💌God AU!Yukyo Oneshot💌 Dear Reader... Yugo sighs as he stepped into Ukyo's “humble abode”, which was really just a cave deep within one of Yugo's favourite forests. "Hello, Ukyo. How are you? I brought you the finest tea, brewed from the leaves growing on my hair." he says calmly, passing a cup to Ukyo. The cloaked bluenette smiles softly. "Thank you, Yugo. This tea is exquisite," Ukyo says softly, sipping slowly from his cup. Yugo can't help but grin. Making Ukyo smile was his favourite thing to do. After all, his smile brightened the God of Nature's day almost immediately. "So, as the God of Secrets, you keep both gods and humans' secrets, right?" Yugo inquires, his smile widening when Ukyo nods quietly. "Then, I believe I can trust you with mine." Yugo leans in closer to Ukyo so that there's barely any space between the two, their noses practically touching as Yugo whispers, "I love you." With that, Yugo presses his lips onto Ukyo's, gentle enough to not scare or hurt the bluenette, but enough to convey the immense love he has for Ukyo. The bluenette melts into the kiss, enjoying the taste of wildberries on Yugo's lips. "You taste like tea," Yugo teases when the two gods pull away, both blushing slightly from the short yet sweet kiss they just shared. Ukyo's face reddens further at Yugo's tease, but he tries to play it cool. Yugo sighs again, this time contentedly as he pecks Ukyo's forehead. "You're so cute..." he mumbles, causing poor Ukyo to grow even more flustered. After a few seconds, Ukyo finally calms down, speaking. "Wanna know my secret?" he asks Yugo, his voice barely above a whisper. Yugo nods eagerly, earning a chuckle from the God of Secrets. "I only picked to live in this cave because I know it's located in your favourite forest."

Akira grinned as he watched Ukyo and Yugo share a sweet kiss from afar. As the God of Love, he'd taken it upon himself to help all his other god friends find love. Zac, who was visiting the pinkette since it was time for a solar eclipse anyways, chuckled at how overjoyed the God of Love was. "Don't you think Ukyo and Yugo are so cute together? Don't lie, I know you see their chemistry too!! They're adorable!" Akira exclaimed, overflowing with excitement. Zac laughed softly, ruffling Akira's hair. "You're right, they are cute together! Keep up the good work!" he replies, praising the boy before checking his watch. "Ah, looks like the solar eclipse is ending soon. Till next time, Starlight!" With that, Zac disappears into a large burst of light, presumably off to continue carrying out his godly duties and keeping the Sun burning bright. Akira blushes lightly as Zac praises him and ruffles his hair, but he doesn't get a chance to respond as Zac leaves. He sighs dreamily, patting his head where Zac ruffled it as he stared into space with a dazed expression, Zac's nickname for him repeating in his mind on an endless loop. Gods, he was so in love with the flashy blonde.

My character design enjoyer side avidly enjoyed my favs' designs from this au. Their colours and concepts are genuinely devine.

I started with Blindt, then Rurikawa and then the list increasing to 5 more with every design and character I wanted to draw, which I can't complete right now.

Just an example of why I'm late for deadlines, my goals aren't fixed lol, it keeps expanding inbetween the process.

(Someone had asked for a Beyblade character that I’d already done, so I’m going to go through and add them to my master post.)

Zac: God of the Sun!

As God of the Sun, he is very bright and cheerful but also very vain. He always tries to make sure his appearance outshines the other gods.

His role is making sure that the Sun keeps burning bright, and to make sure that the planets keep orbiting around him. He cannot control the rotation of the planets, however. On Earth at least, he leaves that job to two other gods.

The Hizashi Brothers!

Hyuga is the God of Dawn. Since he represents the time of day that is full of promise and hope, he is very happy and bombastic.

His role is making sure that each side of the Earth receives a full morning from Zac. He keeps the Earth spinning for half the day, then hands it off to his brother, Hikaru.

Hikaru is the God of Dusk. Since he represents the time of day when everything is winding down and cheeriness starts to fade, he is much more somber and serious than his brother.

His role is making sure that each side of the Earth receives a proper closing of the day. He takes over from Hyuga and guides the Earth to spin around and face away from Zac.

Since both brothers are gods of the day, neither sleep. Which is good, because providing a full day for everyone on Earth is a tireless process, since the brothers have to provide both a morning and an afternoon to every spot on the planet. They are constantly running around the planet to perform this task. Zac sometimes allows them to rest, though, keeping him in the sky for a longer period of time; those days are called solstices.

They are known separately as the Gods of Dawn and Dusk, but Zac refers to them as "Squires of the Day". It's his pet name for them.

Both brothers wear the other's colors in order to symbolize that neither brother is complete without the other, just like the day is not complete without dawn or dusk.

I don't know, I just think that these three would get along nicely if they ever met in the show.

i adore zac a lot. one of the funniest characters in the series.

not really interesting and more of a complaint but he has the most confusing dub names in burst to me. "kurogane" -> "kaneguro" what the hell was going on in the adk office that day

i wish he came back more. i would have loved to see him come back at like any point in the series. like apparently in the manga they explain nightfell is his brother? but zac isn't mentioned once in that part of the anime if i remember right?

zeus is a really cool theme the beard the avatar has has wizard vibes.

Beyblade character design analysis: Zac Kaneguro

Link to the masterpost. This took a while but life kept getting in the way. But anyways, here's Zac

As always, we're starting from the top. He has long blond hair with red highlights (do they count as highlights?). Burst has several characters with this color scheme but Zac is the first. I can't find any deeper meaning to this other than it looks good visually and the blond hair works with the yellow highlights on his bey. As for looking good visually, Zac cares about how he is perceived by fans, and his design is a reflection of that

He wears a choker with the triangle logo we see a lot in Burst. Even after all these years I still don't know what the logo represents, but it's worn by many bladers. Zac may be seen by many as a performer first, but being a blader is an important part of his identity

The jacket is pretty stylish. It's very realistic in the sense that I could see people wearing this in real life, unlike many other bladers' clothing. The color scheme matches that of Zeus

Fingerless gloves are a blader staple, but they're not as attention-grabbing at a first glance. Zac internally may be as much of a blader as he is an idol, but the world doesn't see it that way. To many fans, he is an idol first, and while he can incorporate blading elements just fine, he doesn't want to overdo it. The following is just my speculation, but I suspect this may be due to Zac not wanting to alienate his main audience who don't care much about blading. "The idol who's a blader on the side" appeals to a wider audience that "the blader who's an idol on the side"

His shirt is white with a yellow stripe. The yellow is there to match his bey, but what about the white? My best guess is that a darker color like black would cause Zac to have an "edgier" look that goes against his public persona. He presents himself to the world as cool, but in a cheery, friendly way. He's cool but his cool is the opposite of Shadow the Hedgehog's cool

He has a red belt with a gold Z on it. I'm pretty sure Wakiya had a similar belt. It's pretty simple, the Z stands for both Zac and Zeus (Burst does this a lot)

The pants and shoes don't really have anything going on. They're stylish, but have nothing of note

The mask doesn't include anything new but I thought I'd include it here because it's a precursor to Red Eye's disguise that couldn't fool the audience because of how bad it was at hiding his identity despite somehow working on the characters

Overall, Zac's look is stylish, but not as extreme as many other characters. He's one of the characters whose sense of fashion translates the best to real life because most people, in-universe, are Zac fans for reasons unrelated to blading. Thus, he presents himself in a more subdued manner compared to exaggerated styles associated with bladers, even if there are still traces of that with Zac
