since she's implied to be the village founder. so i guess she would be a ghost actually?#fan art #my art #project stuff #and ahhh the book-- everyone's stuff is so beautiful!!#especially the writing. some of the fics made me really tear up and some were so fun and clever. i really love them #a lot of them captured the sheer burden of the role of the sheikah; all of the time and grief and doubt #i know i always say this stuff about every project but. the people i get to work with in these are truly so skilled every time

3. Favourite and least favourite companion?

I haven't played SkSw so I won't say Fi. Of the games I've played Navi is definitely the most irritating but I don't find her that bad.

I love Ezlo. He's a bitchy old gay who got turned into a hat and no one can tell me otherwise.

5. Favourite and least favourite boss fight?

Least favourite: puppet ganon in WW (specifically phase 3. Holy CRAP I think I nearly had an aneurysm trying to kill that fucking worm)

Honourable mention goes to Vaati. I think I spent about a week straight just on that boss fight. But coming back to it again, I really liked how challenging it was and the satisfaction of beating it.

Favourite: This is hard to choose! I really like clever bosses that force you to creatively use items. I think maybe Mazaal from MC, but I also do appreciate all the blights in BotW.

6. Most overrated and underrated game?

Minish cap is criminally underrated and I will shout that to the high heavens.

For overrated, ugh this is hard. Maybe Majora's Mask just because I've never gotten through it (I always get annoyed within a few cycles and give up RIP)
