“Walk on” otvara album naizgled poletno, iako se bavi teškom temom nerazumevanja, krivotvorenja i ignorisanja umetnikove poruke.
„Well, I hear that Laurel Canyon is full of famous stars, But I hate them worse than lepers and I'll kill them in their cars.“
“Good times are comin', I hear it everywhere I go. Good times are comin', but they sure comin' slow.”
Ova šarada je samo uvod u naslovnu baladu “On The Beach” gde je alijenacija dovedena do specifične kulminacije.
“And there ain't nothin' like a friend Who can tell you you're just pissin' in the wind.”
“I never knew a man could tell so many lies. He had a different story for every set of eyes. How can he remember who he's talking to? Cause I know it ain't me, and hope it isn't you.”

Zashchitnic: An Black Widow Fanfic

Buy me a ☕
Character Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x F!Reader
Word Count: 1128
Warnings: Parenting Fluff, I don’t speak Russian
Synopsis: You and Natasha are brand new parents to a baby girl. Natasha won’t leave your little girl's side for a minute.
Zashchitnic
You walked into the living room to find Natasha asleep on the couch, your infant daughter asleep on her chest. You chuckled quietly to yourself. You had put Ellie into her crib about two hours ago and gone and taken a nap. Either Ellie had woken up and Natasha had gone to get her. Or Natasha had just gone to get her. Somehow you expected the second to be true.
Since you had both brought Ellie home from the hospital 3 days ago, Nat had not left Ellie’s side. She stuck with that baby girl like she was afraid that if she let go for just one second she’d cease to be real.
You took a moment to just watch them sleeping. The slow even rise and fall of Natasha’s chest. Ellie’s tiny hands balled in the fabric of Natasha’s shirt. You smiled and approached them both, brushing Natasha’s fiery red hair from her brow. Leaning down you pressed your lips to her brow, letting them linger against her skin.
Natasha’s eyes snapped open suddenly and one hand wrapped around Ellie protectively while the other swung up, pausing mid-arc. “Shit, sorry. You startled me.” She said as Ellie started to cry.
You took her hand and kissed her fingertips. “I should know better. I’m sorry.” You said. “No harm done.”
Natasha sat up and started to bounce Ellie. “Shh…moyo Zoloto. Mommy has you.”
That familiar ache reached your breasts and you sat down beside Natasha. “She’s hungry. You want to change her and I’ll feed her?”
Natasha smiled at you and got up. “Alright, Zolotse.” She said, continuing to bounce a very unhappy Ellie. She carried her into the bedroom. Right from the start, neither of you had wanted a nursery. You had wanted to be close when she started to cry. The crib was not close enough for Natasha and she would sometimes bring her to bed and you’d sleep with Ellie nestled between the two of you.
Natasha placed the infant on the change table and popped the buttons of the onesie. As she changed the diaper she sang. “Tili-tili-bom, Zakroy glaza skoreye, Kto-to khodit za oknom, stuchitsya v dveri. Tili-tili-bom. Krichit nochnaya ptitsa. On uzhe probralsya v dom. K tem, komu ne spitsya. On idet… On uzhe blizko… Tili-tili-bom. Ty slyshish’, kto-to ryadom? Pritailsya za uglom, I pronzayet vzglyadom. Tili-tili-bom. Vse skroyet noch’ nemaya. Za toboy kradetsya on, vot-vot poymayet. On idet… On uzhe blizko… Tili-tili-bom. Ty slyshish’, kto-to ryadom? Pritailsya za uglom, I pronzayet vzglyadom.“
The song soothed Ellie so soon she just stared up at Natasha making gurgling sounds. By the time the last word was sung, Natasha was fastening the buttons back up. She carried Ellie back out to you. You had settled yourself into the couch, a pillow behind your back and one in your lap. Natasha placed Ellie carefully into your arms and you pulled out your breast and offered it to your daughter.
Natasha sat down beside you and ran her fingertip over Ellie’s arm and down to her hand. Ellie’s tiny fingers closed around hers and Natasha leaned down and kissed the tiny fist.
“Were you singing that creepy song?” You asked, watching her.
Natasha chuckled softly. “It’s not creepy.”
“I mean, maybe not for you. But it’s about a monster breaking into a kid’s house and just lurking in their room. It’s creepy.” You insisted.
“Mmm…” Natasha hummed. “And Rock-a-bye baby’ is perfectly normal.”
You ran your hand through Natasha’s hair and curled a lock around your finger. “Nat…” You said softly.
She looked up at you from her place crouched over your lap. Her green eyes were soft and content. “Mmm…?” She hummed.
“I know Ellie is only 5 days old, but do you think this helicopter thing will last long?” You asked.
Natasha sat back up and leaned against you. “I’m sorry, Moyo solnyshko.” She sighed. “I didn’t expect meeting her would bring up all the things it did.”
You leaned your head against Natasha’s as you ran your thumb over your daughter’s cheek. “So talk to me.”
Natasha sighed again. “You know that I’m sterile.”
“Yes… because of what they did to you.” You answered. It was an issue that had been discussed a lot. Particularly when the two of you had decided you had wanted to have a baby.
“I thought I’d come to terms with it. I kept telling myself I never wanted a baby anyway. Where in the life of a spy did children even fit?” She said, her thumb stroking over the back of Ellie’s hand. “I was married once and I got pregnant. I thought I was stronger than what they did to me. Then I had a miscarriage. I wasn’t strong. I was stupid.”
“Tasha, that isn’t what…”
“I know,” Natasha said, cutting you off. “Logically I know. I don’t like admitting having feelings often, but sometimes what happens in here…” She tapped her head. “Doesn’t match what happens in here.” She tapped her chest. “But I was lying to myself, I did want children. And I hate myself that I did. I’m supposed to be stronger than that. They trained me to be stronger than that.”
“Natasha, you aren’t what they did to you.” You said firmly. It was a phrase that you kept on hand like a mantra. It was used whenever she wouldn’t allow herself to be weak.
“I know. But the thing is; they took it from me. They took the choice. And when I thought I had it back, that was taken from me too.” She said, her voice almost monotone in an attempt to stop her emotions from bubbling over. “Only you gave it back. They couldn’t control me then. And the one thing they did that I thought I would carry forever, you undid it with the simple suggestion that you have our baby. And here she is, and ever since she was born I am terrified they’re going to come and take her from me. That this wasn’t something I was ever supposed to have.”
You turned your head to Natasha and leaned into her, capturing her lips with yours. You kissed slowly and tenderly. You hand going to her hair. When you pulled back, you rested your forehead against hers. “We won’t let them. Do you hear me? She’s ours and they are never going to take her from us.”
“Look at you, Moy zashchitnik. My protector.” She said, rubbing her nose against yours. “You’re right, we won’t.” She took a deep breath in and smiled. “YA ochen’ tebya lyublyu. So, so much.” She crouched back over your lap and breathed in the scent of Ellie and began to sing again.
“I love you too, Natasha.” You whispered.

Today I had the pleasure of entering the Russian General store in Houston, Texas and having the chance to sit down and speak with Mr. Alexander Kogan while his business partner, Ms. Anna Levitin tended to the business, they have shared for over 20 years! Ms. Levitin is a bit shy and didn’t wish to be photographed, although you’ll have to trust me that she is quite the attractive lady! Smart as a whip too according to Mr. Kogan! I think he feels a bit badly that she’s been taking on so much more than her fair share of the work load since he became ill as he mentioned his gratitude more than once toward Ms. Anna Levitin. Very touching to see these two friends in business together still after so many years. What a team!
Mr. Alexander Kogan – Partner/Owner of The Russian General Store
Mr. Kogan was born in Bukhara, Uzbekistan back when it was part of the Soviet Union – it is now an independent state. However, he spent the majority of his years growing up in Leningrad, (now St. Petersburg). Although he has travelled quite a bit in his lifetime!
Mr. Kogan was kind enough to send me this photo of him from his travels in Central Asia (back row with beard)
Mr. Kogan (left) in Central Asia
When I asked Mr. Kogan why he came to America? He replied, “Curiosity!”. What a bold move!!! He had to give up his Russian citizenship in order to come to America. Back home in the Soviet Union, Mr. Kogan was a degreed Biologist and Zoologist. He was helped upon his arrival and supported by an International rescue committee. Initially, he took a job in a commercial printing company. Kogan had been a photographer in the Soviet Union and soon realized by his estimate, that the Soviet Union was lagging behind by about 30 years where photography was concerned so he quickly caught up. Nowadays, there is not a lag however in technology at all in Russia. Eventually he became the Head of a Research Photography Unit at Baylor College of Medicine. One thing led to another and he ended up here with Ms. Levitin and this marvelous Russian General Store! Although Mr. Kogan has never returned to his homeland, he does still Skype with his remaining family back home.
Adorable, hand-painted Russian gifts are throughout the store and are gorgeous! I loved the card selection too!
I could have sat and listened to Mr. Kogan and asked him questions for hours!!! He has that gleam in his eye of mischief and a great sense of humor to match his fun personality!! Ms. Anna Levitin on the other hand, was steadily busy running the store while we were chatting it up. According to Mr. Kogan, his partner, Ms. Levitin has been doing the majority of the work running the store since he became ill. You can tell just how appreciative he is that he has a strong woman like Ms. Levitin as the primary care-taker of The Russian General Store!
There are tons of books, trinkets, and food! I was thinking how nice it would be for a Russian child to have a book from “home” when living/visiting here long-term. Nice to know where their parents can shop to bring some comforts of home to their new home here!
When I asked him what his favorite thing in America was, he stated, “In Russia you belong to the government, here to yourself”. He had me laughing about how when he first arrived he just ate nothing but meat practically his first 15 years here as in Russia it was so expensive that you were unable to get the same meat, etc. back then. It is impossible for us here in America to truly be able to understand all the differences in culture, lifestyle, etc. and times have also changed since, for both countries. Although, he did feel Russian’s in general might be happier or at least have fewer worries such as medical care as everyone has health coverage there. Education is also at no cost provided you pass the required tests. Of course one must be sure to realize that this was 37 years ago that Mr. Kogan recalls these memories and is quick to point out that Russia is no longer this way.
The Russian General Store at 9629 Hillcroft Avenue, Houston, TX 77096 has a fantastic collection of Russian and other hard to find beer and wine from all over the world!
Even Kosher Wine! But I liked seeing all the different foods the most!
Mr. Kogan has a son here in Houston, Mikhail. Mikhail turns out is an artist! So, you know me…I HAD to see his work!!! I am fortunate enough that Mr. Kogan sent me a few images of his work – thanks!
I love the use of the bold colors of Mikhail’s works and although they are a bit “dark” in nature, I think a lot of children are terrified of Santa and it sorta cracked me up! You can see more of Mikhail’s works on Facebook.
Mikhail Kogan’s artistic concentration is mainly rooted in surrealism, post-modern expressionism and abstract art. Through the use of colored pencils, water colors, acrylic paint, and charcoal, Mikhail creates original works of art with meaning and personal expression. Mikhail creates unique originals and commissioned art that is open to individual interpretation and understanding.
I also learned of Mr. Kogan and his partner. Ms. Anna Levitin’s sponsorship of “Around The Corner”, which is a Folk Dancing Center and Children’s Theatre. What generous people! Hear Anna puts a lot of work into this as well!! Seems Ms. Levitin is always on the go and working hard!
“Za Uglom” (“Around the corner”): their dancing group “Uzori” and rehearsal of children theater for their performance of “The wizard of Oz”
Nice that the dance troop and children’s theatre is so close to their hearts!
What a great collection of interesting items!! I HAD to get 2 chocolate eggs with prizes inside!
Hope you enjoyed! Next time you want to treat yourself to a fun adventure, check out The Russian General Store!
As always, I thank each of you for your support and value you all! Thanks for visiting!
Elizabeth and Max

Previous parts: pt.1, pt.2
Next part: pt.4
You could feel the silent drops of rain, streaming down your face, small droplets already caught in your eyelashes. You were yet unable to recognize the setting. You started walking, not really knowing where you're headed. You started looking around, there was nothing but turf around you, for miles and miles, the greenery seemed to be the only thing man could see. You felt your heartbeat fasten and a lump forming in your throat. What is this place? How do you get out of there?
You started running. You ran and ran and ran and it wasn't helping you one bit. You were out of breath and tears were now mixing with raindrops on your cheeks, making your hair stick unpleasantly to your face.
You sat down, desperate, hopeless and defeated. You cried for what seemed to be hours now. Then you heard singing, it was muffled by the now rapidly falling rain, but it was a sound of singing nonetheless. You stood up weakly, not entirely trusting your senses anymore, but the more you walked, the louder the music got.
You stopped suddenly. You came in sight of what seemed to be a funeral, but something was off. The music you heard wasn't funeral music, it was worse it was so much worse. There was a little girl standing on the very grave itself and she was the only one singing, everybody else was just emptily staring to the ground.
»Tili Tili bom, ty slyishish, kto-to ryadom? Pritailsya za uglom I pronzaet vzglyadom.« (Tili tili bom, can you hear him closing in? Lurking around the corner, staring right at you.) The girl sang.
You just stared at her. Her appearance was mutilated. Half of her face was bruised, her lower lip brutally cut in half, scarlet blood staining her teeth, her once glowing, dark skin was now the colour of the ashes and her plaits, half undone, were slightly covering her eyes.
Then all of the sudden, she looked straight into your eyes.
You had never felt such panic and fear washing through your body, shaking the very core of your spine. You started trembling, not from the cold, but from how scared you felt under her gaze. You didn't understand why were you so scared, this girl did nothing but look at you and sang, yet the way she looked and the way she stood on the grave, unmoving, like a porcelain doll on the bookshelf, was so unnerving to you.
»Tili Tili bom, vse skroet noch nemaya, za toboy kradetsya on I vot-vot poymaet.« (Tili tili bom, the silent night hides everything, he sneaks up behind you and he is going to get you.) Her high pitched voice cut through your ears once again, her eyes not once leaving yours.
»On idet. On uzhe. Blisko.« (He walks. He is coming. Closer.)
At the last word, you felt a hand grab your shoulder. You screamed in fear. When you saw who was behind you, you nearly fainted. It was him.
»Like the scenery?« he asked, his voice laced with poison.
He bowed his head to your ear. »You should, it's your funeral.«
The girl screeched. That was the last thing you heard, then you woke up.
AVENGERS' CONFERENCE ROOM
»No, Tony, no. I don't want to see her anywhere near me, that girl is mental.« Clint yelled.
»Wow, wow, wow, let's all just calm down.« Sam tried to reassuringly squeeze Clint's arm.
»Calm down? Calm down?!! Don't tell me to calm down, while Ton brings a fucking terrorist to our tower.« Clint's face was getting more red by the second.
»She. Is. Not. A terrorist!« Tony yelled back.
»Oh please Tony! I thought you were smarter than this. Just because she says she isn't one doesn't mean that's the truth. What, I mean are you going to believe her word over the council's?« Clint continued to argue.
»Goddamn it Clint! Yes, yes I will! And do you know why I will?« Tony was clearly frustrated with Clint.
»Oh, do enlighten me, please!«
»Because she tried to warn them Clint, she tried to warn the government and they didn't listen! And they never do! And of all people our team should be the one to know this best. They never listen, convinced that they hold all the strings in their hands and when somebody says otherwise, they shut them down. However when something bad does happen, they don't take the blame. They find an innocent man and put the blame on that man, meanwhile continuing to blind themselves from what is really happening around the world and to overhear every single warning. That's why I believe her Clint and you should know better. WE should know better.« Tony took a long sip from his glass of bourbon.
Silence overtook the room and nobody dared to break it.
»Well I believe her too! I mean damn it Clint, you should see it man, this girl is... something else, this girl is brilliant. She's able to tell your entire life story from having one look at you. I witnessed her do it and even though I was sceptical at first Tony ran a search on the guy she analyzed and guess what, she was right. She took one look at that man and was able to read him like a book, not missing one detail about him. I'm telling you Clint, if someone can help us, than this is her.« Sam was the one to break the silence after a while.
»Okay! Fine! She stays, but I am telling you, one incident and I will personally escort her back to the hellhole she crawled out of.« Clint said, then walked out of the room.
»By the way, has anyone seen our girl today?« Nat asked.
All she got was some shrugs and no's.
»FRIDAY where's Y/N?« she asked the AI.
»Miss Y/L appears to be in the kitchen Miss Romanoff.« the AI answered.
»Is everything alright?« Nat's worried voice startled you.
»I am well, thank you for asking.« you said, shifting uncomfortably in your seat by the kitchen counter.
»Are you sure? You look a little worn out.« she probed.
»I just had some troubles sleeping last night, nothing more. No need for you to worry.« you answered quickly.
»Well good then, 'cause we need you in a conference room once you're finished with your meal.«
You gave her a curt nod and she left the room.
Once you came to the conference room, everybody was already seated, the only space left was between Clint and Steve. You sighed inwardly, but sat down, smiling nonetheless. Clint murmured something incoherently, while Steve gave you a kind greeting.
»So what's the agenda today?« you asked timidly.
»Well, we wanted to go on through the list of some possible Hydra members and we thought you could tell us whether you think they are real members or Hydra just planted them as a false bait to distract us.« Tony said, with a somewhat stern voice.
»Yes of course, I can do that.« you were quick to respond.
Tony projected some photos and videos of the men. For some you could quickly tell they were part of Hydra, by the way they walked, held themselves, how they interacted with people on those videos... for some, you needed more time and more information to put them on the list.
Then at the last picture you felt you entire body tense and you could feel the muscles in your stomach twist and clench. You were sick. It was a picture of him. It was as if you were dreaming again, as if he was standing right next to you in this room. You forgot how to talk, you forgot how to breathe.
An arm tried to shake you out of your trance. It was Steve, his lips were moving. He was saying something to you, but you were unable to hear his words. No, all you could hear was the ringing in your head.
»Y/N! Y/N! For god's sake Y/N!!« Steve's voice finally made it through the fog in your head. you tried to focus on him, but it was hard. It was so hard.
»Breathe! Y/N breathe!« he was saying repeatedly.
You took a deep, painful breath in.
»And out! Don't forget to breathe out!«
You exhaled shakily.
»There you go. Just breathe. Take your time.« Steve was rubbing circles on your back reassuringly.
»Y/N? Who is that? The man on the picture?« Tony asked, carefully.
»That«, you said with trembling voice »is the man you don't ever wish to meat. 'Cause the moment you meet him, is the moment you shook hands with death himself.« You stood up and sped out of the room.
You were at the gym, throwing some hard punches at the heavy bag.
You heard someone cough behind you. It was Bucky.
»Give me one more minute, then I'll be out of your way.« you said, visibly out of breath.
»Well I actually came, because I wanted to talk to you, but it's okay if you don't want to« he replied.
»What did you want to talk about?« you asked, while stripping yourself of the hand bandages.
»I just wanted you to know that we got your back. You don't need to be afraid of this guy, whoever the hell he is, because we got your back. You're part of the team now, which means we will protect you and it also means no one will hurt you as long as we are around.« he tried so hard to reassure you.
You just looked at him incredulously.
»Why thank you for trying to reassure me, but you have absolutely no idea, who it is that you are dealing with. It doesn't matter how many people are trying to protect me, as soon as he finds out where I am, you can write me off as deceased. Bucky! I am scared as hell, of this guy. And if you're smart... you should be scared of him too!«

Drugoga nije bilo – precizno odgovara policijski službenik.

Beograd, 11. avgust 2021. – Kompanija Samsung Electronics otvorila je, na virtuelnom događaju Galaxy Unpacked 2021: Get Ready to Unfold, novo poglavlje u oblasti preklopnih pametnih telefona sa dva najnovija premijum modela - Galaxy Z Fold3 5G i Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. Oba uređaja odlikuju se vrhunskom izradom i revolucionarnim performansama kakve Samsung korisnici vole i očekuju. Treća generacija ovih uređaja, legendarnog dizajna i impresivnih odlika, Z Flip3 i Z Fold3 korisnicima pruža jedinstvene nove načine rada, gledanja i igranja.

Tili Tili Bom (Astor)
Timeline: New Court - Daniel Nightengale Chronicles
Location: On the streets of Manhattan, near Astor’s personal apartment
Characters: Astor Smithe-Nightengale, Daniel Nightengale, Béla Király,
Summary: Daniel stalks Astor, wreaking havoc on her mind as he reveals himself to his sister.
The men passing by called out to her, egging her to give them a smile. But Astor’s scowl deepened as she stared across the busy intersection to the sidewalk four lanes away. Her migraine hadn’t lifted with fresh air as she’d hoped- if anything, it was worse now.
Your family is doing fine without you- better now that you’re not there. The sound of victory reigning through the battlefield by the men you fought for, that meant something. You will die with no real contribution to the world, unlike your parents. Great power hums in your veins. You’re not worthy of the titles you have, you didn’t earn them.
Turning from the street light she’d been staring at for the god’s only knew how long, Astor stuffed chilled hands into the pockets of her jacket as she walked.
History is written by the victors. You will be forgotten by the absence of ink to paper. Give yourself time to heal, to learn your body again. Your parents ripped this world apart for their children and you can’t even get out of bed long enough to brush your fucking teeth.
Slowly, her vision began to lose focus as the brightness of daylight began to blind her. The migraines… she just wanted to get back to her apartment, if only to be alone as her brain dissolved.
The voices that warred inside her mind continued to rise, drowning out the sounds of life around her. She blinked against the light in her eyes, struggling to ground herself as she felt strangers bump shoulders trying to get by.
Home… I need to get home.
You have no home.
I know. Astor managed to shoulder to the side of a building, pressing her face against the cool brick. Fever… she had to be burning up. I need to get inside, lay down.
Inside her right pocket, she felt around until her phone fell into a tight grip. Using muscle memory, she thumbed the button until she felt the light vibration of life returning to the device. She needed help, someone to get her to a safe, dark spot.
Bela. He was the safest to call, now. She couldn’t be around her twin, couldn’t face the control that had come so easily to her sister, yet tortured her.
It was a mess inside her head, as if all the drawers had been opened and contents left scattered on the floor. It took some time, but she managed to find it in the mess.
Clinging to the soul bond, Astor pooled a small ball of emotion and sent it lashing down the bridge. She knew the second it left that she’d put too much force behind it- but what had been a gentle nudge was now her wrecking ball.
Fear for her warrior prickled at the edge of subconscious, but it was quickly overwhelmed by everything else. The voices, the high-pitched squeal that never seemed to leave.
Pulling the phone from her pocket, Astor struggled to read the screen through the blinding light that sent her vision swirling. A few taps she hoped would take her to a call, and she pressed the phone to her ear.
Dialing. She could make out the familiar tone, faint as it was. She waited, turning to lean her back against the brick wall. Her knees weakened with every hum of dial tone.
Pick up, pick up…
A click, and the dialing stopped. She didn’t have time to look and see, to make sure she’d dialed the right person. At this point, it didn’t matter. She was going to unload her stomach on the street if someone couldn’t take her to lay down.
“Bela?” No answer. “N-Nico? I need help.”
But the voice that responded was not her friends, not female at all. A deep tone whispered through the speaker.
“Ty slyshish', kto-to ryadom? Pritailsya za uglom, I pronzaet vzglyadom.” Can you hear someone next to you? Huddled in a corner, with a penetrating gaze.
Her gasp was little more than a whisper, air escaping from a chest that could hold no more pain. A boom of agony exploded behind her eyes, throbbing with the timber of words spoken from the stranger’s rasp.
“Tili-tili-bom, vse skroet noch' nemaya, Za toboy kradetsya on, I vot-vot poymaet.” Tili Tili Bom. The night will muffle everything. He is sneaking up to you, now he’s almost got you..
Please. She couldn’t make her lips work, couldn’t find the control to even whisper the plea against the onslaught of pounding within her skull. Please. Her back bowed as her body doubled over, trying to make herself smaller.
“On idet... on uzhe blizko…” Hear his steps... He's already close...
Against the heavy throb of pressure, Astor managed to open her eyes to find a man staring at her from across the street. Cars whipped by in blurs of color, but he stood like a statue. Watching her.
And though she’d dropped the phone to cover both ears, she still heard the words even as she read them on his lips. “Tili-tili-bom, ty slyshish', kto-to ryadom? Pritailsya za uglom, I pronzaet vzglyadom?” Tili Tili Bom. Can you hear someone next to you? Huddled in a corner, with a penetrating gaze?
Before she dropped, before the world went black, she felt it. From the chaos of her mind, a tug responded down the bond. And Astor watched blood drip from her nose to the dirty sidewalk before losing the battle to stay awake.
