i dont know much about them, but the kawasaki zx14r engine seems to be a perfect candidate for engine swaps.

theyre alot cheaper than most large capacity bikes, and it redlines around 10k while still making around 190hp and a little less torque than a blacktop 4AGE. 

i’d prefer a V4 engine purely for the insane sound, but power to cost ratio along with the wonderfully tiny packaging means you could wedge it in way more engine bays than a hayabusa (which requires laying the cylinder banks over at like 40 degress. 

everything from the coolant outlets, to the gearbox output shaft height seem to work really nicely for an automotive application, my only issue would be making the intake fit under a bonnet with longer trumpets which would likely be necessary for lower end torque. 

im imagining this in the back seat of something tiny and RWD, like a UP20 Publica, direct mounted to an early MX5 rear diff and subframe. even putting it in the front of a KE70 or a starlet could be cool. lighter than anything you could swap in and revs that are manageable in a drift application. so long as you have a good rev limiter, this would be a reliable powerplant for any lightweight sports car.

i think the zx14r has a more similar body however. a 1441cc engine is INSANE and the bike wouldve costed like $20k

but if we wanna go off the idea that duke took bruce’s old bat bike then the zx14r is fine
