It is SO disorienting as an American to hear people say "z" as "zed" the whole movie

 FLUFF:  fluff fills that sad empty space in my soul! hurt without comfort gets old fast and sometimes you just need you & your characters to feel good! I can't do all fluff all the time though, I don't find it terribly compelling. I thrive on writing conflict. fluff is like tasty dessert after the difficult stuff. 

 ANGST:  there is a reason I am drawn to inherently angsty characters sldkfjd I live for angst!! I am an emo kid what can I say. tragedy is my favorite genre. that said, I am ultimately a slut for angst with a happy ending, or at least with catharsis. pointless hardship ad nauseam can get exhausting.  

 SMUT:  I don't tend to write straight up smut cause I find it can get boring fast; there's only so many ways you can describe it all before it gets repetitive. I do love to explore everything around it, though; I especially love exploring tension & finding the moments where characters finally break it.

Does any of this surprise you?

Yes!!!! The ships do especially! I thought pretty much all I write is pairings, I almost never do a fic that doesn't have some kind of pairing, so I was expecting a much higher number! But now that I think about it, it makes sense. I write for a lot of pairings within one fandom, multiple pairings at a time, poly pairings, so it makes sense that one pairing doesn't take the cake. As I update In the Snowfields, I'm sure it'll easily surpass DiaLuci. It's just such a shame that I'm not that into Obey Me anymore, I put in so much work to that fandom and this is where i am now. Oh well!
